We used to visit Los Ranchos in The Falls many years ago, because we were addicts, as far as Churrasco is concerned, and we could find no better Churrasco than at Los Ranchos. Not to mention that their Chimmichurri sauce is Tops! The restaurant was laid out differently then, from the way it is at present. However, the main reason we stopped patronizing it was because they had raised their wine prices to $9.00 per glass, when everyone else in town was charging $4.50 to $6.00 for the same article . What brought us back was an invitation from a friend to share a 50% off coupon he'd acquired somewhere. Well - were we surprised! It appears there's been a change at Los Ranchos! Not an enormous change, but a tasteful change - with more professional, upscale service, and an interior that invites the eye to roam rather than concentrate solely on one's table and friends, due to the uncomfortable proximity to the surrounding, noisy patrons! Of course, because we were enjoying a 50% off eve, I ordered something a bit more expensive; little petite medallions of beef. These were sooooo good, that I still think about them! To top it off, the wine was only $7.50 per glass, which seemed cheap compared to our earlier, off-putting experience! The accompaniments to the meal (beans, rice, plantains, etc.) were also excellent - though customary. But they seemed to be cooked more nearly to perfection. We are now quite eager to return to Los Ranchos in The Falls, because we are certain that an exquisite dining experience awaits us!

The staff was friendly, the food was acceptable and the prices reasonable. The amount of food was scarce and the choices were limited. Cleanliness was the main issue.

Writing this review while I’m in the restaurant. Here celebrating my brother’s 45th birthday. Our group was 40 people and our server was Alex. She was AMAZING! The orders were accurate, we all ate relatively at the same time. Kudos to the kitchen. No mistakes! Friendly staff but definitely ask for Alex, she’s on point! Don’t forget to order the Presidente Churrasco. It is BUTTER!

My friend and I visited Los Ranchos, thinking that we were going to have a mexican experience. The resturant was clean but the food was not the best. The salad was equal to what you get in the bags at the grocery store. My friend ordered a Pina Colado drink, thinking that it was going to have a little bit of a punch. He commented that it was equal to a standard milk shake. The waiter seemed a little disturbed that we did not take his advice and order a more expensive meal. We left very disappointed. Maybe someday we will visit another location.

Service was absolutely terrible even though the place was half empty. I had to get up from the table to request a waiter. The portions were extremely small. I did not care to have gallo pinto or fried green plantains. I asked if I could instead have some extra fried plantains. The waiter said "of course", but I never saw him again. Someone else brought me the check. The food was poorly seasoned. A very disappointed experience. We used to visit Los Ranchos at the Falls and in Coral Gables many years ago, this far very far from what it used to be.

The food was so/so. The place is expensive, My family and I placed our food and had to wait approx 30min for bread!!! And if your american GOOD LUCK ON SERVICE like we did. Go else where.

This oldie but goodie restaurant recently reopened in a new location in the Falls. It did not disappoint, with high quality cut of meet churrasco steak and chicken (compared to other competitors). Great location with nice ambiance - would highly recommend this over any of the chain restaurants nearby serving manufactured food. Taco appetizer is just enough to get your tastebuds going - keep it up Los Ranchos.

Very disappointed! The Emerald Fish was tough, I told them & nothing was done or offered. I bought a $30 Groupon & the manager told me I couldn't use it because I had a Happy Hour wine. I explained I could have just bought it at the bar if I knew this & he still said NO. I told them I would pay the regular amount for the wine & use the Groupon. Last week I brought a party of 8 & this week a party of 10 but no more with this kind of treatment.

No va if you can help it! My good friend raved about his place but I was not impressed. Went at lunch time and the place was hardly crowded. Me thinks that's a bad sign for a restaurant. (It didn't help that my friend could not "Yelp" it standing right outside the front door of the place after we left. Some message about being too far away. LOL) My steak was okay. I was served a sausage which was old and dried out. This was brought to the attention of the server but there were no more sausages available. Had to settle for the fried cheese which I found delicious. Not sure how that sausage made it to my plate but wondering if someone thought the "gringo" wouldn't notice it. Save your money and go somewhere else. There's definitely plenty of other restaurants to chose from in Miami!

A friend and I were planning on going somewhere else to eat, but we were close by Los Ranchos and I I thought we'd try it. The place was full, to be certain, but there seemed to be plenty of staff. We were seated right away after some confusion about where we should be seated by the maitre d'. I ordered the churrasco plate and ordered an order of shrimp to go with it, plus a beer. Bread was soon brought by another staff, then the drinks by another, then soon the meal came, but no shrimp. A few moments later the waitress came back and said to me that my shrimp was on its way. The churassco was delicious! The gallo pinto (rice and beans) was good as well, but no shrimp. I expected the waitress to come back at some point, but she never came throughout our entire meal, not to see if we'd like another drink or anything else. Finally, we're finished eating, and the manager comes by our table to ask how our meal was. I said great, except I never got my shrimp, nor was there any opportunity to ask again for them, since the waitress only mentioned in passing that they were coming that one time. He acted like he was going to do something about it, he asked the waitress about it, she claimed she "didn't hear me" She never wrote down our order, so there's no evidence whatsoever about what we ordered. The manager then went off and never came back to address the issue. Mistakes are made, but they did not make me feel that they really gave a damn. I won't go back, no matter how good the food is.

Excellent steaks; nice atmosphere and service. Side dishes were also good. The chimichurri sauce was good.

First I want to say I come to Los Ranchos about 3 - 4 times a year so I know what I should be expecting. The food was good, not great just good. Service is very lacking. Our waitress had no personality. She did the minimum that what was expected but nothing more. Normally there are people that bring your rice and plantains and you tell them how much or how little you want, except this time there was no one doing that and a very small portion of rice was given. By the time my waitress came around I was already filled up so there was no point. Also they normally they have people to fill up your water and even there they seemed short and the girl doing that was very slow. This Los Ranchos is lacking in many things but most of all SERVICE.

This restaurant has been in this location for years. We visited it many years ago and didn't like it. This time we were at The Falls and decided to go there just because... The garlic bread was mostly dry. The Fried Cheese was thin, too crispy, rubbery and too salty. The "Vuelve a la Vida" Ceviche with lime/tomato/cilantro sauce tasted like "sofrito". The Beef Medallions were good but the bacon in which they were wrapped was undercooked and slimy. The Baby Churrasco was tiny for the price - baby means small but this one was a newborn baby. We refused to order dessert or coffee and bring the evening to a close. There are plenty of places in Miami to eat rice, beans and plantains; and there are also great steakhouses - I personally don't see a reason to give this place another try. Something interesting is that the check gives you the suggestion of starting tipping at 18% (not 15%). Outrageous! - taking into consideration that our waiter was not even close to being friendly - he just went through the motions.

first time visiting the place had a very bad experience. i ask a request to the manager he was very unprofessional and rude don't know how to treats customers he should be working in McDonald's is a shame he doesn't know that the business stay open because of the customers .stay away from this place.

