There fancier Italian restaurants around, but Maggiano’s is our go to restaurant for VERY GOOD Italian food every week. The portions are enormous, which makes for awesome take home and eat more later bags, and the food is on point. The servers are ALL super nice and we never had a bad experience there - and we go a lot! They serve brunch as well. Ah, all pastas are excellent - a given in a good Italian restaurant - but do yourself a favor and try the rib-eye steak. It’s better than many steakhouses. There’s also a pasta menu which let’s you pick one to eat at the restaurant and choose another to take home for free!!

Bad American Italian food Poor quality Poor ingredients Like bad food at Disneyland Great location Great valet parking

Our waiter, Moose, took good care of us as we warmed up after an open air tour. Food was plentiful and delicious.

Good quality food, good service. We found it a little hard to find, but we're glad we persevered! Highly recommended.

Maggiano's was recommended because my son has some very strict dietary limitations due to an autoimmune condition. When he told our waiter those limitations a chef came to our table to discuss the issues. The chef was VERY sensitive and accommodating. We were able to enjoy our meal without any fear of consequences or illness. I will definitely dine here again. To be able to dine out without worry was such a treat. The food was delicious.

Had dinner here last week and the service and food were excellent. Had angel hair with vegetables and spaghetti with meatballs. Loved both. We tried the new dessert for the month of September an Italian cream coconut cake. It was very rich and delicious. I'm at fan of another's desserts but this one beats any of the competition. I hope it becomes part of the menu going forward

Arrived solo for lunch sat a bar, was greeted by bartender immediately ordered traditional Spaghetti with Meatball. Had a couple pieces of delicious bread that I dipped in the offered olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My spaghetti was delivered a few minutes ago. It was amazing. Now I am Italian dating back to the 1500's and my love for amazing pastas is deep in my roots. This was so impressive I am still thinking it about it today planning to visit the in Orlando near where I live. You will not be disappointed. Not sure if is was just the day I was there but I received a take one home of my choice the day I was there. Nice touch.

We order family style [7 of us in our table] bit disapointed because it wasn't as it used to be. Or waiter serve one of us the wrong drink [his excuse "the name of your drink was change in here"] basically slow serving, food was sort of room temperature [we wanted at least warm, we asked to box what we didn't touch [not all was done]

Ate dinner on a Friday evening during holiday season to take in the lights and excitement of the holidays at the Grove. I would recommend making a reservation since this is a very busy place. Food was wonderful as always and service prompt and efficient. Make sure you come with an appetite you won't be disappointed. My only negative is we don't live close to any of their locations and make a point to visit when traveling and in turn are not able to,benefit,by the free take home meals. Wish they would have a provision for diners like us who do not take the free meals to donate those meals to a shelter on a regular schedule??

The food was good, the service was exemplary. We ordered off of the Family style menu, an appetizer, two salad choices and two pasta choices (the signature rigatoni "D" and four cheese ravioli. The servings were ample, the pasta was "al dente" what more could you ask for? The 60th wedding anniversary honorees were treated like royalty. Maggiano's made this special family event feel, well, special. Our group had ages 5 - 80. All were well cared for. Well earned kudos for handling a large group with ease.

Always always great food but be careful as their portions are huge...right outside Farmers Market soyou can stroll around after dinner...great waitstaff...

Arrived on a Saturday at 11:30am. We had a reservation, but we were also the first ones at the restaurant. Our server made a recommendation not to order the fish, which was a good idea. My 8 year old son had a child's portion spaghetti and meatballs. The portion was huge! I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich. It came with fried potatoes and a Caesar salad. I liked the crispy bread. My wife had the chicken Parmesan. The portion was large and tasted good. The server brought out a complimentary dessert of cookies for my wife's birthday. Complimentary bread was served warm. Our server was nice and checked on us often. Maggiano's validates parking. Definitely will come back.

We have come here when we want a nice Italian meal with a huge amount of selection... The vibe: Classic Italian ambiance, restaurant is clean, but it doesn't stop us from getting a meal for takeout, when my husband, Omid Moradshahi, and I don't want to dirty the kitchen. The restaurant is quite spacious and the bar area is very nice. Food: The problem is there are so many things that are always a hit here.. When dining in, Omid Moradshahi and I love the prime rib (please don't get it cooked anywhere past medium rare). The salmon was great, but we would tend to get other items that are a better value. The Chicken and spinach manicotti is absolutely tasty and cooked perfectly! The Calamari Fritte is also excellent (something that has been hit or miss at other places). Omid Moradshahi and I love the lasagna too! As you can tell, too many great things on this menu! Special Occasions: My husband, Omid Moradshahi, and I love bringing people here for special occasions. They really do it up right. The desserts are great if you have room after their big plates! -Marjaneh Moradshahi

Oh my, my, decided to eat here with my teen son and glad I did. Service was excellent as seems to be case in Cali, and food was absolutely delicious. Portions are huge, they give you box for food left over, but flavour of food is really good, their own take on Sangria is also great. Would not hesitate to go back if ever in town.

We went to Maggiano's after attending an event at the CBS Studios, we turned up as a party of 5. Our server was Dean, he was great! Four of us had the 2 person meal deal, with 2 meals to take home; great tasting food, good portion sizes and definitely value for money.

I was concerned about getting a safe meal at an Italian restaurant. The chef spoke directly with me assuring me that safe practice in the kitchen would provide me with a great meal that would not harm me. That was true! Our server was delightfully attentive. Some of the entrees provided a choice of a second entree to take home. Great value! Everyone in our group of seven were delighted with their choices and these diners are very particular.

We had lunch while waiting to go on a tour and the waiter was very attentive and the food was great! Food was fresh and the atmosphere/decor was nice. A little Italian music playing in the background would have been perfect. I would eat here again when I return to the area.

We were celebrating my nephew's high school graduation, so we had an early dinner. The service was great, and I ordered a featured entree and got another for free. There were six in our party, and we all enjoyed our food!

WOW! What a setting and great staff. Warm welcome and quick seating. Making a choice for gluten free options. Chicken Piccata was my choice from the Menu. I also had the mashed potato. Yum! Yum! Loved the meal and had a couple of photos to add. The Creme Brulee was absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We get family style usually so we knew what to expect. The waitress was excellent and we got our food in a quick pace. Everything turned out great!

Celebrating a special occasion made this restaurant a perfect place to be. Romantic is the way it made us feel and the server was very attentive. The ravioli was very good as was the spaghetti. The eggplant parmesan was very good as well. The wine was a nice touch to the meal and the cherry on top was the best cheesecake I have had in years! The Grove offers plenty of paid parking or you can have your car valet parked.

My sister held her reception at one of the upstairs rooms, and the quality of service was just outstanding. Her guests were happy with the prompt service and attention to detail during the event. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

A great place for lunch or a snack. Every kind of food you can think of and the prices are very reasonable. Lots of areas for sitting and eating and the entire area is under cover. I suggest walking around and seeing everything before making a selection.

We had a group reservation of about 50 people. We were served lunch family style. The food kept coming everything that was brought out was amazing. The salad, sausage and peppers, calamari, pork loin with garlic mashed potatoes, salmon, lasagna and dessert everything was simply delicious. We had a wonderful lunch after our tour. The staff was wonderful.

