Try MEESHA now

By Sunny H. |

Visited for a summer date night and did not disappoint. Two starters, one main, and one side was perfect for two. Menu offers a wide range of modernized Indian dishes, and has plenty of Vegetarian options. Really out runs it’s TA rating for Fremont. The butter chicken dish was specifically a highlight.

Good food!

Went for dinner with some friends and had a great time. We had panfried rockfish, lamb sliders, butter chicken, lamb chops, olives, some sort of vegetables and kulcha bread. My favorite was the sliders and rockfish. The food was prepared well and flavorful. Staff were very friendly. On street parking. Highly recommend!

More Meesha please!

Fabulous food, charming atmosphere, attentive service. Covered heated patio dining was very comfortable at 47F. Deep, well balanced and complex flavors. The vegetarian options more than pleased my carnivorous husband. So much more to explore. We'll be back soon.

Food good. Service lacking.

Food was ver good. Service was not. Our server rushed us despite the fact that the restaurant was not full and there was no one waiting.

Indian Fusion just missed the mark

By bhaj |

A new restaurant for us. It was very nice. The spice configuration was pretty good. I expected a little more from this Indian fusion restaurant Pros: Pakoras were light and varied; the moong dal halwas dessert was the best part of the dinner. It was fabulous. The moong dal was an unexpected and terrirfic choice. The Karahi baingan was nice Cons: The Kasundi maach was okay, a little overcooked. MIght retrun might not.

Fantastic and creative food, with terrible service

By Neil L |

My partner and I ate at Meesha for Valentine's Day, when they had a fixed price menu. All of the food was exceptionally good. I particularly loved the rava uttapam rolled around a tender roast chicken preparation. However, we were seated one-half hour after our reservation, and there was no place to wait inside on a cold and rainy night. The service was terrible, and I felt particularly badly for the couple seated next to us: the waiter asked them to leave to free up their table for additional guests - BUT THEY HADN'T EVEN BEEN SERVED THEIR FINAL COURSE YET! In our case, we were never served one of the courses listed on the menu (the palette cleanser), I suspect to allow them to turn the table more quickly. For more than $200/person for this special meal we expected better service to go with our stellar food.

Tasty dinner

We ordered a real breath of appetizers and mains. We enjoyed all the dishes. The fish was particularly good. Same for the nan bread. Service was OK. The prices are very affordable for what you get.

Delicious Indian-inspired cuisine

By Helmut |

At first I was slightly concerned, because fusion cuisine can go south easily. Not in this case. Every plate was delicious and well balanced - a highlight being the dessert. Portions were small (some like it, some do not...). Service is friendly and attentive and overall the evening was extremely pleasurable. I recommend sitting in the patio as the inside of the restaurant is quite loud. Vaccine cards were not checked, however, I think this was because we were sitting outside. Definitely coming back.

Unbelievably good, worth every penny!

At Meesha, we enjoyed positively the best Indian meal we have ever experienced. Their dishes are unique blends of ingredients and spices unlike anything served at other restaurants, and the flavors and textures are superb. We started with the Burrata salda with spiced chickpease, shishito peppers and kulcha bread, along with the Heirloom carrots, ancient grains, harissa yogurt, pine nuts and mint. As mains, we shared the Kasundi maach: seared black cod, spicy mustard sauce, ginger - absolutely the most delicious, buttery, melt-in-your mouth fish ever with superlative flavors! Also, the Goan prawns with green mango, coconut sauce, curry leaves - equally delicious. Even our drinks, the Saffron Cardamom Lassi and Jaljeera (mango, mint, cumin, lime, agave) were unbelievably good, and unlikely anything we had tasted before. Meesha is NOT TO BE MISSED, an awesome experience.

Very Good but at a Price

By Road Warrior |

We enjoyed the food here. It reminded me of the chic modern Indian restaurants in London. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, not over cooked like so many places typically do. The flavors stand up to the preparation. The presentation was contemporary, though all four of our appetizers and entrees were tan or brown in color - maybe some more creativity needs to be directed at that. The main limitation here is the cost. For a party of two, we ordered two appetizers, 2 entrees, two small sides of rice, two desserts, and two mocktails. The portions were reasonable but not large so we finished everything. The limitation is that how often can one eat at a restaurant like this if the total cost with tax and tip is over $170 for two? I get that things are escalating fast everywhere in Seattle and around the country, but if this is the new normal I hope their business model does not expect most folks to dine very often.
