Worst service ever! Margaritas are nothing more than flavored water!

By Wendy R |

I have been to several Margaritavilles. This is HANDS DOWN THE WORST! First, waiting on water?!? Seriously how long does it take? I ordered a Watermelon Margarita, which was served to the table before the waters.... The Watermelon Margarita tasted like flavored water.... I paid for high end flavored water. Our food was good. I have no complaints about the food. Our waitress was horrible! I asked her a question and she promptly answered, my husband asked the exact same question after I ordered, and was told something completely different. The service here is absolutely horrible! This location needs to be shut down and the entire staff needs to be retrained! There is NO and I mean NO excuse what so ever for the crap service! When people are paying $14 for a hamburger, I think the service needs to be a lot better! After our meal, was sat there at the table and waited over 30 minutes just to get our tickets. Then, my husband asked for the military discount. Our waitress took yet another 10 minutes to come back with the ticket, and nope- no military discount. It's bad when I refuse to tip. This chick got to tip from us! I don't think my husband will ever let us go to any of the locations ever again!

Great drinks

By Tlterry123 |

Stopped by as we walked the Riverwalk and grabbed seats facing the River. Games showing, drinks flowing and service was great. Live music was a nice touch and of course the margaritas were on point.

Bad food and expensive

By Sergio |

Bad food, expensive and very slow service. We didn’t like any plate, And for sure we don’t recommend this place. The location is the only good thing.

Just What We Expected

By MunsonTraveler |

While cruising the River Walk with 5 other couples decided to stop here for lunch after shopping at River Center Mall. They were very accommodating in setting up additional outside seating for us. Very good for sandwiches and of course my wife and I had the "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" which were huge and very good. A couple of draft beers made for a nice afternoon stop over..

Great food and service! Highly recommend it!

By j_wenner |

We visited Margaritaville for dinner on 6/28 in San Antonio, TX on the River Walk. They were able to accommodate our family group of 9 at a large booth. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. They had a photographer come around and take photos of our table, with which they gave us a small free copy and then had other copies of the photos for sale. We chose to just get the free copy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that visits the San Antonio area!

Service was Poor

By tntfnt |

We were here several times during our stay. Had appetizers and drinks one afternoon on the patio. Service and food was great. Came back one evening for dinner and the service was awful. Food was cold. Not a good experience.

Margarita : 2 sips and its gone

By marilynnlomazow |

We went to Margaritaville because we were on a hunt for the best classic Margarita in San Antonio... some places water down their booze and or use so much ice it's ridiculous. I assumed since the name was Margaritaville we would get a good one..we ordered the classic " perfect ' margarita which comes on the rocks. Having worked in a bar in my youth, I know some things about glass sizes and how restaurants and bars can have small sizes that resemble the larger ones and you don't realize... well this takes the cake. They had a a wide mouth margarita glass that holds maybe 8 ounces shaped to look like a reg size 15 oz one but it wasn't. When filled with ice cubes we got about 3 ounces of drink for $11. I drank it in 2 sips.. not kidding!. I will say it was really good ... (hence an extra star) but not worth it at all. Who are you fooling? Consumer be aware!! I had a skinny margarita in Casa Rio that was good and very large maybe 12 oz.... not much or hardly any tequila in it... but next time I will just add a shot or 2 and get that one again

Great bar along the river walk

By Dr Stephen |

My wife and I called here for drinks during our walking tour if San Antonio. Specifically, we sat at the “5 o’clock somewhere” bar outside Margaritaville. Big TVs, good beers and a river view. What more could you ask for?

Good service & location with a delicious but small & expensive Sirloin

By Nathan81255060 |

Hadn't had a nice steak in a while and thought I would give this place a try as it wasn't busy at lunch on a weekday and it was a comfortable temperature outside so sat by the river. Ordered the Sirloin and was glad I did as it was super tasty and just what was needed! Unfortunately as seems to be the case in all restaurants in San Antonio though the meat is quite expensive for the portions, but since it was that tasty, overall lunch was enjoyable

It’s Margaritaville- what’s not to love?

By JoozUK |

We specifically came here as we love Jimmy and the whole Margaritaville vibe! It’s a theme restaurant, so no real gourmet delights, but food was fine and the service was friendly. Cocktails obviously were fab! One thing we didn’t like was seeing the calorie count on every dish on the menu. It was quite frightening! We go out to eat on vacation and enjoy ourselves. Stuff the diet. Being reminded of our gluttony was no fun 😂

Overrated

By WillTravel33 |

Have seen Margaritaville restaurants at several vacation destinations. This was our first time dining at one of the restaurants. We were expecting the food to be great. Unfortunately, the food was average at best and was overpriced. All of the menu items were $15.00-$20.00, except for the kids menu $9.99. The best part of the experience was the music.

Meh experience

By Christopher B |

Visited on a friday evening, husband, wife & 2 boys. Expected a wait was seated fairly quickly. Ordered a kids burger, kids chicken strips, cuban and fish and chips, along with an appetizer. Service was average initially, but we recieved no plates with our appetizer, no napkins, no silverware. Had to ask for refills when meals were delivered because we hadnt seen our waiter. Also had to wave him down from another table to finally get our silverware and napkins. Chicken fingers were dry, had to ask for ketchup to moisten them. Cuban was overcooked, hard. Blended drinks were underwhelming and overpriced. This is my third Margaritaville experience and the most disappointing of all.

AWESOME!!!! Couldn't have been better!

By TexasBuffettFan |

We went here for lunch on a Friday and were very, very impressed. The servers were all wearing face coverings and maintaining proper social distancing. The service was outstanding from start to finish and the restaurant has taken lots of precautions to make sure you feel safe. The food came out pretty quickly and the drinks were never empty. Would definitely 1000% go back! The Beach Club sandwich is huge and is great!

great lunch spot

By Neal B |

nicely greeted for lunch. quick enough service to get in and out in an hour. friend service and love the grilled chicken salad

Awesome experience!

By Domestic_TravelerDM |

I stop at this place every time I am in San Antonio because it is so great! The margaritas are amazing (not too strong) and the food is really good. The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. It is also located in a prime location!

Very disappointed

By 200rachellg |

We have been wanting to try Margaritaville for some time and took advantage being in San Antonio to do so. Wish we had a opted for a San Antonio original or another chain instead. The drinks were wrong and when questioned, I was told that it was the right drink even though the ingredients were not what was listed. Then the food came out lukewarm to cold and was very bland. Service was OK but not exceptional. Very disappointed.

