New Places Can Be Great

By Ken G |

Had lunch having roasted hen with pita, rice,Caesar salad. Everything was fabulous. Service was first rate, and employees treat you with care and respect. Am now a huge fan.

Consistently Overall Just Really Great Food

By Warrior44 |

The food is consistently just so good. They cook up the foos perfectly and the soup is absolutely delicious. Service is good at this location. Great for lunch and dinner. Good for groups as well.

Just okay

By PuterC0nsultant |

A few weeks before they catered a lunch meeting at the company I work at. I remembered it tasted good so I thought I would stop by for dinner. I had the beef kabob plate. This time however it was tender but not flavorful. I also had added a side of gyro meat which also was not very flavorful. Maybe I went in an off night but it was very unimpressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fresh Mediterranean dishes

By cheaptravelhunter |

If I wasn't a huge fan of Mediterranean food, I am now! Order at counter and have a seat. Delicious and super fresh ingredients in every dish!

Jalapeno and cilantro hummus! yum!

By Uncomn |

Happened upon this place after an Ikea run. Had the lamb wrap and spicy hummus. Great fries. Warm pita. Lamb wrap could have had more lamb, but was still tasty - a bit pricey for $10 bucks, though. Service was friendly.

Healthy food, good prices

By Daves111 |

We stopped for a light dinner and were surprised by the healthy options that were available - even healthy teas. Loved their soup.

Suprislingly good

By Hilaire2009 |

Does not look great, in fact looks cheap but the food was a pleasant surprise for the kids. Very reasonable prices.

To go

By MominOC |

Order was prepared quickly and packed accurately. Ate outside on the patio due to dining room closure. Food was very good.

Health Kabobs--great spot for lunch

By AZBell |

First time at a Kabob place like this. I'd describe it like Pie Wei (order food, sit down and have it brought to you as opposed to full service). Really well prepared food---meat and chicken were not over cooked, were well spiced, salad and rice that came with lunch entree were also excellent. Good enough food that I am going to look for one of these back near my home.

Good Service and that's all

By Ron R |

Oh My Gosh Where to start? I had doubts about this place, but was in a rush. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful and welcoming. To go orders are the death knell for any decent food, so my expectations were low. I could tell as my order hit the window, the line cook did not follow the simple request for salad in a separate container. You see, if you place a cold, crisp green salad in the same container as hot food, it turns to a steamed green, lettuce mush in short order. The young lady scolded the line cook and it was fixed. Now for the food. We ordered chicken/ sirloin combo with carrots and a lamb kabob with grilled tomato. The rice was fine. The " garnish" was a quarter of grilled tomato or a carrots. The carrots were thin shavings of hard, tasteless vegetable. Now for the ugly part. The only "real" meat were the chunks of chicken. They were almost dry, and pretty flavorless. Both the lamb and the sirloin were factory extruded strips of "mystery meat" You can look at the pictures and see that real meat does not exist like that. .You think McDonalds "McRib" is a real pork rib, just without the bone? If you go into a real kabob shop, you see real chunks of actual meat on skewers, not here. When I asked if they had hot sauce, I was offered Siracha, a Vietnamese chili concoction, or Tapatio Dudes, those aren't harrisa or anything mid eastern. So much for the Mid East part The pita bread was straight out of the bag and nuked. Not put on the grill, just a doughy semi cooked WonderBread. All for $30. Should have gone around the corner to Tender Greens where they serve real meat. My Bad Service 4* Ambiance 3* Price 3* Food 1*

The food and service is the next level!

By Sebastian C |

The salmon and gyro are amazing. The manager named Hector really helped us walk through the menu and Dulce made us feel very welcome and happy. So thank you luna grill.

Great place great food

By Ericka R |

It is always clean, and the service is excellent. The employees have always been friendly and very helpful when I have tried to decide what to order.

Delicious!

By Jill L |

We had such a great dinner. It was less expensive for five people than we usually spend on two of us. Not a large wine list but what they had was great. The chicken kabob plate and trio dip was so tasty. So was the soup. We will definitely be back!

