I was skeptical when my Uber dropped me off and this was in a strip mall. The food was wonderful. I loved the chips with the oil and zatar spice to the mango chicken. Too much and too bid. Unfortunately I was by myself. I would go back again.

They have consistently have good food... Sit inside too. Better than the palm Fast service too also the lamb is good too and their rice

The restaurant is perfect for intimate dinners, family gatherings, and special occasions, providing a memorable experience.

This place is amazing , the best Mediterranean food I have ever had . I'm from Los Angeles and have never had such a great meal. Alex was the best waiter he was very accommodating. I wish you had one of these in California. Thank you again for the great experience.

Mezza Grille has become my all time favorite restaurant, unassuming, and plain good food. My entire family celebrates special occasions here. The new zealand lamb chops are fantastic, but two of my favorites are the seafood skewers and the Texas Gulf Coast platter and both can be shared.

From being greeted through our post-dining coffee, Mezza Grille was a wonderful dining experience. The menu had fresh choices, great evening special options, and our server was the right balance of genuinely attentive but not intrusive.

The food was amazing. Me and my friends tried several items and enjoyed all of our selections. I would recommend as a place to enjoy the awesome food in an adult casual setting.

This is a nice restaurant with good service and a decent menu. The menu focuses on Mediterranean fare such as hummus, fattoush salad, kebabs but also has roasted vegetables, and pasta dishes. I took a star off because of an out of control toddler. It was unfortunate that a family with young children was so inconsiderate - they allowed them to run around the restaurant screeching - it ruined the experience. I fully understand that the restaurant leadership doesn’t want to cause drama but there has to be a way to address this kind of horrific behavior. I may go back but it’s unlikely.

Just went to grab dinner tonight, and definitely craving Mediterranean food. Mezza grille absolutely filled that craving. For dinner I had the Kufta kabob entreé, which was full of flavor. Although what topped it off was the Coconut tres leches. The fluffiness of the tresleches melts In your mouth. Also has great texture, from the crispy toasted coconut shavings that are right on top. Overall love the ambiance the restaurant creates with the amazing service I received. Definitely will be coming back, there are a couple things on the menu I definitely wanna try.

In town on business and was looking for a nice spot and found it on trip advisor. It was quiet due to a Monday and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and suggested 2 different kabob options based on the conversation. The kabobs came out cooked a very good medium rare, as requested. Presentation was very nice and the quality and flavor was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant with fresh and delicious food items. A great place to meet your family and friends for an evening of good food. The grilled chicken kabobs are a favorite item on the menu with a wonderful rice side dish.

We visit the Mezza Grille about once every month or two and we've always been very satisfied. I like the Lebanese food and my partner likes the Italian food. I've had both and they're both great - I just prefer the Lebanese dishes.

Had the salmon salad and bacon sandwich and it was superb! Omar our waiter was awesome! My friends and I had a great time.

Actually from them renovating the place to the menu they have a pretty large selection of things the flavor and the dishes are pretty well season the only thing I don't like is the hummus I will come back here but it's quite expensive for four people but it's worth stopping in at least to try one time

We have gotten food to go at many restaurants in our area the last few months but this one tops the list for a superior meal. Everything was ready to go when we arrived and it didn't need to be reheated when we got home. The seasoning and preparation made our at home meal phenomenal. I have used them before for catering and am never disappointed.. This is one of Houston's best!

For about 10 years, I have been going to Mezza for lunch about twice a month and the food is consistently excellent. I love the fried pita chips they bring when you are seated - but can’t eat them anymore on my current diet. The lunch specials are large portions and a decent value. My favorite is the kefta beef kebab - usually as a salad, and sometimes as a wrap. The wrap comes with French fries, which are crispy and delicious. The chicken swarma is also very good. Service is usually attentive and fast, unless the place is full. Highly recommend Mezza.

Haven’t been here in a while and they’ve updated the restaurant. No more booths and a lighter feel to the room. Same good service and yummy food though. My girlfriend and I both had the bruschetta appetizer as our entrees and it was wonderful - full of beautiful and tasty tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil and shaved Parmesan served with toasted bread. Light, filling and sooo refreshing. We both agreed - the perfect lunch dish. My only suggestion to management: turn the volume down on the music. It was way too loud and hampered conversation. Other than that, we can’t wait to go back.

Just had a GNO at Mezza and we were all blown away by the wine selection, super yummy food options and great service. We had Alex as our server and he was super attentive, so polite, very helpful and a wonderful addition to an already great experience. We will definitely be back!

We had an unpleasant experience at lunch recently. There were three couples. We asked our server to split the check and were told they wouldn’t do that. The food and the service were fine, which is the only reason I gave three stars. When the check came, we asked if we could give her three credit cards and split it evenly. Once again, we were told no. This meant two of the couples had to come up with enough cash to pay the person that put the whole meal on his credit card. This is customer service at its worst. Most people don’t carry much cash. They were obviously more interested in accommodating themselves, rather than their customers. By comparison, we went to Los Tios the same night with another couple. Our server split the check without our even asking. I doubt we’ll come back to Mezza Grill unless it’s just the two of us.

