Eating out on table 23-1 (outside on the canal) just a truly magical experience for Las Vegas. I love coming to this restaurant again and again. Always happy and thrilled with what I eat there.

So we had a party of 7 and we had extremely disappointing service from a very inexperienced waiter! We were asked if we wanted wine but was not provided a wine list… after reviewing the list it was apparent that the wine list was not selling by the bottle but rather a 3 or 5 oz glass. We were then told to walk the wine that sold in the front of the restaurant, again no one helped and in fact it seemed like like we’re were in the way of waiters bringing food out by being in this wine area. We ordered escargots and again no bread came with this item. We asked for bread again as the first basket had 6 pieces in it and we had 7 at our table. The wine was poured into the tasters glass, and then this glass was filled first which is completely wrong! I ordered the steak with fries medium and it was raw! It was not cooked at all and everyone at the table that’s way too raw to eat. I send it back and it came back still raw!! The inexperienced waiter also told us that things like the duck and the rack of lamb was off the menu because they had inexperienced cooks in the kitchen…. What the heck??? I am being polite with 2 stars I would not recommend this place nor will I likely go back!!

French Bistro with a beautiful man made lake view! I love this place during cold weather. Fireplace is keeping you warm while you are drinking your wine and eating your dinner. They have indoor seating also. Good service and good food. Not on the strip so most of their customers are locals. They have a wine store at the entrance. You pick your wine and they serve it.

This is a very lovely restaurant in the Lakes section of Las Vegas and the restaurant is actually on the lake. In the evening, it is quite charming to be outside or inside to share this wonderful view. We found the food quite exceptional. The service was very good too. A wonderful place for a birthday celebration or just a date night. You will enjoy the restaurant and the setting.

Whether a resident in LV or visiting I recommend this restaurant highly. All items made from scratch with excellent service. Nice setting on small inland lake. Also wine store where you can purchase a bottle to either drink with meal or rake home.

What a delightful gem on the lake at Desert Shores! You can browse and pick your wine from their extensive wine shop. Then done lakeside and watch the black swans and boat float by. They had great music on Saturday night when we were there too. Oh yes, by the way the food is amazing! Unusual dishes as well as traditional and great steaks. We loved our waiter Marty!

We had dinner on the patio with a nice view of the lake. Ordered appetizers and mains. The scallop crudo was very good with caviar. The escargot itself was good but the sauce on top was too salty. The pecan crusted fish was moist and flavorful with the corn relish. The venison was a big disappointment, bland with no flavor. Service was very good. 3.5*

This is a special place that produces a consistently interesting and varied menu. This time a friend and I had a Sunday brunch. Food was outstanding. Both of us ordered Eggs Benedict with crab lumps & asparagus, including a side Caesar salad. We each had a different starter: an onion soup and escargots in garlic butter. Did not sample their extensive alcoholic selection. But their wine selection toon is extensive and quite varied.

This was the forth year in a row we visited March Bacchus, I hosted a part of 12. Keep in mind, if you're staying on the strip, you'll need a taxi or Uber for about $45. As someone into wine, I enjoy the selection and "deal" on the wine. The food again this year was very good, the short rib was very good. While the setting is nice, the owner needs to put some time and money into maintenance. My guests were uncomfortably cold as the window wouldn't close because it was broke and the fireplace wouldn't work and when they put on the heaters we got uncomfortably hot. It seemed like it was either 60 until someone complained or it was 90 until someone complained. Many of the bulbs on the strands of lights were burned out and the place needs a good scrub. Like many others that have written reviews, I too found the owners and staff spending time with "regulars" while ignoring our party. Will we go back for a 5th time? We'll be watching the reviews from others until then. This is the first "poor" review I have written for a restaurant.

We chose this location for a wedding dinner for two on the recommendation of Coco from our chapel of flowers. A very cozy and calm place. Good for a romantic dinner. We are very grateful to the hospitality of the owner's wife - Vranda and her friends. The cuisine is excellent, the service is excellent, the staff is very helpful. We are delighted! We highly recommend it!

Nice to get off the Strip and have a good meal - we went for lunch on a Tuesday after flying in - it wasn't busy. We had a variety of meals - all good. Has the Lobster Croissant and Shrimp with Fava Beans - both great.

Marche Bacchus is a great French Bistro located Northwest of the Las Vegas Strip. It is a great local restaurant and wine store and YES it is located right on the water !

Fantastic night out great food wonderful service by Vincent no cookie, if you are in Vegas it’s a half our drive but it is worth it. Ther is only no cookie with the coffee, the rest was perfect. Thanks Vincent for a wonderful evening.

With the new Chef onboard this restaurant is not reviving it's old glory days it's blazing a new trail into the future and the food is great! The atmosphere is an eclectic mix of old world fire and rock with that sort-a new hip "we're back" vibe. Its in a neighborhood so it feels like you're probably rubbing shoulders with people who walked to the restaurant from their house, they are the locals they live here and they know this place, and that just feels kind of cool. I went there in the winter so there was no outside dining and it was dark, which made the fireplace and light from the fire lamps glow with that cozy Hearthside feeling. Our party of five had four appetizers, five entrées, and four desserts with several bottles from the wine store and 100% were all knockouts, seriously not one miss. Be adventurous go for it family-style share some dishes if you like that idea and you won't be disappointed. One word of caution, if you're expecting an austere French experience this is not that kind of place, it's French influenced and it's casually upscale. Know what you're getting into, go to buy a bottle from the wine store and enjoy it with your meal or maybe a Champagne and wine and dessert wine extravaganza. If you want mixed drinks this just isn't the right place this is a food and beverage pairing specialty meal.

I found this restaurant on Thrillist and was so excited to try it while visiting! Somehow my reservation through Open Table got swapped to Sunday and we had a group of 6, they were very accommodating and got us a table right away. We picked out our wine from their collection in the bar and made our way to our table! The ambiance was so great and our service was TOP NOTCH! Marty took care of us and I literally would pay money to have a manager that cared this much about his place of work! I have worked in a bar for 16 years and only have had one manager that could keep up with Marty! I can’t say thanks enough for the phenomenal food, service and overall great time we had! I will be back when I’m in town with my husband and I can’t wait to bring him here! Thanks again!!!

Such a cute spot. A favorite place for brunch with the girls. Love the wine shop up front and the view of the lake. Great food.

We had dinner here as a treat from a family member, we were so glad she picked this place because all the food we ordered were all prepared just right ! from lamb chops, steak, pork chop, salmon, salad, desserts. This restaurant is by a man made Lake around a nice neighborhood in the summerlin area. They also sell wines in the front of this restaurant, their selections were great. There were only 2 servers that evening, in a different scenario where you want your food served to you sooner, you might not like it but since we were catching up with family who we have not seen for a while, it was alright. I want to visit this place again, it was quite a drive from the strip but for the family it was all because of great food, i say, it's worth the drive. with family Yes ! food even tasted much better..

We had a delightful French dinner. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The décor was charming with both an indoor and outdoor area. As it was cool that evening we ate in the outdoor area but with the windows closed and with a heater. The wait staff were professional and efficient. The location is in the northern part of Summerlin. We highly recommend Marche Bacchus

Marche Bacchus is a refreshing change from ‘Strip centric and strip center dining’ in NW Las Vegas. Situated on the edge of an otherwise idyllic residential community it’s so unexpected to see this lush landscaped retreat. I had not visited for five years or so so it was worth the 25 minute drive from home. It’s a fun, light waterside French bistro that features a serious menu. Especially memorable is the retail wine gallery for the grape aficionados. You select a bottle and have it corked at the table. I love the refreshed dining room and bar. The best view in the house is a climate controlled terrace where live music accompanied the meal. Whenever I take the time to review an establishment I try to be fair and align comments with my overall GUEST EXPERIENCE. Was it I a good value? Yes. Was the food good? Absolutely. Was the service memorable? Unconditionally, our server Nicole T was knowledgeable, friendly and led our group of five to good entree choices and wine. Kudos to the chef for accommodating my small bites delivery/timing. Sadly, the only downfall was the truffled mac and cheese. Bland and flavorless. The overhead misters soaked a lot of key tables and could use an adjustment. Bartender needs to be more attentive. August 2, 2019 visit.

The first thing you notice is the wine shop - which is impressive! Fun to browse the wines before dinner & pick out a bottle to enjoy. They have several difficult to find selections, and the prices are reasonable. As for the food - well - for a french bistro, it felt very italian (highlighted by the pastas on the menu). It was good, just not what you might envision from a "french bistro"... The setting is fantastic - right on a lake. The service was stellar. Location could be a concern for anyone visiting Vegas. It is quite a ways off the strip and not close to any hotels. Transportation to/from could be challenging.

Comfort food with a French twist... with an expansive selection of wines, well more like an attached wine store. If they can return to the service they offered at the beginning, I and many would give it a much higher rating.

I had heard good things about this place but did not have a good experience. Happy hour large group 50 or so people with advance reservations.. several days. Waited 40 minutes for food Had to get up and go to bar for beverages To the credit of the 3 servers, they were very polite but extremely overwhelmed. Shrimp appetizer was 7 out of 10.asked for bread several times but never arrived. Manager was not helpful Beautiful site but don't think I would return Very extensive wine offering menu and for sale

Such a great concept. A wine store in front and restaurant in back overlooking the lake. The wine selection is first class or you can by a bottle in front for retail and for a ten dollar fee you can have the bottle with you meal. ( if you bring your own bottle the corkage fee is $25). The food was really wonderful. The escargots, the goat cheese with truffles, the crepes and the Asian black rice were all done to perfection. Service was excellent as well. We will be back.

Vince was our server and he provided excellent service and recommendations for food and wine. We had 8pm reservations, so we weren't able to see the water very well, but a few boats cruised by. Members of our party enjoyed salmon, steak frites, ahi tuna, and pork loin. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I dined for the first time at this restaurant in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas on Friday November 10th. This restaurant offers a number of both French and Italian dishes on the menu (we used to call such restaurants "Continental"). The seating was in the tent-enclosed patio overlooking a lake. PROS: 1) Great food. We started by splitting the French onion soup and heirloom tomato salad as first courses. For a main course, I had the Steak Frites and my wife had an Italian chicken dish. We ended our meal by splitting the Chocolate lava cake. I would not hesitate to order any of those dishes again. 2) Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Our waitress Nicole made some delicious wine recommendations and did a good job taking care of us. 3) Huge wine selection. You enter the restaurant by walking through the wine store. For those who want to order an entire bottle of wine, you can browse the impressive wine selection. CONS: 1) Patio temperature. Our dinner reservations were for 7:30 PM and the enclosed patio was quite chilly. The staff had not yet lit the heat lamps. I am not one who usually gets cold in restaurants but I was glad I had brought my jacket with me. 2) Understaffed for a Friday dinner. All of the waitstaff seemed to be really rushing around trying to serve the large Friday night crowd.