Nice wait staff

By cfi360 |

Went over the weekend with family, we enjoyed the meal but the server was so sweet and knowledgeable. She engaged with us even though it was busy. Will definitely return

Disappointing

By Linda L |

My food was overly priced. I spent over $50 for a grilled chicken salad, Jambalaya, and two margaritas (it was during happy hour). The salad wasn't that big and the margaritas weren't that strong. The food did taste good but not enough for the price.

It's OK

By riceburnergrace |

My husband and I came here because we'd never been to a Margaritaville before. The drinks were just OK. Perhaps we expected better from a place called Margaritaville? Pricing was reasonable though.

Good Food and Service!

By Heather C |

Myself, my two boys, my husband, and my in-laws were visiting the Riverwalk on a Tuesday. We decided to eat at Margaritaville. We were seated almost immediately. It wasn't very busy, but we were there past the lunch rush hour. Our waiter was a friendly young man. He took our drink order and brought them out right away. I ordered the southwest grilled chicken salad. Others had burgers or fish and chips. Our food was brought out in a decent amount of time, and it was all very tasty! I thought I would be disappointed with my salad, but it was actually very good. The food is a bit pricey for what it is, but I figured this is because it's on the Riverwalk and it's the sort of restaurant that would be a bit pricey. It's not too too expensive though. I'd probably eat at Margaritaville again if I'm in the area though!

So fun

By Denise Z |

WE came in for dinner and stayed most of the night. great waitstaff. They had a band that was really good. The aviance is way cool. Great food and good drinks.

Offensive Odor

By LuvToTravelx2 |

During our stay on the Riverwalk we ventured to River Center for lunch. We waited approx. 20 minutes for Margaritaville to open their doors and when they did, we immediately decided this was not the place for us. There was an overwhelming odor of mildew or sewer gas to greet us at the hostess area. I cannot believe the employees or the manager didn’t notice it, but we did and it was offensive. We chose the Yard House instead … no issues there.

not what Jimmy had in mind

By Kenneth B |

sat out side by the river-walk. this location is just across from the river mall (or whatever they call it). So not bad view could be better though. fairly pricey food and drinks. I got a "cheese burger in paradise" and it was far from it. The burger was burnt; not well done. the side pickle was good maybe when it was taken out of the jar last week. fries were edible; most of them. I expected more. They also had timeshare sales people very near the main entrance using Jimmy Buffets name in their pitch.

Great service

By DNF630 |

The service was outstanding and so was the food. If you are there for a conference there is a discount as well!

Disappointing Customer Service

By Julia L |

Disappointed. Although the food was good and service was great we will not be back. It was my son's 21st birthday and out of all the places we could go for lunch, he wanted to visit Margaritaville for the 1st time. I signed us up for the Fins Up club online a week before our visit and saw he could get a free app for his birthday. He never received an email from the Club on his birthday but I thought I'd still ask the server if they would honor the free app, since it was his birthday (easily verifiable.) She said the DIRECTOR was working that day and she would ask if she could honor the free birthday app. She came back apologetically saying the DIRECTOR said no, we had to have the email (that never came, we checked the spam and trash folder as well.) I'm not sure why a DIRECTOR would not want to make a customer's day and provide great customer service by giving us a measly free appetizer for someone's special day. It left a very sour taste in my mouth and we will NOT be back, nor will I recommend this place to anyone else.

Just wow

By Lorraine |

The food here is so good. The experience and entertainment was great. This is the 3rd city we’ve stopped at one and they have all been great. Love the shop too.

Good Drinks

By Jan H |

I went for dinner, but wish I only had a drink. The service was good, but the food is not. The restaurant is big and right on the river, but it is really pricey. I would not recommend the food, but my frozen margarita was very good.

Don't waste away in this margaritaville

By ranchonodinero |

Poor service and they really were not that crowded. Right as we were about to leave, someone waited on us. Had a burger that was overpriced.

Dinner

By Micki T |

The food and service were excellent they had live music which was also great would differently recommend this place

it is a chain restaurant

By Sean K |

somewhat expensive, and chain restaurant food. what you expected, but enjoyed the music and clean environment

Average Sandwich

By Traveler76AZ |

I stopped in for lunch. They wait was a little long. I had the beech club. It was average, a little dry. The fries were good.

Great Supper After Long Day if Shopping

By cassemlee |

We had a party of 8, were seated quick, and had a great table. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Our server, Taylor, went above and beyond.

Just ok

By Trose69 |

Had the Cuban which was good but the perfect margarita was just ok, not perfect but perfectly overpriced as was the food. Not worth the price you pay!

Not impressed

By Laura S |

We were not impressed with this restaurant. We had never ate here so we were excited to try this experience. I thought we would be wowed by the decor in the dining room. We were not. The food did not have a lot of taste. Just mediocre!

good burgers

By firebear1961 |

I stopped by here for lunch on Monday, was given a choice to sit inside or outside near the water. My server was great, The food came and was very good.

Expensive and disappointing.

By Janet R |

We spent just under $300 for various dishes. The Salmon was good. Nothing else was worth the cost. The bar-b-que was not tasty, the shrimp and chicken was blah. Disappointed.

Good American Cuisine

By LJCLose |

Highly recommend sitting on the patio along the walk and river. The menu was standard, but the food was good (although a bit pricey). The staff were friendly.

Very nice 👍🏼 place to eat next to river walk

By nexlevelife |

If you are at the San Antonio river center mall stop by this place to eat. The food is so good and the atmosphere is awesome. Nice place to rest and eat a great meal with the family.

How can you ruin french fries?

By Rick M |

I was really, really hungry and they had a lot of empty seats...and beer. But the beer wasn't very good, the burger was very sloppy and didn't taste fresh and the french fries tasted of old grease and maybe were freezer burnt. It was very disappointing. The service was good but good enough I'll be returning any time soon.

Average food, poor value

By Kathy W |

If you’re looking for clever atmosphere and a family friendly place along the Riverwalk then this is convenient. Stick to the burger fare and you’ll fine. We had the shrimp jambalaya which was ok and chicken fajitas, disappointing. The fajitas came with a tiny amount of condiments and three, small tortillas. If you want more tortillas or condiments to finish your chicken and veggies, it’ll cost you! They nickel and dime you...actually dollar you with each tablespoon of condiments. I was charged $6.50 for a small, extra amount of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. The service was efficient, not overly friendly. With so many really great places on San Antonio’s Riverwalk, Is walk on by this place.

