Went to try the Miami spice menu. Love it. Great food backed with great service. The cacio and Pepe and the steak were great. Will be back to try some more.

MAMO Miami - EXCELLENT Italian restaurant on Brickell Avenue

By byMT305 |

Originally from NYC, and open on Brickell Avenue in Miami (for close to 1 year), MAMO serves a delicious menu of Italian food. Service and ambience is great (& very convenient and reasonable valet parking is available). We enjoyed: Great cocktails (Manhattan; Boulevardier) Margarita pizza - yum! Fried artichoke hearts - delicious Dover sole (adequate for 2 people) - excellent with sides of: charred broccoli, roasted potatoes, and eggplant Gelato (soft serve) w/ strawberries - MUST TRY! All-in-all, a wonderful dinning experience. We can’t wait to return to MAMO Miami !!

Finally!

Quoting a friend of mine “Finally! if I close my eyes I feel like I'm in an Italian restaurant." Perfect service, cuisine and environment! If you're passing through Brickell, stop by for an excellent dinner

Private Dining for business

By lisalou216 |

Had a wonderful private dining experience for 20 people. The room is fully private, and the quantity of food you get with your menu selection is amazing. We loved the pasta, the steak, and the appetizers. Absolutely amazing Staff who is attentive and responsive at every return. Beautiful Upscale restaurant.

Very Loudly Music

Very loudly music inside. You don't understand each other when you inside. Food is average. There are much better and more friendly restaurants in Miami

Loved it

Loved this restaurant. Elegant design and very good food. Pizza and pasta both high quality and the waiters are all so friendly and professional. Can recommend this place.

Very very good Italian

By Luis A |

Heard from a friend. We tried it and ended up going there twice in a week. -Ambiance: elegant but simple. Italian themed. -Staff: very courteous. -Prices: not cheap BUT, the portions size and ingredients make up for it. -Burrata: very good -Fried artichoke cacio e pepe: very good -Angel hair pasta with shrimp and pistachios: like my mom's. With PLENTY of shrimp -Cacio e pepe pasta: my GF loved it -Truffled ravioli: worth the price as this is not ravioli with truffles but truffles with ravioli. -Tiramisu: outstanding. Will be back

Outstanding!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience at this upscale Italian restaurant. Beautiful decor, impeccable service, lovely ambiance - and the FOOD - delicious (standouts: Beef Tartar, the Pastas - Bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, Cappelini with Shrimp- Veal Milanese, Tirimasu). Our first time here - but surely not our last! Inspired now to try the one in NY.

A pleasant surprise! A great new brickell restaurant.

We had. An excellent outside table. Inside was full and very noisy. Great service for 10 people from Ramon and his team. The largest veal milanese ever - shared and still too much Everyone left happy. Wines too expensive but final check reasonable. We will be back.

Mediocre Restaurant

I recently visited MAMO Miami in Brickell, and while the restaurant has a cute ambiance, it’s seriously overpriced for what you get. One of the biggest issues was the lack of transparency—we were hit with a $27 charge for still water, which wasn’t disclosed upfront. It would’ve been nice to know before it showed up on the bill. The Miami Spice menu was underwhelming and lacked flexibility. I ordered the antipasta with Burrata, and they tacked on an extra $15 for something that wasn’t even good. None of my friends enjoyed their food either; we were all pretty disappointed. Desserts were just as lackluster—one option was ice cream with warmed-up strawberries, which I could easily make at home. Although the servers were attentive and respectable, that’s about the only positive. Compared to Nobu or Komodo, MAMO doesn’t justify the steep prices for what you’re getting. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all, and I’m even considering disputing the charge with my bank. Save your time and money, and go somewhere else!

Great food, great service, and beautiful restaraunt!! Some of the best Gnocchi I've ever had. The music was a bit too loud.

MAMO Miami - Outstanding Italian restaurant on Brickell Avenue

By byMT305 |

Open for several months (and based on NYC SoHo Mamo restaurant), MAMO Miami is an excellent addition to the Brickell Avenue (Miami’s business district) dining scene. Food (Italian), ambiance, hospitality, and even adjacent valet parking (approx $8-10 for dinner) are all excellent! On a recent Saturday night we enjoyed: Great cocktails (house Margarita, & Boulevardier) Delicious appetizers (fried artichoke hearts with parmesan; and yummy eggplant parmigiana) Halibut with puttanesca entree - delicious! French fries side dish - served hot & crispy Tagliatelle special - spicy vodka tomato sauce with Italian sausage and burrata - yum! Affogato - MUST TRY DESSERT - soft vanilla house-made ice cream w/ fresh saucy strawberries - YUM!! If you haven’t been, you owe yourself the treat! MAMO Miami is an outstanding Italian restaurant! We can’t wait to return.

One of Miami's top Italians if not the best

MAMO Restaurant Miami - OUTSTANDING Italian Restaurant on Brickell Avenue

By byMT305 |

MAMO (imported from SoHo NYC) is an excellent must try Italian restaurant on Brickell Avenue. We (very much!!) enjoyed a recent Sunday dinner in which we sampled their (Sunday -thru- Tuesday) Price-Fixe “MAMO Dinner Experience” ($60) - - this was an OUTSTANDING tasting menu (with smaller, but very adequate portions). We enjoyed: Great cocktails (Margarita, & a Bellini) Complimentary antipasto - delish Appetizers - Crispy artichokes cacio e pepe, & roasted carrots - both EXCELLENT! Primi pasta courses (Rigatoni Amatriciana, & Capellini with creamy shrimp and pastachio) - both pastas were delicious! Segondi entrees - Roasted halibut, and grilled NY Strip steak - again, both were EXCELLENT! Desserts - Mikkefoglie pistachio pastry mousse & Affogato (vanilla gelato w/ strawberries; this dessert is MUST TRY!! YUM!!) Whether a la carte, or this price-fixe Dinner Experience which we tried (or lunch for that matter), MAMO Miami is MUST TRY for delicious Italian cuisine on Brickell Avenue!!

I recently dined at Mamo, and it was an exceptional experience! The manager, Ricardo, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The highlight was the truffle pizza—absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors and a crisp, golden crust. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
