We wanted to go local in Las Vegas as the strip restaurants are getting out of hand. We drove over to Lola's which doesn't look like anything from the outside. Inside we ordered shrimp remmulade and shrimp creole. Both were just terrific, and my mouth tingled for 20 minutes afterward. What a great little place where the service was all you could ask for. Order the tea not sweet, so you can customize it yourself. A definite must in Las Vegas.

I am southern born and mostly raised (dad was air force). I had never had gouda grits. My husband and I are now addicted. the food at Lola's is just fantastic. Wonderful cat fish with great tarter sauce and those gouda grits. Small seating area so make reservations but it is worth every penny.

We had 4 in our party - this spot is not one you want to go to with a big group as seating is tight. It's a great spot though. We had the crab cake appetizer, grilled salmon, shrimp creole & bread pudding for our meal. I highly recommend it.

The friendly atmosphere and tasty food make Lola's the ideal place to meet friends. We often go for Happy Hour - especially when crawfish are in season. The wine pours are decent on the happy hour wines. Of course, they have a number of specialty cocktails. My favorite dish is the Signature Orange Bowl Salad - delicious! Also, the crispy artichokes with lemon aioli are a favorite. Most of my friends go for the creole dishes but even if you are not a fan of southern cooking, you can find some tasty options at Lola's.

Recently spent a few months working in Louisiana and came here expecting to be disappointed. How happy I am to be wrong. Lots of choices and great quality, coupled with fair prices. I will be back, as a local, again and again and again.....

We stopped in late on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was pretty crowded. There is a bar in the front, which had live music. Our waiter, Andy, was great! We started with chicken wings that were good, but pretty small. My husband had the jambalaya, which he enjoyed very much and I had my favorite, crayfish etouffe, which was delicious. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. The service was fast and friendly and we will definitely be back.

My friends and I(a group of seven) went to Lola's on the last day of a wonderful girl's trip to Vegas. We arrived at 1130 to find a sign on the door stating there had been a power outage and the restaurant would not open until 1200. We decided to stay go shop for 30 minutes and return. Upon return we where told that they where working short staffed due to the outage. We where agreeable. Someone arrived to take our drink orders which came a little slow but we where aware of the situation. However an hour and a half later we still had not received our food and others who arrived after us had been served and left. We then asked the ETA of our order (we still had to uber back to our hotel on the strip and get our bags and be ready for our scheduled pick up for 1430) we where told 20 more minutes eta of our food. When the food arrived the orders where mixed and 3 of us never got all of our food. We didnt6have time to sit for everything to be made right. There where no ad apologies, no offers to comp the meal. I have no plans to return to Lola's due to the lack of professionalism and customer service. I have no clue how the food taste really; all of it never arrived...

We had such a great time in this restaurant, small and cosy in Vegas. Here we understand that in Us they come and fill your coke anytime you like. My fish was amazing and also very tasty. I enjoyed everything even if my girlfriend said that for her was a little spicy. Overall in this place they make you feel welcome. Staff friendly and kind.

What a gem!! Both of my parents were from Louisiana, so we were tempted because Lola’s showed up in a review of “The 15 best places for bread pudding in Las Vegas.” We called and were lucky to be squeezed in on a Saturday evening, and SO HAPPY they were able to make room. I had Bronzed Shrimp & Grits. What a treat! Luscious shrimp with just the right amount of spice and Gouda (cheesy) grits. OMG! It was half consumed before I even thought about taking a photo. I chose 5 shrimp instead of 8 to save room for dessert. The Lola’s Famous Bread Pudding with Jim Beam praline sauce was both beautiful and delicious! If you’re in Las Vegas and want great Cajun & Creole food ebay is not overpriced, check out Lola’s. Oh, and the hospitality and service was outstanding!

Some friends had raved about Lola's so we decided to give it a go. They had been to the Summerlin location, so perhaps it was different, but we were not so thrilled with the food. The ambiance is local diner, which is OK with us, but the music playing was loud enough to make conversation with my tablemate difficult. My partner's gumbo was decent with some very tasty sausage in it. It was spicy without being over the top. I had fried catfish topped with crawfish etoufee served over rice. I bought this dish because it was the only way to get the crawfish etoufee. All of the components were underwhelming. I live in the Pacific Northwest and have eaten all kinds of fish my entire life, yet I fail to see what the big deal is with catfish. It was utterly forgetable, bland and mushy. The crawfish etoufee was OK, but lacked much flavor. It was boring. The best part of the meal was the toasted bread that was served along with the entrees. We left feeling full, but rather disappointed. It took extra effort to go and find this location. We really did want it to be extraordinary, but it turned out to be just ordinary. I doubt that we will return.

My date loved her Seafood Combo: 2 Oysters, 3 shrimp, crab cake and catfish. The catfish was divine. I tried the a tiny bit of my dates catfish and it was the best fish I ever had. I had a sweet potato yam, it was ok and by the way it was really soft. I also had red potatoes which were great but to salty for me. Lola’s vegetables were great. I am a vegan and I never put salt on my food. The atmosphere was wonderful and the gentleman on the piano was fabulous. We had their chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. The cake was so soft and delicate. We also came back the next day for brunch it was awesome. The french toast is the best. Their prices are lower than most of our regular dinner places.

We found this great place on our last night in Vegas. We loved it! Everything was delicious. I ordered fried okra as an apitizer and it was a basket full plenty to share. One of us had the fried shrimp poor boy and couldn’t eat it all. Love the atmosphere and the service couldn’t have been faster! If you like Cajun you must go.

We fully enjoyed our visit to Lola’s. The shrimp and grits and gumbo were very tasty. We also had the Bananas Foster bread pudding. So good!

This is our second evening at Lola's on Charleston. We were here at 4:30 and Happy hour was a treat. Angela waited on us and did a fantastic job, she has worked here for nine years and gives a very accurate description of every menu item. It is a small restaurant but very clean and well appointed. We sat inside last night , this afternoon we sat outside on the patio under a sun awning. The dishes we have tried are : Jambalaya,Caesar salad,Gumbo, Garlic toast ,Greens ,Blue crab cakes, Hoppin' John, Fried oysters. All these dishes were delicious with very good seasoning. We enjoyed our "Banter" with Angela , she is a peach !!!.

Moderately priced Louisiana Cusine. But u can get a great salad salmon or fettuccine Alfredo. . It was alittle to loud for my business meeting.

Never been to Louisiana, but I know a bit about the cuisine. So we ordered broiled oysters, catfish and grits, tchoupitoulas, and a side of fried okra. (The Gouda grits are out of this world good.) Ok, and a bottle of California Pinot Gris for $39 (fair price). WHAT A LUNCH - accompanied by superb and friendly service (thanks, Sheena!). Lola’s is a bit out of the way, but really worth the extra effort. Here’s hoping Lola can relocate downtown, too.

We are from Louisiana and recently visited Las Vegas. We found Lola’s on trip advisor and decided to visit since it is traditional southern food. The owner is from New Orleans. The location is off the strip but is worth a taxi fare to dine at this restaurant. Absoutely Amazing! I’m somewhat of a food critic but this restaurant exceeded my expectations! The crawfish hush puppy appetizer had a wonderful robust flavor and it was more of a crawfish ball texture than a hushpuppy. The homemade dip that was served with the hush puppies is a must! I dined on the traditional New Orleans BBQ shrimp! This dish has all the flavor that you would receive at a high end restaurant in New Orleans. The Bananas Foster Bread pudding is the best that I have ever had. It was so delicious that we ordered two!! The decor and ambiance of the restaurant made us feel like we were back home in South Louisiana! Do not miss out on this hidden Southern Gem in Las Vegas! Many places claim to have southern food but it usually is not real Cajun cuisine. This place is the real deal!! We will definitely visit Lola’s again! It’s phenomenal!!! 🖤💛

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It isn't so large that you never see the servers and it isn't so noisy that you can't have a conversation! It was perfect! Service was great, mood was lovely, the food...oh the food was delicious! I ordered the blackened salmon, sweet potatoes and beans. I will definitely be returning! If you are looking for great food and conversation go to Lola's!

