Great food. Variety of import and Domestic beers. Mini pitchers of drinks. Ask for Courtney. She is amazing

Had a great time in a relaxed warm environment. Though they had multiple fire pits outside it was much cooler inside on this warm July Saturday afternoon. We started out with an order of their bread and butter fried pickles and Onion rings which were great. Both large enough to share. We enjoyed a new featured drink called The Whiskey Tango Foxtrot ( Rebecca Creek Whiskey, lemon juice, honey mango syrup, coconut cream & pineapple) it was a tropical delight that didn’t involve rum. My Juice Lucy beacon cheese burger with fries was right on point and my wife commented that her tenderloin quesadillas were tender and tasty. All in all we enjoyed our time at Coopers and will be back.

This place never fails to deliver the whole shebang...from the full bar and amazing cocktails to the fresh COLD BEER you won't leave thirsty EVER! Their appetizers are off the wall delicious- the deviled eggs could bring peace to the middle east. Weiner Wednesdays are a must for one of the best hot dogs you'll ever have in your life. And Maw Maw's gumbo can heal your soul(or your hangover.) The strawberry biscuits are a easy sweet to share with friends, but the monkey bites are so good you WILL need a nap to recover(that's a good thing!) When its comes to service, hopefully Carla is your server, she gives the best service without breaking a sweat . And if you're at the bar, Hayden will make sure if you're unsure to steer you in the right direction based on what you like! Whether you're in town for a few days or a San Antonio resident, you owe it to yourself to eat here! Bring your dogs on the patio, and leave them kids at home!

A friend recommended this place so me and the Mrs went, we sat at the bar ( my bar stools rocked from side to side ). It was A SATURDAY NIGHT and thought it would be busier than usual. We were given menus and ask what we wanted to drink right away. Its generally a nice watering hole for an ice house, there is outdoor sitting area but only speaker for sport action, plenty of screens to watch sports inside. They have a nice assortment of beers on tap and some inhouse signature drinks. We tried two and were not impressed. We orderd their signature burger, wings and cup of gumbo, all edible but average. My rating is 3 of 5

We have visited the Lucy Coopers 281 location several times in the past but have not been real thrilled with the service at all. Today friends asked us to meet them at this location and our experience was stellar!! Laura was our waitress and she was awesome!! She was on the ball, friendly, accommodating, all the things! We now know when she works and will definitely will be back! The only negative experience we encountered was in talking with a female manager and giving kudos to her about Laura, the manager was a bit negative and rude. But we will still be back, thank you for your excellent service Laura!!

Ate at NB location not SA, loved everything about it except one thing which took it to 4 stars. Food, service, drinks, ambiance all were wonderful only knock was the yeehaw kimchee cabbage. All 4 of us had 1 bite and not only was it blah, 1 person thought it might be actually bad. Would I go back YES, would I order it again, NO. Wish I remembered to tell server but forgot till today and ate lunch there yesterday

We had wings which were super spicy, seafood boil which was great, and trashcan nachos which were good but a bit dry. Staff was fun and attentive and the atmosphere was awesome!

I visited at Happy Hour with friends, first visit and I really liked it. The food was good, lots of variety - we had the clothes line bacon and their tin can nachos which is presented in a big can and pulled up leaving your nachos in a fun tower to devour. Happy Hour pricing is great, so check it out and they have live music some evenings.

Arrived with a party of 7 for drinks and dinner,I ordered a strawberry basil lemonade drink zero liquor in it. Another person ordered a treaty oak red handed on the rocks it was $14.00 and it wasn't even a full shot pour we showed the waitress and mentioned the price she came back and said they charge $2.00 for the one special ice cube. we cancelled all of our food orders paid the tab and left. Another one bites the dust

I adore Chef Braunda and we always have such a great time when we go out. Fun friendly down home vibe!! Food is always great we love the bacon and fried green tomatos

The bartender was the most uninteresting person ever behind the bar. No great if and every time we needed service we had to all her over. Ordered drinks and she disappeared to talk to her colleagues. It was Sunday night and slow but that does not warrant her careless attitude

There is potential.... the place is cool with adult games and fire pits but the service is terrible and the food is just okay. The bartenders are not friendly either. If you decide to try this place order the FRIES they are AMAZING!!!!

