Limited menu

By fcrane35 |

Limited menu, slow service, crowded since there is no other lunch spot other than grab and go. Overpriced. Disappointing. Captive audience.

Poor service

By Chris B |

Took forever to be waited on and get food. They brought out our appetizer as the same time as entree. Chip and dip has maybe 2 tablespoons of guacamole. Overpriced and slow. The chocolate Dr Pepper cake was best thing we tried.

Late night or early morning its works!

By Steve R Coronado |

I stated at The Anatole and had pleasure of dining at both noted times .I suggest to any and all seeking a chance to grab a meal without leaving Hotel!

Poor Quality Food

By Chad B |

We tried this place. Menu is very limited and food quality is terrible. The service is slow. Don't stay at the Hilton Anatole for food, the choices are some of the worse.

very good hotel dining

By lindas286 |

Very good place to eat inside the monstrous Anatole hotel. Had a very good ribeye steak here. waiter was very nice and attentive. only issue was there are these weird lights on the floor that are blinding when you are eating. have no idea why they have those and I literally had to put a plate over the light because I could not see. very weird. but food was good

Expected more

By Buddy B |

For the limited menu I expected a $ 15 hamburger to be a better quality than what I received. Meat was tough tough and flavorless. ttough ttough and not flavorful wasttoutough

Restaurant Review

Great family atmosphere with nice service and way above average food. Isaac was very friendly and recommended some great items for us to try. I will definitely be going back again!

Media Grill & Bar

By sean_0101 |

It's an average sports bar. Food was decent, service was good/friendly. It's about what I'd expect for a hotel property establishment.

Fun and good

By Justin0111 M |

Had dinner at the bar with the family and the food was great, service excellent and they were busy. They had about 150 people that came in at once and they were busy, but never bogged down. Definitely a skilled crew

Great service but pricey

By lindas286 |

Had a nice dinner here but it was very pricey. The berry salad was delicious. The salmon was very good. Our server was very very good

Convenient but....mediocre at best

By Sandra5678 |

It is always convenient to have a place to get a bite to eat at the hotel in which you are staying but we have often found that these places are mediocre at best and that is what we found here. The service was fine but the food, not so much.

They will accommodate simple meals not on the menu

By Jaym17 |

This place was really nice! I liked sitting outside in the atrium while dining. The servers were great, especially Frankie. He was spot on with the recommendations. I ate there for dinner and 2 lunches. It was very convenient and the food was tasty!

Good but limited options

By Spiros L |

It's a bar located inside the Hilton Anatole. I wasn't very impressed with the service and the food selection wasn't that great. But they do have good choice of drinks. It serves its purpose if you don't want to go outside the hotel.

Great Breakfast Buffet

By Nicola W |

Great selection at the buffet. Excellent fresh fruit and baked goods. The omelette station was good and fast!

The people are really nice here. It was very noisy and very crowed.

By Mark H |

The people are really nice here. It was very noisy and very crowed...lots of conventions going on at the same time. The food was good and service was very good considering how busy it was on a Thursday night. Not many choices in the hotel for a full service casual restaurant. The grounds and hotel are very nice...very expansive. They can handle several very large conventions at the same time.

The center of it all

By turbojim |

The Media Bar is the center of all the action at the Anatole. You can get some great food and relax with some drinks, though pricey. A definite hop spot, especially during conferences and events!

Could be better

By Holly P |

Price for fish tacos would have been ok if the bones were not in the fish. Very hard to be on business lunch and spit out bones. Fish was also cooked a little too long. Salsa was bland. The wine and service was good!

Terrible service

By Michael J |

Great hotel but the bar restaurant was in the weeds. Waited 10 minutes for someone to greet me. Had to ask for menu. Very disappointed

3 Meals in a Row

By Justin B |

I was at the Anatole for a conference and just wanted to grab some dinner and head to my room so the Media Grill is in the atrium which worked out perfect. The first night I splurged and got the sirloin which was fantastic. Because of the great food and service, I went back the following two nights for the ribeye and the shrimp pasta. Whether you are staying there or not you should check it out.

Limited Menu but the food was good

By Jennifer E |

Had a hamburger. It was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. Fries were good as well and the iced tea was very good.

Excellent Food and Great Service

By ddmullis |

No doubt one of the best hamburgers ever is served at Media Bar and Grill. Their soups and salads are awesome as well. The braised beef ribs are extremely tasty. Most of all, the service is top notch as well.

Convenient but average

By gebhardts |

For the most part, I know what to expect when I eat at a hotel restaurant like this. I have low expectations and sometimes am pleasantly surprised. I got pretty much what I expected at Media Grill. There was a limited menu with salads, sandwiches and a few entrees. I ordered the turkey club and my husband had a burger. Both were ok. The bill was about $40 without drinks on this lunch, which felt pretty overpriced. The service was fast, the server was friendly, and it was convenient. They have a cool TV wall which would be good for watching a game. Eat here if you're hungry and don't want to leave the property. Otherwise, take an uber and try something more memorable nearby.

Hamburger, frys and a coke for $25 with tip.

By USE_TON_TX |

Decent burger, but for $25, I should have received a massage or a serenade. That was one of the cheaper menu items. Of course it is a hotel restaurant and, for some reason, hotels feel they can bleep their guests by jacking up prices on the most basic of food and drink. I guess because they know their parking is so inadequate, they know everyone is afraid to leave for fear that they would have to park miles away from the hotel.

Very good fish tacos, excellent beer selection

By derekb2345678 |

Was staying at the hotel, and checked in late, so wanted a quick bite to eat. Was able to get nice seat very quickly, and service was friendly and fast, despite being quite crowded. Enjoyed a local draft beer (Bood & Honey Ale), side salad and fish tacos. Good serving size, and very tasty. Added perk was having TV screens built into the walls all around the restaurant so could watch a hoops game while eating solo. Would recommend.

Good bar, good but not great food.

By micstebou |

This is one of the restaurants in the atrium portion of the Hilton Anatole. the bar area in comfortable and the service there late night was very attentive. We ate there for lunch one day. The good; The restaurant is open, well lit and the service was good. The not so good: The soup lacked flavor and character. I was going to have their fried chicken, but $25 dollars for a plate of fried chicken seemed unreasonable for lunch. I had a burger instead at 1/2 that price. The burger itself was good. The bun for the burger was soft and disintegrated as I ate the burger. I am not sure if it was too old and dry, or just a poor choice for a hamburger bun. Similar to the atrium and guest rooms, there are small fruit flies throughout the complex including the restaurant; annoying.

