Just ok ..but I’m over 30

By Maria B |

Overall Marion was what I would say an ok experience Our waiter was good polite and accommodating The music was a combination of noise (beats no words) and 90s classics Mixed with the odd performance or two Overpriced is an understatement I wish spots like Marion and el Tucan etc can decide whether they are a restaurant or a club Paying club prices for bottles and cocktails while eating a meal does not sit well with me at all. Maybe it’s my age but I prefer one or the other … and don’t fancy smoke machines over my food and knowing people stand on tables with shoes on that the next sitting has to eat on…

Awesome experience

By Salomon K |

Every time I come to Miami, I visit Marion. The food, the service, the music and the friendship of the waiters are incredible. I love it.

Amazing Date Night

By Elizabeth S |

We had a groupon which we were able to get $120 worth of food and drinks, and my husband and I were completely amazed on how great this restaurant is, it might be expensive but well worth it for a date night like we had. The service was spectacular, the food was to die for. I would so recommend for the appetizer the Ahi Tuna Poke, Wahoo Ceviche and for sushi the rock & roll. But our entrees we we choose the Grilled Spicy Beef Tenderloin and the Smoke Roast Miso Sea Bass were to die for they were recommended to us by the waiter and we are glad we listened to him. I do plan on coming back soon. - Thank you Marion for the great experience.

Good food nice ambiance but forced tiping

By Olivier G |

Food is decent. They charge you automatically 18% (even for parties of 2) and then try to trick you in tipping the waiter only and additional 15%. Totally absurd! Will not go back

AMAZING

By faithbalsier |

The Marion not only has amazing food, it turns into a club at around 10-10:30pm! They have an awesome DJ and amazing staff who interact with the clients! From fire sticks to dancing on tables, this place is just down right FABULOUS! Reservation is required! Loads of fun!!

Great Service & Dinner

By Felicia Ferreira |

First time visit. Wish the waiter asked us if we were first time dining? Would've of liked to know more about the place and menu/food experience. Other than that, waiter suggested Grilled octopus, which was extremely delicious! And ordered the seafood lobster, oysters, miss, clams and shrimp for two. Never ate oysters and tasted really good! We also had deserts & coffee which was also great! They had live musicians and great atmosphere decor. Mixed older crowd. And also Wish our table was bigger. Valet parking was $15. And the selection of drinks were really interesting!

Oui Oui!!!!!

By travellincfo |

Hidden gem on a fairly quiet street in the Brickell area of Miami. French themed restaurant with outstanding food and drink. I had the branzino on a recent visit and it was fantastic. And.... if you are lucky enough to drop in on a Thursday evening when they have their "Soirée", you will not be disappointed as the restaurant literally turns into a club later in the evening with great music, dancing bartenders (on a bar lit on fire), etc. Great fun and amazing crowd. Other nights of the week are quieter but the food is always fantastic and there is plenty to do within walking distance of this venue.

excellent food and ambiance

Great restaurant, even on opening night

By Christine A |

Thinking I would be able to walk in, I went downstairs to this restaurant on my birthday. The night was completely booked, but they let us sit at the raw bar in front of the kitchen. I would prefer to sit at the raw bar any day - all the fresh fish was on display in front of us and we could see the chicken spinning in the rotisserie and the oven/ascending & descending stove etc. It was very cool. Our server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and polite, I wish I remember his name because he did an amazing job. He was able to answer all of our many questions. The sommelier took some time with our bottle of wine, but it was worth the wait. The food we ordered (charcuterie, cheese, wagyu steak and eggplant wrapped ricotta) was all extremely delicious. I just wish that the main dish and side came out at the same time - I was almost done with the entree before the eggplant came out. The food is certainly overpriced, although the tags do match the elegant environment. I would certainly go back, but only for a special occasion. it's too pricey for a regular Friday night out.

The best hen do experience

By Shelley4096 |

What a place to go for a hen do!! We had the best time, the entertainment was great, sushi was good. The whole place was very lively with everyone dancing on the tables and having the best time

Birthday celebration

By FatimaDamasio |

We went there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The place has a nice ambiance and staff. It's a restaurant with many dishes from the japanese, chinese and taiwanese cuisine among other options and very good drinks. After a certain hour de Dj starts, the music volume becomes louder and people dance around the tables. All very lively and informal. Good for celebrations and bigger groups , although expensive.

Scrumptious food, lively ambiance

By TacoBelle |

We went for a bachelorette party. As we were a party of 13, we requested a fixed price menu and drinks. Worth every penny. Next time I’m in Miami, I will definitely go back. Please note that at some point in the night, the restaurant turns into a mini night club. If you want to go there to talk, this is not the best place to go. If you want to laugh, dance, eat and drink, this is definitely your place!

Fine Dining

By darrwill |

Very nice restaurant The food was very good but a little pricy I would recommend the half chicken dish Two people can share this dish This restaurant is next to the metro mover station

Great place!

By Ariana M |

I went there on my last trip and was very positively surprised! From the decoration, to the staff, to the dishes, to the drinks, everything was spot on! Music was great too! A little pricey, but worth it

An authentic French bistro in Miami

By Donna R |

Marion is a wonder French bistro just north of the Financial District in Miami. Menu was typical bistro food. The roast chicken was excellent. Lunch prize fix menu an excellent value.

Very good food

By Eva P |

Very nice restaurant in Miami downtown. The food was absolutely delicious, service excellent. The place is loud with a DJ so not great for a romantic dinner but perfect if you are with friends!

great Lunch buffet watch out for expensive drink and service

By Gptour |

really good and large Lunch buffet, mostly Italian (at least the American version of it) for 25$. nice but.. ice tea for 4$ no refill is a small glass of ice with 2 spoon of tea. tap water horrible. 18% of service and tax on it! for two you get over 70...mmm you decide!

What a change!

By Exploringeurope |

We had been in Marion three times before, and it was always nice. This time around it will be our last time here. The waiter was no good, the food was average, and the noise was way too much. So now is kind of a Cheap version of Bagatelle, cheap in every way but the prices. Not coming back!

Delicious paella!

By DeniseEhl |

It's a huge restaurant, although a little dark! It has a nice decoration. Some plates are offered to be shared. We shared a paella and it was delicious! As appetizer we ordered a tomato burratta and it looked like a salad with different types of tomatoes. It was good! The homemade bread is very good! We were not very impressed but we all think it's a good restaurant!

Impressed

By AstroBoy2012 |

This is a vivacious place in the back of Brickell, with excellent bistro food..., be aware that it is pricey, but the experience will be wonderful; private rooms, immaculate clean washrooms, live music, open kitchen and a bustling bar; this one is a winner for Miami! we will be back

Is Success Going To Marion's Head?

By Dodger29 |

Our party of five arrived exactly on time for our reservation. There were three women at the host/hostess desk, and all were chit chatting among themselves and failed to look up. We were and remained the only guests at the desk throughout the ordeal which followed. I announced my name and the time of my reservation. None would cease their giggling and raise an eye. I tried again only to receive the same treatment. And again, this time a bit louder, apparently jarring one of three out of her enjoyment of her colleagues. She seemed surprised that someone was asking her to do something. The queen bee then took over. Is your party all here? I replied yes, only to be challenged. "Your reservation says five and I see only three of you." "Two are in your ladies room, but we are all here." "Then stand over there," she motioned emphatically to an off to the side spot, "we will not seat you until you are all here." Again and then again, I stated that we were all there and ready to be seated, but she said this was against their "rules." What rules? Certainly not the rules of hospitality! That is, after all, the essence of being a restaurateur. But apparently not at "Today's Marion." A few minutes later the two women from our party who had deigned to violate the "rules" by going to the restroom before being seated came to the desk and the three of us who had been shuffled to the side were freed from the ignominious corral into which we had been herded. We were then seated. The menu had changed from our last visit, and it became quickly apparent that some portions had been reduced. We ordered salads and entrees. After 30 minutes, the entrees and vegetables appeared. Once we caught the eye of a server, we inquired about our salads, to which she responded, "they will be out soon." The Hobson's choice was to send back the entrees or cancel the salads. Awaiting an out of sync salad was not an option as there was no room for them on the table. And as for sending back the entrees, suffice it to say, we did not look forward to what clearly would have been the same entrees after spending twenty five minutes under a heat lamp. We cancelled the salads, much to the obvious displeasure of the server who again assured us that they could be "right out." The chicken had thrice shrunk from our last visit: first because it could no longer be purchased whole, but only in halves, thereby insincerely obscuring the second change, a reduction in size; and last, it had physically shrunken from overcooking. Imagine that poor bird after treatment under a heat lamp! Though others ordered fish and ribs, respectively, the vegetables for all were the same, a bowl of mixed potatoes and vegetables. Would one not expect something more individualized to the flavor of each entree, in a restaurant or even a diner? I would. As we were still washing down the dry entrees, the salads suddenly appeared and with them, a reenactment of the earlier salad scene, including the dialogue from script and sour faces perfected from many rehearsals. We sent the salads back again and vowed not to attend the summer reruns. We could not wait to leave. No hospitality, poor, lackluster food and an ugly attitude from the queen who professed to be the owner's sister. I hope the family is not looking to pass their "jewel" down through generations to follow. It will be long gone.

My second visit at El Tucan

By IlluminatiGamer 6 |

I really love this place, high energy, good looking people, a great cocktails. First moment when I came in I was feeling like in South Beach. I'm very happy we have so good nightclub in Brickell, Downtown Miami. Great music, dancers where fabulous. I will definitely coming back .I did have a great time!! Hostess Iwona was excellent!!! Thank you!

Great place for dinner or drinks while downtown.

By Juan C |

Went to dinner after work and was pleased at the atmosphere and quality of our meal. I would have liked a larger selection, but they did offer a good selection. the drinks were excellent and the prices, well typical of restaurants in downtown Miami. Will visit again.

