Was recommended to eat here and we are glad we did. Nice white linen tables with excellent food and excellent service. Reasonable priced steaks and seafood. With your meal you are brought 3 sauces to use. This was a really great idea to compliment our meal.

We have been going to this restaurant every vacation since 1990, the best steakhouse in Miami. If you want fish, you must try the Emerald Fish! Amazing and the spinach cream sauce is very tasty.

Really enjoyed our meal tonight. Delicious starter platter (good value at $20 instead of ordering separately) followed by fajitas for 2 of us and filet mignonettes for the other 2. Rice and beans and plaintain are standard. Not rushed at all. Popular with locals.

It was not my 1st time visiting los ranchos in Bayside but it will be my last time...we want for mothers day around 3 pm which we thought was not Going to be so packed which it wasn't..after i sign my name the lady told me it was gonna 30-45 mins for a party of 6 which I thought was OK after 45 mins passed I was a bit annoyed it took almost 2 hrs to sit us....when we finally sat down they gave us the menu which by the way we were told it was a special event menu which mean limited menu items and more expensive some items were like $9 more expensive I thought it was a bit crazy but whatever might as well stay after 2 hrs wait....the waiter came over after 15 mins of waiting he looked lost he asked what we wanted to eat took the order and left....never asked if we wanted something to drink they brought our food waiter was still not around we had to ask another waiter to brings 4 sodas...the order of fries came when we were done eating...ohhhh of course finally it was time to bring us the check then the waiter seemed to wanna do his job explaining to me that the tip was not included...I gave him my credit card he charge us then I filled out the complete amount which included 15% tip total was $181.98 way to expensive for basic food the only good thing was the churrasco and Gallo Pinto..the pasta was bland no taste my chicken was raw and I asked for well done ,shrimp dish was too expensive and didn't taste so good...so after I paid $181.98 we left....3 days I check my statement and I see a charge on my credit card that I didn't make...WELL GUESS WHAT MY DEAR NOT SO GOOD WAITER CHANGED THE 1 FOR A 9 SO SUPPOSEDLY INSTEAD OF LEAVING HIM 21.16 OF TIP I LEFT HIM 29.16 I was so upset because he didn't deserve those 29.16 plus what gives him the right to charge my credit card with a different amount I authorised call me exaggerate but this is FRAUD..imagine how many more he has done this to..BTW the manager told me ohh it's only $8 no biggie excuse me no biggie then she told me that I was wrong that I left him $29.16 and that I needed to stop lying...I felt like a child when I was told this.... MY ADVICE BEWARE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT...OR BETTER YET TAKE PICTURES OF THE RECEIPT INCLUDING TIPS....that's what I started doing...... (sorry for the long review) lol Hope it helps

Big Disappointment. If you make the mistake of going for lunch make sure to order fast before they switch the menu on you!!! We were visiting from Maryland with several family members and had been looking forward to getting together for some good food and good times. We were a party of 14 and half our group arrived at 2:00pm and began ordering drinks and appetizers. The other half of our our group was stuck in traffic but arrived just after 3:00pm. Once everyone arrived we placed our entree orders and were waiting for our food, only to be told by our server that the lunch menu which we were given when we arrived was now invalid and that we would be charged dinner prices from the dinner menu which started at 3:00pm. We asked to speak with the manager. The manager introduced herself as Cecilia and said there was nothing she could do that we would have to pay the higher prices. We explained that we had been at the table since 2pm and had been ordering appetizers and drinks the whole time. We placed our order from the lunch menu and were looking forward to eating what we had ordered but Cecilia wouldn’t budge. Cecilia was rude and showed not one ounce of customer service or concern. She was belligerent, said she could do nothing and even offered to give us the owners phone number. Which in hindsight, I wish we had accepted so that he could know how his manager Cecilia handles customer service at his restaurant. I now understand why the restaurant was empty. We were made to pay dinner prices for the same food we ordered from the lunch menu. The food was mediocre and not worth the prices we were made to pay. I would stay away from this unprofessional establishment and take your business to a restaurant that appreciates their customers and shows the utmost class and style when dealing with its patrons. Needless to say we will never be back!

Good value for good food. Fajitas a bit unbalanced in vegs-to-meat proportion, but overall the service, food and view is worth a visit.

While on vacation we decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at Los Ranchos Bayside. I cannot say enough of this place. The service is great. They have really good drinks. We ordered the fried cheese appetizer that comes with plantains and they were delicious. We had the churrasco and it was excellent, very tender and cooked to perfection, they serve it with unlimited plantains and Gallo pinto (rice and beans) so tasty you can't stop eating. I highly recommend this place!!

The place is rather simple and not necessarily inviting. However, the food is really good. I had the chicken steak with pisco de gallo (rice with beans) and plantain chips along with a simple fresh salad like te one I used to have as a child, just great! The Caesar's salad was fresh and with a huge chicken portion and also rather light. Dessert was excellent: both the cuatro leches cake as well as the molted lava cake with icecream were the perfect ending of a great late lunch. One gripe: service was a tad slow (but they kept announcing that the food would be served soon...).

Love their steaks and the family-style sides of rice and beans, plantains, and plantain chips! Your order is delivered and then they bring the sides to your table and give you as much of them as you want. Very good food and value and a great view, too! On the 2nd floor in the NE corner of Bayside. Floor to ceiling windows let you look out over the water. When our son comes home from Chicago, this is one of the places he really likes to go for dinner.

I recently had dinner at Los Ranchos with several colleagues. It is located at Bayside and offers a nice view of the water. Los Ranchos is known for the Churrasco steak, which is what all of us ordered. I had the El Presidente. It's actually tenderloin that is sliced thin. It was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. I highly recommend.

Excellent food, fresh with a lot of flavor, great attention by the staff and excellent view of the Bay.

I had lovely time at this restaurant the good was fresh and plenty of it, Our waiter was excellent started of with some bread and selection of tapas which was delicious had to stop myself from eating it all or I wouldn’t have eat my surf and turf which was amazing, my husband is so fussy so when he got sweet banana on his plate with his steak he was pleasantly surprised that he liked it and asked for more. Just wish they were in the uk or I would be there all the time.

I highly recommend this restaurant on Bayside Market in MIami--excellent food for a low price, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. Food was soooo good! Restaurant is very clean and provide excellent views of the harbour. Had the fish tacos---now I'm craving them again!

Have visited several of the Los Ranchos locations in Miami and they're all good, but the restaurant at The Falls is extra special! The churrasco is melt-in-your-mouth amazing and the service is the best. Marta has taken care of our group several times and does a great job. Beautiful location, exceptional service and delicious food!

We were two persons! We ordered two different steaks in various conditions of readiness: one medium and one medium done! Both were great - juicy and delicious! Exactly what have been waiting for! We loved! The restaurant is spacious, good location and easy to find! Staff responsive! Served quickly and welcome! I absolutely recommend! Very good price-quality ratio!

Here is the deal. Start with two appetizers: tostones and vigoron (yuca). That will set you up in the mood for Latin food. The must have entree is the churrasco (medium rare). It will be served with plantains and gallopinto (rice & beans). Get a nice bottle of red wine, and you enjoy your dinner.

