I am from Brazil and I know very well when it comes to the Brazilian food. I have been to many Brazilian churrascarias in So Cal and by far M Grill is my favorite place when it comes to steak. It's pitty they are closed for lunch on the weekends but their buffet and meat are so good and the price is very reasonable. It is far better in my opnion than Fogo de Chao here in the US. My only complain is M Grill used to have Brazilian meat servers who exaclty knew how to differently cut each parts of meat. However, last couple time I visited, I did not see a single Brazilian and the meat servers were randomly cutting the meat which kind of ruins the flavor.

I am Brazilian, so I took my husband to this place so he could start getting used to Brazilian food. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not busy at all. The staff was REALLY attentive and super friendly. Although I love meat, the salad bar is fantastic. It provides a little bit of food from almost all regions of Brazil. And as you can imagine, there are many different ways of preparing the same food. The “Pao de Queijo”(Chesse balls) is amazing! I ended up filing myself with them and I almost had to be carried away from the restaurant because I ate too much! LOL They also have a variety of “caipirinha” types. A Brazilian alcoholic drink usually made with lime, sugar and alcohol. The passion fruit one was my favorite. The remodel looks really great and now they have more than enough space to entertain a small party or family gathering. Again, this is a great place to try a bit of Brazilian food and its spices! We are definitely going back there along with friends and family. The Parking: Valet parking $3. Street metered parking, but only good for one hour in certain areas.

The Staff was permanent there for all our needs and the food was Super, outstanding. They really make me feel like at home at the moment they brought on my table Chimichurry Sauce with almost the same flavor like the one we use to do. About the price really convenient if you consider the quality of food and service you get.

Gorgeous interior, excellent service, live music, and lots and lots of delicious food!! Every cut of meat that I tried was tender, juicy, and flavorful... except one. I dunno what kind of meat it was, but it was a bit tough. But only one dislike out of the plethora of choices wasn't bad. My favorite cuts were the filet mignon and the ribeye. Mmm... Our party of 5 was served by Justin, who kept coming by to ask if there was anything we wanted special ordered in addition to all the meats that kept coming by. He was super nice and made sure we got everything we wanted. We ordered some chicken hearts and lots and lots of grilled pineapple, yum! This is the only churrascaria Brazilian steakhouse I've ever seen that serves grilled pineapple. The kale salad from the salad bar was also the bomb. I've only tried kale once prior to this, and it was kind of bitter, but this salad was delicious! I'm not sure what dressing they used, but it was slightly sweet and very tasty. I loved the pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread), too. So yummy, hot and fresh out of the basket on the table. I had to use all my willpower to limit myself to only one, so I had room in my tummy for all the other food, too. Dinner wasn't cheap at $49.99, but it was totally worth it for a decadent dinner out. Oh, and they're charging $2 for parking in the lot now, so it's no longer free.

The restaurant is clean and chic, located on the 2nd floor of a remodeled art deco building. There's a fixed price for lunch and dinner buffet with all you can eat salad bar, hot sides buffet and the churrasco brought to your table. The warm cheese bread is also a treat! Sodas are sold by cans and they offer no free-refills. I'm a big foodie and love meat. M Grill's quality of food is excellent, but as the restaurant gains popularity (I've been going since its Day 1 soft launch), the food "rationing" is getting worse and worse. The waiters will pretty much stop coming to your table once they feel you've had enough. They will also attempt to fill your stomach with less expensive items, such as sausages, chicken and top sirloin. Prime rib is never offered unless you ask for it. Even when, they give you only the smallest portions and keep pushing the chicken on you instead. Likewise, filet mignon is rationed is extreme small portions and won't be brought back as often as chicken. I personally know the owner and have complained, but with no competition in the area, the management feels that chintziness is an acceptable business practice. I've hosted several birthday and office holiday parties there. As much as I love their food, I dont feel they deserve my business. Food--excellent, IF you can get a fair share or bug the waiters enough.

This is a luxury Brazilian churascaria grill. If you do not care about the amount of calories, red meat, your wallet and your weight, enjoy this sumptuous place. I would go there at least once in a while. Americans improved this Brazilian iconic meal by adding a long array of salads and fruits. My wife and I really enjoyed various grilled meats.

from table service, to the food - everything is amazing! Everyone shall try their dinner buffet and eat the piccana! yummy

Looking for something more American to eat in Korea town, this place won't disappoint you! The salad bar and warm items were good and sufficient, but I went to eat meat and was very pleased! All you had to do was ask and the meat was at your table in minutes. Rib eye and tenderloins were amazing and grilled pineapple was a great topping to a wonderful evening of over indulgence!!

It was my first time to M Grill & I'm already planning my second visit 😋 It has a descent salad bar selection. The servers come around with a variety of delicious meat & chicken to choose from. I went during lunch hour and service was good. $30 per person

Although we arrived quite late on a Saturday night the staff were more than accommodating & found us a table quickly. The food was fresh & high quality & came around frequently. The staff were always so professional & courteous & we were asked several times throughout the evening if we had any special requests that we would like them to prepare. The service in this restaurant was second to none, all of the servers were very attentive without being overbearing & they made you feel like a valued guests. We would most certainly visit this restaurant again.

Very tasty unlimited churasco meat and side dishes. Decent happy hour specials at the bar. Love the cheese bread. There was also live music.

I have been to Fogo and I LOVE M Grill !! This place just remodeled and it bigger and better than before. If you are looking for great atmosphere and value, Mgrill is better. It is less expensive than Fogo. Now, in terms of taste. Mgrill blow Fogo out of the water. The meats at Mgrill have so much more flavor than Fogo. The Picano has the right amount of seasoning and taste. The chicken was not dry. The skin was crisp and meat was tender and juicy. I took my Brazillian friend to MGrill and he even thought the meats were better than Fogo. Now, I know people will say that the salad bar is underwhelming at Mgrill, but come on people! You go to Brazillian BBQ for the meats not the Salad Bar. BTW, the remodeling change the salad bar issue.