Food ok. Rude staff

By Nathalia |

The food is ok but the service was awful. The staff was very rude and made funny of us when we didn’t understand the check. It was a ok dinner but we didn’t had a nice experience.

Amazing!

By sicilianqueen |

The restaurant is so beautiful, classy and fun! Food was really good, every dish was exquisite. My favorite cocktail was “ La Querida” and “ Let your man go “ ( hopefully spelled it right). The performances were very good as well, the singer was unbelievable. Cristina, our waitress was very attentive and who also made the difference was Thomas, the GM, who really knows what hospitality is. We cannot wait to go back.

Perfect evening

By Ian R |

High quality, well prepared food, great music, good service, excellent cocktails and beautiful surroundings. You don’t need any more than this!!

Great place for celebrations

By Natandjaan |

We'd been looking to a good sushi place for a while and had been sampling new restaurants along the way. So happy we tried this place as we ended up finding a perfect venue for celebrations. We came for Sushi but their menu is extensive and there were many other choices which would warrant a return trip. We stuck to sushi and ordered their sushi special plate. It was like a celebration on an ice platter that must have weighed 40 pounds. It looked like a museum piece with beautiful decorations and carved vegetables ... A work of art, I mean literally we had other tables taking pictures of it, this is how beautiful it was. The sushi selection was chef inspired, and while we sometimes worry about that everything and I mean everything was amazing. Rolls, Sashimi, Sushi all were perfect. Our one and only complaint was the use of truffle salt on the salmon which for us changed the taste that we were expecting and was a small negative. Perhaps a mistake by the chef or a decision based on other peoples preferences, I'd recommend to avoid using it on the typical salmon dish. I mean it works, but the truffle salt has enough flavor to warrant a mention in the description if used and somehow for us in combination with the rest of the sushi it took away rather than complemented. Let me repeat about how huge it was for two. When the platter first arrived, we were sure we'd be taking some home but nope, not only did every single piece get eaten (it was so good!) we even ordered their special desert combo. Again, the dessert combo was a beautiful plate stacked with decorated fruits and fruit carvings along with multiple selections including a baked Alaska that rivaled the best I'd ever had (it has this amazing almond flour or marzipan cake inside that was my favorite, just excellent). We were glad to find Marion and we will be back on special occasions to enjoy more of their superb menu.

All in one-food-music-dancing

By Aldo M |

Ideal place to have a nice dinner with good music and nice people. The food is good, the music may be somehow loud sometimes but it is part of the whole experience After dinner you can go to the club as it is part of the same restaurant to have some drinks and dance Excellent on Thursday and Saturday

Below average food, no more dancing, not as before !!!!

By Aldo M |

We used to go to this establishment quite often. After few months we didn't;t go we came back yesterday night. For our surprise the club next door (Tucan) that was attached to the restaurant was closed and converted into another restaurant. During yesterday's visit, the food was below standards, the sommelier was pushy, but our waitress, Julia, was fantastic !!!! It was not even close the fun and good food we used to have at Marion, a truly pity. The same way I recommended this restaurant some time ago, today I cannot do the same.

Great service

By samuel305 |

We came in Marion with a group of friend to have a good time . But thanks to Laureline we got an amazing experience. She was helpful and so professional. She really shown us how to party. I truly recommend this superbe place

Good fish and meat, poor service

By CLV77 |

The food is a bit pricey but good. The service is quite bad. It took them forever to bring our food even if there was nobody at the restaurant. Nice decoration at the bar.

Delicious Dining!

By annieb3212018 |

Visited Marion for the first time on a Wednesday and received excellent service. The menu options are on the higher end side but definitely worth it. Great cocktail/wine menu as well. Food was cooked perfectly and ambience is lovely after a long day.

Our new Go-To Restaurant- Fabulous!!!

By Dale D |

After numerous recommendations, we decided to try Marion Restaurant in the Brickell area of Miami tonight.. From the moment we entered, we were impressed with the atmosphere of a French brasserie, immaculate surfaces, and a friend hostess. We were early (in Miami, early means better parking, better seating, and less noise). The restaurant never filled up during our stay, which was perfect for us. Our waitress was cheerful, helpful, and allowed us time to consider the menu and made suggestions. For an appetizer, we decided on sharing the grilled octopus with chorizo. When it arrived we couldn't believe the delicious taste. It disappeared rapidly as we almost inhaled it down! Never have we had such a delicious octopus- grilled with some crispness to perfection. Accompanying the appetizer was a basket of warm freshly baked bread and delicious olive oil, and a side of fresh olives just shipped in from Italy. Our first choice of entrée was not available (sharing a whole roasted chicken). The manager explained to us that they were not happy with the recipe and were perfecting it before offering it again. So we went with a shared veal Milanese, covered with salad greens, tomatoes, and a delicious dressing. Again, the portion was great for sharing, and the dish was done to perfection, with a crispy crust and bone in chop. Finally, the desert cart was rolled over. Among the many choices, we went with the white soufflé, layered with raspberry sauce, and fresh raspberries. To top it of, perfect coffee. I hesitate to rave so much so I can keep this place for myself. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this wonderful find. You won't regret it. The final bill (they add a tip of 18%) was $136. sharing an appetizer, main course, one glass wine, one dessert, and two coffees. Parking- on the street with Park by Phone or Meter, and local lot for $7.00. Also $15.00 valet (not for me!).

Awful Night!!

By Jacques R |

This time was awful! What happened?? Are they sleeping in their "success"?? Well, took some friends there hoping to have a great night... Well, far from! Service was simply awful! Maybe of the worst I've had in a long time... So much so that our waiter was like doing a favor to us... When I asked for some guidance on the menu, it was like I bothered him! Bread? Nop!! Not for us... Both tables to our sides were better off then we were.... At some point in the night, a manager came to ask how we were doing... I did talk to him and explained what was going on... He excused himself being short staffed... This I would understand and would NOT mind, but reality is that it was not that case... Our waiter was simply not good. Plates, all over the table and no one would pick them up, glasses, never filled, napkins or cutlery not replaced.... Anyways management, you better look into this issue of service or you will lose your customers! And by the way, you are not cheap... So you better improve there.... Food, it was ok, the chicken tonight could have been better... Last time it was much better, tonight missing strength... Octopus, was quite nice... Burrata, dont bother... I had the breaded veal, this was ok, maybe a little to greasy... But tasty... For desert, we had the Profiteroles, this is very good.... All in all, i might come back in a while to give them another chance, but for now, they should improve big time in service!

CRAZY AMAZING!!

By Vanessa A |

THIS RESTAURANT deserves 10 stars!!! ITS IS AMAZING! The ambience is crazy, everyone is having such an amazing time. You walk in and everyone is partying, standing up on chairs, drinking and having a good time. The music is super loud and soo good! Every now and then a performer comes to do a song ( singer, saxophonist) the staff hands out sparklers and let’s not forget the food! The food is AMAZING! And so not expensive. We were there for a bachelorette and we had an amazing time! The food presentation is also so pretty and the service is quite quick! Just simply amazing will definitely go back!!

No a tourist trap, no really is not.

By George D |

It just behaves as one. Lets talk positive first, great service and a very nice looking restaurant. No dress code whatsoever, so if you dressed up you are going to feel awkward. This place is a combination of Zuma, Komodo, LIV and Story. Falls short on all. If you like the ridiculous "popping bottles" pageantry well plenty of it here, the tourists eat it up. No real atmosphere just loud music in your face a over priced food and drink. We ordered a sushi platter, 2 appetizers and 4 drinks the bill was $400.00. The sushi was mostly salmon, and not wild caught the cheap stuff. Drinks were good but way overpriced. Plenty of better options in Brickell

Great for a date night

By wjj |

Perfect place for a special date night. The food, service and ambience was excellent, as was our host, David. He was engaging and clued us into how the restaurant transforms into a nightclub after 10pm. Highly recommend the pineapple salmon and the chocolate lava cake. Both presented so well you might not want to eat them! A classy place that we’ll be returning to next time we’re in the vicinity.

More sparkle than substance.

By Stephen |

We had high hopes for this place coming for their Lobster Tuesday but left disappointed. The valet guy Alejandro makes a horrible first impression with a bad attitude for no reason, never encountered a valet with such arrogance but, hey, more power to him for thinking he’s cool for parking cars I guess. The waiter made recommendations on the menu & took our order, but that was the last we saw him until we asked for the bill. The bus boy paid better attention to us & was really nice all around. The food was the biggest let down, best part was the burrata & burnt tomatoes that had a unique flavor, but the steak with bone marrow arrived cold, lobster was pulled & served pre-chopped back in the shell with a creamy butter sauce that was cold. Upon requesting the check, the waiter reappeared and told us the service charge of 20% did not go to him or the bus boy - clearly an insulting attempt to get unwarranted additional gratuity. Pretty classless from a place that promotes itself as a place to see and be seen. The place was picking up more and shifting to a party scene by the time we left, which seems to be the main focus of this restaurant given the low quality of the food. We wouldn’t go back.

No very good

By Mario B |

Service very bad, the guy forgot two time to bring the drinks. We ordered paella but it was very small for USA standards and very very salty, prices high for what you get

Happy Hour

By WillIGoBack |

Stumbled upon Marion as we were walking around Brickell. We sat at bar saw they were having happy hour. Some really good options $5 wines and $1 oysters bartenders very good even let us know that happy hour was ending...DJ and staff all On point and they have a very attractive private dining room. Will I Go Back? Yes. We want to try it for dinner. We saw a whole roasted chicken being carved table side. Nice touch!

Good food, terrible staff. Much better options within a 5 minute walk!

