Surprised at the portions & quality for the price. Philadelphia 's pizza has a lot more cheese than back in Ohio. Didn't notice till too late that they also had subs. Might have to come back & try one later.

Super-fresh ingredients and done to perfection make for an excellent pizza pie. I especially enjoyed a fresh veggie pizza, with wonderful sauce. And I think their prices are reasonable for what you get.

Food is very good, pick up is best way to guarantee that you get food in reasonable time. Always have them repeat your order to ensure it is correct.

Ordered to go food from here for family. Pizza's were large, with large slices. The sauce wasn't too sweet. Also had a side salad and calzone with pepperoni and peppers. The calzone was huge and delicious. I enjoyed eating leftover pizza the next day. Staff was friendly at pick up.

Are you a vegetarian? Luigi's offers at least 12 kinds of freshly made vegetarian pizza by the slice. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted. Everything looked so fresh. I wound up getting pesto and the caprese. Both were excellent. Also, each slice was between 1/4 and 1/5 of a pizza pie.

Everything I've had here has been delicious. Firstly, they make an excellent cheesesteak. That alone is enough for 5 stars, but they also have delicious pizza too. The Margherita is my personal favorite. If you want dessert after you stuff yourself with pizza, a cheesesteak, or both, I recommend trying one of their cannolis. They are some of the best cannolis I've ever had. They always tell me to let them know when I'm done with my meal so they can make them fresh. Long story short, I love this place.

Excellent pizza, the best crust, not greasy. Also their chicken cheese steak is also one of the best I've had in the city. We always get takeout, but there is limited seating. It's seems noisy during peak times when people are waiting to pickup orders. Not a place for a date or relaxing meal, but highly recommend for takeout. If you don't feel like cooking dinner, check out the pasta, that's good too. Large portions - the pasts entrees are enough for two people.

We had a pretty big order from fettuccine to panini. The Cheese Steak with Bacon Sandwich was meh. The Chicken Cheese Steak Hoagie was meh. The fries were tasteless. The fettuccine was ok, but no real Italian dish. And the Chicken Parmigiana Panini was horrible. It wasn’t a true panini. The chicken and mozzarella cheese were hard. I didn’t even finish it. Will never go again.

We were waiting for our tour for Independence Hall, so we walked a few blocks away to find a good place to eat. We wanted something quick, so we decided on pizza. We found Luigi's. The smell coming from the open doors was amazing. You could buy huge pizza slices or a whole pizza. Several choices of pizza were available. Reasonable prices. We had the pepperoni slice, sausage and bbq chicken. The crust was very good along with the toppings. Excellent stop for a quick bite.

How many types of pizza does it take to satisfy you? So many choices & delicious. Reasonable prices?

Pizza was delicious and the cheese-steaks even better. I ate the Sicilian pizza and it was like the real Italian one (as I am Italian,I tasted authentic italian flavors) with fresh Mozzarella cheese and basil. I tried a plain cheese-steack sandwich to taste the meat and it was very good too. The best pizza I ate in the city, close to the museums and attractions downtown. Not too expensive, a nice place to eat!

Luigis pizza offers so many pizzas by the slice ! There aren't many vegetarian choices, but the ones they do offer were superb! Super fresh and tasty, the best by the slice I've had to date. Service is quick, and it needs to be as it's very busy at lunch time. However the staff could've been friendlier and they could serve you with a smile!! There is free wifi available.

It's a multi-year winner on Google and other online reviews. They have plaques on display. There are endless customers especially locals. They offer a wide range of pizza flavors, freshly made, delicious and reasonably priced. Discovered this hidden gem after looking for a place to eat near the Art Museum. They are always busy, so harder to keep up with wiping tables and maintaining well at all time. It's half self-serviced type. When you come to a place like this, order their pizza, they sell in slices or in wholes, before other types of entrees or dishes. Pizza is their specialty. This is not a place where you sit down and eat for a long time. It's more like a quick eat place with tables and chairs. As soon as you finish, you don't stay around, you leave for others to come in. It's within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the west entrance of the Art Museum.

Loved the great pizza taste with a thin crust that was cooked to resemble a cracker. NY style slices and a variety of choices. Prices were right on point as well. Definitely a good option.

