Chicken was good but the service was bad. The young man took my order but not my wife who was next to me in line, skipped over & never came back. Told cashiers who thought it was funny & again didn't offer to take/complete order, just looked at girl next her & smiled like she had no idea what to do for her self. A lot of options in the airport fly through frequently, sorry to say will not make stop at this particular establishment again.

We reserved a table more than a month in advance to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived the dining room was nearly empty. We were placed in a remote corner, and were soon surrounded on two sides by the entire Duke basketball team who like most young men were very noisy, making it nearly impossible to talk. We order a souffle alamode for dessert, after nearly a half hour the ice cream part arrived, soon after followed by the check. We asked where our souffle was and were told that it had been delivered to another table, with no explanation where that table’s souffle was. We were unwilling to wait another half hour for a souffle, and paid our bill and left. COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY.

Dodged the fried chicken, collared greens, black-eyed peas and okra but found a healthy serving of pulled pork, macaroni&cheese and mashed potatoes. Had to throw the meal down to catch my flight. Too bad, food was good!

Low Country offers an excellent Breakfast for those traveling through the A concourse in ATL. The cheese grits are simply amazing. The bacon and sausage are both excellent. The biscuits are made fresh daily. Beware that unless you get the Breakfast Special this place is very pricey. Example is one order of cheese grits is $5. A single biscuit is $3

We were actually just walking by and I saw an individual with Mac and Cheese plate. I just had to have it. ($3.99) So worth it. Firm noodles, very creamy sauce, with a perfect cheesy taste any Mac and Cheese connoisseur would enjoy.

Decided to have the shrimp Caesar over Of then orhet restaurants. Chefs story is a good one. Shrimp were chopped up in small squares, probably didn’t add up to 3 shrimp. Chosen ranch dressing. If you are an executive chef you should have your own mix right? Not in this case. Why was my ranch a Ken’s Steak House Brand? Staff was not informative. Don’t patronize simple because it’s a brother chef selling the southern food experience. Don’t recommend.

Ordered salmon with mac n cheese and green beans. Salmon was decent. Mac n cheese was great. Green beans were the more waxy kind that are not my favorite. Overall an above average airport meal. Would stop again.

Hey, it's in the airport. You can see what you want to order from the counter.....a quick but usually satisfying meal when you don't have much time between flights.

Have eaten in ATL airport many times, but this is the only review I felt compelled to give. Good............no, much better than that. As good as what you would find in the city. Usually the airport feels like why am I here.........why is the help here.....and, can't we all just go away. Here, it was definitely down home, comfort food, cooking. Had the baked chicken with mac and cheese and green beans. Not kidding, as good as any I have had at a sit down restaurant. And, for $11 that was a great value for an airport. I will definitely seek this one out if I ever have enough of a layover in ATL.

During a layover in Terminal A, I searched for a quick breakfast. Fortunately I found Low Country. The breakfast sandwich on a biscuit was made fresh to order with quality ingredients. The (real) egg was fried perfectly, the bacon high quality and crisp, and the biscuit warm. It puts an Egg McMuffin to shame! The staff were friendly as well. Will be my new breakfast spot in the airport. Looking forward to trying lunch as well.

Picked up dinner after a flight. Great service. Fried chicken was great. Grits were great. Macaroni and cheese was great. Service was awesome.

The food looked good and the patrons eating it seemed to be enjoying it. I only wanted a fresh brewed ice tea, $2.30, which can sometimes be a hard commodity to find in an airport. Luckily, they had it, and after interrupting two employees conversation, I made my purchase. Ah! Thirst quenching!

I came off the red eye from Salt Lake City and was looking for a good breakfast, What I found was a great breakfast! I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of cheesy grits. The combination was wonderful and served by women that really love their work. Talk about comfort food! Just what I needed!

What a great find! Usually airport fast food places have all the standard choices and fare, along with french fries as the accompaniment. It was refreshing to see the choices here. There are many entrees, including salmon, fish, shrimp, and different kinds of chicken. My son had the ribs which fell off the bone and were outstanding. They cost $12.99 and included your choice of 2 sides, which could be: fresh sauteed green beans, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and red roasted potatoes, and about 4 other choices. I had the rosemary baked chicken with the green beans and the roasted potatoes, for $10.59, which was all very good.. It is located in the center of terminal A, near a few other fast food places. The service was fast and the tables near by were clean. I would head for here, if I ever flew into Atlanta again.

You're not going to go home hungry, and the food is pretty heavy, so this is a great place to eat if you're hoping to nap on your flight home.

This was in the food court at Hartsfield Jackson airport. Husband and I decided to grab something to eat before our flight. Several people in line and food on serving bar looked ok. Be sure and check the prices before eating here. Husband got a premade biscuit , scrambled egg and sausage….$17.00. I had a biscuit, $5.49, and 3 short strips of bacon, $7.00. Two coffees were $6.00. Credit card would not go through till I added a 20% tip, and all they did was put it on a plate and take our money. Total with tax was $46.00!!!! For what it was, RIDICULOUS!!! Never again…BUYER BEWARE!

January 7, 2026, at 7:30 PM, when there was no salmon available however it was on the menu. The supervisor, Angela, informed me that they don’t cook salmon on Saturdays. There was also no General Tso chicken, and what was available on the food line was dried-out chicken, and everything appeared old and unappetizing. Angela mentioned they wouldn’t be cooking anything else since they close at 9 PM. But it was only 7:30 PM, and the food did not look fresh at all. I will no longer be promoting Low Country.

