ZERO STARS. Still FUMING from our terrible experience this evening. Sat at bar with my fiancé for a small bite and a drink. Carlos the bar tender literally acted like I was bothering him while ordering our food but was eager and excited to serve drinks and toast tequila with a table to the left!! Our food came out separate and luke warm 4 and 7 mins after we ordered. I specially mentioned to Jesus that it was hectic energy and the cleaning of the drink pans/drains 2 inches from our food was not sitting well. He proceeds to MIX AND SPLASH LIQOUR on our food AND my fiancé! He brings the manager HELEN who had the same condensing attitude while pretending to care about our concern. I just told her if it was close enough to closing time that they provide zero to no customer service just say you aren’t taking anymore customers vs giving us beyond terrible experience and still wanting FULL payment for your lackluster food and terrible experience and customer service. I had to sign up just to write this review and encourage anyone reading to pick some where else for apps and a drink in Victory Park. You’re welcome! & for Helen, I will make it my duty that someone is aware of how badly you and bartender Carlos need coaching and training!

We ate here early in the evening, and the place was already full. The place was energetic for sure. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The cocktails were well prepared and seemed to have fresh ingredients. The food included most of the usual suspects, but there were some unusual offerings as well. Overall, a good experience.

Two NY'ers visiting Dallas looking for good Mexican food. We weren't disappointed. We sat outdoors and they had heaters to provide warmth. The servers were polite. Margaritas were excellent. Chips and salsa appetizer tasty. The puerco posilla was tasty. Meat tender. My son had the enchilada and he said it was the best he had. And, for dessert, Cinco Leches. Wow. Moistest most delicious tasting vanilla layer I've had. Definitely recommend.

This upscale Mexican restaurant has attracted quite the following in the Victory Park community. Great food, super drinks, and attentive staff. Great place for a 'date night" or just 'date-anytime'.

Just passing by and my wife and I wanted to refreshed, very pleasant surprise, cool tequila or mezcal mixed drinks and complementary chips and salsa, not your run of the mill salsa, 3 different good authentic salsas. Sadly we were full so didn’t try their food but looked fantastic for our mexican eyes.

Walking distance from AAC in Victory Park. Service was terrific - we were able to make reservations and get in and out before a Stars game. Fresh chips and homemade, unusual salsas. Varied menu including seafood.

The chips with three salsas were complimentary and all delicious. I had the braised pork and couldn’t even finish half. The flavor was amazing and the grilled veggies that is came with were perfect. Definitely enough to share. My husband got the brisket tacos - sorry no pics. The Elote was the best I have ever had and at $4 it is an amazing deal. The service was super speedy. Maybe 15 minutes from ordering to receiving our meal. We didn’t get any cocktails, but the ones coming out looked amazing. My only regret is that I didn’t save any room for dessert. A Basketball game had just got out so it was packed by the time we left but the staff was hustling. Ho early getting such a wonderful meal under $50 with lots of leftovers was a bargain.

My Verde chicken enciladas were very good, but my wife's fish tacos were pretty awful. The fish may not have been fully coooked or perhaps was not very fresh, but in any case it did not taste good. Our waiter seemed indifferent and did not pay much attention to us.

Mesero has the safe and comfortable dining experience figured out during these times. Enjoyed a great lunch with friendly and terrific service. Chips and salsa amazing. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Mexcian Martini is a must try drink. Look forward to returning.

Wonderful food and not expensive at all. Great fun atmosphere in the heart of Victory Park. Before or after the game can be quite busy, but it’s worth it.
Great evening!
Everything was wonderful but our waiter Oscar was superb! He was so knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and fun to hang with!!!!
