Had a taco al pastor (my favorite taco) and the huarachas. Both were vg. It was enough for the 2 of us. The staff was friendly and even gave us a tamale for the road....on them! really cool & unexpected.Thanks. We will return.

My friend found a Groupon for $25 worth of food for $12, which is what drew us to this place. For two of us, $25 went a long ways. I ordered the street tacos with beef. Although the beef was a bit different from other places I've tried, it was very satisfying and tasty. They were very accommodating to us, packing up our extras for us to take home. It also appeared to be very clean in the cooking/kitchen area. Around lunch time it got pretty busy with people who seemed to be returning customers, quickly ordering exactly what they wanted and getting back on their ways, which seemed like a good thing to us. It is Pike Place Market, where everyone is on the go, especially on a holiday weekend, so we felt lucky to find a table to sit and enjoy our food at. Make sure to check this place out if you enjoy this style of food!

Great portions and wonderful flavor on my breakfast burrito. Best Mexican food in the Market! Worth the money.

Had the nachos for lunch and they were awesome! Got nachos and a soda for $10- can't beat the price especially considering how good the food is. I was a little nervous when i saw "mexican street food" on the sign but am so happy that I ate here. HIGHLY recommend while exploring the market.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem within Pike Place and had a very good lunch. The pricing was great, the food was VERY good and tasted authentic, and the service was quick and the staff (while very busy) was top notch. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by for a quick bite. Got the pork tamale with verde salsa and an al pastor taco. If you are in pikes place, definitely stop in for a full meal or just a snack. Some of the best Mexican we've had!

I ordered 4 tacos from here: 2 chicken, one pork and one beef. Instead, I received two beef and two pork. I asked for spicy on a pork and chicken and non spicy for the beef and chicken. All of them were super spicy that I couldn’t even eat them and gave them all to my husband. I also had to drink a whole glass of water before I recovered. The prices were good but I wasn’t happy with the tacos or the service.

I had the tacos for lunch, and they were delicious. It was a little hard finding a seat, but I suppose this adds to the "street" ambiance. This is also a good place to grab a quick bite.

It was ok. I got an Al Pastor bowl. The biggest disappointment was the guacamole. It was not house made! The Al Pastor was pretty good but the “guacamole” kind of ruined it.

Good variety, good prices and tasted very good. Highly recommend this place when you are out shopping the market!

I wanted some authentic Mexican Street Food so I went to experience this restaurant since they are known for offering traditional Mexican street food. I ordered the chicken tamales and beef street tacos. I wasn't impresed with the street tacos at all meat was overcooked/dry and under seasoned while topped with watery tomatoes. However the chicken tamales were great wrapped in banana leaves and packed with great flavor with a small kick of spice. I would recommend the chicken tamales over the street tacos all day long. Also I was surprised to see no mask being worn by the gentleman working the counter when mask were being worn throughout the entire pier and market area. But again the chicken tamale was great , but the street taco needs some work.

Based on all the rave reviews we'd heard, we tried take-out on two occasions and were disappointed - possibly the worst nachos I've had in downtown (the 2nd time, we didn't eat more than a few bites before throwing it away), the beef was rubbery and bland. Honestly, it felt like they use the cheapest ingredients. Taquiera Cantina which is about 15 min walk away does mexican food far better.

$6 including tax for an excellent breakfast burrito that was all made fresh and hot. Nice and spicy with tons of flavor. Great flavors and friendly service. Highly recommended for a quick bit at the market.

My wife and I were searching the very busy market for a breakfast option before my better half got HANGRY! The huevos rancheros were fresh, the service was quick and very pleasant. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic quick bite! Gracias!

I stopped here because I wanted to try some Mexican food that looked less like Taco Bell. I had some tasty pork tacos w/ pineapple in them, for only $2 each! Also, their Mexican hot chocolate (I forget what it's called), was delicious! The rest of the menu looked good as well, but I was on a sampling mission for lunch. Don't come here if you want Taco Bell style "Mexican" food. Almost 5 stars!

This little stand has better Mexican food than you get at many (substantially more expensive) restaurants. Seating is limited and the market can get crowded so consider taking your food elsewhere if it's busy.

We went here as part of a food tour, so only tried the tacos. Being from Texas I can say they are real and authenic - not TexMex, but Mexico authenic. No glob of cheese or sour cream or salsa, just a simple street taco.

This was a stop on the Savor Seattle food tour I took. We sampled the beef street taco with guacamole. The meat had a little bit to eat, but the guac cooled it down perfectly. Check this place out! Thanks for being part of the food tour!

This little family-run stand can be a bit tricky to find but it’s worth the effort! It’s in the Pike Place Market building, across the street from Rachel, the life-size bronze piggy bank (be sure to rub her nose and make a donation to a worthy cause for good luck!), tucked away behind two fish markets and the Three Sisters Bakery. We shared a very tasty breakfast burrito ($10). Los Agaves is on Dosh, which gave me 5% cash back as well as on the Dining Rewards network so you can double-dip rewards.

we ran across this little spot trying to navigate through Pike Place Market. There was a small line. They were very quick with my food and it was delicious. I had the lunch burrito and it was huge! Definitely held me over until dinner. Tip: be sure to put a tip in the tip jar and make sure they see you do it. I was people watching and noticed that people got their food even quicker if they tipped.