We were visiting Philly for the day and stopped here for lunch. I like to try eggplant Parmesan subs everywhere I go that serves them. So, that’s what I ordered here and it was the best eggplant parm sub I’ve ever had! The eggplant was cooked perfectly. My husband has the sausage and pepper sub and said it was good. The kids loved their pizza slices. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I frequent Luigi's (Marlton Location) almost once a week.. Their pizza is THAT good! The cheese pizza is our favorite but the white pizza is fantastic as well. I can't rate their sandwiches since we always get pizza. My only complaint is when they say 20 minutes, its usually more like 40. Worth the wait though!

By the slice choices with add-ons cover all pizza cravings. Whole pies to order. Crispy crust & deep dish. Amazingly inexpensive. No beer.

We called here after a visit to the East State Penitentiary. We opted for pizza by the slice. Go to the counter choose your pizza (which isn't labelled - so we had to keep asking "wassat") and pay. Grab a table. They heat your food up and call you when it's ready. It was very busy when we were there but the tables quickly become free. Food was OK

I went there with the suggestion of some friends. My wife and I wanted to treat our friends to a meal because we were visiting them for the day. We had an awesome time eating, laughing, and watching the Olympics. We were at the Marlton restaurant in NJ. The staff was accomodating and I asked them to pick two pizzas for us. He chose an all meat pizza and an all vegetable pizza. The ladies had salads with shrimp on top. Truly amazing food and service. I left telling them I would be back. The next time I am in Marlton, I will be going to Luigi's Pizza Fresca!

We came here after getting a recommendation from a local women she was right it was great. a nice little restaurant easy to get to has great philly cheese steaks and delicious pizza by the slice. Not as busy as the famous steak shops on the other side of philly but the cheese steaks were great. has a couple of small tables to eat at and a friendly staff . would recommend and the price was great .

This is actually for the CHESTNUT location, but could not find an entry for it on Trip Advisor. We ate here Friday night, on Veteran's Day. The food was excellent and the prices quite reasonable. I had the Veal Parmigiana Dinner and my wife had a steak sandwich. The veal was very tasty, right amount of sauce and cheese and the penne pasta was also delicious with very generous portion sizes. I had a cannoli for desert which was scrumptous and quite large. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just stopped on our way to the eastern state penitentiary. We both had a pizza mozzarella and it was delicious!

We order from Luigi's several times a month. We just order their pizza because it is the best we have found in the area. Thin crust, fresh and interesting toppings. Their specialty pizzas are very good as well. Their restaurant is nothing to write home about, so we usually order in. Their staff is always friendly.

We asked Awfully Nice Tours for quick lunch place close to Eastern States Penitentiary and they suggested Luigi's. We had very little time and this worked perfectly. Being tourists, we thought the $8.95 cheese steak lunch special (included fries and drink) was a great deal and were pleasantly surprised that it was equally tasty. There are a few outdoor tables and the inside is small but totally adequate (and nicely air conditioned!). We'll be back!

We stopped in here for a convenient meal an a visit to the art museum. Great choice. Between us, we tried the cheesesteak, a couple pasta dishes, a salad and a panini. Everyone loved their meal. The portions were big. We sat outside and had a lovely meal.

We stopped in here with friends and had pizza and sandwiches. The food was good and the service was even better.

Delicious vegetables and pizza near the museum, with cans of Fresca (my favorite). Loved our quick visit. They even had samples to taste the variety of pizzas.

We went to visit the Rocky statue and stairs by the Museum of Art. Once we ran up the stairs 3-4 times we were ready for lunch. This was our first visit to Philly as a family and I wanted to get my son a really good Philly cheese steak. We asked the cab on the way and he said go to Luigi's Pizza. I had reviewed all the popular places to get a Philly's cheese steak and this wasn't on the list. I saw Geno's, Pats. Jims, Delassandros etc. When we walked in, we asked a local eating pizza, if this place was known for their Philly's cheese steak. He said No but its the best place in town. All those other places are good but very commercialized. I promise you will not be disappointed. These cheese steaks are amazing and each one is made to order with everything you can imagine. Forget "Wiz or without". Go to Luigi's and get yourself a Philly Cheese steak that you will really enjoy and say "WOW". Their pizza and pasta are also excellent !!

I have been there, having a wonderful pizza. The staff is very special and takes care of its customers. The restaurant is lovely.

I go here all the time for a quick bite to eat at a good price. It's close to the Museum and a drink and slice doesn't run you over $5.