By Nissenbaum_j |

Reserved via OpenTable but my friend couldn't make it, so I sat at the bar as I didn't need a table; the restaurant was 30-40% busy. The bartender completely ignored me for 10 minutes (3-4 other people at a 15+ seat bar) as he was too busy emptying the dishwasher. I took the menu and asked a waiter to seat me at a table, but the hostess was slammed so I stood for 5+ minutes in the middle of the restaurant before she could get to me. Nobody else checked, manager is absent. I ordered as I'm sitting down (salad and app with wine) and the food arrives 10+ minutes later - very well presented and prepared - still haven't seen any wine. I look over and see my glass at the service bar, but the waitress has had 2 large parties seated so she's slammed too. The manager stops by to ask how I'm doing, and as I'm 1/3 done with dinner, I tell her I ordered wine and she says "well it's coming" -- like it's my fault. I point to the bar with the glass still sitting at service, and tell her "no it's been there for over 5 minutes". I wish I was kidding, but I looked again after the manager had to go out of her way to grab my wine, and the bartenders are taking selfies. The waitress only checked back as I was finishing and had my credit card out. So the sous chef is really good, the busboy was excellent, and the hostess was the only staffer who tried to make a ridiculous situation better. Unless you're there to impress your friends with over-priced cocktails and try to talk over a thumping club beat (while being charged a mandatory, but undisclosed auto-tip fee), avoid at all costs. You deserve better than this washed-up concept.

Amazing

By Francisco P |

Went for dinner and had an amazing time. Food was delicious and staff super attentive. Try the cold meats, the chicken and mash potatoes. One of my new favorites in Miami.

Amazing Dining Experience

By Patrice S |

The food at this place is amazing to say the least, the quality of the product and execution is not normal for Miami's dining scene, I travel a lot for business and have dined in many of New York's 4 star establishments none of which stand out more than Marion, I look forward to returning to Miami with my family and enjoying this venue once again.

Above and Beyond Most

By C Audrey T |

I came here for lunch on a wine-business meeting and was greeted by a warm and friendly staff which made me feel very welcome. The food was wonderful! I particularly enjoyed the array of charcuterie meats with the pear curd. That was a cool twist! Usually restaurants have two to three different meat options, but there was about eight on the board! A carnivore's dream ;) I also told them that I have a ton of food allergies (which always throws a wrench in the system for the kitchen) but they were able to accommodate very well. Bravo and thank you for keeping it creative and not going the bland and safe route!!! The next time I find myself downtown, I will definitely come back :)

Don’t go there!!!

By orlando n |

After we call for reserve a table ( they asked for credit card info by phone just in case we can not make it: charge of $50 per person if not show)??? , we ended there on time ( thanks God), Quick resume; food ok ; really overpriced; the issue was that after expending $500 they Had the nerve to close our tap and kick us from our table because they said that we only can be seated for 2 hours, they need a table for other customers for enjoy the “ 2 hours food experience “(at 10:20pm??? ); what experience?? We said that we can and need more services and drinks not a problem for us ; but NOOOOYou have to quick your table and find somewhere else to go in the restaurant if you like to stay!!, really?, this was the single and most ashamed experience in a restaurant in our life!!! I’m being serious, how they are doing that? , Well; they just don’t care ; the place have that hip of the crowd of Brickell plus tourists so the don’t really care about you( regular people) be aware!!! : save your money and time!!! And more important; don’t be a victim of profiling stupid service!! Just my 2 cents

Incredibly

By Juliana |

The restaurant is so beautiful, the service is pretty good (especially the bartenders, so professional and always preparing wonderful drinks) and the food is just fantastic! Wanna go back soon!!!

Great restaurant

By Jordan C |

I am not usually a fan of Tapas, but the group I was with wanted to try Marion's. I must say I was quite happy we did. The choices were plentiful and the food was great. The truffle pizza being a favorite of mine (anything with truffles is usually my favorite). The oysters were fresh and everything was superb. I would definitely eat here again and encourage you to do so as well.

Go there on Thursday

By Adina Adm |

The food is good and afte dinner the place is turning into an amazing party, the music was excellent we had one of the best Thursday night ever. Definitely will book again

Good and tasty menu poor quality ingredients got sick

By Claudia D |

Me and colleagues came to have dinner. We had the paella and the Kobe tomahawk. I have to say presentation and tase was beautiful. However we both got very sick and got disenteria. Is definetely not acceptable at the price you pay to eat contaminated food.

Really authentic French bistro

By ValleyFor |

We had succulent lamb done perfectly. Very generous portions. Very fresh fish and seafood. Oyster happy hour is very popular.

Favorite in Miami!

By rodoboca |

Marion is definitely one of the hottest places in Miami to go to see and to be seen! Food is great, drinks are amazing too! But the music and the ambiance are extraordinary! Worth the price!

Terrific, innovative menue

By darrell w |

Nice spot for lunch, with the fixed price, three course lunch special. Good selection for each course. Attentive staff, who did a good job of describing menu items. One issue (a charge for each of two glasses of iced tea), was promptly corrected by manager. Location is ideal (next to People Mover stop) for dinner before heading to downtown Miami for a sporting or cultural event.

happy birthday to Natalie

the place has style, ambiance, awesome from valet parking, bar, restaurant big party all enjoyed. plenty of everything including good music. unique local establishment!

Fantastic experience

By Stefano |

My fiancée and I every time we go back to Miami we stop in this beautiful heavenly place. I highly recommend it if you are passing through here. There is to relax and have fun. And above all, you eat very well David is now my trusted man, with him I am sure I will always make a good impression

Great New Trendy Spot

By flashparaiso |

Lovely spot for a drink with friends. The ambience is very trendy and european. Order the Moscow Mule! It was delicious! Will definitely go back to try the food.

October 2024 Miami

By thekoren |

"Disappointing experience. We didn't have a reservation, so I asked the hostess to add us to the waiting list. She estimated a 30-minute wait for a table, but we ended up waiting for an hour. To make matters worse, she then offered to seat us outside, which wasn't what we were expecting. The poor communication and long wait made for a frustrating start to our dining experience. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short.

Almost Five stars, almost five diner experiences

By LBSEGM |

We live in Brickell and are always surprised to see how our neighborhood has been picking up in 4 years. We already had 4 dinners at this venue. A Monday, tuesday, a Friday and a saturday, so we got the vibes of the different days. we really enjoy the hostess, she has the smile we like in Brickell, a reflection of the south of France, the elegance of our women and compared to some other similar places in south beach, this is a relief to have a smile at the door. The arrival door experience is not that welcoming by it physical structure. The Marion Mule is a must and what a pleasure to drink it the outside bar. We feel a little bit back home. The selection of rosé and champagne can be worked on in the overall offer: by the glass and prices, this is brickell and Mondays we go to restaurants as well 😊 not wanting to spend what we spend on a weekend! I have to tell you that we pretty much tested by now quite a bit of their dishes : and here what we think:TASTY, tasty! Nice portions, consistant experience, so far so good with waiters. the raw bar tray and the half dozen shrimp can be improved, not pretty for the eye. I would add a little spice kick to the Paella, a little blunt. One server waiter starts to remember us which is nice and always appreciated by regular patron, even more in a neighborhood like brickell, of returning clients. EROS our waiter, served us twice already. He remembered we liked, the terrasse, the bowl of ice and bucket... etc.. which made us feel at home. He intervened when we walked in with no reservation to welcome us. Eros is a 5 ! 4 people: 4 drinks, 2 bottles of rose, 1 dessert, 4 espresso, 8 dish the price of a top notch trendy restaurant in south beach. Brickel is becoming the new SB. They are some room for improvement, cannot wait to give you a 5 !

2nd Visit Disappointing

By Karen R |

Our first visit to Marion brought home an unfortunate truth. During our visit, shortly after opening, our food was very good, however the service group hadn't learned to act as a team and therefore service itself was disappointing. The unfortunate truth is bringing everything together as a high level of performance remains beyond the grasp on Marion's operators. The high spot or our second visit was a waiter who was charming proved inattentive by mid-meal. The second high spot was an octopus first course which approached excellence. The main courses served to the three of us each in its own way failed. The steak frites had wonderful fries, poor quality meat, poorly prepared. The dorado main course seemed well-prepared and fresh, but it was laced with bones and the accompanying side order vegetable, supposedly broiled asparagus arrived as an eggplant and ricotta dish quite later to be replaced by the dish ordered. The tagliatelle selected from the special truffle menu was a complete disappointment so much so that were credited its full $49 cost. The sources of the disappointment were many layered clearly and clearly reflected a mass production approach in the kitchen and not the custom preparation Marion's owners would expect its customers to receive. The truffles which were the focus of the dish as being shaved were in fact pre-cut and left in the kitchen preparation area to be sprinkled upon the dish long after their precious flavor had disappeared. The tagliatelle pasta appeared acceptable, however the lump of shredded cheese that had been placed on it long before when it was put back in a cooler to await future service after being seemingly microwaved. The result was a partially melted mass of cheese gluing the pasta together and topped by tasteless and a meager portion of truffle. Overall our second visit gets ranked poor because the man purpose of going to a quality restaurant is to enjoy well-prepared quality food and unfortunately this did not happen.

No more happy hour :(

By Mark N |

Marion is a great venue with amazing service. I'm sad they got rid of their happy hour but it's still fun to go to the bar on a Friday night. I haven't ate there, just drink.

Epicurian Love Affair indeed!

By Loulouthelion |

Wow wow wow! We all for trying new establishments and Marion which recently opened does not disappoint! We found Marion Miami to be a sophisticated restaurant with an open kitchen, bakery, oyster bar. It of course will do well in the neighborhood of Brickell as there is nothing quite like it. The service was the best we had experienced in Miami - friendly, attentive but non intrusive. The service staff was also knowledgable and they were able to explain the menu to us when we had questions. Do yourself a favor and order the Piquillo peppers - we ordered 4 rounds - these were packed with flavor and were devoured quickly by our entire table. The Rotisserie chicken is unlike ANYTHING you have had before - the meat practically melts in your mouth. We thought it was pretty cool that they carve it table side. This was the tables favorite.... one thing we need to mention here is the dessert menu - our server informed us there were 28 items on the list (!!!!!!!!) - so if you are dessert aficionado I suggest you make a reservation to sample all 28 items - you won't be disappointed! Definitely worth a visit

Great Atmosphere, So So Food.