We have been eating there for the last several trips. Best Sausage and gravy I have ever had and the eggs are fluffy great bacon. Service is special

Low Country Southern Cuisine makes the airport in Atlanta, one of our favorite places to experience a layover. The food is super delicious, the staff is extra friendly and the prices are excellent for what you get.

This was an awesome experience to be eating good food devoid of greasy veggies. The chicken was grilled nicely and worth the stop between flights.

Whenever I travel through Hartsfield airport, if I have time, I make my way to the food court at Concourse A to eat at Low Country. The food is fabulous, the servers friendly, and usually the lines are not as long as at the other eateries that are more main stream. I'm a pescetarian and really enjoy their green beans, broccoli, and black eyed peas. All are cooked al dente and nicely spiced. Last time I also enjoyed the blackened shrimp. Yummy and priced reasonably. If only all fast airport food were this good, if only ...

The baked rosemary chicken was far over cooked and dry, the rice crunchy and the broccoli too peppery. I was hoping for something other than fast food - but this was not a good option for me. Filling but doesn’t hit the mark for quality especially considering the price

Awesome with a capital A. Get the special: Biscuit, Eggs with cheese, cheese grits, your choice of meats and guaranteed to hold you up for a transcontinental flight. My go to place in ATL. I make sure that I give myself enough time to connect, just to have breakfast there. Well worth it. Never had any other meal there.

Great scrambled eggs, soft biscuits, and creamy gravy. And nice folks, too. Best breakfast at ATL...

1 scoop of eggs, I small scoop potatoes, 2 strips of bacon and coffee. 12 bucks. Eggs were not hot. Potatoes and bacon were cooked ok. When you look at the portion size, even for airport food, I'd go to Pascals over this place every time.

Cheese grits and chicken sausage links were very good. Based on the name, I was hoping for shrimp and grits or catfish. Employees very nice and professional.

Cold food coupled with extremely high prices and horrific attitude do not make a good combination. This place is severely overrated. Stay far far away from this place when in Concourse A at Hartsfield in Atlanta.

Low Country is one of the few places in the Atlanta airport to get a full breakfast without going into a sit down restaurant. The full breakfast is $8.49 and consists of egg, potato cubes or grits, bacon or sausage and a biscuit. The food is displayed right at the counter, so you can see what is offered. The food is very fresh, but the preparation is a bit institutional. The scrambled eggs were offered plain, southwestern or with cheese. I chose eggs with cheese and they were good. The bacon was cooked pretty hard and the biscuit was a bit dry. The cubed potatoes had bits of pepper and onion and were good. All in all, this is a good choice if you want a full breakfast and don't ant any surprises.

This was hands down the best customer service I have experienced in Atl Hartsfield airport. The woman was so genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent but the service was the standout. I highly recommend them if you want good food and good service.

Great staff Friendly and helpful!! Thank you Everything looks so clean and nice! The people cleaning tables were great!

We eat breakfast here as well as dinner. Both were fantastic. Don’t know why the lines are short. We will definitely return ever time we travel through Atlanta.

As someone who has traveled quite a bit, the last place I expect to get an exceptional meal is in a food court at an airport. I was so surprised by the quality of the food at Low Country (I think in Terminal A) that I went to the trouble to ask Trip Advisor to add the restaurant so I could add a review. The staff was super friendly, but most importantly the food was really, really good. I don't even like collards, to give an example, but I loved theirs. The fish was as good as any top restaurant and the other vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. (I wanted the recipe). I'm on Paleo (veggies and meat only, no grains) so it was important to me to find something to fit my needs. Well worth the stop. And the cost was reasonable for an airport too. Kudos to the staff which was courteous and professional. I don't know who owns this restaurant chain, but your staff in Atlanta Airport deserve commendation. Normally I wouldn't be so effusive about a food court restaurant, but this was such a surprise, it deserves the praise.

I travel 80% of the year and I pass through the Atlanta Airport sometimes several times a week. So much so that the staff has asked me if I work there! The food is absolutely phenomenal. Seasoned perfectly and with care and intention. Portions are just right. Staff is WONDERFUL. Unfortunately, my experience last night with the fellow at the front was not great at all. He seemed to be more concerned with getting home than anything else. I've never seen him before. I'm sure he's an excellent worker but customer service does not at all seem to be his strength. However, before that unfortunate exchange, I've had nothing but fantastic experiences with this super awesome staff!! They are so nice, so friendly, so welcoming, and so genuine. I can't compliment them enough. Just wonderful. Anyway, back to the food, I've had the fried chicken, rosemary chicken, tilapia, salmon, ribs, as well as the mac and cheese, garlic rice, green beans, broccoli, and corn. All were sublime! I look forward to being back there again next Tuesday!

Both my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and service was prompt, professional, and cordial. Declining the sandwich offered afterwards on the plane wasn't quite as much of a pleasure, but it made for a nice aftertaste.

Had breakfast here on a layover, the eggs were way over done and the grits were not warm. Wouldn't bother stopping here next time we come through Atlanta.