We were a party of 15 and reserved a table. The good news is that we had a table, the bad news that it was in a high traffic area. The waiter came to us in a reasonable amount of time and received our drinks but had to ask various times regarding our appetizer for the table. Upon ordering they were pushing the presidential skirt cut which was 10 dollars more then there regular cut but said it would be more tender( not really) because we ordered one just to compare. The service was slow, unorganized and wrong. This chain is popular in Miami for Nicaraguan cuisine and I have been to Nicaragua and the food here is average. Not as good as it used to be, but be cautious of the waiters suggestions as well as specials. Enjoy.

So I was Christmas shopping and decided to eat lunch, I looked on line for lunch specials and ran across Los Ranchos at the Falls happy hour. It clearly states on line and on their menu that some drinks and some appetizers are available for happy hour from "open to 7 pm." So being the responsible drinker I am I plopped down at the bar and ordered. Only to be told by the bartender that they would not honor their own advertisment and their own menu! I said "huh." I asked the bartender to show the manager the verbage that states the HH clearly and she said " Nope, don't care, not honoring it". I was dumbfounded. Not even an apology like, "I'm sorry that changed and the website and new menus aren't in" lol! Whatever, they completely dismissed me and the advertisement like no biggie. I walked by the restaurant very often, since I am regularly at the falls, and now it has become extremely obvious why they are always half empty. Be warned.

The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were great! We had a wonderful time. I had the filet tips and my husband churrasco.

The best los Ranchos location of them all. We celebrate our kids' birthdays there with family and friends and this place makes me proud of our Nicaraguan cuisine.

The food was good...but service was slooow and terrible!! Best part is that they werent even busy, so that cant be used as an excuse! This place used to be very good...don't know what happened...but they need to change otherwise they will go out of business just like the Coral Gables location!

A good place to go for a Nicaraguan flavor applied to a steakhouse. The churrasco is excellent, tender and flavorful and the baby churrasco is plenty even for a large man.

We went there on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant had just a few tables. It took forever for food and drinks to come out. From start to finish, our lunch took over 2 hours. The steaks were good, however, the wait and service were not worth it. Also, there were fruit flies everywhere. I will never return.

Had dinner at Los Ranchos over 25 times. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more flavorful, tender, reasonably-priced churrasco than their churrasco. Best chimichurri anywhere. Service is good.

My teens and I love this restaurant for the great flavour, , the homemade chimmichurri, and the polite and friendly servcice.

Very simple to describe, what everyone wants, good food and service, not to expensive and nice decoration. Right in the falls when u need a good meal, this is a fantastic place to eat any time, i very recommend this place, for sure I ll be back again.

After arguing for nearly an hour on the best place for Latin American food in a place you will feel confident about eating without contracting a food borne illness, everyone agreed on Los Ranchos. Some recommended another place that offered the same great tasting food at a fraction of the cost, so we went there first. We pulled up to the parking lot on the backside of this strip mall and we had the complete view of the kitchen area... That was all it took for my wife. I didn't see any nets on the cook's head and the stove looked, well, unclean along with the garbage bag on the floor and standing water. Off to LR. The table ordered a variety of things from chicken soup to steaks. The steaks were absolutely delicious and tender. We sacrificed price for a clean looking environment, presentation and confidence. You could create your own plate of different proteins. The sangria was a nice compliment to our meal. Pricey!

One of the best steaks I have ever eaten! Very tender. The service and the rest of the food was great

Love the new location it's fresh and very modern decor. They are still in the same shopping center but moved from their previous local of over 25 years to the other end of the complex next to Bloomingdale's. Their Medallion steaks are great; two beef medallions of 3 oz each have a great mushroom gravy.and are very tasty. Their Churrasco which comes in three sizes is very tender and juicy. But my favorite here is the Gallo Pinto rice which they serve as much as you want with fried plantains chips or fried sweet plantains.

The quality of this place has decreased over the past years. The service is not friendly nor attentive, it made us want to leave without even getting our food. The quality of the food just felt cheaper and small, not worth the price.

I went to Los Ranchos with my family, PARTY OF 5, here is one of the worse experiences ever around: 1. Reservation was for 7:30 pm. Table was ready around 8:15. 2. I was "showered" by one of the waitress who was carrying such a large tray with refreshments that he could not maintain equilibrium. There I was, sitting, soaked from head to toes!! 3. The guy came with a napking, "dried" my seat and bye bye!! The floor was all wet, the chair still was wet. I went to the bathroom too try to dry myself. No way, there was hand dryer!!!!! Only hand paper... 4. Finally, I understood it may have been an accident. Anyways, they "push" so much their people, try to receive so many people, tables are jammed together, that this kind of things may happen. This means they have a very poor restaurant administration!!! 5. The food: Terrible. We ordered "tacos". Tacos are an excellent mexican food. In this case, it was only a "trotilla" with beef inside. Only, that´s all. Beef was tremendously hard, no way to eat it. I returned back the tacos. They offered something else biut, at this stage of the journey, i did not want to eat anything else. Still soaked and trying to behave in a decent way. 6. After inquiring several times about my daughters soup, waitresss comes and says, sorry there is no more soup. Everyone had already finished dining and my 10 tr ol daughter still waiting. 7. Decided to leave: it took about 20 mins to leave. They brought the bill and the soup plus taco were charged. Returned back the bill. Waitress came with a new bill and the soup & tacos still in the bill. Finally, the third attempt was OK. They included a 15% discount in my bill. This is not about a discount on a $100 bill. It related to the whole unfortunate experience. They simply spoiled our dinner, my clothes and.... ¿WHAT? ¿SOMEONE IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT CARED???? ANSWER : ABSOLUTELY NO.

The worst service ever lights are too bright and no manager in site ,after going for many years don't think I'll be returning soon

I've been going to Los Ranchos since I first discovered them in the late-1980s. The quality and flavor of the churrascos remain fantastic. Just the right amount of garlic bread to start the meal, followed by a simple but flavorful salad. You are provided with three different condiments (chimichurri, criolla, and an onion/jalapeno mix) for your entree. The gallo pinto is excellent. My only complaint is they only provide two small pieces of maduros, but perhaps that's just as well to not overeat. Service is usually excellent, and never worse than "just average." I wish they still had the fuzzy menus, but I guess things change with the times.

