Filipino gem

By Viernes Rowel |

I'm so glad we made it to Ludi’s, everyday has a long queue in Seattle. This Filipino restaurant truly feels like home, with its warm and cozy ambiance that immediately makes you feel welcome. The service was friendly and attentive , went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. But the real star of the show is the food - oh, the food! We ordered a variety of dishes to share. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and love for Filipino cuisine. Portion sizes are generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends and family. We left feeling full and happy, thank u:)

Hands down the best brunch in town!

By Marchake |

Stepping into Ludi's is like stepping into a warm hug, even on the dreariest of Seattle days. Don't let a little wait deter you – trust me, it's so worth it. We braved a cold, rainy day and were rewarded with some of the most delicious, authentic food I've had in ages. My fried rice with egg and pork belly was a revelation! The rice itself was perfectly nutty and seasoned to perfection, and the pork belly? Crispy, melt-in-your-mouth, and absolutely not greasy. Portions are incredibly generous – I had leftovers for two days, and every bite was just as good as the first. And the sides? Don't even get me started – bursting with flavor! But the real showstopper? Those purple pancakes! I can't remember the exact name, but they were the perfect sweet ending to an already phenomenal brunch. Seriously, you have to order them! Beyond the incredible food, the family that runs Ludi's is just wonderful. They're so kind and welcoming, and their customer service is truly exceptional. A month and a half after my visit, I needed a receipt and they went above and beyond to get it to me quickly. That's the kind of care that makes a restaurant truly special. If you're in Seattle, even for a single day, Ludi's is an absolute must-try. Be prepared to wait, and maybe even get a little wet, but trust me, it's an experience you won't regret!

Go to place, Support a local family

By Thomas T |

This is a must for breakfast as that is what we had. French toast, eggs, potatoes, and turkey sausage. They have a large menu and do have carry out. Yes stand in the line once you order it goes quick and before you know it you have food. This has been a go to place for a while, and almost missed it as there was no post on TA….but I will change that with this post. Support local family and eat here.

Excellent breakfast

My wife & I went to Ludi’s yesterday for breakfast. There was a line out the door but we didn’t have to wait long. The service & food was excellent. The prices were fair also. I would highly recommend eating here.

Go now

Go to Ludi's. Don't bother to read the rest of this review, just go now. What an excellent restaurant, where you can tell that it is right by a family who cares. The staff working at the restaurant are literally the people you see on the pictures on the walls. They are friendly and just lovely people to interact with. I went with the combo Silog for breakfast, and let's just say that I am still full. Unless you're a big eater, it was enough food for two. Ludi's is such a great place to get breakfast that I would absolutely return in the future.

SEATTLE STAPLE

By Munah |

SEATTLE STAPLE!! You must visit Ludi's if you are in town. But get there early as the line starts wrapping early! The food, customer service and ambiance is a stupendous! This cozy restaurant is everything! This was my first time trying Filipino food and was blown away! I started off with the lilikoi mimosa and then I ordered the spam-silog. I also ordered biscuits and listen?!! Out of this world! You need to try this place! I was able to chat with the owner and his daughter (co-owner). Everyone is so kind and welcoming. CHECK THEM OUT!

A Outstanding Breakfast

By Aaron Shelby |

My Dad and I stopped in for breakfast one summer morning and had a pleasant time. The wait was not too long and unbearable. We ordered and paid before being seated. The food was brought to the table quickly after we sat down. We enjoyed a big breakfast Filipino style. It was delicious! The food was hot and the prices were right. The location was across the street from our hotel so we enjoyed the quick stop over. I definitely recommend stopping by Ludi's for any meal when you are in downtown Seattle!

Ludi’s Breakfast spot in Seattle, Washington 🥞🍳🥓☕️🫐

By Maya |

Visiting from Oregon for New years and asked around where to go for breakfast. The concierge at the hotel I’m staying at said Ludi’s is a fantastic spot! I took the concierge’s recommendation and highly recommend Ludi’s for anyone looking for a fun family and local breakfast spot in Seattle! I ordered their #3 special original plate which is a classic breakfast with 4 pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, 1 egg, and some fruit! Service is excellent, fast, and spot on. Especially for how busy they can get!

An amazing g place for all day breakfast, a family-owned restaurant that serves the best French Toast ever! Really friendly and super welcoming host. We sat at the counter and as we ate our amazing food, we just watched the world go by. A must visit if you are in Seattle ❤️

Best breakfast we had in a week in Seattle

We were staying in a hotel nearby and found this restaurant early in our weeks stay. Breakfast was so good we made a point of returning on our last day. The staff were friendly. The service was excellent. Extensive menu. Good size portions. Clean restroom.

Best service and great food

By simpleohio |

I’m here visiting Seattle and I was just out walking trying to find something for breakfast and I walked by this food and I’ve never experienced any type of Filipino food before. You walk in and you pay at the register before you sit I thought I would take a chance and just ask if I want a traditional Filipino breakfast what should I get and then I took her suggestions regarding my food and what to drink. it was amazing I can’t say enough about how great the staff was and how great the food was even the owner stopped by my table and I said I told him it was a great meal and I was visiting. He engaged me in conversation about the food. It’s a family owned business. I highly recommend a stop here. I lucked out on Friday and Saturdays. They do these pancakes only in the morning and it might be the best pancake I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend

Ludi's is worth the wait.

Went to Ludi's for breakfast and it was so delicious. We were told to get there before it opens at 7am as there are lines. Wait was not very long. Service was great and the food was very delicious. Meet the owner, and what a lovely person, with a very interesting history. A must go to if you are in Seattle.

Fabulous breakfast.

By HollyJane |

What a find. Fabulous place for breakfast. Great mixed choice, with a Filipino-American twist. A really good choice of breakfast options, very varied options too. Fantastic omelettes, and bottomless cups of coffee. You may have to queue. You stand at till area and make your menu choice and pay, then take your number and sit at a table and wait for you breakfast , which isn’t too long. You get your water, and your coffee cup refilled whenever you want more.

Favorite Pinoy breakfast

Feels like the comfort of home. Everything we ordered was delicious! The garlic rice, Ilocos longganisa, lechon kawali and all paired with black coffee. Really a place of love and comfort. The owner was so kind to hand us freshly made bibingka to try. Ate here twice in a row within a month period, travelled all the way from Oregon coast. There’s always a line during weekends. We would be back for sure to try their Ube pancakes which is unfortunately only served on weekends. Happy eating.

Decided to try this spot while walking from our hotel to the market. So glad we did - the food was excellent! Not only was the food great, the owners and family were so personable and nice. Love enjoying a meal and supporting small business owners! Highly recommend!

Delicious Filipino diner

By Renee Y |

You have to wait in line, but the service is quick. I wanted to try the famous ube pancakes, but couldn't order two meals, and knew I'd be happy with the other one. I had lumpia, rice, and eggs. It was delicious and filling.

We miss Filipino food and decided to visit the restaurant in Seattle. The food was great, and we actually talked to the owner of the restaurant.

Wonderful local family restaurant with heart and soul.

Wonderful family restaurant downtown and reasonably priced. This is a rare find in downtown Seattle. The owner, Greg, and his family are warm and welcoming. The food is always good and I love to support a business like this. This is a real treasure in a city that continually is changing. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.