My husband and I were visiting Las Vegas recently and received a recommendation from a local. We went for dinner and we’re so glad that we did. The food and service was excellent! The food was authentic Cajun and just like you remember from home. They even offered BBQ shrimp, which is a Cajun specialty that has everything to do with immense seasoning and nothing to do with BBQ. We were extremely impressed and wished we could have fit in a second visit while we were in Vegas.

Service was great... Crab Cake was look warm in the middle. Jambalaya has raw chicken pieces in the dish. I showed server and she agreed. She took fish away. Jambalaya was taken off bill. No manager came out to speak to us. However, eating raw and undercooked food is very unsafe. FYI - No beignets at this location. Other location serves them only on Sundays.

Aaaah what an awesome experience!! Amazing food and super friendly staff even though we were the last ones there...we did NOT get rushed out the door!! Best grits I have ever tasted!! Had mine with catfish and shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend!!

First time at the new location. Service was perfect. Food, as always, is right on point. So nice to get solid New Orleans food and libations in Las Vegas.

Food is great and it is reasonably priced for Sunday Brunch. This Southern girl loves grits and finding someplace here that does them right is hit or miss, but they nail it every time.

Small restaurant with limited seating and our friends took us there, recommend reservation as it a popular place with locals and rightfully so do good food. Service is very good and prices are reasonable.

It was overpriced and the wait for our food was terribly long. The catfish was very greasy and the side dishes were bland. I am from Louisiana so. I was pretty disappointed.

Wonderful service, atmosphere, and a wide array of treats and snacks! Would highly recommend as nice spot to rest in the heat this summer!

While in Vegas we visited Lola's because we saw them on "Triple D" and it was worth it! A small place with limited seating, but we were able to get seated rather quickly. As you can see from the attached pictures, they don't hesitate to feed you! All the food was wonderfully prepared, just as we have eaten in NOLA (been there about 5 times now). I would recommend the sampler plate so you get a nice selection of items. Funny part is, the highlight of the triple D show was the "Hot roast beef" po boy....the one thing my wife didn't care for. She said tasted good, but not as good as the rest of the items we ordered, wasn't "Cajun" enough :)

Found this hidden gem via Food Network. As mentioned, the outside isn't fancy and it's a small dining room. The vibe is definitely a diner/downscale and informal feel. The food is awesome. Authentic Cajun/Creole dishes with more flavor than I've experienced outside NOLA. My favorite lunch place in NOLA for years was "Mother's". The atmosphere here is different but the flavors are very familiar. I had the roast beef D-Bree Po Boy. For those who might be unfamiliar, debris is the juice that drops into the roasting pan when the beef slowly roasts. They make a gravy of it and ladle it on the sandwich for a juicy and flavorful experience. I chose the side of potato salad. I was immediately transported back to the French Quarter lunch counter. My wife had the Fried Shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp breading was light, golden brown, and had a perfect crunch. My daughter had the Shrimp and Grits. I tried them and they were as good as any I've ever had. The highlight for me was my extra side dish of Gouda Grits. I love grits and these were perfect. They were creamy and the perfect consistency. The cheese really made the flavor explode. We also had desserts (Lola's Bread Pudding, Chocolate Cake). Both were outstanding. Our server, Ruth was extra helpful and friendly. She made several on-point suggestions. While in Vegas, you can pay a bunch of money for mediocre food if you're not careful. This was an exception and was well worth seeking out. The food was flavorful, fresh, and authentic. It was also VERY reasonable priced. Do yourself a favor. Seek out Lola's (by the way, I understand that they've opened another location in Summerlin if you are out that way).

So we came here for the first time and I must say we were looking forward to this. My husband ordered the jambalaya and we were surprised to see the serving of this entree. He orders this whenever he sees it on the menu but we were surprised as to how small the bowl was. My boys ordered the Drew Brees Po Boy sandwich and they said it was okay. We also ordered crab cakes and that was okay. I’ve had better. I ordered a pound of crawfish and unfortunately it was too spicy for me. I’ve had it before but some how I couldn’t couldn’t handle it. My favorite part was the dessert. I ordered the banana foster and it was the most delicious thing ever. So good that I went back to the restaurant the following evening just to order the dessert again. But I must say management went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I do appreciate that.

My coworker picked this place out for us to have dinner. I went with my go to shrimp Po boy and when I asked if the shrimp was breaded in cornmeal they said, "no but if you would like it breaded in cornmeal, we will be happy to do that for you." You could also get your shrimp blackened or served another way I don't remember. They also serve their shrimp Po boy with mayonnaise and when I asked to substitute for remoulade they said sure no problem. The bread they use was very crusty and I believe they actually imported from Louisiana. My only complaint is that there wasn't a whole lot of shrimp. My coworker got the shrimp etouffee and she cleaned her plate but before she did I got a little taste. It was good just needed a little bit of spice but they have Louisiana hot sauce on the table and they also offer Crystal hot sauce. These are two huge bonuses in my book because I like both of these hot sauces and I absolutely detest Tabasco and think it is the most overrated hot sauce on the planet. They may keep some in the back, but I did not ask.

Voted the best restaurant in 2013, Lola's is definitely the place to go for anyone seeking the best authentic soulfood in the city. From soft-shell crab to gumbo, the world is entirely your oyster when eating at Lola's!

I had heard and read great reviews about this restaurant and as frequent visitors to Las Vegas, we decided to have lunch. I was not impressed - I ordered the selection that has 3 items - gumbo, red beans and rice, and the étouffée. All three are served in a cup. I must say that I did not favor any of them. If I had to select one as the best, it would be the gumbo; however, it was no way close to being fabulous gumbo. Restaurant is small and has outside seating, as well. Service was good. The bread pudding was good. I had been told that it was to die for - it was not. As always, live, love, eat, drink, and have fun!!!

My husband found this place on TripAdvisor. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. We each had the blackened catfish entree. I enjoyed mine with the green beans & bacon and the ... wait, my mouth is watering... smoked gouda grits. Had a lovely pinot noir with mine. Our server James was personable and attentive without being intrusive. We look forward to returning to try the craw puppies and crab cakes. We will ask for James' section as we enjoyed his pleasant sense of humor. And, yes, we WILL be back. :-)

We were staying on the Strip, but heard about Lola's. I'm a huge shrimp & grits fan and the reviews were pretty strong. So we hopped a cab and headed out for breakfast. According to google, the restaurant opens at 11a on Sat. However, we got there and found the place didn't open until 12pm; so that was a bit disappointing. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, so there wasn't anyplace easy to walk to. Thank goodness they had some chairs outside in the shade. So we chose to sit and wait till opening. One of the managers was kind enough to bring us some ice water and around 11:45a, allowed us to come inside until they were ready to start service. So on to the good stuff - THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC!! I will say their bronzed shrimp & grits ranks in my top three. It comes in this phenomenal ragoutl! It was so full of flavor; I couldn't stop eating it. I don't like mushrooms, but I ate every freakin' mushroom in that ragout. I also had the red beans & rice. Again, super good. I was completely satisfied.

