This new “Lotus of Siam” is gorgeous; bright, clean, beautiful and modern. I sat at the bar and had friendly encounters with staff; front desk, manager and bartender. Food is beautifully prepared and tasty. Great selection of beers, wines etc. It’s only a $10 Uber from most strip hotels.

Food is AMAZING!! This place is always packed so we made prior reservations for a Sunday dinner. Top favorite dishes and highly recommend are: Garlic Prawns, Masaman Curry, Crispy Duck Chu-Chee and Pad Thai. The Whole Red Snapper with Sarm Rod sauce is pretty good too—the fish is deep fried with a sweet, sour and spicy sauce—but it’s expensive, $120 for the whole fish! Not a fan of the Golden Tofu, it’s pretty bland. For cocktails, the Lychee Blossom is delicious!

I read many great reviews of this place which always makes me skeptical. But those people were right! Since moving here last year I have been on a mission to find the best Thai food in the valley. I may have found it. The atmosphere as well as the food are top notch. Although from the outside one might think "what a dump". they do need to clean up the parking lot and replace the window in front. The well informed server helped me with vegetarian and non-deep fried choices. (there were mostly deep fried items on the appetizer list). I ordered the dumplings which they offered to stream instead of deep fry. The Tom Kha soup by far the best I've ever had was tart with lime, chock full of veggies and delightfully coconutty. Pad Thai which is usually my go to order the first visit to any new Thai was great as well. Highly recommend this place!

We booked a table and arrive to find that we have to wait in line as it wasn’t ready. The staff were helpful. The number of vegetarian or fish choices wasn’t great. The service was okay. eat a lot of Asian food and my husband‘s verdict on the Thai curry was it tasted like half cooked meat in dishwater. It’s not somewhere I’d recommend to be honest.

Lotus food is amazing and easily deserves a 5 star but I really dislike the sneaky upsell approach the servers use. If they offer or suggest anything different than what you order find out how much it will cost! Perhaps a renowned restaurant like this can change this practice and be that much better?

Due to traffic, we arrived at the restaurant 2 minutes past their 15 minute grace period. The manager was extremely rude and refused to sit us as the kitchen was closing soon. The manager of the restaurant I guess doesn’t realize she is in a service oriented business. She could have sat us and said please order quickly rather with a smug attitude say sorry you are 2 minutes late. Really disappointing experience

Elevated Dining Experience This was our second trip to Lotus of Siam at the Red Rocks Resort. Our family birthday diner for my son was made even better by the fantastic food and service.

Well most of the time when you go to Thai restaurants, they aren’t really upscale and food is just ok. We saw the Lotus Siam reviews and I was not disappointed. The food and service were excellent! They also had a large number of dishes that can be made gluten free, which is important to me, because I have Celiacs. The restaurant was packed, but food still came in a reasonable time. The only criticism might be they need a bigger place. I will definitely go back, a fantastic restaurant.

An upscale Thai restaurant away from the follies of LV Strip. Surprisingly busy at the middle of the week, and lucky to get an immediate table without reservation. The menu is a short 2-page list, suggesting a chef who has mastered his/her craft. It also has full bar, with fine selections of wines. I recommend any of their dry German Riesling, which goes well with the subtlety of Thai flavors and also quenches the heat of chilies. I went for von Winning trocken. I find the seafood list of entrees to be most suitable as appetizers. I went for the Salmon Larb. Strips of cooked Salmon spiced with onions, fish sauce and herbs served on a bed of arugula greens and slices of green cabbage. The cabbage is a terrific way to scoop the salmon. Lots of texture, balanced spice and tartness of a squeeze of lime. It is really fresh and and vibrant to the palate. Ah, the Riesling does cleanse the palate for the main course. Crispy Duck Khai Soi is truly magnificent. A northern Thai delight that one has to savor. Start with a spoonful of silken, surprisingly light coconut base broth. Ah it wakes the palate. Add more chilies, chili flakes, and fish sauce to your taste — the broth tasted grander. Add the other saucer of fresh onions and crispy fried noodles so delicately presented like a baby octopus. Then a bite of the duck - wow! Cooked to perfection, truly crispy though it’s on the broth, the fat remarkably rendered off. Then there’s the small portion of rice noodles deep in the broth. I’m not a fan of noodles, but this was truly something to savor. The last drop of Reisling truly made everything so satisfying. Sitting at bar is an experience truly delightful with so amiable bartender and sommelier! Kudos to the management for keeping the staff masked!

We arrived on a Monday afternoon. There was a wait but it was definitely worth it. We shared four meals and they were all excellent. We asked for very spicy and it sure was. We will be back!

Such amazing food and service! Some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in the U.S. especially their noodle dishes. Their noodles are so chewy and delicious much like in Thailand. Most other places in the U.S. make thick noodles that’s not that good. The service was really amazing as well.

Chaos at the entrance, long wait for service, but oh WOW, the tasty, high quality food is worth the hassle! Get the Northern dishes and ask for spice level 5 (if you can normally manage hot/suicide sauce in other restaurants)

I have been trying to get a reservation to this place for some time when i am in Vegas and finally did! The food was great with a very creative menu. The service was spot on. The place is very busy and a bit noisy but well worth the experience.

I found this restaurant in a list of top restaurants in Las Vegas and left wondering why. The ambiance is average, the service was ok, the food was inconsistent and the price was high for what we got. The one dish that I would say was worthy of accolades was the calamari with garlic pepper sauce. It was both unique and delicious. I only wish it were more of a complete meal. The portion was small and there were no vegetables with the dish. Our most disappointing dish by far was the green curry. It genuinely lacked flavor. It was almost as though they forgot to add curry to the dish and there wasn’t enough coconut milk. Whatever this restaurant did to deserve a James Beard nomination in 2011 needs to be revisited.

Score=1… have never in my life in all my culinary experiences left a restaurant and felt like I have been taken advantage of. That much that my wife who works in the food industry told me that enough is enough and a supposed nice night out and wine tasting experience turned into a night of total distain for eating out. We attended your Joh.Jos.Prum event for approx. $200 with taxes a head We were served 5 courses, sure…. Yet they were just portions I have never seen in all my years of dining… For $150, I expected Lotus of Siam to excel and be individual plates… yet we were served like cattle. The first dish was prawns, where 5 came to split 4 ways – classy!>! when I had to decide if someone who I have never met wanted the extra prawn!? Then a plate of crispy rice – which btw was one plate of crispy rice to split 4ways… I am still shaking my head at this whole experience!!! I could go on and on but I am so close to blowing up social media on this whole experience and I am keeping my calm as I write this on how much I feel you just took the “Vegas experience” as a local to the god damn extreme…. If you review your menu if we were to purchase these items on the menu it would have come to $209…. This included a whole fish for $100??? So why the hell where we charged $200 a head for 4 people with 2 I didn’t know and asked to share and self serve and decide who is getting their moneys worth…. Answer is nobody got any moneys worth or a great experience…

How long ago was that JB award? Had a couple of incredible meals at the Red Rock location and had even higher hopes for this one, but the only thing impressive was the staff. I ordered a spicy tequila cocktail, which I normally drink when dining out. I love a tajin-coated spicy margarita rim! This drink was strong, tasted okay (no comparison to the equivalent served at the Red Rock location). The rim of this drink was coated in a mix so spicy that it burned the skin on my lips. The Tom Kha goon was watery and acidic. The chicken pad seiw was also too acidic and the flavors were pedestrian compared to authentic Thai cuisine or even the elevated modern food being served at the other location. The interior was huge, definitely older, and kind of stuffy. No ambiance. Trash in the parking lot. When I was leaving, nearly every table in this place was filled. I don't get it.

This place is about the food! If you understand Thai and then this is Mecca. Crispy Rice is like nothing else I have ever tried.

Lotus of Siam is poor value for money. Dinner for two with three drinks was $240 tax and tip. The food was disapointingly average making it difficult to recomend this much hyped restaurant

Not really what I expect but was still good. The garlic prawns were delicious. Had some stickiness to them and a bunch of black pepper. Interestingly prepared though. They cut them down the back vein and pulled the meat out. So you get this perfect meat bite and then the other side is the crispy shell. Shell was more like a fish snack. The crispy duck curry was flavorful but the noodles themselves need a bit more body. The food came out surprisedly fast like they fried everything before service and kept warm. No way two entrees only takes 5 mins. Not complaining on the speed but the food could have been hotter and crispier. I order a 7 on the heat scale which was pretty week. Super inflated prices as I have had better Thai food for half the price. Expect 30+ for a specialty dish.