First time here!!! Great atmosphere and service. Food was great too!!! Had different menu opitions to choose from and I liked the fact that when you order an entree your sides come a la carte.

We always stop at this restaurant when we are in Miami. It is so worth it! All the food is wonderful! The service is excellent also! Give it a try- you will be happy that you did!

I had not visited this restaurant at any of their location in over 20 years and a friend mentioned to me recently and I decided to visit the original restaurant location in Sweetwater better know as little Managua. I remember when on a weekend you had to make reservations well in advance or risk waiting for over an hour. I made my reservation on a Sunday about an hour before my arrival and as usual inquired about allowance of corking and changes. When I arrived I was surprised that the restaurant that seats well in excess of 200 had only a total of less than 20 in 4 groups. After 15 minutes into my visit it was very easy to understand why, Number 1 It has become a custom among Latin American and Spanish restaurants in the area to have some kind of entertainment about 5 days a week but specially on the weekend, they may vary from mediocre to very existing and profesional, the one I witness here does not even comes close to acceptable. Number 2 Amazingly the best employee I met was the lady that sat us, served the water and kept us served all the time. Eventually when the waiter showed up he was only interested in placing the order of the most expensive dishes even after I mentioned exactly want and how I wanted. He reacted very rude and disappear for must of the night after finally placing the order. Number 3 As I mentioned I inquire both on the phone and upon my arrival about the corking fees but when I got my bill they had charged me a higher amount, when I questioned the charge a manager came out dressed very unprofessional and said that the charge was correct but that she would adjusted this one time, of course I am very much afraid there is not going to be next time for me. To be fair the churrasco, one of the items in the menu that brought fame to this restaurant is still as good as I remember, the other signature dish the tres leches, a dessert, that was also real treat this one has suffered a down turn. All in all they did create a reputation of service and quality that I did not experienced on my visit, . It's a real shame

Not flashy, rather unassuming. And yet, the view is beautiful. I enjoyed the food (you have to try the chimichurri, but go for the small size), and I enjoyed the family-style service even more: it was like being at home (without having to take care of the dishes). A very pleasant experience! I'll come back!

We had a family gathering and we were well pleased with the ambiance, the food and the staff. Recommend the surf & Turf

Este lugar es muy bien, si habla español. Since my family and I do not speak fluent Spanish, we noticed a real let down in the staff's service. I may be over exaggerating but everyone else who spoke Spanish appeared to be receiving superb service. Food was just okay and the steak was tough. I ordered el pollo churrasco, fue solo ok, it was just ok.

The restaurant offers a great opportunity to enjoy very good Latin food while visiting the Bayside Marketplace. Nice menu variety and great food quality.

We happen to stumble upon this restaurants and were very happy that we did. For dinner we started out with the Cancun Quesidellas followed by Baby Presidente w/chimichurri sauce. Mi gusto. To chase it all down we orders several Mojitos. I have to go on record as saying while I have had Mojitos in my day but man, I wanted to kiss the bartender. They were just that good. Disclaimer: If you are a calorie counter this is not your place. If you wish to throw caution to the wind, wear your stretch pants and say Screw It, then Los Rancheros is your place. Think of it as your cheat day, you earned it.

Enjoy a fantastic Biscayne Bay view, as you treat yourself to a perfectly cooked to your order churrasco, gallo pinto, ripe bananas, toasted bread with their tasty three sauces. Great service at all times, from constantly refiling you water glasses to paying attention to any need you might have. Highly recommended!

We were seated overlooking the marina so we were able to watch the boats running in and out while we dined, something we can't do in the midwest. We orded drinks and steaks, the meals were prepared perfectly and the steak was very juicy and tender. The sauce was outstanding. The waiter came around part way through the meal to top up the sides which was very much appreciated. An outstanding meal with outstanding service. I would say this is on the high end of mid range dining but the prices were not unreasonable for what we enjoyed. We will definitly return to Los Ranchos.

We've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, and the churrasco is as good as ever - the best we've had. The kids went for the first time and could not stop talking about how good the meat was as well as the rice and beans and the accompanying chimichurry. Absolutely terrific.

This restaurant has delicious food... Service is good. A nice place to take locals and visitors. The menu does have some rather interesting items, with a Brazilian flare. The service is not slow and at the same time you are not rushed. The seating is comfortable and the dress code allows the vacation attire and casual. For lunch there is general no waiting to be seated... and has an inside bar with bar stools, should you want to sit and have a drink for dining.... and in the evening a nice place to wait, if/when there might be a short wait. We enjoyed... and have been there more than a "few".

Yes, we come back for the familiar flavors and great "sabor" , like ceviche, vigorón, and the famous churrasco!!! Nicaraguan flavors from growing up family memories... the price is ok and the service fast and full of smiles. Our place to go when in downtown Miami! Family friendly and group friendly, they will make it happen!

Went for lunch and the food was okay. The staff were not very friendly and the food was only luke warm. The views hover, were quite amazing.

Came here with my boss for a working lunch. Food was fantastic, service was quick, and had a good overall price. Would recommend it if you are in the area.

I had bought a Groupon in Canada before I left (tip-search groupon for deals in your destination) - I would never have found this place otherwise! It is on the second floor at the very end of Bayside Marketplace closest to the Marina. We were taken to a table that overlooked the water and the bridge to the port. I ordered the Baby Presidente, and my husband had “Jalapeno” Beef Tips. Every meal comes with appetizers and sides included in the price. I had never had plantain chips before, and loved them. Our waiter suggested that he bring the 'Jalapeno' cream sauce in a bowl, so that we could both share it! To die for, it was scrumptious! Honestly, as I ate my tenderloin it truly was melt in your mouth, and may have been the best thing I have ever tasted. I revelled in every bite! Have to say when the plate arrived at our table I was not excited by how it looked. It appeared very brown and bland. Don't let appearances deceive you. Enjoy the taste sensation and forget that it doesn't look appealing! We tried the famous Cuatro Leches dessert with caramel topping. It may be an acquired taste, but we would not order it again. I think I would try the Pio Quinto, (rum cake) if I'm ever lucky enough to eat there again.

This place is classy casual, and I like it! the food is absolutely delicious and how much you spend depends on your taste. My bill has not that expensive but it could have definitely been. The restaurant offers a menu that caters to mostly any budget. The flavor in the food is explosive and that is a good thing to my opinion. Nobody wants to go eat at a restaurant with dull tasting food. If you order an entre you get rice and beans through your meals. You get complementary toasted bread with different sauces. The staff's level of customer service is exemplary.

My daughters and I visited for dinner and were very glad that we did. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing, we all had steak and they were all great cuts of meat and very very tasty, as well as being very good sized portions. The restaurant is very clean and tidy and has some great views, if I ever visit Miami again I'm sure to make a return visit to this establishment.

Have been here several times and the food is always excellent. My mother is now a fan and always wants to go for any celebration. Love the steak, churasco, rice and beans, etc. Muy bueno....