We visited here on New Year's Eve with a reservation. When we arrived, the hostess did not seem to know where to seat us. When we finally were seated, we waited for 5+ minutes before anyone came to the table. We ordered Jambalayla and the Gouda Grits and Crawpuppies. The grits came out in a bowl about the size of a cup of soup. I got four crawpuppies each about the size of a quarter. The jambalayla was a fairly normal size. The total bill was almost $60 for very little food. We never received the bread the waitress promised. We never got a refill on our waters. I understand that the restrictions have strained the restaurants, but this was the worst service we received in Las Vegas.

Main entrée of crawfish etouffee was very bland. Was surprised given the overall rating. Bread pudding dessert was very good. But not enough to overcome the poor entree.

Great place for a low key dinner. Wouldn't recommend bringing a big group, but 4 to 6 is perfect. Every enjoyed their meals and the service was good.

This is one of my son's favorites. I can't handle the spice but there was enough on the menu for me to. We were a party of 7. Everyone was happy with their meal and the service was excellent.

My husband and I enjoyed Lola's for lunch last week prior to visiting the Pawn Stars shop a few blocks away. We arrived a few minutes before they opened but were graciously invited in early. We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were really good. And then I had the shrimp creole -- a little spicy but delicious and the right portion size for lunch. Service was very attentive and food came out quickly. If you are in the area, it's a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat.

Quaint location that’ll remind you of New Orleans itself once you step inside. And the food....absolutely amazing!

Lola's is truly authentic New Orleans. Great Cajun food and friendly service. We went for an early dinner and didn't have to wait, but as time went on I can see this place gets busy. I would definitely go back to Lola's.

Had the hamburger large patty and good flavor. Fries were average but service was great. Lots of menu options but most are flagged as spicy. Overall good experience and a triple d.

You have to try this place. Our waitress ANGELA was fantastic, the service was good, the food was delicious. When you first walk in you think this might be a hole in the wall, don’t let that fool you, they have really got it going on!

A coworker from California recommenced this place. The food was very good. The artichoke dip was possibly the best I’ve ever had. The catfish was also excellent. The server was very helpful and attentive.

Great food, catfish (bbq or fried), jambalaya and more. Dined with family twice with family during a five-day visit. Service was very friendly and helpful when we requested gluten-free options. We went on weekdays and it wasn't busy, however I'm told that weekends may require reservations.

We stopped in for dinner and it was amazing!!! I wanted to try so many things on the menu. I got the shrimp and grits...so good. It was a hearty portion, but I didn't want it to end.

Excellent food. The service was great and our waiter was friendly. The sauce on the Roast Beef “D’Brees” was delicious. Definitely would recommend and will be back for more. We visited New Orleans about a year ago and this brought back great memories of the great tasting food!

I just came from here. The gouda grits was good but not awesome. The flavor was there but it's like it wasn't cooked all the way. I had the crab cake as well. It was good but what threw me off was the sauce. I wish I would have asked for it to be on the side, aarrgh. I didn't like the lemon flavor of it. My waitress was a petite Asian young woman who was really sweet and helpful. What turned me off about this place was what happened with the dessert. I ordered the bread pudding and after taking a bite I quickly realized I just didn't like it (between the texture and the flavor, it just wasn't for me). When my waitress came to ask me what I thought about the bread pudding I told her how I felt and she went to the manager to see if she could remove it from the check. Manger said no because essentially since there was no defect with the desert then there was no reason to take it off the check but if I wanted to I could take it home with me and order another desert if I would like. What??!!! If I'm telling you I don't like it, why would I take it with me? Also, after you won't work with me with first dessert, why would i potentially get stuck paying for 2 deserts that I don't like. Lady bye! I was tired and ready to go so I told her she could keep the desert and paid for the nasty bread pudding I took 1 bite of. Ridiculous but whatever, it's a lesson learned. That whole situation turned me off to the point I wouldn't come back here nor recommend it. Never have I been to a restaurant where you tell them that you don't like what you ordered but they still expect you to pay for it and tell you to take it with you. Boo to you Lola, boo :(

I ate at the Summerlin location. Lots of parking, very friendly service. Best fried okra I’ve had in a long, long time - I ate the entire basket. The aioli dipping sauce was tasty and garlicky. Crab cakes were pretty good, and the jambalaya outstanding. Will definitely check this place out again when near Summerlin.

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is always phenomenal and the service is always good as well. It has a very homestyle feel as well. The food is priced fair for the quality that they provide. I really enjoy the Summerlin location the best. Their sweet potato pecan pie is one of the best desserts in Las Vegas hands-down.

I am doing a Happy Dance in my chair, just thinking about my dinner. I went with 3 friends, as I was leaving town. We started with drinks and the garlic bread for the table, my friend ordered the crawpuppies. For dinner, I ordered the char broiled oysters, an oyster po-boy and saved room for that decadent dessert, the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Needless to say everything was fabulous, including the service. My friend will go back, but I am now many miles away.

Had a great dinner at Lola's which began with Grilled Oysters. I had never eaten an oyster before, but my co-worker nudged me to try one and I am so glad I did. Had the Jambalaya with extra sausage and shrimp, that was also delicious. I had the Bananas Foster for dessert, and wished the bananas were a little riper, but it was good and served with vanilla ice cream. We sat at the bar and were able to watch them grill the bread and oysters. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Will definitely go back if I am ever back in Vegas.

I'd never been to a restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives before so I was very excited o eat at Lola's and have their signature Roast Beef Po' Boy. "Disappointed" cannot describe my feeling after; it was incredibly dry. Even with the gravy they slather on, the beef tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long and it needed more seasoning - if it had any at all. If Lola's signature Roast Beef Po'Boy is what "Flavortown" tastes like, Lola's and Guy can keep it.

What terrible service- drinks by our bartender/waiter took more than 20 minutes. We watched as he did everything but make our drinks. Another server offered us bread. Half the items on my plate were burned. I can’t recommend Lola’s on Town Center Drive to a soul!

It was a take out order oyster loaf n the grease you can see was dirty wasn't change n on top of it ask for the sandwich to be dress got home n No!!, Lettuce r Tom Smh I'm over it n bein from N .O. I expected better

I have never had the chance to try this style of food, it was excellent. I tried the soft shell crab po’boy and it was amazing. Will try again next time I’m in Vegas.

If you enjoy Louisiana cooking, you have to give Lola's a try. Sooo good! From po-boy sandwiches to gumbo to blackened fish... and crab cakes! Some items shipped in directly from Louisiana. Located in a retro, renovated historical building. Perfect place to eat before catching a performance at The Smith Center. I keep going back, again and again.

I loved Lola. It's an odd location and I thought it was going to be hot and noisy. I was wrong. It was comfortable with a good noise level. I enjoyed the music which was mostly creole with an occasional Earth, Wind and Fire thrown in. I had a shrimp po boy. It was perfect - great bread perfectly toasted, dresses with perfect toppings and fried shrimp that was perfectly cooked. I wanted the greens as a side, which was not a published choice. They gave the greens to me at no extra charge which was very nice. Great service too.