In the early afternoon of the last day of November, we gathered at the Lotus of Siam. Enjoying eating four delicious dishes among the nine. First dish is Deep fried Prawns with shells in a special garlic pepper sauce. Kids love this crispy shrimp dish. The second comes duck dish that is a Combination of roasted duck, pineapple, bell peppers, grapes and tomatoes in red curry base with a touch of coconut cream. A few of pieces of duck meats are shown and taste delicious. The third one is Nua Yang (Sliced Ribeye Steak ) that is Sua Rong Hai (Marinated Lotus Style jarew) and is the most delicious dish among the dishes. The fourth dish is Cashew Nut. That is Choice of protein in roasted chili paste, cashew nuts, and onions.

Food, Drinks and Service were outstanding, we sat in the bar area and both bartenders took very good care of us. The food was excellent. all the staff friendly and following the social distancing and sanitizing all areas.

We had a 8:00 am reservation on the Saturday before Christmas and this place was rocking. Beautiful inside with wood accents and Muriel’s throughout. Our drinks and appetizers came quicker than you could imagine. For our entrees they got one of them wrong and it took asking 4 times and for the rest of us to finish before it showed up. There was zero urgency to fix their mistake. The sad part is the person who paid is the one that’s meal came after everyone else was finish. Btw it was Pad Thai. How long should it take to fix that order. Great food but because of the big faux pas I give them three stars and with so many restaurants in town I may not make it back. If they would have done the right thing and. Moped the meal for their big mistake I would be raving about that but alas here we are…a money grab. Too bad I enjoyed all the food.

Lotus of Siam is a great Thai Food restaurant. The food is very fresh and authentic Thai Food. The restaurant has an outstanding wine list and features a lot of German sweet wines to offset the spicy Thai flavors. The servers were extremely attentive and very friendly. This restaurant has an extensive Northern Thai dish menu, which isn’t found at most Thai restaurant. I highly recommend the Lotus of Siam.

Lotus continues to be my favorite thai restaurant in the country( and I have been to dozens!) After a roof cave-in at their original location on sahara ( which should be reopening soon), the second location in the old Roys building on flamingo continues the tradition of great food. I love the combination of spices that chef Saipin uses in her dishes.

We visited recently with several local folks who claimed this would be the best Thai food we have had. We admitted when finished it met the hype and will be a regular stopping point inthe future.

It is a Thai food restaurant with a unique touch , well balanced dishes in flavor what is most important in this food so that flavors do not predominate. I recommend the Thom Kha Kai. The place although simple and no frills has been visited by great personalities throughout its history

We dined in their Flamingo Rd. location. It is considerably nicer and more comfortable than the old Sahara Rd. location. The food was the same, a bit pricier. We enjoyed the Mee Krob and the Duck Curry. We weren't crazy about the fried banana dessert.

Wrote this place down years ago and planned to visit if in Las Vegas. We had dinner here on a Friday night, no reservation. Waited about 30 minutes in the bar area on comfortable couches. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They are known for their Northern Thai dishes, so after some soup we ordered several dishes (skip the Pad Thai here!). Yes, they have a James Beard award prominently displayed in the entrance and Anthony Bourdain raved about the food as well. Overall, everyone had a great meal. Do yourself a favor, skip the buffet's and the chaos of Vegas and head to this restaurant. We will return.

When an old friend came to visit Vegas I decided to take him here for lunch since his wife is Asian. We have not eaten at the Lotus of Siam for years since the last time we tried at their Commercial Center location it was an hour wait. What a shock to see what has happened at their new Flamingo location near the Strip. Most entrees were $30 or more and then they added another $5 to each entrée for sauce which should be part of the dish. The appetizers came with microscopic bowels with tiny spoons so that you could not dip the tasteless appetizers to give them some flavor. My seared scallop dish came with only 3 small scallops for $30 plus $5 for the sauce which should have been part of the entrée for almost $12 a scallop! My wife’s Penang Chicken dish came with a small amount of tough chicken and a sauce that lacked flavor. My local Thai restaurant in Henderson has a Penang Chicken with tender chicken and a flavorful sauce at 1/3rd the price. I have removed Lotus of Siam from my contacts list since I would never go back and apologized to friend for taking him there for lunch. He agreed that the food was just OK and nothing to write home about. I would recommend that tourists and locals stay clear of this once revered establishment that is now relying on an old reputation instead of quality food.

One the best meals I have ever had, hands down. The garlic prawns and crispy rice are knockouts. I could have easily just had that for dinner but we couldn’t pass on the curry and crispy duck, the crab fried rice, chicken satay, pad thai all of which were fantastic. Penny and the team at Lotus are top notch.

A True Culinary Gem in Las Vegas Lotus of Siam exceeded all my expectations! As a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, I had heard so much about this place, and I’m thrilled to say it lives up to the hype. Food: The menu is extensive, offering a range of Northern Thai specialties alongside classic dishes. • The Khao Soi was absolutely divine—rich, creamy, and packed with bold flavors. • The Nam Kao Tod (crispy rice salad) was a flavor explosion with its perfect balance of tanginess and spice. • If you love seafood, don’t miss the garlic prawns—they were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, and the spice levels can be customized, making it perfect for everyone from mild eaters to spice enthusiasts. Service: The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the dishes and helped us choose the perfect wine pairing from their impressive selection. Ambiance: The restaurant has a cozy yet upscale vibe. The Flamingo Road location is modern and inviting, while still retaining an authentic charm. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a special occasion, the atmosphere works perfectly. Tips: 1. Make a reservation in advance—it’s popular for a reason. 2. Don’t rush your meal; take time to savor each dish. 3. End your meal with the mango sticky rice—it’s the perfect dessert to round off an incredible dining experience. Overall: Lotus of Siam is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Las Vegas, whether you’re a local or a tourist. The combination of authentic flavors, outstanding service, and welcoming ambiance makes it a standout dining destination. I can’t wait to return!

This restaurant has the dubious distinction of being both the worst Thai meal I have ever had, as well as the most expensive. the more people talk about a place, naturally, the higher the expectations.. I ordered Pad Chu Chee..Crispy Duck..it was both the stingiest portion ever, as well as a horrible meatless spoonful worth of bone to suck..with a portion a sticky rice for $37.. I will spare the description of the Salmon dish of my companion ..when we left, there were loads of people waiting outside.. go to any neighborhood Thai restaurant, you will save money, have better food, and most likely not feel ripped off and insulted..

Stopped by with friends - one of whom grew up in Thailand. He knows Thai food and has come here twice in three days. That says a lot. Tonight we were lucky enough to come with him. Wow. The food was delicious! We started with a Lychee Blossom cocktail. My fears it might be too sweet were unfounded. We shared the Nam Kao Tod although I would have preferred to keep it all to myself. Sweet & Sour Chicken, Laad Nam Plar and Cashew Nut Chicken were all fantastic. We found parking easily and were seated immediately even though it was busy and 6 pm. Our waitress was nice.

The menu is full of excellent choices the atmosphere is upbeat and fun staff is quick and friendly. Everything we had was wonderful. I’m confident everything on the menus is exceptional. We can’t wait to go back and try many more dishes.!simply the best Thai restaurant in all of Las Vegas

The place is hopping busy, so make sure you make a reservation. When you get there, you will know why it's busy. OMG, the food is so good. Our server was excellent. Though busy, she was still on top of everything and was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time there. It will not be our last though!

We had called in advance and made a reservation, so we were immediately seated once we arrived. The tables were spaced out very well. I had reviewed the extensive menu online, so I knew exactly what I wanted to order (Thum Ka Noon - $13) which is a Northern Thai specialty of pounded breadfruit mixed with pork. It did not come with rice, so I ordered a side of sticky rice ($4). My wife ordered garlic prawns ($32) which turned out to be all fried prawns in their shells without any sides, so she shared some of my rice. Some of the fried shells did not actually have a prawn inside which was odd. She also ordered a $5 cucumber salad which was a tasty blend of cucumbers and cilantro. It helped cool my mouth from my spicy Thum Ka Noon.

Beer(sp?) was a terrific server, hospitable and professional. Four of us had the tasting menu which was an incredible variety of unique and delicious food. Highly recommend this restaurant for a truly unique experience. We had an awesome Riesling as well.

I visited this restaurant as it had been recommended to me. You know it's a bad start when you have to stand around waiting for 10 minutes despite having a reservation. The service was average and the same can be said of the food. It would have been nice if we were given time to finish the entrees before the main course was brought to the table.

Great lunch buffet- delicious . One of the best restaurants in all of vegas- pad thai, thai tea, mango sticky rice, green curry chicken. prawn dish all must try

Beware this place extorts people for money. We sat down looked at the menu and the server showed us the price of $20 for an entree claimed it came with rice the end total for getting the duck curry was $46 plus $6 for rice. This isn’t right or fair. Now I spend an extra $50 for a place that is just okay. Stop trying to rip people off and scam them out of money. I will never ever be back here and I warn you to stay away.

Dinner at the bar solo trip. The bartender gave excellent guidance on what to eat. I eat Thai rarely. When the dinner arrived, I was able to sample the restaurant specific riesling and an alternate. I settled on the house reisling - the last time I had such a thing was in Paris. Very cool. The food was exquisite. I went with 2 out of 10 on the spicy scale, which was perfect. The main course reminded me of the best alsatian dinners I enjoyed more than 20 years ago.