In Atlanta on business and no time to visit local restaurants. What a pleasant surprise when I saw Low country in Terminal B while waiting for my flight home. I tried the pulled pork, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas and peach cobbler backed up with fresh brewed sweet tea.. I thought I died and went to heaven. What great home style quality food! You would not expect to find this in an airport fast food setting. Don't rush for your flight. Make time for this southern delicacy!

My travel food usually consists of burgers and cold sandwiches on the run so this is a refreshing change. I've eaten here twice. Once I had the grilled salmon (not dry, seasoned well) and once the baked rosemary chicken (again, moist and great flavor). Both times I have had the garlic green beans and loved them. The mac and cheese is not your standard southern recipe...it's made with shells instead of elbow macaroni and though I can't figure out the cheeses, they are a nice departure from standard cheddar. Everything tastes homemade, which is nice when you travel.

Best food in the Atlanta airport. Food is freshly made so they may get behind during a rush but well worth the wait.

A 2 hour layover in atlanta after a long international flight meant we were very hungry. We saw a fast moving line filled with airport employees and figured that this was a place to try. It was - we had ribs and rosemary chicken, both excellent with lots of flavor. Sides were outstanding. Service was also great - efficient and very friendly. I will definitely head to A terminal to eat here again!

After airport hopping all day, this was my third airport , I was hungry for some food other than the usual fast food sandwich or Danish/coffee route. I was in terminal A in the Atlanta airport and passing by the Low Country Southern Cuisine. A vegetable plate sounded good. I got the grits , rice and black eye peas thinking that surely one of the three would be good. I was very surprised. All three vegetables were seasoned perfectly and I really enjoyed my dinner. It was well worth the price ( around $10). I have passed by them on the way to one of the fast food outlets several times, but in the future I will stop here instead.

We were looking for more than a sandwich or pastry, so we chose Low Country for breakfast while waiting for our flight. The food was delicious and hot. The service was fast and friendly. Prices were a bit high, but normal for an airport.

At the Hartsfield Atlanta Airport, I am a huge fan of Chef Garvin, so only right to stop at his spot for breakfast. The male that was serving was rude, the chicken sausage is over cooked and not good at all. The cheese grits were good and my eggs was okay, definitely not worth $10.00 for a plate.. Still a fan!

Say hey to Miss Mary and have a great meal in concourse A. Really Good Southern Food In The Airport. Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Garlic Shrimp and macaroni and Cheese. Cooked right and served with a smile and some Good old fashioned Southern Hospitality.

This was one of the best meals I have ever had in an airport. The food tasted fresh (I had a chicken breast, red potatoes and green beans) and both the serving staff and the cook were extremely responsive and sensitive to my soy, gluten and lactose allergens. I will plan to eat at Low Country every time I come into the Terminal A.

I just love that this is a G. Garvin joint. However, the food is just the same everyday. I guess he reasons if it's not broke don't fix it which is why they serve the same food everyday. I don't think of it as a fast food chain but I guess it is. I love the chicken (all types) and the asparagus is good. The Mac and cheese is just ok but taste like the Mac and cheese in the box. No variety but it is very tasty and I would eat there again if I just wanted to have veggies and meat. It's just moderate eating.

While waiting for a flight delayed by 2 hours, we decided to try this restaurant. We had the Salmon Filet and the Garlic Shrimp. The entrees were very good. The sides were also quite good.

I hope all my layovers in Atlanta will be in terminal A. Caught them just before they changed over for lunch. That's right, they change over like any restaurant on the street. Best texture of waffle I've had in public. Crispy bacon and great cheese grits. Friendly young ladies behind the counter. Seems they were proud of the business. Was I really in the airport? Btw airport court provides ample seating area. I'm hoping for later layover next time so I can try lunch or dinner!!! 2 BURPS

Airports are tough places for people w gluten allergies. Most of the food here is GF. The ONLY foods w gluten are fried chicken and macncheese. Baked chicken and salmon, zucchini, rice, grits, greens--all GF. And good, solidly good. And for airport food, great!

We had the Grits and Eggs and were impressed with the quickness for an airport location. The food was tasty and hot.

Found this on a blog and all the kudos were indeed true! The crab stuffed flounder with beurre blanc sauce was incredible. The sides were also excellent. At 6:00 the line on a weekday was long so we dined outside and the beautiful night added to the enjoyment. A gem….nothing fancy, the owner/caterer does a great job!

We decided to stop in for something different while waiting for our morning flight! Great options by cheese grits and eggs were perfectly seasoned and my husband said that the biscuits and gravy were very good as well.

I wasn’t sure what to eat but I wanted something other than burgers, pizza or Chinese. Ate at this restaurant and was surprised by the menu. I got the garlic shrimp with Mac & cheese as well as the bacon cheese grits. Shrimp and grits were great. Mac and cheese was good but I love it better when it is baked with crispy edges. Very pleasantly surprised. They did have green vegetables- asparagus and broccoli. Which I didn’t partake in. Salmon looked great as well

Great spot in terminal A that is quite good. Nice alternative to the typical airport burgers or sandwiches. Salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Multiple entree options including Georgia shrimp, chicken, ribs, etc. Always add the good veggies. Lots of choices. Give it a try.

Food and service among best ever at an airport. I travel 1-2 times a month! Chicken, Mac & Cheese and potatoes all try restaurant quality!

Having been out of the country for several weeks we were so glad to see some Southern home cooking in the food court area of the Atlanta Airport!!! The food all looked good and it WAS good. Friendly servers added to the scene!!

