One of the Best Delis in Phila - hands down!

By Ken W |

Got a tray of sandwiches for a family party. Picked them up on a Sunday afternoon You would have thought they were giving it away. Italian, Turkey, and Roast Beef hoagies. With sides. Sandwiches have twice the meat than what is served at other places. Fed the whole family with leftovers. Service is great. Want to hear someone say they got a bad sandwich here; not going to happen. Everyone talks about Genos and Pats, you want a great sandwich that will fill you up - go to NE Phila and go to Marinuccis

BEST hoagies in Phila.

By Charles H |

If you want to eat the best hoagie in the City, this is the place, there are none better. Get there early, or rolls will be sold out. This is not a restaurant, but a deli that is known for their hoagies. Order a small to start ,you won't finish a large unless 2 people are gonna eat it.

One of the Best Hoagies in Philly!

This is a small place in NE Philly that has one of the best hoagies that you will find anywhere. They are packed fulled of meat & cheese. It only has takeout, but it is worth the trip. One drawback, when getting the sandwiches to go, don't let them sit too long or the roll will get soggy. Other than that, great hoagies!

Great sandwiches!

Very fresh hoagies; usually enough for two; quality meats and rolls used. Try the Italian with Sharp Provolone.

I love Marinucci’s deli!!! As soon as you get to the door the aroma hits you and you’re drawn in. The sandwiches are so huge you can’t finish it in one sitting, the staff are friendly & the place is clean.

Fair Price deli

I fell in love with this place about 5 yrs ago before I moved to Philly and only gotten one sandwich because it would feel like I was cheating if I tried something else. haha. The sandwich is the Brous Ave named after the avenue its on but its roast pork, sharp provolone, mayo and oil dressing with lettuce, red peppers and sharp provolone. And trust me the give you your moneys worth this isn't your skimpy Subways. A must try if your in northeast Philly.

Best Deli in Philly - I would give them 10 stars

My sister’s mother in law passed away. Of course I would like to be there with her and the family but cannot due to a recent surgery. I wanted to send some trays of sandwiches and based in the reviews for Marinucci’s I reached out to them. I asked if they delivered and they let me know that they don’t but I could order through door dash. I told them the situation and that probably wouldn’t work. Within minutes I received a text that they would be happy to deliver the food and sent me a menu to choose what I wanted and asked when I needed it delivered. They also asked me for the family name so they could include a condolence card. The food arrived just when they said it would and everyone is saying how delicious the sandwiches are. My sister has never been to Marinucci’s but will be going there and letting all her friends know what a caring group of people work there. I am not sure if it is family owned but it sure feels that way. Thank you Marinucci’s!

Great hoagies and sandwiches

Fresh bread, lunch meats and sides. The hoagies are big enough to split. The baked ham sandwich is one of my favs. They give you so much meat that I have to take some out. Recommend it

Mayfair Mainstay

When we are in the area, we make sure we go back to one of our favorite places in the old neighborhood. Consistent, really high-quality hoagies and lunch meat. They make real Philly hoagies! We stopped by today and they are still great. For my gluten-free version, I asked for the roll on the side and the contents in the a container.

Nucci Hoagie is to die for.

So I finally ordered hoagies from Marinucci's Deli. Why did I wait so long? It was one of the best hoagies I have ever had. I couldn't believe the amount of meat they put on it. I was only able to eat half and that doesn't happen to often.

Great sandwiches!

NE hoagie you must try

By Jrsygrl75 |

This is a NE institution for those in the know. Street parking at an often busy intersection is worth navigating to grab food here. The hours are closing too early if you ask me but when in Rome you know the rest. A true deli all around. This is a tiny store so be prepared for crowds at times. There is a full line of deli meats, sides, frozen steak meat, chips, soda and other assorted items. I love stopping in before a baseball game and picking up sammies for the family to take with us. The selection is awesome and pricing is so super fair for monster size sammies. The tuna on Fridays in Lent is delicious but so much we had three people share a large hoagie. There are so many choices it gets overwhelming but there is no bad choice here. Credit cards are accepted so that's a win. I know we love Primo's but try a hoagie tray from here for the next shower or game day. You won't be disappointed.

A real deli

Great sandwiches. They provide party trays. The best rolls. Prices are about average for a good deli.

Hope You're Hungry

By Matt_C_NJ |

Hey, are you hungry? I mean like, "end of the world, what I really need now is a hoagie the size of a scud missile" hungry? Come to Marinuccis! Jesus tap dancing Christ, I've never seen a hoagie so big. I got the HALF.....the HALF, and I FORCED half of THAT down my gullet, then gave the other half away. This is not hyperbole; my italian HALF hoagie was the size of a newborn. It had the girth of a football. It was positively ridiculous in a very good way. I had passed this place literally a HUNDRED times before hearing that it was voted one of the best hoagie spots in philadelphia, so I decided to check it out one day for lunch. The hoagie was great; everything tasted fresh, the bread was soft, etc, etc, and it was enough to feed 4 of me. I will definitely be back when I can find 3 other people that want to split a half with me. Knocks on Marinuccis are; 1) its SMALL. And even within its very small confines, there is a rack of snacks in the middle, effectively cutting the available floor space in half. Since it takes a few minutes to make your sandwich, it can get crowded FAST in there. and 2) I think they are a credit card minimum place, so you need cash. Small knocks aside, its a highly recommended hoagie stop. Just either come HANGRY or bring your friends.

THERE IS NOT A BETTER HOAGIE IN THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA

By tlcprn0948@msn.com |

I am born and raised in PHILADELPHIA. I am over 70 YEARS OLD NOW. Worked on the streets from SOUTH PHILLY TO THE FAR NORTHEAST. MARINUCCIES IS THE BEST IN TOWN. You have to try their shrimp haoagie with any type of cheese. A great selection for any ones taste.. Best to call ahead with you order. It is a DELI not a sit in restaurant. Take out only....

ask for an itemized receipt and pay cash!

By NurseMomAnimalLover |

This deli is located on Fairdale Road, off Knights Road, near Woodhaven Road, Northeast Philadelphia, PA. It has other locations but this is the spot close to my family home. The hoagies are great, first. Having said that, there are many outstanding hoagie and cheesesteak venues to choose from, such as Steve's Prince of Steaks, which also has many convenient locations. Marinucci's nickels and dimes its customers, which I consider bad for business. I paid $0.25 for a tiny bag of chopped cherry peppers and there were inedible fragments included, which is dishonest and gross. I also didn't know I'd pay an extra $0.50 to use my national credit card which is accepted everywhere I go in the USA. There was no sign prominently displayed at the cash register for transparency. I was charged $0.25 for "extra" oregano, which I did not ask for. I didn't want salt, pepper, oil, mayo, or vinegar, thank God, for I suppose that would have jacked up the cost. The receipt I was given was not itemized, which should be standard, not by special request only, so I did not even know why my $9.25 hoagie cost me $11.26. I am still not sure what all the overcharges were. In October 2022 I paid $60 for multiple sandwiches, again no itemized receipt, so I can only imagine what "extra" charges were on that transaction. A business that hides the charges is not trustworthy. They don't want the customer to know that they are being charged for, of all things, "extra" oregano! Oregano is a bulk item spice with a very long shelf life. If I asked for five tablespoons of oregano on my hoagie, which I of course did not ask for "extra", even that should not result in an add-on charge. They were busy, plenty of customers, so perhaps they want to alienate a customer like me here and there so they don't get too overwhelmed and make too much money. But I intend to share my bad experience with my family and friends in the area. They patronize the deli and I will do my best to direct them elsewhere.