3.5 I normally prefer M Grill to some of the other more popular places for Brazilian BBQ. I will make the longer trip to Koreatown in order to come here. Parking is easy too, a big lot in the back. Most recently, we came here with my party of 11 for a birthday. For groups larger than 6, you have a contract. You give them your CC and can cancel I think 48 hours before the date of your reso. They also have a 10 minute grace period for your entire party to show up. This is understandable b/c it's not a huge restaurant, but it bugs me when your entire large group show up promptly (which is a feat in itself considering it's LA and you have to account for so many variables), and you still have to wait for your table to be prepared. I think we waited 20-30 mins. If you have a strict policy of late arrivals, then you should be equally strict on clearing out the tables. For example, at Animal when we were lingering longer than we should have, the hostess very politely let us know that a party has been waiting for the table, and that we were more than welcome to move to the bar area. The salad bar is small, but I like what they offer here more than at Fogo. For example, the collard greens, the mashed yuca, etc. The meat is also good, but I think the quality is better at Fogo. What I love the most is their palate cleanser, the pineapple coated in cinnamon. Soooo yummy. Service is excellent, our waitress was especially wonderful, but my biggest issue was how often the meat came around. My past 2-3 trips here have suffered from this. They just don't make the rounds often enough -- no where near how often it comes around at other restaurants we've been to. And twice the meat didn't make it down to certain ends of our table b/c they ran out. Promises of them returning never happened. It got to the point that I had to ask the waitress about this, and she quickly solved the problem. But I think this is just an issue with M Grill. For that alone, I don't know if I will pick this place over Libra or Fogo in the future.

I was staying in Los Angeles during NBA All-Star Weekend 2018 and decided to have dinner there. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. The ambiance of this place is just fabulous. This is a must stop on your dinning to do list while visiting Los Angeles.

I enjoyed various kind of beef in Brazilian BBQ style and salad bar. Waiters serve different part of beef in turn to your table. You just say yes or no. If you say yes, waiter will cut and leave a piece of meat. There is small tag with green and red colored at both side. If you put tag with green, meat will be continuously served. If you put tag with red, that means you finish your meal. Anyhow beef quality was good, restaurant has nice interior and lighting at dinner time. Parking area is also spacious. Ballet parking fee is $5.

My husband and I had tickets to see Ben Harper and the Rentlesss 7 at the Wiltern theater on 05/28/09. This time I was certain to pick a 1) a cool, local place to eat and 2) a better place to park. We found both. M Grill saved the night! I actually read a review on a competitor website and decided it was worth a try. We didn't know what to expect but were so surprised when we walked inside. We discovered a swank layout with dimmed lights, dark wood, a wall length wine storage that rivals some high end restaurants (think Grace: not as large but just as tall and wide) and most importantly really good service. Sometimes, service and the quality with which it is provided can elevate the dining experience and it certainly did here. We expected just yummy Brazilian bbq but got quality wine choices great but unobtrusive service and all within walking distance to the Wiltern! The dishes were savory beef, chicken and lamb. We really liked everything including the: tri-tip, beef ribs, sirloin and garlic chicken, two types of sausage, etc. To be fair, we have always been fans of Fogo de Chao and I'm sure we'll go back there. The big difference between the two are price, and location. M Grill is far less expensive, close to the Wiltern (and other downtown destinations) and close to the Metro (although taking the Metro doesn't work for us at all) but they have their parking lot (we parked across the street on Manhattan Place for $5...shh don't tell anyone as this proved to be a cheap, safe and fast entry/exit for the concert). Fogo is centrally located but the prices a higher. Again, we like both but for great food at a great price and walking distance within the Wiltern RUN to M Grill!

It does dessrve the 122 per person. Way too expensive. Undeservedly. Service was fine but overall definetely overpriced. I would not recommend it because with same price you can

It's my favorite all-you-can-eat-BbQ, beats all those junky korean places and even Fogo de Chao. a stylish intimate location with ample free parking in the back. unexpectedly located in the center of ktown but serving the most succulent, flavorful meat for an all-you-can-eat. plus, great service. dont forget to tell the server your favorite, it'll be promptly brought out. I recommend the garlic beef & polish sausage. The bacon-wrapped filet mignon is a bit tough for me. the salad bar is above average, with all your veggie cravings. i load up on the pico de gallo, try a little of the mashed yucca and fried bananas. but i'd advise you to stick with the churrasco. at least once, order the guarana soda (pricey redbull alternative at $3/ can) and get your unlimited helping of those cheese puff/breads. Mm

We went to this restaurant every time we are in Los Angeles. They do not disappoint. The serving staff is friendly and always ready to help. Make sure you are very hungry before you come for dinner at this restaurant. They served different types of meat and chicken. There are also a salad bar which not only served salads, but a lot of other dishes as well. A reservation is needed though as it is always busy. On a weekend there is a live entertainment, if you want a quiet meal, I suggest you come on a weekday.