By 2lifeadventure |

Went here with another couple last Saturday night. I have to admit that the Decor, Ambiance, Courteousness of Staff and Attention to Friendly service were excellent. We had a few drinks at the bar while waiting for the other couple. Great Bartender, great service. Unfortunately when it came time to eat, the food was not quite there. I began with grilled octopus which actually was quite good, but the breaded veal chop with truffles, was hard, and dry. Additionally the time between the appetizer and the main course was inordinately long. (About 20 minutes). Its really too bad, because I liked the place, and great food would have made it very special. Don't know if this experience was the exception or the rule, it was our first time.

Parisian ambience

By AninhaMia |

Loved everything about Marion, from food to decor. It was there for lunch but can't wait to come back for dinner and try other specialties

Good food

By made1024 |

They have a pre-fixed lunch menu for $24 per person which is quite good and has good selection, however if you choose the charcuterie or the octopus appetizer it's $10 extra. The same is true of the main entree selections. If you choose the burger or swordfish there is a surcharge and because those are their best dishes you end up paying quite a bit of money for lunch and small portions. Same thing for the dessert with the surcharge for ice cream, so just be prepared. The champagne selection is ok and extremely expensive. Now that I have warned you about the negatives, let's get to the positives. The place is nicely decorated and very french looking from the dining area to the bathrooms. The tables are tiny and round and we ended up putting our drinks and bread on the table next to us so we could eat comfortably and we were two! I don't like eating cramped up but that is just my preference. The restaurant was not full, so I can't imagine dining there when it is full! Our server Luis was great and very attentive. The octopus and the line caught tuna appetizers were both delicious and I am not a seafood lover but I have to hand it to them, the tuna was magnificent. The short rib burger is just amazing, such taste and cooked to perfection, even though it was like a 3 oz burger never-the-less the taste was great. The garganelli had a hint of spice but it was not overwhelmingly spicy and was also very tasty. We chose other desserts that were offered to us as part of the pre-fix menu, the passion fruit one and the hazelnut tart, both were good. We ended our lunch with American coffee and a $221 bill! ($100 champagne bottle). Would I visit again? not so sure, but I do recommend it if you want to try a new place in town.

What a Buffet for Lunch!!!!

By FrancoJam |

Well, Marion is not your typical restaurant where you sit, get a menu and wait to see what's going to end up on your plate. The food is displayed on an amazing buffet and you just want to eat it all. It is like Brunch daily. Great variety of food, excellent quality, i was very impressed. But wait, best part is the bill. For the amount of superb food, you are paying a low fee which would be any entree in another restaurant. This is a MUST GO.

TERRIBLE!!

By yaburcor |

Rating this place "Terrible" is too high. The service was awful all around. Do not bother making any reservations, I do not think they even write them down. There is a clear lack of communication and order in the restaurant which creates a very distasteful and chaotic atmosphere. Just do not go here, you're better off with a mcdonalds cheseburger . I very rarely give a "Terrible Rating", but this one is well deserved. This was truly the worst of the worst restaurants in Miami

It's blah

By Ariel P |

Went there with high expectations, left with a high bill and really high disappointment. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. The waiter wouldn't go away: it's nice to have some recommendations, but you need to know when to stop and let the customer order what they like.

Bastille Day

By ALD N |

My friend and I visited were very happy with everything we experienced. For appetizer we had the oysters and goat cheese salad, outstanding by the way, and our entree were a filet and a lobster pasta!! The desert, Ahhh the desert, white chocolate mousse so delicious, 1 wasn't enough !! A must have! The ambiance and service are also a big plus ! We would like to thank the entire staff for making our dinner divine !!

Diner

By Melanie |

I was there at the diner last week and can't wait to come back again. Actually going back today. Amazing design and interior decor, also there is outside garden with dining you can enjoy. Food is delicious and music is amazing. Service and professionalism of employees is outstanding- everyone is extremely friendly. I am in love with this place and can't wait to come back there again.

Mediterranean Masterclass

By yotbot |

The inexorable rise of Brickell as a foodie destination continues with the arrival of Marion, a French/Mediterranean restaurant with impeccable service. The restaurant is a light and pleasant venue with deceptively comfortable rattan furniture and a long open kitchen with a tempting array of seafood and charcuterie displayed to fine effect. From the two and a half hours this reviewer spent facing the action, it is clear that the kitchen is well-run and efficient with no frantic activity nor any apparent disconnect between the arrival of the orders and the appearance of the food. If only other places that give the customer a similar insight into the workings of their kitchen could provide such clear demonstrations of professionalism and calm! The food proved excellent. The star of the appetizers that we enjoyed was undoubtedly the octopus in parsley...delicately flavored and gratifyingly tender, although the avocado inflected tuna tartare mini tower ran it very close. The charcuterie selection on the wooden board was also very commendable, suggesting that the meat sourcing is carefully arranged. Rather less convincing was the locally produced burrata albeit that I should probably own up to being a bit of a burrata snob! In regards to the mains we had a small seafood paella alongside a large grilled branzino. We had been warned that the paella would be a little on the smoky side and this was no exaggeration. This said, there was plenty of seafood in it and although the smoked peppers did impart a little too much pungency for me, my dining companion had no complaints. The branzino, though, was impeccable. Nicely filleted at the table, the fish was moist and delicious, fresh and simple with a light sauce of oil and lemon in a separate jug, albeit that the dish really did not need any embellishment. The fries and broccoli that came as sides were also perfectly prepared. Although we really shouldn't have eaten anything more, we did succumb to the profiteroles for dessert, although our greed proved more than a match for our appetites, leaving room only for the rueful reflection that 'two out of three ain't bad'! Miami wine lists can sometimes prove disappointing but Marion's is definitely an exception to the rule. There is plenty of choice with some interesting and characterful offerings and the 2012 Alto Adige Gruner Veltliner was an ideal accompaniment to the fish. Opening cocktails were also well-executed. Top marks for the team at Marion and long may they continue to fly the flag for good ingredients cooked to perfection with charming and attentive service.

Great fun for a party !

Thoroughly enjoyable wild evening ! The food is ok but the atmosphere is absolutely great fun ! Dancing on tables , meeting people great waiters !

Very rude staff

By Liz B |

Staff was incredibly rude especially the blonde woman (I believe she is French) who I believe over sees the restaurant. We arrived at 7 which is when the restaurant opens and there was no one there. They told me that they could not seat us because of my shoes. I was wearing very nice black leather Stuart Weitzman sandals but they were flats. This woman would not look us in the eye and just spoke above us but never listened to what we were actually saying. She said they have a new very strict dress code. That is fine but this "new very strict dress code" is not written anywhere. It is not on their website or on opentable. We asked to speak to the manager and she walked off and a few minutes later came back and said he said my shoes were inappropriate (he never saw them). My dad asked if we could speak to the manager so I could show him my shoes and she said no. He was too busy to speak with us and was in a "very important meeting". She told me I could either go home and change or I had to leave so we left. My dad and I have traveled all over the world and been to some of the nicest restaurants and NEVER have dealt with such a rude and inconsiderate woman. It is a dark restaurant and again we were the only ones there. No one would have seen my shoes and again they were very nice leather sandals. I cant wear heels because of a knee injury. The last time we were at Marion the food was very good but we will NEVER go again to this restaurant. They care more about obtaining a certain image of clientele then treating their clients correctly.

Amazing place

By Laura C |

I really loved this place.I am a french who live in Miami and I felt like home. They took care of each detail to make you feel back in time, like in the 30's. Jazz live music, the food is really good and the ambiance is perfect. It is expensive but it worth it.I will definitely go back.

This is truly a D-grade restaurant and they should be ashamed.

By Blockman |

1) Upon being seated, they told us we only have two hours to finish from reservation time, at which time we will be forced to go to the bar 2) They forgot to give bread before serving appetizer 3) They do not include prices for whiskies in their menu 4) They apply 18% automatic gratuity on a party of two despite their service being atrocious 5) They handed the check back to the wrong member of the group 6) They did not include all the food requested when asking it to be packed This is truly a D-grade restaurant and they should be ashamed.

Dinner party!

By Belkis |

If you are looking for the perfect girls night out or simply want to celebrate a birthday, this is the perfect place. We came here for a friends birthday on a Friday night. Please make sure you do reserve as the place gets really busy, especially on the weekends. The girls and I all arrived on time. However, they took about a good 20- 30 minutes to sit us down. It was a total 7 of us but we patiently waited. We finally sat and everything went smooth after this. This was honestly the only issue we had that night. We ordered a sushi boat platter and a bunch of other appetizers. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Best choice we made, as we all wanted to try a little bit of everything. The service was excellent and the cocktails were made to perfection. Shortly after we were still eating, the dinner became a party. The whole entire place was such a vibe and needless to say the birthday girl had an amazing time. Clearly, we had a great time and forgot to take pictures of all the food. At then end, we ordered a dessert platter for the birthday girl and they added her name to it. I am all about the details. The night turned out so good and we stayed for the party.

Great Experience

By johns1717 |

Buzzing atmosphere on a Friday night with a wonderful menu and great service to match. We chose the roasted whole chicken for two and it was absolutely succulent and delicious. No attitude here. Waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. Christina the hostess/ manager was outgoing and extremely helpful, informing us of their night club, El Tucan, right next door which runs two shows nightly on the weekends. Complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was totally unexpected. By the way, the chocolate terrine was surreal! In-house bakery and patisserie. Wide array of seafood choices and pastas. This is a must visit. It was so good, we went back again on Tuesday night and it didn't disappoint. Consistency is the hallmark of any great restaurant and Marion has it. Finally, "Happy Hour" runs from 4:00-7:30 pm and the outdoor bar is great. I am getting the porchetta the next time I visit. Enjoy.

