We were in the restaurant around 5.45 in the evening on a Sunday for dinner. Initially we were seated in an awkward location with one small menu although the restaurant was empty. My niece had been there before and when the menu was presented it seemed different. Feeling uncomfortable, we asked to be seated elsewhere. And then the whole atmosphere, service changed for the better. The waitress was extremely helpful and offered different menus which was better than the previous location we were seated in with suggestions and the food was fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was exceptional. Kashke Batenjan, muhammara, Fish and a couple of drinks. Overall an exceptional experience despite the initial setback. At the end of dinner, we left stuffed with our belly full and the heart contented. Will go back again.

We had the pleasure of dining here on a Sunday night while looking for a new place in Seattle. While parking is a chore (traveling from the East side), the warm reception of the staff and tastefully designed interior made the trip seem like nothing. Service was top notch, and the drink menu left no one out in the dark. Lots of options for every palate. We had the "old Beirut" with bourbon and fig, and the "foxy akhdar" with rye, green chartreuse, and pineapple. Dinner was impressive with the Kefta grill. Amazing flavors! Looking at the menu doesn't do this place justice. Just go! You'll love it!

I love Middle Eastern food and I am Lebanese so I know What Lebanese and Syrian food should taste like When your Syrian bread (pita) comes out gray, doughy and cold followed by oily taboule with way too much wheat and then follow that with my falafel that are cold and crunchy on the inside not to mention the lamb manouash which had cold lamb on top of soggy bread Oh wait it gets worse. Babaganoush thick and chalky. What a horrible experience never to be repeated. I am looking at reviews wondering if the people even know what the food should taste like because that is not in anyway Middle Eastern food. So many great restaurants in Seattle thought I would try one I'm familiar with. I'll stick with the wonderful seafood and other great restaurants here Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because this restaurant has no idea what they're doing

This is a very good restaurant. Delicious food and friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our party of 4 ordered a range of dishes, all good but the portions were disappointingly small relative to the prices. $32 for the shish taouk, their “signature dish” which was tasty but barely enough food for one person. $4 for each “basket” of pita which contains the equivalent of one large pita cut into 4 wedges. Service was poor as well, we were seated by 6p (on a weeknight), the restaurant appeared fully staffed but not yet full of diners yet we waited almost 30 minutes for our cocktails - and that was after reminding our waitperson that after 20 minutes the drinks hadn’t been served. Worst of all, at one point a staff person brought some of our food to the table and when asked refused to clear away empty dishes.

After having a couple good experiences at this restaurant, my most recent experience was so unpleasant that it will be a long time before I venture back. In spite of almost every table being available when my group of three arrived (we were early because of theatre plans after dinner), we were seated at a tiny round table set for two. I had to point out that it was much too small for us to eat dinner -- which was patently obvious -- and they responded by shoving a second tiny round table over. We should have insisted on moving, but didn't. The server was at best, indifferent, and at worst, rude, and seemed to be generally irritated by the fact that we had questions or requests. When she asked if we wanted dessert, we all immediately said "no," because the experience was on the verge of ruining our evening. We crossed the street to the Starbucks Roastery, where we had a bigger table, better service and nice coffee and dessert (coconut cream pie!). The food at Mamnoon remains good (if possibly overpriced), but consider getting it "to go."

I'll start by saying the food here was SO good, I'm willing to overlook the "meh" level of service we had. Our server was friendly, he just wasn't particularly attentive. He only stopped by to take our order and then we didn't see him again until the end when he brought our check. I understand they have other staff running food, but I at least expected him to check in a couple of times. Anyway, on to the better part of the review, the food! We started with an order of the basal labneh, which was amazingly creamy and flavorful and when mixed with the homemade pita, it was unbelievable. We also ordered the persian cucumbers, which were delicious - I especially loved the use of fresh herbs, not just in that dish, but in everything we had! We had the arnabeit makli (crispy cauliflower with grilled corn, dill bi zeit, shishito, and turmeric pickled cauliflower) and that was probably my favorite thing we ate, but not by a huge margin because everything was so good! We also shared the mamnoon kebab (which was lamb on the night we went) and it was incredible - the lamb was so tender and flavorful, not at all gamey. Finally, we had levantine tart and the mouhallabia (oat milk pudding), both of which were phenomenal and not overly sweet, truly a great way to finish the meal. I would definitely come back for the food in a heartbeat!

My wife and I stopped in here after the place we had intended on going was closed for the holiday weekend. Great find, Dolmes were perfect as the rest of our meal which included an appetizer plate with Hummus, babba, etc.. and Kibbeh. Highly recommend and they do take reservations.

The server and other staff were all very helpful and provided amazing service. We began our meal with an order of moushakal. The muhmmara was my favorite yet the other three items were also very delicious. The arnabeit makli was terrific. We were very content even before the main courses arrived. The rack of lamb and black cod were great choices. Much care went into the dessert options too.

Must have been around 15 of us and they catered with a set menu that did not disappoint. A brilliant and tasty selection of meat and vegetarian dishes that were all really good. Ate until completely stuff and there was still food left over. Highly recommend for decent Middle Eastern food.

On this visit we started with Moushakal, which is hummus, muhammara, labneh, and baba ganoush. This was followed by Fatteh, Salata, Mamnoon taouk, all very good. The flavors are interesting and very delicious. We also had a very good bottle of Lebanese red wine.

We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night but we were able to be seated right away at the bar. We had traffic issues so were running later than expected. Service was surprisingly quick. Cocktails were delicious and creative. I just wish we had more time to savor!

Visiting Seattle for the holidays. Took a break from shopping and went to lunch at Mamnoon. Great location and fun atmosphere. Food was very good but agree that it is a bit pricey. Appetizers were very small, but we were forewarned by our server. We all tried something different for lunch and were happy with our choices. Service was very good.

We were looking for something lighter fare and came across Mamnoon. We started with the dip sampler and cauliflower. I couldn't stop eating the beet dip and the Muhamara. The additional appetizers were all great and we were both stuffed. These apps were perfect for what we're after. On top of all of this, they brought us a complimentary warm orange blossom water to cleanse our palette. That was a nice touch.

If you are a fan of complex and delicious middle eastern flavors, Mamnoon is a great place! The best pita bread, and a variety of wonderful dishes. Nice wines by the glass.

It's not easy to be consistently inventive and still stay inside a traditional range of cuisine- in this case Lebanese. People either have favorites that need to always be present or want to be surprised. Mamnoon manages to do both and do them both well. The seasonal menu had an amazing 'new' fish dish- baramundi while keeping the chicken dish comfortably familiar. The dumplings- vegetarian - were a big hit. The appetizer plate (Meze) remains the signature version of this old favorite- spiced up with a beet spread- and served with some of the best pita bread this side of the Atlantic. The drink menu always impresses. Service is very fast and efficient, the owners usually on call, and if they stop by and ask how things are going, it is because they truly care. Worth checking out their other roof top restaurant mBar after you've dined here.

Friendly staff, delicious food, pretty surroundings, and good location. All in all, I think this restaurant is a real gem. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. I know you won’t be either.

Intrigued by the idea of Mediterranean fusion "street food," I went for lunch and came back the next day, happily satisfied both times. The artfully-designed restaurant is closed at lunch, but you can order at the street-side counter and sit or stand at any of several counters inside or outside. The food is fresh, seasonal, beautifully prepared and the flatbreads made on site. First day I had the tasty lahm bi ajini (lamb wrapped in a fresh flatbread) with grilled halloumi cheese, and fresh mint lemonade; second day I tried the muhammara, which is a spread with peppers, walnuts, and pomegranate sauce, and the ayran (a yogurt drink). The fragrances are divine, and the food lovingly prepared -- updated fusion, still bearing authentic tastes and cultural memories of Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Armenia, Kurdistan, Iran, Azerbaijan. I can't wait to return and try more on the "street menu" as well as a foray for dinner.