My husband and I were in there today and OMGEEEEE! We want to try one of everything on the menu *minus all eggs though*. Tin Can Nachos were AMAZING and made a great late lunch for us to share and the Clothesline Bacon...WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT? I was dying from the deliciousness. Everyone was so friendly and we can't wait to go back for brunch and try the Cap'n Crunch French Toast! Lucy Cooper's is going to be our date place

Went to Cooper’s on a Friday night, 8:00, and the place was loud and packed, but we found a table right away. This place is not to be mistaken for Cooper’s BBQ. This place is a “Texas-size ice house” with great bar food. For starters, they have a wall long choice of draft beers both domestic and imported, $3 a pint, 16 oz. , or $6 for a small pitcher that holds 2 pints. Domestic bottled beer is $4 Cooper’s has at least 14 TVs and a Texas size TV screen on the back wall. They feature sports and a music channel which plays at probably volume 10. Our wait person was friendly, helpful, and informative. She answered our questions on prices and offered us the Friday special of 1 lb. of boiled shrimp for $10; usually $22. The boiled shrimp was good and had a tasty boil mix but over boiled. The plate came with 2 boiled red potatoes and one corn coblet. She also offered the fried catfish plate. We ordered onion rings, $7. This were the perfect bar food! They were crispy, thin, and hot. They came with a creamy, tasty dip but was not Ranch dressing. The onion rings filled the basket then we had to ask for 2 more sauce dips. Friday’s crowd was the 35-45 age group. This place has plenty of outside sitting and tables. Even though we’re older that the crowd, we felt welcomed and part of the crowd. When driving northbound on US 281 going toward Thousand Oaks, stop by Lucy Cooper’s for a wide range of draft beers and fantastic bar food.

me and my daughter really enjoy the food and drink! the atmosphere is cool and laid back, and the service is great too! and omg the new menu items....yum!

I visited Lucy Coopers with friends and I have to say this is now my favorite place to visit (other than my mama's house) in San Antonio. Upon on arrival I was warmly greeted and informed to find any open seat. Even though they were super busy (Saturday night) a table opened up and my server quickly came to introduce herself. She made sure to communicate to us that the kitchen was slammed (totally understandable the food is to die for). LC's had an awesome playlist going all night. Once it got a little chilly out we moved over to one of the fire pits. The owners were super nice and were working hard alongside their staff. You can tell they put a lot of LOVE into this place. Do yourself a favor and head over for the weekend brunch...You're welcome!!

Work had a function—-food was good, service busy-loud music and nice and cool with misters. We were inside I think it would have been better outside—-difficult to talk——

Waitress was nice but the service was super slow. Food was quite honestly not good and way overpriced for what you get. We had the chicken sandwich, open faced burger melt, and crack fries. None of it was good. Beer was cold so that’s why 2 stars and not 1.

Very friendly and courteous staff courteous for the 1st time visit. A open concept Ice House for Adults over 21yrs old. The Menu was very selective as were the beverages. Outside area with a couple of sitting area with warm fire pits. Enjoyed it overall while watching some Sports on their BIG TV screens.

Great venue. Great vibe. Lots of outdoor seating right along the Guadalupe River. Super cold beer and huge selection of it to choose from. Their food is eclectic and absolutely amazing! We’ve been a few time and we’re never disappointed. We’ve tried the Clothesline Bacon, Fried Green Tomatoes, trio of dips, Fried Pickles, Krack Fries, and New Orleans Chicken Sandwich. ALL were so delicious and different. This is my kind of bar!!!! And NO kids allowed. Must be 21. A sign says, “This is where babies are made, not served.” Lol. Live music to boot and TONS of TVs.
Stopped in
Thought we would try it out, for a couple beers. Liked the outdoor fire pits, heard music, not the highway.