Kudos to the Atlanta airport for adding vendors such as Lowcountry New Southern Cuisine. We enjoyed baked salmon, green beans, macaroni and cheese and pronounced them all excellent. We strongly suggest you try the caramel bacon bread pudding-yummy!!!

I was in Atlanta Airport on concourse A. I was hungry and none of the items looked appealing. I saw this Chef G inspired restaurant and remembered another great meal I had inspired by him. Although it was not on the menu, I had a spicy Cajun shrimp that was over white rice. This was the best shrimp I have ever eaten. I also had baked beans by accident. I thought they were black eye peas. It was baked beans with hamburger meat in it like they cook in the South. Initially I thought, I don't want baked beans but when they hit my stomach, I could not stop eating them. They had other great choices as well. Tilapia, chicken which all looked great. If you are in the airport and hungry this is THE place to stop. The service was excellent as well. The workers were very friendly and kept the area very clean.

I had rice, green beans, and fried chicken. The rice and green beans were delicious. I hate when vegetables are soggy, and these are not. The chicken was ok I got 2 pieces, one was decent. The other was dry, wasn't able to eat all of it. For airport food it was ok a little pricey, but airport food usually is.

Last week, I ate here while in the ATL airport. I ordered baked chicken with rice and black eyed peas. The chicken was good, just not served hot enough. The rice taste like black pepper alone. The black eyed peas were very bland. I was expecting flavorful southern tasting black eyed peas. I have heard so much about Chef Gavin. Perhaps the chefs at this location are not following the recipe. I was a bit disappointed. I suggest sampling before you order.

My wife and I were flying from LA on the Delta red-eye to Atlanta. We happened upon Low Country Southern Cuisine in Terminal B right next to the Boar's Head fast food restaurant. We ordered two breakfast plates with scrambled eggs, a tasty spicy fried potatoes, thick slices of maple bacon and a freshly baked, home made biscuit with coffee. What a pleasant surprise we had! It was as good as any five star breakfast we've had...perhaps better! The staff was very gentile and friendly. A woman at the table next to us, spilled 85% of her hot coffee on her table nearly incinerating a man sitting opposite of her! The staff of Low Country helped her clean up the spilled coffee and gave her a new cup of freshly brewed coffee. That does not happen just anywhere. Our bill was $22.00 which in our part of the country (the Northeast) is a very reasonable price for breakfast!

I really like the food here as I travel every week and my body says yku need real food not junk. This is the perfect option for frequent travelers. The garlic squash was outrageously goid and how do you go wrobg with fried chicken snd black eye peas. Don't always have to eat at airport but if I have to this is my go to choice. After 20 years of flying this is one of a handful I look forward to enjoying a meal.

I ordered a chicken dinner with rice and green beans .. Not only was it delicious!!!! .. I realized I left my leather bag ... when I went back Sheila (who graciously served my food) but was the one who was also waiting in an outside seat for my return .. 💗 .. I asked what could I do for her as this is not a common experience for someone to wait and call airport security, but wait for airport security .. Please owners of Low Country Cuisine - understand this is rare and I want to recommend that she gets something extra special from your company for going above and beyond .. Thank you Sheila from the bottom of my heart ... Thank you Low Country the deliciously seasoned food 🥰 ... Eddee G

Oh, my...how to describe the absolute joy of southern cuisine to someone? It's like trying to describe colors to a blind person. However, this place is too good to not to make an attempt for! My partner and my only time was, like everyone else, when changing planes at ATL. We had just arrived on the red-eye from San Diego, and at what was for us 2:30 in the morning (5:30 AM local time), we wandered off looking for food. Since our final destination was Tampa (and not a location known for its "southern" cuisine), I was determined to find something "local". Low Country was open, and looked fabulous. The person working was sweet and ready to take my order - and I filled my plate with sausage gravy & biscuits, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, authentic cheese grits, and bacon. As I sat down, my more-than-half-asleep partner stares at me with drooping eyes and says, "I can't believe you're eating at this hour. All right, give me a bite of the eggs. All right, give me a bite of the biscuit. All right, give me a bite of bacon. All right, give me those grits. All right, I'm going to go get a waffle!" Yes, it was that good - a half-asleep non-foodie found this food edible in the middle of (his) night. Wow. One day we'll be back through at the time that will allow us to sample lunch or dinner.

Skip lowcountry and go to term B Paschals. Fried chicken was was soggy and cold, Mac n cheese tasted like hot dogs and string beans were nearly raw. They don't do biscuits or cornbread ether. Totally not impressed. They survive with mediocre fast food because of traffic. Never again...!

I just finished the best food that I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It was also reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. I have a new favorite in the Atlanta airport concourse A! Avoid only if you are watching your sodium intake.

Highly recommend LCSC... super friendly staff, amazing food - best I've had in Atlanta, can't wait to come back again!!!! truly special stuff going on here.

Was at the airport unexpectedly after a flight change enforced by Delta, meaning this was my last chance to eat for several hours. Went to this place expecting at best average mass catering kind of food but actually it was very good.

I tried the Low Country Southern Cuisine as it had good reviews and I had only a few minutes for lunch. The sides (Mac & Cheese & Black Eyed Peas with sausage) were nice, everything was cooked and was served hot. The chicken was seasoned very well, I had dark pieces (leg & thigh) and both were sadly overcooked & bordering just on dry. I was a bit disappointed with that, especially since they were dark meat pieces. The staff was very friendly, service was prompt & courteous.

