Some items are very good and others are average.

I usually enjoy the salads the most when I visit because the 2 or 3 times I tried the Greek dishes they were very dry tasting. Service is generally good but probably better at lunch time.

Great Food!!!

By reitoth |

My husband and I were visiting family in LV. Went to Market Grill Cafe in Durango Drive for lunch. Excellent food. I had grilled chicken and veggie with pumpkin mushroom soup. Loved it!!! Price is very reasonable. Athena waited on us and chef Joe came by to say "Hi". Very friendly.

Really Authentic Greek Cuisine

By Gary F |

A whole lot of delicious! I felt like I was in the Mediterranean! Fresh pita bread with rosemary and olive oil, falafel, Greek salad, and Salmon and veggie skewers with basmati rice. Yum!

Homemade Greek deliciousness!

By Susan W |

About once a week, I treat my family to dinner here. The staff is always welcoming and keep our iced teas filled. The food is made fresh daily and there is a good variety. Pomegranate chicken entree is my favorite, which includes salad, pita bread with hummus, and rice. Even dessert feels healthy. Try the Aphrodite baklava cheesecake! Very family friendly but good for couples as well. Patio or inside seating. Delicious and nutritious!

Yummy and unique

So refreshing to get a non-fast food lunch at a really decent price in Vegas. The lunch special was a great deal. Huge portions and great service.

Terrible Experience

By Emerald1125 |

We went in the side door marked for take-out orders. We asked to see a menu so we could place an order. It would have been nice to be able to sit down while looking at the menu, but that was not possible. There was only seating for three people and some kid selling candy had his crap spread out over the entire bench, preventing paying customers from using it. The employees did nothing about it. To add injury to insult, this same kid had a ball that he was bouncing off the walls and bouncing off the ceiling and actually hitting customers. It was very difficult trying to place an order with that ball flying all over the room. The employees did nothing about it. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

My Jam.

Prior to eating at this store, I have been to numerous Greek, and Mediterranean places for my quick fix of a greasy gyro. However, when I came to this place, MY TASTE BUDS REJOICED! Im pretty sure that hummus they served acted as a angelic vessel to take my taste bud to zion. The food is so fresh, and delicious. I go probably 3 times a month now. SOOOO GOOOD

Yummy Greek

By yosemite85 |

Excellent Greek food in a lovely setting. The Moussaka was delicious. The salad had a lovely light dressing. The hummus was light and served with hot pita. The baklava was awesome. The gyro was very flavorful. Will definitely return. The service was also excellent with everyone attentive to your needs. OPA!

OPA

This is my second visit to this place and I plan to make it a regular thing. The best greek food I have ever had. I would recommend the pomegranate chicken, cauliflower soup, and Trio Platter. Very reasonable prices and a great lunch special that is only $9!

Changed Menu - Less Food

By LasVegasPamela56 |

Have been getting take out here for last few years (the Lake Mead location). It was a little on the expensive side for the amount of food, but was always good. I called in an order last week, the grilled skewers entrée, and when I picked it up, I was informed that the salad no longer comes with the entrée, but the price was the same. The girl at the counter could not give an explanation as to why the salad was no longer included. When I arrived home and opened the containers, there also was no hummus and pita bread, which also use to come with the entrée (and is listed on the menu). The veggie skewer had only tomatoes and onions. There was no red and green bell peppers or mushrooms (the menu also states these items will on the skewer). So basically, what use to be the entrée has now been reduced to the meat, rice and a tomato/onion skewer. Shame on Market Grille Café. I will no longer order from this establishment.

Good Greek

By leightayl0r |

The night we visited there was a big party and their individual orders put demands on the kitchen that slowed down food to other diners. Appetizers were good and the pita bread excellent. The beef and the lamb skewers were excellent. The manager was very apologetic for the delays which was appreciated.

Great food, great service, very homey place

By LVgourmet |

We had ordered take out for an office party a few years ago but I had never gone there for dinner. So last night my wife and I decided to give it a try. I wanted the humus appetizer but it came with bread which I could not have. So the waiter offered to swap the bread for veggies. We went light with the entrees and ordered the spinach salad with pomegranate chicken. The food was fantastic. I really liked their ambiance and decor too. But what was unusual (and outstanding) was the level of service. From the owner to multiple wait staff came by and made sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything else.... that I had never seen before. That is why I decided to write this review. I saw one negative review complaining about the food. To that person I say you have not had terrible food yet. MGF's food is fantastic. I cook and I know my food and I know what is good. Price was very reasonable too. I would go as far saying that it is a bargain given the quality and service. Wow.

Good Greek Food

By 843vickyh |

A very nice dining experience. The decor is relaxing and the wine/beer selection is good. The gyro is to die for...and the deserts are yummy. Definitely a place to check out.

Great Greek Grub!!!!!!

By BradleyandMia |

This place is a find. Stopped in while shopping. Great Greek delicacies from main entrees to appetizers. Nice lunch menu that is really cheap and gives a lot of food. Very clean place and very friendly staff.

Greek Treat

By TerryClark |

Although operating at difference locations for the past several years, the new store on North Durango provides another great selection in the Centennial Hills area of Las Vegas. Owners Joe & Rhonda serve up a very pleasant mix of service and food offerings that will make a guest enjoy lunch or dinner at this restaurant. Open entering for the first time, you are guided down menu boards to the register to place your order (a little akward). You are preseneted a table number and service arrives immediately after you sit down. The decor is Med and very attractive and clean. Their menu is well designed with a variety of selection of Greek/Med. They promote their signature entrees, salads and desserts. The pricing is good, and the quality of the food is outstanding.

Such a DISAPPOINTMENT

By Michael K |

We visited the sister restaurant last year and thought it was out of this World. So on our latest visit to Las Vegas we decided to hit the other restaurant owned by Joe and Rhonda. Wow, what a huge disappointment. Why? Here goes. We ordered the Tzaziki with pita and it was excellent. The dolmas were good as was my wife's Greek salad. And then it went downhill fast. My wife ordered the large portion of Spanikopita and I got the Trio (Spanikopita, Pastitsio and Mousaka). Our Spanikopita was not fresh in the least. Phyllo is supposed to be light, airy and crisp. This was not any of those. Clearly it was made the day before. My wife sent it back and ordered Eggplant Parmesan instead. Oh my, it came out burnt around the edges as if it was made earlier and then reheated on the grill. It did not taste anything like a good eggplant parmesan should. On top of that, my rice was clearly old. Not fluffy as rice should be but lifeless and unappealing. Though the manager comped us most of our meal this was one of the most disappointing meals we have ever eaten. Maybe if Joe and/or Rhonda were around to insure the food quality this wouldn't happen. If things remain true to our experience then this eatery will be gone by Spring 2019. If the owner(s) isn't there, RUN AWAY.

Amazing cuisine, fabulous service

By Matt D |

Highly recommend. Food is amazing. Brittany S is a shining personality. Excellent service!!! I love the Greek/Italian blended menu. Try the tea.

A very nice surprise

By Lou B |

Working here in Vegas we stumbled onto this great Greek resturant. Service was great, owner came out to say hi! Food was very very good. I can't wait to return to try more of their food.

Great clean food!

By xaviya3 |

I absolutely love this restaurant. All of the staff were very pleasant, warm, attentive, and inviting! The atmosphere was great! And the food is phenominal... the prices are very reasonable and the quality and quantity of food is spot on. This is a great place for families, couples, coworkers lunch, or even a business dinner! Everything is served from salads to soups, to sandwiches, to great meals and tantalizing desserts! You can order ala cart, or shareable platters... they even have amazing takeout service.

good greek food

not gourmet but very good greek food. Good service. i like the pomegranate chicken salad and soups. The desserts are very good.

Best Greek Food and Cheesecake in Vegas!

