Nice Place

By Aurora M |

Is a nice place for drinks and something to eat. The service is very good and the prices are ok. Friendly atmosphere!

Great place to eat out.

By Bob W |

This is a very good place to eat. It is very close to Dallas Love Airport and has a broad menu. You can sit indoor's or outside. I always go there when I'm in town and I get a discount because I'm a USAF Veteran too.

Not Impressed

By kidflemingo |

I was in town for work and a customer suggested that i eat here and have the burnt end chili. I have to say that I was ot impressed. The service was horrible. I coudl not taste anything that resembled burnt ends. It tasted like it just had plain beef in it. After the chili I thought i would try the bananna bread pudding and it took at least 20 minutes for it to come out and then I onl y got it because I tracked down my waitress to ask for the check. I told her that I was tired of waiting. SHe talked me into staying and having it and it was very good. I am not sure if I woudl go back but if I do I will order something else and hopefully the service will be better.

Great food and friendly staff

By Caroline B |

We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel and found Maple Landing. The seating is partially enclosed but there were heaters in the porch seating. The staff offered to close the garage style doors which was helpful and kind. We ordered the southwest humus for starters and for the meal has the Turkey burger with slaw, the brisket sandwich with elite and Brussel sprouts and the brisket and sausage plate which was served with a cornbread muffin. Everything was delicious and the food was served fast! The music was a bit heavy for our taste but it didn’t hinder our experience. We would visit again!

Worst service ever

By Michael K |

The service is slow here. Incredibly slow. If I hadn’t had a drink at its beginning would have already walked out. Waiting over an hour and still no food. It would have to be out of this world to be worth it. There are other places like this all over the Dallas area. Go to them instead of this one.

Brisket Poutine, need I say more?

By naturetack |

Just say the magic words - "brisket poutine" - and I am sold. It's a fun area to go with friends to hang out inside, or outside on the patio. There's plenty of TVs, so a great place to catch whatever sports game is currently happening. Service is always quick and friendly when I've gone.

Lunch Flight Done Right

By julesmelrose |

Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts and prepare to satisfy your tummy! I just popped in for lunch on a rainy day. This place is really new and they are still working out some of the customer service logistic kinks like training and phone orders. I ordered a 737 hamburger with everything on it including pickles. What I got was a hamburger with remnants of cheese (they removed it when I saw the bill and reminded them I ordered no cheese) and instead of pickles I was surprised by fresh jalapenos. I like jalapenos, so for me it was a pleasant little bonus even if it wasn't what I ordered. There was a large pickle in my cute to-go box too! Yay! My server was very kind and still learning the business, so no worries. That being said, the burger looked and tasted amazing, and the crispy, sweet potato waffle fries were a tasty side. The food looked amazing, was good quality, packaging was cute, and the value on point. Lets talk ambience! This restaurant has a quirky travel/airline theme which I loved. Vintage suitcases decorate the walls, and a make shift airliner fills part of the waiting area. There are fun sketches of airplanes on the wall behind the bar which creates the perfect travel vibe for this cute eatery near Love Field airport. There's a patio to enjoy during good weather, and plenty of seating inside as well. It may get crowded during lunch and happy hour, so drop in at an odd time or a rainy day for quicker service. It's the perfect lunch or dinner destination before or after your next flight, or for those who just want to take a day-cation for a great meal!

Smooth landing.

Attended a party here with some whiskey tasting and appetizers. The staff was awesome! Good service throughout the evening. Nice selection of both whiskey and beer. Cool atmosphere, partially open air. Very relaxed. Only sampled the poutine, and it was addictive. Highly recommend for a drink and appetizer.

Great food, friendly service

Delicious brisket platter, locally owned, outdoor and indoor seating, wonderful tiny corn muffins, and tasty sweet potato fries. I find their sides to be unique and a nice change.

Much Better This Time

By kidflemingo |

I had eaten here a few years ago and I was really not impressed the first time but this time was much better. The service was 10 times better and I really enjoyed the dish I ordered. I am very glad that I gave it another try and I will be back on my next trip to Dallas.

Patio on a spring day

By Girlhistorian |

A friend and I were looking for a patio with good food, and we found it at Maple Landing. We both got salads and raved about how good they were. I got the Silver Bowl, with chopped romaine, bacon bits, grapes, orange slices, red bell peppers, spicy chicken, and two dressings--balsamic vin & caesar. It was super tasty. The service was attentive without hovering, and the covered seating felt safe and friendly at the same time.