The only thing I ever eat at this restaurant is the Baby Churrasco. So tasty tender and well seasoned. Beans and rice and plantanitos. So tasty. Garlic bread is awesome. Service is great. Restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Quick lunch for the weekday.

Boyfriend and I had a great and rather affordable steak lunch date at Los Ranchos. We ordered their famed "Churrasco steaks" which automatically come with salad, bread, gallo pinto, sweet and dried plaintains. Boyfriend went for the 12 oz while I chose the 8oz. "Baby Churrasco". Quickly after placing out order, arrived our salads (house salad with tomatoes, onions, and yummy dressing), garlic toasted bread which seemed to poof into powder in your mouth when you take a bite. Then came our steaks with accompanying sauces: chimichurri (yes please!), salsa, and pickled onions in vinegar. I was a bit disappointed my rare steak was not as "ROJO" as I requested- I wasn't kidding when I told you to bring the cow mooing rojo. There was even a red "rare" toothpick in my steak and even my boyfriend thought it was overcooked more to his liking "blue toothpick" of medium. I was too hungry at that point to wait for a more rare steak and figured the seasoning would mask the medium-ness of the steak. For a medium steak it was A-OK. Out came the servers spooning heaping portions of gallo pinto and plaintains. All around pretty good meal and lunch. Not the best gallo pinto or plaintains I've ever eaten but they did the job just fine. I love the bottles of Malbec sitting on the table even though I did not get a chance to try it. Maybe next time! I liked how there was a restaurant sporting some Nicaraguan flare to Argentinian dishes across the street from American Airlines Arena aka Home of the Heat.

The restaurant right inside bay side whit Nicaraguan food, are one of the best try Gallo Pinto, excellent service and Moderate Price

My husband and I enjoyed apps and steak with a great view of the bay. The restaurant is roomy and comfortable. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. We will return!

The Bayside location of Los Ranchos was surrounded by outdoor restaurants. This was a great choice since we wanted a more comfortable setting after a long day of exploring. It was my bestfriend's birthday celebration too. I ordered the Churrasco Presidente with Chimichurri sauce served with plantains and rice and beans. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Tender and amazingly seasoned! The view of the bay is also a nice touch. We will definitely come back next time we're in Miami.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The bacon wrapped shrimp were awesome. What a tight wrap, that took some skill. Service was a bit slow but not bad. It was a busy Saturday night. Plantain chips were amazing. Overall it was a great meal. There was just two of us so we didn't have to wait long for a table. Larger groups will want a reservation on a busy weekend night. It's a different kind of steakhouse, not your meat and potatoes kind of place. It's a rice and beans and meat kind of place, so expect something different. It's a nice restaurant in the Bayside Marketplace so credit cards are readily accepted. Nice views of the marina as well.

This Nicaraguan restaurant is very attractive with excellent food. Ordered baby churrascos which resulted in very tender meat at $16.95 - very reasonable price for the high quality of the product. A petit mignonette at $10.95 was even more attractive, all served with rice and beans... all you can eat. If in the Bayside area, this is certainly the best place to eat good food. The service was excellent.

Over priced, even for the tourist area. There were 4 tables with people and service was still incredibly SLOW. And the when the food came it was mediocre at best.

Great views, fast service albeit not the most friendly. We weren’t too hungry so ordered small bites only. Ceviche (tiny portion but tasty, not really for sharing), plantain chips (deliciously crisp yet chewy, again a small Portion, just a handful), quesadillas (big enough to share, cheesy and delicious) and chicken tacos (3 soft fresh tortillas packed with tasty pulled chicken filling) and tostones (cheese and chorizo topping. Delicious). The sangria was also popular.

Presidente steak and lobster, quality is good but the restaurant needs to update its menu. The setting is nice.

In a typical tourist trap location - Bayside Marketplace. 5 for a late business lunch. I think they were going for the whole South America thing, but ended up more of a glorified Steak & Ale (when they were around). The usual meat and seafood choices, appetizers, etc. Just nothing out of the ordinary. A few appetizers which were OK, everyone selecting various main courses. Swai for me - a little on the small size and just not cooked quite right; not bad, just not good. Everyone enjoyed their meals, just not raving about them. And definitely lose a rating point when you tell the table how good your Key Lime Pie is. I love Key Lime Pie. And then tell me you are COMPLETELY OUT of your wonderful Key Lime Pie. REALLY??? Stick this place in a mall and it will be right at home.

Had dinner here while in Miami, good food, but very different. Lots of Plantains in the meals. I had pasta & it was good. Waiter wasn't so snappy on the drinks & he couldn't do good English, but our visit was welcoming.

Great atmosphere and nicely located in Bayside with garage parking, shopping and diner with large windows for views of the Bay and beyond. We had friends from out of state visiting so we took them to the PAMM and then Bayside for shopping and dinner. They loved all three events/locations. Food and service at Los Ranchos is always delicious, fresh and plentiful. Their Sangria is good. A great place for dinner if going to a game or concert at the AAA. Park in garage, eat then walk to AAA. .

This restaurant is located inside a mall but the food is outstanding. A fine example of Cuban food service was good and the prices are reasonable

There wasn't a lot for me to choose from on the menu as I don't eat meat, however my friends who had the special of the day which was steak, said it was to die for. No one had anything bad to say about their meal, everyone left satisfied, we were a party of six. The fried plantains and rice were excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere pretty nice.

You eat there exactly the same food you eat at a any fritanga in miami and pay a lot more! It is a fritanga with waiters.

Best steaks in town. would give higher rating if staff would have been a little more friendly. Decent prices, beer and wine is quite expensive though

I have always shied away from churrasco because the couple of steaks I have had were very fatty and chewy. The steak we had at this restaurant was like butter. It was like eating a Prime filet mignon with great flavor. I have never had a steak tike this anywhere. For years people would tell me to go to Los Ranchos and I would not go because I don't like chewy, fatty steak, period. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this place hands down. The salad was good, the sangria and very thing else was very good. The service was also very good.

We have been to this restaurant twice for dinner during our stay in Miami. Food is really good and so are drinks. Service is professional, price is reasonable and value for money is excellent. Different selection of grilled meat are available which are served along with rice, beans and sweet potato chips. Defintely recommended to those who like meat and Argentinian restaurants. I think this restaurant is one of the best options in the bayside marketplace area.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in miami.... The steak is still very good but I asked for medium well and they brought it very well done (and 30 minutes later). I was going to return it and ask for medium well but I was too hungry to wait another 30 minutes. We had to flag down servers every time we needed something even though it was very empty. I would still come back for the churrasco but with lower expectations on service and knowing its probably going to take a while. Worst part was that the server reminded us when he brought the check that service was not included and then on top of that highlighted the check (see pic).

The steak is awsome, perfect. Cheese with chorizo the best, service is a little slow and some waitters are not nice. Price its ok but if you hace more options, you should go somewhere else

This place was recommended, but it didn’t live up to our expectations. The was a nice view, but the food was just OK. We had the petite Filet Mignon with mushroom sauce. The rice came when I was more than half finished my meal. Part of my steak was raw and had to be sent back to make it medium rare. When the rice finally arrived, it was lukewarm. Service was slow and inattentive.