Nice furnishings- huge bar

By Hart |

Pricey for a casual place & most entree's don't come with a side. Ok for drinks & meeting place but your typical hotel eating place. Food was good, but it should be for the price you pay. Service was better at a table vs. the bar. Not friendly & you have to ask for service. Lots of management at the bar so maybe they are there to help improve the experience. I wouldn't seek out this bar if not staying at the hotel.

Nice atmosphere, poor food

By LAAFood1 |

My wife and I went here for cocktails & apps. Scenery was great. Our waiter barely checked on us & our good (we got the hummus & shrimp apps) were so-so at best. She has been here before with much better food so perhaps it was selection or the night. Hotel is great though!

Fancy Hotel Mediocre Restaurant

By DonJancauskas |

The Anatole is probably the fanciest hotel in the downtown Dallas area but this restaurant doesn't live up to the hotel standards. The restaurant had about 10 people in it and yet it took an hour to get our food after ordering. I had a ribeye that was barely warm when I got served and wife had fish taco's that she says were tasteless. Our host was from Singapore and was quite surprised about the dinner quality that he apologized for his choice of restaurants.

There are better places to eat

By joefromjohnsisland |

We were staying across the street so we walked over try this place for dinner. The hotel and restaurants look amazing but that's as far as it goes. The menu is small and overpriced. We tried several appetizers which were good but $15 for chicken wings is a bit much. I had the surf and turf which was average at best. The steak was overcooked and tough, thank goodness for salt and pepper. It came with three shrimp that were grilled. For $39 I was expecting much more.

Horrible management

By Swapnil B |

The manager is incredibly rude and has no idea what customer service actually is. It’s amazing how an individual like that can be hired in the restaurant and service industry. I truly hope some corrective action is taken, because individuals like that are tarnishing the reputation of such a amazing hotel.

Nice hotel cafe

By DrKatieRN |

Are lunch here daily during a conference. Enjoyed salads and sandwiches. Service is average. There is a nice bar open for late night drinks and light meals.

Poor service, Average food, High prices

By rdubbs08 |

Located in the Hilton Anatole hotel, Media Grill and Bar has great optics. However, the service was poor, food average and prices high. Unless I was having to meet someone there, I would not revisit. As a guest of the hotel, there are great local dining options within a 5 minute walk or drive of the property.

OMG, Great food for a comparitively low price.

By Judith191993 |

Got more than my money's worth. The food is so good here and they're so accomidating. Had smoked chicken & bacon salad. The meat wasn't just sprinkled on top. It was thoroughly mixed in. The portion was generous. Had mango iced tea with it. For dessert had a slice of what I would consider a "CHOCOHOLIC" CAKE.

Good for families and solo dining alike

By Brigitt H |

Stopped here our first night in the hotel to dine alone at the bar. The hamburger was perfect, tvs weren't too loud, it was a nice respite from the family. Our second night we ate here because it offered free kids meals. The food was good but not so fancy that the kids couldn't enjoy themselves.

Good food and atmosphere.

By oriel b |

So during my visit to Dallas, I was recommended this restaurant. It is located on the main floor of the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. The atrium is beautiful! and the hotel is very upscale, next time I'm definitely staying here. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted by the hostess and I asked to be sat at the bar, I ordered a beer and the service was fast and pleasant. I ordered a salmon kale salad with dried cranberries and it was very tasty. The portion is very small so if you enjoy leaving the restaurant on a full stomach you might wanna try something else, perhaps their burger that look amazing btw! The atmosphere is very nice, the restaurant is clean and theres plenty chances to make new friends and have great conversations. Now when it comes to pricing....a believe its a little overpriced for the quality, the food wasn't anything spectacular but again, you pay for the location of the restaurant and the service.

Great Lunch!

By tnmommax2 |

The food and service were great! Ate here twice. Very good! Brisket sliders delicious! Had salad with salmon and it was very good, too!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

By BONNIE M |

The food is spectacular, the drinks are delicious, and the service is top notch. Make sure to try one of the house specialty drinks. The seating is first come - first serve so get there early if you are trying to get a table in the media/couch area. On most Friday & Saturday nights they bring in a dj and clear out the back area for dancing. It is a great place to mingle, knock a few back, and meet some great people from all walks of life.

Great lunch, dinner & drinks

By turbojim |

Hit the Media Grill for lunch every day while at a convention. Their folks there are so very friendly and the food is exceptional. Great place to socialize in the evening over some drinks or even a few games of pool. Will be there for lunches again next time!

😑Meh😑

By JodiK |

Meh. Got the brisket. Huge portion but so fatty. It wasn’t really served hot enough so the fat congealed quickly. Didn’t want the cornbread & wanted to sub a salad. Was told I couldn’t even though it was the same price on the menu. Server said kitchen would give him a hard time about the substitution. I said fine whatever….just don’t bring the cornbread. Got the salad but my other side was supposed to be slaw. I didn’t get it. Was told it was because I got the salad. Sheesh. Cocktail was a spicy margarita but it was a light pour for sure. I always can “feel” the tequila but not today. I sure am not feeling this restaurant that’s for sure. I had been getting the grab and go convenience options from the kiosk across the way & taking it to my room & eating from a plastic box. Should have done that again. Total disappointment. Also I asked to be seated in a corner off to the side. Nope. Plopped me right in the middle. I’ve had better meals and better service at Waffle House. Restaurant not on par with a hotel of this caliber.

Excellent dining experience if you are staying at the Hotel Anatole

By r3dko |

I had a great experience at the Media Bar + Grill. A colleague and I made reservations for a lunch meeting during a trade show (Wireless Infrastructure Show). We were immediately seated, and the waiter remember my colleague's name from his dinner there the night before. Service was expedient and excellent, the food was great (a bit overpriced for a burger but that's to be expected). I highly recommend making a reservation during busy events - while waiting I saw plenty of people turned away with a 1-2 hour expected wait time. I disagree with other comments about the staff - everyone was more than curious, and the greeter at the door was very enthusiastic, polite and professional. He made everyone leaving the restaurant laugh and greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake. Overall, this is a go-to in my book if you're staying at the Hilton Anatole or happen to be attending an event. Not the type of place to go to just-because -- the hotel charges $13-$25 for self parking and $23 for valet.

Nice Atmosphere

By Jamie D. |

The food was average but pricey, which is typical of a hotel restaurant. The service was great and the atmosphere on the atrium patio section was very nice.

Nothing special, but expensive

By AnniK_K |

We came here to watch a football game and have a couple of drinks and were pretty shocked by our check - you seem to pay for the fact that you are within the Hilton, not at all for what you are getting. It was very loud in here, too.

Delicious!

By Sunny B Photos |

We dined here twice during our stay at the Hilton Anatole. Both times, I ordered the Berry Salad with Chicken - it's DELICIOUS!!!