Decent Meal, Great Margaritas, Very Noisey

By Hattie748 |

We were hungry, this place looked good, so in we went. The food and service was good, nothing extraordinary, but we enjoyed our time there.

One of the best places to spend an evening

By EricBlairFawkes |

I absolutely love this place. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the drinks are marvelous. Once things get back to normal, this is my first place to visit!!!!'

Atmosphere great -- food and drinks not so much

By lucsimsthomas |

While waiting to see Pink, my friend and I stopped by this restaurant to see if we could get served within a reasonable amount of time. Given the number of people downtown to see Pink who were looking for some before-the-concert food and drinks, the wait time was not too bad. The atmosphere here is great. Our server was also great. I ordered a frozen margarita that was not that great. The spinach and artichoke dip was not that great, but we had a great time anyway killing time as we waited for the concert venue to open. My friend had the Skinny Margarita on the rocks and she said it was pretty good. They also give a military discount, which I did not expect.

Great place on Riverwalk

By brendaleed2016 |

We had a nice evening of drinks and horsdevors after a convention. Great margaritas and the avocado dip was excellent. Nice walk along Riverwalk

For Parrot-heads

By bownser |

Had lunch, 2pm not busy. Service was great good was good. Split a Cheeseburger in Paradise and Island Cuban. Came with fries. Asked for some extra sauce for fries with no problem. Left full and satisfied! Great music, great videos of Jimmy Buffet. Got a discount card for $5 off a shirt in the store. Very large space so a good time can be had by all!

Beautiful View ( Out door seating )

By NVP P |

Our wait staff Whitney was very patient and accommodating. We had Perfect Margarita, Watermelon Margarita and Uptown Margarita. The Shrimp Lava Lava and Spinach Artichoke dip was delicious. The view was beautiful we were seated outdoor in the river walk.

Drinks and fun.

By Joe M |

Had drinks with some friends. Wow yum. good drinks and great service. Loved looking at the river. It's a chill location.

Nice bar/casual dining RIGHT on the River Walk

By John D |

Stopped there to eat and drink with some friends from the convention and the breeze made the outdoor bar area quite pleaseant despite the 95+ degree temperatures! $3 beer for Happy Hour was a VERY pleasant surprise!!

Just okay

By Tammy F |

We were excited to go here but we were disappointed with our visit. The food was just okay and the drinks weren't much better but both were very expensive. Wouldn't go back as there are too many better choices around.

Nice happy hour

By Traci S |

We were just here for happy hour, they have a good one here, we loved the Southwestern Egg rolls, wonderful. Margaritas were a good price too. Be careful of the beer, they have 3 or 4 classifications of their beer so if you are looking for happy hour, be sure to ask them what beers and what sizes are on happy hour as unfortunately they aren't very forthcoming on that.

Fun and Colorful Restaurant

By Donna F |

The waitress was very helpful. We had burgers and fries and they were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was playful and upbeat.

Typical Margaritaville —loud, crowded, lots of good food

By shayfree |

The restaurant isn’t on the river, but it does have a small outdoor patio on the river. We were surprised with the type of music we heard —no Jimmy Buffet—?? But the food was good, although the service was a little slower than usual, maybe because of the huge crowd there at 2 PM. It was too cold to go to the patio :(. To avoid the long wait, we ate in the bar and it was just fine.

Good Service Standard Menu

By Sarah B |

Lovely waitress, lovely view down by the River Walk. Easy access from the two Marriott's - there were not many vegetarian options sadly - so we ordered appetizers. The margaritas were great !

Nice place

By Erika071875 |

A really clean restaurant. It's at the river walk. You have a choice to eat inside or outside.Employee were nice and the food came out pretty fast. The have music and tv around the restaurant.

FUN FUN FUN

This is the spot by far. Excellent service, great music and was at the bottom of our hotel conveniently. Fresh food and tasty drinks. Love it.

Good margarita's

By ElConquistador000 |

We just stopped in here for a margarita and weren't disappointed. It turns out it was happy hour so we stayed for a few of them. Good time on the river walk.

Restaurant right on Riverwalk. Friendly, attentive staff. No rush they took time to engage in conversation even though the restaurant was busy. Did not push drinks but made suggestions and took care of us. Mid priced

Spend your money elsewhere

By ASeier_Travels |

Margaritaville was a good time. The location is great. There is a inside bar/restaurant option, or you can sit at the bar or a table outside on the deck. The deck provides views of the river. We had lunch here our first night in town. We split a bucket of beer which was a good deal, 5 for $24 (this is considered good for San Antonio). The food was not a good deal however. I had the catch of the day which was grouper fish. It was served with broccoli and rice. The broccoli was so hard I could only eat the tops. The fish was dry, and the rice was nothing to write home about. For the quality of the food, it is way overpriced. Due to the close location to our hotel, we did come back for more drinks later that night. The bar does last call at 1am. I found this strange because every other bar is usually 2am. The bartender was ruse and clearly did not want to be there anymore. I group next to me got a large amount of shots for last call. I watched him pour on of their shots into a obviously dirty glass.

Very disappointing!!! Had

By Robert M |

Very disappointing!!! Had to wait 20-30 minutes for a beer and mind you they were not busy. The waitress kept looking over but didn’t come to the table. After finally getting my beer it was another 20-30 minutes before the food should up. The ribs were the worst I ever had - no taste. Kant’s all over and the smell of backed up sewer system was pretty ripe. Waitress (Kelly)only came to the table twice. Again very disappointing - never again!!

Just an average place

By Tony A |

We never pass up a Margaritaville in whatever country we find them, but this time I wish we had. The service was slow, the drink was 90% ice and 10% drink....not good....and the food was so, so. Jimmy Buffet would not be happy with the way this place is run.

Nice place

By Dreamer407370 |

Good food, great service. Ashley was the best. Very attentive and friendly. She made us laugh and was a great server.

Poor service at bar

By Jimmy G |

We were in town for a convention and decided to stop at Margaritaville for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and they proceeded to ignore us and tend to other patrons. We had to get there attention and request them to clean of the bar. They seem to do it with disdain and not too much enthusiasm. We had a couple of drinks w/artichoke spinach dip, which was good by the way, but I still had a negative feeling as to how they act towards us in this bar. I don't think that I'll go there again, although my waife was not as put off by there indifference as I was

Dinner with friends

By trouthook69 |

A popular restaurant near the riverwalk. If you want noise or crowds this is the place. Service was poor. Not even enough silverware for guests. Don't buy a burger. Undercooked . Fish in chips were great but many issues with service. Won't be back

Awesome service. The food

By tmde |

Awesome service. The food was very good and portions were large. We ordered the bbq ribs, the beach club with fries, a Cher burger with onion rings, & the fish sandwich. The best of the four was the ribs.

