No one ever hears that, right? Except maybe when their team is playing on MNF. But if you can get yourself to Lucky's Last Chance on a Monday, do it. Mondays will never be the same. Why? Because Mondays are Grilled Cheese Day and wow what a joy! They pack their famous Mak & Cheese between two slabs of bread, cook it up and voila! straight up grilled So many choices: cheese & mak, grilled cheese & cajun chicken mak, BBQ chicken mak & cheese, even a French dip. We had the basic and the cajun, with, of course, a side of jalapeno cheese tots because, well, why not? What a an amazing grilled cheese sandwich: so creamy and tangy. Oh man, I can't wait for Monday again!

Got takeout from Lucky's during our Philly visit. The burgers were very good, high quality, but far too salty. The fries and onion straws were very tasty. A great place to eat in Manayunk!

Love Lucky's! It's a bar/restaurant with the best hamburger's, French fries and Tatar Tots around! Every month they have a specialty burger which is something you always just want to try... and their list of beers is amazing! I am in my 60's and love eating there for lunch and or dinner. They have 2 floors. Second floor has lots of tables for eating and a small bar area... and downstairs is more of their bar with just a few tables in the back and in the front. I love to sit up front and people watch since it's on Main St in Manayunk where there's always things going on. Stop by and say hi to the bartenders. They are truly a really good group of people!!!

heard such great things about this place, so while in the area we had to give it a shot...and we were not disappointed....great burgers...we recommend the mac attack, the joocey lucy,, and my boy blue....all great on a chilly fall day.....friendly and attentive service also...

We randomly came here one night and I’m happy we did. I got the classic burger with onion strings. It was a good amount of food and their prices are affordable.

Now I'm not a small man by any shakes and need a bit extra when I'm hungry....luckily (see what I did there) I've come to know this glorious establishment over the past several years of living in the area and they are they only place I will go to substitute a home grilled burger. These are always 9 or 10 of 10. I've gotten far too many of my friends hooked on these succulent burgs. I've had most of them and can safely say let your curiosity get the best of you here, for you may find one you love better than the last. These are big and messy so no putting em down and no fork and knife, just go to town. It's why napkins were invented. My go to these days is the classic and the bacon egg and cheese. And of course always wash it down with a nice whisky. Also this place is great since it's not a shoulder to shoulder meat locker, plenty of room, and even on crowded nights there's still a spot for you!

It has a really cool vibe with great music. The food and the service were spot on. It takes a little bit to get food etc if the place is packed but well worth it. I had the PB and Bacon burger which was really good For me there were way too many competing tastes but it was still a really good burger. It won't be one I get again but it doesn't take anything away from this being a 5-star place. I am looking forward to trying some of the other ones like the Mak ad cheese that everyone goes on about. This is clearly going to become a regular haunt.

We came here on a food and walking tour. We sampled the peanut butter and jelly bacon cheeseburger which was cold and gross. I hope when they have seated customers that the food is better!

My family stopped in to Lucky's Last Chance for an early dinner. What a "Lucky" stop for us. The menu made it difficult to make a decision of selecting just the burger you wanted. We each made our selections from the large craft brew menu and then ordered our food. We completely enjoyed everything that arrived. GREAT PLACE! Our server, Alyssa, was second to none. Charmingly pleasant, helpful, quick, and just a pleasure to be around. What a wonderful experience.

I've been a burger person my entire life and this place is hands down my favorite place to get a burger and a beer. From the creative burger and dog menu (don't try ordering a salad from here lol), the great beer menu that rotates weekly, and the great atmosphere, Lucky's just does burgers right. The staff has great recommendations too if you can't decide between the great variety of beers and beef. Definitely a must try.

Lucky's is an awesome place for burgers and fries,if u find a better one plz post it coz I haven't had a better yummier juicier burger in America so far and the fries are melt in ur mouth kinds ... cannot miss it if ur in Philadelphia ... and it's on Main Street so that's the Main Street to be at for food and booze !! Cheers

We went to Lucky's this past weekend for lunch and tried a couple different burgers, which we split between us. The cheese-steak burger and boy blue were very tasty. We'd also ordered a side of regular mac and cheese. Seems like an easy dish that everyone can make and technically it is, if you want the standard Velveeta version, which I'm not saying is bad, but doesn't belong in a restaurant. Lucky's mac and cheese is definitely not the standard. It was simply awesome. I highly recommend eating it slowly in small bites to maximize the time to enjoy the flavor. Service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try other items and more mac and cheese!