This is a charming restaurant with a unique setting for Vegas. The wines are overpriced but the concept of picking a bottle from their store before sitting at your table is fun. I saw wines I recognized from when I lived in Europe so I think they're doing a good job of offering a good selection. The Cabernet-Sauvignon we chose was good. The highlight was the food though. The roasted Scottish salmon was delicious and the appetizers we tried were good too. They have a good selection of desserts as well. Overall, I recommend Marchè Bacchus for a date night or night out with friends.

A wonderful experience. Even though there were two large private parties the service was excellent. You can pick your own wine from the bins in the store as you enter or you can ask for professional help as we did and we were very happy with his selections. The menu is just broad enough and the food was excellent.

What a wonderful relaxing night. The venue on the little lake is spot on, the service second to none, thank you Vince and there food fabulous. We had a table for two just outside the restaurant door, perfect evening and the weather could not have been better, Loved my snails and bread. Thank you for a special evening.

Pegged as a "French Bistro and Wine Shop," you enter Marche Bacchus through a charming, high-end wine shop, itself an attraction. The shop and restaurant is in a complex located on a lake in suburban Vegas, away from the craziness of the strip. The restaurant is behind the wine shop with a view of the lake. The proprietor, Jeff Wyatt, picked out the wines for our party of 5. Fabulous! The food from an innovative menu was excellent, well-prepared and well-served. One can see why this place is a hit with locals! Reservations in the evening recommended!

We went there for lunch right when it opened. We were sat in the patio area. We had the lunch special with the Escargo and Truffled Goat Cheese Napoleon. Escargo was what I expected but the truffled GC dish was amazing! I had the eggplant terrine it wasn't my favorite. It was hot and presented nicely, probably just personal preference. My wife's lobster croissants was very good as the ceasars salad that paired with it. The service was good, took awhile to get our glass of wine and it wasn't busy as we were the second table in. Other than that, good job and we will likely return.

Loved the setting outside on the patio. However, service was super slow and not very professional. We had to keep asking for things and he clearly forgot to put in our order. Also, ordered Mussels which came out dry and all shriveled up...clearly cooked too long. Also, they didn't come with frites which is really weird. Once was enough.

We walked in and the first thing I did was grab a bottle of Dumol Pinot Noir from the Russian River. The small plate menu was great, I couldn’t eat everything I wanted to try. Everything we had was wonderful.

Really enjoyed our time here. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Manager was very knowledgeable. Love the fact that you can buy wine and then drink it on site. Food was fabulous.

We had high expectations of great food and service. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation and were told "your reservation isn't until 7:00pm" as a means of greeting us. I had made the reservation 2 weeks prior. We sat at the bar for quite some time before being served. When we finally were seated at 7:40pm it was in the patio area that was freezing cold, next to a LOUD wedding party. Regular patrons were greeted warmly and shown to their tables immediately. Service was slow. We wanted to order our appetizers fist. Waitress refused to take the order, " Chef wants me to submit a full ticket". So we hurried and chose dinner as well. Waited 20 minutes for appetizers, and only AFTER they arrived and we asked were appetizer small plates delivered. Same with our meal. The utensils were brought to our table after the food arrived. My friend didn't have a fork or a knife! Appetizer: escargot was good as was the "truffled goat cheese Napoleon" Dinner was good, portions were small. We made the mistake of asking food-runner for water. He stated ( very loudly) I will ask your waitress to have someone bring you water. Really? They did turn on the heater which helped. And the wedding party left, which also helped. In warmer weather this might be an option for brunch. But with so many choices for dinner, we will not be back.

For a sort of “off the beaten path” restaurant, this is a real find. Excellent service, lovely outdoor (protected) dining with a view of the lake, good food (a little on the pricey side but worth it). Full bar and a huge selection of wine to bring to your table from their wine store you walk through on your way to the dining area.

We visit Vegas annually for a convention and it is always a go-to for Sunday Brunch. Suspect that dinner would also be good as the kitchen is consistent. The wine list is excellent - the by-the-glass very reasonable and it has the unique attached wine store. Well worth the trip away from the Strip

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, but I would never eat there again. The French onion soup was lukewarm to cool served in a tiny bowl, the escargot had little flavor, no garlic taste at all and my husband's chopped salad came without a dressing (along with chard bacon) and the chardonnay was barely chilled. We had to ask for everything which seemed to take forever to get. Maybe this was due to the inability to attract more servers, which seems to be the norm now a days. We weren't even asked if we wanted more wine, coffee or dessert. Very unhappy with the whole experience.

We went for Sunday Brunch (Bottomless Mimosas, Champagne or Kir Royale). I savored the BACCHUS OMELETTE - Herbed Goat Cheese, Ham, Spinach, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Braised Leeks. Dining on the beautiful lake in the middle of Vegas was a special treat. Service was excellent. Also has a wine shop connected to the restaurant.

What a disappointment! Eat here regularly, and set menu for Christmas Eve was OK. Service was terrible! Never been so rushed in a restaurant. Each course arrived while plates were still on table from previous course. 4 course dinner and done in under 1 hour. Will be a while befoe we return

I had problems in past years with skimpy portions at the restaurant. Food has always been exquisite. I was happy with today’s visit. Portions were ample and food was delicious as usual. My only concern was the wine pour was small. When I pay $14 for a glass of wine, I’d like more than a few sips. The wine is delicious. Just give us a little bit more for that price, please.

What a fabulous restaurant!!! The lake view is breathtaking, service impeccable and loved the ambiance of the restaurant. We started with an amazing bottle of French wine. Their selection is abundant. We enjoyed butternut squash soup, Yellow tail carpaccio salad, steak & frites, Scallops and don’t forget the Truffle man n’ cheese!!! We finished off the evening listening to the Live Entertainment with a cognac. We will be back!

Love the view, customer service is great, wine & food are exceptional! My family and I try to support a few times a month!

Enjoyed a very nice prix fixe Mother's Day Dinner with family. The selections were well prepared and nicely presented. The free glass of champagne was a nice touch. Our server was polite and attentive. We selected a nice Malbec from their storefront collection to accompany our meal. It was a pleasant evening and nice to see a few boats on the lake.

This used to be a favorite place for us but since we live in Henderson, we have not been here for several years. My husband used to order cases of wine form here as well. The ambiance remains~ the food, however, is really poor. I used to get the lobster croissant (which used to be good) and ordered it again. The croissant was dry, as well as the filling (was this really lobster?). I ate 1/4, and my husband ate 1/4. Living in New England for many years makes me aware of what a good lobster filling should taste like. This wasn't it. My friend ordered the buckwheat crepe with chicken and mushrooms. It was tasteless, and the chicken was cubed. She gave it to another friend who happened to show up at the restaurant ~ he ordered nothing but ate her leftover crepe. The husband ordered the caesar salad which was just ok. The fries, were excellent, hot and crispy (woohoo). My friend said that if she was alone she would have sent her crepe back. When the waitress came to pick up our plates which had the other half of the lobster croissant on it, I said, "The fries were good". Then my friend was brave enough to say that her crepe was awful. The nice waitress said she will ask the manager if he would do something. When she returned, she said the manager would not even deduct one lunch!!!!!! Very poor customer service. Great fries, great ambiance ~ eat at your own risk. We will NOT be back.

My reason for giving this restaurant 4 stars rather than 5 has nothing to do with any shortcomings. It's doesn't have special, can't-miss, elite qualities that would make it a 5, but everything about it was very, very good. The service, the atmosphere and the food were all high quality. This was my first visit. One of my companions was a regular, and another was an occasional visitor. The regular was sharp enough to request a table nearest the water when she made the reservation, and that's exactly what we got. The fact that the request was honored is a significant sign of good management. It was a perfect, late-October Vegas day, sunny and in the 70s. The big bay windows were open, giving us a nice light breeze as we enjoyed the view of the beautiful black swans and other waterfowl, and the tortoises sunning on the rocks. The weather may be the reason that the theme of the day was "ducks getting busy". My goodness. But after all, they're Vegas ducks. The luncheon menu was excellent, making it hard to choose. They also have a dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu. I had the blackened salmon blt. My companions had a lobster salad croissant and the house special. All three of us enjoyed our selections. The service was good. Our server was attentive to our needs without being pushy, and endlessly patient with our slow pace. All three of us agreed that this restaurant is well worth repeat visits.

Finally made it here after weeks of planning trying to dine here. It has been well recommended this place. Awesome location.. and it is in our neck of the woods. A real gem in Summerlin Marty was our server. Busy on a labor day Monday night. Great for any type of occasion. We had appetizers. Bacchus plate great selection of cheeses My daughter had salmon macaroon it was ok. Not my taste though Escargot was delish. Had their sea bass. For the price, i had better honestly. My husband had lobster papardelle. Was good lacks sauce if u as me. They could offer some cheese and fresh ground peppers. My daughter had spring lasagna. Surprisingly good Did not have room for desserts.. I think better attention to details.. like explaining what kind of cheese in the Bacchus platter.. offer choice of their best wines since after all is a wine place. ... location is to die for here. Will try lunch or early dinner next time.

I can only give 3 stars unfortunately because even though the food here is amazing, the service is kind of hit and miss, the owners only talk to people they obviously know which I will expand on and the kitchen lacks attention to detail and properly preparing dishes. This is our second visit and the food is truly amazing when prepared as stated on the menu. I ordered a Chopped Cobb salad and I had to inform the server once she de used to come by again that there were ingredients the menu stated came on the salad and they were not there. Bacon is a component of the salad and there was NONE. This baffles me, a simple Chopped salad and the kitchen forgets ingredients? It makes me wonder what is really going on in the kitchen. Is there not anyone checking the food before it leaves the kitchen? The table right next to us had two ladies with a baby, one of the owners came by and said hi to them, she obviously knew them and the walked away...never said hi to us or asked if everything was ok, nothing. As an owner you should take pride in your place and check on the people helping you make a living. I covered the food issues and the owner issue now the service. Our server took a long time to come to our table just to say hi for the first time. She was really nice but would disappear and not come back for long periods. When she brought my salad, fist off she should have noticed that it missing and most places of this caliber normally ask if you would like pepper with the salad but not here today. Overall the food was good just a few items if fixed would make this place a 4 to 5 star place.

Great location, highly overpriced, while the quality of the food was below average.. The seating was fine with the ongoing virus. I read the good reviews on this restaurant but we were greatly disappointed. Not only was the quality disappointing but the quantity was to say the least on the small side. I took my family there for a birthday celebration but will not go back. The service was also disappointing as our lady server was crude to say the least, constantly reaching across the table when we could get her attention. As you can see we will not be going back..

There is a saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it". The new owners are screwing it up. Locals went to this restaurant for comfort food and always had their favorites on the menu. The new owners are taking away all of our favorites and replacing them with some pseudo French cuisine. Our salad is gone and has been replaced with a bed of lettuce with an egg on top… Yuck. We ordered our favorite french fries recently and we got a bowl of rubber sticks. We sent them back. We are afraid to go back and have our hearts broken by the new chefs. Good luck.