I've been to Fogo de chau, in Beverly Hills, and Vegas. I've also been to Greenfield in Long Beach, and Espetus in San Francisco and San Mateo, and Pampas in Palo Alto, and I have to say that I was most impressed with M Grill in Los Angeles. Located upstairs in a nondescript K-town building, I didn't know what to expect and thought that I would just find a Brazilian BBQ wannabe, among the plethora of cheaper k-bbq options in this area of Los Angeles. Thankfully, I was completely wrong, and very impressed with what M Grill had to offer. Each of the meats they offered (cuts of beef, chicken, lamb, sausage) were delicious, and prepared perfectly. For those at the table who thought that the rarish to medium-rare meat was on the pink side, they went out of the way to ensure that everything would be cooked further if desired. At one point, the meats kept flowing endlessly and piling up on the our plates, and, unlike other places I've been, not all the meats tasted very similar. Each had a distinct flavor, and my favorites were the top sirloin, and the garlic beef. Make sure you try some of their pineapple with cinnamon. It is delicious. The salad bar was not as extensive as Fogo de Chao, but really, I wasn't looking for salad, I was looking for meat. The salad bar did have the typical salad items, as well as a great pineapple/basil salad. I was impressed with the freshness and frequency that items were refilled. The restaurant interior was very high class, with large wine racks filling the walls, and a nice bar with beautiful calla lilies flanking each side of the bar. Once you get in, you wouldn't even realize you were in k-town! Prices are as expected for Brazilian BBQ in LA - a bit lower than in Beverly Hills, but by no means a deal in comparison the k-bbq places for meat at less than half the price. As a bonus, the servers knew how to say each of the meats names in korean, so non-english speaking folks in the area wouldn't be out of place! Overall, I was very impressed with M Grill and will definitely come back!

One of my daughters b-day is the 26th of December, so we met friends and family here for a Christmas/Birthday dinner. We had read pretty good reviews and went with an open mind. As with all Churrasco's you start with the salad/hot bar. I was very very disappointed not only in the size, but the [not fresh] offerings, but the quality as well. Most of the salads were drowning in their dressings. But as many say you don't come for the salad, so turn the card to green and let the meat parade begin. They had all of your typical offerings...I won't go into all of them, but a few of the highlights were the 2 sausage offerings, and the garlic steak. The chicken offerings were constantly very dry and hard to eat. We were offered both pork and beef ribs which was a nice surprise. We were not offered any seafood/fish of any kind, but did notice it was being served to a few tables near the bar area...makes you wonder why not your table and only there's?? The cheese bread was very disappointing..and trust me I LOVE the cheese breads at all of the other churrasco's I have eaten at... In fact one could say I am addicted to them LOL We do not drink alcohol, so I can't comment on it, but I can tell you the price for a TINY bottle ginger ale was close to $5..a little excessive if you ask me. But I can comment on the service...it was AWFUL ... it had to have been cause he knew he automatically was getting at least an 18% tip due to the 9 of us. He never brought clean plates, never asked if there was any cut of meat we would like for them to bring out, basically he acted like he did not give any or even one care. tisk, tisk, tisk. In a nut shell...it was okay, but not good enough for any of us to ever go back..makes me sad cause I was really looking for a great Brazilian Steak house in Los Angels..... I am however super excited to find out that Texas De Brazil is opening there very first restaurant in Ca..in Irvine. We can't wait.

Thank You for a great dinner service. This is one place I will definitely come back. Quality of the meat was excellent and service was A plus.

Love this place. The service is excellent and the meat is great, my favorites are the rack of lamp and rib eye steak. Large selection of salad and side dishes, my go to are the asparagus and cream corn. Parking is valet and it's only $3.

Me and my family were having a special moments at this restaurant after my sister's doctorial graduation yesterday, 05/15/2015. Even tho we can have a good BBQ from home, instead, visited your place is to have a good SERVICE. Our kid's specific order has been IGNORED, ended up not having it at all (requested to five different servers and your manager!!). An order finally came out after 40 min, we were already full with cheap salads!!. My mom requested a replacement fork, ended up no response, and IGNORED (myself got up and grabbed from the emptied table), my sister requested to server for more often visit with meat, half IGNORED. Our designated table server greeted, introduced himself at the beginning but disappeared and IGNORED until ended up meal. They all apologized and manager offered free dessert and sounded like he's doing a huge favor for our family, I denied (yeah, $10 soju only wrote off on the receipt). HOW DARE YOU RUINED OUR FAMILY'S ONE SPECIAL MOMENTS IN OUR LIVES???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had great dinner here last weekend. We didn't know it was Dine L.A., and the inclusion of Wagyu beef was a nice surprise. Service was spot on, no complaints.

In short, yes, M Grill is worth every penny for both the amazing meat and friendly, highly competent service. I used to visit M Grill fairly regularly a few years ago when my job required me to visit a client in the area. After that company went belly-up in The Great Recession and I moved further away, I didn't get to visit for a few years. When the little woman bought tickets to a show in Hollywood and I saw that M Grill was just one block away from the end of the Metro's Purple Line, I just had to take her there. I am glad to report that the place is as great as it's ever been and has even expanded since my last trip there. It's very nice and comfortable inside but doesn't require a big dress-up to get inside. Everybody working there seems happy and provides excellent service. The salad bar/buffet is filled with goodies but, of course, don't fill up on them! Drinks from the bar are well prepared and not skimpy on the alcohol. Of course, the whole point of a "Brazilian steakhouse" is the never-ending parade of meat that will keep coming to the table until you flip over the little coaster that tells them to stop. I have never in my life been to any type of restaurant where every single type of flesh is so incredibly tasty. Even the two types of sausages they bring are excellent. If you're like me and more likely to go to hole-in-the-wall places that aren't that expensive, yes, this place will come with a hefty bill. It is truly worth the cost especially for a special occasion. There is no place anywhere that will treat you as well and leave you so completely satisfied and full.

Can't comment on the price/value as we were taken here for work. The various beef choices were quite good, as was the chicken. The sausage was decent, but nothing to write home about. My favorite may have actually been the pineapple. The salad/side dish bar is a definitely on the weak side, but then is that really what you would come here for. Overall a very enjoyable dinner.