Second time we've visited for lunch, and the food is great. Small plates, mezze, designed to be shared. Lots of fun deciding what to get together. Very tasty.

My wife and I shared the Mashawi (3 items) - everything was delicious! Can't recommend this place enough.

A Vacation For Your Tastebuds” I've delighted in every visit since Mamnoon first opened its doors in 2014. The food is fantastic, complex and authentic. The produce used are the freshest possible, and every dish is prepared with love and care. I love sitting in the lounge with the stunningly curated art. Mamnoon is a cultural gift to Seattle of the finest Lebanese and Syrian foods, along with the excellent modern Middle Eastern Art collection. Lunch is more casual than the dinner service, but equally delicious. Not to be missed by locals or visitors.

I don’t recommend this restaurant, very pricey for no things. The bread naan seem not very cooked, their appetizers are very basic and they gave you a very small portion even when you order for 4, the mixed grill too expensive for 2 skewers of chiken, meats.

This is really a gem. Across from Starbucks Roastery. We have eaten here twice. Every dish is well prepared, delicious aNd delivered to the table with perfection. Every dish is a treat. The artwork is unique. This is a Seattle treat not to be missed. Make reservations.

While I'd encourage you to have a reservation for this place, we were able to just walk in. It's right across the street from the Starbucks roastery and 4 small plates are easily shared for dinner between 2 people

This was the perfect place to take a vegetarian out of town guest. Four of us ordered lots of small dishes and one main to share and sample. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and interesting. All 4 of us had a drink and we left pleasantly full for about $35 per person. Will have to try the meat options next time!

We are very familiar with Lebanese cuisine and looked forward to eating here. We found something we hadn’t tried before, hummus with ground lamb, but it was too warm and I didn’t enjoy it. We also were a bit disappointed with the scarcity of lamb and vegetable options. We found it pricey for the menu and prep and probably wouldn’t return.

Our family had hoped to snag a table at Machiavelli on Capitol Hill before they took a winter hiatus. We arrived early (we thought) only to find a long line. Our fallback was Mamnoon - a restaurant I’d never been to - and a cuisine with which I’ve had little experience. Well, let’s just say I’m glad we couldn’t get a table at Machiavelli. This Syrian-Lebanese restaurant offers a wide menu of unrecognizable food (at least to me). What you get is a real treat. The fried cauliflower is a must. So, too, their endive/fennel salad. A chicken dish was excellent. The fish was a hit at our table, too. Service was top notch. Ambience is trendy. Don’t be put off by the intimidating menu. Go for it.

Other than my time in Israel, this is the best Mediteranean food I’ve ever tasted. The Za’atar made me feel like I was in the Old city of Jerusalem. The flavors, freshness of ingredients and friendly staff made it a unforgettable experience!

Mamnoon is a recommended restaurant in the downtown area of Seattle. Serving Mediterranean food, the restaurant lures you with delicious dishes and excellent service.

Have visited Mamnoon every so often since they opened. Just went back for a family celebration dinner and were delighted again. Surprising flavors, all coming together beautifully. Great service. Can get a bit loud when very busy

I had a nice takeaway here last week to eat in my Airbnb. I really liked the spicey harra frites. Also had lamb biajine and baba ghanoush. Enough for two dinners actually. There is a sit-douwn area too, but I did take out.

LOVE the food here. It's absolutely amazing. Flavorful but not overpowering and great portions. I've been here several times and the food has never failed, but the service has been awful every time. We went once on a Friday around 1:30 and waited almost 45 minutes before a server asked us for our order. The other time I went around 11 AM before the lunch rush and it took almost 30 minutes for me to get my check.

Went there with a couple of Friends for Dinner on a Weekday Location: Situated pretty close to i5, the place is very easy to find on google Maps Ambience: The ambience is quite elegant and relaxed enough to have a good conversation with Friends over some good food and beverage Food: For the beverage, we order a gin-lime based cocktail (Cintramint) which was quite refreshing (you can hardly go wrong with gin & lime), a cucumber-lime mocktail and a vodka based cocktail. All of them were really good. For starters we ordered the platter which had Hummus, Baba Ganoush, A beet root dip and a pine nut dip with unlimited bread. All four tasted brilliant (exactly how they should be). For mains we order a Chicken Dish (Skewered) which was again quite delicious. Service: The staff was very friendly and the service was quite prompt. No complains there. Good Job Price: Our bill for 3 was ~$110 which was slightly expensive but it was worth it.

My colleague and I recently had dinner at Mamnoon. The food was very authentic and the best I've tasted in years without having traveling to the Middle East. The service was great as well. Our server was Erin. She was very sweet and personable. She even gave us some local recommendations. Because our experience was excellent we returned with a party of 12 people a couple of days later. What a difference two days can make. The food remained of high quality and standard but the service was downright lousy tinged with sarcasm from the male waiter. The service was slow (yes I realize we were 12 people but the restaurant wasn't busy at all) and the attitudes of the servers was embarrassing since I was the host for this large party of business people. At one point, I ordered baklava only to be handed a plate of exactly what I ordered. That is fine. I asked for a fork like any sensible person would ask for. The reply I received was, "in Seattle we eat baklava with our fingers!". What kind of answer is that? I've traveled all over the world and not once have I EVER seen, heard, read about, or much less eaten baklava myself without a fork. Regardless who eats what with what, I kindly asked for a fork. He did bring me one but my colleagues rightfully determined that this young kid not only had an attitude but was very rude. I, personally, was embarrassed in front of my colleagues. I would have welcomed the chance to not tip. Unfortunately, the service charge of 20% was already added so I was forced to pay for the wonderful service and witty Seattle humour adding an experience I will never forget. By all means, give Erin a raise and make her the employee of the month. The staff during the day - fire them and replace them with people who are actually personable. For the food - EXCELLENT!

Expensive but delicious. Mamnoon never disappoints when it comes to flavor. But the food can be a pricy. (The lamb was $39 for 9 bites of meat). It’s very tasty just be prepared to pay for it.

Really enjoyed the top notch service and atmosphere here. Prices were also very reasonable. The food was a mixed bag. We ordered a couple of starters which were great. The entrees were hit or miss. Just not as flavorful as I was hoping. Dessert was tasty, but nothing to write home about. I'd recommend as overall the experience was worthwhile, but have better recommendations in Seattle.

It took a long time for my dining companion and I to receive our entrees, and they were pricier than we were prepared for, but in the end, the food was delicious. It was worth the wait and the dollars to eat such delicious cuisine.

Excellent food we had a group of 11 and the biggest hits were three appetizers the hummus, baba ganoush and batteresh. Of the entrees the Beef Kabob and Black Cod were outstanding. The restaurant decor is professional and appealing. The only negative is the acoustics as the restaurant was very busy and very noisy so conversation was difficult so don't look for an intimate romantic setting. Service was very good and attentive especially for such a large group.Paid parking is available less than a half block away. I would have given a five star rating if it hadn't been for the noise levels.

We just got back from a visit to Seattle for a play at the Paramount. We have tried many restaurants in the area, and have resisted walking crossing the i5, but we decided to visit Mamnoon this weekend, and it was FANTASTIC. The weather was gorgeous, the beer/cocktails were delicious, and the food was a solid 5-star in my books. The humus, cauliflower and chicken dishes were the most popular, but we had a terrific variety, and everything was devoured. Very flavourful, great quality, exotic and two thumbs up for sure!