Had frequented previously at original site near Fremont. It is closed now. We had a very nice meal and the crew all enjoyed their dishes. Our waitperson was very attentive and did a lot to enhance our visit. She even suggested going outside and checking out all the garden areas planted by the owner and told us to look for the family of Quails too which were there. A fun experience. ( I had catfish and shrimp on grits and loved it)

Enjoyed a very tasty and filling dinner. Ordered the catfish and Gouda grits....great cajun seasoning on the catfish and the grits are really good. Finished off with some Beam bread pudding and almost couldn't walk out! 😂 Definitely will come back when I'm in Vegas.

Just love this little restaurant. great service and genuine cajun cooking. Every single dish on the menu is so tasty. The shrimp and grits are perfection. We would love to try their delicious sounding desserts but we are always too full.

Read the reviews in TA and since we like Nola food, decided to give it a try. My husband had little hush puppy balls which was an extremely small serving-4 marble sized balls. Taste was just ok. I had a delicious and plentiful salad with nuts, oranges and craisins. Our main courses were much better. My blackened shrimp with Gouda grits was very good but very spicy. My husband had jambalaya but they charged extra for the shrimp in it. He said it was very good. The sweet tea was very good and helped with the spiciness. Bananas Foster was a delicious end to this dinner which wAs priced fairly.

We went for a business lunch. The environment is great. Feather boas and beads and an alligator and a piano. The service was excellent - such a great team of servers! The food was delicious. I loved the gumbo and tried the catfish. So tasty! Highly recommend Lola's.

Outstanding food and customer service. If you are ever in Las Vegas you must go but be aware it's not the biggest restaurant that you ever been to.

1, 2, 3 - three years have come and gone since our last visit. On entering we found the restaurant not as busy as in the past though it being a Tuesday evening most likely is the reason. We again voted for the bronzed catfish and Gouda grits that included andouille sausage and mushroom ragout which did not disappoint. Service was good with a manageable noise level manageable in spite of a large group seated nearby.

We tried this restaurant because it was a past Diners, Drive ins and Dives episode. It was a great call. It has a small and quaint atmosphere. The food was excellent all round. I had the Jambalaya with the addition of shrimp. It was excellent. The portion size was good and the taste exquisite.

The people in our group who ordered the PoBoy sandwiches really enjoyed their dinner but I ordered the fried oysters which was a mistake. I got 6 very tiny, overcooked oysters which was very skimpy for dinner and I left hungry. Salad was good. Service was good. If we go back, we will definitely order the PoBoys. I find it is very hard to get “real” New Orleans food outside of Néw Orleans itself.

I got out of the Uber and said this was a mistake, I opened the door and knew it was a huge mistake...Then i sat down the service was excellent and the food was better, This place needs a huge makeover inside and out but its worth going to , A few more non spicy offering on your menu would be nice

My husband & I had a terrific dinner here, so it definitely lived up to its reputation. He really enjoyed Shrimp Creole, and my Bronzed Shrimp with Grits was superb. We both highly recommend the bread pudding if you have room for dessert! We did not have a reservation and their seating was packed, but instead of that being a huge problem we were accommodated with some additional seating in a nearby hallway along with several other diners. It was kind of funky but very comfortable and we still had excellent service, even though it was a longer walk for the servers. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

We try to eat here each time we are visiting Las Vegas. Service is always good and food is sooo tasty! Love the grilled oysters and crab cakes to name a few. Must save room for their famous bread pudding.

Lola’s Restaurant is a hidden gem in the big city of Las Vegas. I eat here at least once on every visit to Las Vegas. I have never had anything here that was not exceptional must try the charbroiled oysters on the half shell.

If you are visiting Las Vegas and have a hankering for Louisiana style food check out Lola's. There are two locations, downtown and in the Summerlin area. I visited the downtown location at 241 W. Charleston Blvd. which is between the Las Vegas strip and North Las Vegas in the Arts District. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable for Las Vegas. Be hungry when you go. I started with the crab cakes as an appetizer - they were fantastic. The portion was large enough to be a meal of its own, but I proceeded to order the jambalaya chicken and sausage as my main course. The jambalaya had the perfect mix of spice - hot but not so hot as to leave me agonizing with regret. It is a good thing too as after dinner I was doing the Slotzilla zip line at the Freemont Street Experience. I am certain the crowds amassed below me appreciated me not losing my dinner as I soared over their heads! I finished my dinner at Lola's with their famous bread pudding. You have to try this...it was the best bread pudding I have eaten (sorry mom) topped with a Jim Beam praline sauce. Amazing. Definitely worth the cost of an Uber or taxi ride from the Las Vegas Strip. After dinner check out the Freemont Street Experience or the Neon Museum which are in the same general area.

I went to brunch at this hidden jewel. Not easy to find but excellent food, service and atmosphere! Great Crab Cakes like New England's best restaurants and Gumbo like Louisiana's best kitchens! Try their Craw Puppies for a great starter for everyone to share. I look forward to returning and trying more of their menu.

NOLA is one of my favorite places to eat and Lola's delivers that exceptional flavor, hospitality and BIG EASY dining experience. One of my favorite dishes is their Bronze Shrimp & Grits. Perfectly spiced, cooked to perfection and the cheesy, creamy grits with grilled and diced Andouille and shrooms finishes this dream dinner. It pairs perfectly with an Abita Amber (brewed across the Ponchartrain in Abita Springs) or two. This is one of the best eats and cozy nooks of Las Vegas.

The side dishes are where it's at. You can get decent Jumbo or Jumbalia anywhere, but the sides are outstanding. Some of the food came out luke warm, but they rectified the situation quickly. Good stuff and worth the visit.

We came here because we saw it was on Guy’s show. We were not very hungry so we opted for dessert. Sweetie had the bread pudding. I had the chocolate cake. Both were delicious. We left with the shrimp and grits also delicious. The server was friendly just as you would expect in NO. Plan to visit again.

We went to both locations on this trip and the food was exelent in both locations. The shrimp and grits was the best I have had. My wife had the soft shell crab and loved it also.

Absolutely great meal and experience at the Summerlin location. Drinks fabulous, food excellent and ambiance lovely. Really enjoyed the relaxed, but beautiful décor. We had dinner there on a Saturday night and also enjoyed the live piano music. The piano player was so good, we gave him a generous tip. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely. Highly recommend

Went to Lola's for dinner, wanted in the place looks like a café nothing fancy but boy was the food great! We got in on the crawfish boil quite an experience, all the food had great flavor and lots of food. Great place and not very expensive, We will be back.

There were four of us and we all loved our dinner. Two of us had the Jambalaya which was very good and seasoned well, one had the Gumbo which was hearty and delicious and one had the chicken and fettuccine which was enjoyable but on the salty side. Although we rarely eat dessert after a big meal we couldn’t resist the bread pudding which was to die for! Not only was the food great but the ambiance was wonderful. The decor was very eclectic and fun and they had a really nice patio outside for nicer weather.

Lola's came highly recommended and we were quite disappointed. It was off the beaten path and not worth the search. Food, service and ambiance were only fair.

I was super hungovered that day for lunch, and had been walking in the scorching heat of Las Vegas for 18 minutes (it feels longer by 100 F, believe me) and the cajun food, its spices and saltiness really helped; I picked catfish and grits with a glass of Chardonnay, it was really nice. The Noleans playlist in the background was good too; I think I recognized Dr John, The Meters and the likes.

Handcrafted artisan pizza plus great salads , sandwiches. Enjoyed great lunch with my friends. Small, limited parking but worth it.

Such a great place to get away from the crazy overpriced food on the strip. Great service and great food.