My family visited from Tampa, and decided on trying this place. The food was horrible my steak was old, I believe it had been temperature abuse, got food poisoning. The manager didn't seem to concern. I would never visit and won't recommend.

We stopped here on a whim. Visiting the area before a cruise - the hostess was very friendly and offered a menu for us to review, followed by her own comments and suggestions. We decided to give it a try. Average menu and everything comes with salad, bread, rice and plantains. The rice & beans had me hooked. While this is a steakhouse I had shrimp scampi and my friend had fish. Portions were not extremely large, but you fill up on the rice!!! Nice views as it's on the second level of the shopping center and overlooks the water.

I always go there to have lunch with my colleagues. The food is delicious, the churrasco, a steak like meat, is so tender and juicy. At lunch you could get a small portion for a very reasonable price and they also offered imported wines. Even the bread is so yummy. Love this place😋

The restaurant is very nice. You can sit outdoors or inside the restaurant. I went with my clients to celebrate the sale of their home. We ordered churrasco PRESIDENTE and gallo pinto We also had fried cheese and plantains. The waiter was amazing. He would check on us all the time and would refill our glasses. For dessert we had the house flan. I highly recommend Los Ranchos Steakhouse

We purchased a Groupon and decided to try this restaurant again for the first time in many years. There were very few customers last night and it was a little bit warm inside because the restaurant is open to the Falls shopping center. Service was excellent and the food was fabulous. With the Groupon it’s an excellent bargain. The baby Churrasco was delicious, the rice and beans and plantains and plantain chips come with the meal. And it includes a very nice small house salad. There is an up charge for the manchego cheese being sprinkled on top though. Will definitely return.

A restaurant for everyone who likes steak and/or Latin food. Entree's come with a salad, moros rice & sweet plantains but you can substitute fries or baked potatoes. Also have good seafood entrees.

Excellent meat, first, Top quality. Excellent service and reasonable pricing. Great Location at The Falls Shopping Center. Very clean location and good accomodations.

Good but not excellent food. The tostones are made in house and delicious. The churrasco is not very good, but the fish is. Great hospitable bar.

The taste of the food was great, the place found it a little"dirty" the waiter like in a rush and the place was not even half full. We had a Churrasco and the taste was good, as well as the rice with beans. The glass of wine serving size is above the average.

First of all let me say that I do not like places that practice gratuities. It's as if they are so sure of themselves that there is little room or need for improvement. That would be alright with me if it were true in all circumstances. However, I blame myself for being mildly surprised that a 9% gratuity was afixed to the check, as I didn't carefully peruse the menu at the beginning of the experience. Anyway, whatever taste that lingered from an uninspiring meal was immediately washed away by the gratuity. The food left a lot to be desired. The steak was tender (at medium rare) but tasteless, and I find it difficult to understand how anything prepared on a grill or open flame could ever be tasteless. like the steak, the sides of red beans and rice were bland. In fact, about the only thing with flavor at the table was the chimichuri sauce.

I busted this place for the first time after a busy week at work. Unlike other reviews, my waiter was good. He asked several times how are things. The steak was average. Better definitely exists within the price range. However, at the end of the meal, a roach was crawling on the wall at my table. We sat near the kitchen and maybe that's why but when there is one, there are always more. The two managers were apologetic and comped our meal (appreciated) but I wouldn't go back. I wish I saw it at the beginning because I would have left.

We dined here on my husband's birthday. Although the steak was good, the service and the cleanliness of the place in general was nowhere near our expectations. Don't keep your expectations too high. Enjoy your experience...

This is a great restaurant for people of all ages and has a great location

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was tranquil and sophisticated. I wish the hostess had crayons to color on the white paper.

Its rare nowadays to find good reliable service, but this place has it. The Churrasco steak was definitely the best I've had in quite some time, tender and lightly chimichurri flavored. I ordered a side of Jalapeno sauce which was amazing (the whole table kept passing it around) and Dessert was a rich Tres Leches....again the best we've had in Miami. We'll continue to visit, no doubt!

Mouth-watering steaks served with a bevy of sauces - what's not to love? This is one of our favorites. We only get up this way every few months but it's always good and the service is five star. Don't fill up on bread! You'll want to finish that churrasco!

Good all around Nicaraguan steakhouse. The newer presidential cut is flavorful and tender. Surprised by service attentive and informed as to drinks.

Daniel was our server, he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive, polite , pleasant with a friendly manner. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked !!! We celebrated Valentine's Day with family and had a wonderful time

Almost everyone in our party ordered the Churasco, which is a marinated skirt steak. We started off with Sangria, which tasted like fruit punch mixed with cheap wine. They bring a carafe of it, according to the waiter "pre mixed" and served with glasses of ice with canned fruit cocktail laying on the ice before they pour. Totally gross. The salads were very basic. Just a handfull of greens, a slice of tomato and some onion slivers with vinegar and lemmon juice on top. Again, totally gross. But the churasco was very good. I suggest ordering a little rarer than you like, so if you like med rare, order it rare. Even though my med rare was cooked medium well, it was still tender and full of flavor. Served with sides of bland rice and red beans with fried plantains. So once you get past the lame salad and if you don't order the Sangria, the churasco is pretty good. One person in our party ordered the grilled chicken (chicken churasco) and it was as flavorless as the rice.

We’ve now sat here for 30 minutes and have just got our drinks. It’s got about 6 tables of people so it’s not busy. They have a dangerous lack of understanding of English. I asked if they had gluten-free bread and an older woman brought me the same bread as my husband had been served- just without butter. On checking in Spanish they confirmed it WASN’T gluten-free. I was also told the only thing I could order was a plain steak- oddly it was the most expensive steak on the menu 😖. I asked why I couldn’t have grilled fish. He said it’s done in breadcrumbs. I asked if it came in like that and he said no! I asked if they could just grill it without the breadcrumbs and he said he’d request it. 45 mins it took to be delivered with a meal that was very below the quality it should have been. My husband’s ribs were very overdone and dry and the side salad was tiny. My fish was so over cooked it was crispy and dry. The vegetables weren’t even properly defrosted and we’re too hard to eat. It’s hard to get such a simple meal so wrong. The food was cheap but what’s the point if it’s nigh on inedible.

We arrived to Los Ranchos with a reservation for a large group. We were seated immediately, but from that moment forward it went downhill. We didn’t get a waiter come take our drink order, therefore my husband had to go to the bar himself and order/pay for our tables drinks himself. To get bread and water brought to table was very slow. Our order took very long and was all cold when brought out. The jalapeño sauce for the tenderloin tips was soupy and not spicy. They didn’t bring out all sides adequately. We asked to speak to a manager, Oscar Matus, and he didn’t do anything to remedy the situation. We will not be coming back to Los Ranchos at The Falls! Very poor service!