Had the garlic shrimp, grits with bacon, macaroni and green beans. Very delicious! My first time eating here, your staff was very pleasant! Thanks!!!!!

Good Southern food. Therosemary chicken was moist and tender. Grits are creamy and delicious. The mac and cheese and black eye peas were also very tasty. Come here for a good solid meal.

This is a relatively new establishment Love the scenery- moderate to low noise level- nice ambiance- perfect for date or group. Could even visit as a single diner Dinner was nice- ordered seafood- cleansing pallet paired nicely with the drinks Appetizers were well done Sides were a la carte and tasty as well Promoted Black Owned wines- McBride Sisters ❤️ Cocktails well prepared Had the pleasure of being greeted at the front by the owner G Garvin-pleasantly surprised

Delish (2) Fried Chicken ,Creamy tasty Grits, Rice & Mac&cheese Cheese ! all for 15$ Delta Terminal A . What a pleasant surprise ! Gotta be the best food at entire Atlanta Airport 👊❤😘

Pleasantly surprised to see seafood getting its due respect in airport eating. Offers tilapia, salmon, shrimp and tuna -- the former three cooked in southern style. I would have liked to see the baked tilapia with lemon sauce not overcooked and retain its flaky texture. The sauteed shrimp were large and tasty. Had french beans as the side -- fresh, crunchy and cooked just the right way. Food was a bit expensive but delighted to see an option to have protein meals, especially seafood proteins.

I stopped here for a salad on the way to my gate. I had time to get a salad and eat before my flight and I hadn't tried Low Country before. While it had a shorter line than other fast food places in this terminal, it also didn't exude grease! This was a plus and pulled me in. I could choose a Chopped Salad or a Caesar Salad. I chose a Chopped Salad which was $15.99, and then added shrimp and bacon. Total price was $17.27 with tax. The salad was huge. There was a lot of chopped shrimp and chopped bacon right on the top of the salad so I could see I got a lot. Everything on the salad tasted fresh. The greens were excellent and not a bad piece in the entire salad. The shrimp tasted fresh, the hard-boiled egg and corn were good too. The cherry tomatoes could've been riper but overall it was a huge, good-tasting salad. The salad came with a thick balsamic vinaigrette which was on the sweet side (sweeter than others I have had) but I just had a little bit. Service wasn't lightning fast, but it was fast enough. It had a lot of Southern hospitality and politeness to it even though I had to wait for my salad. Get a salad if you have some time to eat it!

We had a noon flight but wanted breakfast due to sleeping in and everyone else stopped serving breakfast at 10am. Low country had a great southern breakfast that was tasty, authentic, and reasonable at $10 since it is in the terminal. The white rose potato soup was delicious and particularly noteworthy. The biscuits and gravy were goo too.

Good southern cooking and I chose the baby back ribs and chopped chicken salad for my wife and I to split. Tasty, fall of the bone ribs and nothing special chopped chicken salad. Seemed very popular and a good alternative to the normal airport food. A real challenge to communicate with the servers for whatever reason, but things worked out. I'll be back.

Location #6065 on 2/14/2025@ 7:38pm Chk 20331. Rosmary Baked Chicken. The chicken was not cleaned properly. It was not baked rosemary seasoning. It was fried feather ducts. 3 pieces of chicken wings for $14.04. Low Country #6065 in Atl Hartsfield Airport is horrible. In these perilous economic times we are being forced to live in, a company must do better!!

Had a quick breakfast here on our layover enroute to Baltimore. We both had the scrambled eggs, I had the cheese grits, my wife the plain. Eggs good, what can you say about scrambled eggs in bulk? Not watery or burned. Cheese grits were surprisingly good. My wife like the regular too, cooked well, thick not runny. All in all a decent airport breakfast..

Surprising to find a Southern style restaurant. Tasty down home cooking which is a real change from the basic fast food options nearby. Had the chicken which was just very tasty. It hit the spot. What a nice change.

Absolutely the best place to eat at the Atlanta Airport. The fried and baked chicken is amazing Along with the Mac and cheese, it’s the best I’ve eaten out in a restaurant. I highly recommend it. I tried the salmon, it was just okay.

We had breakfast here on the way to a destination and a week later had dinner in the way home. Good cheese grits, Mac and cheese, very good ribs, and garlic shrimp. Breakfast had many choices you'd expect along with cheese grits meats, eggs, french toast, pancakes. Satisfied my craving. Great service. I'll stop here again the next time I'm in the Atlanta airport.

I cannot compliment the food and service enough. Usually whole traveling I settle for something quick and as nutritious as possible. I saw Low Country from a distance and decided to try it. It was amazing! So much that I have plans to stop by the restaurant on Atlanta for seafood and BBQ.

I was catching a flight in Terminal A Hartsfield and had time for dinner before my connecting flight. So I stopped at the food courts at the top of the escalator, the one you take to get into Terminal A from the train. This place is in the food court. I ordered the shrimp with bacon grits and black eyed peas as sides. The shrimp were sautéed and had a little pan seasoning. There were 8 shrimp, size was probably about 26 count per pound large. No shell but tail on. I removed the tails using a fork to pull the meat from inside the tail. Then I took the grits from their compartment and mixed with the shrimp sauce, putting the shrimp back on top. This was a shrimp and grits dish worthy of a fine restaurant in the city, and here I was in an airport. It was over the top delicious. The black eyed peas stayed on the side and made a perfect down home compliment. The staff were super nice from the beginning. But I went back after finishing to thank them and tell them how wonderful it was. Congratulations to Chef G. Garvin and fantastic staff for turning airport food court dining on its head.

