Saw a sign for happy hour. Looked at the items listed and stopped in for a quick bite. After a review of the full menu in comparison to what was listed for happy hour. Not sure how it’s happy hour. Prices were the same as the regular menu. Decided on the volcano nachos to share. Pretty decent. Could have used a lot more salsa for the under layer chips. Would I go back. Nah. Would I discourage anyone from going. No. Service was great. Our waiter kept returning to refill waters and to check on us.

We have eaten at one of these in Orlando in the past so thought we would try this one out. Service was good. Food was amazing but oh my was it huge! Sadly I couldn’t eat it all but it was so tasty. We had some cocktails which were also good. Will visit again next time we are in the USA.

First of all, our bartender, Angel, was great-charming and attentive. Our appetizer sampler was good, the drinks were subpar. I've had great experiences at other locations, but this one was disappointing overall.

We ate her Saturday night. Our server was very friendly but she didn't check on us as often as I would have liked. Food was okay, but expensive. The music was too loud to sit outside so we ate indoors. Clean restroom, but no paper towel or hand dryer.

The best service in all Miami. We ate in the restaurant and we were served by Christian. He was so friendly and the food delicious. We shopped intheir store and we're served by Matthew and Pat. These guys couldn't have been more helpful. If customer service and helpful friendly staff were anything to go by the restaurant and shop are in the best of hands. Highly recommend this place for food, location and the quality of staff

My family had a great experience at this location. Carolina took great care of us and we enjoyed the food and drinks!

We stopped in for lunch and were met by Eric. He seated us right away and was also our waiter. The margaritas were fantastic and the volcano nachos were excellent. Eric was a very friendly and hospitable host. Will definitely go back

Out of all the restaurants in Miami, we choose Margaritaville to honor the late Jimmy Buffet. We had a horrible experience! We sat outside. We had to go the bar to order our own drinks. No one ever came over to take our dinner order so we had to order from the bartender at the bar. The food was horrible and not as described on the menu. Tables around us had plates of food left and were never cleaned up. Very very sad!

Restaurant in Bayside just opposite the Ferris Wheel, very beautiful setting and magnificent view. Very good and quick meal. The waiter completely to the west waited 15 minutes to pay the bill even though there were 3 tables.

They don’t accept chip credit cards, forcing you pay in cash. I will not return. It’s lake a “trap”. Credit card is the most safe payment way.

Agree with Stacey’s review, this place is running quite the gratuity scam. After drinks and dinner at the bar I was handed the little black box with $137 on it and told to follow the prompts. I asked to see the details and our bartender/waitress flipped to another screen to show me the line items. I agreed and added a 22% tip. My receipt showed $137 plus $38 tip for a total of &211. When I told her it didn’t add up she said there were other fees and taxes. Really! Manager came and supposedly took $24 off the bill which was the automatics 18% gratuity that they do not tell you about. I would give my bartender and this place five stars if not for that experience. We shall see if the $24 refund hits my account. You leave here feeling scammed.

I had lunch with my family. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The food was mediocre and very expensive. The service was poor. It seems as if the server didn't care much about us. Pros: - Location Cons: - Expensive - Mediocre food - Poor service - 18% on all orders

This is a great spot for casual eating. You can eat inside or outside. There are a lot of choices on the menu. I had the chicken tenders with a salad. It was a big portion The waitstaff was understanding to food sensitivity. I love how the inside was tropical.

Service was awful. We ordered 3 appetizers and a couple drinks and it took 2 hours. No they were not busy. Other waitstaff was getting their food out timely. Our server never checked on us. Never offered and explanation. In fact we saw him 3 times. When he took the order, when he brought the food, and when he brought the bill. And we had to have another server chase him down to get the bill as well as bring our change. And when they told him we were waiting he couldnt have cared less by his body language. He lied and told us the credit card machine was down which it wasnt. We were clearly not the only table in this servers section with this problem. There was another server who yelled at our group of 10 to get out of the way while they were preparing us a table and he could be heard yelling at other staff just out of site of customers. Overall we missed doing other things on our visit to Bayside because of the slow, down right rude customer service. There are plenty of other options when visiting Bayside I suggest anything else.

We were there on an evening where the outside temp was in the 30's. Outside door was open to the bar and it was freezing inside. The staff was good, but the food was the worst I have ever had at a Margaritaville Restaurant. Only a few other customers were there.

This is a perfect location for lunch. Great view of the bay itself, boating activity, and all the action at the marina shops. The food isn't terrific, but come for the views and the great services. It's a very fun vibe!

Wherever I see a Margaritaville I know I’m in for a good time !!! Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance. Great servers who really make you feel welcome ! Serving the best Margaritas ever !! If you want to party you must visit this place, highly recommended

Fantastic experience. So good we went back 3 times during our trip in Miami. Drinks were excellent, staff was fantastic and food was great, we did wait a little long for our side of chips which by the time they arrived we were almost done but other than that it was great. Bar staff were fantastic ! Shop staff and other staff members were a little slower but still very friendly and happy to help. Overall great experience.

