Had a wonderful lunch on the patio today at the brand new Mexican Sugar on Belt Line in Addison! Service was attentive and hospitable, food and margs were great, patio is a vibe! We will be back for Happy Hour!

Love this place!!! The ambiance is so fabulous. Food is great and service is excellent. Big shout out to Jen at the bar. She epitomizes what it's like to make you feel welcome and goes above and beyond. It is because of her that we keep coming back. What a great addition to the area. At++. Oh and I didn't mention the drinks. From the margarita to the fresh aqua friescas. Just yum!!! Great happy hour, too! The chips and salsa is unbelievable. I don’t know what they put in that salsa, but damn!! Favorite dishes: shrimp & elote tacos, fajitas, carne asada tacos. Update: just when i couldn’t praise this place enough, Jarrod made me want to update my review. It’s rare to find a place where management & staff go above and beyond to make a place welcoming. I cannot emphasize how much i love this place. Thanks to all the staff - especially Jen and Jarrod. You ROCK!!!

I loved our experience here! The restaurant is beautiful. It is cozy and the decor is stunning. They have a great happy hour and we really enjoyed the cocktails. This location has a few specialty items “from the hearth” that is unique to them! The tlayuda Mexican flatbread was crispy and flavorful. Loved the flan! Creamy and delicious. Definitely check this spot out

Mexican Sugar Addison is absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with beautiful décor and a lively vibe that’s perfect for any occasion — from casual happy hour to a special night out. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared — every dish is packed with bold, delicious flavors. The cocktails are just as impressive, crafted with care and creativity (you must try their margaritas!). What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your experience memorable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!