Some of the bacon was all fat and the scrambled eggs were really runny and wet. I can’t eat food with the same consistency as snot.. The eating area was very clean and tidy. Associated Brandon took great care of us.

We ordered 2 chicken meals but charged 3. We were the only customer so, obviously, it was done on purpose. Please don’t take advantage of customers being tired and not able to checked correctness of charges.

It’s morning and it would be nice to be greeted with a happy server. The food looked good and would have tasted even better if it was served up with just a little care. I must say, there was a young fellow keeping the area clean and so cheerful with a smile on his face. He needs to be cloned!

Usually stop here for breakfast in between flights. This time I could try their lunch menu I had a chopped salad with blackened chicken and bacon. SOOOO fresh. Even had arugula!! Large pieces of bacon. Ripe tomatoes. Great shaved cheese. Glad I fly through here so much. Super staff.

This was a pleasant surprise to find good Southern food in the airport. Everything looked great. Salmon patties were to die for! Macaroni & cheese and potato bisque were also very good. The sweet tea really set it off. The best thing of all was the attitude of the servers. Very pleasant. Also someone kept coming around to quickly clean up tables, didn't see anyone leaning and goofing off. What a pleasant thing to what it usually is. As we were leaving, they asked to refill our drink cups. Really??? in a fast food place at the airport!

Was seeking a meal while waiting for a long delayed flight home from ATL airport. Choices are not very good at ATL but Low Country was pretty good. Good selection of chicken, ribs, salmon or shrimp with a choice of sides such as mac and cheese, greens or salad. Overall the quality of the food was good but the quantity a bit skimpy for the price. I would return since the quality seemed better than all nearby alternatives.

Very good food for an airport joint. Good low country cuisine at a good airport price. Worth it if you want something different from the chains.

It had been some time since I'd actually had a real "breakfast." Boy, am I glad that I took the opportunity to enjoy the meal at Low Country Southern Cuisine. It was absolutely the best! Initially, I was a bit hesitant. Mass produced and pre-prepared food stuffs typically aren't very appetizing. But, the aroma drew me in--despite my apprehensions. I had the breakfast special, which consisted of Cheese eggs, sautéed potatoes, a couple of sausages, and a biscuit (which I declined). The flavoring was perfection--not too salty or otherwise overly-seasoned. In that it was the special, the pricing was right. The portions were ample and the service was quick: considering there was a line and the airport seemed quite busy at that point. The team members were friendly and courteous. It felt just as if I was in someone's home and was being invited to join in and partake of the morning meal. If you have some time between flights and you find yourself in that concourse, I highly recommend you stop in at the Low Country Southern Cuisine establishment. Your taste buds will indeed be glad that you did!

Grits, eggs, bacon, and a biscuit; what more could you ever need? It was delicious. They also had breakfast potatoes and sausage links or patties. The restaurant is on Concourse A.

You don’t expect airport food to be good but this place serves a very nice breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were to die for and the scrambled eggs were delicious. You want your food fast and they give it to you that way. Having it be tasty was a bonus.

I was traveling between terminals and I saw this restaurant and decided to try the food. I'm so glad I did. The SW eggs were really good, cheese home fries and crispy bacon. The price was very affordable and the service was really friendly. Great experience.

I found this gem while waiting for my flight to Tampa at the airport in Atlanta. It was in the food court there. It is soul food. There are many options like salmon, shrimp, and two kinds of chicken. Many sides and bread. They ran out of biscuits and butter. The staff was nice. And the food was delicious. I ordered garlic green beans, Mac and baked rosemary chicken. It was $12!

We don't care for cafeteria food! Low Country Southern Cuisine is neither low country, nor cuisine. We hate the "combat seating" arrangements of the "eating area." Been there once; nevermore!

This place was an unexpected delight on our layover in ATL on the way to SFO. Great, home cooked southern breakfast with all the fixins! The cheese grits were absolutely the best I've ever had - crave-worthy! The chef seem to run this place and he does a great job! The place is clean and fast and the service friendly. Great job! Unexpected in an airport!

Delicious food! We were pleasantly surprised! It is a must if you are in ATL it is a must stop! We had fried chicken, the best Mac n cheese, green beans, and bacon and grits. So so goof

The dispaly is appealing, but it stops there. The sour dough bread was light on flavor, the bread was greasy, overall the sandwich was cold and at least they could do is cut it in half!

I had the Rosemary Chicken with a side of baked macaroni and spicy blackened eyed beans. I was pleasantly surprised and would stop again.

Rosemary chicken! Always stop to get it when I'm passing through! I've never had anything not good here! Sides are always amazing you can't go wrong with anything you get!

This macaroni and cheese is tasty! It doesn't have that fake Velveeta taste. It is creamy with the right amount of salt, pepper, and plenty of cheese. Definitely tastes like somebody put a lot of effort into it.