Had a very welcoming dinner tonight, a salad and chicken pasta with brushetta for a entree. We were served by Eric who was every knowledgeable and curtious, would definitely recommend and will be coming back when next in LA

I came here with family, we wanted a nice place and near my hotel, so we chose Maggiano´s, we were nicely greeted, we had a good table and a good waiter, we had nice dishes, and very big, so get ready or come hungry, I was and my linguini with sea food was excellent, prices were reasonable....the only issue is that the other tables were a bit noisy, but that is all

Our party of 7 called ahead and made reservations when we arrived we used valet parking which was polite and prompt. We were seated immediately and at round table which seemed a little cramped for our party size. Our server and service was excellent. My husband and I ordered the chicken parm and baked ziti and it was very tasty. There was a young lady who stopped by to snap a group picture of our party which was complimentary and was the perfect touch for our night. All in all this is an excellent family setting and I would visit again.

This place is an average Italian food. I don't recommend this place for date , however if you go with friends or family is really fun. Make sure order family menu. Is really worth it. Meat sauce is awsome

We had tickets to a show at CBS studios nearby and hadn't eaten all day. We stopped in Maggiano's for a quick lunch. I didn't realize how pressed for time we were. Mentioned it to the server and they went out of their way to get our meals to us. And quality was not compromised in any way. The entire staff is exceptional.

We went to Maggiano's to celebrate the college graduation of my son with friends and family. This was my first time to visit the restaurant. I was totally amazed with the service and the wait staff. It reminded me of my trip to Rome in 2010. The food was excellent with the Italian favor that I enjoyed during my stay in Rome. I will recommend Maggiano's to other friends and relatives who did not attend. It's a great place to dine and get a real taste of Italy. The ambience is so Italian. It makes you feel like that you are in Roma. I will be going back. They also provide catering.

Our visit to the Grove was made especially great by this restaurant! Family friendly, vegetarian options, cost appropriate... They treat you like family... Even send home food with you :) can't say I love it enough... The food was so good!

Had dined at Maggiano’s before on previous visits to the US so was quite looking forward to a massive portion of food and an enjoyable evening with the wife. Food was decent - big portions and pretty tasty (although I do have to say the wife’s Diavalo sauce was about as spicy as a vanilla milkshake). Service was terrible. Our server (Joel) obviously took a dislike to us from the moment we walked in the place. I suspect it’s probably because I have arm tattoos (which I might add are tasteful and not offensive) as half the staff seemed to be staring at me (in some cases with mouth wide open). Id also probably point out that despite my apparently shocking body art that in my day job I’m a respectable doctor (MD) and look more like a geeky hipster than a gangbanger or biker. Both myself and my wife were otherwise smartly dressed (myself in a shirt and pants) compared to some other diners who seems to be wearing sports wear, baseball caps and vests, so it’s hardly like we were bringing down the vibe. Given we are in LA and not the Bible Belt (especially when I’ve seen Kat Von D’s tattooed face on multiple billboards around the city) I expect people to somewhat more progressive and modern. Or even if you do hate tattoos and think tattooed people are scum at least fake it - we are paying you to provide service! Joel neglected to bring my wife’s drink when mine arrived - and given he completely avoided our table I had to actually go and find him and ask for it. His response was “did I forget that? Are you sure?” rather than “sorry I’ll bring that right over”. Just found this a little odd and his manner to be somewhat hostile. I’m pretty sure I’m not in the business of lying about receiving sodas. Once our food arrived (practically thrown onto table by a different server) we were ignored for the rest of the meal - almost to the point of becoming farcical. Our finished dishes were left on our table for about 20 mins despite glances from staff who could clearly tell we were finished. No offers for further drinks or refills during meal. I had to flag down a waiter to get my plates cleared and the bill (not Joel - as he had decided to stand at the service station on the other side of the room rather than come over) I’ll also note that everyone in the restaurant seemed to have their leftovers boxed up for them by the kitchen. I had a bag and a tray dumped on table and was left to do it myself. Again not the biggest deal in the world - but makes you feel a bit unwelcome. Paid and left the bare minimum tip - as Joel may be rude but I am not that pathetic to leave nothing. Icing on the cake - on the way out the hostess barely looked up as we left (too busy texting on her cell phone to care). Overall a shocking night. Given the US does service so well the majority of the time it’s even more apparent when bad service is given. I personally won’t be returning to a Maggianos as I am clearly not welcome. I will tell my friends to avoid the place, and suggest that any of my fellow tattooed trip advisor users do the same.

We had booked a table via opentable. The waiter found our reservation immediately and we were seated fast. The waiter was friendly and followed our table very well. We tried the dinner for two offer and the food was served fast and was tasty. The calamari was good and the lasagna AS well. We shared a creme brulee which was prepareres on advance and did not have the hot caramel at the top. Childrens menu was good and our daughter was happy. The dinner for two offer included two pastas to go - so the lunch next day is in the fridge. A litt,e bit noisy in the restaurant but not a problem. We parked in the parking lot a the grove which was close nearby. Good value for money and will recommend this restaurant to others.

Had a reservation for dinner with my 2 kids . The check in was the worst part - had to wait about 15 minutes past my reservation time which is not easy with the kids . Finally got seated and food came quickly and the kids enjoyed it . I was in and out and we were satisfied . Even had the leftovers the next day for lunch . Good option around the grove as most restaurants are not too kid friendly . Price wasn't crazy either .

We were invited to a dinner celebration for our friend's 40th wedding anniversary at Maggiano's at The Grove. There is convenient valet parking (which will cost you $12 with validation). The dinner was upstairs in a nice dining hall that comfortably accommodated 8 large tables with plenty of space. The room is nicely decorated and lit with grand chandeliers. They had a nice bar service and also have AV capabilities for PA and Video presentations. The food was good, although not really outstanding, but acceptable; however, the linguine with clams was very good. The service was very good as they refilled drinks without asking and were helpful. A nice place to celebrate.

I'm afraid the freshness and hand-cut pasta may have ruined us from enjoying Italian food anywhere else. I highly recommend the the "Lighter" version of the chicken Alfredo.

Maggianos is the perfect place for safe, serviceable Italian food, particularly pasta, that no one will hate. The place has a nice vibe and does big groups well. Lots of menu choices but nothing that will surprise and delight you. Big family dinner? Little kids and elderly grandparents? Slam dunk. Business dinner with sophisticated eaters? Go someplace else.

Service, food , ambience and area...this says it all! It's close to Hollywood. The restaurant ambience is very nice, upscale and has a grand piano and an outside fountain. They serve delicious Italian dishes and I recommend their Spumone for dessert. And... the service is excellent!

We have now visited Maggiano's four times while visiting the Los Angeles area. The food has been very good and with a number of entrees there is the option for a take-home entree to go with it. Can't beat it for the price. There's also a specially-priced meal for two that includes two salads, two entrees for there, two entrees for home, and a dessert to split. The tiramisu is fantastic. They also have Peroni beer on tap so they had me fro the minute I walked in.

