I ordered from here to be delivered to my home. The food tasted very good, the portions were reasonable, and the prices according. I ordered a Pastitsio for dinner and a Galaktoboureko as dessert. Both tested very good, but still my fav place for Greek food is Mykonos

We had a beautiful and pleasant evening tasting delicious Greek food. The waitress, who was Greek, knew how to suggest us to order the most delicious delicacies and to enjoy an excellent Greek wine. We overenjoyed it and will definitely visit Meraki again :)

After walking by this place several times we decided to go to Meraki with a group of 6 for our last night out in Coconut Grove. The food looked great and the place was hopping from lunch to dinner. We had a reservation for 7pm and were there when the restaurant was only 1/3 occupied but it filled up by 7:30. All looked great until we waited and waited for our main courses. After 45 minutes we started asking what was up and could not get an answer. Tables that came in after us were getting their food and one or two gave up and left that had our experience. After speaking with the manager we got our food in stages between 60 and 75 minutes after our order went in. Great taste and presentation for most but my medium rare lamb chops were well-done and I gave up, sending them back without a replacement. To say "sorry" they brought a small tray of dessert samples -- without any plates. Our bill arrived full-price. This looks like such a great place and most of the food looked and smelled fantastic, but the service/attitude and delay completely ruined everything, a total disaster. Such a let-down. If you want to enjoy the food you better go when they are not busy about 5:00 for dinner. Food 4-stars plus, Service a zero.

Cozy atmosphere, nice Greek music and tasty food!! We had a beautiful evening in this place. The lovely Greek waitress makes us experience the Mediterranean culture and spirit with a very nice hospitality!!!

Made a booking for 7.30pm arrived in good time and was told to sit anywhere ( we chose by the window) 5 minutes later very rude male manager approached to say we can’t sit there I have a table of 40 people coming in!! Ok well I booked also but I will move on this occasion. Ordered food another 10 minute passes was told to move again as they needed more room for the huge party they had. Again we moved waited 45 mins for food , asked manager after 30 mins was told he would check he never did or came back to us. Food eventually arrived. Was ok. My family often visit from the uk and friends from miami visit this place often but that will be the last time, never felt so unwelcome and spoken to so rudely by a manager in a restaurant in my life. More concerned about making money from a large party that a couple of people.

Excelent find in the Grove. Worth trying. The lambs skewer platter are delicious and cooked to perfection. Rare in the middle and brown outside.

Very good small storefront Greek restaurant. Nice menu selections. Good service. Would definitely return.

Wonderful experience. Nice place, with outside (sidewalk) tables: not particularly fancy or luxurious, but lovely and consistent with its Greek theme. Service was simply outstanding. While it was a team effort, shoutout to Irma, who went out of her way to make a seamless dining experience for our group, so there was no unnecessary waiting time, yet never rushed or pressured. The food was simply extraordinary. A party of three wanting to explore Greek food, we stuck to the Mezedes section of the menu, and they did not disappoint. The Mezes & Trio plate was a wonderful sampler, and, following Irma's recommendations, we tried the Saganaki, which was much more than we bargained for, the shrimp saganaki, which was very good, as was the crispy fried calamari, and the marinated grilled octopus, which was simply to die for. Being absolutely illiterate when it comes to Greek wine, we asked for a recommendation, and were treated to a wounderful white from Santorini, Sigalas Aa. Loved it! Paired beautifully with the food, and had a fair price. It is important to note they do not have a full bar, so they only sell wine and beer. All in all, an absolute hidden gem in Coconut Grove.

Excellent Greek food and wine! Service is great. Casual and quiet! Appetizers and main courses and baklava!

Meraki is a very apt name for this peerless Greek bistro since it entails: artistry, soul; and above all, remarkable, unquestionable hospitality and warmth, especially lavishly "catered" by María, the only Greek waitress who despite of having set foot in the Us barely a month ago, graciously: made us feel home because she Did Do a Class Act on Courtesy, Empathy, Thoughtfulness, let alone professionalism. Rest assured, this won't be my only visit to this fabulous place shrouded by a Magic Atmosphere that emulates the legendary shrines found in continental and insular Greece; thus, I do suggest enjoying this sui generis gastronomic temple.

We ordered Kalamaki souvlaki platter and Certa seafood with linguine. Both are excellent. We would go there again.

It’s easy to drive by the unassuming Greek Islands and think to yourself, “Hey, there goes another regular ol’ Greek restaurant.” But this deceptively casual spot is special—and a Miami classic. This is mostly because they serve some of the best Greek food in all of South Florida. They don’t do trendy little tapas, but big dishes perfect for hungry friends who are ready to smell like garlic for the next couple hours. a platter of four excellent dips served with warm pita. The lamb chops are a good idea too, but there are no bad decisions here, especially if it involves feta cheese or olive oil.

Excellent Greek restaurant in Coconut Grove. Have eaten at Meraki for brunch, lunch and dinner during our stay in the area. All meals were excellent: eggs benedict with crab, mussels, and shrimp dinner. Serve excellent and comfortable atmosphere on back patio.

We ate in a delightful back courtyard. The service was excellent. Our server was very Helpful in selecting dishes. Our food was wonderful. I will eat here again.

Our hotel staff at the Mayfair House recommended Meraki, and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional—our servers were constantly checking in, refilling water and wine glasses, and making sure we were welcomed. We ordered the hummus, saganaki, and red snapper with Greek salad, and by the end, we were completely stuffed and very happy. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, they brought out the most incredible baklava I’ve ever had—better than any I’ve tasted in the United States or Greece. Somehow, we finished every bite. I only wish this place existed in our hometown… although maybe it’s for the best that it doesn’t, or GLP-1s would definitely be in my future!

Meraki has delicious dishes and the environment is excellent! We ordered some apettizers and lamb. Is was very tasteful experience! I strongly recommend

The food is excellent. Ambience is excellent. Just make sure all employees are wearing masks all the time. One employee was not wearing a mask.
Greek Gem in the Grove
Finally got myself to go to Meraki and what a great idea it was! The service is impeccable, the food delicious and the decor makes you feel like you are actually in Greece! We made reservations because the little gem is always full, upon arrival we were promptly seated in the garden area at the back of the restaurant (yes, we chose outside in Miami heat). The manager was so accommodating he made sure we had fans pointing in our direction to keep us from dying in the humidity and heat. All throughout our dinner both managers kept doing the rounds to make sure everything was good with us and the service. Our waitress was continuously coming around filling our water glasses and attentive to anything we needed. We ordered the Hummus and the Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) for starters and both were delicious. I'm from middle eastern decent and prefer the grape leaves to be served hot but they were delicious either way. The goat cheese and beet salad was delicious and I added a lamb kabob to it - outstanding!. The lamb kabob platter comes with 2 kabobs, fries, tomatoes and pita bread - excellent and the fries were amazing. The Mykonos seafood platter comes with lobster tail, colossal shrimp and three huge scallops served with pasta, which was also very good. They do have a seafood pasta dish which is cheaper. The red sangria was very refreshing albeit a bit expensive at $18 but it was all worth it. I really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it. They have happy hour monday - friday from 3 pm - 6 pm too. Parking is available behind Green Streets or at the garage in Coco Walk.