M grill used to be amazing!! But not any more it's not as good as they used to be let me be clear go to fogo de chao on or papas grill trust me it tastes a whole lot better. Back to my review the whole night we asked for the fillet minion and guess what after being full and annoyed we finally got to try it and it was ehh..... I strongly recommend stay away spend a couple of more dollars at fogo de chao

Excellent meat, meat and more meat! Didn’t try the salad bar- just meat and Tres Leches cake. Good drinks as well

The Service: Wonderful! Super attentive~ Every staff is so polite. Love the service!! The Food: dineLA week, lunch is only $25!! Compare to dinner, fewer meat choices but so much cheaper!! Salad bar is great. Fresh ingredient. So much food. You better come hungry!! My favorite is "Chicken Heart"!!! I know... I know... I am Chinese so eating chicken heart is not strange to me. Super tender!! Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE their grilled pineapple. OMG!! They sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, totally healthy dessert!! The guy came to our table 4-5 times and I said YES every single time!! The Parking: Valet parking $3. Street metered parking only good for one hour.

The meal was overpriced for what we received. It was recommended to us by our hotel. close to the hotel in Koreotown. Food we as average. Waiters buzzing around everywhere with different cuts of meat. Food was not warm.

My boyfriend was in the mood for Brazilian so we ended up here. When we approached the hostess the station, a guy, who I assume is the manager asked if we had reservations, do you really need reservations for lunch? Told him no, and he had to confirm with the server that we could be sat, why? Were seated and greeted by a French waiter, who was so sweet and kind, but come one, you can't find a decent Hispanic server? Once seated I went to use the restroom and one on my way out, I asked the hostess (girl) the price of the buffet, she confirmed, $30, great. After that, things got weird. I feel like the hostess told the manager that I asked about pricing and they were concerned??? That what? we'd walk out on the check? The male manager hovered the entire time we were eating. It was quite disturbing. Now for the meats, in the beginning they started coming every 2-3 minutes, great. But then after we flipped the card to red to catch a breather, they started coming even slower, with the same items....We had to ask for the items they weren't bringing to us. Why? I understand all of the tables are at a different pace and part of the dining, but somehow they should keep track??? I don't know. We had to ask for 5 out of the 12 items to try, what the hell??? And 1 of the 5 we never received. The grilled pineapple is delicious, the salad bar had a nice selection and the cheese biscuits were super yummy. Their goal is to fill you up on the cheap stuff (salad bar and bread) so then you won't eat a lot of meat. I don't know if we'd return. The manager left me with a bad feeling. And feeling like we were being cheated out of meats is not good.

This delightful restaurant is one block from the Wiltern Theater. The churrasco meats were delicious, and salad bar et al made us FULL. My adult daughter, 10 year old granddaughter and I had tickets at the Wiltern for the Great Russian Nutcracker at 7:30 so we made dinner reservations for 5:15 which worked out perfectly. There is $3 valet parking. Food and service was very good. Creamed corn is not to be missed! It was pricey but worth it for a special evening.

Small selection of salads but good enough to clear your palate every time you feel you had too much meat already, though the grilled pineapple with cinnamon can do that trick too. I love coming here whenever Im feeling carnivorous (Fogo is a bit pricey for me to make it in my once a month thing when I could get almost the same spread exc for the salad and ambience) but I normally would pace my visits (or would workout a day before or after, haha) because they serve quite savory and tender meats here that I have a difficult time quitting, and the cheese bread, especially when they just got them off their kitchen, they could be so sinful and lovely at the same time.

We have been to Brazilian BBQ restaurants in the past, but this is by far the best. Fantastic service and good food. Enjoyed the nice selection at the salad/side dish bar. Pleasant ambiance and nice decor. This is a must go in L.A.

This dinner was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my girlfriend. I clearly put it in the notes. Maybe they were too busy with someone else's birthday, because they didn't so a single thing for us. The service was awful and staff rude. They made zero attempt to make anything better after ruining the dinner. I also was there once before and the celebrated a birthday then too. Clearly not everyone is good enough for M Grill. So screw them, and go to Fogo De Chao instead, the food is better anyway. This place, it's staff, it's food, and it's customer service are all deplorable. I'll never even consider returning.

meats are OK, other side and cold dishes were simply not impressive and lacked variety. Prices were higher than it deserved for my taste and judgement. Not impressed.

After going to my first Brazilian Churrascaria (steakhouse) while on vacation in Vegas two months ago I wanted to find something in my area that served the same faire (In Ventura County none of these type restaurants are available as of yet, hint hint) So I found through Google several place that were about an hour south of me in the Los Angeles area. I settled on the M-Grill and I'm glad I did. We were celebrating a belated birthday party for one in our group so traveling an hour south and reading reviews you sometimes feel like you are throwing a dart at a map when making a choice. We had a 6:00 pm Saturday reservation. Heads up, parking is on the side of the building and you have to enter from the back of the building via elevator or stairs which is not very well marked from the lot. When we arrived we were the fourth table to have been seated so we pretty much had the run of the hot and cold salad bar which was nice (Sevral items didnt excite me but I came for the meat anyway). The pieces of meat they serve you are little smaller cuts than the previous place I had visited in Vegas but it really didnt matter because you could ask for more of anything and as many times as you wished. The meal in a whole was very good but keep in mind when you are served such a variety there is just gonna be those certain items you may not fancy (dont use this for detracting your overall rating). The staff was mostly knowledgeable and very friendly but for this entertainment style of dining I just wish that they were alil more showy (on the other hand this place is more upscale then the previously mentioned, so I can understand if their style of serving is enforced by the management). The only real disappointment was that the advertised Filet Mignon was not on the evenings menu but was replaced with Lamb, and the Lamb was a great replacement and indeed a highlight of the line up. The drink that we all settled on is their specialty, the Caipirinha (a brazilian twist on a mojito). These were very good but on the borderline of alil pricey. At the end of our carniverous meatfest which included Picanha (Top Sirloin cap), the Lamb of course, garlic beef, succulent Rib eye, Ribs, Chicken and several others (roughly 11-13 in all), we split a piece of their Brazilian flan with carmel drizzled over the top and several cups of some really good coffee (Stuffed). So lets review: - Alittle hard to find at first - Great Food - Great staff - Overall borderline pricey (but this is upscale and to be any cheaper the quality and selection would take a great nosedive). 4 1/2 Stars from me and I will return!! P.S. Showing up late in the evening could possibly produce under or over cooked meat (which I have seen in some other reviews of this style of food at a variety of restaurants) My advice make earlier reservations (get the first batch that comes out for the night to place it safe if you feel the need ).