Do you respect your body and what you eat? If you answer yes then please never eat here. It's awful, probably the worst review I've placed in the 20 cities worldwide I've eaten and reviewed. Greasy, food awful, wifi not working and no interest in finding out why, wine vile....clearly it's cheap, but at some point you have to question where it becomes acceptable to ship food like this from a kitchen in a well established Mall (Bayside). Only positive, waiter was punctual but...

You can never go wrong with this Nicaraguan restaurant if you are a meat eater. Prices are reasonable and their sangria is quite good.

We were here at an odd time in the middle of the afternoon, so the restaurant was quite quiet. The steaks were wonderful, the view was supreme! We loved it, and all at a reasonable price.

Ordering from Uber Eats, Los Ranchos, Bayside location, has cancelled my orders 5 times in the last months. The awful thing is that it states they are preparing the order and then 30-40 minutes later when the driver arrives at the restaurant, they cancel the order. It is a lack of responsibility to cancel orders, more so when the order is supposed to arrive.

Went to Los Ranchos with large group on a business trip. In the middle of a shopping/restaurant plaza where you feel like you could be in Anywhere USA- almost nothing big chains. Service was very good, especially for such a big group. Food overall was good- got the Churasco Los Ranchos which was a 12 oz steak that was very tender and tasty, especially with the chimichuri sauce. Beans and rice and crispy plantain chips on the side were served family style. Salad Was nothing special at all- some iceberg lettuce and a single tomato. Why bother. Finished with a good Special coffee with espresso and whipped cream.

Wow what a great place meat eaters heaven, well if you come from the UK it is. Fish is great also, ordered the Bbq Ranchero omg my mouth is watering just thinking about it, the fresh Mojito. Staff were a big help, loved the fact that they did not hover, would I recommend it in a heart beat.

My choice was a really good one. A big piece of mediun-rare certified angus meat. Argentinian style with and amazing chimichurri i really missed a baked poatato. the mixture between meat and rice/beans is not the best option in my opinion. at the end you are completely and insanely full. Rice, beans and chips steal the spotlight from that delicious meat. Anyway if you are hungry this is the place.

We stayed the night in Miami before our cruise, found this great steakhouse to eat at for dinner. It was a super busy night out in the area, we were surprised to be seated very quickly. We had a wonderful server, and a beautiful view

I had a horrible experience at Los Ranchos at Bayside. Quite possibly the worst experience I have had in the last 10 years. I would steer clear of this restaurant. I visited with my wife and another couple for an early dinner. We were going to attend an event at the American Airlines Arena next door. The event started at 830p, so we thought going there at 5p would give us plenty of time. In a normal universe that would be the case but not at Los Ranchos Bayside. We arrived and the restaurant was at about 20% occupancy. We were seated directly. We had to wait forever for the waitress to come over. When she finally did we placed our complete order with the exception of dessert. It took 30 minutes to get the appetizers. The entree took another 90 minutes. All the while, the waitress came by once and that was when I summoned her to ask if they were slaughtering the steer for our meal. She explained that it was taking so long because we had ordered different temperature steaks. What a line of complete baloney. She obviously forgot to place the entree order. When we received the entrees, three of the four steaks were undercooked. At this point, I really got upset, and we sent one of the steaks back. I asked to speak with the manager. She did not come. I had to get up from my table to ask for the manager at the greeting stand a second time, and then she came to our table. I explained that the service and food were disgraceful. She began making bogus excuses. I just could not hear anymore. We ordered a dessert, paid and left very disappointed. The bottom line is this particular restaurant is one to avoid. It is poorly managed, and the staff are obviously very inexperienced. With so many excellent dining options in Miami, I wouldn't even try this. Go somewhere else!

Always a great meal and tremendous value. The churrasco is fabulous and we will always return when in Miami. I do wish they would make more of an effort to ensure the floors were better cleaned, the entrance mat clean and the restrooms should be refreshed more often. It would create a better atmosphere.

Went here with team mates after a long day of meetings. Very enjoyable and great tasting food. I tried the house specialty, "Baby Presidente" center cut beef steak. Yummy!

This is a Nicaraguan restaurant that specializes in grill meats, gallo pinto (a type of white rice and red beans mixture) and thin chips of green bananas (salty type)..Very good food the price is affordable and it is located in Bayside which is a hot touristy spot in Downtown Miami. By the way, the sangria here is pretty good.

We visited on a Friday night while visiting Miami. We were a group of 6 family members. We arrived around 8pm and were seated right away, as it was not too busy. Since we had not eaten at a Nicaraguan steak house before, we asked the waitress some questions. She was not very responsive and did not offer any helpful information. We figured it out on our own. Each entree comes with a small, simple garden salad which is brought out before the meal. Our party ordered the churrasco steak (both in the baby size and the regular size) and the churrasco chicken. The maps are served with gallo pinto (rice and beans) and plantains (both sweet and fried). Since we had one member of our party allergic to plantains, they were able to ensure his plate was free of plantains. There were also three sauces on the table, chimichurri, salsa, and pickled onions. We all thought the food was very good, although a little too salty. The chimichurri was very good with the steak. The coffee and dessert after dinner were also good. The service could have been more friendly. It was almost like they couldn't wait to get rid of us.

Been coming to this place every time I go to Miami. Located at Bayside Marketplace it has probably the best churrasco steak with generous portions of rice and plantains and added a large fresh lobster tail that make you eat it nice and slow to make it last a lifetime. Place is beautiful inside overlooking the marina and famous bridge. Go to Bayside.. Go to Los Ranchos. I do every time!!

Went there for lunch, falled in loved with the food there. Awesome service, tenderloin perfectly cooked and the mild jalapeños sauce is to fell off his chair. Sitting next to the windows with marina view. Don't hesitate try it!

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was perfect. My only regret is that we only had time to eat there once before our cruise. It was a little hard to find (second floor, last business on the waterside). If you are looking for a quality meal, this is definitely worth the venture.

When I lived in South Florida in the past, Los Ranchos at Bayside was one of my favorite restaurants. Fast forward 16 years and I was in Miami with my wife to celebrate her 10th anniversary. I wanted to treat her to a special meal. And it was, indeed, a special meal. I would like to give a special shout out to our server, Lissandra. She was amazing, and we were amazed to find out that this was her first day on the job!

While walking Bayside, we noticed this restaurant. They do not have their menu posted outside so we checked the internet. Food options looked great so we tried it. Food was excellent. Tables are clothed and places are set. Our waiter was very professional and kind. Drinks were quick and food was brought to us without much of a wait. The steak was nothing short of amazing!

Beautiful steakhouse Resraurant with beautiful view of the bay. Prices are reasonable, great ambiance and very good service. Their Tres Leches dessert is a must try as they are the restaurant that introduced that fabulous dessert to the community and made it famous around the world.