Good Margaritas!

By JULIE M |

We stopped in for margaritas after shopping, nice staff, nice location on the river walk! The Skinny Rita was pretty good!

Excellent choice

By Albert W |

Nice restaurant located within the river walk food was excellent grilled chicken broccoli pasta and of course the drinks restaurant was clean so were bathrooms this location has a big blender up front when you walk in and like how there are surfboards on walls with television inserted in the middle of them where it had been cut out a definite place to dine at

Great food!

By Donna N |

Coaches convention in town. This was a quick walk from the hotel. Wait time at 11:45 a.m. was 20 min. Place was packed. I ordered coconut shrimp. 6 huge pieces. Delicious coleslaw. A little pricy, but I don’t eat out often. Service was good, staff friendly. Highly recommend. Others had cheesy grits and shrimp, jambalaya and burger in paradise. No complaints from anyone!

Stale Chips

By Leri L |

I visited with a friend for relaxation. I ordered the nachos... huge mistake. Typically your waitress or Waiter will give you an idea about the meal but that didn't happen. The plate was full of stale Chips and hard cheese as though it was microwaved. Nasty. I wasn't pleased.

After a long day walking

By InspiredSailor |

Staff were friendly: from the moment of arrival to the service to questions and food everything was friendly and reasonably prompt. We felt tired and we wanted a drink and so the water and Margarita was uplifting. Simply put, I had Fish & Chips and SAM had a burger and fries. The food arrived in an acceptable time period but the drinks were a bit tardy; however, the water was fast. The server was attentive and cheerful. I found the food delightful and SAM a bit less so on the fried fish. Checkout was slightly tardy but no real complaints. The bill was $60+ with tip but considering we were on the "River Walk". The icing on the cake was that I later asked if our parking was included so I was told that they could validate our parking up to $20 (with $40+ purchase). It was free so I just put the ticket in the machine and bingo we were out of there to the right and them Market Street.

Great dining on The Riverwalk

By Robert A |

Excellent food and awesome service. Our server was tremendous. She was very attentive and spent time just talking with us. A little pricey, but a great overall experience. On The Riverwalk and near The Alamo. I highly recommend to all travelers.

Everything was great!

By Mis4 |

Everything was great! Our son loved the burger, and I had a quesadilla. Also, it’s wheelchair friendly.

Good, Fun Place to Eat

By bullman63 |

We went here after a volleyball tournament. Sat inside. Menu has some interesting things that are above the norm. Service was good. Food was tasty. I don’t recall any problems with any of the orders which was a plus with a large party. Recommend trying this place out.

Margaritaville

By Allen E |

Usually have good luck at Margaritaville but a little off at this location. Very busy due to bowl game. Burgers made wrong had to send back. They must have let the fries sit while they fixed the burgers because they were cold. Bartender was friendly. Margarita good as always.

Average.

By Ramil |

Average size portions of average quality food that is not cheap. Ok location and service, probably wont be back.

Not as nice as one in hawaii

By vbchick9 |

This location is not nearly as nice as the pne in Hawaii. Food was all good but portions were very small and prices were ridiculous for what you got, basically paying a premium to say you were there. We ate outside at the 5 O"Clock Somewhere bar/patio area. No wait for seats and quick service, but it was near impossible to get anywhere near it without getting aggressively pursued by the salespeople from The Westin trying to sell you tickets to everything. They set up shop right next to this restaurant so you have to listen to them bothering everyone. Also, if you don't like interacting with wildlife, sit inside. The pigeons are all over the tables

Good Drinks

By Angela |

Wonderful fast service we sat at the bar and just had fun the bartenders I forgot their names but they figured out what I was asking for and made it. Great time.

overpriced

By Bruno M |

the food was average , overpriced , dessert ok , free refill for coke an other place i will never comeback !!!

Great atmosphere!

By Visilea |

Come here for the atmosphere! This place has seating outside as well as inside. Located along the River Walk, it's packed most of the time. However, it did not take us long to be seated....even on a Friday night! Drinks are tasty (love margaritas!) and the loaded nachos are HUGE! The cheeseburger and fries I got after drinking a margarita and eating loaded nachos were a little too much. I had to take half back to the hotel. They had live music which made this a great experience. Wait staff checked in on us often. I would definitely recommend this place (and then try out the shop upstairs!)

Fantastic fun, friendly, delicious.

By Ernesto V |

It fantastic food and drinks. Nice burger with onion rings. Super friendly with great food. There is a full fledged parrothead shop upstairs.

Great place to get a drink and people watch

By James D |

If you are looking for somewhere on The Riverwalk to get a drink and people watch this is it. The drinks are great and and food is pretty good too. The Margarita's as great. Don't pass up this place while you're on the river walk.

Margaritaville, San Antonio: Carl, Carl, Carl!!!!

By Sherri S |

Visited Austin for my kids’ 1st cousin’s baby shower. We had an open (rainy) day, wasn’t getting *that* close to The Alamo w/out a visit. Side trip to Luckenbach, totally worth visit. Arrived in San Antonio a bit mom tired (12-year-old’s headset died at start of road trip). By 1:30, we were hungry and ready for a break. I am a 49-year-old Parrothead and will attend my 52nd show at Shoreline in Sept. By the time we arrived at Riverwalk, I would have been happy with 7-11. But Carl. Carl immediately recognized I was a stressed parent and promised to take care of our table. And he did. When I started to get frustrated with my 6-year-old for taking a bite of his pretzel from the pretzel stand, Carl immediately turned around, grinned, and said “that’s how my kid does it too.” In that moment, that’s all that mattered. Food-wise? It’s a chain, but consistent among the various locations i’ve visited over the years. But the one thing that the chefs knock out of the park?!? Key Lime Pie. Outside of Key West, this is the best Key Lime Pie I’ve ever had. And a HUGE HEARTFELT THANKS to Carl for the Chill service.

Fun and fun food

By Cyndi G |

Volcano nachos are just what they sound like, built upward like a volcano. The only thing I would change is to add more beans. We also had the spinach artichoke dip. Super good.

Where's my beer

By April C |

Ordered a burger in paradise which according to the menu comes with heinz 57 sauce and a draft beer if your old enough? Food came asked for my beer and was refused said it wasn't part of the meal?