Great burgers, good atmosphere, welcoming staff. Definitely will visit again. Had the Mak Attack and was not disappointed. Flower Power is very refreshing for a hot day.

Lucky's is currently one of my top 5 bars. If you're looking for a chill place to hangout in philly go to Lucky's. The food is spectacular, the service is excellent, and the beer does not stop flowing. Lucky's has some great burgers, (TIP : The Weirder the better) I had the PB&J Burger, Peanut Butter and Jelly on a burger and it was life changing. I am now a different person because of this burger. I loved it and the Mac and cheese was beyond amazing. This was my first time in Philly and I will be traveling back just for this place. Looking for a great place to grab a beer or drink? Head to Lucky's but please BE NICE OR LEAVE.

Ordered the popular cheesey Mak Attack. It is exactly what you think, think, cheesy and good. It was a bit too rich. But if that's how you like it, please chow down on the beautiful delicately places Mac and cheese burger. The meat was a tad dry, not equally juice but worth the price. Be a man and get the standard.

the perfect bar with even better burgers. Also hot dogs, tots and french fries. Excellent beer selection. Love the ambiance and the staff. Funky decor. its a popular place, so it can be a problem getting a seat during peak times. HIghly recommend. Peanut Butter and Jelly Bacon Burger for life!!!!

beer snob confession: too seasonal, lacking variety; average fries; substitute Impossible for any meat burger...!

I was only in town for a quick overnight trip. I searched for an open restaurant and Lucky's came up. I showed up about 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and had no idea what order because I didn't have much time to review the whole menu. One of the bartenders recommended the PB & Bacon burger; I am SO glad I accepted his recommendation! I was a little apprehensive because the thought of peanut butter on a burger was difficult to fathom...It was one of the best burgers I've eaten!! AND, they put grape jelly on the side!! (Not to mention the food came out pretty fast.) The bartenders were very friendly and made an awesome Manhattan!! I was very pleased with my decision to visit Lucky's. If I am ever in Philly again, I will definitely stop by again! One more note to add...A huge thanks to Anthony (Manager) for helping me with a billing situation. He saved me a big headache!!

Visited Lucky's on a Monday in mid-June around 7pm. Found parking on the street right in front of the restaurant (a big PLUS in Manayunk) and got a table right away. The bartender (fantastic!, Four stars!) gave us a quick review of the beer and food menus, plus a history of the restaurant *and* later, a review of upcoming tastings. I had the Dogfish World Wide Stout (ABV:18%, Wow.) and the PB & Bacon Burger (outrageously good), my daughter had a Mak Attack and we shared a plate of Onion Strings. The strings were good, reminiscent of that chain restaurant's blooming onion. I DEVOURED the PB burger and was so full I couldn't even taste the Mac Attack, and besides my tastebuds were numb from the Dogfish. The waitress who brought our beers was a Gogol Bordello fan. I've eaten in a few Manayunk establishments but this was, by far, the best. Highly recommended!

I had found this place online before we visited. Tough parking on a busy day we ended up parking in a side lot. It's a nice area though. We were a little hesitant when we first walked in the place itself was very small downstairs with limited seating. They ended up opening the seating upstairs for us and another group. Burgers were very good so were the onion straws. Two of us got the burger with Bleu cheese and our third person got the peanut butter and jelly burger which he said was delicious. They also have a wide variety of beer as well. The only thing we didn't really like was that the appetizer list was a little limited. We would have liked some wings.

I was on a food tour and tasted the peanut butter/jelly burger. Was suppose to have bacon on it but my friend and I did not get the bacon. Burger was not warm let alone hot. Best part was the ice cold water after a long hot walk!

If you are a fan of burgers and like to be adventurous this is the place to check out. This bar/restaurant is welcoming to people of all ages. Do try the peanut butter bacon beef burger that is served with a sweet jelly that actually works.

