This place is broke down. The kitchen was backed up so badly that they couldn't seat people. There were many empty tables that were unbussed (which is gross btw) despite many people waiting outside. The worst part of it all was the hostess who was clearly untrained and unprofessional. It's obviously a management issue...among other things.

Food and service was good. Enjoyed the pizza for appetizers and shrimp and grits for entree. Shrimp and grits portions were small. I’d also recommend the gumbo and parmesan crusted chicken.

Friendly bar with a good selection of beers and whiskey. Didn't try the food, but plenty of locals eating so they must be doing it right.

Delicious first time for our group of five. We all ordered a variety of items along with the spinach dip appetizer...everything was perfect! The temp, the taste, the service...we will certainly try again if we're in the area. The menu has an array of options that will please you.

This was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant in a long time. I am not usually one to complain and turn back food to the kitchen, but my food arrived cold. When I told the waitress, it of course, went back into the kitchen to be microwaved with a few new fries and a clean swipe of the ketchup I had poured - to make it look as if I had a fresh plate. So then it was hot, but soggy microwave mess. It was basically uneatable. The waitress, who had the personality of cardboard, did apologize and said they would give me a discount -- which was a whole $4.00 off my meal. Couldn't even comp me a beer? Or the meal itself? If you want to watch a game and drink beer, this place would be fine. But by all means, do not order a meal!

Good atmosphere. Great food. Beer was flat, but when on tap it happens sometimes. Service was so-so. It wasn't very crowded, but we didn't get much attention. Had to flag down server for more water and a 2nd drink. Otherwise, very good. The Thai wings were excellent. Would go back definitely.

My family and I were in the area sight seeing from out of town. This place popped up when we were looking for food and I'm so glad it did! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and the food was AMAZING! When we went, there wasn't much of a crowd. Maybe two or three other groups, so I can't speak for how they perform under the pressure of a rush, but we enjoyed it. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted delicious! I would totally recommend this place and I wish there was one near me.

We were ready for casual food on a cold Friday night and had heard good things about McCray’s. We were seated quickly and our server McKenzie was right there. We had questions about the menu and food prep (food allergies) and she got the answer to the things she did not know. She brought beer samples-hubby likes malty ales, no IPAs-and both were perfect. She made sure I was ok with the jalapeños in the quac & pico de Gaia. Food was good but service was amazing!! Better than the fancy restaurants we had eaten at the last 3 nights. Thanks McKenzie for taking such great care of us when we were cold, tired and hungry!

The Classic Reuben was everything we expected and more, corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, 1,000 Island on marble rye with a deli pickle. The Cuban Sandwich, roasted pork, ham, mustard, Swiss with a pickle juice-based garlic herb dipping sauce was delicious! The fries served with each entree had a crunchy topping, so much better than ordinary fries. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient!

Wandered in here on a Saturday afternoon - Loved the vibe and the bar staff went the extra mile to get the ingredients needed to make my drink - twice - and did it with a smile even though it was busy! Had a great burger and loved the place!!

In midtown Atlanta! 15 of us handled by one great waiter, LeRoy. He did Amazing job by himself and we were on the top level of the restaurant - lots of stairs ! Food was quite good. We had a variety of appetizers and main courses, and a few who tried the craft beers. Too many to list, but all yummy - don’t forget to order the Big Ass Pretzel appetizer! And if you like Hot wings.... will be back

We ordered the nachos and buffalo chicken rolls. They were amazing!!! Couldn't order any more food because I was so full from sharing the two appetizers. Great service and great atmosphere. I will be returning!

Location is great! We were a group of 13 having brunch. Great selections. Highly recommend the shrimp & grits, also, chicken and waffles. Food comes out hot and fresh. Our server, Adam was amazing! He never missed a beat. Oh, and don't forget to try their bloody mary with so many extra toppings!

We had dinner there tonight. Great food and right around the corner from our hotel (Marriott midtown suites). Had the shrimp and grits which were seasoned perfectly. I had the southwestern bowl. The brisket was cooked perfectly. Server was excellent. Only downside was that it is a little noisy but braves were playing. Lots of tv’s

Food - excellent (I had the Scottish baked salmon). Service - excellent and friendly. Prices - totally reasonable. Atmosphere - totally pub with multiple TVs. We had to yell to be heard by the people sitting at our own table.