First, the pianist.who serenades us as we walk in the door. Sets the mood nicely! Then the waiters. They are so accommodating! Give good suggestions. Then the food - big portions, good flavor, lots of choices, scratch kitchen, and if you order the classic dishes, you can get a second classic dish to take home - no extra charge! What's not to like??

We love every Maggiano's in which we have dined. It is a spacious family restaurant, and has a wonderful selection of Italian food. We have met friends at Maggiano's on several occasions. I always order the two entrees for the the price of one. This time I ate the Braised Beef al Forno in the restaurant. It was fabulous. My take home item was Mom's Lasagna. My wife had the salmon salad which was also very good. The coffee was not very strong. I asked them to add a shot of expresso and to make sure it was very hot.

Amazing sizes of portions, yummy Bruschetta and pasta (like Grandma made it!), and friendly staff make this a should-go in the Grove.

We came in for lunch while visiting from the southeast. The waiter was EXCELLENT. We ordered the seafood and linguini noodles. It was HUGE. Fabulous service, ambiance, food and the price..... Fabulous too.... Great experience in LA.

We made a reservation on Open Table which was convenient but the directions that opened in Maps directed us to the opposite side of The Grove so I wouldn’t recommend using it. After arriving 10 min late, we were quickly seated. The bread was warm and the portions were huge. Service was great even though the restaurant was fully packed. Highly recommend!

We went in and ordered chicken parmigiana, and eggplant parmigiana, and one salad. We went in around noon. The total before tip was $47.07. I have a lunch budget of $50, so it did not leave much for a tip! The food is good here but the prices are way too high!

In my opinion, Maggiano’s is one of the best chain restaurants around. My wife and I have dined at Maggiano’s in Atlanta and here in LA and thoroughly enjoy eating at their establishments. The food quality is very good, service is very good and the value for your money is amazing. The best deal is the pick one, get two deal. You buy a meal that you eat while you’re there and you get to pick from a short list from the same group of options that you take home for a second meal. Amazing deal! Their family meal’s are another spectacular value. You get a huge choice of two appetizers, two pastas, two entrees and a dessert. Great for a large group. I highly recommend Maggiano’s.

We were here with a group of 20 for a friend's birthday. I hadn't eaten here before, but had heard good things. WOW were we disappointed. First, they somehow managed to take drink orders, bring bread and water to exactly one half of the group (we were all sitting at one very long table, so let's call them the "far end"), while completely ignoring our end of the table for a good 20 minutes. Took appetizer orders for the far end, brought wine, water, bread... and we were literally ignored. This was the SAME table! It was a constant battle to get them to do anything for us. We ordered family-style, and when the food came, my wife and I both were shocked at the lack of quality. The chicken picatta (normally a favorite when we go to Bucca), was thin, dry, and flavorless. The parm was soggy and disgusting. We actually went and got food after this dinner was over, because neither of us could eat more than a nibble or two of the food, and between that and the inexcusably bad service, this was just terrible.

Super nice ambiance, excellent food and service. It you live in LA, you can take advantage of the free pasta to go with entree purchase.

Met some friends I haven't seen in 2 yrs. I have eaten and thrown client events in maggianos in south Florida. This place was not good. Service was so so. I have the lighter side chicken Marsala which was dry and the linguini was extremely doughy. If I were you I would skip this place and go find a nice Italian restaurant.

We had a nice dinner. It was close to our hotel and the Grove. Food was good, but nothing special. There was no wait so it was a good choice for us.

Took my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. She loved her lasagna and my mushroom ravioli was really good too. Great service! They even brought her lemon cookies with candles in them!

This is our second year attending a holiday gathering here and I did want to acknowledge that they really are consistent in what they do. It’s not gourmet cuisine, but the people are friendly and if you are in the mood for unlimited portions of reasonably priced good but not great Italian food in this area, this may be a good choice for you.

We went for a 50 Wedding Anniversary of some close friends. We were excited because we have never been and we had a great time. Maggiano's put on a nice spread of Fried Calamari, Spinach salad, Chicken Parmesan, Tilapia Parmesan. A very nice meal with friends and a fantastic restaurant experience at a great place!

Though this is not my first time at Maggiano's, it is the first time in over 15 years at this location. What an amazing restaurant with delicious fresh food and exceptional service. Very energetic and friendly staff centrally located in a lively area (The Grove/Farmer's Market). To begin, the food is a highlight with the calamari cooked perfectly where the squid is not chewy and the breading not overly greasy. The spaghetti and meatballs is far from being standard and stands out with an amazing tasting sauce that is not overly garlicy and the meatball have perfect firm but not hard texture. The only thing that tops the food is the service where the host greet you with a big smile and maintain eye contact. The server constantly checks on you without being disruptive and makes sure you are never waiting long. The interior is beautifully lit in warm colors and the outdoor seating is very inviting. Overall, an excellent restaurant with exceptional food and service! We look forward to visiting in the near future! Thank you Maggiano's! Please note: call about parking since there are two nearby lots and they only validate for one.

While in the area, we decided to have dinner at Maggiano's Farmers Market. The service and food were great.

Several former First Interstate Bank colleagues gathered at Maggiano's in L.A. - it is part of the Grove development near Farmer's Market. Great Menu and wine list. we started in the Bar, and enjoyed a sample plate of bruschetta with a glass of wine. then we all gathered in the dining room - and enjoyed jour food and conversation. i had the Veal Picatta which was the best ever. Service was efficient, there when we needed them, and not intrusive.

This restaurant has nice party rooms on 1st Floor or outdoor, while the restaurant has rooms for nice family meals. Service is warm and prompt and food is good. We tried Stuffed Mushrooms, Margarita Flatbread as starters and liked. Among mains we liked Chicken Marsala and crab preparations most.It is definitely value for money restaurant. They also offer good family meal options which is highly recommended.

Had the most Amazing experience at Maggianos by the grove. We had a group of 55 of top sales advisors in their private dining room which also has a beautiful terrace/balcony. Everyone was Amazed with the food and service. I must say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to Sal and Linc from the sales banqueting team.

We were a party of 7 celebrating a Birthday, we ordered Family Style. Bread, Italian salad, Mussels, Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmesan and Salmon with Lemon and Herbs. For dessert we had Apple Crisp a la Mode and Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious and we were able to take home items we ordered. We brought a Birthday cake and they were kind to put it in the refrigerator for us till we were finished with our meal. Our Server Da'Nay was exceptional in accommodating each of us, she was courteous and professional in complying with our asking and needs. For two, the price with tip was less than $100, and we brought home food to enjoy at home. We will recommend and be a patron to your establishment.

LA is an expensive city. This restaurant offers good food for reasonable prices. I would say that it has a good taste/price value when compared to its rivals. The courses are big. The only thing is most of the food is too spicy for my liking but if you like spicy go for it!

What a hidden gem at the Farmers Market. Semi fine dining and great for families, couples or just a get together. We found the owner was very accommodating to our family and when our phone went flat the bar staff pulled out their personal charger and charged our phone ! The manager allowed our older children to entertain us at piano in the bar what a nice guy! The food was delicious and generous and was very New York Italian in flavor. Great service and prices were very reasonable and the food quality was outstanding. The setting is great and caters for couples or fine dining table or a booth in the bar area if you want to be a bit louder ! Perfect

I prefer vegan food and was facing lot of issues at various places to try italian food....this places is a heaven for vegan population.....loved their soups and pizza...must visit....but the places is expensive and it hit your pockets....