By Monica B |

While out in Northwest Las Vegas shopping I stumbled upon this wonderful place. The name is a bit misleading as it is all Greek with some Italian fare. We walked in and the atmosphere was inviting and homey. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. After we were seated our server asked if we had ever eaten there before and we said no, this prompted her to explain the menu, highlight some of her favorites and tell us a bit about the family owned business. We tried the greek trio entree and the chicken kebabs, everything was amazing. It was refreshing to be able to taste the fact that everything was homemade and fresh. After dinner, we reviewed the dessert menu and saw that their cheesecake was award winning. Although I am not typically a big fan of cheesecake, we decided to try it anyway. Oh boy was I glad we did! The cheesecake is homemade with a baklava crust, genius right? The filling wasn't too sweet and the mix of the spices in the baklava crust and the creamy filling were to die for. Overall, service was amazing, the food was wonderful and dessert was out of this world.

Lunch

By Jenna |

Love the food here. One of our favorite regular weekend spots. I recommend the beef tenderloin and the hummus & tabbouleh with pita. Great service, sometimes I forget the name of salad I usually order but the various servers always remember us and know our order when they seat us.

Very good - small

By EIIen |

We went to the one at Centennial Center and it was packed with people, they were doing a roaring takeout business, Very good humus, grape leaves, tabboulh, home made pita bread.

good food in a nice casual atmosphere

By vegas rocks |

they have good soup, salads and best pommegranite chicken. Deserts are good and everything is homemade. Reasonable prices.

Fantastic Food

By Michele C |

A little out of the way when staying on the strip, but worth the trip for a relaxing, great tasting authentic Greek Dinner. Will definitely go again if we find ourselves back in Las Vegas.

My wife and I eat here all the time! They always have the freshest food and the service is always on point! The offer pick up/take out options as well as dine in. I recommend the gyro sandwich meal with an order of Platos Potatoes!

Reason in Itself to Visit Vegas

By nowakklmt |

Had to wait for it to open at noon on Sunday, but SO WORTH IT! We had lunch at the Centennial Hills (Durango) location. Restaurant is very clean with glassed in kitchen so you can see food being prepared if you wish. The menu has everything you would expect to find in a Greek restaurant which also means numerous vegetarian and gluten free options. We started with Hummus trio - hands down, best hummus I've had - all three options were flavorful and delicious, and with only 2 of us, there was plenty to take home. Next was the Greek Salad - just wonderful with fresh ingredients and tasty dressing. We both ordered Lamb Souvlaki (one of my favorite dishes) which was tender and delightful - not a bite wasted. I had basmati rice, perfectly cooked and my dining partner had platos potatoes which she said were delicious. I will make a point at eating here whenever I am in Las Vegas...next time I need to leave room for the gorgeous desserts available!

Best Homemade Mediterrean Cuisine

By lih |

There are 2 locations of this delicious dining venue. I used go to the one on Lake Mead but on Mother's Day we went to their new location by Centennial Hospital on Town Center. The service was a tad slow but it was packed and Mother's Day. The food was incredible. Gyros are fresh and juicy with a choice of a greek salad and homemade hummus with pita slices. The kabobs are spiced just right served over a bed of yummy rice pilaf. This location offers sit down dinining with wait servce. Each Mom received a beautiful carnation, nice touch!

Ok, not great

By 954billh954 |

My wife and I have visited several time with great experiences however this time the food was good lacking. I had a craving for Gyros my wife decided to have the combination plate. The Gyros were good not enough meat and way overstuffed with vegies which in the past was quite the opposite. The combo plate my wife had was well presented however she did not like the taste of anything but the rice (she has ordered this many times in the past). I tried each item and tend to agree with here. Under spiced and somewhat bland. I will give it another try but it defiantly was not the same.

Very Disappointed

By TibetVisitor |

Our daughter likes this place a lot. So my wife and I went there because we could not decide where to have lunch. I was very very disappointed. I had the Lamb Roast Cabernet. It did not tasted anything like lamb. More like tough shredded beef. I know my lamb because I eat a lot of lamb and goat, and even cook them too. The Cabernet mushroom sauce was salty. My wife had Grilled Skewers of Filet Tenderloin, the beef was tender. Service was pleasant. But will not return when we want Greek food.

A must stop if you love Greek food

By kimberlees6 |

The food fas absolutely wonderful. My husband loved the Pomegranate chicken. I enjoyed the chicken and beef skewers. We loved the appetizers as well. Great staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely make it back here on our next trip. The live music on Saturday was very enjoyable as well.

Fresh & Flavorful Again & Again. I try to eat here at least once per week.

By Rich807 |

Traditional Gyro with Dill Sauce for the win. Lunch special is $8.50 with a drink 7-days a week. Awesome! I try to eat here at least once per week.

Great Family-Owned Restaurant

By Highnote1LV |

The food, service, and ambiance are all excellent. There is something for everyone on their menu. I also like and appreciate that they hire younger servers, as young people have a more difficult time finding work these days.

Best Dinner

By Julie W |

My favorite place to eat!! My family loves coming here for lunch or dinner. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and it's all homemade.

Great food

By Steve B |

Always have a good experience here. Food is excellent and the service is decent. Don't miss the Apollo cheesecake. It's the best.

Wonderful Family Restaurant

By vacationtime12389 |

My husband and I live in this area of Las Vegas and have eaten here several times and will continue to do so. This is a casual restaurant with a great menu and fresh food. They have a friendly staff with good service. My husband's favorite is the Pomegranate chicken which I like too and highly recommend. I also like their hummus and pita, cucumber sauce and my favorite is theVasilios Platter / Gyro plate. The prices are reasonable and we are lucky to have such a fine local restaurant. If you are looking for a new restaurant to try, stop in or if you prefer they also have a "to-go" service.

Another Place Where Locals Eat

By Kathy C |

This restaurant is family owned and operated. The service and food reflects pride in management. The pomegranate chicken is unusual and wonderful. The desserts are homemade. The cookies and pumpkin cheese cake are spectacular. They have a larger room to accommodate a banquet and are very easy to coordinate with. The restaurant is nicely decorated. They have a lunch special .

Great gyro away from the casinos!

By silinx |

Swung by this place for a quick work lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality gyro I had. I can totally understand why this place is repeatedly voted best Greek Restaurant in Las Vegas.

Good food

By nvtriker |

I have stopped in here twice so far. First time was solo it was so good I had to bring my wife back the next week.

Gryos to go

By Tomwaite |

It had been a while since we had great gyros, and had memories of amazing gyros in Chicago. So we called in an order to the Market Grille Cafe "taste of mediterranean" and were eager get home and enjoy our gyros. Sadly they seemed mostly bread and dry, skimpy on sauce, and disappointing in taste. Seems like the Market Grille is cutting back on quality.

Just OK

By shiba-fan |

Thought it was just OK. Had hummus, which was very liquidy. Avgolemono soup, which had celery in it - I'm Greek, and have not had this soup with celery in it before. It was not bad, just different than any version I've ever had. Chicken skewer a la carte (which came with rice and a veggie skewer as well). There was nothing outstanding, or particularly bad about the food. It was just ordinary. Only thing I disliked was the hummus, which was too runny. Like the consistency of salsa. Maybe this was just an issue that day though.

SAFE GLUTEN FREE TO GO!!!

By CaliforniaDreaming69 |

We had just moved to northwest Las Vegas and were looking for gluten free food to go, as our kitchen was still packed in boxes, when we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem close to home. We have ordered food to go several times and have not been disappointed. Gluten free pastas and salads are safe and the staff is very knowledgeable. Past Giovanni and Past Angelo are my favorite. Warning, they are a little greasy, BUT, cream pasta sauces usually are. This does NOT take away from the dish at all. These dishes even warm up nicely in the microwave the next day. My husband gets the lamb gyros (NOT GF!) and he likes them. The salad dressing is a little bland, but you can order it on the side and add you own GF dressing at home. This is our go to place on busy nights when we don't want to cook!

Great greek food

By Raj P |

The place is unassuming with order counter and sit down. Moussaka, pasta pie had great flavor. Spinakopia was good too. Baklava was good but very rich and sweet for my taste. It needed to be eaten with vanilla ice cream or something to tone down the sweetness. The service was very good.