Went last night with my wife to check this place out as it has been awhile since we have had some kind of gourmet or specialty burger. First, the decor is cool and the music is just the right loudness. Second, the hostess and the waiter were good. Third, the wait time wasn't to bad. Fourth, the fries were tasty and the burgers were good. I got the cheese amigos and they were good. My wife got the garlic fries and they were also good. I ordered the Greek burger and my wife had the Buffalo wing burger and our burgers were good. Overall a good experience but like I said extremely pricey for just burger and fries.

Ate here after helping our son move in to his house - and it was just what we needed considering we'd been working all day. Upstairs A/C was cold and it felt good on this 90 degree day. Bar food? Yes, but lots of combinations you don't see anywhere else and it was good.

Just had an opportunity to taste the best of Philly burger. Really good! It was a bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter. On the side was a berry jelly to dip the sandwich in. Yummy!

Had a black bean burger here as part of my vegetarian option on the Chew Philly tour and it was quite tasty. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back here again to try something else off the menu, or just get the same yummy burger again.

Lucky's has a casual, relaxing atmosphere that makes it a great place to take a group of friends. Their food is delicious! For just a "burger place", they have a ton of unique burger selections. My favorite is the mac 'n cheese burger and my boyfriend loves the buffalo chicken topped burger. The crinkle fries with the cheese sauce are my favorite too! Pair your meal with any of their great beers or drinks from the bar that are made to order. I'm definitely taking my out of town friends and family here the next time they visit. It has become one of my favorite places on Main Street since I moved here about a year ago.

Found this place online while stuck in traffic and I was hungry so I decided to stop and wait out the traffic. I was very surprised when I walked in that I had to go upstairs. Good thing I can do stairs! It was a nice place and I did enjoy my meal. Would go back

Super service, food and beverages. Great beer selection with a knowledgeable staff. The friendly patrons cap off this place in a great location with a cool neighborhood vibe

Stopped at Lucky's during the Chew Philly Food Tour. What a nice surprise. Who woulda thunk that a Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheeseburger could be so delicious. And we enjoyed the many beers.

Lucky’s Last Chance makes what I consider to be the best burgers available in Philadelphia. They have a great range of burgers, but the two best in my opinion are the El Guapo and the Gorgonzilla. Not only are these packed with flavor, but only the very best of ground beef is used. It’s no surprise they routinely win awards for their burgers. Even posting this review and photo makes me want to return immediately. I recommend the darker beers to pair with these two burgers too. Enjoy!

As stated in my title, I'm so glad that I finally checked this place out. My review is of the cocktails, but I need to make it a point to come back because their burgers look really good. I stopped in here yesterday for a few drinks. The staff here are really friendly and know how to pour a drink. I had the rum punch which was delicious and potent. My companions had beer and said that the list was pretty decent. Of note, the clientele here was also pleasant. The bar was full, but not of people pounding drinks and acting foolish, which can sometimes be a hard thing to avoid when you are out in Manayunk. I think this probably had something to do with the positive and relaxed vibes that the staff put out. I will definitely be back!

Prompt friendly service, excellent burgers, trendy locations! Well seasoned and perfectly cooked burger. This place has won awards for good reason. :-)

we visited on a Saturday night and it was packed! 45 minutes for a table, so we sat at the bar. We got the tots with pulled pork and they were great! I had the pb&j burger while my husband got the gorgonzola burger. Both were fantastic AND they had a cranberry sour beer on tap which was great!

Have you ever had a meal where everything works out perfectly? This was our experience here. After a long day of a flea market, driving, and walking around, we asked my brother-in-law and his wife to pick a place to eat near where they live. This was their choice. Honestly, our experience could not have been better. Great atmosphere. good beer list. Unique menu. Superb service. Soon after taking our seats, our server arrived with our menus. Our first drinks were served promptly. Our second round were served in record time. (Less than a minute). When i mentioned it to the waitress, she said they were ninja waitresses. We all had hamburgers, and we all loved our choices. ( I had the peanut butter and it was great). My wife had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and she thought it was the best she ever had. All the employees were friendly and upbeat. Great Place!!