Lovely riverside restaurant

By meongo123 |

We ate here on a ŕecent visit trip to san antonio, texas. This is a riverside restaurant at the shops on the river at the mall by the river. Quaint place to eat beside the river You will like this place.

Chicken fajitas!

By Bertha55 |

I enjoyed the chicken fajitas here. Chicken was seasoned well and very tasty. Not authentic Mexican but still very good.

It's 5 O'clock somewhere

By mareenichole |

If you are a lover of everything margarita and love a surf style environment this is the place to be. With a huge selection of margaritas it's a must to have a drink with dinner.

What I expected from this restaurant

By tennisbuff1000 |

We wanted just a good "old" burger and this was right next to the Marriott on the Riverwalk. My co worker and I both ordered a burger and onion rings. Service prompt and friendly. Burger was excellent and the rings had just the right amount of crispness. We didn't have a Margarita (yea I know it's a sin). Fun time.

It was close to the convention center so I went in for a quick lunch to get back to the Conference. I would say it was interesting but nothing special, I had the Teriyaki Bowl, it was a bit over the top on the teriyaki sauce in my bowl, it was more look a Teriyaki Bowl of "Teriyaki Soup"! I had a refill of soft drink, once an that was wrong, it was Root Beer and I am not a Root Beer fan! So I would say it is worth the one time visit but I would not go back to this one!

Not bad, but not what I expected

By Otter2269 |

Based on the name, I figured this would be Mexican food, but it is more like an american diner. Burgers are probably the main item here. I had an appetizer sampler which was ok, but nothing to rave about. The service was friendly as I ate at the bar. Had a cold beer which was good. Place was fairly empty, but I'm sure it gets more full during the evening hours.

Just keep walking

By Mchumphries72 |

It seems to have a fun vibe from outside and it could be. The margaritas were way too sweet and poor quality. There are much better choices around the area.

Enjoyable experience

By stone50 |

My wife and I ate here while on a weekend visit and really enjoyed the food and the service and we went there two days in a row. The fajitas were very good as was the chicken salad and the Cuban sandwich. I would definitely eat there again,

Stopped here after going on

Stopped here after going on a riverboat ride to have lunch. Waitress was quick and the food was served quickly also. Food was very good good.Bee

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing!

By Amanda Stull |

The only reason I gave a 1 on this is because I had to. We came in on a Thursday around 3pm, not a busy time at all. The hostess was rude to my Husband about his mask falling down, telling him he had to wear a mask at all times. Yeah, we understand that. He bent over to grab something from our kids stroller and it came off his nose and slid down. The server was okay. She was nice, when we saw her. We both ordered drinks from the bar and weren’t impressed with either. Normally people probably don’t complain about there being too much liquor in a drink, but both of ours were so over poured you couldn’t taste the watermelon flavor his was supposed to be. Mine was supposed to taste like bananas, but literally burned my throat. We ordered the appetizer trio and it did come out quickly, but the chicken fingers were overcooked/fried and too hard to eat. The only thing we did enjoy was the spinach artichoke dip. The women’s bathroom was disgusting! There was an employee in there texting on their phone the entire time you could hear the phone going off. She didn’t wash her hands when she left the restroom. I’ve been to another Margaritaville while on a cruise and had a much better experience, but this one on the river walk in San Antonio was just really disappointing and disgusting. We will not recommend it to friends and definitely won’t be back.

Dia de los Muertos in the San Antonio Riverwalk...

By Pinaywife |

We love San Antonio and we want to try the Margaritaville’s food while in town. It’s in the River Center, a very popular place. The atmosphere is lively, family friendly. The service is prompt, staff is friendly and efficient. Brandon was our server, very attentive. Our drinks and food were all delicious and satisfying, perfect Margaritas, fish and chips, and catch of the day grilled salmon.

Great location

By Lisa O |

We stopped while on the river walk for drinks. The atmosphere is just fantastic, love this area. We ended up here during happy hour so the prices were good. The servers were all friendly and the service was quick.

Good early dinner

By 338Concerned |

Food was good. Very loud when we first got there though. It was only one man playing guitar with a drum machine back-up, but they had the volume way too loud, he only played for ten more minutes and then was done for the day. (We couldn't hear the waitress when she was trying to take our order.) The food was very good but for the slower eaters, got cold very fast.

Good food, great atmosphere

By Huddersfieldlass55 |

We visited Margaritaville twice on our stay in San Antonio. Both times the food was excellent. A little pricy but what you would expect on the River Walk. Our waitress was adorable and very friendly. They do have live music in the evenings, which was a lot of fun.

Want Great Maragaritas? Voila!! Margaritaville on the River Walk

By Mike C |

We have dined at various Margaritavilles in the US, most frequently at the one at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. This one on the River Walk in San Antonio is better, I think. Both are great, though. I have enjoyed maragaritas in many places over the years. No place makes them better than here, frozen or not. The food and service were very top notch as well. We will definitely revisit this location next time we are in San Antonio.

Wanted special and got average.

By C M |

First off - we are huge Jimmy Buffet fans, and we've been to many Margaritaville restaurants (our friends say we 'collect' Margaritavilles, and yes, we do have lots of souvenirs from various locales). We love the decor, the free and easy beach theme, the atmosphere. It's not so much that this restaurant isn't good, but more that it's nothing special. We really wanted special from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, but what we got was an average hamburger, a tasteless club sandwich, and pretty good margaritas. This is not a criticism of this particular restaurant, but more the reflection of a general cumulative experience at Margaritaville restaurants.

Great location

By Kathi W |

We stopped in for lunch since it was raining while we were visiting the SA River Walk. This is a great place to have a drink and watch the boats go by. The scenery is awesome. I can't say the same for the food. We ordered an appetizer platter. Everything on it was overcooked and burnt.

drinks and a meal

By Nicholas R |

Not very crowded and really more of a sports bar. Not very Mexican or Caribbean even. Strong margarita but the watermelon had little melon flavour. Meal was satisfactory

Riverwalk hot spots

Good food! Excellent drinks and service. Good place to stop for a meal and drinks and shopping at River Center Mall.

Horrible experience!

