We went for a family dinner. The bistro had just be opened a week so we basically had the place more or less for ourselves. The food was very good and our waitress really took care of us.

We have stayed in the Union Square area a number of times in recent years and had mediocre meals and service, so this time I really studied reviews. Magnin Street Cafe stood out, so we gave it a try. From the moment we walked in, we felt extremely welcomed by every employee we came into contact! The service was excellent and friendly throughout and the food was delicious! In addition, the coffee was also delicious. We enjoyed the experience and food so much that we returned the next day!

So good. Went here for breakfast and the place was hopping. Would definitely eat here again. Good food and exceptional service.

⸻ We had breakfast there, near our hotel in downtown. I looked up good breakfast spots, and this one was close by with great reviews. The food quality was good, and the portions weren’t as big as typical American restaurants, but they were just enough. The coffee wasn’t very hot, which I actually like. The price was reasonable. Went here on a recommendation, and we weren’t disappointed. It was so good, that we went back a couple more times. The staff here are all friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast, which runs through until 15:00. There’s a wide choice of dishes for breakfast and a wide selection of sides. Coffee is free flowing. The portion sizes are ample. My partner had a hard scrambled egg sandwich, and I had the San Francisco omelette, which was packed with shrimp and crab. I also had the San Francisco club sandwich, again packed with shrimp and crab. They do amazing Bloody Mary’s too, which aren’t to be missed. Great atmosphere, great staff and great food.

Having sampled the breakfast for a couple of days, we also returned for an evening meal, or two. We ended up having breakfast here every day as the food was so good, and the service even better. Food is presented beautifully, and always an abundance of portion. Yvonne usually waited on us, but all the girls were excellent and attentive. A simple review does not do this place justice, it is a MUST place to dine at when in SF.

Food was good, not great. Service was unacceptable. I had a gift certificate through restaurant.com. When I check out, the manager said that the restaurant attempted to end their relationship with restaurant.com unsuccessfully and would not honor the certificate ($25). Needless to say I was very disappointed. Will never return.

Really unassuming place. Walked past a few times as it was busy for breakfast and lunch, while on holiday in San Francisco. We stayed at the Hilton Parc 55 and wanted to try something different. Consuela was a fantastic host and is an asset to the business. She made us feel very welcome. The food was great, we had French onion soup and chicken tenders for starters and for our main course it was steak and chicken Alfredo. Check it out if you get a chance.

I was so glad to find this spot when I arrived. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Served me immediately with some water, brought my drinks order within a few minutes and checked back that all was well. I ordered the avocado toast and it was delicious. I noticed they have ricotta pancakes so I will be back for dessert.

A quiet restaurant, with very good service and very good food. One of the dishes was a Ny steak and we were surprised by the tenderness of the meat, super recommended

Lovely place great staff reasonably priced was there for dinner pasta and steak both good. Very busy at breakfast too will try soon 😀

Only found this amazing place on our second last day of our holiday. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food presentation was excellent and taste was sensational. Loved the music choice. Highly recommend for a relaxing place to dine.

Found this gem via an online search and really enjoyed it. Was glad we got a reservation, as it was busy for a Sunday brunch. They were able to seat us quickly, and the food also arrived in a timely fashion. Both my French toast and my husband's omelette were fantastic. Also, I don't know if I've ever seen more freshly squeezed orange juice. Want to return and sample more of the menu.

We went there for dinner on our last evening of vacation and it was a great end to our vacation. We ate the best burger there and had a really nice evening. The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished, the food was really brilliant and beautifully prepared. And the service in the restaurant is really very good and they take their time with the guests. We can only recommend it and thank you for the lovely time in the restaurant.

Called by here for breakfast as it was close to our hotel and had a good choice on the menu. We both had the American Breakfast with additional mushrooms and a latte. The breakfast was good quality and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Had breakfast and dinner here a number of times including the thanksgiving dinner. The staff were brilliant and the food was absolutely perfect and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend !

Staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chicken sandwich and mixed green salad. The sandwich was nicely prepared and salad was fresh with a flavorful dressing. Nice option for travelers.

Great experience of American cuisine, excellent hamburgers, salads, always very friendly staff, very nice and clean modern place. Good solution for a quick lunch or dinner.

On visiting san Francisco for a solo trip I came here on a recommendation from my hotel and it was just perfect both the food and service are exceptional. Very well looked after and nothings too much trouble it’s a must when you visit.

Has an upscale diner feel. For breakfast I had the Huevos Rancheros and it was so good! The expresso martini definitely started the day off right!