The Resturant was lovely cozy and good for snacks and they have a dinner menu too Happy hours are between 4 to 6pm daily

The food was amazing! We ordered almost all the menu, good beer, and nice place. The server was rude, to the point I would have not left ant tip, but the food was excelent. Be careful with that server, maybe you end up punchibg her in the face.

Very cool atmosphere and some great food - sadly was so full after cocktails and appetisers didn't actually manage to have a main but more of a tapas style meal but it was a great selection of food and all the dishes were excellent

The small plates are really interesting and offer an amazing range of tastes and textures. We ordered the mixed platter for our group and it was disappointing. Meat was tough and over cooked. Too much rice and too little seafood.

Beyond all expectations. This is the best middle eastern food I have ever eaten. I was with an Iranian friend and he agreed. The atmosphere is fine, but a little loud. The service was great. Loved it.

Great decor style. Staff was amazing both host and server. Loved them and made our time there so special. Presentation of food was exquisite. We shared several appetizers and the food was delicious too. Recommended.

I was taken there by my daughter for an advanced fathers day event. The menu options are varied & portions generous. Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Middle Eastern in a hip atmosphere. We loved the decor and the selection of mezzes (small plates). Food tasted good and service was friendly. Recommended!

Went in for dinner yet neither of us was very hungry - decided to have a cocktail and then an appetizer which were very good. We said we were done and would like the check - the server was a little put off by that and kept asking if we wanted more...interesting

Limited menu but great food nevertheless! Fun atmosphere but a bit noisy. Great drinks and a great server.

We ordered four plates and shared around. Servings are large, food is absolutely amazing! Great flavor, great value!

My wife introduced me to this restaurant as it was one noted in a book she just read, I looked it up on the web and the menu looked perfect. We walked in just as the restaurant opened and there were already a few folks waiting to come in. This day I did not want to miss out on a new adventure and what an adventure it was! After reviewing the menu we made about 5 selections from soup, salads, a terrific falafel sandwich and what I have to say is the very best french fries I've ever tasted. We got to pick a lovely table by the window and the server did his best to keep up with our orders while trying to manage the takeout orders, phone calls and serving other tables. He had a lot on his hands but did a very admirable job while still keeping polite. As to the food, I started off with their red lentil soup, which knocked me right off my chair! I love lentil soup but I've never tasted anything so complicated and divine. The Falafel sandwich was letter-perfect, everything prepared and proportioned perfectly and completely simple to eat with no mess. Finally the French fries, generally I would not order these but my wife was dying to try them, after one bite she was dying to get another away from me! - Light, crunchy, smooth like cream inside with no oiliness at all, and the spicy aioli dipping sauce was BANG! I can honestly tell you I've NEVER had mediterranean or Lebanese food anywhere in the Puget Sound even close to this good and frankly I don't know if I could say anywhere on the West Coast. This is a terrific spot! Finally as we left the restaurant was filled to capacity SO, I'd strongly suggest showing up early, make a reservation or at least expect a bit of a wait. Good News Travels Fast in Seattle!

Our standout meal of 2 weeks in the Northwest. Delicately flavoured, fresh pita warm from the oven, interesting tastes. Summer squash, roasted cauliflower were exceptional Warm friendly service

The place is bigger than I though it would be. A bit loud, service is good, but the food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

My partner and I went here for dinner after a friend recommended it to us. We sat on the patio which didn’t have much room but it worked. The service was painfully slow and seemed really chaotic. Our drinks were delivered to the wrong table and we saw many other tables get the wrong food. We had probably 3 or 4 different staff wait on us throughout the meal, but all they did was put our food on the table, not once were we asked if we needed anything (we were going to order another round of drinks but by the time a server came by we had decided we’d rather go somewhere else). We also thought we’d order a dessert to share but got tired of waiting and eventually went up to the host stand to ask for our bill (through our whole meal there were 2 staff at the host stand just chatting). The food was good, but honestly not worth the price or the really subpar service.

My daughter in law picked out this great place that serves up-to-date Middle Eastern food. We ordered the appetizer sampler, ground meat kabobs and chicken kabobs, plus the fried cauliflower and the tomato salad for four people. I don't recall every item in the sampler but all was prepared with great ingredients and great care. Case in point, you would think a tomato salad would not be a highly memorable item of your meal, but I couldn't stop eating the super fresh and sweet tomatoes. We cleaned our plates. Our cocktails were terrific too. I had the Arrack and a Hard Place, really subtle and interesting cocktail. And I had the cheapest wine by the glass, a muscat, absolutely delicious and refined.

We took our Seattle friends to dine with us at a Syrian restaurant in our city last year. It has generally remained as TripAdvisor’s top Montreal restaurant the last couple of years and was recently written up as the top Syrian restaurant outside of Syria. So we had high expectations when they reserved a table at Mamnoon for the four of us. Although you “can’t compare apples and oranges “, we all totally enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant is very noisy but has a nice hipster vibe. Service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed all our appetizers, including fried cauliflower, baba ganoush, fattoush salad. They were all tasty but not memorable. We then shared one of each of the 4 mains. Best were the fish and grilled chicken. The beef was very tender and cooked perfectly. The vegetarian dish was flavourful too. We enjoyed a wonderful Lebanese red wine blend from Masur called Jeune. All in all a very enjoyable experience I can recommend

My nephew took me and a friend to dinner here and it was amazing. The rooftop views, knowledgeable and friendly staff, elegant presentation and delectable!!! A must do!

Loads of amazing craft drinks with a flair on using middle east spices, as well as an Austrian Gruner Veltliner wine which matched the perfect acidity of most of the courses. Lots of yummy options for vegans, or entrees that can be altered for vegans, according to our very friendly waitress, Raquel. Very cool décor as well, except for the table we were seated at, which had a sculpture of dead (rubber) plucked chickens hanging above us, approximately 20-30 of them. It was morbid and should be taken down and didn't match the rest of the restaurant décor, anyway.

I'd say this is little posh and little catered toward "image". the food was decent, but could have been little better for the price.

Sexy little Turkish/Mediterranean. Great food, service and cocktails. Try the fried cauliflower, smoky babaghanoush, or spicy kofte. We really enjoyed ourselves!

I spent less eating lobster in San Francisco. The food was good but RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. The quantities of food were scarce. I never spent so much to get up from the table still hungry.

Fun place to go with a group, tasty food but small servings and very pricey. Also, did not appreciate the addition of a 20% tip because we were a group of 7. Tips should be earned, not expected.

Mamnoon was a semi-finalist for the James Beard award for a good reason. First off, it's hard to find Lebanese food. You can find asian, greek, Mexican, etc. everywhere but Lebanese is difficult. Secondly, the food is good! We got a large dish to share, that had 3 popular meats in it. Both of our favorites was the kefta (beef), followed by the fish and lastly, the chicken. Like most places, they didn't have any great dairy-free desserts but our waiter informed us about a place (Frankie & Jo's). It's seldom that a waiter will recommend other establishments but it just solidified that this place doesn't need to beg and scrape for people to eat there because their food speaks for itself. The place is nicely decorated and feels very Seattle-esk.

We attended the Chateau Musar dinner on 4/16/18. The wines and the many small but filling dishes were delicious and went perfectly together. Based on our prior meals at Mamnoon it seemed that some things were made specially for this winemaker's dinner and some were similar to items that are generally available on the menu. Service was excellent and we really enjoyed the two other couples who were at "our table" (actually three small tables pushed close together) in the party room off the main dining area. Overall it was just a very special vibe with great people, food and wine. We have to credit the owners of Mamnoon for cultivating this eclectic group of patrons who came together as strangers but left as friends.