Maggiano's is good, not over-priced, and serves large portions. There are, however, easier locations of the chain to visit than the one at the Farmer's Market. Parking is an issue here.

have been to other of this high end chain and have always liked them if you have 4 or more be sure to go with family style no one goes home hungry and the platters are bottomless we had a really nice waiter who made things user friendly

Formerly, Maggiano's was renown for its great taste and generous portions. After the restaurant chain changed hands, though, they started skimping on quality and quantity. For example, if you greatly reduce the quantity of meat in the meat sauce of "Mom's Lasagna," it becomes an entirely different dish. If you cut the portion size to less than half, it's not that great of a value. Maggiano's must think we are stupid. They went from gourmet taste at moderate prices to TV dinner taste at high prices for the small portion size. Best advice: go to your neighborhood hole in the wall family Italian restaurant instead. P.S. And this Farmer's Market/The Grove location also lets it valets park their cars in the handicap spaces next to the restaurant for the convenience of the valets and the inconvenience of patrons who would use those parking spaces.

Food was very good as was the service. A very well run chain. Excellent location at the Farmer's Market

As we walked in to a big empty room we knew we had made a mistake but the waiter said they were a scratch kitchen so we thought at least all the food would be nice and fresh . I had the shrimp scampi and it was awful the pasta was over cooked and the scampi were so rubbery they would have bounced. We have been coming to the USA for 2 weeks for the past 7 years and eat out at least twice a day over the 14 days . This is my first bad review as the meal was so disappointing and bad . I don't understand where all the great reviews come from sorry .

Our meal here was very disappointing. We did have decent service but other than that there was nothing to particularly praise. The food portions are off puttingly large and I found my meal to be over salted. The ambience of the restaurant, although in a lovely building, is not very warm. Overall it lacked the feeling of being a proper Italian restaurant. It was also expensive for the quality of the experience.

I had made reservations but unfortunately i had to cancel due to a family emergency. Came here on 4th of July when they closed early with a party of 9 and they were able to accommodate us all. Our server "Shelby" was by far the friendliest server we had during our L.A vacation! She was super patient and checked on us so often. We actually thought she would not be too happy that a party of 9 came in at the last minute but we were wrong! She was super nice and you can sense her positive attitude! Would definitely go back and have her attend us again! =D

I had been to the restaurant awhile ago, so when someone in our office suggested we order for delivery from them, it seemed like a good idea. We placed lunch orders for four people, and every one was unhappy with their meal. Two people had their orders taken incorrectly as far as the size, which would fall on the person who took the order at the restaurant, but the kitchen was at fault for the poor food The angel hair pasta came congealed in one big clump. Don't think we'll order for delivery from them again.

I had forgotten how wonderful Maggiano's is. But we were at the Grove, it was "almost" dinner time, and it was New Years Day. I figured we'd have a huge wait - but we were there early enough that we got right in! The waiter was wonderful; the soft, fragrant bread was served wtih olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Coppola Rosso was a (very) happy hour $5.00 a glass, and Italian specialties made choices quite difficult. My linguini clams was very good - and very big! I took half home. Joey chose the Mama's lasagna that he also was unable to finish, and Maggiano's has a special deal that if you order one of a certain list of dishes you can take another serving of it home with you - so the Mama's lasagna (which is huge) makes for another meal for the two of us! We couldn't even contemplate dessert ....

The Service: The host, our server and busboy are so sweet. Very attentive service. Absolutely pleasant dining experience. The Food: Steamed Mussels Tuscan Style - Prince Edward Island Mussels tossed with a white wine sauce, cannellini beans, and sun-dried tomatoes, finished with lemon and roasted garlic. (HUGE bowl of mussels!!! Love the sauce~) Taylor Street Baked Ziti - Italian sausage, pomodoro sauce and ziti topped with a layer of melted Provolone and Parmesan. (very generous portion, the pasta is very authentic, lots sausage. Since it is under "Classic Pasta", we get to take home another order for FREE!!!) Linguine & Clams with Red Clam Sauce - Linguine tossed with fresh clams, basil and tomatoes, served in a red clam sauce. (Clams are very fresh, generous portion of linguine) Now they are running promotion of order one Classic Pasta and bring home another one FREE. And Dinner for Two for $39.99 (one appetizer, two pastas and one dessert..... plus take home TWO pasta for FREE!!!) What an amazing deal~

We were celebrating my niece's wedding when we went to Maggiano's at the Farmer's Market in Los Angleles. Our table was ready when we got there. Service was great, and the food was plentiful and tasty. Their family style dinner selection ensured that everybody had a choice of what they wanted, and that there was more than enough. As an added bonus, we were able to take food home. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for large groups.

Maggiano's in the Grove is a very good chain restaurant. It is far better than other chains like Olive Garden.

I just walked in, choosing Maggiano's out of a few places in the Farmers market, and it was a good choice, we got a nice seat in a booth, so we could see the rest of the restaurante and a few things and recommendations to make. First, the service team is very good, they explain nicely about the menu, and are very quick, the drinks come very fast, and the food as well, the calamari for starters was a very good plate, and not for one person.....and second course, we tood each one plate and they were in fact for two, be noticed about it, portions are huge, and when you do not live here, nowhere to take that food. At the end our server brought us a nice and complimentary dessert, a nice cupcake.....all in all, a place to return and visit, and just order little as the portions are huge.

Birthday dinner last night- packed place with tourists and local families. Calamari appetizer good. Server friendly and available. Good: My salmon was average , over cooked drowned in oily sauce. Spinach kind of inedible. Side pasta w marinara arrived lukewarm. Birthday guest food arrived 10 minutes after everyone else. His meal adequate. Birthday moment -kind of meh. They decorate a pasta plate with chocolate icing and serve 6 lemon cookies somehow with 1 candle . Waiter doesn’t stay to sing. Nobody else does either. They drop it off and go. Place is giant factory of celebrations. Go if you must, we had fun, but the food was average at best.

We had dinner at Maggiano's in the Farmer's Market while on vacation in Los Angeles. While the food was fine, service was mediocre. We needed to catch our waiter's attention a couple of times just to get the basics, such as placing our order after waiting 10 minutes (the restaurant was not busy). But it was another member of the wait staff who, upon delivering our salads and hearing my request for an extra plate, rolled his eyes. He brought the plate, but we'd never recommend this particular Maggiano's location. No excuse for rudeness.

We met some friends that we hadn't seen for a long time at Maggiano's Little Italy, and were really impressed with the service. Our waiter was fine to leave us chat for a long time and didn't press to get our order through quickly. The chef even came out and asked us to taste one of his new creations (which was delicious!). The prices were great- the serving sizes were large and we even got a pasta to go with each of our meals- as a gift! This paired with the pianist playing a mix of classic and modern day hits made for a great night out! I would recommend you visit if you're in the area.

My wedding reception was held here at the Team Captain did an excellent job with making sure everything was in place for my event. I booked everything over the phone because I was actually living in Virginia but hosting my event in California.