Omg... passed through on my vacation time last month... got the salmon with green beans and no bake mac n cheese, absolutely delish! I seriously need a satellite location outside the airport so I can try more of their food!

WHERE do they find the lovely helpful people who work there? Great friendly service, terrific food, and very affordable. Amazing for an airport eatery.

The food was great and the service was excellent. It was my first time eating there and Shelia was awesome and very helpful

Two sides with an entree. Good mac and cheese. Peas were a bit salty. Everything else, dry and bland especially the salmon filet and garlic shrimp.

I had the biscuits, gravy, sausage and egg platter. It was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Only complaint is airport prices. In the seating area of the ATL airport Brandon helped us out. Very friendly and hard working. Appreciated his proactive service in clearing our table and watched him clear many other areas keeping the area clean and inviting.

Was at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport and stopped by G. Garvins bistro in the food court A terminal. The food looked and smelled great and they had my favorite dessert on the menu, bread pudding. I decided to try the caramel bacon version and it was the worst I've ever had. It was shaped like a small round pie with bacon crumbles on top and was caramel colored. The texture through out was dense, gummy and I couldn't taste or see any actual caramel or the traditional spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. The bacon was hard and chewy and the dessert did not have any bacon flavor in it. Totally disappointed with G. Garvin, expectations were high based on his reputation but turned off by the poor quality.

Donna was great very helpful. Staff friendly and kind. Food was fresh, warm and delicious! Would definitely eat here again.

Stopped here for lunch this time. GREAT! Had the grilled salmon (nice portion) with garlic potatoes and garlic string beans. Tasty and comforting. Yepp, I was feeling so 'comfortable' it seemed like during my walk to my flight I was smiling all the way (I was). 2 BURPS

I wanted a 'real' meal but not a sit down place that would cost $30 by the time all was said and done. Is there such a place? YES! The Low Country located in the "A Terminal" of the Atlanta Airport had 'home cooked' foods at a reasonable price. And the food tasted quite good. What a surprise. Even the service was far above average for 'typical' Atlanta, which was a nice experience. I got the salmon in butter dill sauce, mack & cheese, and the broccoli and it was all very good. Total, with a soda, was under $18, which is a great deal when you think about it. The salmon was moist, properly cooked, and was flaky and flavorful. The mac & cheese actually tasted great and had good texture, which was a surprise. And the broccoli was fresh, rounding out a very nice meal. I would definitely eat here again. Thanks for a great dining experience in an unexpected place. I appreciated it!

My BF and I had a 5 hour layover, and debated whether we should exit the airport for a quick southern bite or wait around until the restaurants opened in the airport. We decided to stay and had our hearts (and stomachs) set on a Southern meal. The cheesy shrimp and grits with cheesy eggs were exactly what I was craving and hit the spot in the right way. Highly recommend!

After being sorely disappointed by the Food Network restaurant here at ATL a few weeks ago, I am thrilled that LowCountry New Southern Cousine is not just a licensed brand but a place that it serving up actually well done food! Had the Mac & Cheese, the Cheese Grits w Bacon and sautéed Green Beans. All were excellent. The Ladies who worked behind the counter actually acted like they liked the food! They were nice and seemed to care! They smiled! I would definitely go back here for a meal or snack. Well done "Chef G". By the way - you guys should brand your to go packaging instead of some generic black foam pack. I had to go back to see who prepared the excellent food I had enjoyed!

Seems every time I eat breakfast at the airport, I end up with awful heartburn, so I make it a point to take something or eat before I go, today I couldn't avoid it and tried this place in Concourse A in Atlanta. I'd probably call it good rather than very good, the highlight was the biscuits and gravy and the cheese grits. Everything was better than I expected at the airport.

All airport restaurants are overpriced and this one was no exception. I chose this one over Popeye's. I would say that the chicken is less greasy, and the blackeyed peas was a good side dish. Popeye's has much better rice though. Prices were about the same.

When you are hurrying to cram down breakfast before you rush off to catch flight, your expectations are not high. This place exceeded my low expectations. The grits were actually good. The servers weren’t surly.

The eggs are powered. The grits could be wall paper paste. I’m sure there must be better options for breakfast in this food court.

Walking through the Atlanta airport and looking for something hearty and beyond the typical chain or $9 sandwich, I saw this little gem in Concourse A. The fried chicken, mac & cheese, and collard greens were filling and flavorful and well worth ten bucks! This Southern girl loves her comfort food but even if you aren't from around here, y'all, when in Rome... Skip the boring chain food and treat yo self.

Definitely good, home cooked breakfast. My only complaint is that they didn't have tops for their cups. This made it a little hard to maneuver around with luggage in the airport.

I had a really nice fresh salad full of vegetables. What a refreshing option in an airport! Anna went the extra mile to make sure I had the right toppings. Appreciate your service!

Two small chicken thighs, very dried up and tired (the chicken, not me) and two spoons of black peppered zuchinni for nearly $15 bucks. The very nice staff acted embarrassed and I was embarrassed for them.

They have a nice selection of southern style food from chicken to rice and veggies. I traveled thru Atlanta and ordered the same fried chicken garden salad each way. It was very good. I did have to wait the second time for a few minutes for it to be made up. The sauce was extremely good.