Mujadarra was amazing! Muhammara and kefta great, too. Good service. Outdoor seating makes for good people-watching. Menu about the right size.

We dine quite frequently at Mamnoon and have found the food to be very good. Mamnoon organized a wine dinner on September 31 featuring Ixsir wines from Lebanon. We were seated cafeteria style with chairs so close that you could feel the breath of the person next to you. It felt like you are seated in the middle seat in the economy section of a budget airline and asked to enjoy a wine dinner. To make matters worse the wines were at best below average. We paid $150 per person and walked out totally disgusted. The only saving grace was the food which was delicious. We will never go to a wine dinner at Mamnoon again. This experience has turned us off so much that we may not frequent this restaurant any more. Disappointing indeed. Also the restaurant is extremely noisy. You can not have a meaningful conversation at all.

Heard about this place. I love Lebanese and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I left feeling very underwhelmed. $70 for counter service lunch for family of 4 and my husband and son were still hungry. Flavors were good…I ordered the za’atar w/chicken shawarma and enjoyed it, but the chicken was not very high quality and, given the fact that for lunch it was just counter service, I felt we could have dined in a restaurant with comparable food and received good service in a nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend it.

My companion and I are currently eating vegetarian. Although Mamnoon only has 2 vegetarian entrees on the menu, we had a fantastic experience ordering several vegetarian mezze (small plates) to share. We did not even order everything that sounded good (and was vegetarian) and we still had some leftovers to take home. I've been eating middle Eastern cuisine for 3 decades, and yet this restaurant offered several things I'd never had before or new twists on old favorites. We especially recommend the fattoush - essentially a salad, but not boring lettuce. We also enjoyed the anabeit akli (fried cauliflower), the baba ganoush and dolmeh (stuffed grape leaves). On the reservation form (I reserved through OpenTable) I put that my dining companion has a severe allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. Our server greeted us and asked who had the allergy. She carefully explained what on the menu was safe for him, and double checked with the chef. I noticed the allergy was even listed on our bill. This concern for food safety is very much appreciated. This was in my opinion the best vegetarian meal we had in Seattle, and we also ate at 2 well-known vegetarian restaurants. The menu also featured some creative and tasty cocktails.

Full disclosure: we visited Mamnoon during the restaurant ban and they made us feel like the most important guests in Seattle. We choose Mamnoon for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration and had to get take out because of the ban. Jen the general manager blessed us with wonderful hospitality. When she heard it was our anniversary, she went all out for us. We cannot thank you enough, Jen, for celebrating our special moment with us! Having lived in the Middle East, we are familiar with Middle Eastern flavors and Mamnoon has them. My wife and I voted Mamnoon as our favorite meal on our special anniversary trip to Seattle. Wish we could go back to Mamnoon and relive our lifelong memory. It would be our first meal. It's located across from Melrose Market near the Starbucks Roastery. Oh, yeah, the food. We stuck with Middle Eastern basics which were so pleasing. I'm sure anything on their menu would be fabulous. Can you say mouth watering? Finally, I would place their baklava in the contest for Best Baklava on the Planet. It literally melted in our mouths.

6 of us requested a round table and family style for sampling several items on the menu. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious and fresh made pita bread still warm. 15 minute walk uphill from Pike Place Market is very pleasant. Dress is resort casual.

Great vegetarian and meat dishes. Pumpkin dumplings were great as was the hummus and baba genoush. Service fast, but a little noisy. Middle Eastern/Syrian at its best.

Stopped for happy hour on Saturday - that's unusual - and it was a great menu. There is outdoor seating and the food is excellent ...this is my 4th time eating there but, my first review. We ordered several small plates and a few specialty drinks from the bar. Good location easy to find with great atmosphere and good service. I would suggest trying a variety of small plates for a unique dining experience .

We had an excellent meal at this eatery in downtown Seattle. It serves a selection of well made Lebanese food. Apart from the usual wraps and falafel, they serve really well made spicy potato fries which are excellent. It has a bar and seeing the number of customers coming to pick up orders, it is very popular. An excellent eatery to have a quick meal.

Currently my absolute favorite restaurant in Seattle. Get the mezzo plate. Know menu changes seasonally.

Started with the shamandar bi tahini which was amazing! Freshly made pita bread. The service was exceptional. My entree was the kefta. My niece and I ended up overeating as the flavors were so good. I will definitely be returning.

We arrived just at the right time when there seemed to be a lull mid afternoon before they closed to open again for dinner. The food came pretty quickly. Muhammara was pre-prepared and came in a tub. The taste was very good though. Served with some pita it was a perfect starter. Lamb bi ajine- I was expecting some salad or yogurt sauce - anything with the mince lamb but it was more mince lamb in a tomato gravy with a garden of parsley- literally a half bunch of parsley. Felafel - also prefer good but simple in preparation and no effort in presentation. The baklava was delicious but the syrup was a bit grainy and it was v sickly sweet- a lot more than baklavas usually are. Mint Lemonade- they tasted pretty good but kind of syrupy as if it was readymade from a bottle and not freshly made but they were still refreshing. As good as they were though, I found it slightly overpriced considering how much you got. We said no ice so you get half a glass per person. This a good place for lunch. For dinner I’d prefer a slightly fancier place considering there are so many options in the downtown area. The portions are small considering the average price. The best way to enjoy a meal here would be to order quite a few items and then mix and match rather than a la carte.

Mamnoon is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Lebanese spices and local ingredients make this a special find. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options

The food in this place is truly excellent--we loved every one of the meze we tried, and the bread was great. The ambiance is pleasant and the hostess was polite and helpful. But the management and service is terrible. They were out of the only vegetarian entree on the menu, plus one of the most substantial vegetarian meze, and despite our only ordering vegetarian options the server (who spoke too quickly and quietly to be understood over all the noise) kept trying to push lamb dishes on us. Plus they gave us our check without even the option of ordering dessert. Also, the menu on the website is not up-to-date with current offerings, and what you are hoping for may no longer be available.

Met a business colleague from out of town for lunch. I’ve been to their sister restaurant in Kirkland a couple of times. This location, how should I say, was not inviting at all. First, we were there at 11:45 and hardly anyone was there so you’d think we could have a better seat than right smack when someone walks in. We were finally seated in the back which I liked so we could have a conversation. Turkish coffee was delicious. I’m a sucker for cardamom and they nailed it. Hummus and halloumi cheese salad was nice. I love pickled veggies but note that it doesn’t come with any greens, as one would expect for a salad. Not sure I care for the dark ambiance (see pics) as I felt like the belly dancers or any dancers were gonna pop out. For the food, I’ll stick to Kirkland.

Wonderful menu of small and large plates - delightful food like nothing I have ever eaten before . As a vegetarian , I tried the kibbet yaqteen - which had some roasted squash and amazing flavors , as well as the arnabeit makli ( roasted cauliflower with wonderful tahini sauce. Not inexpensive food but welll worth the price.

Although, according to our very attentive waiter, the menu featured traditional Lebanese dishes, they were quite exotic to me. So I really appreciated his recommendations because they were all delicious. We also order a trout and it was fresh and nicely flavored too. I was curious about the Lebanese wines on the menu that were quite expensive. The waiter said they resemble French Bordeaux. I ended up trying an Italian the was $8 a glass. It tasted like a much more expensive wine. In all, this restaurant is not cheap but it is of excellent value.