Brazilian BBQ - delicious cuts of freshly grilled meats sliced at your table, with an excellent selection of vegetables and side dishes to accompany them. Be sure to try the house specialty Picanha! It doesn't take long to discover which cut is your favorite, then you can skip the rest. Convenient valet parking.

We were there for my birthday celebration. The ambiance is amazing, the place looks very good and the waiters are so friendly! They’re wine list is very rich and well done! Concerning the food, the salad bar is very diversified, tasteful and refilled continuously during the evening ! The barbecue was an exceptional experience. 18 different types of the best beef, lamb, pork and chicken in the world, served non-stop, perfectly done and presented beautifully. I find it a little bit pricy, you should expect 80$/person (with wine), but this is definitely a must try where the best meat is served !

This is an upscale Brazilian steakhouse/ churrascaria (large self-serve salad bar and unlimited meats and chicken served at your table). Decor is quite attractive and comfortable. Diners were dressed in formal wear to jeans: all were welcomed. Our reservation was promptly acknowledged. We were immediately offered water and served backed tapioca balls that were excellent. A full bar with a good selection of wines, moderately priced. A limited selection of single wine glasses in multiple categories. The self-serve salad bar is typical of this type of restaurant: a large selection of salads, soups, vegetables, shrimp, salmon and much more. The quality of most items was very good, with some being excellent and a few being O.K. The meats, pork, and chicken are brought to the table and cut off of the skewer (there are over 16 selections served). Flavors and textures ranged from very good to excellent. Every item served us was delicious and properly cooked (you can ask for meats more or less done than what you are initially offered). Service was attentive, both by the wait-person, bus-persons, and those serving the meats. A limited dessert menu is offered for those who have room left for dessert. If you do, try the Manja de Coco, a nice coconut dessert similar to flan. Prices are moderate and well worth the cost for the decor, service, and the food. We will be coming back soon.

I asked my husband to take me to Fogo, but he really likes the the sides at M Grill. When he checked their website, we were surprised to see that they remodeled. The remodel looks fantastic. I think it about tripled in size. Roomier seating area, larger bar, and the most important, better meat rotations!! :) The newer layout made such a difference. Service was excellent too. They were very responsive to requests for certain types of meats and got them to you within minutes. They also still have the yummy collard greens, plantains and fried yuca, but you order them from your table now.

Three of us on business in LA and booked a table for 8.30 pm Wednesday 11th June. Had read the reviews on trip advisor so we were really looking forward to our first Brazilian experience. We arrived at reception on time but were told to wait at the bar. There was a film crew in the premises doing what looked like a promo video and they were taking up the attention of most of the staff. We bought a drink and despite asking where our table was, we were kept waiting for almost 40 minutes. Then the female staff member came to seat us but insisted that we pay our drinks bill before we could be escorted to our table! After we paid the bill we were seated right where we had been standing at the bar. So the table had been lying empty all that time. We were so incensed that we just got up and left, with a great feeling of disappointment. The way we were looked after that night was totally unacceptable and we will never return to experience such treatment during future trips to LA.

Last night in LA and we went to M Grill for dinner. I've been to a few Brazilian steakhouses so I was curious to see how this would be different. The salad bar/hot items were good. They had this seafood medley with a cream sauce that was sooooo good. The muscles were my favorite. Drinks were strong and meats were cooked well. Would visit again.

This was a great place.. Def enjoyed the different meats and the sides they offered... They the sangria, it's a delish drink! Parking can be a pain, but it's worth it...

I went here for lunch, I'm not a really meat person but my husband yes, he loves meat. So we decided to try this place, I took only the bar salad menu, here is possible usually the steaks house didn't have this option, was amazing and rich I really enjoyed and of course also my husband was really happy about his meat. They also have a very good Crème Brule' must try!!!

Park in the in the adjacent lot for $4. The decor is modern, though not Bazillian, housed in an a large open room. There is an excellent appetizer buffet followed by a continuous parade of meat carved on to your plate. All is delicious and hot. There is an extensive wine list and a small, though varied dessert choice. Not cheap, dinner for our group of 7 was $711 with a bottle of wine and a couple of beers and an included 18% gratuity.

Very nice dining experience over deliciously prepared grilled juicy meat. Cold food bar has everything that you might want. Friendly and polite staff. Given its location I would characterize this as a hidden gem!

I will definitely come again when I am in the area! I had originally reserved a table for 2 for 830p.. That afternoon my friend brought another friend who was going to join us.. We were in the pool longer than expected and needed to push back the reservation. I called the restaurant, and they said last seating was at 930p and they would have the table for 3 ready. This place is on the 2nd floor of an office building, so you may not even notice it unless you know its there. As we were coming up, I get a call from them, making sure we are close. We got seated and had a bottle of their Moscato selection. The guachos came often with meat selections.. absolutely fantastic.. Sides were still hot and there was plenty, even tho it was already past last seating. We were able to enjoy the meal no problem. The atmosphere was just fantastic.. Its pricey, but its something you can treat yourself, and others, to every once in a while!