Nothing special

By Ralph S |

We were at the Anatole for my daughter's dance competition and had lunch at Media. I ordered an Angus burger. For $15 I expected it to be better than you average frozen patty burger, but it was not. Very basic. Not juicy. I ordered medium and it came out well done. I asked for the check and I only got a receipt with the total on it. After waiting about 10 minutes for my server to come back I asked for an itemized check. He said no problem. I didn't necessarily think the check was wrong, I just always like to review before paying. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally decided to pay as I was tired of waiting and had better things to do...

great for snacking

By ELIZABETH E |

picked up both muffin for breakfast/sandwich for snack /bought bottle of wine they recorked to take to room

Excellent experience

By Global00224713872 |

My first experience to have a breakfast at Media. I would love to thank you to Dolores, I love her energy and how she gives me excellent service! Everything was good, and the chef in omelette section is really helpful. thanks a bunch!

Ignorance is Bliss

By Stephanie W |

So, I had to visit this restaurant many times during my Hilton stay for a convention (it's the only full service lunch and dinner restaurant in the hotel). My first experience with the restaurant was joining a group whom had already ordered. When the waiter finally came, he seemed as if I was a huge annoyance. Enough said. Next experience was actually quite good - we held an evening reception with over 400 people. The food was great and the bar service exceptional (considering you'd think everyone just flew in from a dry county). Somehow, I think this staff was brought in for this event as the next few days was not consistent with this experience. I had another two lunches here with pathetic service. Moving tables was a giant inconvenience, food orders were forgotten and the best was "we are only taking cash or room charge as our credit card machines are down". The vendor I was with had no cash and wasn't staying at the hotel. Awkward! There was absolutely no alternative or consideration given. When we asked for the manager, she had the same approach. When I finally asked what other options we had seeing as we were about to leave without paying, she finally said she could use the carbon copy receipt (old school) and run the charge when the machines were working. Oh, there is an option, after all! With so many no-nonsense people on expense reports trying to conduct business efficiently, you'd think they would have bent over backwards to make people welcome, happy and leave satisfied not only to turn tables quicker, but to bring them back during their stay! Food was good, but overall, not impressed.

Family meals during Staycation should have gone off property

By Teammcwilliams |

great service, waiter was attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are overpriced. 16 bucks for a beer. 15 bucks for the kids "buffet" which was just chicken fingers, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The charcuterie board was delicious other than that food was not very good. The brisket sandwich was stringy and soaked in a overly sweet sauce, it had so many pickled jalapenos on it that it was almost inedible. The meat of the burgers was an odd consistency. It was convenient, there are restaurants that are much better within a 5 minute walk.

Good presentation but poor food quality

By RaiDoc |

The old saying of "never judge a book by its cover" holds true here. The presentation of the food is really quite good, but the quality of what is served is exceptionally bland and lacking. For example the Grilled Chicken Ciabatta clearly had pre-frozen chicken patties which were soggy and totally without taste. The ciabatta was a big lump of dough and the relis was sweet beyond belief. In addition the service albeit kind, was disorganized, forgetful and haphazard. Bottom line if one has to eat at any cost at this lobby like Hotel restaurant then so be it, but there must be better options nearby.

Good place for a snack or appetizers or a few beers

By Bryan Q |

Good place to go waste a few hours away during the day or meet up with people in the evening before going out on the town.

Typical Hotel Restaurant

By J E |

This is the bar/restaurant in the huge Hilton Anatole. Prices are high and food is mediocre. Service was friendly, but they get very busy, especially when there’s a conference (or two, or more) in the hotel. They do have plenty of seating inside, at the bar, and out in the atrium of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is available too.

$106.47 Dinner😮‍💨

By Kasey G |

My reservation was canceled twice without my knowledge…upon arrival I was informed that about the cancellation…I drove to Dallas from Austin for work. I asked for another premium suite but there were non available..they offered presidential suite for $1600/night which is double from my premium suite I reserved 3 months in advance. I ended up getting a regular room and ordered room service..my order arrived in 45mins..in a brown to go bag..2 burgers with a side of fries and 1 cheesecake…wait for it…$106.47. My patty was shard as a rock..bread was missing a side😂 fries had no seasoning, my tomato looked like somebody chewed on it and spit it out…see pictures 😁 ohh btw I am a gold member :) this is some real vip treatment

Typically pricey hotel bar/pub

By JudesLuxuryTravel |

The food is good and served quickly. If you can get a table you will be in and out in less than an hour. They have a nice sitting area inside to the left of the bar but it's not the best bar to mix and mingle. Great in a pinch. #LivingSomedayToday

Pathetic service, decent food

By Y0ungSter |

The restaurant was not crowded, but our waiter was pathetic. Weren't checked on once we got our food. Didn't get a refill on a soft drink and if a bottle of water wasn't left on the table, the two of us would have been dying of thirst. Ordered the brisket mac & cheese and the short ribs. Both were tasty and of good portion size. Price is what you'd expect to pay in a hotel (too much!) Had to ask another waiter for our bill, which was delivered by the manager (who offered a table close to us a discount for the poor service they got, but not us). Very disappointing.

Food and service was very good!

By AllOver1 |

Located inside the Hilton Anatole. We were greeted by hostess who was very polite. After we were seated waiter greeted us and brought water. We ordered an appetizer of buffalo chickens nachos which were great. Enough for 4 people. My wife had a salad with chicken which was very fresh and good. I had wings (appetizer) for my meal. Had the watermelon bbq sauce flavored wings. May be some of the best wings I ever had. Only reason I had very good and not excellent was the pricing. A little high but I guess you are also paying for location. I would eat here again.

Terrible

By Ronald A |

If you want to eat, be careful. The price is high and the service is terrible. The manager has no focus. I went there today. Brought a business associate. We ordered. No one across from us. We sat there. The place was very busy. People came and sat across from us, four people. My associate and eye glasses empty soda. We sat there we had to find the waitress who was more interested in flirting with the boys than doing her job. I asked if we could have a refill. We waited for forty minutes. She brought the people across from us there food. My associate said he was leaving. I tried to stop him and be patient. He was going to Denny's. I waited ten more minutes. Now 50 minutes. I went to find the waitress. I asked her what was going on, I had not got my food yet. So five minutes later the Manager shows up and I told him my associate left. If ignored me stepped over to the waitress and they talked. He then walked to the back kitchen with the tray. The waitress walked away. I went to find the manager. He came up. I asked him where my food was. He said the waitress said I did mot want it. OMG so he went back to the kitchen to get it. I sat ten more minutes. I went to the front and asked why it was taking so long. Well 1 hr 12minutes later I walked out and as I was he was bringing my food. I told him I was leaving. Poor worst service I have ever had.

Don't waste your time here.