My nephew recommended this restaurant and he is a local. We requested outdoor seating due to the beautiful weather and they kindly squeezed the 5 of us on the patio. The food was amazingly fresh. We ordered the Mamnoon Shawarma and Awarma. The chicken and the lamb were moist and flavorful. The accompanying sauces were perfect. The dishes are a good size. Service was attentive. Thank you for a great dinning experience.

This is a totally overpriced restaurant. The servings was small as . The Entre(main meal) had one Sheesh kabab and a bit of homus seemed like a total rip-off. Please be advised avoid this place at any cost.

I've been to Mamnoon a couple of times before and loved every bite but last night my husband and I had dinner plans there before a show. Traffic was terrible so we called ahead and checked out the menu in the car but the whole team from entry to exit was focused on not only getting us to the show on time but doing so in a friendly, awesome way, as well as recommending the best dishes that would have some crossover between my celiac husband and vegetarian me. I wish we could have stayed much longer and lingered over our meal but we carried our "woes" and gratitude out with us and will definitely be back soon.

4 of us shared small plates and enjoyed them all. We had the cauliflower, the hand pies, flatbreads, and hummus

Love, love, loved this place. The food was delusions! We started with the pomegranate walnut dish and the baba ganoush. Very good. Very tasty. I had the vegetarian eggplant dish... wow the flavors!! The tomatoes were amazing, the sauce... amazing. The flavor explosion was just unforgettable. We had the chocolate covered dates for desert. Perfect sweetness to end the meal. Again, very flavorful. I can’t wait to come back to this place! Highly recommended. 😊

This place is a really great deal for happy hour. Their pitas are the best I've had anywhere--super soft, freshly baked, and they bring a large stack of them instead of just 2-3 per order. Highly recommend the hummus, muhammara, and the harra frites. Couldn't stop eating it. Happy hour is a good deal. We ordered about 5 items and it was more than 4 of us could eat for dinner. We ate at the bar and the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit, chatting with us and offering advice on what to order. I can't speak highly enough of this place and can't wait to go back.

We had a 6:15 PM reservation and were seated immediately. The food was super and the service really top notch. Every dish was described in detail by our server as we have never eaten Syrian food. The server even knew from where we had travelled having been informed by the hostess. The prices were reasonable and actually were about 1/2 of what we paid at a previous mediocre restaurant. This place is a must visit if you enjoy more adventurous eating. Comfortable surroundings, interesting art, excellent food and perfect service (Trent was our server—thanks, Trent.)

We enjoyed the food and the service. But we were very disappointed that we were seated in a area where we couldn't order wraps which was one of the reasons we picked the restaurant. The excuse by the waitee was that you have to sit at the family table or counter seating. It didn't as far as we know indicate this on the website. A disappointing evening not being able to order these Lebanese wraps. However what we dkd order was tasty.

This is a leek and fashionable place serving decent middle-eastern food. Most of what we had was tasty; service was friendly.

The portions were small. We ordered two of he wraps and I got the lamb one. I figured, I wasn't too hungry and a wrap for around $15ish would be fine for dinner. It came out and it was the size of an appetizer. My partner's chicken one came out but it was cold and we had to send it back for a fresh one. The food tasted fine, just disappointed in the portions.

Our server was fantastic, attentive, knowledgeable and did not hurry us (he read the situation brilliantly) as we had a chilled out date night with amazing, delicious food and cocktails. Mamnoon delivers again, thank you!

They advertise as middle eastern food. I grew up on Lebanonese food. We ordered Kibbe with a side of taboule and extra sauce. The Kibbe had been baked in individual servings. (Faster baking I suppose). Thought it was a small serving but it was a deep pan Best Kibbe ever and I have eaten a lot. Wife wanted blakava for dessert and it too was the best ever.

After eating out every meal for a week in Seattle we stumbled onto this restaurant. It was definitely the best meal we had while we were here and we tried many good restaurants. The baba ghanoush was scrumptious. The hummus was as good as any we have ever had. The Fried cauliflower was absolutely delicious. The salatat bulgar could not have been better. In addition, the warm, what looked like hand slung, pita bread went great with everything. It is very vegetarian friendly as well as vegan friendly.

We tried Ghalieh Mahi and it was absolutely amazing and very close to traditional taste of that. Service and atmosphere of restaurant were very good as always.

Great Takeaway ordered by my son - the labne, hummus & baba ganouj were all incredibly tasty - even the next day - with their house made pita that is a cut above other middle eastern eateries. The lamb dish is probably more impressive in the restaurant. The cauliflower was very tasty, but again better in the restaurant. The Fattoush was a disappointment. None of the depth and herby goodness we expected. Our mixed vegetables were nice but nothing impressive. Post pandemic - I would definitely give it another shot as I think this kind of food is really on display in a restaurant on platters. Servings were generous. All around very good, and I would definitely return.

Super tasty original Lebanese food and cool neighborhood. The staff was awesome friendly. Great place to be. The whole family liked my choice 😂

What a great place to eat. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I know I didn't want typical Italian, Mexican or 'some kind of Asian'. This hit the spot perfectly. Easy to get to, not a huge wait, the hostess made sure we were seated quickly (and even moved a few reservations around for us to have a table). Service was bang on, quick efficient but not over the top and made us feel very comfortable. The food was amazing. Fresh yet satisfying, so tasty and unique. I felt perfectly satiated, but not so overfed that I was unhappy when I left. The perfect balance. Flavours were amazing and perfect blend. Decor was great and the place felt a nice balance of class, style and comfort. Go here while you're in Seattle, then thank me later.

Amazing food. Did not get the complete restaurant experience as I went for lunch, but great service (limited seating for lunch). Can't wait to experience dinner as the layout is quaint. Finally, best soup I've EVER had in Seattle (12 years and counting). The red lentil soup is a MUST.

The menu items are familiar but the execution is far above the usual for meze. Chicken and kofte were stellar and cocktails were subtle and delicious. Fun decor and skillful service, and they take reservations

Was so excited to visit Mamnoon on this visit to Seattle but perhaps I set my sites too high. The food is delicious, unique and tasty, but I was disappointed in the service and the venue. I made reservations a month prior for my birthday. When our group of 4 entered at 5:30 the crowd was very thin and we were given a table in the very back made up of two small cocktail tables. Hardly a space for a plate. We went with it anyway and within an hour all the tables were full, but to me this felt like a walk-in table, not a table when you reserve for your birthday. All the food is yummy and they are small plates indeed. The only food fail for us was the much touted Cauliflower which came burnt - not fried and they kindly removed that charged - which was the right thing to do. But the service, although fast, wasn't friendly at all. I felt somewhat rushed and it wasn't very comfortable. Maybe we just hit a very busy off service night. I agree with most reviews about the the food, but it's not a 5-star in my book because with the expensive prices, I expect a proper table and excellent service. A 3.5 start on this visit for me.

This food is really excellent at Mamnoon. The ambiance is good and the service is very good. It was my first visit to Mamnoon. We had a red wine from Chinon, France. Very good! The hummus and baba ganoush were both excellent, as was the fattoush. I shared the fatteh bademjan as my mine dish, and it was wonderful.

The food was awesome. We look for opportunities to eat at Mamnoon and are in love with the food here. However, very very long wait times on most days and the staff seems a little curt perhaps because they are so busy. But what they might lack in promptness of service and warmth they make up for it with quality and delectable food!

We went with a large group. Excellent food to share. Great dishes. We asked for advice what to have for diner and that really went all the way! Friendly staff

The build out is smart and lively and spacious. The service is friendly and attentive. The Lebanese pilsner clean and cold. And the food, delicious and very reasonably priced. This will be a multiple repeat. Next visit will have to be dinner! The dinner menu looks beautiful.