We’ve been going here for 20 years and finally they get the recognition they deserve by winning the award for best Thai food in Vegas !!! So well deserved. The new location on Flamingo is bigger than the old but still has the same stunning food as always. Nice people great service ..our only problem was overeating. I mean…double wonton appetizers for dessert?!!

...and they added a fee for their employee health insurance ($2.98)... really? Not only do customers PAY their employees (via tip) now we pay their health insurance also? Next time I buy a car I'll be paying the sales guy a tip of 15% and his health insurance? The restaurant industry MUST change in USA and pay a fair wage (WHAT OTHER INDUSTRY do patrons pay the wages and the business owner off-loads his fiscal responsibility? It's all gone too far!

The baby corn chicken stir fry is 95% baby corn, 3% chicken... I dare you to even find the chicken. This happened last time too, I thought it was just one bad time, but happened a second time so I guess it's policy. I have to say not good at all. Other items on the menu are great, but shockingly bad stir fry. Picture says it all. I like the Thai salad butt they serve hot peanut sauce dressing to pour on a cold salad. Crazy. And disappointed.

Have heard a great deal about Lotus being a Vegas local. Got a late reservation for party of 3 online and arrived very close to time with a short wait. Ordered an appetiser and 3 entrees. While the service was spot on and the meal was very good, the portions were very small. Watched the table next to us (5 guys) continuing to order food. Could see why with the portions being what they were. Our bill was $100 for 3 people. There's to many other places close by with just as good of food and better portions to justify a return visit here.

We have ordered: 1.)Khao Soi, Sea Bass with Drunken Noodles, 2.)Seafood Pad See Ew 3.)Garlic prawns with drunken noodles, 4.) Crispy duck dish with Panang Thai Style Fried Rice One dish was better than other. The service is likable and efficient. Wine selection impressive and not readily seen in Asian restaurants. Altogether the place to enjoy and happily go back !

Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction – though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock suggest the Chef’s children have bigger things in mind about the Restaurant’s legacy going forward. Having visited the unassuming icon of Thai Food twice prior, a lunch in 2012 and dinner five years later, Wednesday evening found the expansive new location predictably packed from Bar to back room where a party of four sat amidst locals as well as tourists. Known best for spicy Norther Thai traditions and Riesling, though Thai Tea or Coffee may be prudent for those looking to quell the flames of dishes such as Steak Tartare teaming with Chilis, Lotus’ “Thai Ceviche” titled Koong Char offers a complex medley balanced by Citrus while Som Thum can be ordered the usual way or lightly fried with Tempura. Requesting everything level five of ten, the stuffed Chicken Wings flawless but mild, Tom Kha Gai arrives spewing fire at the center of Coconut and boiled Chicken blended with Lemongrass while Sea Bass Som Thum presents steamed Sea Bass flaky beneath Vegetables, Sugar and Lime. More pricey than Thai anywhere else in town, though the ingredient quality is undeniably high, Garlic Prawns earn signature status with edible Shells still on as do Nam Prik Ong and Crispy Duck Khao Soi that tastes like more assertive Panang Curry thanks to the acidity of Vinegar and Lime. Lit up by Thum Ka Noon, or Shredded Young Jack Fruit with Pork, Issan Sausage delivers snappy Meat with deep yet pleasant funkiness while Grilled Ribeye Panang shows off Prime Beef resting in Chilis and Coconut Milk. Not exactly “known” for sweet stuff, Desserts instead recited tableside, guests can expect the usual Sticky Rice and Coconut Ice Cream or opt for deep fried Bananas with Honey and a surprisingly well-crafted Pineapple Upside Down Cake served warm a la mode.

We try to go to this restaurant quarterly. In a city with so many great restaurants, you sometimes forget the tried and true. But as soon as I think about it, I make reservations because I miss it. First of all, make reservations. It's no fun to wait, I would try a few weeks in advance, just to make sure you get the time you want. Second the service is amazing. You will not go thirsty, your food comes out quickly, and anything you want it's brought to you without hesitation. Third, the menu is amazing. We have some stand by starters.. the crispy rice (very hot, I like it spicy, but a 3 is good), the stuffed chicken wings are very unique and delicious, chicken satay is great and the garlic shrimp are tasty and something you don't get every day. We have tried some of the soups. Two things... they are all good, they are huge... enough to share with the whole table. Entrees are great. I like the garlic prawns, which are a house specialty. The sea bass, another house special is good, I've had the sweet and sour and the ginger. My husband loves curry and tried a few but loves the masaman the best. They have an extensive drink menu and if you prefer sidaa, they serve coke products. Again, in a city of restaurants, this is a must eat.

Shame. I’ve been wanting to come here for ages but, now after finally eating here, all I can say is that it is way way over priced and over hyped. $36 for Khao Soi Noodles with Crispy Duck. No thank you. My favorite Thai food in Vegas still belongs to Nittayas.

Worst manager ever, worst service ever. The manager is so dismissive of any concerns over the service we got. Eye rolling, and head shaking is not appropriate period. Do not try to justify that he was “frustrated with the wait staff” or “kitchen”. Ridiculous. Will never come back again

You'll find the Lotus of Siam in a small strip mall on Flamingo Road about 2 miles off Las Vegas Boulevard of hotels and casinos. It is certainly worth an Uber or Taxi ride to visit this renowned Thai restaurant. The dining space is well decorated , appropriately noisy, and about half full for our noon lunch As Saint Anthony of Bourdain said, "This is not the place to order Pad Thai. Stick to the unique Northern Thai dishes." We saw that almost every table was ordering the garlic shrimp with a very good reason. These partially peeled, deep fried, and intensely flavored jumbo shrimp were absolutely addictive. I ungraded my order of Khao Soi (a combination of soft and crispy noodles in curry) to include the crispy duck as my protein. This boneless treat is certainly worth the $23 extra cost. My wife was not feeling adventurous and order a grilled chicken satay. The meat was tender, delicious, and she appreciated the mild peanut sauce. We left Lotus of Siam with full bellies and two dishes of leftovers

Some of the best food I’ve ever had, and certainly the best Thai. Great food, cocktails and service. We’ll be back for sure!

Came for dinner while in town. Waited about 25 minutes as did not have a reservation. Service was prompt. Yum Tum soup was very good and but spicy. Thai fried rice with chicken was good as was the yellow curry with chicken. Food reasonably priced. There are many good Thai restaurants in Vegas and this is just another one.

Lotus used to be a 10 then the owner sold out, they opened a new Lotus at Red Rock Casino it is beautiful but the service and food in just awful having been there 4 times each was an awful experience from waiting 1 1/4 hours to get your dinner served, to bringing the main course before the appetizers were served, bringing the wrong dish, etc. Not like the old days.

Just had a fabulous meal here. The service, food and customer service was excellent. Special shout out to our waiter, Bon who was very helpful and attentive. Restaurant was really busy and I can see why. Superb tasty food and drinks was just the ideal birthday meal!

Went off a recommendation from a past local. Tried a little bit of alot. Me and the wife enjoyed the red curry with beef and pad Thai respectively. I did a heat level right in the middle and felt it was a perfect spice. Appetizer wise, the crispy rice was good, maybe too big of a portion. Pork filled chicken wing was delicious, and there was a coconut soup that was amazing. Finished it with a banana wonton with a side of coconut sorbet. There was a rice on the dessert menu that when it came out it seemed slightly unappetizing but otherwise everything else was great.

I had the most wonderful meal ever!! We LARB [Pork, Chicken or Beef] Ground pork, chicken or beef chopped onion, green chili, and lime juice. Served with fresh cabbage. LARB KOONG OR PLAR DOOK [Catfish] Catfish, chopped onions, fresh and dry chilis, lime juice. Served with fresh cabbage. I had RED SNAPPER with CHILI MINT LEAVES Deep fried whole red snapper topped with homemade fresh chili and Thai basil!! Everything we had was amazing!! I would recommend that anyone going to Las Vegas stop and eat here! Make sure you get there before they open to get in line so you get a seat because it’s a line.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We had golden tofu, fried so its crispy on the outside , soft inside, yummy sweet sauce. Split a Thai salad, peanut dressing was perfect. Had catfish salad it was WOW, about a dozen flavors, i loved it!!! We also split a khao soi with vegetables, the sauce was fantastic like everything else. Finished with a mango sorbet that was worth the trip by it’s self. A huge menu, hard to pick! I will go back. Make a reservation good luck at the door.

It’s a very popular spot and with good reason. The menu has plenty of selection and the food is very good. Be forewarned - when they ask you how spicy you want your food they aren’t kidding around,

Loved the short drive off the strip to Lotus of Siam. Reservations are a must. We didn't know what to expect. I did hear many good reviews from foodie friends who say this is their favorite Thai place in Vegas. We loved the atmosphere and the servers were kind a courteous. Garlic shrimp was amazing. Crab fried rice was delicious. Yumilicious!