Best grilled octopus!

By Anya I |

Best grilled octopus ever! I always rave about if you wanted octopus - to go there. Went here for dinner, the ambience was upbeat and alive. Nice seating atmosphere and lighting was nice too. A little pricey though.

Overpriced

By Danmot |

I went with my wife for her birthday. We were sit in a table that was literally in the middle of the way - we obviously asked to be moved to a decent table. The place is loud and lively, so I honestly think is a better fit for a medium-to-large party and not for couples. Many large tables indeed... The food is ok. Just ok. To be fair, wagyu on the hot stone was amazing and probably the only thing I would positively remember. The good - the service and the ambience . The waiter made a great effort to make us comfortable at all times. His food recommendations and portions were just right. The place is loud and lively, so be ready for it. The bad - prices. There are many places with better food at a better price with even better ammenities. Wine prices are completely out of control even above a 3x multiplier vs retail which is utterly absurd. The ugly - 20% service charge for a couple. Seriously? I actually gave extra tip to the waiter, but he earned it. The 20% default charge is just insulting. In summary, I didn't had a bad time here, but it is simply not worth the price. First and last time I come here. P.D. BTW, one of the guys that brought the food wasn't wearing his face mask correctly.

Loud and pricey

By george c |

Our second visit to Marion. It is very MIAMI in its feel and menu. The location and food are both good. The price is on the high side for what you get. The big negative is on the sound level of the music. It’s a restaurant with a night club complex. Both of our visits to meet friends were a bit less than expected since we could not talk during dinner. The music blares and seems to be tailored to 20 year olds.

Not What We Expected

By Carltonshop262 |

Valet Parking $18., while all-around was $6 to $10, Waiter pushed $99 steak for 2. We ordered salad to share at $17 & Whole chicken $42, Martini $14 & prosecco $11 Waiter had an attitude, disappeared after starting service, took drink glass away before finished took chicken away before asking if we were done or wanting it to go. Cleared table & left pieces of food all over table. Dropped us after a table of 6 came in. Head waiters were very nice. Food was only average for the price charged & nothing like a "touch of France"as advertised. Ambience more like a hotel coffee shop. Would never go back.

Incredible!

By monmon5293 |

Very beautiful restaurant. The food is to die for. I got the truffle mac and cheese and filet mignon. It was amazing!! Would definitely recommend. I used a groupon and the food was affordable

Very nice place

By Moises C |

We have a b day celebration and they make a mistake with the wine we order a 95usd red wine bottle and the make a mistake a bring a 500 usd one. It was a big celebration so we complain and they make cost the price 180 each we order 3 . Was not very happy with the bill cost food was very good.

Beautiful, great service, pricey and average food

By Arturo U |

One of Brickell's most beautiful places, very tasteful and great layout. The food was not up to par with the decor and too pricey for the quality. Imported fish is fine, but a Miami restaurant must have fresh local seafood and produce. Oddly enough, the best dish in our party was the burger my son ordered. Must take corrective measures with the food, and bring it up to par with decor and great service.

To Die For!

By BEW78 |

On vacation and happened into Marion before the show at El Tucan. The ambiance is amazing- love the intertwining of leather-wood-rattan--amazing. We ordered off both the Happy Hour Menu and the regular menu. I don't know that I can pick a favorite because they were all delicious; so here is our menu: Oysters Goat Cheese Croquettes Yellowtail Nachos Tuna Tostadas (maybe my favorite) In addition, the service was amazing!! Our waiter was Eddie- he gave us great recommendations and was very attentive. James came and wiped down our table to keep it clean. Loved the personal attention and the delicious food!!! Will definitely go back on next visit in town.

Overpriced, low quality

By Alon |

Overpriced party ? Usually I wouldn’t mind as long as i have fun . Went to other similar places that have awesome food and great environment so ill pay Here ? I would go any day to any other similar place . AVERAGE food , if you “only” pay 2,000 a table you sit on the side . The worst part is that the waiter got 22% tip mandatory (350$) And he was mad at me for not leaving him extra , and called me cheap . I would never go there again i hope they go bankrupt.

Great date spot

By Katrina M |

We went to Marion on a Tuesday night. We got there at 6:30, and found out that they don’t open doors until 7pm, so we decided to wait. When we got there, there was only one other table that was occupied, it was very quite, but we definitely had an amazing dinner. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, highly recommend the lamb chops and Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were charred to perfection, and it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I would love to come see this place on a Friday night, when it would actually come alive. Overall, more on the higher rate as far as the price range, but great food and pretty spectacular service. Great date night spot, especially if you are looking to have a romantic dinner.

Perfect for Private Parties

By MiamiBeachFLTraveler |

Spacious restaurant on Brickell with great food and ambiance. The private rooms are very nice Extensive menu but they seem to get it right. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal.

Nice and Impressed!

By Jacques R |

This place is well located in Brickell. It has valet parking and it is needed... You come in and feel the nice atmosphere... Nice ladies take you to your table that I suggest you have to reserve... Try to ask for the tables near the bar area... They are nicer and have better feel. The bar area and the raw bar are both quite nice as you can see in most pictures. Service is quite nice and maybe a notch above average.... This place does accept byob with a 25$ price tag.. For me worth it... They have fresh fish and fresh sea food... Food in general is quite nice.. We had the salads, good, the cheese plate, this one I would avoid... They serve just absurd small quantities! The quality of cheese is good, but again can't taste properly.. Fish, nice, we had several grilled and they were quite tasty... We also had the chicken... Impressed by how juicy it was... By the way, being organic, we thought they were goong to be smaller and ordered 2... 1 was enough!!! Oysters were fresh.. Bread was very nice, as for price, it is not cheap, but you pay for what you get... The cheesecake was also quite good... All in all, this place we will come back. Enjoy

You will fall in love

By bearoso8 |

I watched while this restaurant was being created, I say created because all works of art are created. I was fortunate enough to be seated on opening night. When you go, because you must, you will marvel at how beautiful this restaurant is. It is elegant and tasteful and everything you would want for your surroundings. Marion's has an open kitchen which is a marvel. When you walk into Marion's you see the bar, which manages to convey old world elegance with a fresh vibrant feel. The specialty cocktails are varied, there is something for everyone. The Moscow Mule is a specialty which is served in copper mugs. After a cocktail move on to the dining room for a sumptuous, mouth-watering meal. It is served family style, so everyone tries a little bit of everything on the table. or appetizers we had the 25 tomatoes salad with homemade burrata and the very fresh tuna tartar. Both were perfect. I had the organic chicken served over sage rice and it was divine. My partner had the stripped bass en papillote. It was delightfully tender and moist. For dessert, we had the white chocolate creme with raspberries, which was rich and creamy and very addictive. Every staff member was extraordinarily attentive and well informed. After looking over their menu, I know we will be back to explore this culinary masterpiece of a restaurant. Absolutely splendid.

Amazing Dinner & Music!

By Abeda D |

I came with 2 friends and my cousin for her bday dinner during my trip to Miami. I had a delicious dinner; the sushi tasted amazing, along with the potatoes and chicken dish. We finished a bottle of champagne and pinot noir. Everything was great, along with the service. I loved the DJ! He played songs that you can dance to all night!

Terrible experience

By lurogo9 |

This was very bad experience! Terrible, terrible, terrible service and they charge you 20% tip, this is unacceptable after the very bad service. If that wasn't enough bad they charge more on the bill, we were 10 for lunch buffet and the charge for 11. And drinks are more than expensive, a glass of wine $17!!! This is so sad because the food is very good!

Ambience is great but .....

By Simon T |

My first time here If you are staying in Sobe it's a it of a drive The ambiance and vibe is cool Very nice waiters and managers Ie friendly and attentive but the food for me wasn't good They sold me fish for two people and didn't tell me it was for two My partner eating with me had ordered steak First I knew was for two was when they charged me $79 for the fish alone I told them I would only have fish is filleted and boneless Senior waiter said ' I absolutely guarantee it 'it was full of bones and late Side dishes came with no main and got Cold In end they cut the fish cost by half but disappointing I won't be in a hurry to return

France is officially in Brickell!

By carmenmurphy |

Walking into the Marion you are transplanted to a romantic candlelit piece of Paris. The bar is adorn in retro Parisian fashion and everyone is pleased to see you. I recommend ordering from the fabulous cheese cart and charcuterie specialist to start with a cocktail of course. If you have the time, walk next door (still owned and operated by the same team) for a show reminiscent of Moulin Rouge.. made me miss Paris!

Good food, terrible service

By Carlos L |

Menu is extensive a lot of interesting options. We tried shishito peppers, burratta, pork belly wraps, sliders all very good. Crunchy shrimp not so. They are all ment to be shared Tomahawk steak was super although almost half was bone. Filet mingon ok truffle mac and cheese was very good Wine list prices are obscene. Three to four times plus. But the worst by far was the service Several times we asked for water, waiter walk by us many times new we needed service still went by Order came incomplete one of our party members had his food delivered after everyone had finished Music is a little loud and not neccesarily to my liking Miami has so many options this one will remain at the bottom of my list. Although food was good, service was so horrible we will not return, not coming back.

Got COVID here, avoid!!

By Londonlad1234 |

went here for dinner last saturday night with 7 friends, 6 of us tested positive for covid upon getting symptoms 4/5 days after visiting Marion. to be honest, not surprised given there is 0 safety protocols here for covid. no temperature checks, no masks being worn inside, with 100+ people dancing around everywhere guess was bound to happen. definitely avoid if you dont want to catch covid. oh, also, terribly expensive for pretty lousy food. thanks for nothing marion!