I tried the three of their man'oushe (arabic bread baked with toppings, served wrapped with fillings). The lahm bi ajine (lamb filling) was amazing. A perfect blend of smooth tender lend with a spicy taste. The za'atar (veg fillings) Again fresh fillings and good level of spices and herbs put in. The jibneh wi za'atar (veg fillings with mozarella) Again fresh fillings but may taste a bit bland because of the cheese. They were a bit late with the last order and the dish became a bit cold but the taste was still good.

Overrated dining and overall experience by those not aware of this establishment’s hidden charges. After not being impressed by appetizers my wife and I decided to just have a couple of cocktails. To our shock and dismay, Mamnoon slipped in an up-charge on each martini- no warning, no discloser. What was worse, when we brought it to the server’s attention we got the “It’s policy” garbage, and “there’s nothing I can do” attitude. Unbelievable! What a way to run a subpar, underhanded business.

We were recommended this Lebanese restaurant in Seattle . The main area is quiet noisy and the other room is tight with small tables . The food is ok . I would have liked more mese. Appetizers. Greek and Turkish restaurants have similar dishes .

Took my mum there for her 70th Birthday, she is the harshest critic in here own right. She totally approved all the way to the incredible desert of a crystallised water mellon toffee creation. Wish I left more room for desert as I was so full after the mashawi - mixed grill, they even bought out a free round of Arak for her birthday ..

Had brunch at Mamnoon the morning after my daughter's wedding. We had about 9 different dishes, each more delicious than the last. We were a very large group and the service we received was excellent.

Came for lazy/late brunch at the weekend around 1pm. Dining area was larger than expected when you come in from the street with an eclectic North African vibe & dim lighting. Had great expectations but... Brunch menu pretty limited. Food was ok but could do with some more seasoning/spice – we had chicken shawarma; awarma (eggs with minced lamb) & sobhaneh. Hummus serving on the small side & comes with 3 small 3” pittas. Service could be more attentive - two of the dishes arrived together, the shawarma arrives 6 mins later.

For so long my brother in law have tucked me into going to Mamnoon. However, the last time I was in Seattle, there were no available reservations and I couldn't go. This time, my sister's in laws and I were visiting my sister (who just gave birth) in the hospital. I called and there were no available reservations, so I explained the hostess I came from Pennsylvania and I wanted dearly to try the restaurant. She had an opening for us and she took my reservation. We drunk a wine from their reserve. The bottle was imported from Lebanon, I believe. We ordered very delicious and authentic food. The place was cozy and trendy. Our waitress was knowledgeable of the wine and the dishes. As I am a connaisseur of Lebanese food, I could tell this was very original cuisine.

The food at Mamnoon is quite delicious! We hav never been disappointed when eating here. On our last visit we had the baba ganoush with pita bread, the arnabeit mail (fried cauliflower), batata harra (crispy potatoes) and the mammon taouk. All were delicious and well presented. Very ample portions, we could not finish any of it. Also they have a good cocktail and wine list. We find them to be reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Service is somewhat slow or lackluster is the only complaint we have.

This restaurant is AMAZING omg. Big thanks to the front of house for making our time safe and welcoming in the restaurant. And the food was incredible. I loved the fatteh. The asparagus is delicious and worked so well with the fried pita and yogurt sauce. I could eat that all day everyday. But pretty much everything was amazing, such as the arnabeit makli. You haven't had a crispy cauliflower dish until you've eaten their arnabeit makli. Seriously, go eat there and support this excellent restaurant and their great staff!

I wandered by this restaurant while in the area on a weekend and decided to give it a try, and was super impressed! It's deceptively large, as you can't see a lot of the seating area from the street, but it's there's plenty of seating in here. Even though I didn't have a reservation, I was able to get a table fairly quickly (I waited maybe 5-10 minutes). The menu is surprisingly affordable given the restaurant's central location, and the food is delicious! I had a falafel and baba ghanoush, both of which were sublime. The food came out pretty quickly, but were still fresh and tasty. The seating area is a bit noisy, as this place seems to be a popular hangout, but it wasn't so noisy that I couldn't hear myself think. The lighting was a bit low, but still provided plenty of light to see.

Good Middle Eastern food that was neither inspiring or spicy. Beverages were expensive and service was excellent.

Though our experience wasn't top notch, I still recommend the restaurant. The menu is OK, diverse enough but a tad limited (the current trend). Food ranged from really good to meh. The flavors and spice profiles of the dishes we had were a bit muted for our tastes, perhaps to accommodate American palettes. Maybe some customers prefer this. Baby Ganoush was excellent, as was the skewered chicken thigh - very tender and moist. However, the bread was gummy and cold. The ground beef & lamb was dry and overcooked. Service was uneven. Not bad, just erratic - as was the pacing of our meal. Maybe an off night? Ambience is casual. I would not suggest it for a special dinner, but perfect for meeting friends or just a night out.

1. Fried cauliflower was amazing! Lightly fried and light sauce. perfect to share for two as part of the meal. 2. Hummus to start with warm pita. yum! 3. Kefta with dates - well presented and the flavors were spot on. We appreciated the spicy sauce we asked for on the side as it would have been too bland for us (we are two southern gals who love good food and spicy food). 4. borek -baked phyllo pastries filled with greens. Could eat these for days!! 5. Mocktail #3 - citrus, ginger and .... good stuff. To note - this is a wonderful place to dine with larger groups it seems. Was so loud with two tables near us that we actually had to stop our conversation because it was so incredibly loud. The The restaurant was very full and I'm not certain if there was another table to move us too. If I return - I might look to go much earlier or later to avoid this situation. Food was tasty. Ambience was on point. Service was good. Too busy eating to take pictures on this one!

This seems to be a "know what to order" kind of a place. This is problematic too though because I believe the menu changes. I picked this restaurant based on their online menu which is not accurate. Also, they were not serving the dessert I wanted the most. The dessert I did have was a tiny peace of baklava (or baklawa as they spelled it) that was not worth it. On the other hand, their hummus might be the best I have ever had. Our group of friends all shared from each other's plates so I was able to try all of the main dishes on their menu. I liked the chicken kebabs though there were mixed reviews from the rest of my table. We all agreed the duck was phenomenal and we would order that if we came back. It is hard to cook duck, so apparently someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing! The other dishes were just okay, not really worth the price. The service was average but the atmosphere was exceptional. I would come back here if someone else wanted to try it and I would order the duck if possible. But with so many other places to try in Seattle, I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

Found this gem searching for a restaurant where we could satisfy the Vegan and the Meat eaters in our group. Fabulous flavors and every bite was delicious. We shared many small plates from the Happy Hour menu: Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Muhammara, Halloumi cheese, falafel, two flat breads ( Vegan and Goat) ..... every bite was delicious. 4 people, enough food to fill us, 4 glasses of wine: $97 Service was kind, thoughtful and attentive. Will definitely return. Next time, I want to sit outside on their “deck” with twinkle lights.

I had high hopes for this place and boy I was disappointed The food was OK but it is not Syrian nor Lebanese. The Fateh was awful . The fires were awful. The falafel was OK No let's move to the service , the waiter was rude and looks like he hated his job for some reason not friendly at all Won't go there again

Located in a trendy neighborhood on Pike and First Hill, this gem is well known with locals and a great stop for visitors. We’ve come here before and never disappointed, the staff is friendly and not pushy even when busy. My one complaint this time is the steak kebab was rare and they didn’t ask how I’d like it cooked. Still a tasty dish but I like mine a bit on the well done side and I’ll ask next time. Appetizers were hummus, fresh pita bread, hand made dolma, and tabulah was excellent. Call for a table as it fills up fast, don’t forget the Lebanese craft beer and wine!