Located about 1 mile east of the Strip on Flamingo near Paradise. Recommended reservations. Service was great. Very busy for supper. Excellent Thai food. Very authentic. Parking available.

Was told to try this place, it may be the best Thai food we've ever had, as we went back the next day for my birthday. Loved both meals, the atmosphere is wonderful and amazing service!

We dropped in and sat at the bar. Got garlic prawns which were amazing. The flavor was so good. We also got a curry noodle dish which was incredible. Best restaurant we ate at in Vegas.

Great, maybe best Thai food in Vegas. 10 min off the strip away from Tourists 👍 Only negative is that it is a huge place and while I had a great waitress, you do feel like a speck in this place.

The Flamingo restaurant and bar is beautiful and there is no doubt one which serves the best Thai food in the greater Las Vegas area. The cocktails beforehand were great (I had the Lotus Old Fashioned). The chicken lollipops shared by all were large and meaty. I had the Chile Basil with chicken as my protein and it was delicious. The service was good but not great. However, the reason I give this restaurant a 4 and not 5 is it was so loud, we could barely hear our companions’ conversations. While I will patronize this restaurant in the future, it may be for take out.

After wanting to try this restaurant for years, our dinner was a bit of a letdown. It’s very casual and unimpressive inside. This is not a cozy place - it felt like an average chain restaurant inside. After having tasty Lychee Blossom drinks at the bar, we were seated in a back room with zero ambiance. We ordered the Nam Kho Tod to start, which was incredibly flavorful but a bit too sour for my tastes. For our mains, we ordered the popular garlic prawns and the Khao Soi with crispy duck. Both dishes could have been served warmer. The prawns were ok but definitely did not live up to the hype. The duck was not crispy and the Khao Soi itself was good but not a knockout. All in all, it was a simply average meal.

The food and service was exceptional! Kelly, Kevin & Nick took great care of us -especially Kelly that made incredible suggestions and provided over the top service! It is not just the best Thai food -- it is top ten for best meal! We wanted to figure out how to take it home with us! It was beyond delish!!! You will not regret stepping slightly off the strip for this experience.

Located just a few minutes from the Strip, this award winning establishment features Northern Thai cuisine. The food is very tasty and is lighter and more creative than the typical Americanized Thai places. This is well worth a visit.

Really lovely, but pricy Thai restaurant. The food was delicious, but no Covid distancing. This was the one place I thought if we are going to get it, it will be here. Might try again when there is less risk. Staff was excellent.

The fried shrimp and duck curry were exquisite. Everything else we ordered was average. Chicken lollipops tasted weird (too chickeny)

Every Vegas trip we come here for the Northern Thai Food. My fave is the Khao Soi. The curries are great too! Reserve or expect a wait at dinner.

Very disappointing as I've always wanted to eat here. It's a just huge noisy room with no ambiance at all. The garlic prawns were the best thing by far. The larb was pedestrian, the Khao Soi was supposed to crispy duck, but it was soggy by the time it got to our table, and the taste of the Sai Oua was all lemongrass; almost inedible. Disappointed, so say the least!

May well be the best meal I've ever had. We got the Black Pepper Prawns and a fried rice dish as an app. The flavor of the rice was amazing. The prawns were world class (Trust them. eat the shell) The real star was my coconut curry with crispy duck. My wife is sick of me talking about it.

I love Lotus of Siam; each time I’m in Vegas, I try to stop by. You can make a reservation online in advance and it’s still walkable (albeit it’s a long walk) from the Strip. Parking lot available. I came in a group of four and we ate family style. The chicken lollipop is a must-get and eat them while they’re hot and crunchy. The khao soi is my other must-get - the soup is delicious and the duck is tender. We ordered a duck curry too which may have been overkill as well as fried rice, so we had a lot of leftovers afterwards. My sister and l drank their Thai iced tea and really enjoyed it. Our server was nice and they let us get seated earlier than our original reservation. Overall, highly highly recommend coming here for some Thai food.

We had a wonderful experience for lunch. Gustavo made some great suggestions and was a fantastic server. We enjoyed the larb.. (although I wish we did regular white rice with it instead of sticky rice ) and the panang curry noodles with crispy duck. All were delicious. Even better was the Tom Yum Soup... best I've ever had!

All food portions were small and over-priced. All cocktails were small and over-priced. King Crab dinner had at most 4 tiny crab pieces. Overcharged for an additional Chili Basil dinner. Added 20% Service Charge.

I have been eating here for 10 years and and have always been amazed at the execution and quality for such a massive offering. The garlic shrimp to die for, although they could have been hotter. Scallop sashimi had so many exotic incredible tastes, and wooed me with the balance and complexity. The whole fish a little over fried, and still delicious. The Drunken Seafood Noodles had amazing flavor, a little sweet, but contained imitation crab. Not what you would expect from one of the top rated restaurants in the country. Mussel Omelet was as perfectly cooked as i have ever experiences. AN excellent choice with great service...

have been coming to Lotus of Siam for a long time, since it was a small restaurant. The last several visits have been very disappointing, and I will not be coming again. The prices are high, the portions are small, the food was cold. The shrimp came out cold. They returned it to the kitchen and refried the same shrimp, which came out overcooked and inedible.. The basil chicken was embarrassing, more like food court quality, a very small portion and very poorly presented. The waiter was not passionate at all about the food and when asked what he recommended he said "well that everybody orders the shrimp and Khao Soi." he had no recommendations. We got here right at the reservation time, and there was nowhere to sit, so we sat along the counter on the side of the waiting area, and the hostess came and asked us to move, even though no one was sitting there. Rice was not included with the chicken basil, and even the Thai sauces that come in every Thai restaurant as part of the meal, were an up charge of five dollars. It is sad to see this restaurant, squeezing every dime they can out of their patrons, lowering the quality of the food. At some point, people are going to realize the emperor has no clothes. There are many other Thai restaurants in town that are half the price twice the quality. Riding on your reputation only goes so far

Really enjoyed this restaurant with its formidable service and amazingly tasty dishes. We liked it so much that we invited our business team for an incredible dinner

First time visiting after three years. Food quality and flavors were just as remembered. The menu is quite large and will take several visits in order to appreciate the wide range of choices. The restaurant was rather loud due to the full dining room. Reservations are recommended as they are almost always full

To madam Saipin Chutima, It’s sad that i have to share my story of one of my favorite restaurants, during the last visit dinner time Wednesday 08/17/22 I had ordered a whole snapper $60 after waiting ½ hour someone from the kitchen threw it on our table, the fish was way over cooked and very dry, also it has no flavor whatsoever not even salt on it, upon talking to the waiter he went and got the manager in charge to the table, the manager did not ask us what was wrong with a dish nor introduced himself, he from the get go and without giving us the chance to explain to him our worries started saying “this is the way we do it and you got to eat it”, i kindly explained to him it’s uneatable, overcooked, has no taste and very dry, his response was “ill give you a desert” of course we refused and left. It is sad how a place with a good reputation gets ruined by an unprofessional manager. Hopefully this matter gets to madam Saipin Chutima and the owners of the restaurant, looking forward to hearing from you.

We'd eaten here (before they relocated) and had a fabulous meal. This meal was a total disappointment. We decided to try one of the chef's specialties (a Northern-style tom kha ghai). In addition to being way to "hot," it was boring--once the server brought us a "tamer" version of it. A fried noodle appetizer (mee krob) was way to sweet. And the rib dish (khao soi) was boring and the meat was way overcooked. We will not be returning here.

Good lord how does this restaurant get all the hype? I mean I know it’s Vegas but come on. I can deal with a strip plaza location, cheap decor, peeling pleather booths and dirty bathrooms if the food is legit. But nope! I can also deal with the insane up charges but an EXTRA $25 for the cheapest cut of ribeye you can get. Only positive was the garlic prawns and they even needed some extra flavor so ask for some chili dipping sauce. That’s it. I’d recommend passing on this place.

Last time I had been to Lotus, it was the old location. This was my first time at the "newer" one. We showed up right as they opened for lunch as we were just driving into town. We didn't have a reservation but they made room for two of us after about 15 minutes and we hung out at the bar to wait. We had some great drinks and they seamlessly transitioned us to our table. There were so many good things on the menu, we asked for some recommendations. We ended up with a spicy soft shell crab salad made with apples, cabbage, blistered cashews, a wonderful spicy dressing, and an awesome topper of perfectly fried soft shell crab. That was followed with a garlic steamed sea bass. It was perfectly cooked so it was tender and flavorful. I even loved how the vegetables with it were cooked. We finished up with what must have been the best and most balanced mango sticky rice. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. Staff was wonderful and I will always look forward to coming back when I am in Vegas.