A MUST for a fun dinner

By NicMoraXO |

Marion is the definition of what you would expect from a Miami restaurant. We were here for a bachelorette and we all had a BLAST. For a large party, they do charge a very high minimum but it’s worth it. Food was great and crowd was so fun. It’s like a party-style dinner - not for those looking to lay low on a weekend. Get ready to drink, laugh, eat good food and rage. The service was excellent. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a really fun night. Make your reservation after 10pm.

5 Star Service and Food!!!!

By allen b |

Phenomenal new restaurant off of Brickell avenue. Decor is exquisite with a relaxing sophisticated atmosphere. Service is 5 star. Our waiter Eros was attentive, professional gracious, but not pushy or over bearing. He provided a review that was just right of every aspect of the menu. Back up staff was also very attentive with spot on attention. Food delivery was like a show with a flurry of white doing final table side preparation. Custom drinks were a delight in taste as well as how they were served. The food portions are hearty and made to share, with a taste that leaves you wanting more. Leave room for dessert!!!! Food service and decor all a 5+ star quality experience! Do not miss this fine dining experience!!

A MUST SEE EXPERIENCE !!

By John S |

Marion is a MUST GO restaurant while in Miami. Unbelievable decor and staff. Food, drinks and entertainment is OVER THE TOP. Staff has the energy not seen in any other establishment we have visited in many years of vacationing in Miami. Really enjoyable to see first hand a well managed property.

Great time

We had an amazing experience at Marion on a Tuesday night for their lobster night. The service was great, the food was amazing and the ambiance was the cherry on top. Would definitely go back

Food is very good!

By Bill R |

We really enjoyed our meal but this is a quirky place! They don't open until 7 yet are in a downtown business location? We arrived @ 6:30 for an early dinner and a rope was up at the entrance. Unusual for Miami but it was a cold night, we said ok, can we have a drink at the bar until 7. reply was NO you'll have to wait outside?????? We went somewhere else for a drink and came back around 7:15 we were one of 5 tables, it is a big dining room. Food was amazing and service was adequate but not 5 star. We left shortly after 9 and they had added a DJ but still only 5-7 tables???? I think they are missing the mark, the food is great, well presented, flavourable but the managment is missing the mark. Not sure if we will return we had tried to make a reservation as a friend had been there for happy hour previously, but they no longer do happy hour ( again weird for a downtown location) they only would take a reservation with a deposit. This rubs me the wrong way, if the food is good and service great people will come back!

Trendy, great location

By GeorgeFMarkhamON |

Marion was our introduction to the Mary Brickelll section of downtown Miami. Gentrification and renewal at its best. Authentic French dishes prepared with panache and originality. Limited menu selections, but extensive enough that everyone was satisfied. Too much emphasis on "organic". The mushroom risotto was excellent. Garganelli is a great option. Home made tagliatelle were delicious. Good selection of wines.

Gross and discriminatory

By lourdes P |

Terrible experience, extremely rude manager We went to celebrate our anniversary, ordered our food, coktails and then a bottle of wine, when we were halfway through the meal and starting the bottle of wine, the waiter told us that we had to vacate the table (we had never been told we had the limited time) we asked him to let us finish however, the manager arrived, and he was extremely rude, he told us that we had to pay already the amount and leave or order a bottle of $500 dlls to continue there, we did not understand why we were to the only table that they were requesting this, if the tables next door arrived almost like us and they did not say anything. It felt extremely discriminatory.

not really impressed

By Lidubina S |

the place is new. Really was not impressed, although had high expectations.Elegant environment. It is a large restaurant and looks they invested a lot of money in the facility but they did not on the menu. They barely had anything of what we ordered in the menu, suppose because it was the second day, but it was not a good start. service was not impressive either but the bill was. will not go back eventhough it is downstairs in my building.

They had me at the bread. . . .

By LSSmiami |

I could have been happy with a basket of their homemade bread and delicious olive tapenade! Throw in the Marion Mule and I would have been satisfied! Happily, we were seated immediately. Hostesses were very friendly without pretentiousness. Staff were most accommodating when we asked to change our table to a more comfortable one. Server was also friendly and knowledgeable, answering our many questions and guiding us through the menu. We started with the piquillo peppers ( not much and small portion), the octopus, which was delicious. We had ordered a small Charcuterie but a large came to the table. We told the runner to bring it back and exchange for the smaller. The server brought the same platter back in a few minutes, trying to convince us it was so much better as it had more of a variety. It was easier just to keep it, and we did. I must say the selections were delicious. But it was definitely too much food and not appreciate it was pressed on us. Be sure to find the pear jam ( it's so dark in there, it is hard to spot) It is delicious. My companions had requested cheese to accompany the charcuterie... but by the time the server brought over the cheese cart, the meat was long long. As the restaurant got filled to capacity, our server was stretched a little too thin! We were so full at that point, we declined the cheese cart... and at $5 per 1 oz sliver of cheese, no doubt a good thing. Many of their selections are made to share. We ordered the large paella , which was delicious and adorned with colossal sized shrimp. The best of the night was the Veal Milanese - tender, well seasoned, absolutely delicious and gigantic ! The eggplant side was also delicious. Although the restaurant was packed, tables were well spaced and you were able to carry on a conversation easily. We were too satiated for dessert but will try it next time. We were put off when the server asked us to leave the tip in cash.... saying the restaurant takes 40% of the tip for themselves. Don't know if that is true or not. We will definitely return as we had a very enjoyable and delicious meal.

Awesome place to eat and have fun

By Deya |

I went with a group of friends. Service is good. Ambience is fun. You get free entertainment with your meal . The restaurant has an awesome DJ. Food quality is great. My table got the risotto, sushi, tacos , flat bread with truffles which tasted fresh, good presentation and flavorful . Don’t recommend the truffles fries.

Excellent food & service

its an average place, with good vibes, but average goals

By Ricardo O |

I have only been there for lunch, on a saturday. Management has not adjusted to the local market, and lunch menu is very limited in terms of portion and selection. If you want something from the dinner menu, they tell you that they are strictly tending to lunch menu. hence there goes revenues. The "spanish" atmosphere presents it selkf in the menu, but its not spanish altoghether. it says its mediterranean, but it is not either. so...its an average place with average goals. Not seeking a star nor excellence. Regardless, the limited menu was served well, very much within standard average. Acceptable food, the "iberico" ham not so "black". Good average food within the constraints of the menu. I will try early dinner sometime, and see if they are continuously average, or they actually have a Chef show up for dinner. I will return, seldomly. not my first choice.

Outstanding food

Went on a business dinner with a large group; we order octopus for entree and steak for main; both were quite good and well presented. Dessert was a combination of small portions and we were able to try a few different ones. Service was fast considering we were a large table

Super high-end buffet for business lunches

By SoBe_Mom |

Marion is located about 2 blocks west of Brickell so it is in a quiet area. Valet parking is available. The restaurant offers an executive buffet for lunch for $24. Beverages are extra. It includes raw oysters, shrimp, sushi, and salads for cold options, and on the day I was there sea bass and steak for hot items. Dessert is also included. Service is attentive but not obtrusive.

Birthday party

By Philadelphia89 |

I spend the night a few weeks ago for my birthday party.. what a night! Good food good drinks and I big thanks to our host David who make sure we had everything we need it! Will definitely come back for more!

They don't care about you spending a good time, they only care about you spending a good amount of money!

By Ella Millennial |

The fish was cold when served, waiter melted white wine and rosé in the same glass by mistake but didn't change glasses, when bill arrived price of the food didn't correspond to what was written on the menu! Awful discussion about the bill at the end, it felt so unappropriated! In Europe when some mistakes like these ones happen they apology and rectify instantly, here we felt bad to even had to justify why we weren't paying something we didn't ordered nor knew about! They don't care about you spending a good time, they only care about you spending a good amount of money! For some it might work, for me, I won't ever return again!

Racial Undertones

By Olivia Jackson |

Made reservations at Marion Miami for a birthday dinner. Our reservation was for 10:30 pm, we valet parked our vehicle for $25.00 and walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly and advised that the remainder of the party would need to be there before they sat us. I ordered a drink at the bar and this was at about 10:25. The remainder of my party arrived at 10:35 and they sat us down at 10:46 pm, our waiter stopped by our table at 10:46 pm and said he would be with us shortly. At 10:55 pm the waiter took our appetizer menu then grabbed the menus and stated that he was taking them so we can eat comfortably. At 11:05 pm the valet attendant brought our keys back which was an indication that something was wrong because the venue should have been open until 3:00 am. At 11:15 pm the waiter came back and started to take our dinner menu and while taking the dinner order who I would assume was the chef angrily called the waiter over and spoke to him while pointing back at the table and stormed off. At 11:25 the waiter returned to the table with the hostess and announced the kitchen closed at 11:00 pm and that if we wanted to they could give us meat and the only side available was fries and the chef had left the building. I flew in from Houston, TX to celebrate with friends and family in Miami, FL. Had I known that I would experience the level of disrespect covered with racial profiling I would never have even made the reservation. Marion Miami is in Brickell, located essentially in Miami, FL which is considered a melting pot of diversity with people from all over the world crossing paths. If I can say something it would be Marion’s handling of our reservation wasn’t just subpar; it was an overt betrayal of trust, warranting public disclosure and severe scrutiny. In an industry where reputation is currency, Marion’s actions served as a flagrant devaluation of its own brand after what we witnessed from the server, chef and hostess. To prospective patrons contemplating a visit, I strongly advise proceeding with extreme caution. IT IS 2023 and although in Miami, FL the racial undertones were extremely prevalent.

Terrible service , be careful they still money!

By timbradley44 |

Stopped in for coffee with friends and since i dont drink coffee i tried the empanada and it was delicious! Limited menu since it is a cafe, but authentic food for sure!