Had a craving for Brazilian bbq so I took recommendations for places in LA. The food was delicious and service was good. We loved the grilled pineapple. Will be back for sure.

Elegant decor but atmosphere is relaxed. Wide selection of salads and grilled vegetables. Meats grilled to perfection and service was attentive. What a treasure in the Wiltern area.

We tried M Grill a few years ago and found the quality of food inconsistent and the service spotty at best. Last year, we gave it another try and there were definite improvements. The service is now very good, servers are attentive and pay attention to requests. The food is also very good, the meats are tasty and cooked to your preference. One of our favorites!

One of the BEST Brazilian Steakhouse dining experiences in a while. M Grill is huge, spacious and simply gorgeous!! The table setting is impeccable and this gives off the impression of a fine dining establishment. Large windows with tables next to them. They have limited booth seating. They are an authentic Brazilian Churrascaria (steakhouse) that serves some of the most premium cuts of meats, grilled to perfection!! Slow roasted and they only use charcoal!! It definitely exceeded my expectations!! I can see why they are celebrating 22 years!! So juicy! So tender! Bursting with flavor!! Our favorites were the Filet Mignon, Rib Eye, Picanha, Smoked sausages, Lamb chops, Short Ribs, Bottom Sirloin and Top Sirloin. Talk about MEAT HEAVEN!! If there was something we wanted to try, Kiko made sure they stopped by our table. My favorites from the salad bar were the roasted bell peppers, mini mozzarella balls, small carrots and hummus!! Try the roasted red bell peppers with the mini mozzarella balls together - AMAZING!! I had to get seconds!! Don’t miss out on their delicious sides like their caramelized grilled pineapple and grilled cheese with hot honey!! You can add on Wagyu Picanha, Salmon, Lobster Tail or a 32oz Tomahawk for an extra cost. (reserve 24hrs in advance of your reservation) We tried the Crème Brûlée, Dulce de Leche and Flan for dessert! So creamy and delectable! If I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be the Crème Brûlée!! They have a full bar with handcrafted drinks. Loved the presentation of the Smoked Old Fashioned!! The Caipirinha has refreshing!! They have an excellent wine list. Miranda did an amazing job!! Top notch customer service from the staff, especially Ivo, Gustavo, Kiko and Miranda!! Perfect for date night or your next group gathering!! Check out the specials!! Reserve your spot!! They do have a private room, perfect for a large group. Check for availability! Tip: come HUNGRY!! Pace yourself!! Put card to red in between meats so that your meat is hot when you eat it and so that you don’t get too full quick!! They do have a Parking lot and it is $6. M Grill is on the 2nd floor, either by taking the stairs or elevator.

My husband and I have eaten at Brazilian steakhouses all over the country and this has to be raked as very below par. The decor is nice, our reservation was promptly handled and we were seated by a window. Our waiter "Sam" took our drink orders and that was the last time we saw him. Since we had been to steakhouses, we knew to go to the salad bar but once we were finished, no one came to take away our plates, nor did we get new ones, my husband went for clean plates at the salad bar. No steak knives were offered, but not sure that would have helped, the meat was tough, tasteless and grizzly.

This Brazilian BBQ restaurant is located in a office/shopping center type of building in Korean Town. The restaurant is actually on the second floor. The decors of the place is nothing to rave about, could be better for the Price $$$$. The service is slightly above average. The selection of the BBQ product is less than what I'm accustomed to from my previous experiences with this type of place. The soup/salad bar selection is Not impressive. No labeling of the soup, I have to track down the wait staff to find out what it is in it. I could have been more picky than most people goes to this place in the Los Angeles area. Most LA people are probably very happy with this restaurant. But I'm from Florida, we have lots of South American Restaurants that are very competitive with each other which drives up the qualities. In additional I have been to South America and Brazil many times, and I have been to many Brazilian BBQ places(owned and operated by Brazilians) while I was there. My eyes and taste buds may just be TOO critical. I have to check out other Brazilian BBQ places next time I'm in LA to give a more comparative review to this type of place in LA area.

The restaurant is beautiful, the staff was awesome, our server Nani went out of her way, to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, she even brought our kids yucca fries to try and extra sodas to take home. The food is delicious as well.

Attended a wedding rehearsal dinner there. Most of the party was really late and they still honored the reservation. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The food was fabulous!

If you like beef, this is the place to go. Meat, meat and more meat. There are some chicken, pork and lamb also. But beef is the majority. Top sirloin, bottom sirloin, filet, short ribs, you name it, they were all excellent. I even tried the pork ribs and they were tasty and tender. The Parmesan chicken was especially good. I only thing I did not care for was the Brazilian sausage, but this is 100% personal preference. The salad bar has some nice options. I just wish they were labelled. One downfall is it seems like half the salad bar was always empty. It was like they could not keep up? Other than that, the service was excellent. If you can afford the price (+$50 per person for dinner), it is definitely worthwhile. I know we will be going back the next time we are in town.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here 2 years ago, we recommended this place to our friends to celebrate their birthday last October and we had a fantastic time. Today was the end of Tax Season. So my boss asked where we should celebrate. I recommended this place. But ended up being an embarrassing choice. I called for a reservation and the host was very professional, we ordered a bottle of red wine to enjoy our evening because we had a great end to the tax season . The problem was the servers. My co-worker invited her brother who was just visiting in LA and is his first time to try a Brazilian steak house. He was placing the small plate near the meat being cut because he was excited and did not know to use the Tongs. One of your servers suddenly said “Bro I don’t like you putting the plate near me.The brother of my co-worker said sorry and he did not understand english very well. But your server Still repeated saying “ I don’t like that, I don’t like that, don’t do that with hostility and biting his lips. And that was the start of our dinner another server talked to him and asked what happened. Guess what happened next? No servers came to our table and all of our requested meats were sent to a different table. This was a Brazilian Churrasco, I was not informed that you need to flag down the people with the MEAT just to get what you were craving for. All of our table cards were in Green. Is this a new thing for M GRILL? We all turned a blind eye and pretended that that was nothing as we wanted to save the dinner. Instead of impressing my boss and co-workers because of my recommendation it ended up very embarrassing. We were paying an extra charge to dine at M grill which we thought had the best service and quality of meats + there is automatic gratuity that we did not contest as we want our evening to end good. So why did not ask to speak with a manager? Your manager at the time was not doing table touch or asking on how guests are doing. The 2nd manager was Busy bartending. My brother in law is Brazillian, I have tried a lot of Brazilian restaurant with the same type of service so I am not new to this. M grill you should do a better job with managing your people and training and coaching them. You are not cheap. We pay an extra to have a dining experience with you but I guess your management is not focused on the Customer Experience. I will never recommend you again nor comeback to your restaurant. The only thing special with you guys is that your servers skips tables and they have hostility. I would recommend people to just go to Fogo or Galpao gaucho, or just go to Pampas