The ambiance of this place, along with its selection of wines at the entrance, makes this a great date for couples. I also love the serene setting with friends during the day while watching the black swans and baby turtles. Follow up with the spa next door to make your day complete!

Went there for an anniversary dinner. Enjoyed the lakeside table, and attentive, friendly service. I gave this restaurant two stars simply because the chef who was working the grill that night has absolutely no idea how to cook a steak properly or completely messed-up our order. My wife and I both ordered our steaks “medium rare” (red in the middle and warm). The steaks we received looked like they had been cooked for two-minutes on each side, and were completely rare and COLD in the middle. My policy is to NEVER send food back to a kitchen; I just don’t ever go back to a restaurant after a bad experience.

This was our first visit but won't be our last. It is a little strange to enter a restaurant through a wine store but once seated you are lakeside with swans and ducks swimming by. I started with a trip back to the wine store to pick out a bottle of wine. Our waiter helped me pick a nice Malbec. We shared the Charred Octopus appetizer. I had the Beef Tenderloin and my wife had the Rack of Lamb, both were cooked to perfection. The service was great, Our waiter, Marty, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back.

This is the first time I rate a restaurant with one star, and also the first time I decided to not order a main course, but instead go to some place else after the appetizer. We had a reservation, and entered the restaurant around the time of our reservation. It took a few minutes until the hostess showed up, who told us that there was not yet a table available, and directed us to the bar for a drink. That drink did not come, because the bartender was busy with a lot of things, but not with attending to his guests. After 20 minutes the hostess returned, and asked if we had our drink. We told her we had not, but that did not seem to interest her. A few minutes later our table was ready, so we had a drink there and then selected an appetizer. Once we decided on the main course, it turned out they did not have any of the main courses we would have liked. In fact, the only thing they could serve was pasta or a ham. We expressed our disappointment, but the waiter did not do much more than apologize and blame the kitchen. Bad things do happen sometimes, but at this moment, the waiter could have worked with us to find an alternative, or have the chef meet us. None of this happened, as the waiter was also not interested at all. The appetizer I had was really good (goat cheese Napoleon), but this could not make up for the uninterested staff. We decided to go to a place where they could actually serve a proper main course, paid and left.

We came here on a beautiful January evening and started off with a bottle of Red Wine. A Caesar Salad and French Onion soup led to a main course of Beef Bourguignon and Steak Frites. Both were outstanding. Our amazing server, Ian, recommended the Creme Broulee and it truly was the best. We love it here and can't wait to come back during the summer.

This was a slow paced, 2 hour lunch. 8 of us might have Ben too many! The food was all good, our server was a bit over booked. We had- fish and chips, very tasty lots more chips than fish. Muscles, perfect if you like them. Blackened salmon blt sandwich was perfect. Grilled chicken was tasty and large portions. Finally A Reuben sandwich, very well prepared and tasty. Took a while and was not an inexpensive lunch but it was good

“Where do you want to go for your birthday?” We picked Marche Bacchus for my husband’s celebration. Made a reservation, And when we walked in, I purposefully told the woman who seated us that I wanted to celebrate with a candle on the dessert and my husband was parking the car - so would she help? “I’ll tell your server.” I trusted the deed was done. This was Sunday brunch, and the restaurant was barely half-filled. It went down-hill from there. 15 minutes we chatted, and no one recognized we were at the table. We had to ask for service and menus. 10 minutes more for water. They all seemed focused on the tables outdoors, rushing past ours inside without making eye contact. Finally, some coffee. Finally, some wine, but the waiter accidentally poured the wine into my husband’s water glass, mixing the two. The distracted server replaced both water and wine – as was only correct. Bread came, and he abandoned us. Finally, we flagged him down to take our order - after we had spent more than half an hour seated. And then we waited… After an hour and 10 minutes at the table, we had finished the wine, and glasses had remained empty. The coffee was gone. We called our server, “We’re being patient, but could you check on our food?” People who arrived when we had were already finishing, and we were actually getting full from an hour plus of bread. Our waiter seemed surprised we were asking for food. Food arrived, but we were abandoned again. The mussels were overcooked. The crepe was three bites. The terrine was tasteless. Impossible to get more wine. The side of fruit came, but only after the meal was done (sliced bananas, grapes, and apples - like we were three year olds.). It was disappointing all around. But it was a birthday, so we didn’t want to “spoil the fun” and start complaining. And I had asked for a candle in the dessert. So, we ordered a reaking dessert, hoping to salvage what was really a train wreck of a meal. The dessert came.: No candle. We had been there for two hours. We were never asked if we wanted more coffee – or more wine. We were never asked how the food was. And then we were presented with the check - as if the waiter had decided it was time for the table to be cleared. We paid, and we left.

Friends brought us here and I'm so glad they did! It's a bit confusing at first, but that's part of the charm. As you enter it looks more like a wine shop. You can pick out your bottle and then bring it to the table. For restaurant wine pricing it was reasonable. We were able to be seated with a view of the lake. Very pleasant. Marty was the consummate server. He brought a sincere authentic experience to the meal. Would highly recommend and return!

We had a wine dinner and wine pairing. All of the courses were well prepared and very delicious French style cooking. The appetizer selection is my favorite. The wine store is very low prices and amazing quality wines. We always buy more wine to take home.

This is a little hidden gem in Las Vegas. If you want a great dining experience off the strip, please head to this place. We stayed downtown so it took us about 15 minutes, it's off the 95N. When entering the restaurant you think you walked into the wrong building bc the the front of the restaurant is a wine shop (this is there wine list). You can purchase wine to take home or to enjoy with your dinner for an additional $10. They have a great selection of wine and there prices are on point. Now for dinner, let's start with the friendly staff. Nicole was a great help in directing us on what to order and was honest when she hadn't tried something. The owners, Jeff and Rhonda really take pride in what they do. Great live entertainment, and the view is a man made lake that I'm sure is breathtaking during the day. I would consider this a romantic place, but it's also great for parties or groups. We ordered the escargot, shrimp scampi, and octopus as our starters all delicious! The truffle Mac and cheese was nice and creamy, braised beef, dover sole, beef tartar so yummy. This was an authentic French restaurant, dishes weren't too rich, just done right😋 Can't wait to go back in the summer...

Arrived at the bar before a birthday party, ordered a Tangueray , didn’t have it. I then ordered a Beefeater ,didn’t have it so I settled for a rum and coke-$12. Ouch! Food at party was late and cold. Crab cakes were so-so. Beef on skewer and chicken were ok. Have been to the place twice, the first and last!

We are four who went to the Bastille Day dinner at MB. We made reservations two weeks in advance, and had to go at 5PM. Later in the week they were sold out from 4 to 8PM. We were a 7 year old with a parent, a resident of Paris in the luxury planning services, and her parents here ages 80 and 85. We arived on time at 5PM. We were led to our table which we were to share with 12 others we did not know and they were all members of a dive group. We were told by one of those in the group we would not feel comofortable there. We did not want to sit thee anyway. We WERE granted a table of four in the dining room. All tables in the dining room were empty as were most tables elsewhere. Anyone who arrived at 4PM would have had their pick. We were not told we would have to dine like in a school lunch room. Our waitress arrived at the table and with in 35 minutes we had our cocktail. Our Paris lady asked several questions about wine, the waitress advised she does not drink and knows nothing about wine...she did not ask any one else at that point. Two question sessions later she went to ask someone and always came back herself with a sluff-off reply. We gave up on wine info...in a wine bar, yet. I odered the salmon and the waitress made a special trip to bring me a soup spoon. Hmmm. Well, we surmise she was brought in for the day to work this crowd. No knowledge of the menu at all. So be it...the place was full of temporary wait staff. Our location in the man dining room was looking thru a windo that had not been washed for months, on to a service station. The restaurant workers were parading aroung the place at 5:15PM setting up glasses, ice, audio wiring, lights etc. this should have been done at 3PM, The restaurant was not really meant to handle this many people. The outdoor areas were mostly communal tables, many people were disappointed, you could tell. We asked our Paris companion if she had ever seen communal dining in Paris.....NO. The special meal was quite nice with exception of the eggplant dish, which none of us who tried it could swallow. Creme Brulle not crispy on the top. SORRY MB, you dropped the ball, keep at what you do well, a small crowd with wait staff that know what is going on, and if you reserve a table for 4 get a table for 4. Even at 7PM there were lots of empty tables. We had a bill of $300 and gave a $100.00 gift certificate along with our credit card. The gift certificate was turned down by two people before the owner Jeff finally came to give us the appropriate credit. I think we are done here....we are trying OHLALA today for lunch.....stay tuned.

My second visit to this establishment still left me unimpressed. No wonder it was over two years in between visits - think I will make it longer next time. OK service, though rather disjointed, having to remind multiple folks of the same request. The food coming from the kitchen though left much to be desired. We were seated in the inside dining room, and the only ones there, so I guess we were out of sight, and out of their mind. If you have better luck, let me know. Maybe you need to know someone there...

We ate lunch here during the week. The restaurant was not busy and we were able to sit the the glassed in part over looking the water. We had great service. The escargot was delicious, the lobster roll croissants were good, and the crepe brûlée was excellent.

This restaurant has it all... ambiance, service, and oh-so wonderful food! I have always enjoyed my meal at Marche Bacchus! The staff is excellent and the chef, well, I kissed him the other night and told him he is one of my favorite people! I love to sit out on the patio no matter what the weather is outside. They have fans/misters in the summer and fireplaces/heaters in the winter. Often on Friday and Saturday nights you will find live music to entertain you while you enjoy the wonderful delicacies and wine! I almost hate to tell how awesome this place is, in fear I will have difficulty getting a seat! Whether you are with a group of people or on a romantic date, this is my very first choice for the best restaurant in town! Some recommendations... short ribs, risotto, pan seared sea bass, filet mignon, and celerian apple vilute.

We love a BYOB restaurant and this is that, in a way. The entrance is through a wine shop where you can purchase your bottle and they then serve it to you or you can order off of their wine list. We selected a bottle and once seated at our table, it magically appeared. They charge a small $10 corkage. The menu is creative and well, absolutely delicious! The panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes was perfection and popping with flavor. The service was outstanding, a nice view of a small lake and we sat out on the enclosed patio next to a fireplace.