Great Lunch

By Bob W |

We had lunch here and the food and atmosphere was great. Aircraft themed and they offer a 50% discount for military or veterans. We will be coming back to this restaurant for sure. They even make there own chips tortilla chips

Perfect spot for a great meal

Went for lunch before our return home – it is near Love field. Really enjoyed it. The food was great and we all loved what we had and shared. The sides were huge and each was worth it.

Mouthwatering burgers

By SydGTexas |

On my way to Love Field and had an extra hour. Used my Yelp friends do find a good burger place that was close and good. Well….you surely didn’t let me down this time 🌟 There’s two restaurants next to each other so pretty convenient. Walked right in and loved the interior. It’s very comfortable and even though it’s a BBQ place mostly it seems like a down home bar that’s upscale. I was able to order pretty quickly and chose the Patty melt and substituted a side salad for anything fried. Then added a side of their brussel sprouts. Very impressed with the side salad. The lettuce was fresh and great ingredients. OMG 😱 the Brussels were soooooo good. Just a bit of a bite but sweet too. Just the right touch. Then comes the patty melt. That burger was huge and very obviously handmade and fresh. Oozing with juices and in between two wonderful pieces of looked like rye bread. That burger was out of this world good. Really!!!! The flavors just popped everytime I took a bite. Of course the carmelized onions and Swiss cheese just made it that much better. I live in Fort Worth but will definitely come back here with my wife!

Brunch on a Rainy Day

By Candice E |

Very much a neighborhood/casual feel. Food was soooo good. Drinks were well balanced. The Bloody Mary Bar was like a buffet of neat things! Lol! Staff was so nice and accommodating. Bathrooms clean. I will definitely come back with more friends.

Delicious neighborhood spot

The food was excellent! The restaurant was comfortable, nice outdoor seating, cool game room, TVs for game watching, and good service.

Wonderful airplane hanger atmosphere with a great food and drink menu

By CraftBeers |

I like this place. It fits everything that I want in a restaurant. First and foremost, it's not loud. Their is background music, but it's kept low enough that you can have a conversation without raising your voice. There is not a dull roar of people talking either. The airline decor infused with craft beer and bourbon barrel artwork speaks to me. There is a fuselage façade at the entrance of the bathrooms. A huge airplane mural fills another wall. Hanging everywhere are local craft brewery signs and bourbon barrel tops. It's great. Service was slow and unassuming. At first, it seemed a little off-putting, but the steady constant attention with sincerity won me over. It matched the low quiet tone of the place. I liked my food order. It was four stars in both flavoring and pricing. I had the sausage and brisket plate. The brisket was perfectly cooked. It came apart with a firm tug as it should. The chipotle potato salad rocked. I've not had that before. The side bowl of fruit was huge and much appreciated. The craft beer menu is not extensive, but I am happy to see they have an offering. The bourbon selection is nice and reasonably priced. I would definitely return. The restaurant is attached to Social Pie the pizza joint. Parking could be an issue if both places are packed. I was here on a Tuesday night, so it was perfect for me.

Best Barbecue Sandwich.

By Joel S |

1st time in. Very relaxed, casual place. Service was good and friendly and I enjoyed a blueberry mojito. I highly recommend the sliced beef barbecue sandwich. Had great, smoked flavor; probably one of the best I have had in awhile.

Brisket was amazing

By Yvonne D |

Perfect spot on brisket, would like to have had more than two small slices for the meal. Great whiskey selection and great local beers.

Great little local place

By Carole |

We popped in here as we were looking at apartments and they sent us here. Really cute and cool Vibe with indoor and outdoor dining. Great service . I had a salad with avocado, chicken, and all sorts of corn and pork belly with a champagne vinaigrette. I added cilantro and it was good. A bit too much dressing but very tasty. My boyfriend got a mixed bbq plate with sausage and the brisket. The meats and the fries were just okay... but the elote was amazing .... so great. Nice neighborhood spot. Would go back again and try some different dishes . The manager stopped by a couple times to check on us. Good menu with lots of options.