This place is great. You serve your self with side dishes. All you want and all you can eat. Then guys come to your table non stop with many many kinds of meats. They advertise as "Brazilian steakhouse offering all-you-can-eat grilled meats, plus a salad bar with hot & cold items." It cost me $135 for two people including a $20 tip. This is on my favorites list.

We went there on a Wednesday night. Parking is not an issue here despite being in the city. Great interior decor ... awesome display of wine bottles in the wall. Tables comfortably spaced. The place itself has a great ambiance. The salad buffet in minimal compared to other places with the same theme but the ingredients were fresh and variety was adequate. The cheese bread balls were average and not as addictive as at other places. As far as the meats go, the variety was very good. However, we found most of the meats on the night we went too salty and some were cooked perfectly while others were overcooked. The pineapple offering was unique with the sugary coating and it was a great signature dish. I actually liked the lower key service where the staff doesn't overwhelm with constant meats but we found that if we liked a specific variety, then it was best to ask for it rather than wait.

Best BBQ ever. Nice interior and for the quality of the food, the price was worth it! Food was always coming around, and the service was exceptional. They never left you wondering when you can receive service. Cup was always full as well.

I've finally decided where I wanted to go for my birthday lunch, I chose M grill since my favorite churrascaria Libra had been regretibly closed, this is where I made my first mistake. I've been here twice in the past for anniversaries, both times disappointed in the food & especially the service, but since there aren't too many AYCE Brazilian joints in LA, we keep coming back here. Never again. On 1/15/16 I called to make a reservation for a lunch that coming Monday 1/18/16, not being aware that it was DineLa week, I was told that they were booked up, I graciously accepted that. I asked if they would accept a walk in, I was informed that yes they can, just get there before they open, which at the time I was under the assumption was 11:30 am because that's what was stated on their website. So I took a day off work & so did my family, the kid was out of school due to MLK holiday which was a big reason we needed to go on this particular day. Come 1/18/16, I wake up at 4 in the morning to get a workout in & get ready as early as possible to secure seats. We arrive at Mgrill at 10:45, go up to the chubby Asian girl which was the hostess, she looked quite surprised we were there that early, told her that we were walk ins & if it was possible to get seats. She said, "you are in luck, I can get you seated as soon as we open. Everything was good, & since we got there soo early, we went back to the car to get out of the cold lobby they had. About 20 mins later at 11:15am, we head back in, there was a crowd forming, so we just wait outside the lobby till they opened. So it's time, they opened, people were entering & getting seated. We head in to get our table, a gentleman I'm assuming is a manager ask what my name was, I give it to him, & a puzzle look is on his face. "I'm not seeing your name here, did you have reservations?" I informed him our situation being walk ins but were promised seats by the hostess. Chubby Asian hostess comes up, tells the manager that we came in earlier but we had lost our reservation because they opened at 11. This is where I'm about to lose my cool but I kept calm asked him what time they opened, he said normally 11:30 but since it's the beginning of DineLa, they decided to open at 11, but I guess chubby host failed to inform us of these new hours. So reluctantly, we sat at the bar(which is the equivalent to sitting at the kids table) hoping a table would open up. We waited for about 15-20 minutes before we threw in the towel & just started to eat at the bar. I had lost my appetite & patience at this point but since the family was there & we drove 60 miles one way, I just had to bite the bullet on eating there, that was the second mistake. The bartender woman, which is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of one, was extremely friendly. She got us started with plates & drinks, then we went to the salad bar which was just ok, the rice among most of the warm dishes were lukewarm to cold. We turn the meat card to green to receive the meat dishes. At first, the service was fast & we were getting the meat service every 2-3 minutes. I thought to myself this is too good to be true since my last 2 visits, my main complaints were the meat service were very slow & so was the rotation of the meat selection. Unfortunately after about 6 rounds of meats(being only of 2 varieties)the service seemed to stop. This was my biggest fear of sitting at the bar, as I saw meat after meat dishes going out to the tables, we sat there for a good 20 mins till I was able to flag down a server to request a few cuts & then crickets again. After about 40 minutes, the chubby Asian hostess along with her manager informed us that there was a table available, but since we sat there soo long & we were well into our meal, I found it ridiculous to move all of our stuff to the new table, so we opted to stay at the bar. Full disclosure, we were offered free desert & some appetizers, but at that point there was nothing they could do to reconcile ruining my b-day lunch. All in all, we were there a total of 2 hours(I'd say a good hour of it waiting for the meat dishes to arrive), I had about 2 varieties of red meat(that were severely under cooked) one chicken dish, & what seemed to be polish sausage which is not even close to the 11 varieties of meat they have advertised on their menu, false advertisement at it's best. So in summary, the incompetence of chubby Asian hostess ruined the whole dining experience for us & I can't see coming back here again on top of the horrible food service. It's sad to say, I've had better meals at a Brazilian bbq in the Topanga Mall food court. Even at the $25 Dinela price, It's easy to say we did not get our money's worth in food. We'll shell out a few more bucks & go to Fogo next time, maybe then I'll feel full when leaving an AYCE restaurant.