This place is located away from the strip. You can walk it but not recommended. It was 10min Uber drive from our hotel. Restaurant is very nice, super clean and friendly staff. They have a great wine list, ranging from Jarvis to Opus and yup, they are at a high end but they also have reasonably priced wine as well. I was very impressed with the long, never ending wine list. Kenny was our server, he was nice, knowledgeable, kinda rushed us but it’s ok, place was busy and reservations is highly recommended. Food options are great, ranging from traditional Thai dishes to mama’s favorites which are indicated on the menu. Spicy levels are 1-5 so go easy when ordering. We had the Thai style papaya salad which was mild and on the sweeter side so we ordered fresh chillies on the side. We had the spicy Thai fried rice which was mild and the Chilean Bass in sweet and sour sauce, which was lightly fried to give it the right amount of crunch. Food was very tasty. I love Thai food and this place did not disappoint. A Vegas must go.

My family and I are at the Lotus of Siam last night. We are foodies and enjoy trying lots of dishes and fine wines. We have been coming back to the Lotus for many years and always look forward to the delicious Thai dishes. The food last night did not disappoint. It was tasty and beautifully presented. The service though was another story. It was absolutely disappointing! We arrived on time for our table but we’re told it wasn’t ready. We were happy to have a drink at the bar and wait. My husband stood in a line for the bar for 15 minutes without even having a chance to place an order. The bar tender was extremely slow at mixing drinks. In the time my husband waited he served two customers a total of 6 drinks. We continued to wait without a drink till our table was finally ready. Our server was adequate in her attention to our needs. The food as I mentioned was amazing. We ordered 8 dishes for our group and two lovely bottles of Viognier and Riesling. We were then told that the kitchen had their last call if we wanted dessert. We promptly ordered dessert. While enjoying our dessert our server started vacuuming around our table. We were taken aback at this rude behaviour. We did not get to enjoy the last part of our meal. We asked for the bill as it was an obvious hint to get out. We then asked for a taxi from the girl at reception who was too busy counting money to pay any attention. We called ourselves an Uber and left. Sorry we won’t be spending our money back here again! The Lotus has become too big to pay attention to quality service! What a disappointing experience!

We have been coming to Vegas for 32 years and this had to have been the worst restaurant experience we’ve had. This restaurant has been highly recommended to us by multiple people in the last couple of years so we decided to try it. We had explained to the server that this was our first time Thai restaurant and so we looked for his recommendations. He recommended a duck dish and a crab dish as our main entrées. He messed up my husband‘s drink, which was to be without vermouth. The meal came, which was good. It was very tasty. Then the bill came. The server never mentioned that the crab dish that he recommended was going to be $125. There was nothing on the menu more than $45. This entrée which were Alaskan crab legs had six partial legs on it. They were good but not worth $125. We find it unconscionable that he did not upfront say how much these were because we would never have ordered it. When we mentioned it to him at the end he’s like oh I’m sorry and that was it. We also mentioned it to the front desk as we were leaving. They’re like oh thanks for giving us that information. we were not looking for any kind of discount or refund, but we wanted to acknowledgment that they could’ve done this better. We will never go to this restaurant again nor will we recommend it.

We went to restaurant so my wife could have her favorite Thai soup. Two things were extremely disappointing. The first was we were told the soup she came for was not available. The second and most disappointing thing was the extreme noise in the restaurant. The sound was so loud it was nearly impossible to carry on a normal conversation. We used to regularly at the old location on Sahara and frankly the service and environment were much better. My wife is from Thailand and she believes we may not eat at the Flamingo location again.

Awesome meal Drunken Noodles and Thum Ka Noon were delicious. First time having Khao Soi - Bam! Ridiculously good! Beautiful space. Friendly and professional service. Nice wine selection. A+ experience. Will be back!

We normally do not venture off the strip for Thai cuisine but we are glad we did! Our favorite has been Ceasars and Aria for Thai and Lotus of Siam was better! Great service and the food is delicious. Be sure to make reservations if you are having dinner or try early and late lunch to avoid the crowds.

In Vegas, this place is a must-try for Thai food lovers. They seem to get everything right, from food, service and decor. I would recommend this spot to all my friends.

Fast service with a smile. Nice vibes and great food. Portions were generous. We' ve had a lovely night out and have enjoyed our dood. Thanks!

We reserved the private room for a large group, then reconsidered during covid, so they delivered the meal - 10 courses including soup and dessert with instructions about serving. Also, we asked for gluten free, no beef or dairy and all were accommodated. They were wonderful to work with, and the Northern Thai dishes were great. We especially loved the fish - the lobster and whole fish. thank you!

The good news, the food is excellent, reasonably priced and gluten free options offer a wide choice. The bad news can be found in the bill at the end of the meal. They add on a 3% charge to fund employee health benefits. If paying by credit card, they hand you a machine that gives you a choice of, no tip, 18% tip, 22% tip or 25% tip. The tip percentage is based upon the total bill, including 8% tax and the employee 3% charge. I suggest that you tell the waiter not to include the 3% on the final bill and make sure that they don't force to you use a default amount on their credit card machine.

After hearing amazing things about this restaurant for years I finally got a reservation during a trip to Las Vegas. It was absolutely worth the wait!!!! I had the Salmon and my friend had the Pad Thai. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, it reminds me of a great Dim Sum restaurant in Hong Kong. The staff was warm and welcoming and I found the reservation process online easy to work with and I appreciated the reminders it sent, not that I would have missed the opportunity to finally dine here. I will be back!!!

So I just got off the phone with Courtney in the group party reservation dept. I have a reservation for 19 people next week and we have a signed agreement for a $2000.00 minimum payment. Yesterday, I got an email saying that due to Covid, Lotus of Siam was going to raise the minimum to $2500.00. What? I asked Courtney about this and she said due to Covid they had to raise their prices. Now mind you last year when I booked the room, I had to buy 20 crappy t shirts to make their 2500.00 minimum. I explained this to Courtney and like a broken record she said it was due to Covid. I am not at the last moment looking for a place to host my large party because Lotus of Siam moved the goal post on me

This place is big and busy and for very good reason. The food is absolutely outstanding, the menu varied and prices are reasonable. Reservations are recommended unless you dine off hours.

James Beard award winning restaurant, and supposedly the best Thai restaurant in the country... I guess I was slightly underwhelmed. Although we didn't order their famous duck dish, we did have staple Thai dishes like the Penang curry and Drunken Noodle... nothing too impressive to write home about. The drunken noodle was heavily drenched in sauce which we appreciated, but the actual thick rice noodles were crumbled into mush balls..? Delicious, but I feel I've had better in Portland, OR. Still worth a 1st try though.

We had a nice dinner with many classic Thai and northern Thai dishes. Very helpful and kind servers. Good quality food. Extensive menu. VERY slow service. Make reservations far in advance. Seems over rated compared to how people described it.

Arrived at 7pm : reservation for 10 we have been told our table will be available between 8:00pm and 8:30pm … @9:40 … after chasing them and got the only answer from the manager « we are working on it » since over an hour … we have been asked after many parties of 4/5/6 people behind us on the waiting list (that we were on top !) … r u ok to split ??? after more than 2 hours ??? at least they should have asked us this from the beginning !!! whatever … never go over there … clients are treating like animals in their « waiting area » the poorest management and client service ever …

My family enjoyed our meal at Lotus of Siam. We were early to our reservation but did not have to wait long. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the prices were fair. I will definitely be back when in town!

Food was very good and service was very good. We ordered for pickup. But, it turns out you don't get any rice with a curry order, which didn't seem right given how expensive the curry dishes are.

I am very picky about my Thai food and Lotus of Siam never, never disappoints. The service is .very spot on. The drinks...the food are excellent. I started my meal with a Kumquat Martini...so bloody good. For an appetizer I had the Golden Tofu with a chili sauce...delish. For my entree I had the Seabass with Drunken Noodles....amazing. My dinner companion had as an appetizer shrimp wrapped in bacon...he said it was lovely. For an entree he had the Deep Fried Prawns in a salt and pepper sauce. Now, for this dish...you eat the entire prawn...shells and the tail. I tried two of them...okay...four of them and they were amazing. The shells and the tail...has the texture and tastes like a potato chip. Very cool. Excellent meal.

I always come here to eat the most amazing Thai food in Las Vegas, and possibly the US as far as I can tell. We ate here 3 times in 3 days and is truly amazing. You can't go wrong with the crispy prawns, chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce, and crispy rice. There was many other excellent dishes also.

A friend recommend this place to us. We liked it and would come back to visit. Appetizers, soups, entree, wine… you name it, it was good Duck fried Rice, hot and sour shrimp soup, sea bass and noodles Banana desserts

I’ve only been to Lotus of Siam once before, at its old Sahara location. This visit was the first time to this new location. It’s much nicer. I was there with friends and we tried the Crispy Duck, Nam Kao Tod, Tom Yum, Khao Soi and Mango Sticky Rice. All the dishes were flavourful and authentic. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected, but it wasn’t too expensive either (compared to Strip restaurant costs). They customize the spice/heat level to your liking. Service was adequate. Friendly and attentive enough considering it was full. Overall, I enjoyed my second visit. Still great food and somewhat reasonable prices. Note that this is only one of two Thai restaurants with the Thai Select designation, so their food is considered authentic by a Thai Government program.