Getting decent food, particularly breakfast, in an airport can be challenging. Based on other reviews we had read, we were looking forward to Low Country, located in Concourse A in the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. I got a biscuit with bacon, cheese and a fried egg. My husband got biscuits and gravy. We shared an order of grits. Both the biscuits and my egg (cooked very hard, unfortunately) tasted slightly of rancid shortening. The consistency of the biscuit was crumbly, not good for a biscuit sandwich. My husband said this was the worst sausage gravy he had ever eaten. The grits were okay, but not really worth the $4+ price. I did not have the scrambled eggs, but they looked pretty rubbery. The people who worked there were nice, but the food was not. My order was not quick. Not a good value. Frankly, I found myself wondering whether I ate in the same restaurant as the prior reviewers. Needs work.

Had the blackened shrimp, fresh green beans and fresh broccoli. I usually eat at Pascals but liked this much better - not as greasy. Food was perfectly seasoned, served hot and the vegetables were not over cooked.

You don't find this type Resturant in an airport. It's cafeteria dryly and the food is VERY GOOD! Had the fried chicken and vegetables. Service is really good. That's 2 things you don't normally find in a airport. I didn't think it was expensive for what you get. If you end up in Terminal B, I would highly recommend this place. Service was great too.

For southern food at the airport I usually hit Paschals, but short on time I stopped here on my concourse for dinner. I figured how can you go wrong at 630pm with fried chicken, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. I figured wrong! The fried chicken was so over done I was hard pressed to get even a few bites of the thigh. Green beans were al dente, but too salty to enjoy. Lastly, the Mac n cheese was a dried out mess! Waste of money, time, calories and a meal! 😖

Hoped the reviews were right and they were. We had fried chicken and summer squash - much above fast food junk.

I wanted to try a different kind of restaurant for a change instead of the same old Burger King, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s fare! I ordered the shrimp from Low Country and it was very good but the service was awful! The two people seemed totally disinterested in their jobs! Six Georgia shrimp for $12...but no smile. Bad service can kill a unique original restaurant. If you don’t get that right, you won’t be in the Atlanta airport much longer!

I had a short layover before a flight to Savannah and this as a much better option than the glut of fast food. The Fried chicken was great as were my sides. They have sweet tea. worth a stop on Terminal A

Stopped by G. Garvin’s Low Country Restaurant on my way from ATL to Orlando. Although everything looked and smelled great, I tried the Shrimp & Grits with a side of garlic green beans. I almost never finish a plate of food the size of what I received (it would have normally been at least 2 meals)! But, it was so wonderfully delicious, I ate the whole thing between the waiting area and the plane! I couldn’t wait to return home to ATL, and prayed I would return to the same terminal! I did, and picked up another order—this time with a side of broccoli—excellent again. I definitely WILL go back again to try other things, even if I have to leave home earlier, if my flight is not leaving out of Terminal ‘A’!!! The 3 for the atmosphere is only because it was the airport, after all! Can’t wait to try his Midtown Steakhouse—no doubt it Eli be a 5 across the board!!!

I know, bad pun but the food offerings at the ATL has improved tremendously in recent years. The service was of course counter service but kind of cafeteria style and was quick and easy. The food was served hot and was nicely spiced. I like a little fire in my food.

Our Concourse A flight is boarding in thirty minutes, and as we exercise our legs, I know that Low Country – New Southern Cuisine is Center Concourse A. A Goldberg’s bagel was ok, and we look at Low Country’s options for future reference. Cheesy Bacon Grits looks fine, and taste even better. We are uncertain that Low Country would be our choice for Hartsfield dining, but Cheesy Bacon Grits are very good. We take note that there are several USN sailors making flight connections.

Pros: Cheesey Scrambled Eggs and Sausage Links were decent. Cons: Biscuits were average at best. Gravy was gawd awful; tasted like weak flavored sweet milk and was cold. Combined with the biscuits, it was like eating cold watery paste....Not good!

Love Southern Cooking. When I was inquiring about the bread pudding and the server tried to talk me out of it I should have listened. I asked if it was served warm and was told yes but it was barely warm! The idea of warm creamy bread pudding with bacon on top called my name. Barely warm and very little flavor - the bacon on top was the best thing. The black eyed peas were southern comfort food but they had very little taste. There are better choices so not sure I would try this one again.

Today I was interested in less-typical lunch food (not fast food). I found Low Country #6065 in Concourse A of the ATL airport. The shrimp with sautéed onions and green and red peppers was perfectly cooked and quite flavorful. The baby carrots in sauce was a nice accompaniment, as were the black-eyed peas in a tasty broth. I met Michelle (an employee) while eating my yummy meal. She was very pleasant and delighted to know how much I enjoyed the food. If you like Low Country cooking, you won’t be disappointed!
Best airport food I've ever had
It was nice to see a locally-owned, authentic Southern restaurant like Low Country in the Atlanta airport. The staff were knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, and our food was delicious! My wife had the tilapia, and I had baby-back ribs, with sides of green beans, mac & cheese, and roasted potatoes, all of which were perfect - clearly cooked fresh, and kept fresh. No sad steam table veggies, stale potatoes, or gluey Mac here. My ribs were cooked just right, and came in a healthy portion, with a good bark and delicious, spicy sweet tomato sauce on the side. My wife's tilapia was equally tasty. On the whole, the food was great, the prices were reasonable for airport food, and I'd happily search this place out the next time I come through ATL. It's in A concourse, just off the main restaurant intersection near the Boar's Head deli.