Healthier Fast Food Choices

By Richard D |

This is a chain restaurant offering Middle Eastern Cuisine. I have visited several and they all have been worthy of visiting again. As a vegetarian I am pleased with he many choices. The lentil soup is savory and the salads excellent. All the knobs are excellent. I have also sampled the stuffed grape leaves and falafel. Friends like the roasted Cornish hen and knobs. It's a little pricey given the casual atmosphere.

Good food in a "fast food" atmosphere.

By dnkpowell |

Great food, fast service. Loved the tzatziki! The kabobs had great flavor. Not like the food in Greece but pretty close.

Great kebabs!

By Jenny D |

I got the hummus and pita to start and also the combination chicken and beef kebabs. They come with rice, and pitas. Really good!

Good food reasonable prices

By Angelica S |

Flat cut chicken is delicious, moist, and cooked well. Portions are big with sides of basmati rice and broiled tomato. I recommend looking at their menu...they also have hamburgers and soup. I normally go to the Luna Grill in Eastlake...food is very good and prices are reasonable.

Like the Luna

By CurrentMrsGreen |

Enjoy the great food and friendly service at this Luna. The outdoor seating is a great dining extra.

Yummy Kabob!

By KhatM |

Try their ground beef and lamb kabob is the best!this place is the fast food to have yummy and fresh kabob in San Diego!

Humane, but could cook the food better

By Tumblinsun |

Everything sounds good, and the chain has many offerings that are healthy and humane. But we have never had a meal where the meat - especially chicken - wasn't overcooked, and the vegetarian offerings are very bland. Maybe our branch, in Scripps Ranch, doesn't live up to some of the others, but we've stopped going there even though the menu looks like what we'd like.

The delicious fries!

By ryan s |

I love their fries and the chicken was well done and delicious. Their drinks are fresh and fantastic!

Great inexpensive lunch or dinner at Liberty Station

By Senior2004 |

Dropped by Navy Federal and Trader Joe's at Liberty Station and decided to give Luna Grill a try. Am I glad I did! The Cornish Game Hen I enjoyed was phenomenal. Not sure if it had saffron or what on it, but sure was tasty. The decor is about half a notch above a regular fast food outlet, but the food and service more than made up for it. An awesome place for lunch or a quick dinner while in the area. The kabobs looked good too.

Worth the walk

By Emarsh69 |

Overall the food is very good. I tried the lamb kebabs and they had a lot of good flavor. I think it was pretty good for fast Mediterranean food.

Very noisy, slippery tables, decent food

By travellamonde2 |

This is a place where you order at the counter and it is delivered to your table. Expensive fast food. An entree is about $13.50. The wait staff is all very nice. The tables have this very slippery surface so you have to be careful you do not slide your plate right off the table and you can kill yourself on the floor , it is also slippery. It looks like faux wood. The food is pretty good. Unfortunately, the next day, my husband and I both had digestive woes and have to attribute it to the food. The atmosphere , however, leaves a great deal to be desired. Incredibly loud rap music and equally loud rock I have never heard before jars your sensibilities. You can't even talk to your companion across the table, horrible. We won't be back .

Not too bad

By FourCourseMan |

Having been to the Middle East and loving the food there this wasn’t too bad in comparison. (Although I stray away from salads in the Middle East due to concerns for health. ) the Luna Grill has some quality food, the Beet Salad was very good, the hummus was below average.. it just didn’t have enough flavor and the bread was below what I would find in a lower quality middle eastern restaurant. Luna, fix your bread! I came off Keto to try it.. and now I regret it. The service was very good, no complaints there. I would go back to try one of their kabobs.