DISGUSTING

By Sherry W |

I do not recommend this place. It use to be great about a year ago but it has totally went down hill..Be sure and read the other negative reviews it speaks for itself .Betty is a horrible manager and only cares about the money for the owner and nothing else.Save your money and run fast !!!!!

mediterranean food

By vicmari2016 |

I had a good mediterranean pizza and red wine for dinner at this place... I would love to back and try different type of dish they have.

Food was OK, service ...

By I_Am_Methodical |

We went there because of rave reviews. And, it was a mistake. When we stepped in, we were greeted by a overly-friendly female manager (Maria?) who almost turned us away. When we told you we knew Greek food, ma'am, you needed to stop explaining to us the menu. Seating was not very comfortable, and despite the decor tried to look Mediterranean, the vibe was not! A male server came but disappeared and the manager appeared again :-( The food came fast, but it was mediocre. I graded it based on the fact that I could make it better than you, then you failed to impress me. Just once, and it's done.

Glad it's Nearby

By usagirl |

Hurrah! A non-chain restaurant with nice food and staff not far from the house. Highlights were a cheese starter flamed at the table and served with warm pita for dipping, and the lemon chicken soup which I plan on getting as take out and presenting it as my own culinary effort.

Lunch

By Missplummer83 |

I love this restaurant. It’s down the street from my house. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I really like it. The pomegranate chicken salad is my favorite. I also like the pomegranate chicken and basmati rice. The blackberry jasmine tea is really good. The hummus and pita bread is good and so are the chicken gyros. The Aphrodite’s cheesecake is amazing. I haven’t had one thing that I don’t like here.

Really good local place, food is delicious

By Lesa K |

I really like this place, and like the new location even better. (closer to our house) The food is really good, you have to try the saganaki and the grape leaves.

Great food, great service for a Great price

By TreyTomsik |

Excellent Greek food with a nice atmosphere that is very inexpensive for how good the food is compared to any other place that is the same price. Worth trying!

Excellent mealtime enjoyment...

By Machelle |

This is the second time we have been here. The pasta Stephano so far is our favorite. It has a nice light, but flavorful taste. We tried the pomegranate chicken which had an interesting flavor but not something we would order again. The Greek meatballs were very tasty but does have a strong seasoned flavor and not for those that prefer a lighter taste. The tiramisu cheese cake is a must splurge every time! Definitely worth making this one a favorite choice for lunch or dinner.

Great Greek Food!

By jjarvis |

Solid 4 star stuff here, love the greek, not the best I ever had, but damn its so close I do it often due to convenience and service, price is good, not cheap, but thats why its better than a 3 star cheap gyro place, its got the specialties, like rolled grape leaves, the grilled meats, and cucumber sauces...get some...yum yum , get in my tum tum...mmmmm....licking chops thinking about it....slurp! solid

Great service great food.

By Kyle's Vacations Travel Club |

Today, my family and I enjoyed a Mother's day with my Mother at the Durango Cafe. WOW!!! such nice people and great food. The servings were a good size and the taste was wonderful. We had to force space for the dessert. This place should be in a hotel. You will love this place if you are in the North west part of the valley.

Good salads

By vegas rocks |

I love the pomegranate. It is marinated so well, is so tasty and healthy. chicken salad. The baklava is good also.

Quality food turned me into a loylal customer.

By Jeremy T |

The food is always fresh and consistently delicious. I have taken out food from here many times for dinner and will continue to do so. These guys really put a lot of heart into their food and the taste proves it. I've always had a great experience here.

Sustained Great Food & Service

By Rich807 |

Cannot go wrong here. Family run in a nice roomy & modern building. The Aromas when you walk in here are awesome. Been here 1/2 dozen times & same great experience each & every time.

Excellent Food and Great Services

By HelloMaryAnne |

We dined at the Market Grille for a later Sunday lunch. The restaurant is great! We were impressed with the ambiance, the meals and our server. We will surely visit again on our trip to Las Vegas.

Relaxing lunch

By Tomwaite |

We stopped by for a quick lunch and enjoyed a nicely priced lunch of hummus, tabouli, and a veggie pizza. It was so outstanding we can't wait to go back. The veggie pizza was great. The tastes and service was so fantastic, and the price was so just right. what a great relaxing lunch.

Delicious!

By Snipperton |

I ordered the steak tenderloin and lamb skewers and they were so TASTY! When you order an entree, they give you a skewer of veggies and peaches. I requested a skewer of just peaches. It was sorta weird, but still tasted good. I ordered the Greek wine, which tasted like it had been open for while. I ordered cookies for dessert and they were also good. The waitress was nice and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!

Greek food at good prices

By ap1220 |

Market Grille Cafe is a welcoming restaurant. From the outside, it looks simple yet elegant. Once you’re on the inside, the sound of Italian and Greek music welcomes you accompanied by a delightful aroma making its way out from the kitchen. The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you have from the menu, as long as it doesn’t have to do with the secret family recipes. The décor makes you feel like you could be somewhere in the Mediterranean. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are appropriate. It feels authentic and tastes delicious. This was my first time having Greek food, and I was not disappointed.

Flavorful, fresh and guilt_free offerings!

By Delois J |

Highlight: Great food! Very friendly, hospitable atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, including restrooms. Priced right. We chose to dine on the patio. Very nice.

A Taste of Mediterranean

Having eaten at the Market Grille Cafe a number of times, I can say that the food is always tasty, reasonable and the menu offers enough variety to please all in your party. An evening out with friends won't cost you a fortune either.

We were just in Greece in September and fell in love with Greek food...decided to try Market Grill Cafe this evening and we're extremely happy with the food and service. Everything was marvelous and "Chaysie" our server was fabulous...we will be back really soon !!!!

Smells SO GOOD Walking In!!

By Noodles913 |

I came here with my local friend who said that the food served here was pretty good. We arrived on a Saturday night and surprisingly, it was not too crowded so we were seated right away. I loved the smell when I walked in; the aromas of all of the different kinds of foods cooking made me hungrier than I already was. The two servers were very friendly and attentive. I ordered an appetizer of Tzatziki & Pita bread slices and the chicken & veggie kabobs with the rice & salad for dinner. Everything was cooked to order and served promptly. The Tzatziki was VERY tasty! Not too strong and not too bland. The salad and dressing were also tasty. The chicken and veggie skewers were flavorful without being too dry. I scraped the chicken and veggies off of each skewer and mixed them all together in with my rice. YUM! I wish I would have saved room for dessert...everything looked and smelled delicious, but I just had NO room in my tummy for it after that wonderful meal. Next time I'll go back just for some coffee and dessert.

Great lunch specials

By kencatron |

This is just a great place to eat! Great tasting food and good sized portions. We ate here for lunch and enjoyed their lunch special - a gyro, salad, and drink for less than $10! Portions are large and the food was delicious! A place we will frequent often!

Can't wait to go back!

By JayE99 |

I'm not a Vegas local, but I'm there once or twice a year to visit family and this is the one place I always have to go. The food is incredible and the service is excellent. They will go out of their way to make items that were once on the menu, but have been removed if you're willing to wait. I love the traditional gyro with dill sauce and the pomegranate chicken (I usually visit twice so I can enjoy each). Both locations are a fair way off strip, which is unfortunate, but it makes them a nice and quiet alternative to the madness. There's a reason this place is repeatedly voted best in Vegas.