We started with the baked oysters. They were just okay. Small and lacked a bit of seasoning. The crawpuppies were good- just kind of small as well I had the bronzed catfish/shrimp over grits. I enjoyed the flavor and the dish overall. My fiend had the pecan crusted trout over grits. She enjoyed the dish- but not so much the Worcestershire sauce in the dish. Well - I love it - especially dipping the garlic bread in it. For dessert we did a combo offering- a banana foster-bread pudding. We enjoyed sharing that. Service was good. The location could use a bit of an update. But this original Louisianan enjoyed the LSU and Saints decorating. Even watched LSU College World Series game - and they won!

I was really disappointed this time. We'd made a reservation but were stuck sitting at a table right at the door. We had the jambalaya and it really was way too spicy for both of us. We had ordered extra sausage as well and it was burned plus we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. They were really busy and clearly the kitchen couldn't handle it. I had loved our last visit but can't say the same for this visit. Will have to think long and hard before coming back again.

Came with my girlfriends and it wasn’t everything we hoped for but hey that’s life, service average and food ok.

It’s Mardi Gras and we decided to go to Lola's A Louisiana Kitchen. They were offering Bayou Bucket with 2lbs of crawfish and 1/2lb shrimp. We had to get our order to go because they were so behind with their reservations. We got home and this is what’s in the to go container. Three pieces of shrimp is not half a pound. We’ve ordered a pound of crawfish before and this is not even a pound. It costs $38.99. There was no garlic butter or cocktail shrimp. I’m sure this is not their first Mardi Gras. Smh.

We were looking for a pet friendly lunch spot so the friends could meet the new puppy in a central location. Lola's was fantastic! Great shady patio for a pretty warm day, service was fast and attentive, even a bucket of ice water for the puppy to play in. The Lola salad was great, my son had the Big Easy po boy and it was big enough for 2. The other guests had a chicken caesar salad and the special sandwich of the day. No disappointments and portions were large enough for everyone to take something home. The "swamp water" sweet tea is amazing with the citrus fruit. Definitely will be back for Blues night.

After watching Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, I had to try it for myself. The roast beef poboy was calling my name. It did not disappoint! Fabulous! Hubby had bronzed shrimp and grits. Full of great flavor! FYI, on the mushroom ragout, it does contain andouille sausage. I ordered a side of grits with mushroom ragout thinking it was vegetarian, but didn't eat it all because I'm not keen on andouille sausage. If you like andouille, you will love it because it was very flavorful. Seemed like a tiny place with limited seating, but great service. The grilled garlic bread is addictive. You seriously cannot stop eating it! We shared the bananas foster bread pudding. Outrageous! Yes! We overdid it! Enjoy!

I loved Lola's ... although it was a little tricky to get to, once inside I loved the wily aunt was if the restaurant. All the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food was authentic Cajun and absolutely delicious. I would return to Lola's next tine I visit Vegas.

Discovered this restaurant via the Find Me Gluten Free app and chose it because husband loves seafood. We walked in the door and it wasn't what we were expecting to look like (it's a tiny tiny space in a strangely located strip mall full of offices). We waited about 15 minutes to be seated (it was near closing time). I ordered chicken (yes, I know... I don't eat seafood. lol But I chose it for husband) and he ordered shrimp creole. He loved it so much that he went back 2 more times during the rest of his stay! Servers were very attentive and personable (he said they remembered him after that and brought his drinks right to the table as soon as he was seated). This restaurant was featured on an older episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, you can find it on Youtube if you wanted to take a look.

Looking for something beyond the buffet burgeoned Strip? What a wonderful gem! Food was amazing. Had the Cajun reimagined Canadian Poutine with Andouille sausage. I wanted to drink the gravy. Who am I kidding? I did drink it! Red beans and rice were the Real Deal. Gumbo was dark colored like it’s supposed to be, not that fake red crap folks try to serve. It was full of dem “shrimps” Chere! Bananas Foster Bread Pudding was a gift to my taste buds.

Finding really good Louisanna food outside of the state is very hard, but Las Vegas has it. Small restaurant with less than 10 tables and lots of charm. Friendly staff who know what they serve and how to cook. We decided to go with 4 small dishes to share and were glad we did. The garlic bread is light and airy and very tasty. The crawpuppies were creamy inside and crunchy outside with a wonderful sauce to dip them in. I even dipped my break in the sauce! We also had the traditional jambalaya and coleslaw. Both were what I would expect to get in a local Louisanna restaurant. Just typing this is making my mouth water!

I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. For starters,, the food was absolutely outstanding. I got the fried oysters which were melt-in-your mouth delicious and my boyfriend got the grilled salmon which was tender, moist, and flavorful. The sides were also excellent--we got a side salad, veggie medley, baked sweet potato, and greens. For dessert, we shared a scoop of their bourbon praline ice cream and OMG--mind blowing good stuff! The service was impeccable and the prices were extremely reasonable. The entire bill for our combined dinners with the shared dessert and 4 beers between us was around $65 (not including tip and we absolutely left a sizable one). We will definitely be returning here again and again!

Great place to get away from the expensive food on the strip! We had 4 different entrees and no one was disappointed!! Crab cakes, Etouffee, red beans and rice, grits. We took Uber to get there and back.

We stopped by at Lola's because my husband had an urge for red beans and rice. He wasn't disappointed and nor was I with my Jambalaya. We visited during the working day and the clientele was almost exclusively locals and workers, which has to be a good sign, right? We'd recommend this restaurant and will be back next time we're in Vegas.

The Town Center location is kind of hidden away so you have to look for the entrance. The garlic toast is to die for. The poor boys are great especially the soft shelled crab. The desserts are wonderful. Our group of 10 ordered 3 and passed them around. Could not decide which was the best.

Very disappointing dinner. Fried catfish cut into small pieces covered in tasteless gravy. Crab cake with very little crab to be found and burnt on the bottom part. The server saved the day with excellent service. 2 stars...

The sauces are divine, the special of the day was roasted garlic with garbanzo and steak. We try to go once a week

We were looking for a place for dinner. TA had this nearby. Glad we stopped. Monday night, about 7:00 pm, place started filling up. Good blues music in the background. Excellent service. Food was awesome. I had the shrimp and grits; my wife had the etouffe. We also shared a pound of crawdads. For dessert we split an order of bananas Foster. Would definitely recommend and will return.

We had a delicious dinner. The menu has lots of options, especially for the spicy food lover. The roast beef PO’boy was delicious just like Guy Fierri from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives said. Everyone in our party liked their dinner. The bread pudding for dessert was excellent too!

We were excited to try Lolas but were very disappointed by our overall experience. The service was poor to say the least. Our waitress took our order by memory- instead of writing it down. Not sure if that was the problem but we never received our meal until almost 1 hr. When our meal finally came we took a few bites and asked for to-go boxes. No apology!! We watched others around us get their meals...locals maybe? Hope Lolas wasn’t discriminating out of towners?!! Big let down!

This is great tasting N'nawlins food. Nice assortment of dishes including the most popular ones you will find on and around Bourbon St. Lola's gouda grits are really yummy although I have never seen them on any menu in New Orleans. You can bet on regular comfort food like creole dishes blackened catfish and crawfish when available.

Service awesome - ask for Page. She recommended New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp. It was amazing. My sister kept dipping her chicken in my sauce. If you go to the North Outlet mall skip the food court and walk over for incredible meal.

Three of us ordered the Bronze Shrimp and grits. Two of the three said the shrimp was "awesome" and one "awesome" vote for the grits. Someone also ordered the regular fried shrimp and those were good also. But just come for dessert and order that Bananas Foster. Everyone agreed that was delicious. Pricing seemed a little high, but it is Vegas.