Dog friendly

By BernDude |

Great food friendly staff We sat outdoors on the patio with our pooch Had a good time We had planned on solare as we had been there before Lots of dog friendly places in the area I recommend trying this place But eat outside Inside seemed really noisy

Unhygienic

By Mikxe |

It's bad enough when servers hand you your beverage by the rim of the glass (something I see more often these days), but when the young woman behind the counter hands you your plastic drink cup with her thumb on the rim and her four fingers running down the *inside* of the cup, that deserves special mention. Many parents apparently no longer teach their kids basic public hygiene. So when these coddled and clueless unfortunates wind up in the hospitality industry, it's management's responsibility to teach them the once-common courtesies. Before Luna Grill instructs its staff how to up-sell me to a Greek salad or pitch me on their loyalty rewards program (extra steps that only make them forget my original order), it should instruct its servers to keep their flipping filthy fingers off the mouth and inside of my drink cup. The cashier in question handled money, the computer order screen and the business phone before passing me my cup by the rim and its inside. If she thinks that's a perfectly reasonable thing to do in front of you, imagine how the kitchen staff handles your food while they are out of your sight.

Delicious food - kids in particular loved it

By haz |

Grilled lean meats, salads, well cooked basmati rice and excellent service. Highly recommend for a family eat with free parking nearby.

Luna Grill Point Loma

By Steve Concialdi |

Great food and very friendly service. The manager, Junior, was very kind to us. They had good music playing in the background and the food was very tasty. I recommend Luna Grill. Steve Concialdi

Excellent Taste

By BTPI |

The steak kabobs and salad are a wonderful dinner. This is a simple environment with really good food. Great place for family dinners. It is not fancy, but still wonderful food.

They Cater

By cwvw79 |

I was in town for business and needed to provide lunch for 13, so I called in a catering order. They were friendly and efficient and everything showed up on time. Everyone loved the lunch! We had a selection of wraps and 2 side salads, all were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Love this place!!

By 3Equinox |

If only this chain restaurant had an outlet here in Tucson. All fresh ingredients. Chicken kebob was amazing. Do not miss this place if you are in San Diego Liberty Station.

High quality for a very reasonable price

Delicious food, a great selection, fast service and always smiling staff. Sitting outside is very pleasant and adds to the very nice experience. One of our favorite restaurants in Liberty Station.

Awesome Rice - Great Kabobs!

By B S |

Luna Girl has the best rice I have ever had! My first meal was so good that we ate there twice in a five day period. The lamb kabob plate is outstanding and the chicken is just as good. It will be very hard to choose which meal to have the next time I go there. All of the staff are friendly and the service was excellent.

Fun, tasty and decently priced.

By Karen S |

Fun, nice casual atmosphere. Tasty mediterranean wraps, plates and salads. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Good flavors

By desertman64168 |

I found Luna Grill after heading over to IKEA to get some things for the house. I'd been thinking about Indian food for lunch, and I was pleased to find this kebob place in the IKEA/Home Depot shopping center. It's not particularly inexpensive, but my lamb kebob was very flavorful, a really nice surprise. My plate came with basmati rice which was kind of dry, but it had a nice mixed greens salad that accompanied the lamb and rice.

Great Kabob

By kjmac85 |

We love the food, but the prices are a bit high. I would try to get a coupon in the paper or in a mailer.

Good Chain

By BWH999 |

Inexpensive healthy food. Not quite a cafeteria, but you order and go through a line. This is my kind of fast food.

best chicken kabob

By DSCS |

This restaurant is a chain now in San Diego. Their chicken kabob is delicious. Salads are very good too. One thing my family has noticed lately, the portions are smaller than they used to be, but still good.

Easy Kabobs

By eliana23 |

After a long beach day, my family was thrilled to try Luna Grill and have such a positive experience. With two young kids, the restaurant was friendly and had a variety of options for the little ones. Bright and clean, extensive menu, and great smells greeted us as we walked through the door. I had a gyro plate and ended up taking at least half home; for $9 I couldn't believe how much food I got. The rice is fluffy and amazing, the meat was plentiful and tasty, and of course the pita bread was perfect. My husband had a lamb kabob and was very happy. We also did a hummus app, and my kids split a chicken kebab plate. The food was tasty, service was friendly, and I'll definitely be back.

Great food!

By Laura C |

Enjoyed a lovely, tasty lunch here. Sat outside and it was just a little cool so they were very accommodating and turn on the gas heater for us. Food was fresh and delicious. Quantities were large, too. Gyros and chicken wraps were outstanding!