Among the many places to eat in Philadelphia, this restaurant in the Manayunk section is a hidden gem. Great menu with creative burgers. The draft beer menu constantly changes, but always has great choices. Make sure you visit during Philly Beer Week.

Definitely one of the best burgers in the city. I had the classic, a good old fashion burger. The meat was so perfectly seasoned and juicy I was sad when it was over. Onion strings and crinkle fries were delicious too and they had a great beer selection. All of that, coupled with the the most friendly and knowledgeable staff made this an unexpectedly perfect night out.

Lucky's had a wide variety of burgers and beers. I had a burger and it was quite good. Our bartender/server was very friendly.

Lucky's has two levels with a bar on each floor. Onion strings were great. Fries were good - nice & hot. Hot dog, especially the bun, was real good. Hamburger patties were thin but had a great taste. Note: they only cook hamburgers medium to well - no rare permitted. They are similar to Shake Shack in a way. Drinks were good and our server was pleasant & very helpful.

Decided to try this place for a brunch while I was in town for the weekend. Its a cute spot with a nice staff. Had the signature breakfast burger which was really good. And the mimosas where a great price and decent size. Would definitely go back.

My favorite spot in Manayunk, not only the food is great, the staff is very nice. Great atmosphere. I was last for my bus to leave Philly, but I had to stop by for my last bite! :)

We stopped in and had a few beers while walking around the area. They have a good beer and drink selection. Staff was friendly.

We loved this place! Had the Burger of the month and yummy tots. We can not wait to visit the Manayunk area again.

Love this place! I bring all of my out of town guests here for a delish burger, and beer or cocktail. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and they actually care about where they work. From the owner to the security, hands down, best staff ever.

My husband and I each had the juicy Lucy burger. We both thought was dry and slightly over cooked. The cheese fries were just o.k. The onion straws were delicious. The martinis were spot on. My son loves this place. I thought it was just o.k.

We sat upstairs. Friendly staff, quick service. We ordered two burgers, fries, and the junkyard (cheese, chive, and bacon) tater tots. Very tasty. Had to ask for silverware and napkins, but other than that a very good experience! Would go back.

Lucky’s Last Chance was the winner of the Philly Burger Brawl with their bacon cheeseburger topped with peanut butter and dipped in a side of jelly. Sounds really weird, but even my picky husband thought it was interesting. I had the Peace, Love and Veggie Burger, which was pretty good as well (albeit pretty spicy). Venue has a cool vibe and the staff is really great.

I tried to get the correct location to come up but Trip advisor has other ideas. We were in Manayunk, on the main road which is right outside Philadelphia. We are actually looking forward to coming back to this area to try more restaurants. We stopped at Lucky's Last Chance for dinner, my husband, 2 sons and I. It is a great little place. Downstairs bar and tables, upstairs lounge, a table outside. The burgers were amazing. We had one with pulled pork from Deke's, one son had the buffalo wing burger. I can't remember my other sons burger but it was gone in a few minutes. Everyone was very happy with their burgers. Our plan is to go back order different burgers and then split them so we can all try them.

This burger was truly transformational. We had to take my daughter to her new apt so it was late and I was hungry as usual. We drove by Lucky’s and I remember hearing about their burgers. We went inside and sat at a table and our waiter Brian came over with menus and truly welcomed us.Well I decided to order the house specialty the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger which was truly life changing it comes with house made grape jam on the side I was three bites in when Brian said to try the jam which was culinary perfection. My wife and daughter had the blue cheese burger which they said was amazing too.Great food , great service by Brian......Lucky’s we will be back.

If you like those burger places with million dollar fit outs and owned by celebrity chefs, this is not for you. It's an old-fashioned pub with scuffed floors, and great burgers (and fries and tater tots). Burger range is very inventive and tasty, and amongst the best in Philly.

Burgers and tots, how can you go wrong?!?!? Best burgers, try them all! And they have the best tots, get them with toppings. Awesome beer selection

Interesting bar restaurant. They serve a bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and raspberry jam. The burger itself is very good and the jam adds something. I would prefer it without the PB, but some love it that way. They have other foods as well and service is friendly.