Moment we walked in, the place felt friendly. Looked like a dive bar with charm. The broiled oysters were not Drago’s, but they weren’t meant to be. Red beans and rice was pretty authentic. Jambalaya was excellent as were the shrimp and grits. Ham po’ boy was demolished by our pickiest eater. Bread pudding Foster was a big hit. Food was basically excellent as was the service. Our waitress, Lisa, was super friendly. Told the Summerlin Lola’s was more upscale and bigger, but this one was more intimate and comfortable. I believe it. Will be back!

Came into Lola's for Fat Tuesday grub and drinks and was not disappointed. We first order 5lbs of crawfish. They were good and had a mild spice. Then we ordered the Charbroiled Oysters, these were good, but they have changed the recipe and not as good as they used to be. We also ate on jambalaya with shrimp, crab cakes and red beans and rice. The entire good was full and happy. Coming back for more soon..

The best place around Las Vegas for New Orleans seafood. Great po-boys. Make a reservation because the place is small and is packed for lunch. They have shrimp and oysters. Crawfish when in season. Good po-boy bread from Leidenheimers in New Orleans. Also several varieties of Abita beer. Enjoy.

Friends took us here - never would have known about it but what a hidden gem. Cheese grits made with Gouda, amazing catfish and lots of other fabulous New Orleans dishes!! If you like great food and need a break from the casinos find this local spot!!

Stopped in for dinner a couple of nights ago, we have been here before and always left full and happy. This time the service was very slow, my food, the catfish and grits was very tasty, My wife's blackened catfish was just average and the plate presentation was below average. On the plus side the house salad with house vinaigrette was very tasty.

After seeing this place on Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins, we had to stop in. Very noisy and crowded.....and, busy. Beer and wine only. I opted for the beef po'boy that Guy had on Triple D. It was OK, but I expected better. I won't get that again. The grits I had on the side were great. My better half ordered the crab cakes and loved them. Our 14 yo had the chicken strips and liked them, too All in all, a good stop. I'll go for the catfish next time!

A group of Cajun food fans decided to try this place while visiting Las Vegas. We all loved it. We went to the one on Charleston and it was a bit difficult for out-of-towners to find. Well worth it. Everyone enjoyed their entree. Gumbo was especially good. Whatever you order, save room for the sweet potato pecan pie with Chantilly cream. This place is fairly small so reservations are a good idea. Will definitely return next time we're in town.

Stopped here after returning from Zion and it did not disappoint. Jambalaya with shrimp and andouille was delicious. Mardi Gras combo with Breaded catfish and fried oysters was light and flavorful. Triple D reviewed roast beef po’ boy packed with a ton of juicy meat. They even had good chicken strips for my son who doesn’t eat Cajun yet. The bananas foster bread pudding was the best dessert I have eaten in a long time. My son ate up the fig cake before I had a chance to try it, though I didn’t mind since the bread pudding was so darn good.

Me and my husband have been to Las Vegas several times and we really never tried restaurants off the strip but this time we did. This restaurant is close to downtown Vegas it’s Louisiana creole food. We came an hour before they closed. Food was hot when ordered and received quickly. I must say I felt bad because they had closed at 9pm but didn’t seem like it bothered them one bit. We were the last ones to leave and they cleaned and didn’t really rush out out because they had to clean up shop. I would definitely go back because the food was soooo delicious and the bread pudding everyone talks about was SLAMMING!!! The Gouda grits OMGGGG!! Very good

I read the TripAdvisor reviews of this place, and had to try it. Wow, was it good. The jambalaya and Gouda grits were incredible. Some of the best Cajun I've ever had. Our waitress was awesome too.

Just stopped by for a late lunch and enjoyed their bronzed catfish and gouda grits. It came with a mushroom and andouille sausage ragout and it was very good. I like spicy foods but I didn't feel it was overly spicy; just the right amount of heat and flavor. I would not hesitate to stop in the next time I'm in town.

Last night we were looking for a place to have dinner so I went to triple D’s Las Vegas and found Lola’s. My wife was kind of hesitant but we went anyways. I had a blast food was amazing. I ordered the Jambalaya she had the shrimp and fries. I had a few local beers but don’t remember brand but it was amazing. For dessert I had the banana fosters which was truly amazing would recommend everyone to visit this place.

First nght in Vegas so thought we would go to Lola's after seeing it on DDD. Got dropped off outside by the taxi and thought it had shut down as it was so quiet around the area. Saw the open sign on the door and went on in. BOOM! It was bustling and the smells from the kitchen were absolutely amazing. We were seated promptly and had a nice big dog pale ale in our hands within minutes. Waitress very knowledgable. My wife and i both had the crawpuppies first. I have to say, i literally said 'WOW'. I wasnt expecting that They are sooooo awesome. At first i thought they were small, but that doesnt matter. They are an explosion of taste. Then i had the Etouffee and my wife had the Gumbo. Dont be fooled by portion size if you are expecting a pile of food. Trust me it is enough. To be honest, I preferred the Gumbo, but that doesnt take anything away from the Etoufee. I think we are probably going to go back if we have time before we head back to the UK.

It a smallish location and has minimal parking but boy was it worth the stop! Genuine cajun food in LV! We had the shrimp pasta and the soft shell crabs and was I very pleased. The crabs were fried to perfection, seasoned just right and the fries really added to the meal. The service was spot-on as out waitstaff was attentive but not too clingy. She kept our tea glasses filled and was very polite. Food and service some of the best! The shrimp and pasta was cook just right and was excellent.

This was my second visit in as many years. Certainly much more crowded the last time I was in. Staff was quick and friendly although the kitchen was pretty slow considering we were only the second table occupied once we arrived. Had a great shrimp poor-boy with fries which were a bit too salty. My wife liked her red beans and rice although she mentioned she liked her own recipe better.

I am amazed now that the second Lolas is open that the crowds have gone to the west location. The orginal is still my favorite! You dont want to miss this place. The food is flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere familiar and comfortable and the service the best in town! (We love Lida!)You must try the orginal Lolas at the Holsten Bread building! You wont be disappointed!

Went for brunch - 7 in party I ordered jambalaya- fantastic Those who ordered from brunch memo Disappointed by portion size A MUST - side order of Maple praline bacon

I saw this place on TV (D,D,D) and they can be hit or miss but this place was a hit. I'm from the South and I can say the food overall was very good. We had a party of six so we got a vary of different dishes and all of them were good. The exception was the Rice & Beans which I found to be not up to par. I had the Combo Seafood Platter ( with the Soft Shell Crab) and it was all good and more than enough to eat even for the largest appetite. The grits with mushroom ragout was some of the best I've tried. The Oyster Po-Boy was full of Oysters and very tasty. The crab cake was also good. I look forward to going back and trying it again. One note, on Saturday's the website says open at 11:00am but they don't open till Noon. It is not a big place so I could them filling up quickly.

When we travel we always try to hit all the Guy Fieri "Triple D" restaurants. We were staying with family in Summerlin and found Lola's. Please understand I would give the restaurant a higher rating for food and atmosphere but it was our disinterested and rude waitress that makes me give this place a lower rating. She did not write down our order. I ordered the Roast Beef D Brees po-boy which comes with creole mustard and mayo as well as gravy and a side of french fries Not sure I would like that many toppings, I asked for them to be on the side. The sandwich came out with everything on it. As soon as it was put down I informed the waitress who sighed and said, "Just leave it there," with no apology and then didn't come back. I finally had to ask another server to get her for us (my husband already had his meal as was eating so it wouldn't get cold). When she returned she took my food and said they'd make me another one. I sat for 20 minutes. When it finally came out she delivered it, still with no apology and without the french fries. "Thought I'd get you the sandwich so you could get started," she said. Eventually I had everything and it was very good but having to sit watching my husband eat for nearly half an hour ruined the experience.