W-O-W!!!! If you’re looking for the perfect night to spend with your love ones that’s the place. Beautiful restaurant to watch the sunset over the lake, amazingggg food!! So delicious you feel like there is a private chef behind the wall that work specially on your dish, every bite is to die for. Service from all the staff was 10/10 Thank you so much for a perfect evening! Can’t wait to come again Nicolle

We did not go for a while because the rapport quality/value was not what it should be. We had friend from Europe and wanted to spoil them with a good European quality meal. THE GOOD. The environment: sitting on the lake is as romantic/charming as it can be. only 2 restaurants among 4,000+ restaurants in Las Vegas can offer this wonderful surroundings. THE OK. We all started with a French onion soup. The taste of the soup and the onions were excellent but the cheese on the top was melted in the soup and kind of cold. I supposed it waited too long before being served. Then WE WAITED OVER ONE HOUR to get our main menu. 2 tables next to us that arrived later were served before us. Finally the waitress came and kindly offered us a free delicious salad to thank us for our patience. Then the manager came and explained that a convection oven broke and created the delay. I understand that could happen, but, why WAIT OVER ONE HOUR to inform us about the problem. Now is the fun part, after waiting so long the steaks and French fries came and the French fries were cold. That was almost laughable to think that our food got cold waiting to be served. they exchanged them for warmer fries. Kindly enough they offered a free dessert and coffee. We ordered a crème brulee. The hilarious part is that sugar on the top of the crème brulee was cold. The whole concept of a crème brulee is the contrast between the hot/burned sugar on the top and the very cold crème inside. THE UGLY: All of this will not be a big deal in a cheap restaurant, however, this is an expensive French restaurant and it is not acceptable.

My daughter and aunt treated me to lunch here at this French bistro. It was my first time. The place is tucked away in Desert Shores, with outdoor seating right off the lake. Since it was hot out, there were little misters dispensing cooling mist, dropping the temperature to a pleasant degree. Service was very good. The menu has a nice selection of entrees and wines. This is a wonderful, secluded little place to go as a couple or to treat yourself or a special friend to wine and high quality food. Just know in advance that this is not a place for “cheap eats.” If you are on a budget, it’s best to go for lunch as the prices are less expensive. Between the three of us, we had the roasted free-range chicken sandwich, the lobster croissant sandwich, and the classic Reuben sandwich. The salad and “frites” were good and the tiramisu dessert was excellent. Marche Bacchus is a very good choice for special occasions!

We went for a romantic dinner, we were seated close to the fireplace (another couple got the prime location directly in front of it) with a view of the lake. Our server Kevin was great, left us alone at the right times and attentive at others. We were invited to choose a wine from the wine store when we mentioned an area of France we'd like to see if they had a wine from. It was a fantastic Grand Cru from Bourgogne/Burgundy - their wines don't seem to be marked up too too much. On to charred octopus, which I could eat for breakfast. Kevin guided me through some indecision to a braised beef dish with truffled potato purée. I think some carrots or another vegetable on the sweet side might have been nice with this, because the beef was naturally salty. Otherwise I loved it and it reminded me of a dish I had had in France. My husband had a duck entree, with a delicious parsnip purée that kind of tasted like potato so his dish didn't seem like it had a vegetable either, if that makes sense. Pretty setting, overhead and propane heaters along with the little fireplace, a nice lake view, great food and service.

Restaurant Week gave us an excuse to visit for our first time. We loved the setting along the lake. It made us feel as if we were somewhere other than Las Vegas. And due to its neighborhood location it was obvious that it is frequented by a lot of regulars. We both enjoyed the Napoleon, with its combination of sweet and savory flavors as our appetizer. The two entrees were both prepared perfectly. The Wagyu steak and the halibut. I loved the couscous. For dessert, it was the crime brûlée. It was really sweet. A tad much for me. This is a great place for lovers of wine. There is a wine store in the front of the restaurant. My only complaint was that the food was slight. After three courses I kept eating the free bread because I was still hungry. But the quality of what I did eat was wonderful.

This really is a fantastic restaurant. It is the best place we have been to in Vegas once you get away from the overpriced elegant restaurants on the strip. The choice of wine is fantastic and as this is a wine shop also you select your wine from the shop and it is served with a small corkage fee. The ambience is terrific with great views over the water. It is well fitted out and comfortable. The servers are friendly and competent. We had live music in the background which was lovely but unobtrusive and added to the atmosphere. Good selection of food and a substantial vegetarian menu. All the dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. I did however think that some of the Chef's flavours did not compliment the food, for example I do not think that the macaroons and horseradish contrast helped the smoked salmon and although the cheese dish looked great perhaps some more exciting cheese could be found. Not too expensive for what it is and definitely one to return to.

Really like the location with views of the lake. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. The wine selection is awesome. My only reservation about the restaurant is the prices are just a bit more than norm. I get it, compared to Vegas places it's ok. And, I've not had a bad meal here. I'm just cheap or something. I will still go back.

First and foremost, the wine by the glass list is top notch. Second, the wine list in general is wow - when combined with all the wine in the shop! Third - but far from last - wow, the food - amazing. We stopped in for lunch after reading about this place, and we are glad we did. The only down side is the wine tasting (11:30-1 on Saturdays) was packed out and although we had a chance to taste a few, the crowd was to big to enjoy really learning anything about the wines. If you go to taste - go early, then - go to lunch... you will not be disappointed. They even use the right wine glasses.

My spouse and I were disappointed. The ambiance is very relaxing. The clam chowder was average, the rib eye steak my husband ordered his steak well bone it came out rare. He sent it back and it came back medium. Hmmm we took it to go and the dogs at home had a gourmet dinner. We had good service and excellent wine.

We've been going to Marche Bacchus for several years, and would have rated it five stars on each previous occasion. Not now. It's gone downhill so far and so fast since we last visited in 2019 that the experience was unrecognizable. There are many aspects to this. In my opinion, it's as if the previous owner sold it to someone who was fired from Denny's for rank incompetence. We went there after a Board of Directors meeting, and expected the fine dining experience that we had always had. To say that we were disappointed would be the understatement of the year. First, we went for the outdoor seating, which previously was open to the air, and is now entirely enclosed in glass, so calling it "outdoor seating" is grossly misleading. This was a disappointment in the age of Omicron, but it would be followed by several other, more significant disappointments. First, service was extremely slow. Plus, our server a rough-and-ready Joe's-Crab-Shack type who had not been adequately trained. He moved awkwardly and, for example, when bringing a second glass of wine, simply poured the new glass into the old glass. Not what you'd expect for what used to be a fine dining experience. Speaking of wine, the per-glass prices were high (~$20/glass) and the pours were minuscule. I have never in my very long dining experience in hundreds of restaurants around the world (a few of which I've reviewed here in Tripadvisor) had such a tiny, ridiculously inadequate serving of wine. My rough estimation is that they get approximately 10 servings from each bottle of wine, not the 4-5 that would be more normal. On to the menu, the variety we used to enjoy has gone. Few if any of our favorite dishes are there anymore. The choices are all boring and pedestrian, at extremely elevated prices. For example, the pot-au-feu was $38, and consisted of a couple of tiny pieces of tasteless boiled beef submerged in an ocean of tasteless water with a paltry scattering of equally tasteless tiny boiled potatoes and boiled onions. It was a farcically inadequate and incompetent preparation of this classic dish and offered no culinary enjoyment at all. After a few bites of this tasteless junk we saved the pitiful remains for our dogs. The Steak "Frites" ($42) consisted of a large plate of very boring French fries and a ridiculously tiny lump of charred beef. This was served to one of the top lawyers in Las Vegas and watching his expression when it was served was so entertaining that it almost made up for the horrible dining experience. Speaking of horror, COVID is an ongoing concern. The rather loud background music, probably intended to inject some vigor into the lackluster ambience, forced all of the enclosed diners to raise their voices, thus elevating the level of potentially infectious aerosols in the still, unfiltered air. I cannot express strongly enough that this was not the experience we used to have, or that we came to this restaurant expecting. In my opinion, anyone rating the current dining experience at Marche Bacchus above two stars has probably never been to an excellent restaurant in their lifetime. They should give a truly excellent restaurant a try - it will likely be no more expensive! - and lament the fact that only five stars are available to describe their experience. Conduct yourself accordingly, as they say, if you are looking for a fine dining experience.

Lunch was pleasurable and we were not rushed. Champagne and wine were priced on the high side. French onion soup was very flavorful. The crab cake was tasty but small. Blackened salmon sandwich was vey well prepared and priced well too. Chocolate desert with oozing chocolate was rich and very good. The setting by the lake was very pleasant. A bit out of the way but good enough to drive to,

Reservation: a very simple process. I called and originally arranged for a Thursday dinner. Within the same day, I called back and changed the dinner date to Saturday. On both occasions I asked for patio seating and was assured that it would be no problem. Arrival: as my wife and I arrived for early dinner on Saturday, we were told that no patio seating was available because of two wedding receptions at the restaurant. Meal: we had a very light dinner, French onion soup and a Caesar salad. The soup was underwhelming and the salad average. A 5oz glass of Oregón Pinot cost me $30! I mentioned to the manager that nobody called to let us know about the unavailability of patio seating. He first insisted that either he or his staff had called. He then admitted that nobody called and offered to buy us a desert or appetizer next time. Bottom line: a very poor first impression of an overpriced restaurant. Given the plethora of restaurants in Las Vegas, I would not recommend Marche Bacchus.

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary off the strip. Primarily for the vibe, and also many restaurants on the strip are a lot of hype and expense. Alexxa's was totally on point. The staff was well trained and genuinely happy to provide guidance, answer questions, and execute their duties. Our selections were well and freshly prepared, the perfect size, and most importantly, melt in your mouth delicious! We will surely make the 30+ minute drive again. Thank you for creating a perfect night for us!

Flavors to die for!!! Honestly better French food than most places we ate at in Paris! We tried the escargot, French onion soup, forbidden rice, truffle Mac and cheese, and chicken crepe with truffle fries. Server was friendly, ambiance lovely with a great view. The escargot was just divine in a delicious pesto sauce- we had to ask for more bread to scoop up this delicious sauce! French onion soup flavorful without being too salty as many French places make it. Forbidden rice with chicken was sooo flavorful. Cooked perfectly and we ate every bite. The chicken crepes with mushroom and thyme were delicious! Such amazing flavors without being too heavy. The truffle fries. Just omg you HAVE TO HAVE THE TRUFFLE FRIES. Seriously the best I’ve ever had anywhere- crispy, flavorful, not greasy, and just unbelievably good. We couldn’t NOT order truffle Mac and cheese and it was delicious, but definitely sent us over the edge in fullness. Maybe do this OR the fries lol.... We left full out of our minds but with ear to to ear smiles. The portion sizes were perfect- not too much and not too little. This place feels way far away and in the middle of nowhere but our local friends swore by it and we’re so glad we went. We’ll definitely be back!!

Sat by the window table overlooking the beautiful lake with another couple. Our friends live in Las Vegas and had been here before on a regular basis for brunch. Aurelia was our server and was very pleasant and attentive. We had escargot for a starter. Amazing butter topping! We had the nicoise salad, lobster & shrimp salad croissant, smoked salmon benedict, and I had the traditional benedict with small round potatoes. Everything was great and ejoyed by all!