Enjoy the view and the food, try the steak and cappuccino! Sorry no photos of the steak! 2nd floor in the mall off the beaten path! Fair price for the food quality.

The place is very loud, the service very slow the waiter doesn't speak the food arrived cold, the bathrooms were very dirty, looks like nobody care. There are plenty restaurants in Miami better. This one is a tourist trap. Not recommended.

Great food, service and ambiance! I used this restaurant to host our welcome dinner for our wedding guests and everyone enjoyed the meal so much! Will make a point of going again the next time we are in Miami!

The most exquisite "churrasco" is right here! Not cheap but, if you want to talk about great meat, this is it. Don't miss the "chimichurri". You can use it on top of the meat, spread it on bread, or anyway you like. What a flavor!

Place has great food. Mojitos had me feeling nice right away :). Tostones with chorizo and mozzarella - all I can say is "WOW"...

Food was reasonably priced, our concierge recommended this place to us. It's located in a mall in downtown Miami. I wasn't very hungry so just got an appetizer and it was very good.

Delicious "El Presidente Steak" Food tasty and the view is awesome. My wife especially liked its in the Bay Side Shopping mall. If you have an opportunity eat here. Friendly professional staff. Kudos to their Chef

We have enjoyed eating at Los Ranchos for many years. The Bayside venue offers nice views of the Bay and is a pleasant relaxing atmosphere; especially if you dine early evening. Service is always good and pleasant. We were disappointed on our last visit as the Churrasco size is much smaller but price is still the same. I love their traditional rice and beans which was always generous and came around for a second serving. No more! first serving and no return.

The service is nothing to write home about. Very American and not at all formal. The meat dishes, however, are very good.

Excellent rest to have lunch next to a feat view of Biscayne Bay at BaySide Mall. Very casual. Lunch special 12 Noon to 5pm

The churrasco continues to be absolutely top notch. The location and ambiance very good as is the service

6 of us decided to visit this steakhouse whilst having a few days vacation in Miami before heading out on a cruise. The place itself was pretty empty (never a good sign), but as we were hungry decided to give it a go. There were quite a few staff hanging around chatting but our order was taken pretty quickly. Unfortunately they got it wrong with some dishes not arriving as ordered. When asked for the non-delivered side dishes the server wasn't too happy and a bit surly....not really good customer service I had the "mini" Presidente steak as recommended. It was really nice tasty and tender but thought it was a little overpriced for what it was. All in all it was OK... but the service below my expectations for a restaurant in the US.

The churrasco steak medium rare was supper yummy. Small potion of crispy bread 1st, followed by a small salad, then main entry come with rice with beans, sweet plantain, crispy chips. Very nice staff, great view and very clean.

Have been a number of times over the years. Food distinctly Argentine with great chimichurri sauce. Service was competent. Oddly no Argentine wine only Chilean.

Food was good, not as it was a year ago. The flavor is not the same, meat a little salty. Service was good and the margaritas were too. Good atmosphere, very clean and great presence.

The churrasco is the best I have ever had! It melts in your mouth good! I hardly ever finish my plate, but I made room for this beautiful meal! Everything was delicious and the services was wonderful! A great experience for my first Miami trip! Will definitely be going back here!!

Our tour guide recommended Los Ranchos Steakhouse as a good place to eat after a long exhausting day tour of the Miami downtown. We were not disappointed as the food was excellent and plentiful. The staff was attentive and checked with us frequently throughout our meal. The only downside of the evening was that we felt rushed as we had our meal in front of us just after receiving our cocktails.

The food and service is wonderful and the steak and seafood is great. But most of this a romantic place to dine and celebrate milestones in life. Will return soon!!!!

Had seen the restaurant when we first arrived at bayside and thought it looked good so decided to try it last night....... Wish I hadn't, as we walked in the noise was overwhelming, this meant the table staff couldn't hear me (or maybe that's the excuse they would use). Our server clearly wasn't listening as she seemed more interested in the next customer(there were plenty of waiting staff so don't know why she didn't listen to us). Good selection of drinks menu looked good, 3 meals ordered all arrived cold and not complete , my partner had to ask 3 times to get the meals sorted, they still forgot the French fries. Food was good in the end, shame it wasn't everything we ordered. A complimentary drink was offered to 2 of us but not our third guest. Waitress seemed upset with no tip being left..........really!!! Would I go there again, no, would I recommend, food was good, service was shocking. A real let down.

I've been to Los Ranchos several times with friends and family. Honestly, the one thing I can say is that it's a complete crapshoot as to whether it'll be any good or not. On days that the food is good, it's very tasty, but on days like today, it's frankly subpar. Sometimes, my uncle has ordered the baby (regular) churrasco and I've ordered the baby presidente, and his has actually turned out better despite the hefty $30 price tag on mine. Warning: Although the cut of meat is naturally soft and tasty, they overcook it a lot! I order my steak medium-rare and it typically comes out medium-well.

Where shall I start. Greasy. Food swimming in fat. Food awful. Cheap and not even cheerful. Avoid No wifi Please sort this out

There are quite a few good restaurants in the area and after much deliberation we chose Los Ranchos, and were very happy that we did. The table we were shown to gave a nice (not brilliant) view of the marina and our server was very friendly and helpful. We both had the steak and lobster which was cooked well and tasted delicious. The whole evening was very pleasant, and quite boozy which always makes for a good experience. My only gripe was that as the gratuity was based on a percentage cost of our meal I ended up paying over $30 for service I considered good but not exceptional. As this had already been added to the total I felt it would have spoilt our evening to ask for it to be reduced.

Been here with a large group and the restaurant specializes in meats mostly. They were just OK but the prices are reasonable.

This is not your ordinary steak house and you will be surprised with the powerful flavor of all the dishes!! Explore and try platters with flavorful toppings they add to the meat. I love the Petite Mignonetas, the “Jalapeno” Beef Tips and the churasco. Try the Presidente churasco if the wallet allows. They do carry specialty wines which you will not find in the store so don't forget to ask the waiter if they have any special wines to pair with your dish!! Don't forget the Tres Leches for desert. A gem at a great price!!!

The food was interesting and good. The rating would have been better if it was not for a inadequate waitress

Great Latin Cuisine. Tried a few different chicken dishes and the Chicken Churrasco was by far the best. Well cooked and thin with no fatty pieces. My daughters and I loved the Tres Leches cake! Unfortunately, the service just wasn’t up to par. Multiple wait staff were very inattentive. Our waiter seemed to always be in a hurry and leaving before we finished our requests. If the service was better, I would say a solid 4 stars. Until then, 3 stars.

Good location when visiting the Bayside area in Miami, nice atmosphere, and very tasty food: the fish we had was delicious. And the service is also good. I would recommend it.

This place is often crowded with mainly tourists and the service is messy but the food is good. If you are lucky to get a table next to the windows you will also have a nice view over the harbour and Biscayne Bay.

Used to be great. Used to be our favorite. What does it say when the red beans and rice are 100 times better than the steak? The plantains were very hard and undercooked. The service was fantastic and the sangria excellent. Truth is; we won’t go back. Just not worth the prices.