We eating there with my family. My son (10) has eating the Kids Menu with the Bread Pizza. He was vary happy about it. I toke the Gnocchi and my wife fettuccine Alfredo. Both was fine and delicious. You have to go there for Italian food.

This is a very large Italian restaurant in The Grove, right next to the Farmers' Market in LA. I believe it is part of a chain. The restaurant itself is quite attractive...lots of wood, white tablecloths over red and white checked tablecloths, etc. The food is pretty standard, and pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant that must serve hundreds of meals a day...it is pretty good, but not special. Certainly not gourmet Italian cooking. The portions are large. Service was friendly and if anything, too efficient. Our appetizers arrived before we were halfway through our pre-dinner drinks, and our main courses arrived before we were halfway through our appetizers. But our waitress was friendly, chatty, and extremely attentive. At least based on what I saw on TripAdvisor, this may be the best choice in this area.

after driving from Las Vegas to L.A., we got to our hotel quite late in the evening. Around 8:45 PM we were ready to have dinner, and asked for recommendations to our hotel staff. They pointed us Maggiano's as a good option since their kitchen was supossed to close at 10PM. Got at the restaurant a few minutes later (we were like 2 blocks away), asked for a table for 10 and were told it could take 10 minutes. We said OK and instalntly got the menus to "speed up ordering as kitchen was almost closed (9PM)" which is not really nice from a service standpoint but since we were tired and hungry didn't seemed bad at all. 15 minutes later, still waiting standing at the hallway, we saw someone resembling like a shift manager or alike to come downstairs and tell the person at the reception something in low voice. This latter person then informed us that they could only accept us in separate tables and that we also had to choose from a fixed-options menu as parties of 6 or more were handled that way. I have to say that I have been to other Maggiano's in the past and never heard of such a policy ... we obviously left and got to the BBQ place next door where we were served wonderfully. Stay away from this place, at least as long as they continue working is such a customer-unfocused manner.

We experienced chaotic service at this location. Here were the problems we had: 1)We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated when we had made a reservation 2 days before ; 2) We received no wine list and had to wait for the waiter to get one; 3) No butter was provided with the bread service; 4) No salads plates were provided with a family-style salad portion; 5) we watched a staff member lift a chair over our waiters head as he attempted to pour our wine; 6) I had a staff member accidentally shove a plate in my back while I was walking to the rest room...he was walking that close to me; 7) as I was walking away from my table, another server tripped me...again following so close behind me; 8) the tables were arranged so close together that it was impossible for an elderly lady using a walker to exit the dining room without me getting out of my chair and moving out of her way (which I was happy to do for her...but the restaurant’s table arrangement layout was ridiculous); 9) Our parking validation provided no discount at the parking garage; 10) Our call to complain to the manager was met with rude indifference (her name is Kelly Brewer). We have dined at other Maggiano’s locations in the past and were deeply disappointed at this dining experience. We recognize that this is not a fine dining establishment, but this chaotic service was totally unacceptable. The food was okay, so there was that.

We dined here for dinner. When you first walk in there is a pianist playing music in the background. We were shown to our table after waiting for only a couple of minutes, sadly once we were seated we could not hear the pianist over the loud chatter within the restaurant. This is a very large restaurant but our table service could not be faulted. Our meals came out in a timely manner and were delicious. The portion sizes are rather large. I could not finish mine. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Nice atmosphere, especially for large group of family or friends. Fun place. Has it all! Great food. I recommend the filet mignon with asparagus. Lunch, dinner, dessert. Highly recommend this place. For drinks, business outing with associates, for weddings - super experience. For gathering with family. Can't beat this place.

Ate their on a Friday night during a layover when I visited a university buddy. The pasta dishes were excellent as was the service.

Visited Maggiano's as part of a group, so menu was pre-selected and served family style. Everything sampled was excellent and food service was good.

The ambiance was wonderful. Great service and food. However this location has been permanently closed. Try the one in Costa Mesa or Woodland Hills.

Really good family style Italian food. Lots of tradition dishes, good bread and salad selection too. They also offer a "take one home" for no additional charge on a limited number of entrees, all good. I think it's a good value for family diners and get togethers.

Needed a place for a quick business lunch but needed good and filling food after long flights to LA. They promised and delivered. Efficient service. Wholesome Italian standards and comfortable room to work. Nothing surprising but that is what we wanted. Home style cooking. It fit the bill.

Maggiano's Little Italy at the Grove is a winner... We went early and got a table easily, service was friendly, helpful and speedy. The menu has all of the expected dishes and we loved the food. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional New York family restaurant and has a great feel to it. We will certainly be back for more.

The restaurant has a nice Italian like atmosphere. The food was great! We had a great time and enjoyed our meal in this lovely place. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great place to have a family meal with young kids. Lots to choose from and food was standard Italian pasta. Our servers were friendly and service was quick. When I ordered my pasta, I was shocked when the waitress asked which dish I'd like as my 2nd take-home dish (it was a buy one-get one free to take home). Large portions.

I really like going to this Magliano's. I always get the same thing, Caesar salad and the flatbreads that are on their happy hour menu. (Really nice happy hour prices, but I wish the it ran until 7:00) Always great, the Caesar dressing is very creamy and garlicky with the perfect amount of anchovy flavor. The bread they bring to the table is delicious. Their pastas are good too, and they make a respectable meatball. Service is generally between pretty good and very good. Visiting the Grove always presents a certain amount of negotiating, especially on weekends or around the holidays, but it's worth the trip.

We came here for dinner and were quite disappointed. Considering its location, we hoped we will for sure enjoy our meals. However, we were wrong. Restaurant is huge and quite outdated. It look almost like a wedding salon. Service was ok. Neither bad nor good. Food fit into a restaurant's description. Outdated with no taste. We never came back here. There are much better places around.

Maggiano’s is extraordinary! It features delicious Italian dishes for all tastes. Whether you like seafood, meat, pasta or just salad - you are well covered! Had Tomato Caprese as a starter, followed by Chopped Salad (as entree) and Linguine di Mare. We paired the food with Francis Coppola Pinot Noir Diamond Collection. Highly recommended!

Great service and very tasty food in a family-friendly environment. Wait staff are friendly and helpful. Big portions of food; tasty and save room for dessert.

You get large size portions. They even have an offer that you buy one entree and get to take an order of pasta of your choice to go. This is great if you have a refrigerator and microwave in your room. Also take a free set of pictures. You can purchase larger ones, but the ones they take are really free.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. We wanted somewhere nice and I had been to the one in Boston and loved it. This was wonderful. We had a large group and everyone loved all the different dishes that were tried. Cannot wait to return!

This restaurant has excellent, top notch meals, served with ample portions. Exceptional service and great overall ambiance make this a highly recommended dining experience!