Well with a visit Located in a residential area with (manmade) lakes, the theme is that when you walk in there is a a good wine selection set out like a liquor store and if you want you can select you wines for your dinner. Seating both inside and outside (waterfront) and menu is short but very confident - I had the wagu steak and it was GREAT. Looked after very well by Laurel at the front desk and Anthony tableside. Totally recommended if you want a relaxed but classy meal away from "Vegas"

When you walk into the bistro you are greeted with a surprise. There is a full room of great wines from all price points. Super high end wines priced reasonably. They retail them and you can get one for an additional $10 corkage fee. In fact they will also allow you to bring your own wine in and just pay the corkage fee. You can sit inside or out by the lake. It was unusually humid so we opted for inside. Our server was attentive and gave us all the information we needed. Nice appetizers and other starters. They have a caviar menu that looks good. We didn't try it. The pasta entrees were great. Especially the lobster pasta. Usually it is hard to find the lobster meat but in this case it was plentiful in a nice sauce with peas and mushrooms. It was a keeper. The halibut was also well prepared. They have some terrific desserts including a very rich chocolate mousse and bread pudding. It is definitely repeatable. Only one criticism is they are remodeling and still open so there is construction going on.

We had our company's annual holiday party here and the venue was perfect! Food was delicious (credit to our ops manager for the fine menu selections)!! Service was great and staff was so friendly and obliging. It was a perfect evening for our gathering!!

I had a groupon for this place so I took my wife here for lunch. It was a hot summer day but the patio had misters which kept the temps down. The food was excellent. I had the Salmon. My wife loved it. When you first walk in you walk into a wine store, kind of funky but the restaurant itself is very nice. Definitely would recommend and will be back.

Loved this little French restaurant on the lake. So charming and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back again and again. It was very warm so we decided to sit inside as I was dressed more for a cooler temperature but I can't wait to enjoy the outdoor patios here. However, the booths indoors were also lovely and our servers were so attentive and kind. The wines that they offer and even the unique way they go about allowing you to choose is a definite plus. I am so looking forward to trying everything in the menu! Highly recommend.

Food was great! Server was attentive. BUT the hostess! Slow AND dimwitted. Took us 10 minutes to get her to understand we wanted seats. She answered phone, ignored us, and then on her cell. I did tell owner on the way out who just smiled...Must be his daughter or a relative. We will not return!!!!

Marche bacchus is a great place to buy wine and have a bite to eat! I went on Sunday for brunch. The service was very good although they didn’t have any pastries like I thought they would being a French bistro. My friend got the lobster salad croissant with fries which was super yummy. I got the Wagyu steak with eggs and potatoes which was super yummy with their house made (green) butter ontop. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were very yummy. We also got endless mimosas and they were very good. I’d go back again for dinner to try a more expansive menu. Very yummy place for Las Vegas locals.

Our favorites place for Sunday brunch. The views of the lake are stunning. We always take out out of town guests here for brunch. The food is gourmet and the wine shop is beautiful. We love this place, It is a hidden gem.

The atmosphere is incredible! Food is great. Staff is helpful. Gray wine selection. This is a great spot for brunch or a romantic evening. Such a great escape from the Las Vegas desert when you hear the water from the lake right next to you.

A Fall evening spent with friends relaxing after a long day. Off the strip in Summerlin on a small lake. Menu offered a pleasant variety of dishes; Scallops were a hit as was the steak; salads were beautifully prepared. Service was spot on. Enter through the wine shop and choose several exquisite wines for dinner. Selection is exceptional. View of the lake is a nice change. Pricey but worth it.

Most recently made our 8th trek from The Strip to this restaurant. Have been here for both lunch and dinner. Never a disappointment. As described in previous reviews, you enter the restaurant through what is, in essence, a wine store with an excellent selection. Wine ratings are provided for most, and prices are mostly reasonable, although a bit higher than Costco or Total Wine. Wine selections can be taken to your table and served for an additional $10 corkage fee. I agree with the description of the menu as "Continental." On our most recent dinner experience, I had Onion Soup and Steak Frites -- common bistro fare that you would find, for example, at Mon Ami Gabi. Both were excellent. My wife had the Braised Beef served on a bed of grits. She also enjoyed this dish, although she characterized it as being "very rich." We had chosen a bottle of K Vintners "The Deal" -- a Washington Syrah from Charles Smith -- that paired well with both entrees. Although my wife could not finish her entree, she ordered the Tiramisu for dessert. It, too, was very rich and non-traditional. Part of that also went into the "doggie bag." Since it was a Wednesday evening, music in the form of a guitarist who also sang provided a nice ambiance in the patio area. Although it was quite cool outside, we were seated by the fireplace with a heat lamp nearby that kept the temperature quite comfortable. Oh, yes, as always, service was excellent. Also, a great place to come for lunch, where the lake view from the patio is lovely.

Horrible!!!! Went yesterday with a group of friends for lunch. The waiter did not know the menu. He told me the turkey sandwich comes on a sub roll. When my sandwich came it was on bread with Rye. I do not like Rye. He took it away to remake it. Minutes later another person comes back with the same sandwich telling me it was not Rye, you could see the seeds all over the bread. I was told they were going to remake the entire sandwich. They take it away again to make it on white. When I finally got my sandwich it was not a "new" sandwich, they just put white bread on it. The sandwich is supposed to be hot, it was not. It was cold. Yuck! By the time I got my sandwich everyone had finished eating. I paid for a terrible sandwich that arrived after my friends had eaten. Very slow service!!!! I have been here many times before with friends. This is my last time.

The only thing French about this restaurant is the name and the prices. Had the entre' size Mushroom Risotto. The portion was about 5-6 teaspoons, can't imagine how small the appetizer portion is.....however, nice flavor. My wife had the beef ravioli, tiny tortellini was actually served. The food was luke warm when delivered. Service was extremely slow and not very attentive. Not conducive for conversation as the restaurant is very loud.

The lakefront view is the only reason I gave it a star. The only authentically French thing in the restaurant are the prices. The menu is limited; bottles of wines must be purchased in their shop and then they charge you a corking fee to have it in the restaurant; the food is bland and the service was lacking. Even the music they were playing was totally in appropriate for this kind of place! It seems they count on the view to bring people back because nothing else will. Have they even been to France?

Early dinner with my wife was outstanding. great food and relaxing patio table with view of lake. The unique display of wines was very interesting.

I went for lunch with a family member whonis a local. We both went with the prove fixed menu which was a good deal but not if you're not too hungry (i ended up only eating half of my entrée). Our server was very nice and the view from where we were seated was very nice. I've heard it turns into a bit of a madhouse for the dinner seating, so keep that in mind, and I have a feeling that some of ther servers might be a little more optimal than others.

Great location with a view to a lake. Well off the beaten track with no neon signs. Very quiet neighborhood. Sit on the patio if you can. Food was great - not Michelin level, but solid tasty dishes. Interesting concept with a wine store before you enter the restaurant where you pick out the wine you want. Recommended if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip.

Was not expect the food such large portion & gorgeous view even highly suggest to install an air conditioning unit in the back end room which facing the view, I thought I can take it sine the view is unbeatable but as Vegas summer heat temperature, it really not work by sitting outside even there's sprinkler at top because the wind blow the drizzling away... customer service / speed of food / quality of food, everything just perfect for this unique restaurant.. good jo.

We know this restaurant since the original owner who, by the way, was from France. When the new owner (American) took over, the quality of the food went down big time, even to the point that even the cheese and pate were not good. Our last complaint to them was that their bred was not a crispy French baguette anymore, but a chewy American bred, "A crime for a French restaurant". After 2 years of absence, we went last night to see if they improved. We had the escargots, a halibut with French fries and a creme brulee. Everything was excellent. The service was attentive. By the way, the best creme brulee I ever had in the US, as good as the one in France. We call Angelo the manager and congratulate for this culinary comeback.

We visited this restaurant by chance about 10 years ago and this was our first chance to come back, as we enjoyed it so much. Well away from the hustle of The Strip, it is a wine shop as much as a restaurant. With a distinct French air, we had a thoroughly great value 3-course lunch and a glass of wine (just one as I was driving). We had a table looking out over the lake and the boats and birds. Service was formal, but friendly and polite and, unlike elsewhere, they didnt try to rush you out the door. Will go again, next time we're in Vegas.

THIS REVIEW IS SHORT. Restaurant location: Excellent. Food quality: Good. Food portions: Small. Price category: Very Expensive. Customer Service: Bad. Recommend: No.

This restaurant lived up to all of it’s high expectations. I have heard a lot of great things, but the characteristics that really struck a chord with me were the ambience, the setting, and the excellent service. Marty was charming, witty and knowledgeable about many subjects to do with the restaurant and beyond. I can’t wait to come back again soon!

Let me start with making a reservation still required a 45 min wait, and we were not the only ones! The bartender was CLUELESS and unable to service a full bar (10seats) The service at the table was mediocre at best! We had to ask for more wine, water etc. I ordered the scallops, they had so much salt they were not edible. On a positive the remade them and they were excellent. On a double negative the waiter thought it was appropriate to buy a cup of coffee as an apology. And not 1 visit from the manager who supposedly tried them!! Boo Marche Bacchus!!! Will never go back and will never recommend!

We had the very same experience as described in the last review. We were recommended to eat here by the Wynn Tower Suites concierge. We were barely greeted by the host, the server just gave us water and said he’d be right back. 15 minutes later, he walked up and said “ do you know what you want”. We were appalled, the service was so bad. Our dinner took very long to arrive. The salad was fair, the french onion was luke warm and very small and our fish was grilled with no seasoning and over cooked. It was clear they were having problems. The table next to us had to chase the waiter down for a check. I know that help is very difficult to get these days but management should be very visible and working to make the experience all it should be. We unfortunately will not return. Las Vegas had so many great dining spots, this is not worth wasting an evening on.

Superb Food! Fit for Foodies! Rhonda and Jeff are great owners. While the food is Superb and the Wine Selection and Wine 🍷 is amazing the service is lackluster compared to Honey 🍯 Salt. At Honey Salt your silverware is generally new for each plate of food and the service from the waitstaff is generally better. However, the Chef and the Kitchen Team are amazing and more than make up for the service. The menu is always changing with a few items consistently on the menu for continuity. Buon Appetito!

We had a reservation at another restaurant that was not able to honor their reservation time for us and many other angry customers. We left without knowing where we were going to be able to get into and eat on Thanksgiving without a reservation. We walked into Marche Bacchus and were made to feel very welcome and a table was found for us in short order. Anthony our waiter was wonderful even after a long holiday on his feet serving customers. We had great service and enjoyed our meals tremendously. The outside porch where we were seated was warm, comfortable, and beautiful. This restaurant and their staff saved our Thanksgiving for us! We ended up having a wonderful time and really appreciated their accommodating us. Thank you!