By SunnySally |

Came here on a Monday. Not crowded but so slow. Terrible service. Less than enthused wait staff. Bar service terrible and drinks suck.

Nice atmosphere, lackluster food & service

By TravelerMJY |

We were here recently with a group of eight for a causal celebration of an anniversary. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is inviting and comfortable; however, the food is mixed at best. We had 3-4 starters, and the strongest was the fried pickle spears – the tortilla soup have no flavor or seasoning, the chips were bland and the chicken lettuce wraps tasted a bit like Panda Express. For the mains, we had a number of surf-and-turf orders, which were a big disappointment, the Thai chicken curry (ok) and the beef brisket mac & cheese (the best of the bunch). The prices are high, which we expected at a luxury hotel restaurant; however, neither the food nor service justified the price. We won’t make a return visit.

Great Food with Decent Service

By ddmullis |

During a recent business conference I had the opportunity to eat at the media grill several times. The soups each day were very tasty. The Caesar salad was very good as well The burgers and chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection My only dislike was the lack of good service. It was very hot or miss in terms of whether or not you get good or bad service

Risotto Heaven!

By Britt Anne R |

We stayed at the Hilton Anatole for a BeautiControl conference. I ate at the Media Bar and Grill one night. It was very very good! The risotto was not toothy, which if you're a risotto snob, is a bad thing. I actually like overcooked rice, so it was fantastic for me. The flavours were incredible! The Media Bar and Grill has a few components. It has a "patio" that sits in the atrium of the Anatole, the lounge area, and a dance are on Friday/ Saturday nights. Other BeautiControl ladies ate at the Media and enjoyed their food and the service. The prices were reasonable, but higher than other places in Texas just given that you're in a restaurant at the Hilton Anatole.

Great Breakfast

By Christopher B |

Roughly $23 for all you can eat fruit, egg and omelets, coffee and juices. Nice atmosphere, great staff, great taste.

Nice Hotel Restaurant

By Jonfo1969 |

Stayed here at the Anatole for the weekend. We decided to eat a late lunch at Media Grill. The food was delicious and the service was very good.

Good food. Not good service.

By Jennifer Z |

They have validation if your coming in just for the food. We sat in the indoor (no outdoor available) patio. Other parts of the bar looked nice. Bathroom is a good distance outside of the restaurant. Ordered three meals, they got two wrong. One was a refire on a steak. They did give me chicken tortilla soup that was free and tasty! The apparently they know to redo a steak takes 20+ minutes. The rest of my party was done with their meal once I got mine. I would go again if I was in the hotel, but not otherwise. Kitchen was slow, even on original delivery of meals and service was friendly. They were pretty quick with soda refills.

Rude hostess and pricey

By TravelingTessa60 |

Hostess was very rude. Under-staffed during a full hotel. Lots of tables open but no one to wait them. 4 of us could not sit at a table for 6 - whatever. Waited to eat there because of not much other options. Food was good. Very pricey.

If you have to eat in the hotel its ok

By Mammatraveler97 |

This is inside the anatole hilton hotel in Dallas. The people watching from the outside tables can be kind of fun if your wanting to kind of not be in the thick of the atmosphere of the place. The prices are pretty ridiculous, more than the airport. I know they are in a fancy hotel, but seriously this is not even their 5 star place. We got lettuce wraps and the buffalo wings. THey both were ok, we were starving. We also had wine and beer and that is expensive too, so just be ware. I will just stick with the grab and go spot in the hotel if Im needing kind of quick. The food in that spot is great and reasonably priced.

Slow service during conferences

By LuvDaSun222 |

If you're looking up this restaurant you are probably staying at the hotel. Salads are ok. Stick with the 50/50 Caesar. My collegues said the chicken sandwich was ok but nothing great. They are woefully understaffed when there are conferences going on. Long wait for service & food so plan accordingly.

Loved the sandwiches and chips

By blacey815 |

My turkey club was very nice and filling for lunch! Service was spot on and always present in a non-invasive manner.

Excellent Hotel Bar/Grille

By rhp911 |

The bartenders were fantastic!, very attentive, and friendly. Food was great as well. Decent selection of craft drafts!

amazing salmon!

By lindas286 |

staying at the Anatole, we went here for dinner not expecting such a great meal. we both had the salmon and were delighted at how good it was. the salad that topped it off was delicious and refreshing. the crispy salmon was delicious and the rice beneath it was seasoned and a great mix of flavors. We both loved it and ate every last bite! delicious!

Good Food!

By Leigh Anne S |

We were at the Anatole for a work conference and this was our go to lunch place to take the doctors we were meeting. I had the avocado toast 3 times during this meeting! It was SO good. The menu is a little limited but this is typical on hotel restaurants.

Not great

By Tannanichole |

Food was edible but not the best. The only thing that we enjoyed on the menu was the loaded twisted potatoes. Everything else was kind of bland and over priced. We tried them 2 different times(lunch dinner), picking different foods and only the twisted potatoes are worth ordering. The service was great though and super friendly. It was convenient to be able to eat where we were staying.

Great hamburgers

By robertjO2572MG |

This is an interesting take on a sports bar. Their hamburgers are great. Get them with swiss cheese.

Late meal after a long day

By Cynthia S |

The food was ok, but the service was better. The kids loved the "kids buffet" they offered. The drinks were really good.

Limited options

By emotionalbutterfly |

This grill was located in the hotel. It served as a convenient meeting place. I ate there 3 times. The salad was good but I was surprised how limited the menu choices were.

A great venue to eat at the Hilton Anatole

By Steven L |

We stopped at the Media Grill and Bar for lunch. It was a delicious and moderately priced surprise. My wife had fish tacos, and I had the curry and rice dish. Each was tasty, well-prepared, and very enjoyable. I had a small salad which was fresh and well done. Quite out of character, I had a vodka tonic with lunch. Usually, I only drink alcohol with my supper meal. However, the Media Bar had Chiroc Berry Vodka, which I wanted to sample. I will be enjoying that vodka going forward. The service was friendly and adequate. The prices were moderate. I would happily eat there again.

Bring your wallet

By Thurland B |

Everything was great, but very expensive. (27.00 for burger, coffee and tip). Friendly, quick service,

Part Bar - Part Restaurant - All Expensive

By Bill M |

The front part of the Media is a full service bar where you can get any type of drink and they will bring food out to the bar. In the evenings when there are large groups meeting in the hotel it can get rather busy but the bartenders are very good and keep the service moving. The back part of the the Media is a restaurant/grill with a limited but reasonable menu. They have a collection of sandwiches as well as hot entrees. As with everything in the Hilton meals are expensive. The servings are on the small side but the food is good. I d suggest ignoring the desert menu ans it is very limited, very expensive, and not that good.