The best Mediterranean food in Las Vegas

By julius l f |

Growing up as a kid in an large Italian family rarely eating out and never for Italian…food was life, food was tradition, food was family! Today 40 years later I still carry that culinary passion for cooking traditional southern Italian cuisine, and while I do experiment somewhat with Mediterranean cuisine it takes a lot to meet my expectations. And that’s exactly what this quaint family owned restaurant did. Just 16m north from the Las Vegas strip lies a traditional Mediterranean restaurant that will inspire your senses! From the moment you enter you’ll feel and smell the ambiance of a traditional family ristorante in Italy, or Greece. Alas I’ve been back dozens of times and tried virtually everything on the menu, and not once was I disappointed! Joe Jr. and Christine Pierro are the young owners and with a their highly skilled team treat you like family, starting with Nonna Rose seating your party. For almost 20 years Chef de cuisine Joe Jr has been the mastermind behind their cuisine! His culinary skills are old world traditional, with a passion for reinvention of new “specialties” He brings an ability to maximize an ingredient and the flavor of that raw ingredient! As great chefs do he makes edits on the plate but knows when to say stop! He knows instinctively when to finish a dish, and to avoid all the endless nonsense that have zero relevance! He knows perfection, and his long tenured team crush it, day in and day out. Everything is made fresh in house, and it’s very hard to choose my favorites but here goes! #1 Fire Grilled Lamb chops- ($28) it will blow you away! Served over mashed potatoes and spinach…it’s as good or better than any high end vegas strip restaurants at 2x the cost! His chops are rich, earthy, and robust, always tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned to preserve the unique flavor of lamb! Pomegranate chicken ($22) is a signature dish, with the boneless chicken breast marinated 24hrs in his secret marinade…dam! Pasta Angelo ($16) is fusilli pasta sauté with tarragon spinach mushrooms in a lemon butter cream sauce, perfezione! White Fish Scaloppini ($23) served with orzo pasta sautéed in lemon butter and cappers. “Greek Trio” ($23) covers 3 renown Greek dishes done with traditional family recipes that date back 100 years and it makes Greek food connoisseurs smile with pride! As an appetizer you must get the flaming Saganaki ($15) Greek (Brie) cheese simmered in brandy and lemon. Oh, let’s not forget their Italian marinara sauces which are top notch, pleasing even the toughest critics! Deserts well, they are as good as it gets, from scratch daily! My fav is his signature…tiramisu cheesecake ($10.5) to die for! And let’s not forget that baklava ($9) They have a some great choices for wine and local beers, and make a beautiful cappuccino or espresso. If you want healthy, moderately priced, 5Star Greek and Italian food without the long lines/waits try MGC one time and you will understand how they got over a 2,000+ 5 star reviews on yelp and google! Mangiano 👍👍

Great food

By Roseann P |

Delish falafel. Had the Vesuvius ? Platter. Really terrific gyros. Waitress Kate outstanding. Would definitely return. Would love these chains in Midwest

Delicious!!

By Cbethlynn |

Excellent food! I had the Greek trio so I could try multiple flavors and everything served was amazing. I also recommend the sangria and the hummus appetizer. Service was great - they skillfully accommodated our 17 party business meeting.

One of the Servers Had a Bad Day, Everything Else A-OK

By ELHyman |

The food and pricing were outstanding. The service started out great, but our waitress switched out with someone else and this one was rough around the edges. She gave the impression of having a bad day and was taking it out on us. She started out on the brink of being antagonistic, but lightened up as the meal went on. Good thing, because otherwise this review would have taken a turn for the worse.

Very good food, great service

By Trooperr |

While visiting LV we were looking for a healthy option for lunch and came upon this place. Not knowing anything about it we ventured in. Our waiter was excellent and he guided us thru the menu and filled us in on his favorites. We are big fans of this type of cuisine and found this restaurant's food to be excellent.

Try their Saganaki!👍🏼

By Momwithexpectations |

Market Grille Cafe is definitely a favorite on my list. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. If you ever visit, make sure to order the Saganaki (flaming cheese with pita bread bites) it is spectacular. Sometimes my hubby and I stop by just for that... However, all their menu selections are excellent. Highly recommended!

Delicious, authentic and affordable Greek food!!!

By jnvegasfoodie |

Went here based on The Best of Vegas reviews and it was soooo worth it. It is in a little strip mall on Lake Mead just off I-95 in the summerlin area. You order your food up at the counter and they bring it out to your table when its ready. They have a huge menu of authentic greek dishes, gyros and awesome desserts. I got the traditional gyro platter which came with a greek salad, basmatti rice and hummus with pitta bread and the gyro of course. All of mine was amazing. Great flavor on the gyro meat and the dill satziki sauce was killer. Next time I go I will get extra dill sauce for sure. My boyfriend got the papous' pasta and it was also amazing. We also got the Aphrodite's cheesecake which was to die for. Its cheesecake with a baklava crust and a must! Its family owned and operated and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Its authentic, amazingly tasty and very affordable. I will be back to try more soon!!!!

Nice Lunch

By MissEze |

Atmosphere and service are nice. Food is okay. I may have had an off day but the food didn't wow me at all. I will try it again. I'm hoping it was just me I'd love to love this place. Also, they have 2 locations.

Excellent food

By Renee B |

This place was recommended by a dear friend. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. I had the pomegranate chicken. The humus is excellent. Served with fresh baked pita bread.

Casual Mediterranean With Terrific Menu

By Badger Traveler |

My relatives who live near here took me to lunch here. I love mediterranean food so they surprised me. It was a great choice. The interior was attractive, open, and airy. Everyone ordered something different and everyone had a great meal. We shared the giant Tiramasu Cheesecake which was spectacular.

First and Last Visit

By Craig F |

First let me say that the staff here are first rate and know their menu. I am not sure how they got all the best in Vegas awards as we were very disappointed in our food. My wife has been after me to take her to this location for dinner so tonight I took here. We ordered humus, babganous, grape leaf's, the recommended pomogranite chicken salad, and a small bowl of lentil soup. The humus was the consistency of a melted malted, the babaganous looked like refried beans before you cook them, the grape leaf's were huge about 2" diameter (they were tasty just way to large), the lentil soup was excellent, and the spinach salad with pomogranet chicken was interesting to say the least, I thought the chicken was a bit rubbery to my taste and did not look fully cooked. Now you are probably wondering why I did not say anything well one word my wife. I would have sent them back to the kitchen but she asked me not to say anything. We are new in this neighborhood, and there are other places she would like to try. They even give first time visitors a discount card for your next visit, you guessed it I was not allowed to leave the card on the table. Lesson learned no matter how many Best of Vegas awards does not make you a great place to eat.

27th birthday with my big, Greek family!

By Jessica K |

My only complaint is the service could have been better. The staff was unattentive and on the dismissive, even rude side. However, the food is wonderful! Absolutely excellent! The portions are large and the price is reasonable. The dolmades are some of the best I have ever eaten! Unfortunately I don't live in Nevada or I would eat here much more regularly. I highly recommend this restaurant! Seriously the food is superb!

Great Greek Food at reasonable prices

By juliepsheridan |

I frequent this restaurant frequently. The Greek food is very good, service is great, and it won't break the bank. Beer and wine is served also in a nice atmosphere. Try the lunch specials that are discounted prices on the regular menu. Outside seating is available.

Best Baklava around

By Jenniferhlv H |

Great price and food is fantastic. I recommend the chicken Skewers and you have to try the Baklava. Its a beautiful environment, great place for a first date or a family get together.

Good Food & Low Noise Level

By MarcieBCA |

Friends who live in the area took us here for dinner. We did not have a reservation, but were promptly seated. They ordered a hot cheese appetizer that we all enjoyed sharing with soft, warm pita bread. (Loved the bread!) Those of us with entree's had a lovely small Greek salad before the meal (which came out a bit before we were done, but we managed). My lamb kabob served with a vegetable kabob & rice was very good. The chicken pomegranate & beef roast dish also got good reviews. The chicken pomegranate salad was enjoyed too. The cannoli dessert comes in pairs, so sharing it was perfect. When we finished, about 9 p.m., it was surprising the the restaurant was almost empty. Guess people have things to do at night other than have dinner.

Great Gyros!