We chose a variety of tapas and one was more delicious than the next! Took me back to delicious Nicaraguan friends. Great Choice, great food, great prices!

Great service, great food, good prices, nice drinks. One of the best restaurants in Miami, with great Nicaraguan dishes and International cuisine.

The President steak is the tenderest meat you will ever have. I have been to this restaurant no less than 20 times in the last 10 years or so and I have never ordered anything else. Guaranteed to please.

We came here because we saw a Groupon for it. This turned out to be the best meal we had in Miami! We both got fajitas and they were well seasoned, I had the leftovers the next day and it was still amazing. I liked how the sides came around and were replenished as needed. He just comes around and adds more rice to your plate. Oh and the view was perfect! All the staff were friendly and sincere. I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Miami.

The place has excellent service, good steaks & excellent sides all you want, I think it is a bit overpriced but the good food & service, compensate for it

Great restaurant to go to for dinner and drinks before any event at the AAA. Usually go before a Heat game

One year later I was here again. And for me it is still the best solution for dining at the Bayside. Hope to cone again during 2018

After a day of sightseeing Los Ranchos was just right for a relaxing meal. Both our meals were good. Overall a pleasant experience.

This restaurant branch is in a great location in Bayside, great water view, good food and good prices. The location in Bayside (in itself a destination) is perfect if you are planning to spend some time window shopping, eating, drinking and touristing in the waterfront of Miami. It is very conveniently located across American Airlines Arena

This steakhouse is located in Bayside Marketplace. There are a lot of restaurants and places to eat here. But Los Ranchos is the place to dine. We came here to celebrate my father in law 90th birthday. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. The service was great and professional. This place makes the best churrasco, which is an inside skirt steak. It is served with gallo pinto and fried plantains. (Rice mixed with beans=gallo pinto). The waiters were very attentive to our needs and were always prompt for anything we needed. There is an upstairs where we were and a downstairs with a nice view of the bay. This place doesn't get all the high marks of other well-known places in Miami, but it should. Los Rancos should be a place to dine if you are visiting Miami. They made my wife and father in law very happy that we came here to celebrate his birthday. FYI this restaurant serves a traditional Nicaraguan type food. Which is where my wife is from, and everyone agreed, the food was phenomenal.

Spanish steak what flavor, met a relative here and enjoyed the churrasco los ranchos while he had a jalapino favored meat.We go to Cuban restaurants in northern New Jersey and can pay triple the price and they do not come close to the flavor they serve here.Excellent service with reasonable prices.

Excellent food as usual at the Falls restaurant. German was very prompt and attentive. We go back again and again. Very good.

The steak was super delicious and in the right point , the rice and beans was very good not greasy like in other places.sweet plantains, to die for . The ambiance is casual elegant very nice to talk and relax enjoying your wine and meal. The place was almost full when we got there and now we know why. Our waiter service was courteous and fast with an smile. We definitely be back for that superior steak and ambiance

It was good. We were a group of 10 and the food was excellent. Wonderful view. Good attentions and the steak was cooked to perfection. Is not a formal place but with great food

Loved it! The steaks were excellent cooked perfectly and tasted great. The service is excellent as well. I really enjoyed the tres leches cake too!

The food was ok, not seasoned well, but ok. The prices and location were fine. The service was friendly and professional. I actually had leftovers and I got sick the next day when I finished my steak. It tasted "old". That's not supposed to happen. It makes me wonder about the initial quality of food.

We have been going here for years and always enjoyed it, but this last time the steaks came out over cooked & they seem to be of poorer quality compared to past visits. LR Still offers pretty good value and their waterfront location can't be beat. Best Rice & Beans in Miami (served on a SilverPlatter).

Had some family in town that I hadn't seen for many years. Even though my husband had visited Los Ranchos several years ago for a business lunch, I had not. Because it was earlier than many Miamians dine (approx 7:30), the restaurant was relatively empty on the Wednesday evening. Although initially a concern, I shouldn't have worried. We were escorted to 2 tables put together for our party of 5, but we were initially served water and our waiter (Cesar) was immediately there. He answered our questions, clarified the menu choices, and made recommendations. We had the combination appetizer, which was nice to try the different things offered. For our meals, the churrasco steak was excellent, both the presidente cut and the "regular" one. The salad and dressing was very good; the rice and beans, plantain chips, and fried plantains very flavorful. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive, and also not hurried. We had a most enjoyable dinner.

I grew up in Miami, but don't live there now. Well, we took the whole family there recently to catch up. My hometown changes every few years, and even with all that, I still love it. Sometime ago when we were still living there, a local restaurant opened named Los Ranchos. Well, it's still there, and better than ever. First of all, if you go to the Bayside location (there are several), you'll probably meet Odali, the great young lady who runs the hostess station. She's great, and does a great job. If you have a choice, ask to sit in Caesar's station... one of the greatest waiters in Miami. You may know that Bayside is Miami's waterfront "festival marketplace"--our answer to Boston's Quincy Market or Baltimore's Harbor Place. It's free (all you pay is parking...in the nice garage.) There's always music, great shops, lots of souvenirs, and a crowd enjoying themselves. Bayside is right on Biscayne Blvd, actually IN beautiful Bayfront Park. in the center of downtown. But don't worry...just go. It all works. Find Los Ranchos, 2nd floor, the north end of Bayside, overlooking the marina with tour boats that can show you all the glitz and glamour of our skyline, movie stars' houses, etc...before or after you eat. Just walk out and buy a ticket and you're on the bay cruise...It's always fun, and not expensive. Anyhow, Los Ranchos is a Nicaraguan steakhouse which took Miami by storm as soon as they opened years ago. Deliciously marinated steak, like you've probably never tasted it..plus their signature red beans and rice, a Central American staple. For over 15 years we have taken our visitors there, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has loved it. It's always great, mid-priced, and absolutely delicious. Service is special too--a great staff, and servers walking around offering you more if you clean your plate. There are several types of their steaks (and other things) to choose from, but I recommend the famous specialty...their always-great "Churrasco." There's also fantastic chimmichuri sauce on the table; spoon on as much as you like! I guarantee you'll love the flavor. Miami has lots to enjoy, but whatever you do, DON'T miss Los Ranchos.

Cuban food in Bayside- the best of both worlds. Bayside has a lot of things to do- it is a marketplace, has restaurants and bars. Los Ranchos is a classic, Miami place to try a great mojito and have some vaca frita (shredded beef), with rice and plantains.

This was one of my favorite restaurants. Growing up in Miami, we would visit Bayside to have dinner at this location. We went back to visit last week and found that Los Ranchos at Bayside is permanently closed.

I was strolling the mall, as my wife was replacing some Mother's Day gifts. We had our youngest grandaughter with us, and decided to check on this restaurant. Very welcoming, and customer service driven hostess; the best of the team. The food was delicious; my wife and me loved it, and the waiter was able to get some choice for the little baby. I had a juicy churrasco with vegies that tasted like a million dollars, and my wife had a chicken Parmesan and some Italian entrees. The place is welcoming, spacious, leaving you with a desire to come back. The experience would improve with a more intensive customer service training for the staff. Train them to be more engaging and attentive to details with the patrons/customers and avoid the employee chit/chat. Smiles are very important and the personalized attention to customers. These last two call for improvement in the place. That's management responsibility, and the rest is done by staff enjoying what they do. All in all, the place is good. I recommend it for a nice meal experience in an average restaurant.