By mtorres735 |

Worst Experience in San Antonio! will NEVER go back to this restaurant. I was hoping to get some good food and drinks at the venue as it was very colorful and the large sign was attractive. The waitress was super unfriendly, our food was not good at all. My co worker didn't even eat half of her food and the waitress never asked if all was ok or if something was wrong with the meal. I mean more than half was left on plate I thought that would be a sign. Drink was good but HEY they cant really mess up a margarita!!!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

By Tammy S |

My Fiance and I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere here and the drinks! It was one of my most favorite places that we stopped into while visiting the Riverwalk. If you love a beach type of environment than you will love this place! We highly recommend! And my drink was delicious! Some sort of fruity moonshine drink! Fabulous! Will definitely go back!

Jumping place but too loud for us old people

By duffer47 |

My wife stopped for dinner and ordered drinks first. Melissa was attentive and efficient. The music was deafening however so we opted to seek another venue for our meal.

Perfect cheeseburger. Tasty drinks. Fun vibe. Server wasn't interested - but everything else was good

By travelmakesUrich |

HAD to have the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" - and it was all that and more! Beautifully done medium rare, as I'd asked (you almost never get asked, and when you do, you don't always get what you asked for) and one of the ... maybe the best chain burger I've ever had. Ordered salad as my side, as I'm not a fries fan, and asked if it was mixed greens (don't care for) or iceberg (my choice) and the server said it was mixed greens. It wasn't - it was iceberg. Hubby got to eat it, though, because I'd ordered his favorite dressing, expecting the mixed. Hubby had a beer and I had a rum drink, and we enjoyed the videos (mostly Jimmy Buffet videos, but other artists, too) showing on the many screens. We'd definitely go back!

Good and Bad

By allisongoke |

We ate here on a Sunday evening and it was storming so there were not many people in there. My husband and I both had sandwiches and the portions were large. They were good but you can’t really mess up a club sandwich. The prices seemed high to me. Our waitress was not very attentive and very slow. I had to find a manager to get the waitress to bring our check so we could pay and leave because we had waiting for awhile and our toddler was getting restless. The decor is beachy and has a backyard party vibe. My 2 year old loved the girl on stilts that makes balloon animals for the customers. That girl was very nice and did a great job with the balloons. Also, the guy was singing and playing guitar was pretty good. He sang classic songs and the music was not blaring. Overall, I enjoyed eating there. I hope next time we get a better waitress.

Enjoyed

By CabinFeverNY |

Went to Margaritaville a couple of times for lunch while attending a conference. Great food, service, drinks, and atmosphere. There's a nice shop upstairs for buying Margaritaville souvenirs and clothing.

Had a great time with friends

By Beach Bum |

I had a great time with my friends there. I can check this off my bucket list, I went. Food was pricey for me, but not for the river walk area, which is generally an expensive area. It was about what I expected for a bar-and-grill, but, was super-super fun!

Horrible experience

By Andrea G |

Went the day after Christmas. It was later in the evening and when we got there we were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. There were a ton of empty tables so I was surprised. I guess they were short staffed. However, I would rather be seated in one of those tables for 30-40 minutes than to have to wait outside. Told we could eat at the bar now instead. So we went and sat in the bar. Waitress came quick and then it went downhill. Brought our drinks, took our order and had to repeat it to us three times. Why not write it down? No refills, no napkins, no silverware, no service. People next to us waited 20 minutes just to pay. We had to do the same. Don’t know what was going on but it was a miserable experience. Won’t be back.

First time and probably the last

By Missplummer83 |

I was in San Antonio visiting a friend and we stopped by Margaritaville for an appetizer and drinks. My drink was very good however the food was not good. I ordered nachos and they were ice cold when the waiter brought them out. It was so disappointing. They were also really salty. My friend ordered the shrimp that is on the appetizer menu and they were also very salty. I can finally say that I went to Margaritaville but I won’t be back unless it’s just for drinks. I will never order food from there.

As expected

By Thelmaharper |

Stopped in for lunch. Served immediately. Wait staff efficient and friendly. Crab cakes tasty but a bit too much filler for me. Good for lunch though.

Not up to par

By 596timothyk |

We have been to various Margaritaville restaurants around the world. This one on The River Walk was just average, or maybe they had a bad day serving good food. It wasn’t the best we’ve had, just ok.

Great margaritas

By Hasweden |

Had dinner with friends and the food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The margaritas though where yummy! I had a blueberry-pomegranate margarita and it was delicious! There was live music but the volumes was a bit too loud for a regular restaurant. Thete waz a band that plade and they where very good though.

A good location

By Kevin M |

Went for some late night munchies, as it was close to the hotel. Food was mediocre at best but very slow. Went later in the week for a beverage and appys, and the experience was better.

Terrible service at bar

By Ty |

Seated at the bar and waited for over 15 min and never even got a drink. Just got up and left and had a drink at Yardhouse within 10 seconds.

Good food, good drinks, great people watching.

By NurseMD |

Great location. Great people watching as we sat outside enjoying the day. Understand this is a chain, but a good site to visit. The sweet potatoes fries were good and my taco sale was very good. Drinks were good, not outstanding - but well worth the local flavor.

Midling

By William P |

Just average fare that is the same that you will get in any city. Overpriced tourism food, not surprisingly as it's on the Riverwalk

Great Margs but stay away from the chicken fingers

By 647dave |

I love the Jimmy Buffet music playing... great happy hour Margs :), but the chicken strips tasted like they were covered in donut batter :(

River walk and margaritaville a fun combo

By Big red mom |

Located on the ground floor of the River Center , this restaurant is a chain which is dependable . The drinks are delicious and creative . I love the new Landshark Mule !!! The food is good . Service was nice and efficient . We sat outside along the river watching people and baseball .

Right on the Riverwalk

By Moved2Texas |

Margaritaville has inside seating and also some seating right on the Riverwalk. It is a relaxing spot where you can watch people and the riverboats coming and going. The food and drink have tourist prices where you are paying for the atmosphere and location as much as the food. It's expensive for what you get. We each had a Margarita and since we were not really that hungry we shared some appetizers - the chicken Quesadillas and the spinach avocado dip were both very good. Those two appetizers were enough for the three of us to enjoy a light lunch. Our server was very good and attentive. It was my birthday so we splurged a little and enjoyed our day.

Vacation lunch

By Larry R |

Wife had the fish tocos that was good except the fish had a fishy taste. Good size pieces. I had the chicken Fajita it was good but lacked vegetables and you had to cut you 3 strips of chicken. A little over price.