Our group of four loved our dinner at Lotus of Siam in October 2023. Service was great. Good was fresh, tasty and portions were very generous. The appetizers were all incredible: egg rolls, mee krob, chicken wontons - delicious! Peanut sauce with the Thai salad is devine. Worth the drive off Strip to the Flamingo Rd location!

The food was not as great as I had set my expectations for, but good. Service was mediocre and the ambience was OK. Very noisy.

I Found this on-line as a top ten restaurant and it does not disappoint. Definitely make a reservation. We had an early dinner and there was a line to get in. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the waitstaff are very professional. The food is some of, if not the best, I have had in the US. We tried a salad, a soup, and two entrees. Amazing. The prices were very reasonable. This is a must do for anyone looking for Thai (or just an amazing Asian inspired) meal.

My two girlfriends and I enjoyed an excellent meal here last weekend. The restaurant is extremely poplar (for good reason), so reservations are advised. We ordered egg rolls for appetizers, three different curry dishes and a bottle of wine. All three curries were delicious! The egg rolls were fresh with the perfect amount of crisp. Although the restaurant was full, the noise level was comfortable. This is a new location, they must have incorporated noise dampening in their design. The interior of the restaurant is well thought out and stylish. I highly recommend!

We chose this restaurant because my dad watched a review from some guy on YouTube. No offense, but some of the things the guy did in the video made me question whether he knew what good Thai food was. But, they had kao soi on the menu, which is very hard to find in most Thai restaurants. I had never had it before but my husband absolutely loves this dish. He said it was very good but not as good as the one he always ordered when we lived in California. The three people in our party all ordered it and we were totally satisfied. We also ordered some crabcakes. The flavors were good but the texture was very offputting, like a chicken nugget... My dad and husband had the stuffed chicken drumsticks. They said it was good but would probably try a different appetizer next time. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and left satisfied. The service was terrific. We called for a reservation about an hour before we wanted to go on a Thursday night and got right in.

For some reason trip advisor did not allow me to add original location at 953 E Sahara. For was great! Crispy rice appetizer had a little zing to it. Crispy duck with drunken noodles was very good. Short ribs were sender it was almost falling apart. Curry eggs noodles with pork was tasty. Oh, and don’t forget the sweet iced coffee. Well deserved reputation. Make a reservation.

Average low quality food! Service was ok While the ambiance was decent ( too loud) and the staff friendly, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations. The food lacked the authentic flavors I was hoping for; it felt somewhat bland and uninspired. Additionally, the portion sizes were on the smaller side considering the prices charged. Overall, it was an average to low dining experience. I don’t recommend it.

Food was better than expected! Friendly quick service. This place is always packed! Now I know why! The portions are large so we both had a starter then we split A Pad Thai and Penang curry which was fantastic. We asked for it to be a 10 in spice and it did not disappoint. Would recommend but you have to book up as they are always busy .

Went there recently with my family. We had reservations at 9pm. We didn't get our table on time. I felt they were a little over whelmed with how busy they were. The service was good and staff was nice. However, the duck was cold and the sticky rice was hard. For the price I expected the experience to be better. I have eaten lotus in the past (2×) and had a better experience. I would recommend the place but not eat again if the food was cold.

The best tasting Thai food I have ever had. You will not go wrong ordering anything on the menu. It is simply the best!

We had heard numerous references to Lotus of Siam from some locals, some foodie TV shows and a few friends. A thai place a mile off the Strip in Vegas? Really? Yes, really. Easily the best Thai food we've had in 20+ years. The crispy duck khao soi is the signature dish and was cooked to perfection (crispy skin, large nicely trimmed pieces of duck). The satay (pork and beef) was superb, not dry, with a lighter peanut sauce (I hate feeling like i'm putting Jif on my satay). Everything was nicely prepared, not greasy, and the portions were adequate to share (4 people, 4 dinners, 2 appetizers and we had just enough room for sorbet dessert) Fair warnings: it's busy because it's good!! Make a reservation, and then be prepared to wait a few minutes as they clean and prep the tables. There's a large waiting area for people to stack (we waited maybe 5 minutes past our reservation time, not bad at all for a busy later seating).

Christmas Eve was a mob scene- we walked in for our reservation and our large party was immediately seated. No delay despite there being a 2-hour wait for those without reservations. We ordered a number of appetizers (garlic wings, soups, etc.) and then moved onto a variety of dishes: house-fried rice, Khao Soi with sliced beef, panang curry, Pad Thai. Tempura was very good as were the soups. We were pleased with all our choices (we were staying fairly mild to better engage the children in our group). Service was very attentive - despite the full house. We've been to the restaurant several times before -- we'll continue to make this a stop whenever we are in Las Vegas.

We eat here every convention year and are always extremely pleased with our meal.....fresh and perfect. Enjoyed so much we forgot to photo all of the dishes. Suggest, as we do, to always book at 5 30 opening before the high volume stress. Try the Northern dishes for a new experience.

My daughter and I were in Vegas and this restaurant was on both of our lists. We were worried that we didn't have a reservation, but walked in on a Friday about 5 pm and got seats at the bar very quickly. The feel of the restaurant was amazing and the food was very good. The bartenders were attentive and we both enjoyed our dinners very much.

This was our 5th Visit over many years and oh my how things have changed. Gone are linen’s, both table and napkins, now bare tabletop and poor quality paper napkins. We ordered the BBQ Prawns for the first course, which came with 2 sauces that were very tasty, Prawns were cold and had no signs of being BBQ. The Crispy Duck with Red Curry was stringy and dry. Had to ask for rice and knifes. The Charbroiled Steak Panang was lukewarm at best, and tough to cut and eat. We did not bother with after diner dessert as it seemed pointless. These comments are made from a former Executive Chef from one of the top 3 rated restaurants in the US. Reputations are made on consistency and it is now sadly lacking. The cold entry reception from staff and crowded wait for tables were always overlooked as the cuisine had always delivered.

Top 3 Thai restaurant of all time . Try the fried Prawns (wild caught). Red curry is awesome. The garlic pepper chicken was very fragrant (all herbs ground fresh). Thai basil fried rice is one of the best. Try the cocktails.. highly recommend

Got invited here by colleagues, she spoke Thai and got seated right away. Had the- - House special soft shell grab, good, but needed more seasoning' - Garlic prawns , great taste, small portion, host ordered 2 more; - tofu, too sweet and again small portion; - green papaya salad, not that great and lacking in sauce and seasoning - pineapple fried rice, ok; had a curry taste; -khao soi, average, not as good as ones in Thailand of course -chicken and shrimp panang curry, average; - combination seafood dish, a poor example of what they think seafood combination is, 2 tough squid pieces, 3 overcooked shrimp, I clam thing and some other clam ;very sparse and tasteless - fried banana with ice cream just ok. Vegetables on dished were clearly lacking or sparse to add flavour to the dishes ordered. They also placed us in an area where the aircon was blowing real cold, asked them to lower it, of course, ignored. Not as good as when they started in the old location years ago, they had more pride and taste in their venue then. Service is quick, and so with the clearing of tables. This place is sooo busy, and turnover is well done...a real business, doing very well.

Really excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere and calm away from the strip. Good red wine too. Very pleased that we followed the guide book recommendation on this one.

This place used to be incredible. One of the best, now it is one of the most disappointing, overpriced Thai restaurants I have been too, anywhere. Service was poor, food was slow to come out (when it did it was warm at best, cold at others), one dish was forgotten and arrived after We had finished eating what did arrive. There are much better Thai places in town and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant any longer. Food was flavorless, zero spice despite asking for 8’s and 9’s. Out table of Thai people and farang who either lived in Thailand for years or have been to the country dozens of times left shaking their heads after paying 300 bucks for lousy food and no alcohol!

Does Lotus of Siam need more 5 star reviews? Probably not. But, damn! It was a tasty experience. Big shout out to a place this large, this packed and with such a vast menu for delivering some of the best Thai outside of Bangkok. It's too bad we don't live in Vegas otherwise we'd be here weekly. However, next time we get the itch to head to Nevada, we'll be back. Yummy!

Superb Thai food . The garlic prawns were exceptional as were all the various dishes. Service was also fine and welcoming.

