Happening place with fun atmosphere. Friendly staff and very good Bloody Mary. Not to mention excellent chips and sauces. Definitely would go again.

We’ve been many times. Super cute restaurant with a great outdoor courtyard area with covered seating and a grassy play area for kids. We’ve always had friendly service. Nice bar area. We went recently for Saturday brunch for the first time and it was quite good! Good queso, great salsa. Very good margaritas Nice atmosphere and vibe. If you are OK with spicy ask for the spicy green salsa, it is not on the menu. It is our very favorite. We are obsessed with it. The food is all well presented, and we like most things we have ordered. It can get busy, so just keep that in mind and go during off peak times when you can. But they do have a lot of seating so that helps the wait not be too much. this is one of our go to restaurants and my husband needs his hot green salsa fix a couple times a month. We have recommended this restaurant to many people and everybody likes it. It is great for families, girls night, date night, and they also do a good job with larger groups.

I am not a big fan of Tex-Mex but it was good. The nachos and queso were good. I had an quesadilla with shrimp and it was pretty good. A little dry but I would order it again. They were accommodating. Food came out pretty quick and the staff was responsive to the needs of our party.

We could hear the music all the way in the parking lot. That would've been enough to turn us away, but someone had highly recommended this restaurant. The menu was average. Our service was so-so. The music prevented conversation. The tea was flavorful and the chips were hot! That was a huge plus. Salsa is such a personal preference so I won't rate it. The food was not bad, just average. I wouldn't deter anyone from coming here, but I'll stick with my usual spots.

The vibes are great here with a large outdoor area, fun music and decor. The food however, was a bit bland. The chips and salsa were delicious, spicy, which I like. I got fried avocado tacos and there was just no flavor. The corn in them tasted like barely thawed frozen corn and overall it was such a bland meal. The frozen drinks were delicious so this might be a better place for drinks and appetizers for happy hour than an actual meal.

Mama Betty's has been a great addition to the area! A family friendly environment with amazing drinks and great food! Probably the best Power Bowls in Austin!

Mamma Betty’s has good food and drinks however our dining experience was ruined due to 8 kids running, playing tag around the dining tables in the outdoor dining area (although there is a grassy play area for them to play) climbing the tree that expressly posted no climbing , climbing the railings and screaming. I complained to the waiter and asked for someone to deal with the problem but nothing was said or done other than “ yes, Parents need to control their kids. “ Regrettably, we won’t be back.

Love going Mama Betty’s but please turn your music down. Everyone I talk to says the same thing. Too loud to have decent conversations. Our family will go but my friends and I won’t do girl’s night there anymore (we have to scream at each other to hear). We are not that old either! Haha. Love their steak tacos, Mexican Martini and cheese enchiladas!! I like their green sauce too.

Hair in Food with Attitude! I've visited a couple of times. And this experience was one for the record books in any resturant I've visited. Long Hair in my chips or salsa. Male bartender says "maybe it was yours" and glares at me. Finally offers new chips. Female bartender has an obvious bad attitude and gives me a nasty look from an angle that other Customers next to me noticed. I asked if she was angry at me for reporting the Hair. Her comment was "No it wasn't my hair" customers next to me confirmed that i was not imagining the Attitude and terrible experience . I asked for a manager and although he apologized, he made excuses, defended his empolyees, and gave me his own version of Attitude including not wanting to hear what the other customer next to me had to offer regarding what they heard and saw.... "I'm only talking to you" he said. Great way to treat Customers!

This place is BEST! Food so good I cleaned my plate! Server was awesome! I was so impressed they were able to make such warm and fun environment in a strip mall! I don’t normally write reviews, but when I saw the bad and mediocre reviews for this place I just had to say something.

I know the restaurant doesn't value my opinion or find me credible, but I'd still like people to know that the food is terrible and the restaurant is dirty. There are so many better Mexican places to eat, there is no reason to waste money here.