This place never disappoints...from the antojitos (appetizers), main course, wine selection and dessert their famous "tres leches", all an amazing and delicious dinner. This restaurant is located inside the Falls Shopping mall (close to Brio but in the inside of the mall. The service is excellent, professional and friendly. I like their new location much better. We love this place and their food!

We had reservations for a group of 7, watched as they gave our table away. Female argued with me that it wasn't our table, They then proceed to try & cram us into a booth for 6, big problem no one brought an extra chair to sit 7th person at end of table. Requested the manager who had been avoiding the situation, when came she was pleasant & told us to give her 5 minutes. She did get us an adequate table & told us that she'd take car of us & that the person that was left with no chair's meal would be on the house. Kitchen missed on 2 baby churasco steaks medium was medium rare & medium well was well done to resembling a shoe sole, It took them forever to get right the temperature steaks back to us. The managers promise of a free meal & taking care of us amounted to $10.00 off & billing us for meal she said they would comp. She disappeared at this point. NO customer service & way too many attitudes from the staff.

First no Ice tea, then when I asked if the "mild" jalapeno sauce could be made more picante I was told no but the worst is that for the four of us not one of the entries was proerly cooked, each one was over cooked, also the "tips" on the menu turned out to be just a piece of streak cut in to odd pieces.

This restaurant is a regular for us. We really enjoy the grilled chicken, pork or steak. Have been coming to this place for years.

The steaks are worth the price of admission, but the sides are limited. The garlic toast is dry and flavorless. The beans, rice and plantains taste like beans, rice and plantains--but no better than that at local fast food eateries. The night I was there, a strolling mariachi band was making too much noise for the foursome at our table to visit as we had wanted.

My family and I have been patrons of Los Ranchos restaurants for twenty years. With that, I tell you that we've seen their standard of service decline throughout the same time. Maybe it's because their popularity is such that they just don't care anymore or their immature and untrained staff, or both. On Saturday February 25th, my family and I decided to go to the Falls location to celebrate my grandmother's 100th birthday. The total party size was six. The place was very busy however the girl acting as a hostess advised a forty minute wait. We agreed and waited, and waited and waited. At the one hour mark, I asked about our table. She said they were waiting on a party to pay. As people were approaching for tables, she kept telling them 40 minutes. You clearly saw her and her staff overwhelmed as they did not know how to handle that type of crowd. Others complained and they simply just ignored them. At the one hour and thirty minute mark and after telling me that I was next, she bypassed us twice. When confronted, she had no words. I then confronted the supervisor Max which while all of this is going on, he is simply pacing the floor as if everything was smooth. Mind you, tables had been vacated and not prepped for the next party as it appeared no one wanted to clean. FYI Max, you should lead by example. Upon advising Max of the circumstances, he offered me to wait some more until he could sit us along with free desserts. REALLY MAX ? I'm about to drop about four hundred bucks plus on dinner and after telling you how your staff is behaving, you offer me free dessert. Los Rancho's food is without a doubt good however their service simply sucks. I left the restaurant without being served as by this time we were approaching two hours and that is completely unacceptable. The leadership displayed was dismal at best. Unfortunately, they will not be seeing our family anytime in the near future.

Attending training all week and this place was very consistent and dependable for great service and solid latin foods.

Had a dinner party for 45 persons (30 teens and 15 adults)--staff came through 100%. But this review is instead about our dining experiences during visits that predate the dinner party. My wife (surprise) joined us (me and my son) for dinner. But we were already at a 2 person table and been served drinks. The staff moved us effortlessly, and with neither hesitation, nor attitude. They were happy to make it happen. Throughout dinner, the waiter and server visited enough that every small and large thing we wanted got taken care of. The appetizer salad is not large, but it is consistently the perfect salad dressing. The staff brings bread to each patron, and any additional bread you request they give without any problem. The entrée of choice is the churasco, a steak. Many others order the fish. The family and friends at other dining times I’ve had at Los Ranchos always order the same item time and time again. This is because they love to repeat the dish they’ve found that makes them happy. Once the entrée is served, the staff brings platters of rice and beans, as well as banana chips, and put as much on your plate as you wish. Even if you finish all that, or don’t, you can ask for more. The traditional desert, tres leches, is a simple piece of cake drenched in sweetened milk. There are other deserts. Oh my! Located at the Falls shopping center, an unusual place because it is not enclosed, and there is a man made waterway. Tremendous amount of construction at The Falls, contributing to a sense of bedlam on the roadways, and desparation when looking where to park. This location is frequented by persons living in Kendall, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. Very nice during the day; at night the place does show its elegant side. As suggested before, the success of this restaurant turns very much on the consistency. You go to Los Ranchos not to be surprised but to eat the meal that 100% meets your expectations. So far, it has never let us down.

The environment was very alive. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The food was fresh and Delicious.

went there for my birthday. the food was eh.. OK. really expensive for what it was. they did sing me happy birthday (with little to no enthusiasm- but hey!)

Everytime we visit Miami, it is the back of my mind to make sure we are near Los Ranchos at mealtime. The steak is devine...these people really know what to do with a slab of beef! We have also been tot he Sweetwater location and enjoy it, too.

This has to one of the WORST places I have ever eaten at. Although the food wasn't bad, the service was HORRIBLE. I am not one of those harsh critics, but I don't have any reasons to come back to this location. My waiter took my order 3 times. Why? I am not sure. My boyfriend ordered a beer TWICE, and the waiter still did not bring it. He got so frustrated and impatient that he went to the bar to order it. My boyfriend's "churassco" actually looked like a different cut of steak. It's a shame that we had such a bad experience here because the location of the restaurant is nice, and the menu is decent. However, I will definitely not come here again. Get your act together Los Rancho!

Very ordinary food - the service is okay. My husband likes the green sauce on the fish.

The Surf & Turf entree is a must. Leave room for the tres leche.

The service was the worst we have had in a long time, the waiter never came to our table, the hostess took our order, the ripe plantains & rice were cold, the steaks were good, but after having had such a bad service it was useless, we very politely advise the manager of the situation, her response was "sorry you came on a bad day"

Great steaks, three unique sauces for use, fantastic tastes.Plantains, chips the works. The dinner special at $9.99 (before 6pm) is an amazing value.

The food was adequate, although the service was poor. The most objectionable issue was the cleanliness of the establishment. Diaper changing materials were over the sink in the ladies' room. We went with a Groupon offer. If you purchased one, dine quickly before the establishment is closed for health reasons.