Terrible!!! Overpriced!!!

By Roy S |

This place is horrible. If all of the restaurants in the Anatole are this bad then stay elsewhere. The most expensive burger I ever bought. Cold fries caused me to send it back. Told her to please start from scratch. I did not want hot fries and a warmed up burger. No need to worry. Hot re heated fries and cold burger is what I got. Service was slow. They brought all but one meal out wrong. Pathetic. The burger was a frozen patty, not hand pressed an cost $17. Please!!! Stale bun. What a mess

Great Shrimp Poboy and good conversation.

By Jeremy M |

I ate here while staying at the Hilton. The food came very quick and I was well taken care of by the bar tender. The Shrimp Po-boy was amazing. I would highly recommend stopping and eating here.

Distracted and loud

By d1621 |

We slipped into Media for a light dinner before heading out to our music event. The only thing good to us was the location since we were staying there in the Anatole hotel. Beyond that the food experience to us was not what we have typically experienced at Hilton hotels. It was slow and non-attentive service, bland food and extremely noisy as it it sort of a jammed in space behind the related lobby oriented bar. This restaurant needs some sound panels installed between half or more of the bar area, a real menu that Hilton would be proud to offer and a complete concept update. Very disappointed.

Ok, nothing special but EXPENSIVE.

By Jim C |

Stopped at Media Grill and Bar while staying at the Dallas Hilton Anatole. To say that their beer there is expensive is an understatement. $10.00 for a 16 oz draft. Food prices are reasonable and the food is ok, nothing to make it stand out. If I wasn't staying at this hotel I would never come back. Not sure if I am going to while I am here but there aren't a lot of choices in walking distance.

Nice hotel cafe

Are lunch here daily during a conference. Enjoyed salads and sandwiches. Service is Slow to average. There is a nice bar open for late night drinks and light meals.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Spot at the Hilton Anatole!

By t_jocelyn |

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Spot at the Hilton Anatole! During my stay in Dallas, I had the pleasure of dining at Media Grill & Bar multiple times—and each visit was a delight! The food was consistently delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional every single time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest welcome by Tabby, the kindest hostess you could ever meet. Her smile and hospitality made me feel right at home. The wait staff is equally amazing—Ramon, Gina, Stephen, Al, and Martin—you all went above and beyond and truly made my experience memorable. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or a late-night bite, the team made sure everything was perfect. This kind of friendly, attentive service is rare and so appreciated. Highly recommend Media Grill & Bar if you’re in Dallas or staying at the Hilton Anatole—you won’t be disappointed!

Loud sports bar-type place with fairly expensive food.

By rbrianh |

The bar was very noisy. The food was good but fairly expensive for hamburgers and fries. Good service.

Dinner with kids

Very pricy but good food. Cheeseburgers to calamari. Service is iffy to poor after nine pm. Reservations are a good idea .

Nice evening of food and fun in Dallas

By AVIPTravel |

While at the Anatole for a conference, my wife and I met another couple for dinner at Media Grill and Bar. There was a short wait, and sat at the bar initially, while waiting for a table. Within 10 minutes, we had a table, which was not a bad wait. Food was pretty decent, with 3 of us having burgers, while my wife tried one of the vegetarian options. Not a huge menu, but several options to choose from.

Disappointing... won't be back.

By W S |

Attending a conference at the Hilton Anatole and came here for lunch with a group of colleagues. It was mid-afternoon and not crowded, but the service was incredibly, incredibly slow. Just getting iced tea took 45 minutes. Once the food came, it was very mediocre... definitely not worth the poor service. They had a very difficult time with my food allergies and got the order wrong. Won't be back.

Very slow service, little choice and mediocre food

By Amanda D |

The food wasn't terrible, but there weren't many choices. The service was very slow when i was there, though the restaurant was busy.

Business Lunch

By TheTravelingMan70 |

Food and service was very good. I had a Texas cheese steak sandwich and it was good. Brisket instead of steak. Nice bar area. Not a huge selection of food, but reasonable.

Service and food

We ate here a couple of times while staying at the Anatole. The food both times were delicious. The staff was great friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be dining again. Try the burger

Within Hilton Hotel

By Brian A |

Bar was understaffed at peak times. Especially for lunch with this being the only sit down restaurant available on the premises.

A nice vegetarian/healthy option

By amandabgarrett |

My co-worker were in the hotel for business, and both trying to eat healthy. We ended up getting the vegetable board (I added salmon and she added chicken) and it did not disappoint! It had a ton of food (we could have split it) including cauliflower, asparagus, tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and a delicious portabello mushroom.

Typical Good Hilton Chain Restaurant

By JWOrtho |

Had dinner and drinks while on a business trip. The service was very good. The food was good if not anything special. The bar was great with a wide selection of higher end spirits. Exactly the expected hotel grill at a quality hotel chain. Business crowd and loud.

Didn't love this place

By Debbie01501 |

Stopped in here for a drink. Lots of little flying bugs near the bar so I didn't eat there. The Soda was flat and beer was ok on tap. Got a bottle the 2nd time.

Food good-Loud atmosphere

By Judy R |

3 salad choices, 2 different burgers, and a few other choices. In other words, the menu is very limited. Having said that all 3 dishes ordered were tasty. There was almost no way to have a conversation. It was quite loud. There aren’t a lot of choices for an evening meal at the Anatole.

Looks can be deceiving

By amberdelica |

Being at the hotel with a large group we decided to eat here rather than try to load up three families and go elsewhere. The restaurant is inside the amazing Anatole hotel and the restaurant itself looks very nice. We had all reviewed the online menu to try and decide what we wanted before we got there. This backfired since the menu had changed recently, our server told us. The prices are high, but to be expected at a high end hotel restaurant. Several of us had burgers that the menu description made sound delicious, but they were average at best. The meat was dry, thin and flavorless. Pretty sure it was a premade frozen patty. I could have had a better burger from a fast food joint. We were all just really disappointed with the Media Grill.

Great food but understaffed.

By Whereaminow1 |

They got me right in both times. The first night our server was amazing. But when it was time to pay we didn’t see him for 20 minutes and to tell the hostess we would have to leave. She found him finally. Not his fault. Way too many tables for one person. The next day I went for lunch on a tight schedule. The place was fairly empty I got right in. Then they seated people at all the tables next to me. Even though he had given me my menu before anyone else was seated he started taking everyone else’s lunch orders first! Once again. Really good food. Challenging service. They had 3 people to seat me and 2 servers? I had to leave and grab my rental and go to McDonalds. We will stay at the property again. I’ll never eat at this spot again. Go upstairs to SER. Some of the best food and service anywhere. At a price 😀

Great dinner & excellent service

By Jillian M |

Ramon has waited on us on our last stay in 2022 and again for spring break 2023 and he is awesome! Food was great and service was excellent by him at Media Bar and Grill!