By cdub702 |

Both locations of Market Grille Cafe are great for family dinners or a quick business lunch. The gyros are great and for the price you never walk out hungry. The Plato's fries are a good side dish regardless of the entree ordered. The owner, Joe Pierro, runs these great eateries and he's enjoyed growth in Las Vegas by providing great Mediterranean food at affordable prices. His staff in both locations are very knowledgeable and friendly. Give either location of Market Grille Cafe a try, you won't be disappointed!

Great Greek Food, Fast Service High Quality

By john m |

I have dined at the Market Grille Cafe numerous times...both take out and sit down. I especially enjoy the mousakka, pastichio, gyro pizza and the pomegranate chicken. The pom chicken is especially tasty moist and sweet. One thing I dont care for are their potatoes/french fries/ i have tried them a few times SIMPLY TOO TOO SALTY. I do enjoy greek food and this is a great place to enjoy it. The service is always very fast and always very pleasant.

Lunch date with my husband

By guccibaby01 |

This place had great service and phenomenal food. I'm so glad we went to try it. I love the Greek and Italian fusion. Everything is home made. Family owned. Definitely reccomend!

The best!

By meganerbele |

My favorite place to eat in Centennial Hills! You can't visit without trying the saganaki. Cheese and fire? What could be better? Mamma Mia's chicken and the gyros are my favorites.

Fantastic Greek Food!

By JaneTucson |

We ate here with our family, who live in Vegas, and it was our first time. Our kids had eaten here before and recommended we all try it. It was a great choice! My husband had spaghetti and meat balls and said it was delicious. Whatever the others ordered they loved. I had wanted their soup, but they were still making it so I went with their Greek Salad and it was the best! Everything was chopped up so fine and the dressing was extra special. Our server was Cassandra, who was friendly, smiling, laughing and took great care of us. She really added to our fun. My hubby and I shared the rice pudding that was so creamy and so good!! We can't wait to return to Vegas and go back to the Market Grill Caffe! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE STAFF AND MANAGER FOR A TERRIFIC RESTAURANT.

Delicious!

By msamtravel |

We just happened to see an advertisement for this restaurant and thought to give it a try. We were also happily surprised! Everyone was very nice, the food was great and fast! We definitely recommend this restaurant as we are also planning to go back again!

I was denied lunch pricing

By Chris S |

I went to Market Grill Cafe for the first time after picking up the kids from school. I expected more of a casual dining place but it was more of a traditional restaurant. I was handed a menu. When i asked if they had a lunch menu i was told lunch ended at 3. I pointedly looked at my phone it was 3 o clock even. Lunch is 1 to 3. I ended up paying almost twice as much for HALF the food. The food came fast (traditional Gyro) and tasted good. The Pita bread tasted especially fresh. I may be back but at the lake mead location for lunch. Would have bern a four star review if i was not denied the lunch menu. $20 for a gyro w no sides and a soda is more then I would have paid at most other (non tourist) places.

Great Lunch, great service, nice atmosphere

By trvelor |

Hubby and I ate lunch here will visiting north Las Vegas. If we lived here, I could easily see this becoming they type of place we would go every Friday night or such. I had a greek salad - very large, with the pomegranate chicken (one of their specialities), and loved it. hubby had the greek sampler, which was three different greek entries with rice. All were good. Service was very good, and prices were reasonable too. Would recommend this restaurant for a lunch or dinner out.

Great Mediterranean restaurant

By juliepsheridan |

I just moved to Vegas and was told that the Market Grille Café is a great gluten free or regular Mediterranean restaurant. It was truly a great experience. The gluten free flaming cheese is served with fresh cucumber slices and is outstanding. Most of the regular items on the extensive menu can be served gluten free. The pomagranet chicken breast is great along with the chicken greek salads. Nice atmosphere and bear and wine is also served. I have visited twice now and love it. Give it a try.

Service was good...

By Iambarbaraj |

As a New Yorker who has had Greek food, my hopes were too high! I ordered a lamb gyro and boy was I disappointed. I don't know what that was. I didn't taste the lamb flavor and the yogurt sauce was even more unimpressive. The waitress was very nice but I won't try this place again.

GREEK AND ITALIAN CHOICES !

By 123sealady123 |

This restaurant is a jewel! The food is fresh and delicious and the treated us like family! Authentic Greek and Italian meals because that is the owners' background... The portions were generous. I can't wait to go back !

Consistently good - love this place

By Cwpappa |

We eat at this restaurant frequently. This is not a chain but a family-owned business in town for many years. The food and service has always been excellent for us. This restaurant is also wonderful with accommodating gluten (and other) allergies. Prices are also reasonable.

Probably not my type of food

By tom k |

we had the sampler and it just isn't my type I admit. It was well presented. Our main entrees were OK just nothing to go back for. If I went back I would get gyro's or a wrap as they looked good and more my style. The waitress was EXCELLENT. She knew the menu inside and out. It is a nice place and if you enjoy this typeof flavor then try it for sure.

Good Local Greek Food

By Mary P |

My husband has ordered large meals for work and everyone liked the food so we decided to try it for lunch. Our waiter was very nice, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband had a Gyro and he really enjoyed it. It was very large, the meat was tender and it came with a salad and a lot of rice. I had the Mediterranean Wrap. It was huge, so I took half of it home. It was full of chicken and salad and the yogurt dill sauce was delicious. I didn't care for the mint salad dressing. Good service and good food close to home.

Favorite place for Mediterranean

By Josh B. |

I’ve been coming to Market Grill now for 5 years and what can I say it’s one of my favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. It’s family owned and the service is always impeccable. Try the Pasta Angelo with chicken, you won’t be disappointed!

Another great meal!

By Appaloosagirl57 |

Love this restaurant. Go there every time I'm in town. The gluten free pasta is excellent. My husband loved the gyro. Says it's the best he's ever had.

Good Greek Food

By Calitraveler50 |

I ordered a Gyros sandwich with basmati rice, and an extra order of falafel on the side. The food was very good, and the customer service was excellent. The lunch hour was extremely busy and crowded, so I chose carry-out. I plan to visit their other location on Lake Mead Boulevard.

Great food. . . . . But

By Tomwaite |

Great food. . . . . But you need to improve your Covid 19 takeout procedures. . . . Immediately. I just place and picked up an order and was shocked you did not have better protocols for pickup and payment. FYI - I will not be back - even though your food is great - until you improve your pickup procedures. Rather than spacing folks out and calling them forward to either place order or pick up and order, you guys had everyone gathering and congregating at the cashier. How stupid is that??? I would love to support you but you better get smart on how you manage and handle take out orders.

Wow!

By k_bates_92 |

Just moved to this side of town and opted to try this adorable restaurant! We had an excellent meal - the ambiance, service, and food were all "on-point." You can tell everyone takes pride in their work and the food they serve. I ordered the Pomegranate Chicken - their signature dish. The chicken fell apart with my fork alone and the rice was super tasty. I highly recommend this place for both flavor and value - you get a lot for you dollar here!

The best in Vegas!!!

One of our first go-to restaurants when we moved here.

By Maryann S |

We moved to Las Vegas from NYC in March. One of our first great discoveries was Market Grille. In the months we've lived here, we've gone back several times and have brought our family and friends there. The food is consistently good and we've never been disappointed. Highly recommend this family friendly well priced bistro

Sub Par Food and dishonest Server

By Victoria J |

een going to the Market Grill Cafe for the last 4 years. I frequent their restaurant at least twice a week and 2 times a month on a weekend evening. The last 3 times i have had to send my food back, It is very frustrating to wait on my food when the everyone is eating and they have to then wait on me. I have asked mgmt if they have new cooks and they replied "no we are just busy". The food is also sub par, the hummus is thin and the dolmas are dry and hard to eat. Yesterday my bill came to $54.00, I put a $100.00 in the check folder and then left to do some quick grocery shopping at Smiths Grocery in the same parking lot. I immediately realized I had not left a tip. I returned within 30 minutes to ask the girl for the check folder back and she denied I had left the $44.00 dollars. So basically they stole $44.00 of my money. I would of a left a very generous holiday tip but not $44.00. Mgmt was no help. They called the owner who also was no help. He basically didn't believe me. Is this the way to treat a patron who has continually spent around $250.00 a month over $44.00? This place has sub par food, a dishonest waitress and a restaurant that treats you this poorly. I told the owner I was going to write this review and he told me to go ahead and hung up on me,

Awesome restaurant!