The food was very good and the service was also very good. There were not a lot of choices on the menu and the portion size for the vegetarian options was small. Also, the menu on the website isn’t necessarily the menu of the day in the restaurant. I was looking forward to one thing, and it wasn’t on their dinner menu that day. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a bit dark.

This is the right place for mezze. You'll want to try a wide variety of the small plates, both familiar and not, with the best pita ever. I particularly recommend the walnut paste based mezze as well as the beet, and the eggplant (heavenly). Oh, the chilled cucumber yoghurt soup is also not to be missed, and the staff was happy to split a bowl for two. The menu lends itself to sharing and vibrant conversation, and we didn't see a single phone out.

We celebrated an adult daughter's birthday at Mamoon and had an excellent experience. Great, interesting food and terrific service. Loved the beets and the quinoa. Interesting small desserts

This was on the short list for dinner for us when planning our trip but got cut at the end because they were closed for the night we wanted since it was a holiday. However, we arrived to city earlier than planned and were able to go there for an early dinner and boy, were we glad that worked out!! They did not have seats available in the main room so we sat at a little counter facing the street which was even better. The food was delicious, interesting and prepared perfectly. We had a number of small plates, mostly vegetarian, and could not decide which we liked best. The only regret we have was not having enough time to go back!! It’s popular so suggest you make a reservation but if you can’t get one, they also have a take out window with a limited menu of items that you can enjoy at on outside counter.

This is really the worse food I ever had in my whole life, nothing to do with the Middle East food and the quality of the materials is really bad

Big choice of Middle East food, appetizers very tasty, main course has Vegan,Lamb,Chicken and Scallops..attentive service..but VERY NOISY

Perfect lunch spot in trendy Capitol Hill. Our party of five ordered many different dishes and I got to sample them all; delicious, super fresh and reasonably priced.

Some of the dishes and flavours were interesting, but overall I would have to rate it as not very exciting for a restaurant of this kind. The dolmeh were very good, but other than that we weren't overly impressed. The service was slow and disinterested, possibly, they were having difficulty coping with a busy saturday night. In addition, we found it quite expensive.

Great Mediterranean food. Absolutely delicious, best I have eaten. Good wine selections Casual ambience Good service Bottom line. Highly recommended

Baba ghanoush, lamb and cheese breads, labneh- all fresh and delicious. We generally get to go but also love their take out, which is always fresh. They make their pita in house - watching them take it out of the oven makes you want to stay and eat it all day!

I enjoyed a chicken shawarma for lunch. Delicious, perfect portion size and reasonably priced. With an option for either indoor or outside seating I can see why this is a popular neighborhood spot.

excellent middle eastern food. Loved all the flavors . Good place to eat inside or for take out dishes.

One of the restaurants that I keep going back to. Lebanese food always well prepared, and an interesting wine list featuring Lebanese wines, skin-contact whites made in the traditional style, and others along that vein.

We had dinner with a goup of 15. Nice restaurant but only very small tables. Food was interestiung Arabian style. Drinks are very standard

One of Seattle's top restaurants, award-winning but it's our favorite. Fantastic service and the food is absolutely phenomenal. We are big fans and dine there every time we come to Seattle...and we dine all over the world. It's high ratings are wholly deserved. Vegans will also love this place.

We had lunch at Mamnoon today at 11:30. The hummus was fantastic: chickpea fritters, tahini, lemon, garlic and Aleppo. Just the right amount of oil, and there where whole chickpeas as well. Nice touch. The shawarma had spiced chicken, lettuce, tomatoe, pickled peppers, roasted garlic sauce. Glad we split this, as it was plenty large enough for two people. The lentil soup had turmeric, coriander, served with crispy Arabic bread. The flat bread with zaatar, cheese, tomato, olives parsley, and mint was terrific. We had that served flat, not in a wrap. The coffee was really wonderful. This Lebanese food is spicy but not hot. We like hot sauce and their homemade is: harissa, za’atar, mayo, tarrator, Harra ketchup. The best we have ever had.

Party of four food snobs. We'd heard about this place forever, but hadn't made it in for dinner yet (had had manousch'e etc, which were excellent) Started with cocktails and could've stopped there, they were so good. But luckily we forged on with a series of appetizers. The range of flavors and textures was mindblowing. The pita bread that accompanied the hummus, baba ganoush, etc, was nutty and delicate. No one at the table is a beet lover but we did try the shamandar bi tahini -- to our surprise not one of us (each of whom had bragged about how little we like beets) could come up with a credible excuse for not liking it (round about way of saying we did). There was a concerted effort by everyone to get enough of the muhammara (a walnut and pepper paste), which was delicious. We had a lamb shank with eggplant which was killer. On the average to meh side was the grill platter, which we shared. All of this was accompanied by a bottle of Lebanese Syrah which was less full bodied and slightly more tannic than we had expected but it was pleasant and accompanied the food well. Dessert was baklava, with which the 2 who ate it were pleased, and the batikh thalej, a watermelon snow over honeyed yogurt with pistachio toffee. For full disclosure, I skip dessert most of the time. Many things are much sweeter than I like, or I've filled up on savory things, cocktails and wine. However, our helpful waiter suggested this was a "don't miss it" opportunity and after having tried it, I was so glad I had. The combination of flavors, textures, temperatures and scents was amazing. I'll be back for that sometime soon.

We visited with family. ambience is good.stuff are friendly but less item for main course We order chulo kabab and mahi fish (soAked eye salmon) both were delicious They don't have private parking.you need to find public parking or nesr by garage parking

We stopped for a light dinner and happened to be there for happy hour which is between 4-6 PM. The happy hour menu is only available on the street menu and requires you to eat at the community tables in the front of the restaurant or on the tables outside. We shared three items off menu and kept price under $20. Had the hummus, harras frites, and lamb Manaeesh. All dishes were very good, frites maybe a little too spicy but couldn't stop eating them. The regular dining menu was less appealing to me, would have been nice to order off the happy hour menu and be able to sit in restaurant itself.

,, as an Israeli citizen, I felt that I had come home, I like it Eats the right flavors, the right seasoning, batteries, just ten out of ten. Excellent service and staff. The trouble is the time due to the corona only from the shavings ,

Here's an interesting fact: tastebuds don't live that long before they're replaced - so treat them right and eat here! Fantastic Middle Eastern food full of flavors from the bold to the sublime. Everything was fantastic, but a particular call out to the moushakal (an appetizer plate with hummus and other spreads) that was perfection. The service was outstanding as well. Reccomend in the highest possible terms.

We used to love coming here for the personalized service and excellent cuisine but our recent experience was disappointing. We were a group of 9, so we were forced to have the fixed menu (without asking us for our preferences) which contained bountiful vegetables but very little meat. As hosts we didn't have the meat so that our guests could enjoy it, but clearly that should not be the case. For 9 people we were served 8 small pieces of chicken, 8 prawns and 2 lamb shanks. Lots of vegetables - mounds and mounds of cauliflower - but the balance was ridiculous for us 9 meat eaters. It was a cold February night and our table received blasts of frigid air constantly as people came and went. Our waitress could not be less interested in making sure all was well and that hurt the most since we have been coming here since it opened.