My husband and I really like this restaurant. It is a part of a small chain, and I haven't been to others, but in L.A., it's the kind of place that big families have celebrations and couples share a glass of champagne in a corner. Many happy faces, well-trained staff--and very cheery and helpful, and a family atmosphere. I'm a great fan of their pasta with meat sauce and meatball (one huge ). We love their whole chicken, which may be a special right now. My husband loves their lasagna. One fun feature: if you buy one of the favorite pasta dishes for dinner, they'll give you another complete serving of your choice of any of the other favorites to take home (free!). Salad choices are quite nice and unusual. Limited wine list, but pretty good. Their prosecco good (and I became a prosecco fan on several trips around Italy). Great desserts--a very light cheese cake is my personal fave. My husband just had cannoli cake, which is a huge multi-layered light chocolate cake with a cannoli filling frosting. He had to take more than half of it home.

Restaurants in America are pretty amazing but this restaurant is a cut above. Being December the whole restaurant was tastefully decorated. We went to a rehearsal dinner there which was held in one to the side reception rooms. Copious amounts of food were provided ... and they just kept bringing more. I was most impressed with the character and decor of the restaurant and corridors. All wood panelled and chandeliers. The restrooms were accessible and beautifully finished off with marble and even chandeliers.

Very nice restaurant and the foods are really delicious. I ate eggplant&parmesan spagetti and cesar salad, all were good. David is also very kind, professional and helpful. I reccomend Maggiano.

Have been to three Maggianos for an evening out, so far: Vegas, San Jose, and now this one in the upscale "The Grove" shopping center of Beverly Hills. Gave the venue and the evening 4 Stars tonight based on some flawed service and food that had to be sent back. I suppose we should have known better, but it was a tremendously busy night at The Grove, and Maggianos reflected the crowds in kind. The place was packed. You CAN make reservations, and we recommend reservations no less than a day in advance, more if you can for weekends and holidays. The specialty bar drinks are great, and my favorite (at home or here) is the G & T, which is simply a Hendricks Gin & Fever Tree Tonic. $10, but hey.... Parking at this venue is a challenge, but The Grove is served by large parking garages and there are Valets at the restaurant. The food: I ordered the center cut filet which was excellently prepared and delicious. Other half ordered the evening special - Butternut Squash Gnocci. Unfortunately, we had to send that back because it was way too salty, and the salt-taste drowned out anything else. She ordered the filet instead, which arrived in about 15 long minutes. Water was slow to refill, but the waiter was gracious and as attentive as he could be, but he was busy. The venue, a tent-like structure attached to the main building, was closed up against the cooler weather, but very noisy with several large and loud groups inside, with one or two wedding receptions in the upstairs part of the main building. Overall Maggianos is a great place to visit and dine. It is nicely appointed, and has great bar service, but just beware of the crowds and noise, and don't be afraid to critique your food.

I was very disappointed in the veal Parmesan; the breeding had mostly slid off the meat before it was brought to me. And the meat was tough and grisly. I have had veal Parmesan many times in a restaurant in my small home town that was worlds better than what I got at Maggiano's. I also would have much preferred a side salad with my meal instead of the bowl of spaghetti that was the only side dish offered with the veal. I didn't even touch the spaghetti. Our waiter stopped by the table fairly often, but did most of the talking himself, so we hardly had a chance to ask questions or make comments. I was not impressed with this place at all.

Service was not good. We had four children with us. Their meals came out a different times leaving two hungry and grumpy children as the other two ate. The four adult dinners came out after the kids meals. When I asked for Parmesan cheese the waiter said in a bit of exasperation "Give me a minute " and then never appeared with the cheese. He never asked if we'd like a second glass of wine and at dessert never asked me if I'd like dessert only the kids and two adults that had the special. The marinara sauce tasted like bland sauce from a jar. The kids flatbread pizza was bland. Not a highly recommended place for Italian food.

Went for my daughter's 18th birthday. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Very friendly host greeted us at the front. Charming atmosphere with old pictures hung on the wall and Frank Sinatra crooning in the background. Our waiter, who was fro Cleveland, was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the different dishes. My son has a gluten allergy and he handled that superbly. The portions were large and tasted great. A few in our party got a second portion packaged up to eat the following day. I had clam linguini. There were so many clams that my last few bites were just clams, simply outstanding. We will definitely be back.

We’ve eaten at several Maggiano’s locations on vacation (and business trips) and its consistently great food. This time we had pasta in pesto sauce with chicken meatballs, seafood linguini and chicken Marsala- all excellent. Our waitress had a great personality too - very funny while being attentive to our every need. They validate parking at the Grove. We will be back.

We have eaten at Maggianos in Las vegas & loved it so stopped in for dinner here after a day shopping at the Grove. The restaurant was largely empty for this mid week dinner visit & our waiter was only interested in getting us in & out as fast as possible not even standing there long enough to hear our entire order, walking off while we were still talking then getting the order wrong! We ordered 2 of the most expensive dishes on the menu(our favourite shrimp dishes from vegas) both were cold & sent back to re cook.Goes to show 2 identical restaurants in different locations can be totally opposite. Would not go back to this location again.

We had a very tasteful prosecco, followed by bruschetta. my wife had a caesar salad an for me old fashioned mushroom ravioli. That was perfect!

I'll hand it to them, their food quality is consistently good! My favorite entree is "Mom's Lasagna", and this from someone who has never been a fan of Lasagna— it's that good. Plus, I took home a whole serving of Mom's Lasagna as a bonus. I would leave one note for Management however, Train your Host/Hostess Staff, then train them some more. They are your front-facing representatives of all you wish to stand for. Being met with indifference, gum-smacking staff that just take off (I'm supposed to follow, right?) is hardly a pleasant first impression.

I was expecting this to be more "chain" food, but was pleasantly surprised on the quality. The service was outstanding during our experience.

Maggiano's Little Italy does offer plenty of Italian dishes. They do take reservations, but they are often booked solid -- especially for dinners, and on the weekends.

The food is definitely decent. I've only been here for lunch, never for dinner, but I'm sure it's good in the evening too. But the plce looks out upon pure tranquility.

We went to Maggiano's to celebrate my mother's 91st birthday. My cousins and brother all came to help celebrate. You cannot go wrong going to Maggiano's when you want have alot of people. Their menu is set up for large group as well for just 2. They also have accommodations for large parties (they have an upstairs banquet area). The food is good and will have left overs to take home. I recommend Maggiano's any day.

We had our daughter's baby shower there today. Sal in the catering department was phenomenal! Extremely accommodating, even was able to accommodate one gluten free guest. The wait staff was polite and very good. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the four cheese ravioli... Oh and the chopped and Cesar salad are fabulous.

I have been to Maggiano's twice in the past month. Both times I have enjoyed my dining experience. Overall the food, service and ambience is good. I have tried everything from the wine, cocktails, appetizers, salads and mains. I haven't been able to try the desserts yet because I'm always too full. The servings are generous Italian size so keep that in mind when ordering. I love the charm of this large restaurant. If in the area I would return if in the mood for a good Italian experience.

Was told that this was a good restaurant to go to. To be fair it’s nothing special at all the food is a basic Italian presentation. It all lacks genuine Italian taste and freshness. A dimly lit restaurant which some may like but we didn’t as it felt very old and dated going back 30 years. We spent $180 that evening could have been so much better so came very short in our expectations

Lunch Specials and Menu selections are wide variety and tasty; purchased one and received another free. Italian selections were many and tasty especially the spaghetti with meatballs. Great family restaurant.