What a beautiful spot totally worth the drive! Super cool model to have a wine shop and restaurant. You purchase your wine from the in house wine shop and pay a reasonable ($10) corkage fee. We purchased two bottles of wine one Pinot Noir and one dessert wine both were great. All of our food was wonderful we started with the steak tartare and the scallops crudo followed by lobster bisque. Our entrées paired well with the Pinot, pistachio crusted venison with forbidden rice and wagyu steak frites. The meal was capped in with espresso gelato, berry sorbet and crème brûlée. Relaxing refreshing way to finish our anniversary trip.

We were really looking forward to dinner at Marche Bacchus. They have an amazing wine selection and the food was good, but the service was poor. I waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine. The waiter was extremely slow clearing the table between courses and the food was consistently mis-delivered, which matters a lot when ordering steaks. Also, there were bugs- swarms of bugs- outside.

If you love with this is the place for you. We were trying to find somewhere nice to eat away from the strip in LV. My husband found this place by using google and made a reservation. The food was great and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Service was excellent. The do serve beer but no liquor cocktails.

In the middle of a residential area is a small mall where you can find the restaurant. It is by the lakeside and very peaceful. The menu has good selection. Our braised beef is so tender no need to use a knife. The pasta is loaded with lobster. The escargot is really good. Go ahead and dip your ciabatta bread which is so flavorful. We ordered the bread pudding with its wonderful sauce. Abundant fairly priced wine choices. Service is good. Anthony is friendly with good sense of humor.

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for over 9 years. We look forward to visiting this fine eating establishment whenever we visit Las Vegas. As soon as you enter the through the front door, you are warmly greeted. You can then pick from rows of the best wines for any budget. Once seated you oversee a quaint lake that screams romance. The fine french food is well worth the drive. My wife and I have tried almost every item on the menu, and never been disappointed. I would highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert. Although it is a little hard to find; it is definitely worth the drive. This is one of those special places you want to share. You won't be disappointed.

I had lunch here with a friend today and was very disappointed to see the restaurant not adhering to Covid-19 safety precautions. They allowed two maskless women to enter, dine and leave the restaurant and they also filled up an area well beyond the 25% capacity restriction. I don't think the tables were even far enough apart. I like the food and ambiance here, but I will NOT be returning anytime soon. If their Covid protocol is so lax in the dining room, imagine what it is like in the kitchen....

We are overseas visitors that went to this restaurant 5 years ago, it was SUPERB. We returned 5 years later, food was still good, but service was non existent, our waiter was pleasant, but simply not enough staff, 35 minutes to get my glass of wine, I had to get up an chase down the waiter to ask where it was, still took another 10 minutes to get it, this continued for the rest of the meal. On leaving I enquired to a staff member had the restaurant changed management and no surprise that YES it had. Wake up management..... you are getting a lot of negative reviews, and they are pretty much all about the lack of service. We would have had at least 2 more wines each @ $ 16 = $64 you didn’t make, if we had a waiter. I fear this beautifully situated restaurant will be out of business if they don’t do something about the extremely slow service. Your saving grace was you did the right thing in giving us free desserts for the slow service, and the food was still good, so you get a poor instead of a terrible review.

We came here yesterday for lunch. Having been before with a large group of ladies, I knew the food was good, so I was keen to impress my visiting family with a great meal in a very pretty setting. The hostess who greeted us seemed dissatisfied that we hadn’t booked and asked if we’d like to sit outside, I’d said yes as it was a nice day, she offered us a table in front of a very dirty fire and standing fan, there were insects on the fire and floor and the view was poor, I’d spotted a nicer table and enquired if it was reserved, she responded with ‘yes it is, because it’s a nice day they called to reserve’. I found her very rude from the off and not once did she smile or seem at all pleased. We were quickly offered water, that was the only part of the service that was prompt. We sat for over 15 minutes whilst other guests who arrived after us, were seated, served drinks and menu orders taken. Eventually our waitress took our order, we had to prompt her to take a drinks order. One in our party ordered a Chianti, she said they didn’t serve Chianti, my guest pointed it out to her on the menu, she wrote it down and said no one had ever ordered one before!! We waited yet another 20/25 minutes for our food to arrive, mussels, turkey sandwich and lobster crepe, but the order had been taken down wrong and a lobster croissant arrived. The server checked the order with us and we reiterated that it was a lobster crepe not croissant that had been ordered, he apologized and said it wouldn’t be long to rectify the order and placed the other two items down. The mussels were cold, and the chorizo looked old and crumbly, like dog meat. The turkey sandwich was toasted but cold also, as were the fries, which were frozen not fresh made. The atmosphere here is very snobby and it feels like if your face doesn’t fit you’re not going to get the best service. My money is as green as everyone else’s and all customers should be treated equally. The staff need some serious training, the place needs a good clean up. The bar at the entrance has boxes stacked everywhere, it looks dark and unkempt. The patio area canopy needs some serious attention as do the windows, they were filthy. I was thinking of spending my anniversary here this month but after this visit we won’t be returning. We walked out, something I rarely do, but cold food and bad service don’t deserve good custom. I hope the owners are aware of the serious problems here, they need to make some changes if they intend on keeping this business afloat.

One of the best selections of wine by the glass ever experienced. You can buy a bottle of most selections at the retail outlet. The food is fabulous---definitely try the braised beef which is both tasty and will melt in your mouth.

Proof that there’s great food off the Strip! I love bringing friends and family here. The wine selection at the attached market is great and the cuisine itself is delicious overlooking the little lake.

Lunch for 5: 2 salads, 1 chowder & sandwich, 2 other dishes, 2 desserts. All excellent. Very good service. Sat outside overlooking a pond--very pleasant.

If you want to pay for a nice view, and OK food, this is not a bad choice. But the service is awful. We've been a couple of times, but based on the cumulative will never go again. I understand bad nights happen, but the poor attitude and service appears to be unfortunately consistent. Staff are at best indifferent, and seem overwhelmed by even a few guests. It takes forever to get a drink, or even a menu, let alone actual food. Service is almost a caricature of the often slower, less effusive service that is the cultural norm in Europe vs. the US, and with none of the charm or flavor

We got a massage a couple doors down and came over for lunch and were blown away. Three pages of bourbons, giant selection of wine, charcuterie board was great, escargot was great, salmon blt also really good. Bought 3 bottles of wine on the way out. Johnny did a great job taking care of us! Thank you!

If you are looking for a true French culinary experience in Las Vegas - this is the place.!!! Friendly and knowledgeable waiter was a plus. Needless to say, like any top French restaurant, they also have an incredible wine selection. Enjoy

Service can be hit and miss, but on a good day, this is a great date night restaurant. It's romantic (on a small lake), charming, and offers outstanding food and wine, including the best escargot I've ever had.

Last visited before moving to Las Vegas, a lunch from David Middleton alongside Lake Jacqueline limited but performing well enough that five years between Meals was undoubtedly too long, it was as a party of two that dinner was enjoyed at Marche’ Bacchus last Friday, Chef Amanda Hamilton now top toque and showing good skills across five courses. Still tucked away north of Summerlin Parkway, the seclusion and scenery “un-Vegas” in all the right ways, those returning to Marche’ Bacchus will likely notice a difference in the Restaurant’s façade thanks to an incident involving a runaway truck last February, owners Rhonda and Jeff Wyatt using the “opportunity” to expand the Restaurant’s Bar program which now adds top-shelf Liquor and Cocktails to the well-regarded Wine shop. Popular amongst oenophiles and well-heeled locals, the serenity of Ducks paddling by on the water enhanced by live music from a lone man and his guitar, it was after brief perusal of the menu that a shared tasting was requested, service from a professional young man outperforming many Strip Restaurants even as an aged quartet loudly proclaiming their love for “Foy Grasss” occupied much of his time throughout the evening. Seated in an elevated corner with some privacy, October’s cooler temperatures perfect for dinner outdoors, it was with greetings from General Manager Angelo Reyes that Champagne started the evening, a warm basket of Bread buying time until the arrival of lightly charred Octopus that was a bit over-tenderized but otherwise enjoyable amongst Chickpeas, Tomatoes, Peppers and Olives. Next offered a glass of Sauternes, the label not disclosed but sweetness and viscosity indicating it to be fairly young, it was in a classic pairing that Chef Hamilton presented seared Foie Gras atop Toast, a price comparable to the major Casinos justified by both portion and its presentation with Huckleberries and cracked Nuts. Transitioning to White, a crisp Burgundy nicely matched to housemade Pasta that unfortunately sees Lobster get a little lost amidst fragrant Mushrooms and Citrus, it was by request that Duck was served next, the pan-seared skin and rosy flesh thankfully allowed to express their natural flavors which went well bite-for-bite with a complex Farro Salad and sips from Côtes du Rhône. Opting for Cocktails over Port to finish, a mixologist behind the illuminated Abalone Shell Bar producing one fresh Martini and a truly indulgent Brandy Alexander, suffice it to say that saving room for Dessert at Marche’ Bacchus is highly recommended as both the new Limoncello Souffle and Cheesecake are light and delicious, though not quite as noteworthy as Toffee-soaked Bread Pudding studded with Raisins. FOUR STARS: Matching scenery and service with a menu offering something for everyone Marche’ Bacchus remains a worthy off-Strip destination nearly two decades since opening, and although not quite as refined as Bardot or classic as Andres the Wyatt’s have something no other Restaurant in town can match in terms of their Wine prices while the new Bar and Happy Hour menu offer even more reasons to visit.

This place wins compliments thanks to the atmosphere, it’s romantic and ambient, but really cold. Service was nice and attentive, vine was super tasty, but we were disappointed with food. Portions were really small, my boyfriend found his pork bites to be really fat and noodles tasted as regular ones which you can buy at grocery store. My quiche was dry and not salty at all, I didn’t find salt on the table as well. It wasn’t so warm, maybe because it got cold right away because of cold air. Overall it was not so bad experience but the food wasn’t worth the money.

Our friend Jonathan took us there since he goes alot. Martin greeted him at the door. Andrea the bartender was super nice. Good cocktails. Oliver was our waiter and though busy did a nice job. Met the owner Jeff when we left. Nice guy. Now to the food. Excellent beer tartare. Chef let the meat be the star. Oyster dish was really rich and tasty. Table bread nice and crusty. Wagyu steak cooked nicely. Foie gras a little cool but still good. Wish they had serve a veggie with the dish. Came with fries(good). Mussels were good and large portion. Again more fries. Smoked Mac and cheese was the best side. I liked being able to buy wine from the shop at reasonable price and only pay $10 corkage fee.