THE BEST bar near Love Feild

By SLA0605 |

A dear friend introduced me to this place and I ended up going 4 times within a 2 week period taking several different people to spread the word. I LOVE the aviation theme! I work in the industry, so it particularly fun for me. There a great beer and custom cocktail collection, awesome happy hour, and the food...well... These guys are veteran Dallas restaurantuers for a reason, yall. The tagline says it all - beer, burgers, bourbon, and brisket. There's a good-sized patio in the front with over-sized Jenga. Indoors, you have your pick of bar stools set up around the 360 bar in the middle of the room, tall bar-height tables, traditional tables, as well a a few more intimate booths off the the side. In the back, I hear there's pool tables and/or shuffleboard, but I have yet to venture back that way. I like to park at the bar, eat, and drink. :-) Also, the service is quick and super friendly. Check it out when you're in the Love Field/Medical District area. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious food! Kind hearts!

By Tony B |

There was a small situation involving a server & their response to my family & I! I observed that the server had a chipper attitude & a positive interaction with another table but was indifferent to I & my family. I reported the situation to the Assistant GM Lexie. My waitress was amazing as was everyone! Assistant GM Alexis/Lexie is socially aware which I appreciate. To make up for the situation Lexie offered a dessert choice. My autistic son's favorite chocolate dessert to compensate for the situation. The GM is a lovely young mature man that treated us with Kindness & respect from the time we entered the establishment he did everything in his power to assist my family. The bar tender was amazing everyone treated us with respect & kindness. This place is clean, has lovely management! The brisket is awesome & according to my children the most delicious chocolate dessert. Maple Landing was like having a hidden family of helpers who are kind & extremely helpful! My autistic son loved everything & left completely stuffed! I'm from Chicago, where people can be a bit cold in nature. Texas has very kind, hospitable individuals! Maple Landing really does have an essence & an environment that will appeal to all! Ty, all 🙏🏻❤️ we made it home safely! -ALICIA BARNES

Worth a repeat - try it!

Breakfast items as well as burgers and sandwiches are a great change from the typical. Migas and elote are wonderful. Sandwiches each have a unique twist. Great combinations of flavors. Bloody Mary bar is super and craft beers varied and interesting. Fun staff too!

Just "plane" awesome

By disgruntledpelican |

OK... great food, friendly service AND an aviation theme? I'm SOLD! A friend had recommended them, and I now owe that friend lunch. The decor leans industrial, with lots of aviation puns and 737 references (being near Love Field will do that to you). The food was an unexpected delight, especially because I ordered barbecue. I am a total barbecue snob, so I was prepared to be underwhelmed. The brisket was on point! While it wasn't Central Texas BBQ joint quality, it was definitely far and away above what I expected from a burger joint. And the sides? Amazing. How about elote with your BBQ? A heaping serving filled with flavor? Coming right up! The service was prompt and friendly. The price was right too. I "luv" this place!

Great food!

By Danny S |

We had a group of four of us, and the first time here for all of us. After a little snafu with a Mimosa errantly made with grapefruit juice instead of orange, and taking quite a while to get returned (the only reason for not giving FIVE stars), the rest of the meal was great. Everyone enjoyed their brunch or lunch dishes. The Mimosas were delicious, and food was very tasty. The decor is casual and friendly, and the service was great. We will definitely return.

Ok

The service was good. The food was good but not great. I had a burger, nothing special. They are known for the brisket. Once was enough.

Buffalo Trace

Great energetic bar crew. Nice selection of $5 single-malts and bourbons at the bar. I had the hummus and pita / carrots appetizer which was awesome. Cold Beer - Good Times!

Awesome brisket tacos

By Timothy P |

Stranded in Dallas due to a cancelled flight and discovered Maple Landing walking distance from my hotel. Went there for the brisket tacos and was not disappointed. They were the stuff memories are made of and the servers’ recommendation of potato salad for my side was spot on. I will be back whenever I have a Dallas stop with a little extra time

Friends outing

By Greg E |

Good dinner and great outdoor atmosphere. Rochelle the manager came over to discuss our meal and just to converse. She was awesome and talked about how she'd been with the company for a while. In fact, she'd served the first pizza next door at Social Pie and served the first beer at Maple Landing. George our server was on top of everything and was not hovering over us. Friend had a salad and I had a brisket w gravy and fries dish. French name I think. Everything was delicious. I'll be back next time I get to Big D. Really 4.5 rating.