Imagine biting into a piece of bread with dipping sauce, and biting into a hard object! We ordered dinner at the bar before an event at the American Airlines Arena. Needless to say, my husband was quite shocked to have a foreign object in his dipping sauce. The bartender seemed concerned and said he was going to talk with the manager. He left and came back, but it actually too a while before he said anything. Then he told us it wasn't glass (which we'd thought), but it was a little chunk of acrylic. He simply apologized and said our drinks were on him. Can you imagine?! In most restaurants, the manager would come running over and say "the meal is on us." We never saw a manager. Unbelievable. Needless to say, we won't be going back to Los Ranchos. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the steak tasted good.

Dirty table cloth, tough meat, approximate service. Lunch started with dry bread a a tris of tasteless sauces, including plain oil infused of fresh onion and room temperature squabby pickles. Tipical American fail on restoration

Service was no good, we wait a lot of time for our food and my dish didn't taste good, the fish and wasn't the better, you can look the dish presentation in the pic below.

Can begin to say what a great place to go and have a dinner. View of the bay was great and the food was amazing. Service was very professional and polite.

Enjoyed a fine meal, we had fish and steak, both very good and with a sangria was a good end to great day on tour in Miami. Sat looking out over the marina and was well worth it. View and meal very good

This is my favorite restaurant in Miami, the meat is very good, the best churrasco and gallo pinto rice,i always want to come back. Besides the view is beautiful and the service is great.

waited 20 minutes for drink, 25 minutes for meal. Food was great, bartender was fantastic, didn't let beligerent people try to cut in line and order before us. Pearl, hostess in spite of being badgered by hostile adults, seated every one in turn. Peter our waiter was cute, professional and prompt. This place hustles and got everyone in and our before our 8pm Eagles show at American Airlines Arena.

Not exactly as good as its namesake in Nicaragua, but the Churrasco is well worth a visit. And the fried plaintains (also known as patacones or chifles) add to the Nicaraguan flavor of Los Ranchos)

I had the absolute best meal of my life there. Shrimp in a creamy jalapeño sauce with beans and rice, plantains and salad. Prices were very resonable. My husband had the steak medalians and ate everything on his place which is a very rare event. Our waitress was attentive and we had a beautiful view. All for less than $50.00. I’d go there again right now!

The staff of Los ranches were great and accommodating. The for was good.i order presidente steak it was great.

Oh I can’t believe this place! Horrible service. We were there with friends the kids has a lot of allergies and asked for the steak on the grill with some salt and they refuse to provide the service. Waooooo I can’t believe this. We are out eating all time and never had a place do this to us. Don’t ever go there specially if you have anyone that suffers from any allergies!

Average quality salads. Good beer. Not the hottest place in town but good service, so overall acceptable.

Despite the great reviews I’ve read about Los Ranchos Steakhouse, I felt the need to write about our experience. This restaurant has a very nice ambiance and a beautiful view but the food is not above par. One guest in our party ordered the “Churrasco Los Ranchos” medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak arrive raw and we had to send it back, twice. Another guest ordered the “Baby Churrasco” and received the Grilled Tender Tip Fillets. I felt horrible since it was her birthday and her order wasn’t right. The rice also tasted like it was microwaved or boiled in a bag. Really, all 3 dishes had white rice but they are tasted different. The wait staff seemed hurried and annoyed that we had questions. When the manager stopped by to see how things were going we voiced our concerns. After asking what she can do to make it up to us we mentioned we just wanted this dining experience to be great for one of the guest’s birthday. We asked that make they can make a nice ice cream sundae. They brought out a cold brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s not that they didn’t have the ingredients to make the sundae; they didn’t have the time or care to make a customer’s experience a special one. We couldn’t wait to pay the bill and move on. On a positive note, the grilled Salmon was on point!

The restaurant itself is nothing special: housed in the corner of a shopping area overlooking the bay, the best time to visit is at night, when the lights from the bridges are on and the water reflects quietly against the floor to ceiling windows. As many have mentioned already, the churrasco is a must. The cut is so tender and the gallo pinto not as heavy as it looks. Sauces as freshly made. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. Prices are medium range, but definitely cheap for the amount of food you will get. Everything one can expect from eating at a Latin restaurant

Food was great service was 1st class. We went evening and they sat us close to the windows for a great view. The place was in need of a little more upkeep which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5 star.

I have been going to Los Ranchos for the past 25 years. I have never had a bad meal there. The food is simple but fresh. Service is always impeccable. The steak is always delicious and fresh. A must go place for a hearty meal.

Going here for years. This may be my last visit. Steak was very chewy and hard to cut. Was one of my favorite restaurants. Definitely not as good ,a diminished product.

First things first, no, this is not a paid for review. We, a family of five from Switzerland, went on advise by the concierge of our hotel to the Miami bayside to get some nice skyline images at night. When appetite struck we found Los Ranchos and decided to try it after having a short review of the menu. Service was great. Water and little somethings to eat were literally on the table when we took our places. Since this was a steakhouse I went for the Churrasco Presidente, yet, with the US portions in mind, I chose the Baby Presidente. The others had a variety of other dishes and they were all tasty and my family liked it. I did not like the baby...no...I loved it. I totally loved it. It was awesome. In fact, it was the best I ever had. It was smooth, tasty, perfect. Don't get me wrong, I did not try all Churrasco places. I'm not an expert. This is my very personal experience. If there is a better place out there, so be it. But I never had a better piece of meat and I was seconded by my family. This experience, together with the service is for me a clear 5 point score, never mind that the prices are not that cheap. My philosophy is that good things cost a good price. Los Ranchos lived up to my philosopy

Look, this is over-priced real estate, so these franchise owners want to get something back...cheap staff who don’t care, don’t refill, disappear for ages, and the meat is mediocre, so in the mini-mall go to five guys! If you do decide the Present churrasco is the only one to fo for. Looking for the best steak in Miami, go to BLT Prime at the Trump National and order the Cowboy Steak!

I really have not been here since I was a kid. I guess since I brought my friend who was visiting from Australia here, it was OK. It's nicer at night for sure. It's great because they have a wonderful restaurant, Los Ranchos, which I have always loved and it did not disappoint. There is a pretty marina that this establishment is built around that offers tourist rides on boats. This includes scenic rides over to the celebrity islands and also other things like jet boats and the like. Lots of fun stuff. At the end of Bayside, when you go outside, there's a beautiful view of downtown. Let's not forget that one of Miami's main attractions will be built very close by, SkyRise. All in all, this is an exciting venue but I would not go out of my way to go here if you're only in Miami or Miami Beach for a few days.

Room was cold, steaks were not very tender. Flavor was good though, and the plantains tasty. We expected better based on their reputation, but still ok.