Stuck in a hotel

Food was excellent and staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable, even made hot fudge sundaes!

Dirty, average food

By Michael L |

Mats, Silverware, glasses all dirty. Food average. Staff was very nice and was really trying but so poorly managed they just didn't know what to do.

Poor Service, pretty good bar food

By Cleverlytravel |

We checked out the menu online before going to the restaurant. When we arrived, we asked the server about a particular sandwich we wanted to order and he stated that the online menu was completely outdated and that sandwich was no longer available. This is 2017, update your website!! Our server forgot to bring us our drinks and brought out the wrong dish for our daughter. This was not a busy time for the restaurant (we have a 3 year old so it was around 5 PM). It took forever to get our bill. The food was good and the kids mac n cheese was pretty awesome. A big let down if this is a restaurant inside a "luxury" hotel.

Horrible customer service at this Hilton

By dan o |

Horrible service and customer service For a 4+ star hotel the service i experienced the past three days was horrendous. Doing all day meetings we had little time for lunch. Today at the Media poor slow service even when telling the server e asked if fries could be substituted with a $25 burger. He says yes and then charged $3 more fur a little salad. When questioned he says it's extra to substitute. The menu says $3 more for sweet potato fries, nothing about a salad. One in the party asked for a manager and explains the issue. She says it says so on the menu, which wasn't true. Manager more interested in arguing her point than making it right I told server i was on a restricted diet and could he ask the chef if i could get like a soup broth. I was told no kitchen is too busy they won't accommodate Yesterday on a time crunch i went in and asked for two coffees and a water. Hostess tells me we are too busy to get it, go to the bar The place wasn't very busy. Another time at the market store i asked a girl if i can get an extra coffee cup to reinforce the cup i had. She said it costs .75 cents and get back in the 20 minute line Definitely won't eat at this Hilton property again

Good breakfast

By beth ann k |

We ate here twice during our stay. We had appetizers one night, which were just okay. We then ate breakfast, and that was really good. In both cases, our waiters could have done a better job.

Good food slow service

By travelfam7700 |

We liked our main dishes. Dessert selection was juvenile and the one we ordered was ok. My drink was strange and weak. They remade it and it was the same. Service was slow and inattentive. If this wasn't in a hotel that doesn't have other dining options around, it would surely go out of business.

They got sports and cheering on up front, but it's a quieter eatery in the back.

By Kurt von Schleicher |

Try the New York Strip steak for dinner ..medium plus. Can't miss! I also like the substantial entree salads. Or try the cheese-onion sandwich on sourdough with tomato soup and the mushroom flat-bread. Like for lunch.

Great service, ok food

By holicow |

Don't get the fish tacos, they smell fishy and don't taste that great. The view of the atrium is nice and the staff was very helpful.

Business luncheon with the Misses

By Phil Clarkston |

Phil here again, me and the Misses had lunch at Media grill. Nice place to enjoy a meal in the hotel, and the food is pretty good as well. I had a cheeseburger and fries and the Misses had a chicken sandwich, both were tasty. Nice menu selection from burgers and salads to steaks. We will eat here again when we stay at the Anatole, nice location for a good meal.

Great interior patio!

By 4jj1970 |

I visited Media while attending a large conference this past weekend. It proved to be a great bar/rest. for a post travel and post conference day place to unwind, get some great fries and a beverage. The indoor patio was quiet and they were kind enough to let our group continue to sit there after they had called "last call". Very good service.

Good place in the Anatole

By Kathy F |

If you want some good, more healthy choices for sandwiches, etc. in the hotel, this is a good place.

Pretty good!

By delmundov |

Ate dinner here while staying at the Hilton Anatole. It's casual dining located inside the sprawling hotel complex. The food is good but nothing special. Priced reasonably. The Striped Bass was seared well and served on top of couscous.

Meh

By kfmonroe8 |

$26 cheeseburger……tasted good. Nothing to get excited about. Fries were ok, asked for cheese on the fries, got brought a very tasty bowl of queso to dip them in. Waiter was nice, several wait staff were not nice, walking around with scowls on. Wait staff in steakhouse also on property were much nicer and food was way better, yes it was way pricier but would go back there before eating at this place again.

Great bar to hang out in

By Ross S |

The bartenders and service here are very good. The food is also very tasty here. It can be very loud in the bar when it's crowded. So if you want a quiet conversation you may want to venture elsewhere.

40th birthday weekend

By mandaeh |

We chose to stay on the resort for my 40th birthday, and have dinner at Media Grill as it was more budget friendly than SER. We did have drinks at SER first, and that was a lot of fun and they have great cocktails. Excellent service at Media Grill for a really rowdy group for my birthday (Mahmood was the server I think, and did an excellent job). They did put have a back room area and my husband was able to reserve it for our party and that was great. The food was good- I didn’t have a bad appetizer and the entrees were okay to good depending on what you ordered. I had the Waffle fried chicken, and it had a bit of funnel cake type crust, but it worked; and they shoshito pepper appetizer was addictive. They topped off my birthday with a beautiful flourless chocolate cake that was gold-dusted and was delicious. They do have an in house pastry chef. A note about Media Grill- the website states that there is dancing and music on the weekends, but when we got there, we were informed that had been eliminated of late. The website should be updated to that effect as we moved my party plans to stay in the hotel because of the anticipated evening atmosphere. Also, we were very grateful for the back room, but the lighting in the room was way off and kept going on and off and dimming and at one point, one whole section of our group’s table had adequate lighting and the other end could barely see the menus. That probably needs to be looked at. And the menu was different than what was on the website. The hotel website says free kid entree with an adult entree purchase, we did not try that at this location, only the counter bar in the hotel. Dinner for two with appetizer, four drinks, a salad and two entrees was $190ish after tax and tip. All in all, it was a good meal; service was excellent.

Overpriced, did not meet simple expectations

By Kenya R |

I’m staying at the Hilton and wanted something quick to eat between my conference sessions. I ordered simple buffalo wings and they were disgusting. First, they brought my buffalo wings out pale with the sauce in a separate container. I didn’t notice until I got up to my room. The restaurant staff was very pleasant when I asked them to correct my order. When my order was brought out, I quickly checked the container and everything looked correct. When I got to my room, I noticed that the wings were a degree above room temperature. I ate a couple and then got to few that were pink in the center near the bone. I threw the remaining wings in the trash because at this point I lost my appetite and did not want to go downstairs for the second time. By the way the wings were $27. Order or go somewhere else. Too overpriced to be this wrong!

Conveniently located withing the hotel

By mariedh2015 |

Price, selection and service - thumbs up! Had lunch and dinner there and was very happy with my meals .