Stopped in looking for garlic noodles and shrimp. I read a review but it was talking about garlic shrimp and the best they ever ate! I was a party of one. I asked the young man if the shrimp was good. He said its the most requested. Fast forward 5 mins and my bowl of garlic shrimp with the body was attached on the shrimp. I was not aware of what was going to happen next. He advised me to eat the shell. “Sure?” Well I did and WOW they were AMAZING! Soft crunch shells with tender meat inside plus a side of rice. I had a cup of ginger tea. Thank you for the recommendation! Next to me there was a cute couple having a wondering time and she kept complimenting her food to her date. The music was light. The restaurants seemed to be liked by locals and I would love to come back again.

Fantastic dinner with Jo a great and attentive gentleman looking after us for the evening. Would recommend to anyone, give it a try but book early as it’s very busy but you won’t be sorry.

Aaron was an inattentive waiter. He was way too busy and let the table run out of water. We ordered a bottle of wine and he only filled our glass once. The food came and another server just dropped off our food at the end of the table without serving it to us. We wanted a side of Thai rice but said it would be an entree choice instead of a side. He offered a side of rice but never served it to us. We had to flag down another waiter to box our leftovers. Then we waited way too long for our bill to be picked up. Don’t waste your time here.

I was really excited to try this place but was quickly disappointed. We had the Crispy Duck Khoi Soi, it was good, but the other dishes we ordered were just so so. We had the Crispy Prawns, make sure to eat these when they are hot as they were NOT good at all when cooled down, a bit oily, greasy tasting and for $35 I expect better. The charge extra for white rice and a small portion, really....I couldn't believe this. We also had the Northern Larb with beef, it was extremely salty. We had an uber driver that told us next time we need to go to China Town in Vegas to get real authentic Thai Food.

Nothing Special about this place. Very expensive. OVER $200.00 for 3 of us Had to read the Menu with A flashlight. Menu was hard to understand. My main dish was a mixture of different fish and stuff. I coul not tell what I was eating? The wine was $62.00 a bottle, but tasted like an $8.00 bottle of wine from Smiths food store. The waiter was impatient with us and treated us like "rift raft". I will never eat there again. Highly OVER RATED"!!!!!!

The food here speaks for itself - top notch in every way. The elegant interior space, and the courteous and attentive service, are the icing on the cake. This is an OG Las Vegas legend for good reason. People tend to know this, so get there at opening or make a reservation to avoid a wait. Enjoy!

Snuggled in cozy booth in the nicely-appointed, inviting dining room, we perused the award-winning menu, over tasteful instrumental music covers. Looking forward to discovering what Anthony Bourdain fawned over! There were so many must-tries on the extensive Thai menu. I like the fact that they distinguished between Bangkok- and northern (I'm guessing Chiang Mai) style versions of dishes. We had to explore new dishes and one favourite to establish a comparison measure. Realizing that we weren't about to be rushed, our waiter chilled back, and allowed us to enjoy our three-course lunch. Prefacing our dishes, I must say that the Chang beer, at $6 was the least expensive beverage to be had in Las Vegas, and a most refreshing pairing with Thai cuisine. The KOONG SARONG to start were perfection! Succulent shrimp wrapped in the thinnest of bacon and wonton then deep fried and served with home-made sweet and sour. Amazing flavour. The presentation of the GARLIC PRAWNS was so impressive, and the bursting flavours were incomparable. We loved the crispy garlic bits on the bottom were scrumptuous. If you are a fan of PANANG curry, this will wow you. My husband ordered it with chicken and heat level of 7 of 10. He says that this was the best he has tasted yet, and we have ordered this dish in both Bangkok and Hua Hin. For me, it was a bit soupy as compared to curries we experienced in southern Thailand, but he loved it. For noodles, the PAD WOONSEN with beef was superb! I wish that I knew how to replicate the intense umami flavours. The cellophane noodles, very tender beef, ribbons of black mushrooms, and scallions were perfectly coated in the delicious sauce. It was nice get off the strip and enjoy an enormous lunch for under $100 (before tip). I think that we will add Lotus of Siam to our must-visit stops on all future Vegas excursions.

The setting is nice and the service is good but the food lacks flavor. It is hot but only in a lip burning way and not satisfying. Portions are big and the prices for the food are acceptable, something you cannot say about the massive wine list. There are better and cheaper places close by .. Little disappointed!

The atmosphere and decor was really nice, but the food was overpriced and very bland. We tried to order 2 dishes that were sold out so maybe we just didn't get to taste the items they were known for? Anyway we ended up ordering 6 dishes and it was all very disappointing. The curry also doesn't come with rice (which they didn't tell us). I guess they expect you to drink the curry like a soup? I've never experienced that before. We ended up ordering rice on the side. They also include tip on your bill so if you go make sure to check and don't double tip. This happed to us. I would not recommend this place at all. Waste of money.

We live in south Florida and love going to Vegas. Probably been there over 30 times over the years. In addition to dining on strip, we now also enjoy going off strip. Read the solid reviews on this restaurant and could not wait to try it. Had dinner here Nov. 7, 2021. It lives up to the billing. Yes -- the garlic prawns are a must have. We also had the crispy basil duck and one of the Northern Thai dishes - noodles with pork in a creamy curry sauce. Service was impeccable. We made reservations a week in advance and were seated in a quaint room in the rear. While you might consider it a tad pricey, it was great and we will be back.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever visited. The service and food are both excellent. The restaurant is fantastic for vegetarians. Many items have tofu as a protein option. Multiple dishes can also be made without fish sauce. The prices at the restaurant are much more affordable than what one would find on the Las Vegas Strip. Yet the restaurant is a fairly short walk to the Strip. For dinner - make a reservation well in advance. This restaurant gets booked fairly quickly. For lunch - both times we went, there was maybe a 5-15 minute wait. They restaurant does not accept lunch reservations. But it appears that reservations are not necessary for lunch.

I heard about Lotus of Siam in LV many years ago on some cooking show. I was intrigued back then. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try it out. And WOW! I was so impressed. The service and ambiance were fantastic, even in times of COVID19. But the food was just spectacular. The Koi Soi was outstanding! I had never found this dish in any Thai place, anywhere in the US. The sticky rice was the best prepared in my experience. The soups were spectacular and the condiments right on. I would say that this is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to.

Thoroughly enjoyed the crab fried rice and garlic shrimp with the skins. Who would've thought to eat the shrimp skin!?! But believe me when I say D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!! The servers are great and the hostesses are super!!

The foods were not not like review, not good at all . We ordered 3 dishes, very small portion, it’s not Thai at all ,very bad ....very expensive ,never come back...

What a wonderful place for Thai food. Their menu is extensive, the wait staff and service are exceptional. Our waiter advised us on his favorite dishes, and they were outstanding. Definitely worth dining here!

Gustavo took such excellent care of us. Excellent customer service and fabulous food. This was a recommendation and Lotus did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxed and we just chilled during this lovely lunch. Awesome time.

Very beautiful place to take a date or friends. They are attentive to making sure you get a good experience. They let us in early since we arrived earlier than our reservation. I loved the other locations and the flavor of food cooked by the mom. I am Thai and this location of food being made had something missing. It didn’t make us want more. The food cooked by the mom at the other location we could not get enough of. Otherwise it was beautiful there and we were treated very good.

The food here was amazing! Such a wide range of Thai food and vegetarian friendly as well. The cocktails they have as well were to die for. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. One of the best meals we had whilst in Las Vegas.

I had eaten at their other location a number of years ago and liked it so decided to try the new one. It took about 2 months to get a reservation on Open Table. However, I have to say that it was worth the wait! Every dish we had was excellent! The service was top notch and we will definitely be back again, since there are about 50 things that sounded good that I have not tried yet. BTW, definitely get the Thai Beef Jerkey!

Been numerous times. Food is superb. Def worth the visit. Deep fried garlic prawns !! Friendly staff also.

This restaurant does not need my review but I loved it so much I wanted to write one anyway. We looked up a great restaurant that locals go to & found this one listed. We are just back from a trip to Thailand & thought this restaurant sounded perfect. We had just landed in Las Vegas from the east coast & our eating schedule was still on EST. We did not have a reservation but we were able to get there minutes before the doors opened for dinner service. They have two lines, one for reservations one for no reservations. They told us to wait in the bar & our table would be ready soon...it only took about 5 minutes & we were seated. The food was amazing. I highly recommend eating here. Order the dumplings appetizer.

Really bad service. It took a while for the staff to clean our table by the bar. Our waiter took our order. It took some time for the food to appear. However, my friend’s dinner was missing. The waiter stated that the food was on its way. Five minutes go by and no food for our friend. Flagged down the waiter and told him the problem. Another ten minutes go by and no waiter and no food. Flagged down another person and they went to check. This person came back and told us that the food is coming. Still no food and no waiter. Flagged down the waiter and he stated that the manager is coming. The manager came and apologized and told us that she would take 50% off the check. By this time the other three members in the party had finished their food. We asked to pay the check. It took them ten minutes to process the check. Some one other than our waiter brought it back. Meanwhile, the food arrived. My friend did not want it. Poor experience, I think, as the waiter refused to take ownership of the problem. Needless to say, I would not go back to this establishment. Too much going wrong.