Awesome wine, view and food! I came here for some me time and it did the trick. Wine on the water with an amazing lunch view, what more can u ask for. The server (Anthony) was very attentive and made sure the kitchen could accommodate my recently found food allergies and the meal was spot on! This spot is great for any imaginable dining options. Whether a date, girl time, man time, alone time or large parties, you can't go wrong with here. They offer a wine store when u walk in and u can purchase any bottle for the tables ($10 corkage fee) but they have an awesome selection to choose from. Also they have vegetarian options, I've asked in the past and they've always provided a separate menu for those options. I've been here too much and everytime I leave satisfied wanting to come back. FYI on busy holidays make resos as they always book!

Quite a fall in quality and service recently. We are long time customers of Marche and had such a disappointing experience last week. There was a pre fixe menu for Mother's Day and the options were underwhelming and the service was lousy. But worst of all, there was a hair in one of our salads and neither the server nor management did anything about it. The pre fixe was $50 and we expect a little more for the money. We travel a lot and eat in all kinds of restaurants, but I have never had anyone seem so completely uninterested in a problem. I even privately messaged the restaurant to let them know of the issue, but no one cared enough to get back to me. We weren't even asking for anything, I just wanted them to acknowledge the issue. So, unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Arrived for Sunday brunch around noon. They have a nice wine shop. Decent selection at fair prices. They will even let you purchase wine and for a modest corkage fee you can have it at your table. After looking through wines we spoke with a Hostess and we're seated at the base of the stairs even though there were tables open next to the windows. We did not have a reservation. Perhaps those tables were reserved. No big deal. After few minutes our waiter came over and took our drink order. Pat your table. After looking through wines we spoke with a hostess and we're seated at the base of the stairs even though they're were tables open next to the windows. We did not have a reservation. Perhaps those tables were reserved. No big deal. After a few minutes are waiter team over and took our drink water. Shocked see the minimum price on a glass of champagne was $19. A little bit out of line. I ordered a bloody Mary. After a ride and a few sips later I noticed something was terribly wrong. Basically it tasted like water down spicy tomato juice.. I was in the process of calling the waiter over when he started the conversation and asked how I enjoyed the Bloody Mary made with sake.? Really? He said we don't have a liquor license. Well we just got it but we haven't revamped our menu yet. So we make the Bloody Marys with sake. Are you kidding me? If you're serving me something totally out of the ordinary you should definitely tell me first. I would never have ordered a Bloody Mary made with sake. Need my vodka.. no bread was ever delivered to our table. Other than that the service was okay. The food was okay. The waiter said it was his first day. I would ask him a question about the food and it seemed like he made up the answers as he went along. I gave him the benefit of the doubt until he told me it was his first day. Then I knew it was all BS.. will probably give the place another chance. But I expected more.

You have to decide whether terrible service and then eating great food is worth it for you. I took my granddaughter to her 19th birthday to what I had hoped to be a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the service was horrendous. The wait staff was frankly dismissive, very lax and not very nice. The food, however, was wonderful. Absolutely delicious. You can make your choice when it comes what matters most. I think today, In Las Vegas, you can get both on a regular basis!

Love this place! Come here every chance we get! Cameron is the hostess with the most-est! She is so kind and personable. Such a conscientious worker! She takes such care with the guests - reviewing the tables and the placement of the sun, adjusting tables, making sure they are level before seating people. Server Ivan took great care of us. The whole crew was magnificent, food runners included. Manager Marty was a gem! Can't recommend highly enough!

Happily stayed off the strip in Summerlin to play golf. A friendly waiter at the Kona Grill (great place) reccomended that we try Marche Bacchus. Wow what a nice spot. When seated we were given a thick booklet of wines by the glass, spirits, etc. When I asked about a wine list of full bottles I was told that I should peruse the "wine shop" that we walked through to get seated. I like wine, but am no expert. There must have been several hundred bins of bottles. All marked with both retail prices and "in restaurant" prices. The "in" prices were a very small mark up. And every bin had write ups on the wine. Really a great concept for a restaurant. On to the food; Tremendous meal. If I recall my wife had some fish. I was torn between two entrees so I asked the waiter to pick. He did a tremendous job of actually putting together a hybrid by adding a few things and subtracting several. At any rate it was as good a meal as I've had out in a long long time. Even if I'm staying on the strip in the future I will make the drive to Summerlin. It's well worth the effort to find this gem.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, we drove 40 min from Henderson to try it. Restaurant is water-front, however, ceiling to floor windows were extremely dirty and spider webs and dust and dirt streaks obstructed the view. Floor has not been swept who knows for how long, waiter moved a wine bottle stand and there was a bunch of dust and hair underneath. Table next to us was definitely overserved and patrons drunk at 11.30 on Sunday morning which means loud and obnoxious. We asked to be seated elsewhere as we could not even have a conversation due to behavior at a table next to ours. While several tables were available, hostess refused to reseat us telling us people will be coming later and she could not reseat us. We finished eating and those empty tables were still available. I had an eggplant terrine which tasted good but was barely warm and arugula was wilted which means not very fresh and not crisp. We also had eggs benedict, same thing, barely warm and not seasoned correctly, very bland and no flavor. Coffee was nice and hot but served in a cup that was cracked in several places, so it could literally bust any time. Don't waste your time at this place. There are so many others that are so much cleaner, with better menu and service. Never coming back here for sure.

My wife and I went there on our 45th Anniversary. The manager waited on our table. Sort of. He had to be asked for everything except silverware. Bread and cocktails, Menus, Dessert menus, coffee. Unfortunately, he elected to spend most of his time at larger tables and we were pretty much ignored. Yes, we got our food, which was very good, but the service was clearly sub-par. As we left, I asked to speak to the manager, and that is when I discovered that our waiter was the manager. I told him that we had an issue with the service and he told us we were "horrible guests the entire evening". I told him we would not be returning to the restaurant, and he said he hoped we would never come back. Indifferent service is one thing, but insulting guests after a $200 dinner for two is inexcusable.

This place is quite a find. We sampled so many menu items. The escargot, Bacchus platter, Beef Tartare, Tuna Pizza, Truffle Goat Cheese Napleon, charred Octopus (one of my favorites), Lobster Cavetelli, and a vegan Risotto. This is a very special place. The wine selection quite good. The service was amazing, thank you Eric and Ian.

It is a beautiful setting on the lake. Everything was probably the best I ever had in Las Vegas except the Lobster Bisque. We were two people and split everything. The wagyu steak, the bernaise sauce the fries absolutely perfect. The onion soup was so tasty and the eggplant terrine was wonderful. The lobster bisque was just wrong and inedible. I noticed the table next to me also ordered it and the lady turned it away as well - so no just us. Love the wine shop and the extensive by the glass menu.

So unexpected. The front outside looks like any other restaurant in a strip mall. You walk in to a wine shop with bins of rated wines, most being fairly pricey. Not a wine connoisseur, I don’t understand what the numbers mean but I am sure they are all good. The restaurant is at the back and opens up onto a gorgeous man made lake. What a treat to sit and watch the paddle boaters and the wildlife. the food was excellent with lovely presentation. The ambiance is so nice because of the lake setting. The service was outstanding. Great place for lunch but even better for an intimate dinner. It is far from the strip so really a locals treat.

This is a locals joint located on the water in the Desert Shores community in the west valley about 20 minutes from the strip. The ambiance is very cozy/romantic, made even better by the attached wine shop. A good selection of wine by the glass is available, with reserve wines in 3 or 5 ounce pours. We don’t compare local restaurants to strip stores like Le Cirque or Robouchon which are much higher priced. BM is a quite respectable menu at a more reasonable price. Dinner for two, with two appetizers and two glasses of wine cost us $125 incl. tax. The escargot was a traditional light garlic/herb butter prep. Onion soup had generous rich cheese, not at all salty. Braised short ribs on a bed of truffle grits and duck breast with mixed veggies were well prepared and presented. Waiter was well informed and engaged in conversation about the dishes and chefs. Service was just ok, largely due to small staff. We will return.

You would never know you were in the desert! The escargot is fabulous and my all time favorite special is the veal. Actually, we've never had a bad meal here. The staff is awesome; also, it is a wine store (you can also bring your own for a reasonable corkage fee). The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

This is where local wine drinkers dine in Las Vegas. A wine store in incorporated into the restaurant makes for a unique experience. The food has been consistently improving over the years (prompting this review) and the Lakeside dining is a treat in Las Vegas.

On the edge of a residential lake, you enter through the wine cellar and pick wine if you like. Seating is on the patio w curtains & heaters for the winter weather. Extensive French and European menu excellently prepared and presented. Superb service to match the food and view. Dress business casual or better to fit in. Appropriate for couples and special occasions.

I had heard so much about this restaurant from so many friends. It was a great experience. It is in Desert Shores right on the water. The food was excellent. We went for Brunch. They have endless Mimosa's for 20.00. I had the French Toast, it was great. My friend had roasted chicken and fries. Great service too. Gianna was the perfect server. Can't wait to go back great wine selection and tastings and entertainment

Wow...last night completely blew me away. I was literally treated like royalty and just can’t stop smiling. Weston Comfort you knocked this anniversary out of the park. I highly recommend Marche Bachus in Desert shores for any and everyone. They provide the absolute best service and the owner Rhonda ❤️ was a huge part of this. The chef came out and talked to us multiple times throughout our evening, Nicole our server was absolutely fantastic and Marty the GM was wonderful again as well. I cried, I laughed, and had one of the best evenings in my 36 years of life. thank you so much for this very special night ❤️❤️❤️

We had a few bottles of wine with our lunch, great prices and great selection of wines, wine is cheaper than you can get from the Vineyard and the food is amazing, we had the lobster crepes and truffled grits, all highly recommended.

Quiet dining in a lakeside setting, with a great menu and fine service. The portions are appropriate to the price (and some are larger), and the food is well prepared and presented. Reservations are not mandatory, but advisable. The wine list is most extensive, not being wine drinkers, the quality and type are unknown to us. This is the place to take someone special just to have a great meal.

We asked for a nice table for my birthday dinner and received one lakeside. We needed to have our nut allergic son accommodated. Marche Bacchus was both confident about doing so and competent in their follow through. The pace of our meal was relaxed, not at all rushed. Best glass of wine I’ve ever had- Bordeaux Blanc. Some of the food we really enjoyed was the French onion soup, truffled Mac and cheese, filet mignon, beef tartare, and foie gras. We highly recommend and will return!