I've never had a bad meal at any of their locations. Not only was our food, fresh and out quickly the service was next level, we were totally taken care of. If you haven't, you need to visit this restaurant with a group and for sure order from the Family Style menu - you will never regret it!

We had a great experience here with my daughters. They are both allergic to nuts and one has an additional allergy to sesame. Eating in Los Angeles was hard since they are more about gluten free and vegan than nut free. Maggiano's on the other hand was great! They were even able to have bread and dessert which is so rare with their allergies. Portions are made to bring home which wasn't the best for us since the prices were higher and we didn't have a way to heat in our hotel room. Our waiter was amazing and had asked that and accommodated us! Being from the east coast we didn't love the food since we are used to east coast Italian. We would go back though and try some other dishes since they were amazing with the allergies

Amazing Italian food with wine on a rainy day feels great. We also got clicked by a photographer and then purchased our pics from him.

I really like this place Spaghetti bolonese is awsome. All appetizers are good. Very friendly staff. And you get the best value for your money.

First off, if you are making reservations, always ask for Moose to be your waiter. He is the best person in that restaurant, if you are a return customer, he knows you name, he knows what you drink, as well as what your favorite food there is. Food is always brought out hot, and very good. I have never had any issues with this restaurant.

Came here after loving the maggianos in Vegas.. food was really good, heavy portions. Service absolutely abysmal. Seems my heavily tattoo’d doctor (MD) husband was offensive to staff who couldn’t help but openly stare every time they passed. Not cool for a seemingly progressive American state. Joel forgot my coke and got slightly defensive when asked about it. Joel also let our finished food plates sit on the table in excess of 15 mins, despite seeing us finish multiple times from across the room. Seems Joel couldn’t really be bothered to serve today.. maybe it was just us! I could totally understand the attitude if we came in and just mucked about getting the cheapest thing on the menu. Ah well, stroll on with your $5 tip Joel, and be lucky you got that!

The atmosphere is fair- Not Cozy like smaller Italian Restaurants. The food is good, not great. The chopped salad was a good dish, as were the meatballs in Marinara Sauce. The Angel Hair Pasta was good, but it wasn’t hot enough. To be fair, there were 20 Of us who ordered different things. It’s hard to get everything out at once for a large party.

Maggiano's is an upscale chain, so you get what you'd expect -- a consistent meal that is much better than most Italian restaurants. It's fairly priced and offers a nice selection.

Think fake wooden patina, middle aged male servers with an combover and Perry Como in the speakers 24/7. Not impressed. Nor by the food neither by the service. Server was stressed although the place was almost empty. Food was dull.

New to LA - we found Maggiano's at the Farmers Market and the Grove - had to wait a few minutes as we had not booked - great ambiance good menu and just great. Bottles of wine good but not cheap Very good for families and wedding receptions - every one we go to seems to be celebrating some event....

3.5 stars. My daughter and I had dinner here last night after trick-or-treating at The Grove. We've been here many times in the past and pretty consistent each time. You pretty much know exactly what you're going to get - middle of the road Italian cuisine. Last night we ordered the Marco's meal (which is a great deal as you get 4 pasta dishes, an appetizer, a desert all for $43). Needless to say, we took a lot of food home with us. For the appetizer, we had the fried calamari, which was very tasty but a bit oily and not as crisp as it usually is. For the pastas, we had the meatloaf and the spaghetti and meatballs. Both good, although both came out lukewarm, not hot. The waiter was very nice but sometimes a bit slow and a bit too long in between checking in on us. All in all, a solid 3.5 star meal and I'm sure we'll be back.

This elegant restaurant a bit hidden from The shops at the Grove but it is a large two level restaurant. Food is great and the price is very reasonable compares to those cafes around beverly hills. Worth to try and they have excellent service too. One of the best restaurant around BH and I will always stop by gor lunch or dinner everytime Im in LA.

Staff was great (except for the hostess who didn't like to smile). Food was terrific, and Jack (our waiter) was attentive and friendly. I could fill up on the bread and olive oil alone. Our family tried the Linguine and clams in white sauce, Shrimp Diavolo, and Chicken Picatta. All were excellent and served in gigantic portions. Definitely recommend.

Portion sizes are huge but food is not that tasty. Restaurant is nice and service is also good. Wish everything taste better!

Maggiano's does Italian better than any other ....Period. Warning!....don't come for a light or vegan snack. They serve serious food. Great for small or large groups.

We were keen to have a pleasant Italian dinner at The Grove. Sadly we found that the huge mass produced meals did not reflect Italian cooking. The sauces did not match the food and kept on "repeating on us" during the night. We wondered if some MSG had been used. Cannot recommend this restaurant and wonder if the other Maggiano's are the same.

I held a baby shower for my son and daughter-in-law in Maggiano's Little Italy for about 50 people. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. So happy that we choose this place!

We were early for dinner our server Keith just made our meal excellent one word I am vegetarian and he took care of every detail in every item served. Great place for the family great value

I thought that I was in an old Italian restaurant in New York! Wonderful ambiance! The wait staff is very helpful and knowledge about the menu. Our waiter, Sean, was polite and very attentive, even though the place was very busy. Warm breads for starters, large wine list, huge choice of main courses! We will return!

We could find nothing special about this place, so this will be a short review. There's a fairly substantial menu of Italian fare. My potato side was apparently deep fried and overcooked. Crab cakes very average too. An annoying waiter. He cleared away some of the main plates before everyone had finished. I am sure there are better options nearby.

Just not worth it. The food is only so so and it's not worth the wait or the prices they charge. Lots of better choices in the area

Really polite service. The restaurant has a nice Italian like atmosphere. The food is great. There are some classic dishes that are missing, however the ones present are good. Great thing is if you have one of the daily specials you get an extra portion to go.

When visiting L.A. this is a must! With so many great food options, deserts and coffees, you can`t go wrong for lunch and dinner. We had the fish and the Brazilian and were happy with both choices. Lots of seating and its very clean and fresh. Perfect place for star gazing!!

We had heard about this Restaurant from our friends back in Australia. It had come with great reviews and they stated that the atmosphere and food made for one of the best nights they had in this LA area and they wernt wrong! Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by a lovely young man who told us the wait time to be seated (we were a party of 9 and tables had to be organized for us) as we hadn't booked ahead. The wait time was reasonable and saw us being seated right in the center of the dining area. Upon ordering an INCREDIBLE young man approached us and told us he would be out server from tonight. He was a young man from Texas and we enjoyed discussing our two accents prior to ordering our meals. As we had never been to eat here before our server took us through how to read the menu (where to find things and explained how the family deal works) and answered all of our questions regarding meals. He was able to answer all of our questions and even made some suggestions based on what we were asking. Our food came in a normal amount of time to be expected and was hot, fresh and tasty. The serving sizes are huge and we all ended up taking some home for the next day. The best part by far is when you order off the pasta menu you get TWO meals - YES TWO. For the price of one. I ordered a vegetarian ravioli to eat there and an eggplant Parmesan to take home with me and both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. This place comes highly recommended from it whole family now!

