After several hours shopping at La Cantera, we wandered into this pizzeria, which has both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a sunny day sitting outside felt wonderful. My friend and I shared a 12 inch margherita pizza which was plenty large enough for two (and would have been a bit big for one). The crust was nice and crispy and not too thin - and the sauce was excellent. Service was excellent and very friendly. Would most certainly return.

Nice location and service but kitchen execution is seriously lacking. Took them 3 tries to figure out difference between feta and blue cheese!

I can't find the RiverCenter Mall location, but that is were my wife ate her spinach pizza while I went to another booth for my lunch. I thought the pizza looked a little pale, she said it was great.

Their chicken alfredo pizza is the best and it's reasonably priced! Also the Canoli's are pretty awesome! Will definitely be coming here again. Customer service was also very good!

Was walking around La Cantera mall and stumbled onto Luciano; figured I'd give it a try. It wasn't the best pizza I've had, but it was good and I'd go back. I had one of their Neapolitan pizzas; thin crust and only 12 inches; Perfect for just one. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Decent selection of wine too. Enjoy.

I had the chance to visit this restaurant and I really like it, I really like good pizza and this place was perfect, the ingredients fresh and the flavor of the wood and the stone oven just right, our server Sara she was very good and polite she really took care of us. Thank you Sara, also the hostess very polite and they will answer all your questions, I really recommend this Pizzeria check it out.

Food was great and it was delivered quite quickly however what was not so good was the waiter asking is if we wanted deserts about 5 minutes after the main course had arrived because the kitchen was closing at 7pm (it was Sunday). We split an 18 inch pizza and it was delicious, probably one of the best I've had in quite some time. I will recommend this place however keep an eye on their closing times :)

Table wasn't cleaned well. Ordered new item on menu, veggie pizza. Placed on menu options and we were first to order. Crust held up well and the pizza had a very clean taste. In other words you can taste all the components of the dish individually.

We normally drive to the Huebner location (closer) for pizza take-out. Agreed with a prior review - the Huebner location has the best pizza crust. This comes a really close second. For the cost, this is the best pizza in San Antonio that we've found in 6 months. Dough's is hands down best - but it is always crowded and cost makes it a "special occasion" only pizza. We have pizza from Luciano's several times a month. This location is great - next to the shopping in La Cantera! We opted to split a salad and cheese raviolis before a smaller pizza. Gotta branch out and try new food. The service was good - attentive and friendly with helpful suggestions. Red sauce on the ravioli (and pie) was magnifique! They have a good selection of wines that are affordable - and you can find in local grocery stores/Specs. I hate getting attached to a wine at a restaurant only to discover you can only order it from the winery in California .. or not even that. Next time - saving room for dessert.

Went to the Shops at La Cantera for the day and saw this place while walking around. Smelled wonderful! A real wood fire going on in the pizza oven. A very nice selection of pizzas available from thin crust to deep dish to stuffed crust. Lasagna platter with salad and garlic bread for $10. Not a bad value. Three other pasta choices and a variety of salads as well as desserts at not bad prices. Calzones and Stromboli, too! Two people filled up with beverage for $14.00.

Sat here for twenty minutes and was never waited on. Nice location but will never visit this establishment again. I will say it again: Horrible service.

Our family had Pizza here and everyone had a different order. kids had pasta. The staff were great and highly professional and quick service. Everyone enjoyed this pizza so much that we decided to visit this restaurant often. The pizza crust was great and I have not had such great pizza anywhere in the world. I specially like to appreciate the manager, the lady was so polite and hospitable. I have little comment and like to inform the manager that the men toilet is not upto the standard of such nice restaurant. The floor was dirty and unmanaged

My family and I have our favorite Luciano restaurant in Stone Oaks blvd so after shopping in Cantera we later went to Luciano at Cantera. The place looks great, we were seated quickly and served promptly. We asked for bruschetta which is normally served on focaccia bread but at Cantera they use a toasted cracker and we quickly noted it was flavorless, we love garlic which I believe was left out. We ask the waiter if they served complimentary bread with olive oil and bruschetta during dinner, the water replied no. We explained that the Luciano that we regularly go to does to which the waiter politely replied that he was sorry and that those options depend on the owner since they are a franchise. We asked for two meat calzones and one meat Stromboli which came out reasonably quick and were tasty except for half oft my son's calzone crust was very hard and dry. All in all the food was good but I recommend the Luciano on Stone Oak Blvd it will not disappoint! The menu is even a bit cheaper than Cantera

Took my kids to one of their favorite hangouts, Luciano's. After waiting for about 10 minutes, had to find a waiter to get drinks then, hand to find a waiter to get an order in. The restaurant was busy and you could tell there was some disorganization. The manager came to our table because I had asked for an item they could not do. I explained the situation and told him the importance of communication because they were busy and that I understood because I use to run restaurants. Shannon provided great service and you could tell things got better at the restaurant once things slowed down. Overall the food is wonderful. The atmosphere is great if you like being in Italy but service could be improved upon. I will be back with my family!