Amazing!

By adammait |

The food is beyond tasty! The service was phenomenal. The ambience of course was very romantic. Don't miss this place. If you have been, you know what I am saying. If you have not yet enjoyed the deliciousness that they offer...don't delay any longer. Out of a scale 1-10 I give this place an 11!

Be careful with your bill

By Fifi |

Mediocre service, went as a party and had a bad experience. Tried talking with a manager but the manager was also unprofessional. Had extra things charged to my bill(that we did not order), long wait time for food and drinks, and even trouble with ordering alcohol. Very disappointed.

Great Expectations, Disappointed Performance

By lovetoeat |

I wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary, restaurant was very noisy, Which made it very difficult for us to talk. We shared the grilled octopus appetizer which was excellent, unfortunately the rest of the meal was borderline ordinary. I had their version of a wedge salad which had chunks with blue cheese and sliced jalapeños on the bottom of the plate but unfortunately the dressing was tasteless and flavorless. For an entrée I had the skirt steak and asked for to be cooked medium and it actually came out medium well, my wife had an Asian noodle Beef salad. She asked for the beef to be well done and it came out rare. The most disappointing part of our meal was sitting in front of the open kitchen and looking at the collection of dirty, Dusty copper pots hanging in front of us that look like they hadn't been cleaned in a year. They were hanging over a food preparation area and as someone who has been in the hospitality business for over 40 years, I found this to be extremely disturbing and distracting. When I mention something to the manager he was very apologetic had the pots and pans immediately removed to the kitchen and was very gracious and adjusting our bill.unfortunately this is not a place I would recommend to anyone the food was ordinary, the only thing extraordinary about this restaurant is the staff.

MUST HAVE ROMANTIC SPOT!

By Harpreet B |

If you have been to BAOLI & EL TUCAN, then you will NOT be disappointed with MARION. All three restaurants are owned by the same company, so I knew what to expect in advance - nothing but excellence! This restaurant is a very lively chic romantic spot for any special occasion. I came here for dinner during Labor Day weekend with friends on a Friday night at 8:30PM. Reservations were easily booked the same day. You can easily park valet for $16 or opt out for street parking or nearby public garages ($8). Upon arrival, the front desk ladies were not able to find my reservation on file, however, they had no problems in finding us a table right away. The restaurant is very beautiful - the ambience and the liveliness really makes you want to get up and dance! Not only can you come here with friends, it's also a LOVELY SPOT for a ROMANTIC DATE! For drinks, I had ordered my usual Black Label on the rocks, along with a few 'Miami Spice' special cocktail drinks on the menu of bourbon - which you can't go wrong with whiskey & that only for $8 during Miami Spice! I decided to go with the Miami Spice menu and ordered every dish on there. For appetizers, I went with Butter Crab Roll, Crispy Prawns & Lollipop Wings. Each dish tasted exquisite! My favorite out of all of them were the 'Crispy Prawns'. For entrees, I ordered Ginger Miso Baby Chicken, Seafood Lo Mein & Wood Fire Salmon Teriyaki. My favorites were the 'Seafood Lo Mein' & 'Wood Fire Salmon Teriyaki'. Every dish incorporated a lovely mix of Mediterranean & Asian twist to it, which had a very unique taste. The portions of each dishes are quite small, however, between the 3 of us we divided all the dishes evenly, which ended up being enough for us. It was just a better way for us to try each dish that way. For desserts, they had ran out of Matcha Green Tea Molten Lava Cake, however, brought us all a similar dish of there signature dessert, Chocolate Molten Lava Cake instead. All the dishes & drinks tasted AMAZING! When it came time to pay for the bill, it came out to be about $250. I decided to split the bill between 3 and ended up paying $83 in total (including gratuity tip & tax). Smooth transactions. Although food portions were small, nevertheless, the food was DELICIOUS! Definitely worth the price. I loved the ambience, decor, lively music, exceptional friendly service along with the great company I had. I will definitely come back again and recommend this place to all my friends.

Absolutely Delicious

By shopandtravel88 |

The food was really good! I had the ribeye with bone marrow. Extremely tender and rich in flavor. The meal was very decadent. It is a must try! Great service too!!

TERRIBLE!!!

By hilda |

This people overcharge you and they have no respect for your $ , if you are having dinner at a normal time they are going to make any cain of excuses to take your table as soon as they can to accomodate more "victims"... never again for me!!! one star is too much for this place!!

Superb food and best Manager

By stephensos |

This is the second time I have eaten here within the month. The food and service are outstanding. The manager Benjamin remembered our exact drinks we had three weeks ago. The Tuna tostada, and shared a paella gave our taste buds a treat.

Terrible and discriminatory experience

By Fabio G |

Terrible experience, extremely rude manager. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary but ended up having a terrible experience. We ordered food, cocktails, and then a bottle of wine; yet, when we were halfway through the meal and while we just had opened the bottle of wine, the waiter told us we had to leave the table. We were never told we had a limited time for dining. We kindly asked him to let us finish our drinks, then the manager came and was extremely rude to us. He told us we had to pay the bill and leave, or order a $500 bottle to stay longer in the table. We didn't understand why we were the only table being asked to leave for that reason as the tables next to us arrived almost at the same time as we did and they weren't being ordered to leave. It felt extremely discriminatory.

Fun dinner & party place. Good food too!

By Verdu Eats |

If you’re into this concept and happen to be in Miami definitely try to make it here. It will be expensive but you end up with a badge of wealthy Parton in you credit card statement ;-D They do Japanese and American fusion and the service is ok. Great desserts! All food was good -and flashy too :-) Check out some of the photos since that’d be the best way to explain why everything here is like that...you’ll also see live performances and Vegas style flare all around.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

By Kevin Alejandro O |

The place is beautiful, perfect atmosphere, very, very nice, delicious food and excellent service. I will gladly return.

Extremely pretentious! Did not make it clear that there was a no shorts policy. Staff were very rude & unhelpful! Doesn’t deserve 1 star!

Excellent Dinner with friends

By Ysaac1234 |

A group of friends and I had a pleasurable dinner, the cocktails were excellent and the food was amazing, As appetizers we had sushi, calamari, and goat cheese croquets. The main entrees were also very good, the whole chicken, and Beef Tenderloins were excellent, at the end of the night we had a dessert which was a house creation, fruits, chocolate lava cake, macaroon, creme brulee and it was delicious.

Mediterranean oasis in Miami

By Paola P |

Coming from a 4 month trip in Europe back to where I have been living for 9 years I was lucky to get invited to this great location. I couldn't have such a better welcome back experience with my friends, my lovely concierges. The food is superb, from the cheeses, to the bread, to the fresh caught seafood that you can chose from (also how you want it cooked) and not to leave behind dessert. WOW they have about 20 different ones so YES leave space because from beginning to end is FANTASTIC. Amazing service and LUCILE was exceptional. I felt like if I was still in the South of France or Spain. Thank you!

Superb Ambiance

By nbussenius |

We made reservations for 8oclock at Marion. We enjoyed some cocktails first by the bar. The place looks awesome with a DJ playing some really good (chill house) music. The menu is very original and well thought out. We decided to order many plates to share as we wanted to try almost everything. As the evening progressed more people started arriving and the atmosphere was becoming very festive. Only regret is that we had other commitments and had to leave. I will definitely go back...not at 8!

Amazing

“Amazing food and an incredible atmosphere. Big thanks to Sabrina, our waitress, for her excellent service

No complimentary refill??

By Kimberly S |

Dined at Marion last night with my daughter and mother-in-law. Beautiful restaurant and lovely menu, but for the sophistication and quality of this dining experience, we found it rather absurd to be charged for a refill of our iced tea. Just saying.

Fun appetizers under the stars

By themurphman |

Happened upon Marion on vacation last week and loved it! Great appetizers....especially the wonderful goat cheese croquettes! We had wonderful service and the beer list was substantial. The prossecco was awesome too....try it!

Good bar, good food

Pleasant evening in the private dining room. Good charcuterie and octopus appetizer, both fish and steak entree options also very well received. Service good. Valet parking. Excellent bar scene.

Birthday dinner and party

By 19Rene58 |

We booked Marion for my fiancée’s birthday. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The ambiance, decor, food and service went beyond expectation! After dinner the restaurant switches to party mode. Like a one stop shop!! Everyone in our group, like us, had never been there before and now can’t wait to go back!!! Special thanks to Dave Saada for making our evening a very special one!! Thanks Dave, again!!

Excellent!

By Karen R |

This could be one of my favorite restaurants. My husband and I went there for an early dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food (almost). The only negative was having a waiter that was disinterested in being there (at least until shortly before we left). He seemed to come alive about an hour later in the evening. We did have to speak to the manager about the waiter as my husband's first course had items we specifically told the waiter not to include. My food was delicious (a pasta dish) that I'm still dreaming about. We've since gone back and had another wonderful meal with much better service.

Be Careful When Paying by Credit Card

By Lawrence Harvey |

Lovely food, particularly the brussel sprouts Very buzzy atmosphere and good service, as agreed by other reviews, but watch out when you pay by credit card. an 18% service charge is included in the bill, but you will be presented with a mini ipad that has a compulsory screen with buttons suggesting a further 18-30% tip. There is even a button for 'No Tip'!!! But hang on, it's already included in the bill, so what is going on here. I will say no more.

Anniversary Dinner

By Jose Nunez |

The place was amazing, we had a great time, it met and exceeded all expectations. Very classy. The most impressive part was the service that was provided by Roy our waiter/host, who made sure we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back.

Romantic

By Bebe_Binx |

Very nice restaurant. I came here with my boyfriend for a romantic dinner and came out very satisfied. The service was great. The manager came by a couple times to check on us to make sure we were pleased. We were given complementary limoncello drinks at the end. The food was great.