In Seattle across the street from the main Pike Place Market is this hidden little food place. It's very small. You walk up, place your order and watch them prepare your food rigt in front of you. Their are only a few stools to sit on. This is a perfect place to get some food on the go.

We purchased a Groupon for this place for our visit before our cruise out of Seattle. It is located in the heart of Pikes Market. very small eatery with a few tables and chairs. You can get 3 yummy street tacos for $5 and they were great!! The employees were very friendly and service was quick. I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

I stopped by for an early dinner (they close around 5 or 6, like many things in the market) and ordered one of the pork tacos with pineapple, one carne asada taco, and a bottled water. The tacos were small, but only $2 each, and the bottled water was $1. I grabbed some produce from a nearby stand and headed to the green space a block over for an awesome $10 dinner-with-a-view. Can't beat that! I thought both tacos were very tasty and fresh. I definitely recommend!

Authentic Mexican cuisine, off the beaten path. Fare prices, and good tasting burrito. Got the breakfast burrito with sausage, and YUM!!! Homemade sausage was great! Located right next to Jack's Fish Spot (on the left). Typical burrito was $8-10.

I'd heard good things about the street tacos so I ducked in to give them a try. Fortunately they weren't busy but it still took too long to receive my food...since they lost the order. Luckily I had my receipt. After getting my tacos I had to ask for my agua fresca. Makes one wonder how it works if they are busy. The tacos were adequate, not amazing. There are many taco trucks that have great tacos and you don't have to try that hard to find them or parking. If you are at Pike Place and have to have a taco, Los Agaves won't be the best you've had but will get you by.

Stumbled upon this place while walking through the market after already eating lunch elsewhere. But the fresh smell of salsa and corn and Mexican spices got me hungry all over again. Food was freshly made and the staff was helpful with recommendations. Food was flavourful and every mouthful was delicious and full of refreshing taste. Definitely worth a quick lunch or a visit for takeaway.

Never had a pupusa but really liked it: Corn tortilla filled with Chicharron (Fried pork) and cheese, served with slaw. Very tasty and not too spicy.

I overheard a tour guide explaining how the owner of Los Agaves waited 10 years on the waiting list to open a restaurant at Pike Place. Also how he was a resident of Mexico City who wanted to share authentic Mexican food with Seattle. I had decided to have a chicken lunch burrito. This thing was huge and very tasty. The folks there were very polite and friendly.

We stopped here today for brunch. We had the breakfast taco bowls and oh my they were incredible!! We can’t wait to come back. It was affordable and delicious. 😋

Stopped here for a quick bite of delicious Mexican "street food". Had the tamale with chicken and mole sauce. The mole was divine and the tamale itself was delicious. A tad rich with the sauce but enjoyed every bite.

We enjoyed the huevos rancheros, a breakfast burrito, and an icy, creamy horchata. The servers were fast and friendly. We found a table right away and were able to sit to eat our breakfasts; it seems that things turn over fast and others didn't wait long before finding places to sit either.

Before boarding the cruise ship, we were looking for a place that opened early and offered a breakfast that would fill you up at a decent price. This is the place. It is a small area but don't let that fool you. My kids ordered breakfast burritos (19 and 16) and my wife the Chilaquiles. The prices have risen some since that picture was taken of their menu. Most items are around $12. You won't leave hungry, they get the food to you quickly and it is good.

Don't miss this place on Post Alley in Pike Pace Market. May be the best tamale in Seattle, the tacos were very good too. Good for a quick lunch, at the market & prices are a real value.

I had the street tacos with beef and a beef huarache to share with my sister. I love Mexican taquitos, and these tacos tasted like the ones we have had in Michoacán and Tamaulipas, Mexico. Their salsa had a great kick (pica) to it. The huarache was like an oblong gordita with beef, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, fresh cheese, and beans on it. Yum yum. Their salsa added to the authentic taste of these items. The price was awesome for what you get. Initially, my sister did not want to have Mexican food in Seattle, but she had to eat her words as we gobbled on the most authentic tasting tacos in Seattle. Do try Los Agaves, and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

I was in Seattle (this trip) for 4 days, and I ended up having breakfast here twice. (Not typical behavior for my personality!) Highlights of Los Agaves -Ambience - Now this is HIGHLY SUBJECTIVE, however, I love the pulse and energy of Pike's Market, so I enjoy sitting amidst the action. -Service - Fantastic people own/run this little spot, and they are great at noticing their regulars -Huevos Rancheros with Chorizo - Not to be missed :) -Value - Very Affordable and well worth it -Negatives? None

I've seen this place a few times coming to Seattle. Well today we decided to stop and try this and and it was amazing! I had the Ceviche and it was fantastic. The only think I didn't like about it that they put it on a bed of lettuce, but I worked my way around it. I also had the Pork Tamale with the Salsa Verde sauce. It was really good as well. The verde was nice and spicy! Awesome place and will for sure go back.