We met relatives in town for late lunch/early dinner. Nice atmosphere! Amazing food. We will definitely be back again

The food is always wonderful. Service is pleasant. Prefer the old decor. Don't like the way it has been changed. Even the take-outs are great.

This restaurant was a great find in Houston. We had excellent service and delicious food. The wine list was varied and reasonable. The menu had many choices and you were allowed to customize items to your taste. We had a great meal and would go back.

I moved to Houston 1 year ago and this is by far the most delicious meal I’ve had by far. The Mango stuffed chicken is bursting with flavor and is simply a must have. Our waiter Omar complimented the delectable meal with his excellent service. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed! P.S. the strawberry mule is a great way to unwind.

We love Mezza Grille. They have a wide variety of dishes from burgers and salads to gourmet foods like lamb chops, steaks and seafood and everything we have tried is always well prepared. Great place to meet friends. Not noisy so no problem having a conversation. Attractive contemporary decor and good service. Full bar and moderate wine list.

My family enjoyed the best meal we have had in a long while in Houston. So happy to write this review. Mezza is an American grill with Mediterranean flavors and offered the best of both cuisines. It is a FUSION concept and it excels in that genre. Side note - I have a gluten intolerance and they were able to bring me delicious GF chips with the appetizer . What a nice bonus!! We had the brie appetizer - perfectly yummy! The bread eaters loved the grilled bread with it along with walnuts and jam. For mains we had the spicy lamb which was Moroccan influenced with raisins in the rice and a nutmeg flavor on the lamb. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. Two of us shared the Mango chicken and again it was perfectly seasoned and prepared. My picky eater gobbled it up and wants to come back ASAP for more. We didn't have deserts as we had plans to go to the chocolate shop Zeina next door but we will have to try them on our next visit. We were their last table on a Sunday night and we had awesome service and beautifully prepared dishes. Jay was attentive and helpful with ordering. Five stars and a definite return visit!!

I have been to Mezza several times for lunch but never have had dinner there. I really like this place. The menus had enough choices that everyone can something to their liking. The prices are a bit high which prevents me from going more often, but if you're looking for something a bit different and don't mind treating yourself you can't go wrong with Mezza.

We went to Mezza Grille prior to a Josh Groban concert a few months ago. We'd never been and selected it because of the great reviews it had; and it lived up to all of them. Probably the best meal I've had in years! The service was great, the food was delicious, and the price was not unreasonable. We loved it.

I dined at this restaurant earlier today with about 30 coworkers, enjoying a holiday lunch courtesy of my director. A special 3-course menu was created for us. I had the lobster bisque soup as my first course and it was the right texture, taste and heat, and a touch of cilantro. My second course was a lemon butter fish (Tilapia filet) with shrimp, mushrooms, veggies and potatoes. There was also a blackened fish option, but most of us chose the lemon butter option and it was the best! It was absolutely delicious and the right quantity. My best dish was the Coconut tres leches. I am a lil biased here, but I looooove tres leches so I'm usually not happy if it's not done right. I cleaned my plate clean (can I say clean twice?) It was perfect. I also had the Pineapple dream cocktail and loved it. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant with le hubby to sample other items. The bonus dessert is the white chocolate bread pudding. I didn't try it, but my colleagues who did said it was amazing. This restaurant earned a 5 from me.

I have eaten at Mezza Grille approximately 5-6 times. I've honestly never tasted any entree (either mine or that of a companion) thatI didn't think was delicious. The pasta dishes are a favorite (namely curry fettuccini with pumpkin seeds and dried currants and the mango stuffed chicken).

Mango chicken was delicious. Calamari amazing! My husband did not enjoy lamb shank and I was disappointed in the coconut tres leches. Everyone who worked here was super friendly!

Came here with my girlfriend and I have to applaud the chef because the food was absolutely incredible. We had a mix of the hummus, lamb chops and chicken shawarma. Definitely going back for the food and the quick service too. Our waiter was always on alert and quickly attended to us when needed. 10/10

Came for lunch with a coworker and have been back every week since the beginning of February. Food is great, prices are decent, service is exceptional and the atmosphere is perfect for any setting. Highly recommend if you need something quick and filling. Definitely my new go to spot in the Galleria area.

We came here to celebrate our one year anniversary and the whole experience was excellent, from the hostess, to our waitress whos name was Tina Who gave exceptional service and the food was excellent as well. I cant wait to come back. If you want to experience an excellent restaurant with A++++++ service come here and request Tina. She made our evening special.

Our food was delicious, prepared perfectly and great service. The only negative would be that all the tables are in one large room and it is a little noisy and hard to talk.

One of my favorite places in houston to eat. Priced right, this place rivals some if the nicer places in houston. Her literally anything and itll knock your socks off! The lamb shanks are best in Houston easily!!