I have been frequenting this place for close to 2 years, and I get more addicted each time I go. The problem is that every friend I bring there loves it and starts bringing more friends. Soon, there won't be room for me anymore. Seriously though, the burgers are the best in Philly. My favorite is the PB and bacon burger. When you dip it in the jelly, it just works, and there's nothing better. I've tried almost every other burger on the menu and have enjoyed them all. Add a side of Main Street fries, and your taste buds will thank you. Great selection of beers too, if that's what you're into. Go here, but please leave a seat for me!

I only been here once and tried the peanut butter and bacon burger. It was very interesting if you have not tried it ......DO iT!!

This place is a favorite among locals. The staff is friendly; the burgers and other food is good and there is a nice variety of drinks.

So on our last day in Philly we were looking for a good sandwich and happened upon Luckys Last Chance a quaint burger joint with an amazing beer selection. Besides burgers they sell hot dogs, many types of seasoned French fries and smothered tater tots. Guess what, they have a mac and cheese section too. Burgers were ok but tater tots were to die for. If you like eclectic you will like this place.

servings were large and filling, very delicious meal, will eat here on our next visit :) on main st.

We decided to grab a quick bite to eat and chose Lucky's Last Chance because they had a good rating on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. It was a little crowded, but we were able to get a seat fairly quick and our server was exceptional with explaining the menu and being attentive to our needs even though they were busy. We ordered burgers and loved them! Great taste, not overdone and dry, fresh toppings and the fry's were exceptional. We had a great experience here and I highly recommend it.

Love Manayunk restaurants, bars and neighborhood in general. Lucky's is a great little place for cold specialty beers, burgers, dogs and tator tots! Stay away from the vegetarian burger but have at anything else. Reasonably priced and great staff! I understand its a cool place to dance upstairs later in the evening. Go! You wont be disappointed.

I have been hearing about Lucky's for a while. Finally made it there for Sunday Brunch with a friend. The vibe of the place is retro and cool, I liked the decor and the drafts on tap and the beer selection is pretty good and the staff are knowledgable - great plus. Now the food, the words to describe will not do the Bananas Foster French Toast with Grand Marnier infused with the syrup was shall I say decadent!! We also sampled the Burgers because they are highly recommended. I had the Bacon, Egg Cheeseburger and my friend had the Breakfast Burger - OK - Delicious is an understatement. I will definitely be back to see how the crowd is during Happy Hour and on the weekend evenings. I feel the price range for food and drinks is reasonable. Give Lucky's a Go if you want good food and a great vibe.

Great Burgers and Sides, excellent meat, cooked well. Onion straws and Mac and cheese and tots were perfect. Funky beer selection.

I stopped in here for lunch yesterday with my son and his roommate, who recommended coming here to Lucky's. A very casual, laid-back pub with ice cold beers and excellent "award winning" burgers. Outdoor or indoor seating with two bars on two separate floors. Very affordable and a nice place for lunch or dinner.

The vibe was cool, and so was the beer selection. The menu was interesting and had a lot of potential, but when the food arrived it turned to be almost tasteless. Though the ingredients and the combinations were attractive, they still managed to do an 'ok' burger. You can't go wrong with burgers and fries, so I'd still visit again. The staff was friendly and happy, though.

Love this place in Manayunk. The staff are so friendly and because it's so small they give you their full attention and genuinely care how you are doing. The food is very diner-ish which isn't my cup of tea but if you like fried food this is definitely the place to go. The range of beers is terrific. There are so many different types you'll end up stumbling out the door if you try and taste them all. This place is completely underrated and an absolute undiscovered gem in Philadelphia.Perfect setting for a date or a few casual drinks. The music is never too loud and you can actually hold a conversation there.

The unique combination of tastes in the burgers are the best. Combined with your favorite adult beverage, makes for a great time!
Best burger ever
Getting food at Lucky's Last Chance must've been one of my best bar experiences yet. The food was great and really interesting (PB&J burger, never thought that could work!) and the best burger I've ever had. The service was really good too - staff (and other visitors as well) were really nice! I enjoyed the wide selection of beers Lucky's offers and I really got my money's worth. Definitely recommended!