Nice servers just not enough

By Foodie Coach |

Good night time gathering spot but short staffed for lunch crowd. Dinner menu expensive for what it is and limited

Good service

By jillpowers |

Great place to grab a drink and quick food while watching your favorite sports game. The couches/chairs are very low, so try to get a traditional table.

Not great.

By Rebecca S |

Oh how I miss all the restaurants the Anatole used to have that provided great variety. The bar is ok at this "restaurant," but the food is overpriced and average at best....think airport restaurant food. Stick with salads if you must eat here.

A great place for food and drinks

By IrishTraveLover |

Spent a very enjoyable Friday evening here. The Media Grill and Bar is of ample size for at least 100 people. It's an indoor location in the atrium of the Hilton Anatole hotel and easy walking distance to convention rooms as well as your hotel room.

Decent service but so-so food at best

By GourrmetGourmand |

Unfortunately for a dining experience at a fancy hotel, this leaves one underwhelmed. The menu is decent however the flavors are relatively bland. Additionally they seem to run out of at least three items on the menu. Seems like a normal occurrence based on other reviews. I ended up with the mac & cheese and brisket which was OK but not my ideal choice. The server was very professional and I did not face and long wait time like other reviewers. But do you expect to pay hotel prices for your meal.

Hosted large business dinner, good service, ok food

By soquelanderson |

I hosted a business dinner at Media, hosting 12 business associates. The service was excellent, great bar service prior, great wait staff at the table especially given the very large size of my group. Enjoyed the time there. The food was good, but nothing special. I would eat here for business again.

Friendly and fast service

By Dianne W |

the waitstaff was friendly and fast service, the food was good but not great and the atmosphere was excellent.

Excellent Food and Service!

By midwesttraveler405 |

My business partner and I ate here for lunch one day, and it was so good we came back for dinner. We were attending a conference in the Anatole. :) Excellent food. The lunch rush seemed to overwhelm a bit, but the dinner service was much better. I had the chicken cobb salad, and it was phenomenal. During dinner, Dennis Rodman came in and sat next to us. Strange, but fun experience. HA Overall a great restaurant! A++

Not a pleasant experience...

By Travel4Life |

We were staying at the adjoined hotel and were very disapointed in this establishment. We ate here because of the lack of options near the hotel. The service was okay, albeit slow, but we were in no rush. Everything on the menu is overpriced. The Brisket Mac and Cheese looked very good and highly reccomended by our server. However, it tasted like Velveeta, and I would be surprised if there was more than half an ounce of ground brisket, if it was brisket in the entree. I would Uber to another restaraunt if you have the means and avoid this place.

Decent People Watching Location for Lunch

By Gary J. T |

Either table or at the bar, menu choices reasonably priced and quite taste worth. Multiple draft/bottle beer selections available to complement full bar options. Open floor plan on the front side of the grill allows for people watching while backside is a little more intimate and more for couples or small table groups. The Media Grill and Bar is a decent choice for luncheon or cocktails prior to any event or business gathering.

Disappointed

By Smomof6 |

Stick to appetizera and salads. You know it's not good if your kids won't eat all heir burgers and nor did I. Worst beef patty ever had. If staying at Anatole don'the waist your time on feet in fooled with the kids eat free with paid adult. A waist of money and food. Cheaper to go off premises

Limited Menu, Average Service

By Terri C |

Quality was just ok, nothing to write home about .. Selection was mediocre and limited. I do have to say there soups and salads were pretty good.

Quick & fun

By Cheryl I |

The food was good, but in all fairness we had eaten at another restaurant on this property earlier that is a 5*star., .SER. For a sports bar it was great. I had a burger that was good. The spring rolls were different from what is served in most Asian places, but good. Service was EXCELLENT. We had a fun time

Good food and great service

By LBHouston11 |

Fairly limited menu, and thanks to reviews, I knew it could be loud. Hosted a party of 11, and they set us up "outside" close to the atrium. Much quieter there. Waiter told us that a huge party was coming in so we should place our orders first---that was very nice. Very good and attentive service.

Dinner for Two

By Raja M |

Had a late evening bite to eat with my wife. I initially ordered the Quail and they were out of it so I ended up with something else that was okay. My wife had the shrimp pasta dish and she said it was good. We took dessert back to our room as we were staying in the hotel. Dessert was their saving grace. Due to the multiple conferences going on at the Hilton Anatole - the bar area was getting louder and louder. I don't know if someone made a complaint because Dallas Police paid them a visit while we were eating. Overall it was a good experience. If you don't order any drinks from the bar they serve you water in glass bottles, no ice offered.

The bartenders make this place great!

By Brenda K |

This restaurant is in the atrium area of the hotel and has lots of seating for people watching from the lobby. We sat at the bar and were spoiled rotten by the bartenders that afternoon. I had a Moscow Mule. It was fabulous and was served perfectly in the copper mug. The only thing we ordered from the limited (but enticing) menu was the shrimp rolls. Presentation was beautiful and they're packed with shrimp! The beers are cold and the bartenders are attentive. I would definitely recommend a stop in if you happen to be at the Anatole.

Enjoyable

By bigfundman |

A quick burger, very good!. They serve their water from bottles and kept them refilled! Really nice. Good meeting place for conversation.

Nice casual atmosphere

By Austin D |

Located in the Hilton Anatole Hotel, this restaurant offers good, what I would call, finger foods (wings, burgers, etc) in a casual setting. You can watch TV or get a drink at the bar. The wings were very good.

Great Service and food"

By Reeltr |

If the ribeye is not on the menu and you are a steak fan, ask for it, they will accommodate you. It was very good""

Excellent Food and Service

By ddmullis |

This is an excellent spot to grab a sandwich or full meal while staying at the Anatole. The service is top notch. It was one of the highlights from my recent stay at the Anatole

Average at best

By Trish M |

The food was nothing spectacular. The best part of our meal was our waiter who talked college football with us.

Great service

By Cathy |

Great service Ramon is the best . Suggested the salmon which was excellent ! The veggies were perfectly cooked and the sauce perfect.

Decent Brisket

By mrfargo2 |

Ate here for dinner one night. Menu choices were limited. I selected Beef Brisket with fries. Not expecting much from a hotel restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and tenderness of the meat. It was honestly one of the best briskets I've had in some time. Companion had fish tacos which she said was "yummy." All in all, a nice experience. Would recommend.

Tasty and Convenient

By c0rteneya |

I ate twice here for dinner. The portions are large and the pricing is to be expected for resort convenience. The service was great but my burger was significantly undercooked (pink) when ordered well done. Of course it was not discovered until I arrived back in the room with my to-go order. Overall the food was good.