We happened upon Luigi's after exhausting ourselves at the Eastern State Penitentiary. It was 3 in the afternoon, and, being from Chicago, we weren't expecting much. Boy were we surprised. There was a large selection of pizzas to choose from and the slices were huge. After a quick visit to the oven, all five of us got a different type of pizza and none of us was disappointed. There is limited seating, as this is a corner neighborhood joint. Try one of each and you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here after we were done touring the nearby art museum. There were tons of different pizzas to choose from and we each got two different slices. The pizza was good, it wasn't the best I've ever had but definitely good.

Authentic italian place, great food and reasonable prices! Very, very nice place! would recommend it!

We were visiting the Eastern State Penitentiary and walked down to the Rocky statue so just stopped in and grabbed a slice. I had the white pizza with spinach and it was really good. It was a nice day so we sat outside and finished it. Good stuff!

Pizza was delicious. My daughter ordered buffalo chicken and was happy with her meal. Seems like a little local pizzeria.

We were there in mid February during a cold spell, stopped in twice. They have a specialty Pesto pizza that was very good, hence we came back again.

Great stop for a family with kids and 20-somethings. A dozen or so veg and another dozen meat choices. Fed 5, two slices each, drinks for less than $30. Helpful staff. Hot sandwiches and pasta, too, seemed to be doing a brisk local take-out business. Room to eat inside. Futbol on two TVs added to our enjoyment - saw Messi and Suarez score while feasting.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while visiting the city. Had sandwiches and fries. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Seating is available but not abundant. Staff was friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

We had lunch with family in this pizzeria, the pizzas are giant and very good! I advise taking 1 pizza for two.

OUr last two take out orders of pizzas and a salad were ok. We are going to try other pizza places in the future

I liked their heroes. It was a quiet nice neighborhood and was close to Fairmont Park. It would be nice to grabbed food here and eat at the park. The price was alright.

Tasty Neapolitan pizza, fast friendly service. Homemade bolognese sauce on penne. Yummy! Outside seating made for a pleasant evening of people watching.

We had a goal of eating only local foods while visiting Philadelphia, and they fit the bill perfectly! Between the two of us, we tried four different flavors of pizza, and they were all delicious. Fun neighborhood to walk, great food and great prices...what more could you ask for?

We had never been to Luigi's or even heard of it. After our tour of the Eastern State Penitentiary we walked by Luigi's on our way to the Rocky Statue. The pizza was amazing! Service was great and prices were cheap. Philadelphia's pizza is definitely underrated!

We stopped by after our visit to the penitentiary. I had the chick parm and it was delicious. Surprisingly they did not have calamari on menu the but this would not stop us from going back

Good New York style pizza. Crowded but seating found. Inexpensive. No frills. Was recommended to us by a local. I liked the ricotta and tomato with pesto slice. My husband said that the pepperoni pizza was so so. Family friendly we noted.

The pizza here is NOT good. They keep the pizza out all day, and then "warm" it up in the oven. Doing this makes the pizza very dry and hard. You may be able to order a "fresh" pizza, but for convenience of getting in and out, they have dry hard pizza for you. The pizza they have out for "by the slice" is very flat, no sauce and dry. The day we went was pretty busy and unorganized. The cashiers/pizza handlers were ditzy and very unorganized. Would not come here again, there are far too many good places in Philly for pizza to waste my time here again!!

Had to take another slice of pizza although being full. The service was amazing, really cool guys working there.

The absolute best wrap I've ever had & my husband really enjoyed his Philly cheese steak sub. Staff was nice and friendly. Store was pretty clean and had a few tables/chairs to sit outside. Highly recommend.

We always like to find that one great, authentic Italian eatery wherever we are traveling too. Luigi's is that stop for us in Philadelphia! Pizza, sandwiches, you name it... this gem is well worth the stop. It's very close to Eastern State, the Museum of Art and Rocky steps. Prices were extremely reasonable and they even have great outdoor seating for the warm months.

Cute little place. Stopped by on our little walk of sight-seeing to try a real philly cheesesteak . It was hot an delicious and not greasy like they try to make where we live. People there were nice. Lots of pizza and other items too.

Was exactly what I was looking for...a quick slice of delicious pizza. It was crowded, but the lined moved quickly. Pizza was served hot with a crispy crust. It was about $15.00 for 3 slices and 2 bottles of soda. We ate upstairs. Place was clean and full of families. Bathrooms were also clean, which is a plus in my book. We really enjoyed our lunch and was in and out quickly so we could get back to enjoying sight-seeing in the city. I will definitely go back to this place again.