Pleasant late dinner

By SkykomishBob |

It was tennish when we escaped the cold and took a table near the bar. Rabbit, the barman, was right there with menus and recommendations. He was busy all the time we were there but he checked with us often and was really good. The classic margarita was perhaps the best I've had that I didn't make myself: tart, limey, and one could taste the ingredients, unlike so many places in my experience that use some green-yellow plastic goup instead of tequila, cointreau, triple sec, & lime. My wife had a blackberry marg or something and she enjoyed it, she said. Rabbit's recommendation of the crab cake sandwich wasn't our favorite, but then we come from Puget Sound where crab comes out of the bay, not a can. Very nice place though, with a good vibe, and a very good bartender.

Staff great, but that's about it

By travelchick20807 |

A restaurant adjacent to a mall is your first clue that this Margaritaville is not the best out there! Drinks were over juiced, food was par at best (how can you mess up a club sandwich - they nailed it!). Server was terrific as was the musician they had playing the night we were there. Very likely I will not return to this location.

Disappointing

By marfak |

Very disappointing. It was incredibly loud with thumpa-thumpa music, the food was so-so, and the margaritas were all ice. They are living on their reputation. Avoid at all costs.

Learn to Listen

By Nikki L |

I was staying a at hotel on the river walk and I had heard much about this restaurant. I wanted to just go get a drink or two at the bar and get food to go. I walked in and asked the hostess if I could go to the bar as I wanted to have a drink or two then order food to go. The hostess looked at me and said you can't take drinks out. I told her that is not what I said and I know that. I just want to have drinks at the bar and take the food to go I told her. She said again I could not take drinks out. I shook my head and went to the bar. At least the drinks at the bar was good and so was the bartender with the unique name. The food took longer than expected to come out which the bartender apologized for. I may come back but will bypass the hostess who can't listen.

Gave it a try

By Kyle V |

I normally try to stay way from tourist trap places like Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood, but was talked into going here. I'm glad I did. The menu was appealing and the Key Lime Pie was excellent.

Not up to Margariaville Standard

By VENSIM |

Restaurant is in the River Center area right on the River Walk. Our drink order was mixed up and beer was warm when served. Food was fair; not what we usually get at Margaritavilles at other locations. They did not seem to be very busy and service was a bit slow.

Pretty good

By pidaua |

The food was good, the service was okay. The restaurant is very busy, so a wait is to be expected. When we arrived there were lots of empty tables, but the hostess (an eye roller) told us we could only sit in the bar. The bartender had to work all of the tables in the bar area (about 20 of them) and only had 1 other bartender working with him. Needless to say, they were swamped and we only saw him when he took our orders, delivered our ice tea / coke, and to collect payment. Sadly, because he was so busy, we couldn't get refills or ask for condiments. Our food was good, but room temperature (the gravy had coagulated and the fries were limp). However, the fried chicken that my husband ordered was good, and I loved the beer battered fish.

Slow Service

By Heather9876 |

The hostesses asked if we wanted to sit in the bar and seemed to want us to sit there. We found a table that was clean but unfortunately our waiter was the bartender. There were 2 other waitresses but one said that the bartender would get to us. I felt bad for him. He didn't have time to wait the 3-5 tables assigned to him. The Southwest Chicken Salad was good.

Lunch with Family

By Dana C |

Went to Margaritaville in DT San Antonio with my niece who was visiting from the Netherlands. Food was awesome and plentiful! Get the chicken quesadillas!! Out of this world! Service was quick! They didn’t carry mint leaves for a mojito though.☹️A little pricey, but a great overall experience! We did not leave hungry!!

Bad experience

By Karen W |

Thought this would be the perfect place to get a good margarita, but they were the worst. Very sour and I ordered strawberry and there was very little strawberry in mine. Just wasn't good at all. We ordered chicken strips - which were also disappointing. More like the chicken fingers from Burger King. We have ate at Margaritaville's in other locations that were much better.

Very disappointing!

By John K |

On my recent trip to San Antonio we decided to go to Margaritaville for dinner one night. I have visited other Margaritaville locations ( Key West, Orlando, Las Vegas) and figured this would be a good spot for dinner. The restaurant decor was not up to my expectations. The music and video were not Jimmy Buffet, this is what I was looking forward to. We started with Margaritas. I thought these were watered down and lacked any flavor! Very disappointing, I had the Signature fish sandwich ( fried), this was very dry and it was served warm at best. My wife had the Cheeseburger in Paradise, Nothing special just a plain regular cheeseburger she could have ordered in any restaurant. Our server was very nice but this does not make up for bad drinks and average food.

Loud with marginal live music and not great food

By finesilver |

Had a meal there while the Friday night band was playing. It was so loud and the band was not good, it was not a fun experience at all. The best seat in the place was as far from the band as possible. My burger was expensive and not cooked how I asked, service was slow too and not friendly or attentive. I would not recommend.

Average at Best

By Casie N |

Service was on the slow end and food was decent but nothing special. We sat outside but went inside to use the restrooms. The dining area near the restrooms had a sewage smell.

Fun Time

By Pavehawk |

My wife and I were showing the Riverwalk to some friends visiting from out of state and decided to get something to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating available, considering it was a Saturday night. Menu had a good variety to choose from, nothing really expensive. There were six in our group but we got our food quickly. Everything tasted good. There was even a band that started playing shortly before we left. We all had a great time and will be back!

Not for me

By SunshineSoozy |

Oh dear. My husband loves to eat at Margaritaville, so wherever we find one, we inevitably eat there, for the most part I have found them just OK as I don’t like burgers but my husband does like the burgers here. I ordered fish and chips, I am not sure what planet the chef came from who devised this particular dish but it was just wrong. There were, what could best be described as, three lumps of battered fish on top of some chips. The batter was very think and overcooked and the fish was pretty dreadful.

Good food, good drinks

By Kelly85 |

We stopped in here after browsing the RiverCenter Mall. Service was quick and friendly, the margaritas didn't disappoint! The egg rolls were an interesting mix of flavors and cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders had an excellent batter - but those margaritas! They were the star of the show.

Recently had dinner at Margaritaville

By Marc M |

Recently had dinner at Margaritaville in Down Town San Antonio. Service was ok, they were not very busy at Lunch? Food was good and portions were very large. I thought food was a little pricey. Kids meal were $8.99 . If you have been to 1 it’s probably about the same. Consistent

Great Spot

By Garry M |

We went here with friends for lunch while touring the river walk and really enjoyed it. Good food, good service..