By sctnjwt |

We think this is one of the best restaurants in NW Las Vegas! The staff members are friendly and efficient, the food is consistently tasty, and the atmosphere is both fun and comfortable.

Great Food in Northwestern Las Vegas

By RMG4369 |

After a event-filled day, our family decided to order some take-out for dinner. We've tried all the usual cuisines and were pleased to find the Market Grille Café on N. Durango Road in Centennial Hills. It was a great choice. Food was ordered over the phone and ready in about 20 minutes for pick up. There was adequate parking for pick up customers and the station inside was well-run by a cheery, helpful young lady. The restaurant is open, clean and family friendly. The smells coming from the kitchen made you hungry. The meals were well-packaged for transport and each was a large portion, even the salads which were meals in themselves. We ordered two pasta selections and 2 large salads: (1) Pasta Giovanni (Fusilli pasta sautéed with tomatoes and nut-free, spinach-basil and parmesan pesto and served with chicken; Baked Ziti) (Fusilli pasta w/ marinara sauce, ricotta, & mozzarella cheese and meat sauce -- the melted ricotta cheese makes this dish special); a Greek salad and a fresh spinach salad with feta cheese. An order of pita bread slices was included. You get your money's worth at this restaurant. The food was fantastic: a fusion of Greek and Italian cuisines. I recommend this restaurant highly for eating in or for take-out. I look forward to trying other dishes on my return to the area.

Fresh, Healthy and Delicious!!

By VegasBling |

Enjoyed lunch at the Market Grille Café, one of two locations in Las Vegas. The restaurant was voted Best of Las Vegas for 2009, 2010, and 2011. In October, 2011, they will be relocating to a new location at Elkhorn and Durango. At that time they will have new hours, be open on Sunday, and have a banquet facility. They will be located inside the former Chili’s Restaurant in the Smith’s Montecito Center. The restaurant has a very large selection of food. Monday – Friday there are lunch specials which includes a main meal item plus beverage for $7.50. Lunch specials are available from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The restaurant has a Frequent Diner Card, has Gluten Free Menu Items, Vegetarian Dishes, and Vegan selections. Catering is also available. Samples of the homemade soups are available and include lentil, pumpkin-mushroom, gyro stew, and a traditional creamy lemon, chicken and rice soup. Homemade Greek Food selections include marinated and grilled skewers, salads, soups, gyros, wraps, pizzas, and homemade desserts. These include cheesecake with a baklava crust, pumpkin baklava cheesecake, Yia Yia’s Cookies, baklava, rice pudding (gluten free) and canola. I was impressed with the restaurant’s décor, fast service and quality of food. I recommend eating at the Market Grille Café. In comparison to other gyro type restaurants, Market Grille Café serves fresh and healthy foods that appeal to everyone.

Never disappoints

By roma2srs |

We have been to both of the Market Grill Cafe's and they are consistently good. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. My husband and I both ordered the lamb skewers which came with a greek salad, the lamb skewer, a vegetable skewer, rice, hummus and pita bread. The menu said the vegetable skewer consisted of peppers, onions and mushrooms yet when our dinners were brought the skewers were with tomatoes and onions. When I asked for the skewer as described on the menu they did accommodate us but the manager said that was not the description on the menu. He came back shortly to tell me that I was right and he was wrong. They are in the process of printing a new menu which will have different veggie skewers for the lamb than all the other skewers. The waiter did not ask how we wanted the lamb prepared and it was a little overcooked but otherwise everything was very good. When we go back I will have to remember to tell the waiter that I want it med. rare.

Saturday night rocks!

By lud2006 |

This restaurant is fun because of well trained and motivated staff. Menu is varied and on our third visit it was better than ever. Lived the mussaka and stuffed bell peppers. We need to sample more. See you there soon.

Excellent Mediterrean Food!

By SamFNV |

I've eaten here many times over the past two years and the food has always been excellent. Take out can get a bit backed up but worth the wait.

Disappointingly ordinary

By Ruth S |

I was excited to see this restaurant offers both a gluten-free menu and a vegan menu. Excitement ends there. The babaganoush was coarse and especially bland except for the overdose of lemon juice. However, the vegetable skewers were good and the gluten-free rice was also very good. My dining partner had the mousaka....did not enjoy it at all. Was very slow there for a Saturday night and maybe for good reason. Note: If you happen to be in southern California and are craving med dishes, try Darya's in Orange. Pricey but worth it - all dishes fresh and wonderful. Service impeccable. Entertainment on the weekends too.

Excellent Greek food at reasonable prices off the strip.

By NW_Gourmet |

The restaurant is small and in a shopping mall in NW Las Vegas. They have two locations and must do a lot of catering business to support the large and varied menu with such a small area. It's family owned and run and that is telling with the quality of the dishes.

Great fresh food

By lvnative_63 |

Have not eaten much Greek food over the years - but always enjoy eating here. Everything is super fresh and I have always enjoyed whatever I happen to pick from the menu.

Can't go wrong here!

By MarsWeiss |

This is my favorite place to eat in Vegas. It's a weekly visit for my husband and Me. All the employees are genuinely sweet and kind hearted. You will never get attitude from them. The pomegranate chicken entree is my absolute hands down favorite dish. I dream about that dish! But the truth is everything I have ordered has been amazing. From the pastas to the lamb it's allllllll mouth watering. If you want a weekly place that's fresh and clean food this is the spot!

Great Go-To Place

By RaNae W. |

I don't know where anything negative comes from during Covid. Everyone is doing the best they can. This place is doing terrific! I totally recommend Mamma Mias Chicken. Balsamic glaze, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, pistachios, etc. What a combo. Get it with Rice. Also great gyros with the most meat I have ever had from a Greek Restaurant.

Great food and service

By kingofthenorthlv |

My favorite here are the k-bobs and the lamb. Very flavorful food and a fun experience. Service was excellent and I liked everything I ordered. A little pricey but quantity and quality of food makes it worth the price.

Excellent First Time

By Cecil Jones |

My daughter and I flew into Vegas late, drove by the restaurant at 9:45 PM and decided to go in although they close at 10 PM. I know that last minute walk-ins are usually not welcome and menus become limited. Much to our surprise they were more than hospitable, made us feel completely at home and the entire menu was available to us. The food was exceptional. My daughter works in the entertainment industry in Hollywood and frequents upscale/trendy restaurants. She had the pomegranate chicken and loved it's delicate flavor. I had the traditional gyro with lamb and beef, and it was also excellent. We both shared an order of hummus with an exceptional pita bread. The waitress said they make everything fresh except the pita. Both my daughter and I anticipate returning to this gem when next in Vegas.

Great Fresh Food in Classy-Casual Atmosphere

By Rich807 |

Always smells great when walking in & I've never had anything that didn't look & taste fresh. Every time I make it here I recall its very underrated & I should be going here more often.

Excellent food and atmosphere

By Gisela S |

I ordered the original gyro and it was by far the best one I've eaten. Plenty of seasoned meat and lettuce on a nice pita. The best part is the seasoning wasn't salty as I've had in other Greek restaurants. Loved it. My husband ordered a sandwich and it was also good. Will try again!

Great food!

By Mathew W |

Great food and service. Family owned with amazing family recipes! Great price and nice sized portions. Nice outdoor seating is available!

Greek Food

By Cynthia D |

We enjoy going to this restaurant time to time. The owners are always friendly and the staff is good. We have used the take out window too. I would advise to call in advance for take out. We like the Gyro meat in salads and sandwich.

Absolutely fantastic!