Had lunch at the Chestnut St. location. They had a great Philly cheesesteak deal with drink and fries for about $10. Everything was really good and I'm glad it was my first real Philly cheesesteak. This location is close to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall which is very convenient.

Stopped by here for lunch and tried their cheese steak sandwich. This was the best cheese steak i've ever had; perfect balance of steak vs cheese on a soft hoagie.

We just left Luigi's and it was delicious! I love pizza and would recommend it to everyone! The service was friendly and the environment was casual. We would definitely go back.

For the price I will say two people can eat off of one Philly steak sandwich . The vendors on the street are way expensive . The pizza looks like it has been sitting but my main reason was to give my girlfriend her first cheese steak experience . There are many ways now how people make it in Philly but I can't remember when I was a kid how it truly was but the main thing is my girlfriend loved it .

My wife and I stopped there after a couple of hours at the Museum of Art, I had a fresh mozzarella pizza and she had a white veggie pizza. They were OK. They didn't warm them up very much and my pizza was very bland.

I love places where you can eat cheap, tasteful and abundantly: this is one of them and that is why I highly recommend it.

Fast service, generous servings of salads and pizzas. Toppings were sparse and flavors were in the background.I've had pizza all over the US and have come to expect a stand-out product. This wasn't it.

We dropped by here for lunch after visiting Rocky statue and water works on the way to Eastern State Penitentiary. The pizza selections are great -- I especially enjoyed the arugula one with prosciutto. This seems to be a neighborhood pizza place in the Fairmount part of Philadelphia. Cost for value is good, and quick service as pizza slices are heated up as in NY.

Tried the lasagna pizza. Ham, pepperoni and ricotta. Recommended for sure. Wanted breadsticks and since they don't have that the server gave me a delicious triangle of baked dough with marinara at no charge. Was looking for lunch near the art museum and I'm so glad I wandered in!

We frequently go to Luigi's in Fairmount and get take out pizza, especially when we need pizza for a large group. Their "Blue Box" pizza is huge and people always ask where we got it from because it is soooo delicious. We lived in Italy before so it is hard for us to eat pizza here anymore - it never tastes quite the same, but these guys are legit. Wonderful pizza. Grazie!

Love the trip advisor app for helping me find gems like luigis! Pizza by the slice is perfect for my family with varying tastes. They even had a cheese free option, and added pepperoni by request! I ordered their "healthy " platter, tons of grilled veggies and a huge portion of chicken and fresh marinara. Lots of carry out traffic shows the locals love this place too.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, and I’m happy we did. The food was really good and there was a nice selection. The staff was friendly and they all ate lunch together- which I thought was really nice. The portions were huge!

We all like different pizza so it was great to be able to go here and everyone choose their own slice... without breaking the bank! It came to around $12 for 4 slices of pizza, I think, so I was happy. It's clean and friendly. I'd definitely come here again. Plenty of vegetarian choices of pizza slice too, as well as the usual meat choices.

Manager very kind and quality of pizza, (for us daisy made at the time) really TOP!! Provare per credere....

Tried the Calzone and the Philly Cheesesteak had great taste and very affordable. Also had the Vege Pizza, it lacked in Flavor had to add a bunch of Parmesan cheese.

Tried this place after visiting some of the sites in Philly. I had a cheesesteak and it was one of the best I had in Philly! My family had a Meatball pizza and the meatballs were fresh, homemade and delicious. Price was very reasonable and overall a tasty experience.

I've been here numerous times. I love the service most of all here. The sandwiches are very good, but the pizza is just decent. It is great to have the artisan style/flavors, but it could be a little better. Of all the pizza places in the neighborhood (Pete's, Fairmount, Luigis, and Angelino's,), I'd say go to Angelino's for pizza, though there you go for a pie. It's nice Luigi's lets you get it by the slice!

We stopped in quickly to get a bite for lunch & was quite impressed with the many choices of pizza by the slice! So many to choose from! Reasonably priced as well! We will definitely return!
Excellent service for a large group
This pizza place is located near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, an easy 8-10 minute walk. I took a group of 35 students/adults there and had plenty of room for us to sit...they had some tables set up outside. The pizza was great with lots of different choices...I had 3 Pople who had the GLUTEN FREE PIZZA and loved it! They were fast and friendly! Great place!