The restaurant has been completely renovated and is very nice. The very good welcome, the meat is excellent except the service. The waiter was really unfriendly

A Family Restaurant, reservations can be made by phone. But one day as busy as Fathers Day the receptionist in charge of reservations was a little confused, who had made reservations we sat at the bar but apparently distracted forgot about us and my husband reminded her again, to got along time waiting. We finally got a table, our waiter named Mario was excellent, the manager also very attentive, the food excellent.

This place is as good as ever. When they first introduced the Presidente Churrasco, I hesitated because of the higher price. Believe me, it's worth it. The cut is better and more tender. I love their salad and their vinegar based salad dressing. Good service and atmosphere. If you want a good Nicaraguan Churrasco, and some great gallo pinto, thee is no place better to go.

It's a great place for an inexpensive steak. Service is attentive, price is reasonable.

Los Ranchos at The Falls lost the nice service and quality of food, also, the waitress lack of nice service, she was really rude.

This is an incredible restaurant and more than just a steakhouse but once you do have their steak (churasco with chimichurri sauce to be specific) it will become your benchmark for comparing all other Latin steaks. Nice atmosphere and good wine list.

The Churrasco Presidente is a must, 12 oz. of melt in your mouth steak, grilled to perfection and accompanied by gallo pinto (red beans and rice), sweet plantains and green plantains. There is a "Baby Churrasco Presidente also available at 8 oz. Appetizers galore, portions large enough to share. Extensive menu, full liquor bar and good wine selection. The new locale at The Falls Shopping Center is modern, clean and attractive.

I went there with some friends for lunch and we had an enjoyable time. I had the Churrasco with chimichurri, with the rice and beans and plantains, and coconut flan for dessert. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. This is another restaurant that you could go to when you are in the Falls area.

My stepdaughter gave my husband a Groupon for los Ranchos this year so, even though we ha a bad experience in the past, we decided to give this place another try. After my last review of this place, I thought the manager would had taken the feedback and improve the place. I was wrong. We ordered the Baby Churrasco medium rare and we had to return it to the kitchen because it was raw. We called the manager an she took it back without a slight concern. My husband toll the manager that he did not want a churrasco again and she did not bring him the menu again, we had to walk to the front to get it. My steak came back well done and finally a third time it was brought to the table cooked medium. The manager never apologized and did not show any caring sign. The staff is not friendly . The manager seems not to care and that is the main problem. Don't waste your money here, there are many places in Miami to eat good meat and have good service!

This is an expensive Nicaraguan restaurant, the food is good, tasty, the meat is juicy and tasty, usually comes with Gallopinto( rice with read beans) you need to tell them to give you good amount of gallopinto , otherwise they give you a little, thinking that you are on a diet. But if you go to a Fritanga is much cheaper and they give you more amount of Gallopinto and plantains,

They have great steaks and rice and beans. They have good wine menu but the problem is usually when you ask for a specific wine that fits your budget, they say they do not have it. Also be very careful when you receive your bill, make sure that you have been charged for what you ordered. A couple of times when I looked at my credit card charges the next day, I saw charges for items that we had not ordered. Had to call them and request a refund which they did but it is not convenience as we had to take our receipt and credit card charge back to them in order to be refunded. This caused not to visit them again.

They just move next to Bloomingdales. The new place is beautiful. Love seating outside overlooking the waterfall, very romantic especially at night. Definitely, their Baby Churrasco Presidente is the best Churrasco in town. This steak is super soft and extremely tender. More expensive than their regular Churrasco steak but definitely worth every penny. Service is good and ambiance could not be better. If you are a meat lover, their Baby Churrasco Presidente is a must try!

Very good food, the steaks are just out of this world. Good service, nice place.

this is by far in my top 10 restaurants to return to when traveling in the area. I actually had lunch here then went back for dinner because it was so good

I like the new Los Ranchos at The Falls at their new location. Food was good. It always is. The prices have gone up. It is getting difficult to justify the price. I did enjoy my churrasco. Service was also good.

Good Central America flavor - Good meat and Good gallo pinto - nicaraguan style The place is Good a little bit expensive The falls mall is great

The staff is great, the place is fairly small. Don't sit outside cause the flies will attack you. The drinks and specials are good. The only soup they have is a watery chkn. The enchiladas aren't authentic enchiladas but the flauntas are delish and the staff is friendly

My wife and I went here last night which was a Saturday. When we walked in the hostess greeted us in spanish which was fine. My wife is latin but i'm American and do not speak spanish. She then asked us a question in spanish while only looking at me. I told her that I don't speak spanish. She then made the rudest expression on her face and walked us to our table and threw the menus down before walking away without saying anything. The server's attitude was basically an extension of the hostess' The flavor of the food was bland and mediocre. We got the check and discovered that the server had included the gratuity even though it does not state it on the menu. We left and an hour later I was vomitting and had diaherria and had wet farts all night. I had ordered fish that was obviously mishandled or not fresh. Wouldn't recommend it to an enemy.

Poor service and so so food. We were seated in a corner by our waiter. It took him a while to come over and take our order. He walked by us multiple times and did not refill our empty drink glasses, but decided he would refill when he brought us the check. The food is bland and needed some spices or even salt and pepper.

I love this place. Been coming here for years! Predictably good food, efficient servers and good pricing. Meats are well-seasoned and THE BEST tres leches ever!

Los Ranchos at the “Falls” is a great place for delicious Nicaraguan dishes. The first Los Ranchos opened in 1981 and since that time they opened other restaurants continuing to provide good service and quality food with great ambience! One of my favorites is Los Ranchos at the “Falls”. I have been here many times and recently for a family dinner. We all really like the various dishes they provide. One of my favorites is the “baby churrasco with gallo pinto”, sweet plantains which also comes with the house salad and garlic bread! Yummy! My favorite drink is either Sangria or a Mojito. You must try the “tres leches” for dessert! If you are in the area, try “Los Ranchos” at the “Falls” or any of the others in Miami and Sweetwater. You will not regret it!

Amazing food and service!

Prices increased 20-30% per entree exclusively for Mothers Day Holiday. Doubled the amount of tables by using plastic rental tables and fold up chairs to jam pack restaurant and make a quick buck. When you pay top dollar for a steak, you should not be sitting on rental fold up chairs. Food was mediocre at best and suffered because of the amount of guests in the restaurant. This place has always been one of my favorites but I may never return. Any establishment that has such little disregard of its patrons does not deserve my loyalty. Their greed on the holiday was shameful.