This is a great little restaurant tucked in a residential neighborhood overlooking a small lake. There is a retail wine store connected and you can select your own wines (at retail prices) to pair with your meal. The staff is always ready with good pairing advice. The food is excellent!

wo BAD Visits in a row! Save your money! Came here two weekends in a row for lunch. Both visits had terrible service and mediocre food. Last weekend, we stopped in for an early lunch. We were the only table in the place until another group got seated after us. We came to enjoy BOTH the ambiance of the water and food. The service was bad. We ordered wine when we sat down which never came. It showed up with our food which was ordered well after the wine. The explanation was the the "hostess got busy and she's our bartender." Since there was no one there, it seems she was busy with people attending the FREE wine tasting they have. That's great but, what about us PAYING customers? Today, it was a birthday and we tried again thinking it would be better. IT WAS WORSE THAN LAST WEEKEND. We had three people in our party, one person finally got their wine after 15 minutes. Again, the other 2 DRINKS NEVER CAME. After 20 minutes, our waiter said, "he'd check on it. Someone is making them now, I think." Did we get our drinks? Nope. I got up and spoke to the manager asking if we could please get our drinks (no food order had even been taken yet.) Again, this excuse was the same as last week's excuse, ""hostess got busy and she's our bartender. I'm helping here out now." And today's food? We only ordered an appetizer and no more. Why? The bread was ROCK HARD and the 6 grapes we had were shriveled with BROWN STEMS. Awful. As a manager, you need to recognize when you are short staffed and get the right help. He needs to pay attention and stop making excuses for poor service and focus before losing more customers. WHY ARE YOU HAVING A HOSTESS DOUBLE AS A BARTENDER? Get a dedicated bartender or an extra staff person that does your drink orders! At $16 for a glass of wine you are charging LV Strip prices ~ you can afford proper staffing. This isn't about a drink or food, it's about plain and simple customer service and appreciating your customers. There are WAY too may places to eat in this town to put up with this crap.

We selected this restaurant for our post wedding dinner after struggling to find a nice place on-Strip that didn't want to lock us into a fixed menu or charge outrageous fees for a reservation. We had a table for 8 along the water's edge, and it was absolutely beautiful. Our waiter, Marty, was attentive and made me a mixed drink as I don't drink wine, and my husband had a beer, though others selected wine from the shop. We all loved the food, it was delicious. Note however, that portions are very very small. A memorable meal all around, however, leaving all 8 of us in our party happy with the experience.

Good restaurant with lake views. Waiter was friendly and had a sense of humor. The chururie board aas pretty good. A little lacking though. Could have used some fruit and some other kind of spread to go with it besides mustard. Needed more crackers as well. The scallop risotto was creamy. Cheese ok. Not my favorite kind. Lobster pasta was filled with plenty of lobster in it. The sauce tasted good as well. If interested in wine they have a great selection to choose from. The ambiance was good and would be romantic for couples.

Perfect little spot on a lake! You can pick out your own bottle of wine and have a cheese platter or splurge and have escargot! If you make reservations you may be able to get the table inside, where the doors open up to the lake, this is perfect for sunset! Make sure after dinner you take a little walk to the bridge to view the lake and the stars at night, very romantic and peaceful!

I was so excited to eat at this restaurant and have a romantic evening with my husband. Such a HUGE disappointment. We didn't have reservations but were told we could sit at the bar and be seated in a 1/2 or so. Since it's a wine bar, no problem. However, we were never seated in the dining room. What really made it bad though was a couple came in after us and they were told they would get a table cleaned up right away and seat them. And yes, the couple specifically said they didn't have reservations. Then on top of waiting FOREVER for our food with the excuse that there was a big party in front of us (that excuse doesn't work when you are getting a take out order ready in record time) and we got delivered a dish, but not what was on the menu. The excuse--they forgot to put potatoes on the new menu. The dish was supposed to be chicken, artichokes, tomatoes and asparagus in a lemon buerre blanc sauce. You don't accidentally leave potatoes off that. And it doesn't work with potatoes. There also wasn't an artichoke to be found in the dish and maybe two pieces (not spears, pieces of asparagus) so yet again, lousy excuse. On top of all this, service was poor and I had track down our server to ask for more wine. The owner or manager offered nothing but excuses all night. The chicken was cooked well, but this restaurant is not worth the hassle.

Visited the 2nd of August 2022 to make arrangement in advance for celebrating my Wife's birthday on the following day, the 3rd. Wanted to make sure they had all of her favorite appetizers available prior to our arrival the following day. The next day, Wednesday August 3rd, we arrived at 4:00pm and sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and ordered oysters on the half shell. The bartender left to place the order and quickly returned and told us that they were out of oysters. We said that we understood, and then ordered escargot. Again, the bartender left and quickly returned and explained that they were out of snails. Now we thought that someone was just playing a joke on us, but in good faith we ordered beef tartar. Same results, so we paid for our wine, cancelled our 5:30 dinner reservation and left. Fast forward to 09/06/2022, I'm reading restaurant reviews and I see that the SNHD was in this restaurant on 08/02/2022 at 2:45pm, while I was there making Birthday arrangements, where they issued 30 Health and Safety Demerits, and closed the kitchen down. And yet no one, owner, manager, server, or bar tender took it upon themselves to enlighten me. Instead, they chose to destroy my Wifes birthday.

Went here for their grand re-opening after Covid 19 shutdown to support locally owned businesses. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary and had been stuck at home and this was our first outing. They followed all protocols and we sat on their beautiful open air patio on the lake. Service was top notch and food was outstanding. Had the Bacchus plate for appetizer and it was full of sliced meats, whole grain dijon, pickled veggies, cheeses etc. Followed that with the King salmon on forbidden rice which was flown in from the icy waters of New Zealand. Perfection on a plate! The wine and champagne selection is outstanding and we were introduced to a new rose' champagne by the owner. This place is truly a hidden gem that is off the strip but worth the short drive to have a delightful restaurant experience.

We try to make it to Las vegas once a year and tend to try different restaurants. However, we decided to return to Marche Bacchus after a couple of years and realized why it is our favorite. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to the dessert was fantastic! The escort was one of the best we've tasted. Our server was also efficient and made the evening fun. Next time you are in Las Vegas, the 15 minute ride to this restaurant is definitely worth it!

This is located on a man-made lake in "suburban" Summerlin. It was a lovely setting for a lovely meal. We started with an absolutely delicious Goat Cheese Napoleon, which was a great blend of sweet (honey?) and savory (goat cheese),with a hint of pepper. I had a hanger steak with fries, which was tasty. My husband had an excellent halibut dish, perfectly cooked with a yummy sauce. For dessert, I had the sorbet, which was rich and creamy - more like a gelato. My husband had the creme brulee - also great. The service was friendly and relaxed. Both wines were terrific. Overall, it was a relaxing and excellent meal.

Visited this place because an event was being held here. Didnt get to sample their full dining experience, nor did I get buying any of their wine from their shop. However, judging from the sampler tasters I experienced whilst there, I realised that the food served here was not to my palate. Thats not to say the food was not good, just that I am not used to some of the more subtle flavours they used. MAGNIFICENT view of a lake from the tables.

Excellent food! We go frequently for lunch when we are in Las Vegas. We enjoy the scenery and ambiance of the establishment. Servers are always friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing! And prices are reasonable!

Upscale French-inspired cuisine in an unpretentious, casual atmosphere. Walk into a high-end wine shoppe to browse while waiting to be seated. Choose your wine for dinner at retail with a $10 corking fee, which is like a minimal mark-up considering other restaurants mark up 2-3 times retail. Staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine providing honest recommendations. Varied menu made it hard to decide, but everything we had was excellent from appetizers to desserts. I can highly recommend this experience.

I had read about this place online as a lover of wine and it was the best meal we had on a week long trip to Las Vegas. The atmosphere is very nice being located on the water and there is a farm-chic feel to the place. It is a cool concept that you can pick out your wine while you wait and we grabbed a great bottle. I was a little disappointed that the sommelier did not offer any assistance as we wandered for about 20 minutes knowing in general what we were looking for, but could have used expert suggestions. The dining experience was very good all around and it is not a fast paced place, so make sure you have enough time to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. It did take a while for our initial orders to be taken and we had to ask for bread to be brought to the table. The waiter handled the $100+ bottle of wine with the care it deserved and that was appreciated. The food was incredible and unmatched at any other restaurant we ate at in Las Vegas. From the appetizers to the desserts, the flavors and techniques were right on and the portions were perfect. We left feeling full but not stuffed with the flavors lingering on our palates. We will definitely be back, we'll just hope for better service next time, we expect a little more when dropping over $100 per person on dinner.

Still managed to wow me after all those years. The service was impeccable on that Saturday night. The restaurant was full, as there was a wine tasting evening going on. I ordered the best escargots with estragon ever. I true marvel. The followed with cavatelli with lobster. I was completely overwhelmed. Just perfect pasta combination. Desserts where equally divine... limoncello soufflé. Thank you again for this pure moment of joy and peace, in a city that is all too noisy and over the top.

I met a couple girlfriends here and we enjoyed our meals. I always order the quiche because they do a great job with it and I always seem to go for brunch. The ambience makes up for the higher prices.

Marche Bacchus is a combination restaurant-wine store where the wine list is ... the store itself: you pick a bottle in their outstanding selection and take it to the table. I have been there a few times now and the food is excellent. I can recommend the egg plant appetizer, the filet mignon (rare), the lobster pasta, the mussels, etc. The desserts (from a small list) are just right. The wines are great and only carry a small mark-up from retail prices. The location by the lake is very pleasant. Try it, you’ll like it!

From the location to the food, everything was perfect. We found this hidden gem out of the chaos of the strip, and it was a revelation. Our waiter Marty took care of us in every single detail of the meal, we were sat by the lake, where the view was just surreal. Every dish was delicate and delicious, the meat was melting in our mouths. You can go and select your wine from a very vaste selection you can actually walk and pick from market style display. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of having brunch at Marche' Bacchus while on vacation in Las Vegas. We were looking for somewhere quiet, away from the Strip and that's just what we found!! The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious! The restaurant is located on a man-made lake about 30 minutes north of the Strip and well worth the drive. I had the poached eggs, asparagus, crab meat with hollandaise sause, which was amazing. My friend had Quiche Lorraine and salad - also delicious. We were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food, away from the noise and bright lights of the city.

We had a great family dinner and wine selection. All meals were cooked perfectly and Vince our waiter was fantastic with suggestions and conversation.
A Disappointing Thanksgiving
We drove here from the Four Seasons for Thanksgiving dinner. Room service would have been a better idea. Marché Bacchus cavernous space includes a retail wine store, a couple of interior rooms, and an enclosed patio overlooking a small lake, The set turkey dinner was $45.00 for salad, turkey, sides, and dessert. This wouldn't be a bad deal if anything tasted good. Nothing did. According to my companions, the salads were tasteless, the turkey dry, and the desserts in eatable. I ordered off the a la carte menu with a bit more fortune. While my goat cheese tarte was cloyingly sweet with a honey dripping, my braised beef tenderloin bits were rather tasty. The pecan pie was a tasteless tarte, rather than any piece of pie. Marché Bacchus serves only wine and beer, and must be the only restaurant in Las Vegas that doesn't serve liquor. There wine list is decent, but I so wanted a cocktail. Service was quite good, and I felt bad knowing he realized we weren't enjoying our meal. The 30 minute drive from the Four Seasons was such a wasted trip. Marché Bacchus did not provide a memorable Thanksgiving. .