By Lizzie B |

An extensive menu of freshly made Greek and Italian selections at reasonable prices persuaded me to invite three other family members to have dinner at the Market Grille Cafe. It was a terrific decision. First, I called ahead because one of my guests had a severe food allergy and I needed assurance that they could provide food that had no trace of that food. Talked to co-owner Joe who said yes, he would personally supervise her plate(s) to ensure no onions whatsoever. When we arrived, they had a table reserved for us and when we placed our order, we asked for Joe to "approve" my guest's choice as completely onion-free. He personally supervised her plate preparation. It was perfect. Meantime, the rest of us chose selections with the help of the knowledgeable server. Everything was DELICIOUS. Food was served promptly, presentation was excellent, server was efficient and helpful, friendly, professional and really made our evening fun. The Aphrodite Cheesecake for dessert was fantastic! Ambience was casual but upbeat--prices were fantastic, everything was freshly prepared. Truly a rare find in this day of chain restaurants and fast food joints. Highly recommended, especially if you like Greek food.

Hidden gem

By Andrew J |

We were on our way back into Las Vegas after a long day in Death Valley, and were desparate for both fuel and food. After filling the fuel tank on the car, we began exploring the nearby dining options. We wanted something more substantial than fast food, but we also really weren't interested in the chain restaurants we could just as easily visit at home. While the Market Grille Cafe, didn't immediately attract our attention, we ended up there when nothing else looked better to us. And we're glad we did! This is pretty clearly a family owned and operated business, and it shows in the quality of the food and the service. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was simply delicious. In addition to the menu, they have monitors that present a slide show of the various dishes, so you can see what the menu items look like, which is something I had never seen before. Our food arrived incredibly fast, and was excellent in flavor, presentation and portion sizes. It ended up being the perfect ending to our long day.

Like Dining on a Greek Isle

By lih |

This restaurant also has a second location on West Lake Mead at Rock Springs. My Mom and I had lunch there the other day. Her greek salad was fresh and delicious. I opted for the warm dolmades which were very yummy. We got there just before the noon rush which was good because after noon the place was packed. Don't forget the baklava cheese cake or you've missed the best dessert ever. Made fresh everyday. This is a family owned and operated dining venue which prides itself on serving the freshiest ingredients and homemade entrees. You place your order at the counter and then it is delivered to your table. So if your looking for table side service look elsewhere. If you are looking for great Greek cuisine, you've found it here.

Food is still absolutely Amazing

By Rich807 |

Been going here sporadically for a number of years & having gone again last night for dinner after not having been in there in months, I can say I was blown away at how awesome the food is all over again. We usually get the Gyro but wife & I went off script last night. I got the steak skewers & she got the Eggplant Parm & both dishes were flat OUTSTANDING. Who'd have thought getting Eggplant Parm at a Greek place would be 'to die for'? Absolutely fantastic. The value for your $ here is really good & for you .mil & veterans out there Market Grille still offers a military discount (thanks!).

Tasty Homemade Food

By A-Lucky-1 |

The two restaurants are locally owned. The other location is on Lake Mead near I-95. One night when we were there, the owner's mother was taking orders. She was very friendly. The staff is always friendly. They take customer service seriously. We go to the Tropical location about twice a month. The Pomegranate Chicken is my favorite. My husband loves the gyros. I've eaten most of the items on the menu and have not been dissatisfied with anything. The food is freshly made from family recipes. Good desserts too. This is not a typical Vegas restaurant. Go there and enjoy the food and the laid back atmosphere. You can check out the menu on their website. http://www.marketgrillecafe.com/ You won't be disappointed.

Great Greek Food!

By esims04 |

We just ate at the Lake Mead and 95 location and loved everything! The atmosphere and decorations are nice but still casual enough to wear jeans and flip flops. The service here was outstanding, very friendly people. We tried Keftedes (small tiny Greek meatballs) for the first time and they were delicious! Then we got our usual gyro and chicken skewers, and everything was fair pricing for the portions. My only tiny complaint is that the chicken was dry and that everything comes out at once. Still, not enough to detour us from this place! Their rice pudding is so good and everything really tastes homemade!

Great Service and Great Food

By Kelli F |

The place is very nice and clean. Chasey is my favorite server, I wouldn't want to have anyone else. She is very friendly, and makes sure we are doing good. I love her outgoing personality, and the way she treats us. I love this place! The food is amazing!!

Very good Mediterranean

By Hobogal |

Found this place for lunch one day around 11 am. and was happy I did. I ordered the Mousaka which came with a small salad and some rice. It was excellent and filling for a very good price. The service got off to a slow start for there not to be a crowd at that early time. It picked up and was very friendly. Nice atmosphere and the staff let me know they participate in the iDine app for up to 15% discounts. Will be back soon.

Great food!

By Glenda R |

We came to this restaurant with some of our friends that are local to the area-it is one of their regular favorites. I had the eggplant Parmesan which was to die for. So good! My husband ate the spaghetti portion on my plate and enjoyed it. He had ordered the gyro and said it was decent but he didn't love it like I did the eggplant! The spicy hummus was tasty and a good size serving. With four of us I think we mostly finished it, although we did have to order extra servings of pita bread to make it through. The cannoli were a sweet treat to end the meal. All in all I would definitely return and probably just order the eggplant again.

Our new greek spot

By londamor |

We have been saying for over a week we were going to try this place. OMG it's our new spot. We felt a welcoming feeling from the moment we walked in. The service was great and the food mmmm how can I describe it superb! Since today was our first run we went with the traditional gyro, with their speciality rice and greek salads. We definitely will be back, there's more food for us to try. Sorry ate the food so quickly I forgot to take pics :).

Great Greek!

By Terry K |

Both the West Lake Mead and Durango locations are great. Husband likes the Gyros. I like the stuffed bell peppers and stuffed tomatoes. It's a hard decision between them and the pomegranate grill chicken salad.

Outstanding!!!

By Shannon |

This was the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever eaten!! Our appetizer and dinner was top notch! We also enjoyed the live music. We enjoyed it all so very much, we may have to return before flying out tomorrow!!

Great for even moderate sized groups

By RWH_NLV |

I recently attended a club Valentine's Lunch at the North Durango location and both the food and service were excellent. When you think of chicken for 30, you usually don't have particularly high expectations, but it was tender, moist and very flavorful. The rice, hummus and pita were also outstanding. Their greek salad is one of the best around and the whole thing was topped off with a baklava that just oozed goodness (and calories).

Very nice atmosphere!

By Jamie B |

My husband and I ate here on a Friday night and were very pleased with the service. Very friendly wait staff and overall a happy place to dine at. Our food was very good, hot and delicious!

Great Tasting Food, Extraordinary Service

By Momwithexpectations |

We have visited this place for a late lunch with our family. (They do have another Vegas location as well.) The atmosphere was great right as we walked in. The staff was accommodating and attentive. Even their menu is gorgeous :).The food was very tasty. We've met the owner as well, a great host! We went back the next night just for their Saganaki and their cheesecake! Market Grille Cafe is definitely worth trying if you're in the Centennial Hills area!

Fantastic surprise!

By lisa c |

We went after wedding dress shopping with my daughter. The food was delicious, service was great and prices were decent. Definitely will go back!

Delish!

By lvseouladventure |

We had a wonderful family dinner here and everyone had a great time. I had grilled shrimp with hummus, salad, and pita. The servers were professional and friendly. I had asked not to have onions in my meal and the server made sure no onions were found in my main dish as well as my salad. Really like this restaurant and will definitely come back in the future.

Delicious Greek Food/Great Service

By Nistone |

We tried this place on a whim (without checking Tripadvisor!) and discovered an awesome restaurant. The service was very friendly and professional. The waitress explained the menu and several specialty dishes to us when we told her it was our first visit. We tried the sampler appetizer with hummus, tabouli, babganoush, dolmades and falafels. The dolmades were better than some we had in Greece! We shared the trio meal with the most popular dishes and my teenager had the Spanakopita. Dinners are served with rice and option of salad, hummus and pita bread. There was no room for dessert, but it sounded great and will return to try some of their homemade cheesecake with phyllo crust. Everything was delicious...My new favorite place.