What can I say great salads, eggplant, pasta, and wines etc ...... Dont forget the deserts. This place iis greay and I will return. The service was flawless. I will be back again and again. Wish they would have sliding glass doors...like in Italy. Jimmy/ Luciano keep up the great work.

These two brothers work hard and every location that they open is a work of love. They put Mama's receipts at work. My wife's favorite is there eggplant. Their salads and home made breads are fresh always.great selection of their own brand of wine. Their taste in wine is like Their taste in cars...Red that is. I almost forgot their deserts. Stop in and experience a true taste of Naples. Way to go GC, LC, and Mama C.

I ws walking ar La Cantera, got hungry, and went into Luciano Pizzeria for lunch. It was good in the sense that it´s at a level to be expected. The Chick Bacon Pizza was tasty and well cooked but nothing really stood out. At the end I ordered a cappuccino with the bad luck that the espresso machine wasn't working. So Luciano served its purpose but not much more than that.

There is no kids menu so be prepared to pay adult prices. The kitchen staff was super slow. We waited 20 minutes for a late lunch with only four other tables seated. We had no complaints about our waiter or the food. The pizza was excellent.

Stopped here for lunch. The service was quick and friendly. My single slice of pizza arrived promptly. The price was reasonable and I enjoyed the outdoor seating. I would return here.

Very good pizza and food for a place at the mall. You can have a break from shopping and eat something and have a beer.

We have eaten here twice while visiting San Antonio. Both times we were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather so we dined on the patio. We all love the pizza there. The kids and husband enjoyed a Ceasar Salad with their meal. I had the Mediterranean Salad with chicken and it was perfect! Such great food. The only thing missing was a glass of wine that the server could have easily persuaded me to enjoy. We ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer. It was on thick bread slices versus the thin crisp baguette slices that I prefer, but still, it was good. We look forward to visiting again next time we are there.

We were seated and the manager came over. I acknowledged that my dog was a service dog. He tried to tell me she can't be in there because they prepare food and she has hair. He offered to give us better accommodations. He was going to put us on the uncovered outside patio, it was 96 degrees and very humid. My husband and I tried to educated him that service dogs are allowed where I am allowed and that he was violating the American Disabilities Act. He did not want to hear it. My husband asked him for his name and he refused to give it to him. We left and went to a better restaurant.

We were looking for something different it is a pizzeria. My husband ordered the meaty calzone it was a good portion and I ordered a pepperoni roll both were very good and the marinara sauce was excellent my husband doesn’t care much for marinara sauce and he said this one was excellent

We stopped for pizza and a beer at Luciano's in the LaCantera Mall. Pizza was excellent and dinning on the outdoor patio was very nice. The owner was supervising some decorating of the patio area and came over to talk with us. Nice touch. Service was prompt and prices are very reasonable.

The service was excellent and the food was great especially for a pseudo-fast food pizzeria. The pizzas are cooked to perfection in an Italian pizza oven and the antipasto is to die for. We definitely recommend it! Logan our waiter, did an absolutely wonderful job and made sure that he took care of everything that we needed. We had: Bruschetta (Excellent) Antipasto (Amazing) Quattro Stagioni (Delicious) And a Cannoli (Great finisher) The ambience of the restaurant is busy but at the same time cozy and almost home like.

Stopped in for a bite while shopping. The restaurant is cute and we were seated right away. When I say the service was just ok, it's because nobody smiled! Our food was good-shared a salad between the two of us and I got the spinach stromboli, which was plenty filling.

We have eaten in 2 other Luciano Pizzeria, the one by Huebner so far has the best pizza. Their crust is nice and crispy and generous with the fillings.

Came here for a work lunch. The restaurant doesn’t accept reservations but we’re able to accommodate our party of 10, no problem. Luckily it wasn’t overly busy around 2:30 in the afternoon. Good location right in the heart of La Cantera mall and has good ambiance with the lighting and decor. Our server was nice and did a good job with a large table. We got some apps - fried calamari, Mac n cheese bites and garlic bread - all of which lacked flavor. I got the Quattro pizza which had 4 quarters of toppings - pepperoni, sausage, prosciutto & mushroom. Although a unique pizza, it was also lacking flavor and the topics themselves weren’t as exciting as I’d hoped. It was still good, but nothing to write home about. I didn’t have dessert but several options on the menu that looks tasty.

I had Luciano panini Samwich and chip and was wonderful Samwich and tea was good to bruschetta was good to and people was very freindly the i like the food so much their place was clean to and the restroom was very clean James

Salad was good, bread wonderful, wrap good too, but the styrofoam plate, bowl and glass along with the plastic utensils ruin the good food. Don't like plastic when I eat out.

Great place to people watch. Didn’t like the fact that they only have a pizza that serves 2 people or a size that serves 6 people. Caprese salad was excellent. Pizza was very good but quite expensive.

The food, the environment, as well as the friendliness of the server was superb. The meat lovers pizza was a little bit too salty. I am well pleased with the service.