Was wanting to visit Lola's ordered the Tasty Shrimp and Grits .Had Oysters on the Grill with Toated Bread liked the Spicy taste of the Food the Service was Great will be back

Everything was amazing! Food was great and so was the service. We had great conversation with some couples around us. Will be going back soon

Enjoyed a very good early dinner after playing golf in Summerlin. Everything we ate was good based upon all the guys comments. Nice selection so you can enjoy almost any southern cuisine.

Went to the Restaurant in Summerlin. It was like being in NOLA....the setting, the food, the hospitality. We had gumbo and grilled oysters followed by a main course and desserts. It was a perfect amount of food for two seniors with a hearty appetite for New Orleans food. We've been to New Orleans many times and this restaurant is as good if not better than many restaurants in NOLA. Don't miss it.

For the price you pay and who they are trying to represent do not say much for what I received. I paid $20 for a table spoon of grits and my fish was half cooked and had bones in it still.

My wife and I dined here on December 19, 2019. We had come here having seen it on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Lola’s is located in a strip mall about 5 miles from the Las Vegas Strip - so I suspect very few tourists actually eat here. That is their loss - since Lola’s serves great Cajun food at costs that are a fraction of what is charged in the tourist area. We shared three items plus the on-tap Andygator Beer which was excellent. We started with the fried okra basket, which was pretty close to perfect - lightly fried, served hot and tasty. Be aware that this a large portion of Okra - easily enough for 3 or 4 people to share. We than shared Lola’s Traditional Jambalaya, which is spicy without being overwhelming. This was also excellent. Finally, we shared the Shrimp Charlotte. This was also excellent. The shrimp were succulent and not overcooked and the pasta was perfect al dente even though it was angel hair which is easy to overcook. We topped this off with a fig infused cookie topped with butter pecan ice cream that was also perfect. This is clearly a place that locals frequent - but anyone visiting and who would like a taste of old New Orleans should put it on their must visit list. Highly Recommended!!

Solid Cajun meal albeit a little salty . Had the oysters to start and then the jambalaya . Both were solid choices . The best part of the meal was the apple bread pudding . It was exceptional .

My fiance and i tried lola's for the first time last night and it was amazing!! The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and very quick. I would go here again. I highly suggest you try this place at least once.

Went there for Crawfish, but found out they only have it on the weekends. Had the catfish which was good. Good service all though crowed at lunch.

Amazing Louisiana style southern food. The shrimp and grits are my go to here. The jambalaya is also excellent! My dad had the crawfish and loved it! The best part of Lola's is the ambiance. It's off the strip and even off the beaten path for downtown. Once you walk inside, you are teleported directly to Louisiana. The Summerlin location is newer and much bigger. Food is equally amazing.

Lola's A Louisana Kitchen!! ! Wow! Why haven't I tried you sooner than this?! Located right off Charleston and the I/15 you will find this hidden gem of a restaurant. I get random invites all the time from clients on these business lunches and I sometimes run out of places to think of to go eat on the spur of the moment. Today was different though I have been craving some Cajun style southern cuisine dishes and thought hmm why not check off this Lola's in my "bookmark" section on Yelp! For starters when you are traveling to this restaurant for the first time pay close attention because it's super easy to drive right past. Look for this small turn in of an entry to the Holsum Bread bakery and Lola's will be right next door. Upon arriving it was to my surprise that they weren't as busy as I had anticipated especially around lunch time! Seated right away?! Score! Our server was awesome and super attentive to us the entire time we were there. I can always appreciate great customer service at restaurants when they make recommendations knowing it's my first visit. Lunch was as followed: Drinks: 2 "Muddy Waters" Pretty much Lemonade & Iced Tea Appetizer: Crab Cake- Lump blue crab, hand-formed with special seasonings. Served on a bed of mixed greens drizzled with a lemon garlic aioli sauce. Blackened Chicken- Served with two sides (country potato salad/Mardi Gras Coleslaw) Bronzed Catfish & Grits- Seasoned and bronzed catfish served over Gouda grits with an Andouille sausage & mushroom ragout. Food total is going to be a 4 out of 5. The crab cake appetizer was so-so I do believe there was too much bread or something in it that took away the crab taste. My client is from the south and knows much about crab cakes and agreed. Overall though, this place definitely didn't disappoint and will return very soon. I was informed on this visit that they also have a Summerlin location which for me would be so much more convenient!

We have been to New Orleans and were looking forward to really good food. The waiter suggested the crawpuppies appetizer so we ordered it. There were 4 tiny balls on a plate with a sauce which was good and spicy but was more of a sample size. We noticed people around us had bread so we asked for some and it was the best part of the meal! It was grilled Italian bread with butter and garlic and it was crunchy and delicious. We had a local beer and glass of wine to compliment our meal and they were good choices. Our meals were shrimp and grits and I ordered the bronzed crawfish addition to my meal. I got 3 small shrimp with small pieces of catfish in an extremely spicy sauce with grits. I like spicy food but this was too much spice! You couldn’t taste anything but spice. It was a really small portion as well. My husband had just shrimp and grits and he felt the same way. The catfish was the other best part of the meal as it was melt in your mouth tender. The waiter said that bronzing was not as spicy as blackened so I would not want to try that knowing how spicy our meal was!

We all (6 people) Decided we wanted Soul Food. However how does one find a good place? You use TripAdvisor!!! The place we chose was Lola’s Louisana kitchen. Number 126 out of over four thousand restaurants in Las Vegas. The food the service was excellent. Even the most picky eaters thoroughly enjoyed their meals! We will return ~

Everything on the menu was to die for. 😋 Of course we didn't eat everything on the menu but we tried. If in Vegas, you have to go. Call for reservations too. Live music 🎶 ♥ Save room for The Bread Pudding. You will love it. ♥️❤

This restaurant has a "down south" atmosphere and menu. Try the Crab Cake on the starters menu. For a location so far from the ocean, it was a pleasant surprise.. I had the Mama's Red beans and Rice and added the extra sausage. It was delicious. Wish we had one in Arizona. Great menu, if you like southern food-like grits for example. Prices were reasonable. For desert, try the bananas foster. Delicious. But they do have " southern type" deserts as well, like Sweet potato pecan pie.

When visiting Vegas, this is a must stop for us. The food is very tasty, good serving portions. Friendly staff very attentive to our needs. Price is right. Best cajun food and all of Vegas.

Better than Granny used to make. Shhhh! Dont tell Mom. The chicken wings were so good. I will definitely order them again next time I'm in Vegas. The place was filled with locals who know all the best places to go.

If you like very hot food that makes your nose run, this place is for you. I don't like spicy food so I did not enjoy my food. I got the Shrimp Fettuccini for $16 and it was spicy and dry. Praline cornbread was crumbly. My husband got the Buttermilk Catfish and he liked his but he likes spicy. My daughter got the shrimp poboy and she was not happy with it. Not only was it too spicy for her, they burned the French bread. On the inside, the place is very tiny so we sat outside. Flies landing on our food and I got bit by an ant. The pictures look great but they are deceiving.