Ate there with my wife and a friend last night. I ordered the "President Steak", its a Churrasco, cant say enough about the meat!! It was fantastic. Tender, melted in your mouth. The usual accompaniments were very good. I had mine with "Salsa Jalapeña" which is traditional Jalapeño sauce, that does not disappoint. The appetizer we ordered was dry, not good. had the fried chess, and "vigor on" (pork rinds). My wife ordered the ceviche and it was terrible, it had been obviously frozen fish, that had been thawed, pretty bad. Service was a whole other cup of tea.. We were constantly rushed, wrong food was brought to the table. had to be reminding the waiter about our drinks.. They need huge improvement in this area.. I remember much better service from the one in Coral Gables, that no longer exists. All in all if your willing to put aside the service, you cant beat the meat!! Its fantastic...

Newly relocated next to Bloomingdales in The Falls shopping center, Los Ranchos’ interior is nicely decorated and offers a serene dining ambience. I know, because I had 2 hours to observe it while waiting for the lunch special to be served. There were only six other people in the restaurant! Bread arrived quickly as did my iced tea (never refilled), and water glasses were kept full. The lunch specials took at least one hour to arrive. The waitress cautioned me about the hot plate. Was this a joke? The plate was as cold as my steak, rice and beans, and cooked plantains. This would be a lovely restaurant if service was vastly improved and the food was served hot, or at least warm. The Steak Ranchero Encebollado was nicely marinated and had good flavor. Skip the Creamy Shrimp Pasta dish.

Always a good location for consistently good quality food and excellent service. Love the grilled fish which comes with bread, a small salad, the rice and beans mixture (gallo pinto), and fried plantain chips. Best of all if the trio of sauces (tres salsa) to accompany your dishes. In a nice location in the Falls shopping center ( the one in Bayside in downtown Miami has great views of the marina). The service is always very efficient and professional.

The food is very poor quality, cold and soggy roasted chicken and the service is so bad that they confused the orders, brought the wrong food and we could not eat all at the same time, discounted some food from the bill but it was not even worth as a free meal.

terrible service, slow .. slow..servers however the food was great....I did not see a difference between presidente churrasco and regular.

We had family visiting from out of town and went for my birthday dinner on Saturday night. The lighting over our table wasn't working correctly, it was like a strobe light because someone put a bulb that wasn't compatible with dimmer lighting. Our waiter took nearly 20 minutes to address the table and was usually nowhere to be found. We were constantly asking other servers to find him or asking our water person for help. Our water person, Luis Menendez, was phenomenal. HE should be part of the waitstaff, not our waiter. My steak was over cooked, her returned it for me. By the time it arrived however, everyone was finished eating and I had to take my food to go. The floor tile was VERY POORLY chosen and is slippery everywhere. My daughter slipped and fell while returning from the bathroom and with all the staff standing around, Luis, again, was the only person to even notice. Let alone ask if she was ok. For such an expensive dinner, I've never been more disappointed in this place. I would recommend El Novillo over this place from now on. It looks nice but, don't judge a book by its cover...

This is higher end Nicaraguan food, which is similar to Cuban food, but a delightful subtle change. We love Cuban food but like the contrast after eating so much Cuban food when we come to Miami. So far the restaurant has held up over the years although the pricing is a little high for some of their menu items, and probably not worth going to their star plates as the value just doesn't match the price. Stick with the lunch menu lower end prices and you will not be disappointed. onioin chicken, or onion fish good but when you get pricier the value just doesn't match. We like the rice and red beans separately served with a scooper at your table, and they serve healthy amounts and provide refills if it wasn't enough

Firstable, We had to wait around minutes for a waitress to come to our table. When we were about to leave one of the bartenders came and took our order. I has to ask for a plate twice. The food is definitely good but the service is really bad.

Every time I come to South Florida, I have to have dinner with my favorite aunt, Mercedes. This time, we went to Los Ranchos Steakhouse at The falls Sopping Center. We both ordered the Surf and Turf. Amazing. The baby churrasco was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp. We were pleasantly surprised. We topped our meal with a Cuatro Leches for dessert.

As a long time Miami resident, I have been eating at Los Ranchos since it was first established at its first location in Flagler Street and 107 Avenue. It was great then...fast forward to the present and the location at the Falls, and it's quite a different story. Arrogant and callous waiters who provided minimal to non-exitent service. They stood around ignoring the clientele except a couple of tables that was obvious that they knew each other. The food was OK, but no better than any steak I can pick up at a local grocery store that I can make on my grill with much better flavor and hardly worth the $17 cost of the small piece of meat. You can get a superior piece of meat at countless other eateries for a 1/3 less. Not once, did any one check to see if I needed anything, including a little water in my empty glass or another piece of bread. To top things off, the bathrooms were non-operational, and when a customer asked that he really needed to use it, he was told to go to another business across the street. The only contact was at the end of the meal to see if I wanted to tack on additional expenses by adding desserts or coffee to the bill. No thank you. It is a real shame that this once excellent restaurant has apparently ended its run in the sun. So save your money. They lost a long time loyal customer on this one.

Since this restaurant changed locations at the Falls, they are in a better location, excellent professional and friendly staff, and their floor managers are consistently checking to make sure you are having a good experience! Max came to talk and check up on us and he was very pleasant!

We used to eat at Los Ranchos regularly years ago on our trips to Miami. This time we were looking for the great Nicaraguan food we use to enjoy, but we were very disappointed. The quality today is not at all what we were used to. The service was cold by our main waiter, but the others who helped were very helpful and friendly. The food, specifically, the churrasco tasteless and of poor (cheaper) meat quality and disappointing. The gallo pinto was good, but the plantains were two little pieces. Needless to say we were very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to waste their time here.

It a very nice place to have a declicious pinto de gallo (rice & beans) and their churrasco is cooked just right. And don't forget a tres leche for dessert!

good service, good quality food, average price $ 70.00 for two people.

Since the stores of Vinyl Records still existed, I used to frequent these restaurants in South Miami. After a long visit to the stores "Peaches" and "Specs", to buy records, first on vinyl and then on CD, I felt the need to enjoy a "Steak President" in the unique style of "Los Ranchos". After more than 30 years of not eating there I was able to return last December to re-discover the flavors of its magnificent Central American cuisine. A pair of "Margarita Cocktails", their toasted bananitos as "snacks" and the juicy Steack Presidente, accompanied by an exquisite and fresh salad very similar to the "Caesar", Rice with black and mature pine nuts at their point, made that return has been worth any effort Moving to Kendall from North Miami. It's that although there are several locations, I've always preferred the one located within the always updated and updated mall "The Fall", right on 88th Street in the South West, at junction with US1. Viista that should not stop making lovers of good cuts of beef.