Won’t do it again…

By Brent A |

First time will be the last. The cough is really no excuse, if that’s gonna be it. Noone in San Antonio seems worried, so business need to get over it. Every table waited way too long. People shared ketchup rather than wait for a server. All the food was brown or shades of brown on a white plate. I thought it was odd then and even now weeks later did a search to see if that was normal. It isn’t judging from the pictures here. I made the very same dish at home and asked my 12 year old which looks more appetizing, the one at the Margaritaville or mine. Wasn’t even close. Too bad foutche ruined this country. BTW - the pic is my dish, turns out they should have put coleslaw on the dish which would have added color. I added a lime wedge not thinking about the slaw!

5 stars, fantastic!

By Carrie J |

Fantastic all around! I ordered the Valcano Nachos, our waiter informed me it was a big plate so that's all I got to eat for dinner. He was right! They were piled about 4 inches high and covered the whole plate! I couldn't even half of them before I was full and had to take them to go. They were amazing! The drinks were also real good. I'd have to say the best part of our visit to Margaritaville was our waiter. He was very friendly, helpful, outgoing, he was fantastic at his job! It wasn't terribly busy when we were there (late night, soon before they were to close) so he came and had conversations with my Mom and I. He gave us suggestions on stuff to do and places to go, he just had regular conversations with us while still paying attention to everything else. Great workers there! He was fantastic, our food and drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere is awesome, it was a good time!

Nice View

By Paul H |

I would never suggest that there is price fixing. Just coincidence I’m sure, but the over priced beer theme is prevalent again.

Big burgers

By Christopher C |

We've never been to one so we thought we'd try it. We got burgers that were very good size for the price. I'd go back if I ever run into another one.

Typical Chain Type restaurant

By Jenifer A |

Had dinner so we can say we ate at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Cocktail was very good, the nachos were huge and mostly chips. Would rather find local places to eat versus big chains

Great happy hour

By Anne D |

Stopped in here for dinner but started with happy hour drinks and lava shrimp. Then we ordered salads which were delicious. Service was also very good then we headed back along the riverwalk to our hotel.

Fun place, a little pricey

By jellogirl |

We were walking around the mall and decided to stop in for lunch. I had the fish tacos and my husband had a Cuban sandwich. Our little one had mac & cheese (nothing too special just Kraft variety). I really enjoyed my tacos. They had a great flavor and a nice salsa on top. The atmosphere is quite fun. It was a little expensive for my taste, but then again that is what a vacation is sometimes. Not sure that I would come back but it was a fun time. Good service and very attentive.

Fun time.

By Billie R |

We had a great time here. Had a drink and some appetizers after a boat ride on the River Walk. The server was fast, attentive and friendly. The food came hot and our drinks were tasty.

Didn't live up to the hype

By Velvet H |

The drinks were good, however the food not so much. There was live entertainment which I enjoyed. Should've just had drinks and gone elsewhere for dinner.

Great Food and Service but....

By Marissa |

Food choices, preparation, presentation and taste are all very good but whoaa!! Overpriced! Service is awesome though.

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere

By peteivonne |

Thanks to the animal loving hostess we where able to sit outside with our dog. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. You can watch the boats on the river walk while you eat and drink

Update Events

By Gen381381 |

Our family was looking forward to a fun and relaxing dinner but the place was closed due to a private event. I had checked their events page several days before and also that same day and there was no indication they would be closed! Disappointed!

Complete disappointment

By Poohski |

Stopped in here with another family as a spur the moment dinner and was very disappointed. Service was horrible. Very slow and inattentive. Messed up two orders. Which to me isn't a big deal as long as I'm ok with what was brought. Waitresses seemed like she absolutely wanted to be somewhere else was just all around not happy for such a "big name" to have such horrible service. This isn't taking into account that our group couldn't all sit together at the same table because of "covid restrictions" which I'm not reflecting in this review due to understanding precautions being taken. But if a group arrives together there should be no issues seating together

Birthday Dinner

By TenDiva |

Of course, Margaritaville is a great place to celebrate a birthday- and that's why I did! The food is pretty average, and I think it's better-known as a good spot for drinks. We dined outside in the heat just to people-watch (and swat the pigeons as we ate). The inside was quite dark and empty... but it was a random Tuesday evening. It was a good visit. The food is expensive for what you get, but it's a tourist draw. There is a gift shop, but we did not visit. We did get good service from our waitress.

Good place

By Brian D |

Good food nice atmosphere. Menu has a lot to offer. Busy and there was a wait. But not to bad. Would eat there again. Has a gift shop.

Just ok. Poor service.

By Jokekat |

Food was ok. Pretty expensive for the quality. The service was poor. Waitress ignored us and acted put out when we had to call her over to the table.

Good experience

By top banana |

Have eaten at several of their locations across the US so it was a good choice. Sat outdoors and watched the boats on the Riverwalk go by. Good selection and not overly pricey.

Go Somewhere Else

By Amanda R |

Tried this spot with my family. We were sat immediately, it wasn’t too busy. Ordered fairly quickly but then wait over 40 minutes to get our food. Not ideal with a two year old. Food was decent, but expensive.

Didn't see this one coming

By Bingo |

So wanted to check out the Jimmy Buffet place and when we arrived, they were busy so we added our name and went to the bar. Ordered a drink and looked down and roaches were everywhere. We got up and left. If there are roaches visibly at the bar, I'm sure they're crawling around in the kitchen. Come on guys!

Friendly Service & Delicious Margaritas

By Yagaira L |

My husband and I stopped by Margaritaville to check it out, but unfortunately nothing on the menu really caught our attention. Most items felt overpriced for food you can find elsewhere. That said, our waitress was incredibly kind, and I honestly wish we had stayed longer just because of her. We ended up ordering one appetizer and two margaritas, and both were very good. Overall, the drinks and service were great, but the menu didn’t quite pull us in.

Parrotheads Unite...

By LR J |

Let's start by stating that yes I am a parrothead!! Wherever the wife and I travel, if there's a Margaritaville, that's where you'll find me! This particular trip, I enjoyed several evenings in one of my happy places! Really good staff, and good bartenders, not to mention great local live music every evening. Margaritaville is one of very few "commercial" bars I'll patronize over a local "dive", and this one did not disappoint.

Rip Off

By Thomas T |

Wow, I have to say this meal was expensive and had the smallest portions I have ever been served. The 20 dollar chicken fajitas had 4 tiny pieces of chicken, a melon ball of guacamole, cheese, and, sour cream. That’s it, seriously. This is Texas and there are hundreds of great Tex-Mex places with great food and reasonable prices. My suggestion for the next great hit would be “ He went to Taco Bell”.