Maria was just awful, oh and the food was not that great either.

By Pedro C |

By far I would have to say this was the worst service I have experienced. A couple friends of mine and I decided to eat here for lunch. We were asked if we had ever been in before, we replied that all but one of us had not and she had not been here for a very long time. We were explained to order off a board and then they would bring the food to us which was fine, the décor was very warm and inviting and did have almost an outdoorsy feel. Overall the interior was great. The guy who took my order was very informative, polite, and had extensive knowledge of their menu. I placed my order, then my 1st friend placed hers, and finally my 2nd friend placed hers. We sat down at a table. We were given our appetizer a few minutes after selecting our table, the hummus was ok, almost tasted like they used sour cream in it, not the best I have tasted but it also was not the worst. A few minutes later a younger girl came up to our table with 2 plates and just stared at me with a blank smile. It was really kind of uncomfortable. I was starting to think that she either could not speak, forgot how to speak, or was just memorized by our charming good looks, then she finally opened her mouth and I realized that all of the above were incorrect, she just did not really understand life or what was going on in it. She passed me my plate, passed the 3rd person hers, she then said "enjoy" and my 2nd friend, the one who placed her order 2nd never received her order. She spoke up and asked the dazed girl "Are you bringing my order soon?" The girl just looked at us with a glazed over look and flashed a half crooked smile , almost as to say I have no idea what you are talking about-I just work here or maybe am new and do not understand words kind of a smile and walked away. After several minutes this mindless girl emerged from what we believe was the bathroom and we tried to flag her down, she walked passed us and up to where the kitchen staff handed out the food. We noticed there were 2 more plates and assumed it was the 2nd friend's meal. We again were wrong, it was the food of 2 patrons that had came in several minutes after we had sat down. Finally we flagged down Maria who was extremely rude and condescending and asked where the order was, we even flashed her the receipt. She question as if we really had even ordered anything for my 2nd friend and looked at her appetizer plate as if to say she already scarfed down her order. When she was informed that we are still waiting she snapped at us and told us that we were not on the same page as her and basically told us to settle down and did not understand what was going on, Apparently confusion runs rampant in this hole and the right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing at all! It is not even aware there is another hand. My 2nd friend asked if she could either have her money back or her order and Maria just stood there like a statue and glared as if my friend spoke to her in a foreign language. Extremely unprofessional, at no point in time did Maria ever say "I am sorry for the mishap, let me figure out what is going on and I will be right back." We were made to feel like liars. She walked away with the receipt which we requested to be given back and took several minutes at the register, my 2nd friend finally had to walk up and ask what was going on. Maria snapped at her "WE ARE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE!!! DO YOU JUST WANT YOUR MONEY BACK?!!" Well no, she wanted to eat since we only have an hour lunch and the majority of it was wasted trying to figure out where the food was she had paid for, NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!! Maria stated that she had nothing to do with this and she refused to apologize because it was not her mistake!! I am sorry, but I would assume that the manager IS responsible for her employees and their mistakes! Maria asked "Would you like an apology, because we are not on the same page!" My 2nd friend said "No, the way you are just staring at me with that confused look, makes me feel like you think I stole the food" Maria just stood there for 10 minutes staring at my friend like an idiot. No refund was offered, but my friend was finally provided her order but was made to stand at the food line and had to walk her food over to our table. Upon leaving we asked for Maria's managers name and she was in shock like we would have the nerve to ask for this and again NEVER apologized for the crappy service. The best part is when she actually told us to have a nice day! I am sorry that I had actually gave a 20% tip at the beginning right after I placed my order. The "Beef/Lamb" Gyro sucked, was the worst I have ever tasted, I would not recommend this to an enemy and the service sucks! Maria should not be dealing with the public at all.

We have wanted to try this restaurant for some time and decided to go when we ha some family in town. I used the address on THEIR website and could not find the restaurant. After driving around looking for 15 minutes I called the restaurant and they gave me directions to the new location on Durango. We arrived to find a somewhat confusin ordering system with no instruction and no one to help us. Luckily one of the other patrons helped us. We ordered food for four and it came to just over $60. Little overpriced, but I was hoping it would be worth it. The young girl that was our service couldn't have worked there more than a day or two and it showed. She brought the falafel that we ordered and we all dug in. Each of us took one bite and shared a look or horror as we tried to decide if we could swallow this bite. No one went back for a second bite and we all hoped our entree would make up for this disgrace. We then recieved our entrees and began to eat. My wife had what I can only call "the worst soup ever made". It became a dare at the table to even try it. My father and I had the Gyro plate. The gyro was on par with banquet food, but the rice was overcooked and completely dried out. The hummus tasted like it was made with cheap pungent olive oil and completely inedible. All of our salads were way overdressed with bland dressing. Needless to say, we didn't hardly touch our food. The waitress came and asked us how we were doing and we told her to take the plates. In any decent restaurant, a table that doesn't eat their food and returns it all uneaten would be asked what was wrong and likely be visited by a manager. We had no such courtesy. I can't really find one good thing to say about this restaurant.

Greek cuisine in the desert!

First time visiting this great Greek cafe and will definitely be going back! I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and continued on to a very friendly waiter. The food was excellent as well! I had the traditional gyro and Greek salad. Meat was so tender and pita was great! Very happy I stopped here for lunch. Really felt like a local with how nice everyone was. The atmosphere was also fantastic which made the whole experience even better!

Ate here last night with a group of friends and I can not say enough good things about the meal. I had the Pomegranate Chicken and my wife had the Moussaka. Absolutely great.

My family loves this place! Not only are there a lot wonderful food options, they also have many gluten-free options. The food has been consistently fresh and excellent each time we have eaten here.

Like a Cool Evening Breeze

It was our first visit, a late lunch and it was not busy. Love the welcoming atmosphere and caring staff. The seasoned hummus trio really hit the spot, tasting great and fresh pita wedges were a surprise. The lunch specials were customized, with a nice choice of entrees, side dishes and an included soft drink. Superb family-feel, and service. Recommended.

Delicious Gluten Free Pasta

By Appaloosagirl57 |

My husband and I visited this restaurant after hearing it had the best gyro in Las Vegas. When we looked at the menu I realized they also has gluten free pasta dishes. Very important for me due to gluten intolerance. He ordered the gyro and I ordered the GF pasta with pesto and chicken. Everything was delicious. The pasta was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Unbelievable flavor and the pasta was wonderful. The gyro was huge and he said it was the best he ever ate. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the wait staff was excellent. They offer a reasonable wine selection although we didn't order wine. The prices are about average and it really is a good value. I love this place! We will be back.

Give Greek a try!

By Ragski49 |

I have several friends that immediately say, "I don't like Greek food" when I suggest Market Grille, one of my favorite local restaurants! I just take them by the hand and introduce them to spanakopita so flaky that it melts in your mouth, a pumpkin soup so creamy and delicious that most of them do not even realize what it is! And then we move on to the gyros, and Greek fries! When I ply them with the pomegranate chicken (accompanied by a house delectable sweet pomegranate wine!), they are practically melting in the chairs. I top off the meal with an introduction to the best export from Greece since Zorba---BAKLAVA! Homemade and sinful, a perfect Greek holiday without leaving Vegas! Opa!!

Tasty Greek Yummies

This restaurant was in a smaller location many years ago and had to expand to accommodate the business. All the food is good, especially the cheesecake! KaBobs are perfect, and the price is on the higher side but still fair and reasonable. Clean, good service and customer care. We go whenever we need something "different".

Great food and amazing service!

This is one of my family's favorite places to eat in Las Vegas! My children love the Saganaki flaming cheese appetizer and the food is always fresh! I highly recommend the Gyro plate and if you are undecided and a little more hungry, the Greek Trio is an excellent choice as well! There is a reason this place has been voted "Best of Las Vegas" for many years running! The family owned feel adds to the atmosphere and shows with the staff. They also have a military discount, which is a plus.