We love Luciano’s Pizzeria. Our favorite is the calzone and stromboli but they have a wide range of dishes for lunch. Friendly and easy access. Always a good choice.

Luciano's in Stone Oak is our favorite Italian Restaurant in San Antonio. The food is superb especially the Bruschetta, Chicken Parm and the Pizza. We also love their salads and bread. The people are also warm and welcoming. We highlight recommend it.

I had the server gabe and not only was he rude but never gave me any of my refills and talked back to me… I thought customer was always right? the food order was all wrong. was considering catering to our annual medical mixer but after that experience I will never be coming to a Luciano’s nor my associates again.

We ordered side salads and a large pepperoni/sausage pizza with mushrooms. The salads were pretty good and the thousand Island dressing was above average. The pizza was enough for four adults and really good! The crust was thin and crispy, we ordered the ground sausage and loved it. It is in a shopping mall and gets pretty busy.

My wife and I are Northeastern transplants to the San Antonio are (me from New England / she from Queens). We have been looking for thEEE San Antonio pizza place for seven years now; and there are some other very nice places but now we have finally found IT! Luciano's (at La Cantera) is that place in or around SATX that you want to go to for pizza if you are very fussy about your pizza. The service was attentive and friendly, the portions were generous, the price was quite reasonable, the fare was fresh, the experience and AND the product were OUTSTANDING. I ordered the Pizza Margherita, the simple, classic Neapolitan - and it was done to perfection. My wife had one with prosciutto, and I can attest that it was excellent the next morning, cold right out of the frig, for breakfast ;-) The only Margherita that you will find better is just off of Piazza del Pleblctio (in Naples) where is was first made in the 1880s or 90s. Most highly recommend Lucianos in La Cantera if you are truly and annoyingly fussy about the taste of your pizza.

Friend an I went here for lunch today. We have been to the one in Stone Oak, and loved it. We were at La Cantera shopping and decided to eat here. The restaurant looks beautiful. You can eat outside or inside. We got seated right away. We got our menus and someone took our drink orders and said someone would be with us right away. Guess it depends on what right away means to them. We wait more than five minutes for someone, a waitress, finally come up to us and ask if anyone has helped us. We said no, and she took our order. She was a good waitress, but left for long periods of time. Finally when she returned I got a refill on my lemonade. When asked if my meal came with bread or salad, she said no. Then ten minutes after the meals arrive, she brings bread. On a trip to the restroom, some staff members were at a table making up trays which looked like they were going to use for catering. One of the guys working there, laid some cheese down, then pick up another piece and ate it. You had to walk past the area they were doing trays at to get to the restrooms. The food was good but could have used more salt, but it was a very generous serving. The thing that irritated me the most is how most of the waiter and waitresses just stood around and talked to each other. Many passed us many times and didn't bother to see if we have been helped. I will go to the one on Stone Oak, but not this one again. There are enough other good restaurants in this mall to try,

Came here with no expectations and wow! The pizza was amazing cooked in a brick oven. Ordered an 18" pizza for the family and I and it came within 10mins. Before I knew it we had finished the huge pizza with no issues. We ordered a regular canoli for desert and it was made to perfection. This place is a major go so if your in the area come check it out.

Enjoyed the food there and also the great view of the riverwalk. It was a gorgeous day so more than glad that we passed by for lunch

Food was average, service was average. Had the margherita pizza and house Merlot. Not enough basil. Only 5 partial leaves on whole pizza. Wine was decent for price. Just nothing memorable about this place to come back.

We stopped by here while shopping at La Cantera a few days ago. It was just ok. Food was decent, nothing too special. There were a few things that bugged me. They had an area that had the salad ingredients and where servers get the food. All the female workers there had mid to long hair, and they were all down. I figured if you would be in the food area, the hair should at least be tied back for sanitary purposes. Another thing is their bathroom. I went there a few times for the kids to use it, and it seems like no one is assigned to clean it. There were a few employees that used it and did not do anything about the filthiness. I'm not sure if I would try this place again.

This restaurant's location at La Cantera shopping mall offers more room and a full service menu. And the food is just as good as the other Luciano's we've tried.

We visited the shopping center while waiting for our hotel room to be ready and the restaurant seating under the trees by the fountain looked so inviting that we decided to enjoy a glass of wine and some late lunch. The service was excellent and we were even more delighted at how fresh and delicious the food was.

I have tried their eggplant parmigiana and it’s the best. Great service! I would never get tired of coming back this place.
Great "Italian Chef" Ciro Cucco
This place was called "Va Bene" and I go there because of their Neapolitan Chef, Ciro Cucco...Although used to be better as "Va Bene", Ciro stayed with the change of management and now it is another Luciano Pizzeria. Because I am Italian descendant and speak the language sometimes I request Ciro some good Italian Neapolitan touch on my orders. Great pizza al forno di legno and good menu...Thanks and appreciation to hard working Ciro Cucco, Chef mamager..If you like Italian food just Check it out. Salute!!