Went with 3 friends for dinner. We had orange bowl salad with chicken, etouffee with shrimp and crawfish, and jambalaya. The portions were just right and so was the spice level. Our waitress, Ruth, was a sweetheart. The Louisiana beer was excellent and the dessert, bread pudding with ice cream, was wonderful. We went to the downtown location and the ambience was not real good. It’s like an old coffee shop but it is clean. Turns out the food and service were so good no one else noticed the decor. It’s pretty representative of the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives joints we love.

Took a break from the crazy Strip (and high priced dinners) and found this DDD place. It definitely could have been on a side street in Lafayette or NO and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the Bronzed Shrimp and Gouda Grits Ruth Andouille and my husband ordered the Roast Beef Poboy with debris (that was the disappointing part). If you don't know what debris is, you would probably be very happy with your sandwich (with gravy), but it wasn't "like home", which is more like au jus with little bits of the roast. The menu had lots of good choices, so for a more "local feeling place", I'd suggest you try it. Also...the fries were EXCELLENT!!

I visited today mainly because I wanted to eat some chargrilled oysters. My lust for chargrilled oysters came about after visiting both dragos and acme in New Orleans 2 years ago. First thing to say is that there are very few places that serve chargrilled oysters in Vegas.. even big al’s at the Orleans doesn’t have them on his menu.. I tried some at oyster house in harrah’s and that was pretty great but pricey. I then found Lola’s and popped by today...first thing to say is that the restaurant feels pretty authentic.. seems like entering through the door and being transported to Louisiana... very cool ambience and the same southern hospitality... the chargrilled oysters were absolutely yummy! I would highly recommend!!!!

I ALWAYS make time for Lola's when we come through Vegas. Best cheesy grits I have ever had. Bread pudding is damn good too! It's off the strip but it's a short Uber or taxi ride away!!!

My husband and I came here for good food at reasonable prices and we weren't disappointed. The service was good and fast. The portions were large and tasty. My etouffee, was good and spicy. My husband's catfish and grits were fabulous. We liked it all and highly recommend it.

I have eaten here several times and try something new each time, and every meal has been exceptional. The food is as good as anything that I have had in New Orleans, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a little off the beaten path, but very much worth it. Every future visit to Las Vegas for me will definitely include a visit to Lola's, maybe even more than one if possible.

As always the food was excellent, unfortunately on this visit it seemed the restuarant was understafffed and it took over an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. The server did her best but was overwhelmed.

My husband and I went here for lunch to see if all the raves were true or not. They were!! Great food and great service. We had three appetizers and one entrée and it was all very yummy! We had the crab cake, oysters, shrimp remolade, and catfish with gouda grits. Best I have had....ever! The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. If I have one complaint is that the prices were a bit steep for the amount of food you get. We had the above mentioned apps and one beer apiece and the bill was over $100.00 but in the end, we agreed that it was worth the price to have such great food!

Lola's is a hidden jewel, off the strip. Great atmosphere and even better food. Shrimp and grits, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, bread pudding....all the favorites. Give it a shot you will love it. Laissez les bon temps rouler!!

Lola’s is an amazing little restaurant near the northern premium outlet mall. It doesn’t look much from the outside, just another strip mall style restaurant. But the menu has some great southern foods, creole, gumbo and Po’ boys. My personal favourite is the crab cakes followed by the Jambalaya and if I have enough appetite left the banana fosters bread pudding! This is definitely a locals favourite and if you go over the weekend, call ahead and check if a table is available. You won’t see many tourists and those you do see will probably be Vegas veterans there on a recommendation.

Amazing. Catfish and grits is amazing. Spicy and perfectly cooked catfish. Ceab and artichoke dip was excellent. Picky daughter ate the entire chicken alfredo. Friendly wait staff.

Overall 4.5/5 Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Value 5/5 I love trying local restaurants when I travel....especially in Vegas as the Strip restaurants tend to be a bit 'too much' after a few days. For those of you who do Vegas regularly, you'll relate fully. :) Food: It's crawfish season so we started with a pound of crawfish. Gumbo is also a staple of Creole food and this one definitely hit the mark. Cornmeal crusted oysters and a blackened chicken alfredo rounded out the meal. The flavors were excellent - enough spice to be noticed but not too much to cause pain. Service: Pretty casual spot. Service was good. Servers were knowledgeable. Value: Prices were excellent - meaning they were NOT Vegas Strip prices. Dinner cost $60 including an appetizer and drink. (Be forewarned: They DO nickel and dime for garnishes/sauces on the side).

We stumbled onto this small DDD gem and are glad we chose to have dinner here. We had a party of 7 friends and we called ahead for reservations. When we arrived we were promptly seated in the small dining room. It was clean, interesting and inviting. There was a fun, energetic atmosphere. Our server was great. She was enthusiastic and helped us choose our appetizers and entrees. The food was so good! Spicy and delicious. Portions and prices were reasonable. The dessert was also fantastic. So many great choices on the menu. You’ll love Lola’s!

My kids show the review on triple D for this place and we have been back a couple of times and have been pleased with the experience each time. Foe the adventurous they do have a selection of interesting brews to sample.

Best Po’ boys in Las Vegas. Bread very fresh flown in daily. We had the Fried Oyster Po’ Boy. Service excellent. One thing I will say, if you’re going to charge an extra $1 for pickles it should be more than 2 the size of a quarter. That was disappointing.

First time visit for us! This was featured in DDD with Guy Fieri! Waitress recommended the best dishes! Our favorite was the shrimp and grits!!! So delicious, we shared the roast sandwich also! Also the waitress recommended the bread pudding for dessert and it was thee best!!!!!

Small off the strip, great menu , terrific food. The shrimp and grits were to DIE FOR. I was not interested in what everybody else had, but if you go there you will NOT BE disappointed. This lady knows how to really cook.

Best soul food , we were lucky no wait , server excellent and meal the best. Chicken and waffles and hubby had chicken and catfish , Mac and cheese and greens . Dessert yummy peach cobbler egg rolls ,

I have met clients and suppliers at Lola’s with good experiences each time. Friendly staff, great fresh seafood dishes especially the gumbo. If you want a comfortable laid back place to talk business you’d be hard pressed to find a more concise by and conducive restaurant.

We had 2 great crab sandwiches. There were 2 crabs in each sandwich. They were both crunchy and tasty sandwiches.

Driving out of the Strip and searching for "mom's&pop's" Our search took us to this little spot, full of great energy with a cuisine that we love. Here are the dishes that we tasted Two Appetizers: Crab Cake, that is served in a bed of greens with an aioli sauce = fantastic fresh blue crab, perfect touch of lemon and garlic on sauce Crawpuppies, awesome little bites to match with a beer while we waited for main course Two Entrées Roast Beef D'brees, a great po'boy with a rich gravy & creole mustard (husband's fave) Grits & Shrimp, perfect blackened shrimps from the grill, resting on a bed of gouda grits, decorated on the edges with andouille sausage . . . impressive! The place started getting busy when we were about to leave, before that all the employees sit by the bar, chatting and we didn't get a chance to order drinks, our first drinks never arrived, and our table wasn't getting any attention. Dishes were getting piled and we didn't even have water .. yikes!
Probably one of the best coffees I’ve ever had
My friends and I love to try local coffee houses when we are in new areas. We found Lola’s and are so happy we did. I usually order a latte (and they looked beautiful) but I decided to ask the barista what she normally orders. She gave me the best advice! I ordered a Cubano with an extra shot of espresso and it was ahhmazing. I was in heaven. Slightly sweet, very smooth coffee heaven. I would highly recommend this charming coffee house.