Had dinner here on the off chance as it looked like a popular restaurant. Firstly there were tables under the Ferris wheel side however the server took us to the far right next to a busy side and asked to wait till they cleaned the table we asked to be sat on the other side and after some arguing between the servers was sat under the Ferris wheel. Post a mediocre dinner tough fish tacos and tasteless salon mains I was questioned by a server inside as to why I was going to use the restroom. I said as I’m using the restaurant, how arrogant can people get. On giving my bill I noticed a large tip had already been added by the server and then post payment another tip was requested. On questioning was told all Miami hotels add a tip and it’s company policy to question all those that go to use the restrooms. Run by kids expect kids serving you.

Best staff (Angel and Nino), best drinks and best foods! They made our stay very special and we had an amazing time! Thank you for everything!

I'm a huge Jimmy Buffett fan and loved the theming! When I came in, I thought the price was more for the atmosphere than the food (think Rainforest Café), but Margaritaville proved me wrong! Our server was super friendly and gave us excellent recommendations on where to find secluded beaches in the hustle and bustle of Miami, and our food was great! I would only ask for more Jimmy Buffett music and for the pictures to be better edited.

What a great experience at the Miami Bayside Margaritaville! The vibe was fantastic (island music playing in the background) and our waiter (the bartender) was a pleasure to speak to. He made my daughter a beautifully decorated virgin pina colada that she absolutely LOVED. Every drink my husband and I ordered was phenomenal (hint: if one of the ingredients in a drink is moonshine, order it). My daughter also had the molten chocolate bundt cake and it was delicious. This location was better than the one I have at home (Vegas) simply based on the customer service, the location (on the water), and the quality of drinks. This was one of our favorite moments of our vacation and was shocked that THIS was one of the highlights once we returned home. Definitely go check it out!

Margaritaville in Miami, Florida offers an exceptional experience with its stunning waterfront location in a bustling mall area. The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly its creative and visually impressive drinks, accompanied by impeccable service. The bartenders, hailing from NYC, not only excel in mixology but also charm patrons with their humor and engaging personalities. The combination of scenic views, delightful beverages, and top-notch service makes Margaritaville a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable drinking experience in Miami.

We had drinks and nachos while visiting bayside. Our server was fabulous. All drinks and food were great. Would recommend.

First visit to Miami friends brought me to the Bayside Marketplace. We decided on evening meal and Margaritaville conveniently located. Attentive server with recommendations offered but not overly pushy. We are tourists so when the photographer came by we indulged for photo souvenirs. Appetizer Trio just enough for the 4 of us to enjoy. Varied drink orders (I had the Old Fashioned) then our entrees were hot and filling.

Enjoyed a quick top. The bartender on the patio Lisa was FANTASTIC. We had nachos that were not skimpy and very tasty. Also, loved that we could get souvenirs for the Parrothead's in our life!

Walked in here looking for a quick bite to eat (it was 3:00pm) and waiting 20 min to sit down and another 20 min after we sat at our table to get service. Tables were being turned over repeatedly next to us due to long service times. The staff are disassociated and not trained properly. Our side plates were delivered dirty as well as the server handing us silverware that was held from the top 🤢. The food was subpar, we ended up just ordering appetizers because they were out of most the items on the menu. They charge fees if using a credit card so use cash if you do decide to try it. We will not be returning, very disappointed!

Great place, fantastique choice of margaritas (that you can get large), good food. Staff is adorable and very helpful. Try especially to be served by Charles, he’s the best.

The food tasted like it came from the frozen food section of any grocery store and the alcoholic drinks tasted watered down. The poor value for your money and I want to add a tip not have it added to my bill.

I was expecting a more unique experience, but the ambience was pretty standard other than there was a gift shop. Food was routine and a bit pricey. Our young server was excellent - for a party of 9 - she did a great job staying on top of our orders, refills, etc.

Very poor, i ordered with chicken , but no chicken, very few picó de gallo, no sour cream, no guacamole it was not good, i felt like i lost my money... It is no fair.. i do not undesrstand..??????

We had an amazing time! My family was on a really tight schedule because we booked a boat tour and had a little time to eat. Alex and Caroline were our servers and we're absolutely excellent. They had drinks and food for seven out in 20 minutes. We ate, laughed, drink, and still had time to make our boat tour. Kudos to the staff at Margaritaville in Biscayne Bay!!!

My family and I stopped in for lunch after returning from cruise. It’s my failure that I didn’t pay attention or ask more questions but we were tired and exhausted. Although the food was good my daughter was going to get a kid’s cheeseburger but was encouraged to get a regular size by the waiter because according to him the size is much smaller when truly not much different. Also, I was automatically given the largest size drink without asking for it. My own fault for not realizing not having never been there I wasn’t aware. An automatic 18% tip is added so our waiter was definitely making sure he got his cut and taking advantage of tourist.