Executive Chef Jaime Mendez has really nailed the quintessential Pike Place Market food experience with fresh, home-made ingredients. The menu options are just right with my favorite selections being : Fresh made tamales with banana leaves; marinated pork tacos cooked in a vertical broil with salsa and fresh pineapple; grilled beef steak; huevos rancheros with a homemade corn tortilla, fresh salsa and choice of meat; a breakfast burrito with 3 fried eggs, flour tortilla, chorrizo and cheeses (only $7 bucks); and of course his award-winning ceviche! The prices are extremely reasonable. You MUST give Los Agaves a try. And while you are there say high to Jaime, Alfredo and Catalina - you will love them!

The food is expensive for what you get, and very tastless. Yes, is a fast food place, apparently autherntic mexican. I have travelled through mexico for a year, and never had food like this. Very rushed, they were hurrying us to vacate the table outside, before we had finished. No smiles, or good customer service. would not go again, there are plenty of other better places nearby...

Very good classic Latin restaurant on the go in a Point of Sale where there are many tourist catches. Nothing exceptional but reasonable Awards for home cooked food. Nice service. One of the best value for money Fish Market Award.

I just returned from three weeks in Central Mexico. Walking through the market the words, 'Mexican Street Food' caught my eye. I was skeptical but approached the counter. In true Mexican fashion the staff is reserved and modest but informative if things look new to you. I had the chicken tamale in mole sauce. I also had a single taco with carne asada. $6 and I was stuffed! The hot sauce was more flavorful than truly spicy. All and all a very pleasant surprise of authentic, filling, and cheap! I'll be back.

Was looking for a quick, inexpensive, gluten free lunch at or near the market and found this place. It is across the street from the market. The gluten free options are limited to only one menu item for breakfast and lunch. I was here at lunch time so I had the los agaves taco bowl with chicken for $10. It was very good and filing. Note that I wouldn't recommend if you have gluten allergy but it worked for me. There is a few places to sit or you can grab it and take to the park area.

Small counter inside with small Mexican "street food menu". Foot was outstanding. I loved the addition of shredded pineapple on the pork taco, and my tamale was tender and almost creamy. My husband enjoyed his heurache. Everything is a good value, and you can choose chicken, beef, pork, or even beef tongue for many of them. The horchata (rice milk with cinnamon and vanilla) was just terrific. Service was friendly and fast, and you can either eat at the small tables or get take out. Look for Los Agaves at street level across the street from the long market building behind a large fruit vendor. Or, look for the strangely fascinating busking elderly blues singer who "plays" a paper cup like a trombone. They are right behind him.

My husband and i shared a breakfast chorizo burrito for breakfast. It was really good and they make their own chorizo. It was really good and would return. Friendly service as well.

Los Agaves is a little street food restaurant across from the main Pike Place Market. It's located within the market area, directly across from the fish throwers. The street tacos are made with the smaller corn tortillas and are filled with deliciousness. At $2.00 each, it's a great bargain. The nachos look fantastic, although I did not have the chance to eat them yet; next trip. The customer next to me had the huevos rancheros and said they were fabulous! All the prices are reasonable so if you are looking for a inexpensive place to eat at the market that is not fish and authentic, try Los Agaves ~ doubt you will regret it! Seating is limited.

The different array of dishes was what attracted me to their taco stand. They have huaraches, nachos, tacos, horchata, etc. I loved the big portions, and the presentation of all their food. The cashier with the tattoos was so sweet and recommended different dishes for us to try. The food was ready in a jiffy which is good since space/tables are very limited. I liked how they chopped the meat to smaller portions but I felt it to be too fatty/chewy. I would have preferred more meat substance.

Delicious el pastor tacos with pineapple. Nachos are fake cheese, if that's what you like, go for it. Great to pair with other food in the market. Line can get long, target during low traffic meal times throughout the day.

My wife and I visit Pike Place Market at least once a week but somehow missed this place for several months. We stumbled upon it a few weeks ago and have now eaten here twice. Having now tried several menu items I can honestly say that the food is as close to the real deal as can be found in Seattle. My favorite menu item is the beef tongue tacos (also my favorite street food when we're in Mexico) but everything we have tried has been delicious. Three tacos cost $5 and are worth twice that or more. Jaime and his staff are attentive, prompt and accomodating. I would give them more than 5 stars if i could. Eat here soon!

Quick service. Clean location. A variety of food offerings we had the tacos and they were very good. I believe they were the best in the market.
Delish!
Ordered the carne asada tacos & al pastor tacos & both were amazing! There was so much meat in the tacos I couldn't even close it. Flavorful & so good! Highly recommend!