The restaurant was nice looking, relaxed and clean. The food was excellent. The food service was fast, but the waiters were a little slow in coming back to the table. That said, the waiters were very accommodating, pleasant and friendly.

After a girlfriend was unable to meet me for lunch (we were going to an Italian restaurant on Brickell) I decided to still go and have a nice lunch. I went to Bayside and accompanied with my book, sat at a booth where Edgar provided me with excellent service. There are plenty of options from their Executive Lunch Menu all include their famous gallo pinto, maduros, mariquitas y pan. The ambiance and music is nice and there was a good mix of diners from business men, to locals but of course the majority I believe were tourists. I will definitely be returning!!

The service sucks and the food is okay. I don't know why but I seem to get ill when we have gone there

Let me start off by saying this review is specific to this location. This is one of my favorite restaurants, but I will never come back to this location. Ever since they moved to the bigger space the service has gone to s***. I have eaten there 3 times since they moved and each time was worse than the last. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but this was the last straw. The first time the food took forever but I told myself they are getting used to the location, the second time raised some flags. It was a Tuesday and it was not even that busy, food took long, server would come by once in a blue and always forgot something. I was also seated 5 feet away from broken glass or a plate which was also wet and it sat there the entire time. I mentioned it to the server and his response was we are very busy. What a major liability for them, you would think they would at least place a cone, but nothing. This leads me to this last time which was horrible. We started off good as we had a reservation and were seated within minutes of our scheduled time. That was the only thing that went well. It was 15 MINUTES!!!!! and we had neither utensils or the FREAKING menu. I had to walk up to the hostess because after 15 minutes I still didn't know who our server was. The moment she came I ordered food for my 3 year old so his food can come out first and have his meal out of the way while we ordered a round of drinks. Needless to say his food came about the same time as the drinks, 25 minutes later!!!! The drinks took so long the water we had was all gone and it wasn't until the drinks came that the server was even back in our area and getting the water took another 6-8 minutes. We were trying to enjoy ourselves still and chatting it up when I noticed the table next me had the second round of people already having their meal and our food was still not out. It took 65 minutes for our food to come out after ordering. Many times we discussed leaving, but it was a Friday night and it would take longer to go someplace else and start the process. The whole time I am thinking, this place ( at least every other location ) has great service and I am sure they will make this right with the bill. When the bill came I asked the server what could be done since we were there almost 2 hours by that point. She called a manager. The woman came over and I explained our dissatisfaction, she nodded and said she would be right back. 10 MINUTES LATER!!!! Our server comes with the bill with NO ADJUSTMENT, I asked if the manager denied a discount and she went to check ( ANOTHER 5 MINUTES ). The bill was almost $300 and the discount the manager gave was $12!!!!!! I have received 10% off just for an inconvenience at any other place, and with so many things gone wrong they did not even give 5%. I was with my family and did not want to make the night worse by making a scene so we left. The food was great as always, I won't take that way, but if you don't want a bad experience skip this location. Brio is right there as well as other restaurants and I have always had great experiences there. No one seemed to care from the hostess to the manager. Best locations are Coral Way ( The Best Service In My Opinion ) and Bayside. There's too many places at the falls to eat to ruin it by eating here, and by the recent reviews I've read it's obvious this is every day now.

I've visited this restaurant about a year ago in its previous locale Inside The Falls mall and thought nothing remarkable of it; this visit, however, in their new locale in the same mall I was delighted to see a great improvement, both visually as in the quality of its cuisine. I ordered the house special, it being "the presidente cut" and was delighted by the flavor and meat tenderness. The Sangria was good if not remarkable and the dessert was nothing spectacular. Still, it's worth a visit if just to try the house's best cut.

Have not been here in over a year. Noted immediately a lack of ambience ,Service none existent ,waitresses hanging around talking without clearing the dirty dishes from our table. Cheap paper table coverings instead of linen table, no table set up with plates or glasses, A restaurant that you could take out your wife for a date now looks like a diner. Food is still good but the steak sizes have shrunk but not the prices. I am sorry I dont go to a dinner to spent 139.00. The new owner has no idea how to run a restaurant. Definitely will not go back, it will not be around for long

We visited Los Ranchos Steakhouse at The Falls on a Groupon for dinner. We've been there several times in the past but wanted to try the new digs. The new location was modern, bright, and well designed especially for a location in a shopping mall. Very well executed. We had the Cerdo Frito for our appetizer. These are fried pork chunks served with plantain chips and a sauce. The pork was tender and juicy...very good. For our entrees, I had the 12 ounce Churrasco and my wife had the Chicken Fajitas. Both were tender and cooked as ordered. They were serve with sweet fried plantains and rice and beans. The three Argentine sauces were excellent. Both dishes were very good. We had the coconut flan for desert with was the perfect ending. The service was excellent and the prices were fair. We'll be back many times.

Last evening my dear friend and I had an amazing evening at Los Ranchos. The food was over the top delicious. We had the emerald mahi and the churrasco. Fresh, well-prepared and delicious. What made the evening the best was our attentive waiter, German. He was kind, warm, courteous...made us feel like family. To top it off, we dined with beautiful music in the background with a live singer. In the past couple of years I had issues with the service and timing of the food. This time was spectacular. I am happy I gave this Miami icon a second chance!

My husband and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years and we are always satisfied. The service is quick with a short wait time for a table. Try to make reservations, however you can always walk in and request a table. The food is delicious and the ambiance is nice for a romantic dinner. Of course order their steaks

The food was cooked right, hot and tasty, our servers,Amy and Sophia were the best. we have been there before and will return, We loved it

Service is very good, loved the steak with the topping that are on the table.

Every time we bring guests to Los Ranchos we are not let down. The new location in the Falls Shopping Mall has a fresh, fun and clean atmosphere. Our guests wanted Spanish food and they were not let down. We enjoyed excellent stakes while listening to current latin music. Our servers were fast and polite. Cannot wait to go again.

A very good Churrasco with Gallo Pinto and plantains highly reccomended

The service was terrible and the food was not much to talk about beside how over priced it was. They place an extra charge on everything. My wife had a salad, she was asked if she wanted grated cheese on it, she said yes, she was charged for it.

Was out shopping so I came in to have a meal. The quality is actually very good. Probably one of the best places to eat at the mall

Our waitress (a Hispano with little motivation to work there at all) and her assistant were just recommending the most expensive meals without listening to customers what these were looking for. To us she told the lie that there would be no Fajitas..... 5 minutes later another waiter served Fajitas to the neighboring table. Get rid of such staff !