Staff Dinner was great!

By Drg B |

All I got to say is Charcoaled Baby Back Ribs! Best Ribs I've had since south Africa. I took my staff at Cafe of life Chiropractic and we all loved the Ribs. The staff was very attentive and gave us great recommendations on drinks and dessert. We at cafe of life chiropractic miami beach thank you! :)

C'est si bon

By mlozano451 |

The eagerness and attention to service at this Downtown newcomer is one of its biggest assets and one that should never be unattended by its management. A beautiful open kitchen showcasing their amazing and delectables fruits de mer is certainly one of the highest points of the visit. Their menu displaying a plateau de fromage incited my curiosity. This is no small feat, since you must have staff knowledgeable of the product. I was not disappointed, the young lady presented the selections and navigated through the different regions that produced the great variety of cheese that she excitedly shared with us. Our main server proved to be elegant, attentive and knowledgeable of the product. Marion could do better at sitting. Their fare is Mediterranean food to be shared in a family style, as it should, yet their sitting arrangements are for after hours wine and espresso service. We requested to be moved to the raw bar seating when we realized there would be no more room for our food. The staff assisted in the most gracious, most elegant and seamless way, we thought we were transported in a cloud. Their simple half dozen shrimp could use an improvement in quality and presentation. It looked defrosted, wilted, small and lonely to be served in a larger plate chuck full of ice more apt for a better quality and larger shrimp display. The raw bar view created the opportunity to watch the incredible mouth watering rotisserie chicken at work. Felipe, our elegant waiter, got our effervescent promise to return to try the country lemon infusions of such delectable plate. fromage

Over hyped and very poor value

By turnleftisbest |

Over rated, over hyped and average at best. We went on a Tuesday and were told the big (20 guests) table in the middle of the restaurant was an ‘agents’ table with 20 very young and active social media girls who were expressively invited to hype up the restaurant as recompense for a good night out including 3 bottles of dom p champagne ($1,200 per bottle). Once they left at about 11pm, the place was dead and we left shortly after as did most other guests. The champagne starts at $400 a bottle despite a glass costing $25 ? Given there are approx 6-7 glasses per bottle, the waiting staff failed to explain how the maths worked as to why a bottle costed so much more ?! The least expensive wine costs about $60 with most in the $150-500 bracket. The food is good but certainly not inexpensive. The saving grace about this place is the entertainment - and entertaining it is. At $150 a head, it’s not good value and very over hyped. Not to be recommended or returned to IMO.

Perfect place

By Stefanie R |

I love Marion! The food couldn't be any more fresh and delicious and the warm service is impeccable . This is the perfect date night spot and their private rooms would be amazing for bridal showers !!!!! I can't wait to go back!

excellent dinner party

By Cem V |

excellent food, service and party atmospher, excellent from A to Z ! there is also outside terrace for dining also for smoking,

Overrated and pretentious

By al leon |

The food was adequate, nothing special. Unfortunately, when you want to make a reservation they want your credit card number so, if you don't show up, they want to charge you $50.00 per person. Perhaps this place is busy on the the weekend to justify this policy, but it was almost empty when I got there. FYI, they have a "service charge" of per $3.00 per drink so you'll end up paying $20.00 for a cocktail. Also, they charged an 18% "service charge" on top of drink "service charge" when you order food. This place is down the street from a Publix supermarket and a 7Eleven with a metro rail across the street, not exactly a high rent area to justify all this overcharging.

Outstanding dining and entertainment experience

By IvyStanev |

My wife and I decided to celebrate a very special occasion at Marion Miami, on the recommendation of a nightlife aficionado VIP client of ours. I am here to tell you - you will be hard pressed to find a better dining and entertainment venue in Miami. Period. Full stop. We were seated in Metodi’s section, and the level of attentive service and heartfelt hospitality were impeccable. We will certainly ask to be seated in his section again on our next visit, and we highly recommend you do the same as well. Mustapha, the manager on duty, came to our table as well to ensure that our dining experience was on point and continued to check on us throughout the night. The food was sumptuous and delectable, the libations made with skill and content and the presentation was the pinnacle of artistic excellence. Two very highly enthusiastic thumbs up, we will return pronto and ensure that everyone in our social circle hears about out great experience.

Fun place for a group

By Dodi 21 |

This place was recommended by my client. I made a reservation over the phone, the lady was very nice and explained that the will be a charge for $50 to my CC for no show which is normal and fair to the restaurant owner, she nicely mentioned the dress code and the ambiance. We got there 10 min before our reservation and we were greeted and directed to the bar. The drinks were good. 10 min after our reservation, my husband had to go to the hostess to check on our table I wish they were paying more attention. To that and he had to carry our drinks too : 2 strikes there. The waitress was very nice and explained the menu. She was dancing more than again paying attention to our drinks and we had to get her attention couple of times which I hate doing since her only job is to cater to clients rather than dancing on the floor. The food was average nothing fancy but good. The DJ is the one who is keeping this place open so I give him 5 stars. He played all king of music with a great mix of beats at the right time. It’s a little loud if you are looking for a romantic dinner or a business dinner but a good place for a birthday or any other celebrations. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a fun night, good food and good drinks. They should do better on the service : hostess and servers need to get better. Thanks

Ideal mid-week break with good Food, music and Club

By Aldo M |

Nice ambiance, very good music and entretairnment on Thursdays. The food is alright, nothing special and prices a little bit on the high side. After dinner you can go to the club attached to the restaurant "El Tucan" and have some fun. Thursday is the only day to go, if you go any other day you will be dissapointed. Be careful when you are going pay as the tip is already included, they bring a credit card terminal to the table so you can put the tip......but guess what? the tip is already included (they indicate that in very little letters) so you can get trapped leaving 40% tipo if you do not pay attention.

Ambiance A+; Crowd A+; Food A+; Service A+

By ap |

Marion was a very pleasant surprise find. From the moment you walk in, you see a very pretty hip crowd, a profesional Disk Jokey playing with the crowd. I really liked the various salads, sashimi, ceviche, the Branzino and the lamb chops. Strongly recommend going.

Just okay

By Valerie G |

My husband and I and our 5 year old had lunch here the other day. I was looking forward to this place as my husband had eaten there some weeks before on a business trip to Miami and had good things to say. Sadly my expectations were not really met. We started with salads. He had an arugula salad and the waiter persuaded me to try the mixed tomato salad. The portions were really big. We could easily have shared one of them and I had suggested that before we ordered but the waiter insisted that the portions were appetizer size. Not so at all. The salads were good. Filling but good. There was also a lovely bread basket which we enjoyed. We decided to have the branzino for 2. At 79.00 we were really looking forward to being impressed. We both love branzino. What a letdown though. Our fish was overcooked and in some parts burnt. And even though our waiter filleted the fish at our table, my portion was full of bones. I spent more time picking out bones than eating. The fish was also on the small side. Certainly not nearly enough for 2 people to share and at that price?? This is possibly the worst serving of branzino I have had. Very disappointing. Just on that one experience I cant say that I recommend this place. It is not value for money.

Lovely French Bistro in Downtown Miami

By NooSoo |

The decor was French Bistro meets Miami; lovely. I met friends to partake in the lunch buffet and it was very good. It was largely Mediterranean fare, pastas, grilled veggies, antipasto and salads. Everything was very good and there was a large variety. Can't wait to go back one night to try its famed Chicken.

Beautiful Restaurant

By Thomas K |

Marion is a concept and its well done. The coziness, the food bar, the decoration. Difficult to manage such a big space but they have done it well. Service was perfect unfortunately the kitchen did not follow. Some dishes have been excellent others needed to be returned. That's why I rated only average but it deserves normally a very good. I agree we have been a large group of spoiled diners but other restaurants manage even the most curious choices. They offered the wine which was very fair and we left an outstanding tip ! Till next time .

Beautiful restaurant but food and service not so great

By Lanettecueto |

Came here for lunch, the place is really beautiful but... The food was not so good. The oysters were on the warm side, not good. The fish was cold. The service not good. Two people in our table ordered the steak and they wanted it medium. Our waitress basically gave us an attitude and said it comes as it comes. Kind of unorganized... amateur, the whole experience.

Worst anniversary of my life

By yurivalencia |

We had the worst experience, my husband and I visited this place for celebrate our anniversary and after 2 hours and $550 spent we asked for more drinks and they told us that our reservation was over because they only save the table for 2 hours, the place is fun but not worth it also they should do some renovations in the place

Fun Thursday dinner, TERRIBLE waiter

By Lobagirl |

We, 6 girls went here recently for a dinner on a Thurs night. We sat at 8 and began ordering different items to share off of the menu. Everything was great except the waiter’s attitude and impatience. He was a royal jerk and really ruined our night. Something that was to be nice, pleasant and fun turned sour thanks to him. He was always in a hurry and his rude remarks should have been left at the door when he clocked in for work. I have recommended this place to many but always tell them to beware of the bald French waiter. I would have given it 5 stars but he really ruined our dinner for us. Hopefully he will be long gone by the next time we decide to dine here.

A night to remember

By Cathy S |

We went for my brother's 40th birthday and absolutely loved the experience. It felt like being back in the 50's. It was a wild ride. The food was incredible. The performers were sexy and entertaining. The waiters were incredibly attentive and careful to take care of our allergies. And the host was hilarious.

Nice and trendy

By Pepe Esca |

The place is very nice and the food is great although the atmosphere used to be better... I have to say that the last time I went, it was a Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Went twice in our 3 night stay!

By MPtravel |

Loved it here! Though it does feel a bit like New York, I would definitely recommend this spot. The bread is baked daily and is amazing - I could have made a meal out of it. The whole fish is excellent and very reasonably priced. We also loved the tomato salad and beef tartar appetizers. It's pretty easy to get a reservation here so I guess the secret's not out yet.