Good Food

By Voyager793796 |

Food at Media was good but overpriced. We were essentially trapped in the hotel due to long conference days, so this was often a better option than Counter Offer. Hilton Anatole should open another eatery.

Too expensive!

By anniehW1126RJ |

They can get away with the prices they charge because everything else is too far away. Not worth it. For instance, a regular size candy bar was $3.25; cost $1.15 or less at Wal-Mart. That's ridiculous!

Quesidalla’s

By razorbacks11111 |

Great atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The chicken quesadilla’s were not good. They tasted like old boiled chicken (with no seasoning). I loved everything about the place except that plate.

Great atmosphere...So so food...very high prices...great service

By Olineman |

Media Bar and Grill has a cool vibe to sit and relax with friends. Just like the rest of the Hilton it is very well done and attention to detail seems important. The food here is not bad but not anything special as well. Drinks as well as the food are quite overpriced for what you would find at a comparable establishment in the area. so, you are paying for the convince of not leaving the hotel. The waitstaff and bartenders were quick, attentive and friendly which made the price a little more tolerable.

Gourmet food at reasonable prices

By Go793795 |

My friend and I ended up eating here multiple times during my stay for a business conference. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of the food. And the reasonable prices. Service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the turkey salad BLT. Be forewarned, the desserts are adaquate for sharing and very, very good.

Hotel restaurant, high prices

By Ruth P |

$15-20 burgers, not all that great, but not bad if you are staying in the hotel for a convention. Service was good, but then there were only 3 or 4 occupied tables on a Friday evening.

Great service

By Barbara N |

We were here twice while staying at the hotel. Once for lunch and back for dinner. During lunch we both had a burger. They were great. Service was good, waiter was attentive. We came back for dinner and had Frankie for a waiter. He was superb. We started with a chuccerty plate. It was only but we thought a little thin. For dinner we had an excellent dish. Pasta with wine lemon butter sauce and vegetables. . It was phoenomial.

Southern Delight

By jaime942018 |

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Anatole. I was famished from a long day of work, therefore I decided to grab a meal at the Media Bar and Grill before heading back to my room. I was promptly greeted by a stellar gentleman by the name of Isaac. Unsure of what to order, my server, Isaac, recommended I try the buttermilk fried chicken with a watermelon compressed salad and drizzled tabasco honey on top. Truthfully, it was the most delicious delicacy I ever had the honor of devouring. I would surely recommend this place to anyone who visits Dallas.

Average

By Hencat |

Tortilla soup was good, pork buns mediocre. Bun was stale, meat was small and not juicy. Service was freiendly enough. I'd venture out if you can.

Good Food Stop If In The Area

By gmou0 |

Not a bad choice for food when in the Stemmons area. Everything is well-done and service is decent. Not cuisine but who cares when you looking for someone decent to eat?

Tasty quick bites

By jimcubed |

Food was tasty and delivered quickly. Bartender was by himself and still very friendly even though he was busy.

Not very much for the price.

By mbriley2016 |

For the cost you would think you would get a better selection. Need more appetizers and more meat selections.

Good options for hotel food.

By WorkTraveler18 |

While I wish there had been more options as there is no where to walk to the food was good and the customer services was great.

Located in Hilton

By LNess70 |

This is the main restaurant in the Hilton and they have decent food and drinks. The one downfall is that if you are trying to have a social dinner, it is too noisy. The acoustics do not provide an opportunity to engage in good conversation over a meal.

Media Grill and Bar

By Steven K |

one of the restaurants in Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Was in the lobby. reasonably kid friendly menu but limited selections for adults. Kids under 12 you DO eat free with adult purchased entree. Service was fairly slow. Servers were friendly. Food was pretty good.

Good food and decent value

By Briana81 |

The food at Media is surprisingly good and the prices aren't bad either. Really good brisket mac and cheese!

OK bar food with a limited menu.

By B H |

VERY limited menu. One burger, a few salads and finger foods. During a one week convention, this became really boring.

Ali was the best server I've ever had!

By forever_yours_390 |

I was in Dallas for a conference at the Hilton Anetole and didn't have the energy to head out with everyone else in my group so I opted to dine in. After my dreadfully long day I simply wanted to relax back in my room but decided to try dinner downstairs. I was seated promptly and away from the happy hour folks at the bar which I appreciated. Ali was my server for the evening and he did an excellent job. I sat in the restaurant on my tablet eating dinner and enjoying a few cocktails and never once did it feel rushed or abandoned. Regardless of how many tables Ali had big and small alive he gave us all the same kind treatment. There was a Manager walking around making sure everyone was okay and stopping by tables to get feedback on everyone's dining experience. I had the tofu which was beyond a doubt the best tofu I've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone and recommend a raise or promotion for Ali.

How can a hotel restaurant/bar serve cold food?

By dermgoddess |

Came here at 9:00 pm and ordered soup.....15 minutes later the waiter appeared and said the kitchen ran out. Second choice was available came out to the table lukewarm!!! The waiter eventually stopped by and took it off the menu. Figured I would give it another chance... big mistake! Now waiting 20 minutes to see IF they can locate mint for a Mojito. Oh.. and did I mention the gentleman sitting next to me ordered a well done hamburger and 39 minutes later a RARE hamburger was delivered!!!

Go for the food stay for the service!

By Terry22Mann |

My company was staying at the Hilton Anatole for a conference in Dallas, TX. A few of my colleagues and I were starving for a quick bite and decided to stop at Media. Right from the start our server was attentive and professional. He recommended just about everything I ordered and I was far from disappointed. He was on top of the game, and made us feel like the only table in the room. Bravo to you Media for finding someone as passionate about their job as our server Isaac. I will most certainly be recommending Media and him to any colleagues I find heading to the last me star state.

Only Restaurant Open at Hotel!

Eclectic tapas-style yummies

I dug the "Moth Balls" (aka, fried cheese in a white sauce) and my friends thought the Fried Chicken Skin (ugh) was yummy. Skip the asparagus. The Fig and Pig had a delicious sauce but the "pig" part was pure fat.

Media Grill and Bar Review

By 1355 |

The menu was rather limited but all of the food I had there was very good. It is rather pricey for what you get. A glass of beer will cost about $8 and a hamburger about $15. The wait staff was very good and very nice. Couldn't complain about the service, excellent for this.

Pricey, small selection

By Kirsten S |

It wasn't bad, but they didn't have a huge selection. I got a grilled cheese for $11 and it was the cheapest on the menu. Food was good, waitstaff was friendly. Was really cool to watch the artwork move that's hanging in the lobby.

Great Service

By Wayne S |

Had dinner here. Excellent service from Sharif. The food was good and the atmosphere very nice. Had a wonderful berry salad and a shrimp dish.