My friend and I decided to go there for lunch. The restaurant was only about 1/8 full (at the most they were 10 tables of guests). After being led to our tables and seated, it took about 5 minutes before a waiter attended to us. (We were actually preparing to get up and walk out). After that situation, we ordered our food and had a good experience. The atmosphere was pretty quiet, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. One of the friends that suggested eating there said going for dinner is better, so maybe I'll try that next time.

Went with my family to this location on Friday evening for dinner. We have been here few times, and we also visit once in a while the other location in Woodland Hills. As always, the food is amazing, the ambiance is so awesome, and the service is great. This evening, our server was Stephan. A very professional, friendly, polite and nice man. We really enjoyed our dinner, thanks to his perfect service. Do yourself a favor, and visit that restaurant. Specially, if you have guests from abroad. You will never be disapointed.

Maggiano's @ the farmers market was over the top! Great food, great location within a large development that has 100's of restaurants, stores, and everything else in between. I have yet to go find a Magliano's anywhere including this location that was not the best!

Took my Dad for dinner and the food was great as usual. The wait staff was exceptional and the bar was packed with soap opera stars. Oh! and BTW, Jay Leno dined in my booth right before me.

Great place if you want a good and large meal. Traditional pastas are great and if you choose one to eat there, they give you one to take home. Works with rigatoni, egg plant parmigian, lasagna, spagetti with sausage or meat ball, and ravioli. Other specialty pastas are very good, particularly linguine al frutti de mare. (You don't get to have one to go home with). Salads are good. Deserts are great. Salmon is great. Really all around good place. Has been one of our favorites for years.

I love this place. I lived in Chicago for many years where Maggiano's started. The decor is so East Coast, and the food is amazing. Upstairs they have private rooms for parties with gorgeous chandeliers. And even the bathrooms are beautiful.

Valerie was our server, she knew the menu inside n out, and made some recommendations that were awesome. Great food, great service.

I had the veal parm. The other three in the group went for pasta dishes, so they got second portions they ate at home the next day. Mine was average; they seemed to enjoy theirs. Nice atmosphere, decent value. I'll definitely try this or another location again.

The first day we went there was Martin Luther King day which I understand is a bank holiday in USA. Despite the bank holiday we were sat down quickly and had a very friendly waiter. I can't recall his name but he had a trainee with him. He gave an excellent run through of the menu and we went for their special deal which included starters deserts entrees as well as additional entrees to take home. All for under $50 excluding tip for two people. We thought this was an excellent deal considering the portion sizes and quality of food although because we were staying at a hotel we had to give away the entrees that we received to take home. The first night we received an additional complimentary appetiser from the chefs which was lovely. The flatbread starter we chose was more than big enough for two. The entrees were generous and tasty. I particularly liked the chicken fettuccine with asparagus. The next night our server was Shelby and she asked us about our trip and when we mentioned we hadn't seen any stars she said that a number of people from the CBS studios next door have often been. But sadly not this night. We had the same deal as before but there was so much food we again struggled to eat it all. What was a particularly nice touch was Shelby bringing over some complimentary lemon drizzle covered biscuits with "enjoy your last night in la" written in chocolate on it. A lovely gesture. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had dinner here with my girlfriend last week. I'd eaten at Maggiano's back in my home state of Indiana so I was expecting this one to be just as good as that one - and it absolutely was. I had an angel hair pasta dish and she had ravioli and both were delicious. Our service was fantastic - attentive without being bothersome or interrupting.

Food portions are huge quality food and service is great I would definitely return before going back to England This establishment is spot on and value for money

So I was at the Farmer's Market and decided I wanted takeout Italian so I go to Maggiano's. Granted I haven't been here in years simply because it's not close to my house. Anyway, I went in, was helped right away, and was even offered a complimentary drink while I wait. My food came, the hostess went over my order, and asked if I needed dinnerware. I get home and recheck my order; so happy to know it's correct. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, a side salad, and the lite fare chicken baked ziti. Everything was delicious! I just wish the side salad was a little larger for $6. Anyway, the food was delicious, and I was not disappointed as I sometimes am when I order takeout vs. dining in.

this farmer market offering different ethnic foods in large scale good flavours fast serving recommend if you are in the area

Excellent, super place. Little expensive but it's worth it. Clean, friendly, tasty. Clean toilets too.

Came on vacation. The food was amazing. Jaylan was great. Had no idea it was a chain will definitely visit other location and hope we get a server as great as him.

The three of us went to Maggiano's at the Farmers Market for a birthday celebration. Even though the Farmers Market/The Grove are contemporary places, the atmosphere was surprisingly nostalgic and a little classy. We went on a Monday evening and were seated immediately in the main dining room. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. Even with sturdy, hearty bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar to start us off, we ordered a sampler of bruschetta. The flavor combinations were good but nothing too surprising but still a nice starter that just the two of us shared. Our waitress explained that with certain pasta entrees, we would get a second entree to take home so we chose Braised Beef Pappardelle, Taylor Street Baked Ziti, and Mom's Lasagna. The portions were generous and the flavors were as good as I expected. My braised beef was tender, mildly seasoned, and were nicely paired with thicker noodles. The lasagna was a nice stack of pasta, cheese, and sauce and the ziti was a generous portion of pasta and sauce. The flavors were predictable but still satisfying. We ordered the lemon cookies and chocolate truffles. The cookies were a very nice, light but lemony zesty end to our meal. the even placed long thin candles on the cookies to celebrate our friend's birthday. The extra portions were a nice touch and I enjoyed my spaghetti and meatball the next day. As a food service professional, I thought the conference rooms/dining rooms upstairs were quite impressive. I would expect them to provide a pretty good experience with the very elegant environment they have for catering. If I need to host an event, I would seriously consider this location. For the money, and considering that pasta is extremely inexpensive to serve for restaurants, this is a great value. In summary, I like this restaurant and would recommend it.

Service was excellent, waiter did an excellent job. He was personable and made sure we were well taken care of.

I have been to Maggiano's numerous times but this was my first time going to this one while on a weekend vacation to LA. We arrived around 9pm and there was still a wait so we sat and ate in the bar. The server was very prompt and friendly. It was my sister's birthday so at the end the server brought out a dessert with candle. Very nice surprise!!

If you love Italian food you have to visit here - just make sure you have a large appetite! The food is great value and really tasty, the staff are so friendly and are a lot of fun. Best of all, you order a pasta and you get another to take home with you - definitely worth a visit and you definitely get value for money!

Lots of good food and a fun place to meet friends for a meal or drink. Lunch or dinner on your plate. This is a very good place.

This is a chain restaurant and it doesn't have that great flavor that many home style Italian restaurants have, yet it is good. The buttercream cake was amazing and worth the drive, but its only on the menu seasonally. Call ahead to be sure its there. The Chicken Piccata was good and was a large potion. They have outdoor seating with a patio flare, also upstairs too, they have an elevator for those who may need one. Its across from the farmers market and can be hard to find. I found it because of a paint night event.
Just for old time's sake!
We haven't visited a Maggianos in some 12 years or so, so we went to see if it was as good as we remembered. And yes, we were not disappointed. The menu now has the addition of lighter fare - very tasty entrees with less calories - but all the old favourites were still there and just as good. Add in excellent service and good value prices and it was still a hit!