It’s was just ok nothing special about the food they service or the restaurant it’s self and for some reason this place as a lot of taxes and tips are automatically add at 18% wasn’t happy about that for average food

My family and I were visiting from the UK and decided to eat at Margaritaville to try cuisines that are different than our norm. Upon arrival, we overheard an intense dispute between what looked to be an employee and a manager. The manager was extremely irate, and it was very concerning. I was able to get his name from an employee; it is Johnny. My mother-in-law and three-year-old were hysterical and were on edge during the entirety of our visit. Nonetheless, the food was pretty tasty, and I would return if only the atmosphere were more peaceful. The drink Incognito alone is worth another visit. Also, there was a leaky ceiling that is very off-putting.

We sought out a restaurant whose name we recognized, so that's how we landed here. Food was standard Margaritaville Faire - nothing to write home about. Service was SLOW and the food was expensive. There were times when the server disappeared and we didn't see here for a while - including when I gave her my credit card. We were traveling, so the last thing I needed was credit card issues. So we waited, and waited. After about fifteen minutes, I went looking for her inside (we were sitting outside) and she made me follow her back to the table where she gave my bill and credit card to my son. (????) We won't have a reason to go back to this particular restaurant, but the wait staff needs to know to process those cards and get them back to the owner.

Bayside’s Margaritaville Restaurant in Miami is a pleasant place with outdoor tables, harborfront, Piers 5. The food, nothing extraordinary and rather typical of a port like Jambalaya, but the Service is terrible, particularly the waiter Luis. Without consulting the customer integrate an 18% tip in the final ticket trying to show that it is something mandatory. The waiter’s attitude was always hostile and disrespectful when we asked him to correct the tip, as the ticket itself clarifies that it is suggested and not mandatory,

After our cruise on the Celebration in October, and after our tour of Miami we decided to grab a bite to eat. Took a lyft to Margaritaville near the Port of Miami. Great atmosphere and the food was good, my wife and I had the fish and chips with jalapeño tarter sauce and my daughter had the bbq ribs. Both were great and the view from our table was fantastic.

Bathrooms werea disaster...had to tell hostess to go check them out no soap, trash falling out of trash cans...very slow service...table next to us tired of waiting for food so they left...another table didn't get what was ordered..husband said burger good ..i had chiken and shrimp...it was bland and not worth 23$..wont be back here...

Great food and amazing service! We’ve been going to Miami for years and for the first time spent the day at Bayside. Lisa was friendly and had amazing service and great food recommendations!

Came here for a light dinner after tooling around Bayside. I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars as it didn't have the great Margaritaville vibe that most of these restaurants do. It was kinda quiet! BUT, the food, as usual, was great. 4 of us split the volcano nachos and that worked just fine. Drinks were tasty and our guest picked some items up from the store. We would go back!

We went there Thursday night before the Miami heat game. When we first got there it was Kind of empty. We had two drinks each and two sandwiches. As it got Closer to the start of the game the restaurant got a little busier and the two servers seemed busy. We needed to go and we were finally able to flag the server down. We asked for our check and she took a phone sized device out and told us our total. She told me to tap my card and then select tip. I’ve never seen a restaurant not give a check but we were in a rush so I tapped and tipped 20%. While walking to the game I started doing the math in my head and realized we were overcharged. I called the restaurant after the game, a few times on Friday (along with e-mail on the website) and then called again today. After being hung up three times today, Eric answered as the manager. I explained that the server didn’t tell us that gratuity was included. He laughed and say yea what do you want us to do about it. He told me I could call my bank and it’s not their problem. I told him I’ve been in the business for thirty years and a server should always tell the table gratuity was included and I would never tip $50 on $100 check. I tried explaining she didn’t give a check she just held a device and by the time we waited for her to come back to the table we had to go…He laughed and said they always give a receipt and if I was too stupid it was my fault and proceed to hang up On me. I actually wouldn’t have even cared if they had an agree to refund me the second tip.. instead he laughed and said you’re just now calling from Thursday.. I said I have been calling and emailing. mediocre food, slow service, overpriced and apparently dishonest employees… probably worst experience I have had in a long time at a restaurant.

Rudest service I’ve ever paid for. It was so uncomfortable for me and my family. We were rushed out of there and overcharged. Not at all what I was expecting based on reputation. We wasted our money and won’t be back

First, full disclosure, I am a Parrothead. We had a late lunch within a week of its opening and the day before getting on a 7 day Caribbean cruise, seemed like a natural stop. Our server, Eric, was the Best!! The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone that we encountered from the moment we entered until we left, had a smile on their face and provided excellent service. I am looking forward to our return the next time we are in Miami. Highly recommend it!

We didn't feel like we was Welcome.. rude server.. they sat us down..after reviewing the menu outside they took our drink order.. one of my guest stated shes ready to order . Server stated " drink mami" we then stated we are ready to order .then was told ..you guys jus come
Good view
We spent an afternoon with the family having drinks and beers and biting a super spectacular volcano just point out to put more cheese sauce otherwise 10-10