We have eaten many times at the Falls location. This was the first time at the location. It can't be worst. They have taken a nice eatery and turn it into a cafeteria . We waited 30minutes only to be seated at table which was in the line to get in. The atmosphere is gone. We won't be back.

I thought the only good thing about our visit here was that the steak itself was cooked nicely. Not fantastic, but not bad either. The rest was a huge miss.

I ordered the churrasco and it came out dry. The beans and rice were okay and the plantains were edible. The best things about this place were the view of the bay, and hospitality of the servers.

Taste of our choice was really ok. Friendly service included a calm place in the restaurant. The price is not according to the food they brought us. But maybe the best place in the Bayside shopping center.

Ate here twice over a three day period. First time during the week for lunch. Had the grilled shrimp over a fresh green salad. Large shrimp grilled to perfection. Husband had the beef stroganoff in sauce not in noodles. Ver flavorful and prices were astounding for weekly specials. $7-$8 pp. got a draft on tap. This past Saturday we had a late lunch and ordered their specialty Churrasco Los Ranchos , a 12 oz juicy and flavorful charbroiled tenderloin which we shared . I don't eat meat that much unless it's filet but this was just delicious. Came with salad and rice and beans and plantains. We tried the Nicaguaran beer to top it off. A light simple brew . We never get dessert but decided to try the native dessert Pio Quinto (rum cake with cinnamon custard) delightful , and the choc molten lava cake. ( pass on this one, too pricey for what it was) . But all in all a great find in this tourista marketplace. Lots of locals eating here. Upstairs at back of stairs. On the water.

This is not the best choice if you are just 2 people in my opinion. I would hate for someone else to have my experience on a date or special occasion. It could prove rather embarrassing. To start, reception person had limited training or experience based on how they received guest, led them to a table and then presented a menu. Unfortunate since they are the first person a guest will interact. Once seated,it took 7 minutes (by my watch) for a waiter to arrive at the table to take our simple order. After a long wait with no check-up from the server the steaks arrive on an empty plate and the server runs away. We could see that our waiter was addressing larger tables with great energy but unfortunately that energy was unavailable for us from anybody. The steaks arrived but the rice and plantains are no place to be found. Nobody even looks in our direction. We were ignored. It is our understanding that someone should arrive promptly with sides. Again, we have to wait 5 minutes (by my watch) watching steaks get cold since there are no sides. Nobody returns or brings sides. Nobody even looks in our direction. We were ignored. Finally, with great difficulty we get the attention of someone who obviously felt bothered that we wanted what we ordered. After the long wait someone arrives with the sides to join our barely warm steaks. Getting water or bread service at our table was rather slow also. Seeing the servers jumping to address the bigger tables and us being ignored was a rather distasteful and embarrassing experience. Requesting the bill was again another work in progress. Seems to me like the servers try to avoid getting assigned the smaller tables (probably due to tip potential) and the support staff has weak training. It was a rather embarrassing experience.

I have been here for corporate lunches and the food is fantastic! No matter what you order you will not be disappointed ever.

Good steak at Bayside, make the best out of visiting the famed tourist trap. No Happy Hour specials but decent food overall.

I go to this restaurant when I'm with a huge group of people. Craving Hispanic food? Perfect place to eat at when you're enjoying Bayside Miami. They serve delicious meats, rice plantains and the portions are huge. They don't just bring you the food served already; The waiters pass by to serve the amount of food you'd like right on your plate. Food tastes good, nothing super extraordinary or over the top but good choice to make if you're in the area and want good food with amazing customer service. Beautiful, clean place as well!

The quality of the food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. However, the serving staff greatly varies from rude to excellent; it is a matter of luck and you never know which server you will get. Our last server never offered refills and seemed to be bothered by every request we made though in previous visits we had much better servers.

Dear Los Ranchos - how I have missed you. I don't understand why you do not have perfect ratings here. I went to dine here, reluctantly, but so happy I did. I have a dear friend visiting from Australia. I took her here since it's been so long since I have visited. I told her that I remembered this place being wonderful but no guarantees as the ratings did not seem up to par. I'm glad it was exactly the same as it used to be. The steak was unbelievably good and so was the grilled chicken. The portions were fantastic and the service was polite. Was it expensive? Yes it was. Was it worth it?, Absolutely. You have never disappointed me and thank you for being the same wonderful restaurant I have experienced in the past. I shall show you're disappointed users and readers that don't know any better how wonderful you are by displaying a couple of photos of your delicious food. Have a wonderful night, I look forward to seeing you again.

Fantastic Steaks & great rice & beans - Nicaraguen style!! Doesn't get any better that this. Located in Miami's own Bayside Marketplace your sure to enjoy yourself all day and night!

I had made reservations for a party of 9 in advance. This Latin American steak house has moved upstairs from it's original location at the end of one of the shops and restaurant buildings at Bayside Marketplace across from the American Airlines arena. We took the Metro People Mover from Brickell Ave., and got off at Bayfront Park. The walk proved to be longer than I thought. Our friends were waiting for us and service began immediately. Our meals were hot, cooked to perfection and the service was great. I've been to this lower location previously. It always amazes me when I see locals at a restaurant; you know it must be good.

I went to celebrate with my wife to the Flagler's restaurant. We searched the menu over the internet and the prices compare to reputable American steakhouses; it’s not cheap. At arrival, the first impression was the furniture was very extravagant and elegant contrasting with the excessive illumination of fluorescent Chinese bulbs, which depicted more of a stadium than fine and expensive dining. We decided to stay as all restaurants were full for holidays. The actual food prices were 15% higher over the internet menu. The steak was good, the side dishes too greasy; no options were available, but only Nicaraguan goodies. The food is exactly the same of the popular Nicaraguan Fritangas (fried food), consisting of rice with beans, plantain fritters and grilled meat, but the price is 300% higher. A Latino friend laughed and recommended better going to “Los Ranchos Paper-Plate” or ‘fritangas’ for only 1/3 of Los Ranchos. Drinks are also overpriced so the eating experience ended up high. Although the taste was not bad, it was not appropriate for the occasion. Summary: the waiters were kind, the food tasty, the prices excessive, and the brilliancy of the ambience absolutely horrible. At least, dim down the lights to enjoy a fine, romantic and expensive dining.

The food is great and the ethnic experience for som one from Wisconsin is wonderful. Over a 20 year period of visiting Miami I always try to visit Los Ranchos. Disappointed to learn the Falls Shopping Center location closed during the last three years.

I visit the restaurant for lunch with other co-worked, the meal (Presidente-plate), the staff, place and view are excellent
More Food Than We Could Eat
Didn't look like much from the outside. Inside is simple and comfortable. We ordered Sangria which came in Large Glasses. They put on table warm bread with 3 sauces. We ordered the Chicken Fajita's, which came out on a large plate with fried plantains. They also gave you rice w/beans, lettuce, cheese, refried beans & guacamole. There was more food on our plate then we could eat. Best if you speak Spanish but they kind of understood us. Will Absolutely go back again!