We came here for dinner prior to a concert. We were put in the bar area even though we had made a reservation for dinner. It was quite loud. In spite of the noise, we had a very good meal. Jamie Z provided great service.

I ate here during a business trip. The service at the bar was solid, friendly and helpful, price was reasonable, the beer selection was outstanding, and the food was good - just what you would expect from this sort of location. I have no negatives to note, which says a lot.

Had heard good things about this place so had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed! I had the pretzel burger which was really good Lovely thick patty served medium as requested. Messy to eat with the cheese sauce but very tasty. My Mac and cheese side was really good too. Large portion, very cheesy with a great breadcrumb topping, and best of all not spicy at all (so many places served spicy Mac and cheese) My wife's smash burger had a great flavour and texture, however the patty was a bit dry and was very very salty (tasted like the chef had an accident with the salt!) Had very good sweet potato fries with it! The two girls service us were really friendly and efficient and the whole meal experience was really good. I would highly recommend the burger here (maybe not the smash burger) and would come back again.

We stopped in for dinner since it was close to our hotel. I ordered a pineapple daiquiri and it was served in a really small glass over ice. It definitely was not an $11 cocktail. Buffalo chicken sandwich and fish and chips were decent. Sandwich was supposed to have side of blue cheese which I didn't receive. Probably will not return. Other Irish pubs in area that get it right.

Can’t beat the location - right across the street from the hotel. Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Had to request them to lower the volume a bit and had to make my own cocktail sauce (mix horse radish and catsup) for my fish and chips, otherwise five stars.

This is the second time we have had brunch at McCrays Tavern. Both times the food had obviously just come off the stove. it is such a pleasure to NOT have food that has sat (including under a heat lamp) for too long. In addition, the mimosa produced a buzz within two sips. Again, I have had too many drinks that left no buzz at all.

The food was good and I love this place. My only negative review is the amount of time it takes to pick up your order. I work at one of the nearby hotels so we try to support this restaurant, but the wait is extremely long even for advance call-in orders. We also are requesting take out menus for our hotel guest!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch and were able to sit outside. That’s important these days! The brunch menu was great!

Great food and staff. Nice bar with lots of selections. Menu had a bit of everything and consistently was good. Even Brunch was tasty.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Good specials on food and drinks. Definitely recommend this place for either drinks and apps or a full sit down meal.

I have been to this place a couple of times. The service is good and it is a good mix of different people. Plenty of TV screens. The food could use some TLC. Last time I visited the were out of the first two types of beer I tried to order and also out of my first choice main course.

I came here with a buddy to eat dinner. I got the smash burger and it was VERY good. Fries were good as well. Decor is nice. Rating 4 starts instead of 5 only because I thought the prices were a bit high. I would definitely come back again though.

This was just what we were looking for — a good basic close to our hotel. Went with my son to grab a meal and everything went well. Service was excellent — sat right away at a good table, everything was clean, atmosphere was upscale casual with TVs showing the football games. Our server was very prompt and friendly and burgers were tasty and done properly. My son specifically requested that I mention the delicious onion rings in this review :) I would definitely recommend if you’re nearby.

It was okay nothing to write home about. I asked for medium cooked salmon 🍣 it was overcooked. My friend and I were splitting the bill. It was done incorrectly.

We were staying at a hotel in Midtown Atlanta for only one night, and it happened to be Easter Sunday. We had a difficult time trying to find a restaurant that was not closing early, or had a Fixed Prix Menu, or had an Easter buffet. The Hotel Valet recommended that we walk over to McCrays, so we did, and it was great. Very good friendly service. Cold beer, Great pizza ( I had the meat lovers and I loved it) . Our friends shared a salmon dish that looked like it had come out of a Michelin rated kitchen. My wife loved her catfish. A great meal overall.

Probably the friendliest serving I have had in the city. The food was mid range price which is great for midtown. We went before a concert. Great for a quick bite in the city
Great food and service! Wings
Great food and service! Wings on point, Prime Rib sandwiches were phenomenal and service was on point!