We have heard rave reviews of Lotus of Siam so finally made a reservation for a special occasion. We were seated promptly, but the service was a bit strange. The earliest reservation should not be seated in the least-desirable seating (crammed middle table in the side room). When asked if we could move to the nearby table since nobody else had arrived they said no. I guarantee the other couple seated after us were from out of town & hadn't requested a special table. Alas, we got over that...But felt like we were dining with the two tables that we were smashed between... Somtam (Thai style papaya salad) was mediocre. 7/10 spice requested and not spicy in the slightest. We did love the Northern Thai style dish options on the menu! Those are not available at many Thai places. The Thum Ka Noon was the best dish out of the bunch--a unique flavor, however the 8/10 spice level seemed more like a 2/10. The Kang Omm with catfish was also tasty...But again, we asked for 8/10 on both dishes and they were not spicy AT ALL. We had to ask two different servers for some heat & we used the entire plate of spices for flavoring. I'm sorry, but we've been to numerous other Thai places in Vegas area that far exceed Lotus of Siam and are less than 1/2 the cost and don't require reservations. Also, dang...fix your spice level! Don't make assumptions...I want my food to be actually spicy when asking for 8/10! I cannot imagine what a 2/10 would be...

Had seen this restaurant listed in multiple "best of"/"must visit" lists, and love Thai so decided to give it a whirl on a recent business trip. This was the Flamingo road location as the one on Sahara was closed during COVID for being understaffed. Was very underwhelmed. Martinis were weak. The chicken dumplings were solid but undistinguished from any other Chinese or Thai restaurant anywhere. The Dad Deaw (beef) was poor -- unsavory cuts of meat that were very overdone, tough and chewy, with a fairly flavorless sauce. Both dishes came with simple shredded lettuce. Really disappointed in the Dad Deaw.. For main, had crab fried rice and cashew chicken. While the crab fried rice had a bit of a fishy smell, it was fine. Cashew chicken is normally a fairly bland dish no matter where you order it, but nothing really distinguishing here about sauce or the herbs used in the dish. Would honestly look to go to another Thai/Asian restaurant, even one that's more expensive on the strip. Pretty basic here - was wishing for more flavor and zing. Definitely not worth the raves or the money IMO.

For the price - the food was only so-so., the service was inconsistent ((neither the food nor the drinks came out together) and the overall experience was less than stellar because it was so loud you need to shout to be heard. No desire to ever go back.

Long-time fan here. I brought a party of eight to enjoy Lotus of Siam and the waiter wrecked the night. What happened: Steamrolled ordering. Every time I tried to discuss the menu with my group, he “helpfully” picked something for us - crab-leg fried rice, two garlic-rib orders, etc. I actually had to push back twice to not get crab legs on our fried rice. Relentless upselling. “Most popular, most famous” was his entire script. He wouldn’t shut up long enough for us to order what we actually wanted. If he’d let us speak, we would have spent more and tried more of the menu. We would have enjoyed our meal. Business dinner hostage. I had to keep it civil in front of clients while my table seethed. One guest said afterward that he wanted to punch the guy in the face! Mandatory 20 % tip. Painful when service delivers zero value. Portions were small, too. Kitchen still OK. Food was decent, but the bad experience is the memory that sticks. I’ve raved about Lotus for years, but this was just awful. Anyone else run into the pushy-waiter routine lately? Drop your story below. Let’s see if this is a trend or a one-off.

Exceptional taste. Super friendly staff. Not the best of areas. I would have never tried this place if it wasn't suggested by friends. I'm glad they did. Simple elegance. Fish cake appetizer with seabass and drunken noodles.

We went for ny husband's birthday. Our first time there. Large menu but and not familiar with Thai food. Pretty place. Music out of place in my opinion. Our waiter had an attitude. Polite but barely. He asked if we had been before and if we had questions on the menu. So many items and not clearly described. Basically he just re read portions of the menu speaking quickly. We fumbled our way through. What we ordered was good but not really thinking we will return.

Best Thai food I’ve ever eaten….and I’ve been to Thailand! My partner also thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was brilliant too. I would high recommend.

I visited the newly opened location of Lotus of Siam at Red Rock, and I was transported back to Thailand! The atmosphere was so inviting with beautiful decor, and they had the friendliest staff! We made reservations on OpenTable, and came on a Sunday at 6pm, and it was moderately busy. We ordered the deboned deep fried snapper (must try 10/10), crispy rice which was almost like a salad but very interesting textures ans flavor (10/10), garlic prawns- to die for! (10/10), curry with duck and noodles- not used to my duck being soggy but it was still good (8/10), crab fried rice had huge pieces of crab and very flavorful (10/10), papaya salad (8/10), & for dessert we had mango sticky rice, but there was more rice than mangoes and it was a very small mango (7/10). We ordered 3 thai coffees, spent less than $300, and called it a night! I'd definitely come back for the prawns, crab omelet and crispy rice! Happy Eats ✌️

Had dinner this week. Busy restaurant so make reservations. It’s pricey but not crazy. Had Tom Yum soup with shrimp. It’s spot on. I have travelled to Thailand for 15 years so I know this soup and it was great. Tempura good not great..too much Panko batter not tempura batter….dipping sauce sweet sour plain embarrassing for a restaurant like this. Challenge chef to come up with signature sauce. Mains were good especially fried crispy pork belly. German wines a perfect and so is the price. Will go back.

Still good, but not as good as it once was. Service was outstanding, but the "heat" scale for spiciness has from a 1-10 to a low/medium/hot. Asked for, "Thai-spicy" hot as I have in the past and it wasn't even a medium. Other than that, the larb, garlic prawns and drunken noodles were quite good.

We heard about this restaurant and have been going here for 4 or 5 years now, whenever we were in Vegas, now we live her and get to go frequently, which suits us just fine! The service is always amazing. Joe and his team took great care of us tonight. We started with the crunchy rice, which is always good and one of their known dishes and our companions enjoyed the chicken dumplings. I had the garlic BBQ prawns, which bbq isn't quite the right word, grilled with a green sauce, but delicious. My husband had a sausage dish, which had a kick, but good. Our friends had stir fried rice (shrimp and crab) and the garlic prawns, another one of their specialties and loved it all. We have never had a average dish here. If you are a fan of Thai and in Vegas, this is a must do restaurant.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it was on Sahara and when I would see Saipin would pop by in an Adidas track suit. I've always loved this restaurant and made it the first meal once we touched down and it would always be the highlight of our family trip. It is sad for me to say that the restaurant now lacks consistency on some aspects. The ambience is beautiful. Please don't seat guests in the boxed in areas if there are lounges available at 530PM. Dining is an experience. The price has gone up and that is fine but make sure the dishes are consistent. We ordered two pad thais and one of the dishes was clearly a lot less in quantity than the other. The garlic fried prawns were spot on and the khao soi with the short ribs was magnificent. We had two reservations during our trip and cancelled one as there are a lot more options now and the below comments are right, there seems to be something missing now and maybe it is a victim of its own success. When I try calling into the restaurant no one picks up the phone. The service is average but it use to be amazing. The couple next to me commented, "Do you really need a reservation for this place?" I can say that at least I was able to enjoy this restaurant during it's heyday. I suggested to my wife that perhaps we see if there were any other hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurants in Vegas that might be emulate what Lotus was back int he day but she said perhaps management will take the comments below to heart and put in changes to return the restaurant to its glory days.

This is only the second time I've eaten here, the first was the other location. Both are so delicious! Super nice employees and the food is so good. Lots of options for everyone and lots of vegetarian options.

Overall a solid Thai cuisine. Tasty, original though not a revelation. Overprised imho. Would make a good lunch spot if not for the price.

We ordered Tom Kha, egg rolls, Chicken friend rice and Chicken Lolipops with garlic. great food and atmosphere is sub par. Would recommend but we would not go again most likely.
Disappointed.
We love Thai food having lived in S E Asia for many years. Lotus of Siam gets rave reviews and was one of the reasons for our trip to Vegas was to try their food. The evening did not start well as we arrived early intending to have a drink before dinner, but were not allowed in the bar area, which was huge and had 3 people in it; so had to stand in the lobby for 20-25 mins before we got our table! They only have 1 type of Thai beer - Chang - which is OK but would have been nice to see some of the other great Thai beers. We started with Pork Sate and Mee Krob, with the Sate sauce being truly authentic, super. The Mee Krob was OK, but not spicy and tangy enough. We then went to have the Crispy Duck - northern style - and Deep Fried Red Snapper. The Snapper was so over cooked our server had to hack it apart - it was like eating fishy cardboard. In hind site we should have sent it back as it cost $45!! The Crispy Duck was not crispy and had a lot of fat and bones. The sauce and flavour was good - very rich from the coconut milk. The service was good and the wait staff were lovely. We were so disappointed as we had been looking forward to this meal for some time.