Latin steak house where the food is simply delish... If you never tried this or think this is another Nicaraguan "fritanga" you could not be more wrong. It is not cheap but you will not be disapointed.

We were at Los Ranchos (The Fall, Miami) on Sunday and it was a reallyyyyyyyy bad experience. Our table was really close to the staff corner so we heard all their gossips. The food wasn't a big deal, but it was fine. The service ohohohohohho, they were rude, they treat as really bad with an awesomeeeee body language and a hugeeeeeee desire of be working on Sunday. They were so happy servicing us (we are very nice young people and far away of problematic) that we almost jumped out of the restaurant... and decided to never ever be back.

New Location , nice décor ,, good service , and the same Menu ! Good Meats and the same boring Rice and Beans .. What can I say .. Nicaraguan food is very good and tasty .. but the restaurant remains the same for over 30 years .. Wine list extremely poor and out of stock .. Will consider other Miami places before returning.

I ordered the Baby churrasco medium rare. The chef does not know how to cook a skirt steak medium rare. The order went back to the kitchen 3 times. The steak was well done and then raw, purple and cold. It is sad that a steak house does not know how to cook the meat . The service was not attentive and seemed confused with the orders. IIf you like a good steak I do not recomend this restaurant. For the price the food should be good. Very disappointed

Was invited by Nicaraguan friends that claimed it was the best Churasco in town. Not dissappointed, we had it with chimichurri, rice, beans and plantains, and coconut flan for dessert. Our waitress was ok but service in general is a bit slow.

Not the True Nica restaurant like it used to be before! Service wasnt top notch and the food wasnt its best like previous times! This reataurant is definitely losing its touch! Dont GetSome!!

I was not sure but once I tasted the prime beef I was sold it truly is a step above the regular beef, everything was great, the food the service and we stayed past closing time without being rushed out!! Would definitely recommend

Simple food cooked perfectly. Lacks variety, but then, when your main platters are so good... Who cares?! A must go at least once.

I went to this place really craving a good steak, and I was not dissapointed! Food quality is great and service is fantastic. Also, there are a lot of options in the menu. The only downside is that the place is not very nicely decorated

New hostess stand right in front of the main door so looks like a typical Miami traffic jam as soon as you walk in, staff running around not knowing what to do. they are al running around bumping into each other, tables on top of each other with no room to breathe. Steaks are always good though but atmosphere the worst since they moved locations Will go elsewhere next time

Los Ranchos in the Falls shopping center is a Nicaraguan style and very well serviced restaraunt serving excellent steak and accompaniments. They have fried plantains that are always fresh and rice and beans with wonderful flavor and of course the sauces to go with your steak--parsley, oninos, or spicier tomato and onoins. They have attentive service and we are always satisfied with a consistenly made dinner that you grow to expect and crave! The dessert of "tres leches" is an indulgence not to be missed. !Buen provecho!

First of all, the place is not Argentinian. it is NICARAGUAN. And the service is great. Within 15 minutes, you already have your food, drinks, and side dishes. The New York Strip combo with shrimp and lobster tail is AMAZING. Overall great experience

For those of you who do not live in Miami-Dade County, and not aware of the local Latin American cultural and culinary nuances; this is Nicaraguan fare at its best! Its specialty, as it is in its place of origin, is churrasco, traditionally accompanied by "Gallo Pinto" (rice and beans) and Platanos, whether Maduros or Verdes. Your choice. My preference is Verdes. Don't forget to top your churrasco with "chimichurri" sauce, which is a sort of parsley pesto sauce. For desert, of course, a Tres Leches. It's so good, but so rich, you'll want to share it. After 25 years, it has yet to disappoint me. Never had bad service. Not cheap; but worth it.

We just arrived in Miami and were looking for some good Latin food. We found Las Ranchos Steakhouse to be a great place to relax and enjoy the Latin food. We had the BBQ Ranchero and the meat was cooked to perfection. The sweet plantains and gallo pinta hit the spot. Looking forward to coming back!

Every time we travel to Miami always went to eat there with the family. My husband and I went back recently and was very disappointed at the new location. Service was poor, food was not impressive and new building does not have carácter and the warming welcoming the older location had. This feels cold, plastic and it looks like any other restaurante. We'll never go back, we'll find another steak house restaurante next time we are in Miami!!

My husband and I went on Fathers day without reservations even that the restaurant was full they give us a table pretty fast. The food was great I love my steak and lobster, even the salad was great. My husband got churrasco with shrimp and he said was amazing. Also the drinks are pretty good, I have a margarita.

My family went to Los ranchos this past Saturday for lunch, we were 9 people so they added 18% to the bill, they didnt have to go out of their way. Waiter was pushing for "The President "cut churrasco at $36, I said no we want the regular churrasco, down hill from here, we got the churrasco, we got rice and sweet plantain, I asked for the green plantain , I'm still waiting. We saw the waiter when he came back to see how many we're drinking coffe and take dessert order. Food was mediocre, there are many other equally bad restaurants for lunch at half the price. Restaurant is in a nice place and convenient , however not worth the money. TGIF is always a better choice.

I visit Miami very often and each trip I eat at this restaurant about two or three days of my visit. They have a very friendly staff who is quite knowledgeable of the different varieties of food a available. I only eat seafood and at this location I get a nice variety to choose from. Also the prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Then have a mixed rice (black beans and rice) which keeps me going back. Hey!! If you visit they will give you three sauces and toast bread as a starter; you will ask for more.

I keep coming back to this restaurant waiting for a bad meal like what happens with other restaurants. But no, not yet, it is always the best. The Presidente steak with all of the trimmings, the service which is always good no matter who serves you, to the Sangria it is always great. The deserts are also good. It is a little pricey but in my opinion it is well worth the money. Good food is never cheap.

Came here for a casual dinner date before a 10 o'clock movie showing. We really enjoyed our meals! Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. The location is a bit tight and can be noisy but the quality of the grilled meats (we had both chicken and steak) was excellent. Very attentive waiters and the chimichurri sauce was superb. Served with plantains, white or mixed white/bean rice.

I ordered our food at around 4pm, I wasn't asked about the sides for one of the meals I ordered for my girls. It wasn't busy at this time at all. We got our bill at 5:31 pm. Not once did the waiter asked us about or food, or if we needed anything. Dishes that were finished were not retrieved until I got the bill. The food wasn't that great either!
Only Average
This restaurant is too brightly lit and is very noisy. I ordered a gin and tonic, and I'm not sure what they did to it, but it was awful. The Sangria I had instead was very good, and the wine list has some very reasonable and good wines. Food is good, not great.