Two friends and I ate a wonderful dinner here on a busy Saturday night. The food and service were lovely. The same "food runner" made several trips to bring our apps and entrees to the table. Unfortunately, we stopped in the restroom on our way out. The same food runner who had served us our meal was exiting a bathroom stall, and waltzed by us without washing her hands on the way out the door. I alerted the hostess to the fact that the food runner used the restroom without washing her hands, and was hastily dismissed. No apology or attempt at explanation was given. It was a distasteful end to what should have been a wonderful dining experience.

We were a little stunned at how flavorful, unique, and colorful the food was. We knew the food would be good, but the depth of flavors and spice were divine. The cocktails were sublime. Mint, cucumber, and a hint of cardamom in our crushed ice drink went down nicely. We hope to go back here soon. It looked as if they a side room for smallish celebrations. A birthday, or event party with dinner would be fun here.

Good food. Little expensive ($180 for 4 people). Good ambiance. I had the libneh to start with , which was great. Then we had an appetizer called moushakal and arnabeit makli both of which were to die for. Had the chicken taouk for the main meal. It was alright - I have had better. Can be a little noisy at times.

Either I was so hungry that my judgment was clouded, or this was one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Stopped by for lunch and it was delicious! Friendly service, reasonable price, and very quick.

Delicious fresh ingredients make this a winner. Had the Muhammara (walnut, pepper paste, garlic, cumin, pomegranate spread), a delicious lentil soup, a rich yoghurt and mint, and ended with a small baklava with pistachios and orange blossom flavors. This is food done with care and is well above average.

Two of us ate here for sort of in between lunch and dinner. The harry frites were really good, came with two house made dipping sauces. One of us had za'atar with chicken add on (a bit more $$) and that was very good. The other of us had lahm bi ajine and regretted not adding meat of some sort. Service decent but prices seemed tad steep for lunch ($44 for two with one glass of wine and iced tea). All in all certainly worth another try but competition is fierce in Seattle area so many other good options.

Outdoor eating with large open doors that lets the outside in if you're near the front of the restaurant. We shared small plates and thought the food was really good. If interested, it's a half block from the Starbuck's Reserve, so you may want to have dessert there!

Stumbled upon this place on our short trip to Seattle; very good service and amazing food! (Especially the hummus; and we know our way around hummus :)) Top recommendation!

I would have rated this higher because the food was very good. However, our server tried to talk us into way too much food for 4 persons. We kept our senses and ordered 3 small plates and 1 entree. This was plenty. He wanted us to order 4 small plates and 4 entrees! We saw him doing this to other customers as well. Also, all the food came very quickly. So we were still enjoying the apps when the main entree arrived. Waiter was pushy and also tried to hustle us out the door by rudely pointing to the check we had not yet paid (after less than 10 minutes). I know this is only one person but if left a bad taste for the all of us in the party. So if you go just be mindful and take your time!

We went the for lunch and there was not much to order, just some entrees and apps. The taste is good but not very libaneese, so it’s good food but not what we’ve expected.

I'm Palestinian and my boyfriend is Persian and we both found the food extraordinary. I'm a HUGE snob when it comes to hummus and this was VERY good hummus. The falafel and the Turkish coffee were also excellent.

This is a great place and I would highly recommend it if you are traveling to Seattle. Location: Very close to downtown Seattle right off of Pike st, across the street from Starbucks Reserve Roastery, and tasting room which is amazing. Atmosphere: Is well decorated, but very relaxed and comfortable. The front in the summer is open when the restaurant is full has a great atmosphere of friendship, and great energy. Food: The menu has an amazing and Vegan eaters will love it. There are a lot of small plates to choose from and their pita is fresh and yummy. One of my favorite dishes is the fried cauliflower so amazing, and their braised lamb is full of spices and love. This is one of my favorites in Seattle.

Loved this place. Uber stylish and great food - Lebanese type style and everything we had super tasty. Also impressed that they made a very little mistake and so gave us our starter for free - nice touch. Was busy and we didn't book - we managed to get a table after a short wait but would recommend booking then you are not disappointed.

We stopped here for lunch with relatively few expectations, but were all really impressed with the food. We were looking for a lunch place where we could get a light meal, but linger to talk as we were meeting a friend for lunch and didn't want to feel rushed. Mamnoon turned out to be perfect. The restaurant is fairly large, is well designed, and has a relaxed but upscale feeling. There were not many people there for lunch, so the atmosphere was quiet and the service was genuine and attentive. We ordered the baba ghanoush, the shamander bitahini (which was grated beets, yogurt and tahini) served with warm pita bread. And we also shared the Za'atar and Lahm bi ajine which were very light Middle Eastern style pizzas. The first you could add ingredients to if you wished, but was otherwise a middle eastern spiced pizza. The other had an earthy taste from the ground lamb and spices. Both were delicious and perfect as a light lunch. The baba ghanoush was delicious and the beet mezze was also really lovely. I love beets, but still wasn't sure what to expect and the shamander bitahini was tasty, light, and perfect for a hot day in June. I also tried their mint lemonade which was refreshing and a perfect mixture of the lemon and mint. As a side note, as we were visiting Seattle as tourists, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery, a very popular tourist destination, is right across the street from Mamnoon in the Capitol Hill area. We stopped in briefly and it was super bustling.

This place is huge! For more intimate seating you can sit in back. Up front there is a communal table. The bar area is also good if stopping in for a briefer visit. The fried cauliflower was a standout as was the kefta. We didn’t have room for dessert but saw those who ordered and looked amazing, especially the batik.

Shared a great dinner with friends for the Holidays. The restaurant has two parts, in a is a takeout in front and has a different menu on inside. We sat at a nice table in the back, the service was friendly, informative and efficient. The appetizer were fantastic. Lots of stuff to share. I had the fish entree and it was delicious. A mix of Mediterranean and Mid-East fusion. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The cocktail menu and the wine list were excellent. I had a Lebanese white wine that was crisp and dry. The prices are pretty high, but so are all the prices in Seattle, so this place is on par for the city.

We stopped here to grab a snack during happy hour. All the small plates we tried were really good and the prices were excellent.

Went to Sunday lunch after being in Persian Gulf for last ten days. Mamnoon delivered on tasty Middle Eastern food similar to the food in the region. Hummus, falafel, babaganoush and za'tar bread were all delicious. Reem, twin sister of owner, was friendly and made menu suggestions. Turkish coffee and baklava top off this prefect Sunday lunch in heart of Seattle.

Atmosphere was very trendy and inviting. Food was unique, well presented and very tasty but the portions were small and prices were high relative to other restaurants. Service was good but a bit disorganized. Our pita bread came out first followed by one of our entrees, the stuffed peppers. The baba ganoush to go with the pita came out after the entree. Draft beers appeared to be only 12 oz instead of our usual expectation of 16oz.The salatet fattoush for $12 was easily sharable but the mujadara stuffed peppers for $24 were a small portion for 1. We shared them and shared the lamb kebab $31 but that was not enough for 2 hungry people. The baba ganoush was tasty but the small bowl of pita was not adequate to scoop it up and extra pita was $3 (ordered 2). For desert, we ordered 2 baklava at $3 each. They were delicious but only about 1" square. The profiterole was delicious and would have been great but seemed overpriced at $12. We shared it but it was really a portion for 1. Most of the drinks and the wines by the glass were in the $14-15 range. We had a very enjoyable dinner for about $133 before tax and tip. It was a nice experiences but we did not feel any compelling reason to return after our new Paramount excursion. We will keep looking for new restaurants to try.

The culinary highlight of our trip to Seattle, excellent food , although a little on the pricey side for the meze entree.
Overpriced
While the food was decent enough, it was certainly not worth the price. It was way too expensive for two shawarmas. Having said that, the service staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful.