Really good service and food bit price if you asked me, but a must try if your in town specially if you plann a dinner with your love one :-D

Price is steep, but good food. Not too salty as so many restaurants are these days. Don't load up on salad as meat courses are what you are paying for-- but the cheesy bread is great!

Great service and the food is so good! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. One of our family is vegetarian and loved the salad bar! We will be back every time we visit LA.

I would only eat here if 2 things happen. 1. All other places would be closed and 2. I would not care if the food I ingested was any good or not.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The salad bar was excellent with lots of choices and the servers came around frequently with the meat, which was delicious. We were asked frequently if we had any requests and were always served fairly quickly.

One of our go-to restaurants and it did not disappoint tonight for dinner. The meat is always good and the staff is very friendly. We were seated at 6:45 and the only complaint would be that some of the meats did not start making the rotation around the room until 7:30. Definitely look forward to going back!

The ambiance is classy yet casual. Food is great and wine list is extensive. Cons would be that the caparinhas are too sweet and its a bit pricey. Pro- food is awesome and you have to try the flan!

This is a fantastic place. Nice atmosphere and decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Full bar with a host of beer and wine choices. The salad/side bar is fantastic with both hot and cold foods including seafood. The meats where very good both the Beef and the Lamb not to mention the chicken hearts are fantastic. You have to ask for the chicken hearts they don't bring those out with the normal meat rotation. If you see something on the menu that hasn't been offered just ask your Gaocho he make sure to take care of you. Please don't forget to take care of him. Very reasonably priced for a great night out. We had a table with a great view of the city. The self parking is really easy but they do have valet. We will be back on our next trip to LA.

While a vegetarian or vegan wouldn't starve at M Grill, it's definitely more for meat-lovers. If you've never been to a churrascaria, this is a good one to try. The food is good, the service was good (actually better than expected for a busy Mother's Day), and it's a good value if you like meat. The Picanha is usually my favourite, but that night the ribeye and bottom sirloin stole the show. All the meats were well-seasoned and beautifully cooked. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and moist the bacon-wrapped chicken was. A big hit at our table was the chicken hearts although I didn't have any. Also popular was the grilled pineapple. I wholeheartedly enjoyed this but it's *almost* too sweet. I had one nice-sized slice and that was enough to satisfy my sweet-tooth. Other reviewers mentioned that the salad bar/side dishes paled in comparison to the meats, but they're right...why are you filling up on salad when there are gorgeous cuts of meat in front of you? That said, I like the salad bar a lot. There's a lot of variety and it's all very fresh. I found myself going back for melon since it made for a nice palate cleanser. All in all it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I need to eat here more often.

Second time there and both were during DineLA for lunch. Go early or you will have to wait. Salad bar is so good just on its own. The meats are always delicious and the service is always excellent. A top class restaurant.

I have been to other Brazilian restaurant in this part of the city and M Grill is one of the best. Meat were tender and juicy and sides are complement well with the meat. Place is suitable for business meetings and casual conversations. I would definitely get back to this place.Price is reasonable and value for money.

Nice restaurant, with good atmosphere. Food was good but not amazing. Service as far as wait staff was horrible. Most of them were sitting at the bar eating and talking on their phones with the manager next to them. Manager didn't acknowledge as at any point of time. Would not recommend going back there.

M Grill can be considered a hidden gem of koreatown LA in my book. No longer will you have to make the trip out to FOGOs in Hollywood for quality Brazilian bbq. The hassle of making reservations and paying $$$ for valet is old news once M grill popped up. The meat quality is amazing and cooked to perfection. Almost all the meat served at FOGO they have here, including the famous must-have Brazilian churrasco. Some options that M Grill has against its competitors are the cinnamon glazed & grilled pineapples. Absolutely addicting and a great way to give your tastebuds a break from all the meat. Another secret that you should have on your plate here, are the small red chilies that are served in the salad bar. I have not seen these peppers served in any other Brazilian barbecues. As these little peppers pop in your mouth, it gives the perfect spice to accompany any selection of meats. Last but not least, keep yourself hydrated with guarana soda. If your wondering what this is, imagine of ginger ale soda and sugar canes mixed together. Mhmmmm. To sum it all up; Valet available, service is amazing, reservations are usually open, and they have great happy hour! Only complaint i have that I wish the salad bar is bigger. The selection is a bit limited especially on the greens. As much as I love meat, everyone needs a change of pace and color on their plate.

The wait can be very long, so we made the reservation 2 weeks before. Stilled waited 10 minute, but we were seated very quickly. Recommend the Parmesan beef, top sirloin, Costelao, and grilled shrimp (only served during restaurant week). The best is definitely the grilled pineapple! Extremely delicious! My family and I kept wanting more (we ended up 3 rounds of pineapples)! Personally, I do not like the bottom sirloin. It was a little dry for me. The mushroom soup and seafood stew at salad bar are very delicious! Highly recommended! Wine pairing is recommended. During restaurant week, there is a special for selected types of wine. We picked one from the list (Chateau St. Jean 2010), and it enhanced the flavor of the food.
Barbeque? M Grill.
There are several Brazilian barbeque locations in LA. This is the one to go to. The food and service are the best. Look also for the wines in the display cases on the wall. I wish we had walls big enough to do that at home! Reservations are recommended.