Lovely, casual Mediterranean with emphasis on fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff is attentive without being overbearing and eager to make your experience a pleasant one. I cannot describe in detail the experience of eating their hummus for fear of being censored! Trust me, it is absolute perfection. Just bring the bowl and give me a spoon!!!

We’ve been coming her for many years...it’s gone through some changes,for the better, but we miss some of the old menu items. Hands down the best fatoush salad, red pepper dip, and hummus! They’re mango chicken is delicious, but big enough to share.

Lydia was knowledgeable, affable and such a delight to be served by! My friend and I sat outside for a pleasant dinner before the show and the location did not disappoint. Tucked away in a shopping center but enough foliage to focus on your dining experience. Lydia checked on us frequently and made the whole night a lot brighter! We will be back.

I have been going to Mezza for over 10 years. This restaurant never disappoints. The wine list is vast, the food is excellent, the presentation of the dish is spectacular. Service at the bar is excellent with a knowledgeable server. The beef tenderloin salad is my go to.

My wife and I went to Mezza Grille on a Thursday evening to celebrate our anniversary. We had made a reservation and arrived at 6:30pm. There was no need for a reservation as there were plenty of tables available that evening. Our server brought us some homemade bread chips with some spiced up olive oil for dipping. ( Very Good ) We ordered appetizers, spinach artichoke dip and crab cakes. The artichoke dip was average but very good, the crab cakes were large and tasty. We both ordered soup.She ordered spicy tortilla soup and I had roasted chipotle lobster bisque. Both of the soups were excellent. We were getting somewhat full by this time so we decided to split an entree, We chose Mango stuffed chicken. This was absolutely delicious and huge. Impossible for one person to finish the entire plate. We then split two deserts, white chocolate bread pudding and a chocolate mousse cake made with white and dark chocolate mousse and an Oreo crust. Wow !! Our server Leo was attentive and suggested many different foods and combinations. As you can tell by our selections the menu has many unique dishes. All of our selections were served in large portions. There is no skimping at this restaurant. Large portions of very good food. This was our first time here, I'm sure we will return.

I have mixed feelings on this restaurant. The service was prompt, the waiter very attentive and courteous and frankly everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. My meal, the red snapper with sauce was incredibly salty, although it did taste fresh it was too bad I couldn’t enjoy it. I’d be willing to give this place a second chance.

We had dinner at Mezza Grill during Houston Restaurant Weeks in August, and all selected a meal from the pre-fixe Restaurant Weeks Menu. The most memorable dish was the stuffed chicken breast. Dessert was a hit with Creme Brûlée among the choices. Wine list is long and very reasonable, the service was flawless. We arrived just before a significant rush. Once the restuarant filled, it was obvious that over half of the tables were neighborhood locals and repeat guests. If you have to wait for a table, the bar was nice and spacious. This restaurant is known as Italian, but I would refer to it as italian Fusion since many of the dishes have a Southwestern or Latin American flair to them. We will definitely go back.

We had a great experience at Mezza Grill. Our waiter Omar was very attentive and he made a great suggestion of the chicken tortilla soup, I would definitely order that again. The spicy lamb with rice was good although it did have too many almonds and walnuts therefore a little on the dry side however, I asked for the garlic sauce that comes with the shish kabob dish and that made it much better. My friend had the spicy beef tenderloin chipotle pasta and it was the perfect amount of spicy and the beef was cooke to perfection! Overall, I had a great first experience At Mezza and I’ll definitely come back to try other dishes. The whole menu looked good!

Went for dinner one saturday night. Not to busy when we arrived and was seated quickly. They do take reservations as well. Was given some chips with oil and spices as we were seated and our water glasses never got below 1/4 full before they were being filled. Service was very good. Food was excellent. My husband ordered the butter chicken and added a cup of the Tortilla soup. I got the grilled veg salad and added the Shish Tawook. the salad was excellent, fresh spring mix and the gilled vegetables were good late slices and grilled perfectly The creamy garlic dressing was also very good. The grilled chicken pieces was excellent, still moist and the flavor was so good. My husband really enjoyed the soup and his butter chicken he was highly impressed with. they had a good size bar and good wine list for those who enjoy their mixed drinks or glass of wine. Will go back when in that area of Houston.

I'm from Houston and kept seeing this restaurant show up as a top restaurant near me. We took a group here for dinner and was very dissapointed. Houston has some fabulous restaurants and especially Mediteranean that you can't be meh to be on a top list. Wont come back. I dont think Tripadvisor is the best place for local information on restaurants because locals don't come here for a search.

Food was wonderful! Hummus was delicious and a bit of spiciness. For entree we had risotto with shrimp, crab meat, and scallops. Very good. Service was fantastic. Very friendly. atmosphere was great. We will be back. Cappuccino was good at the end.

Went here because of ratings and looking for Greek style gluten free dairy free food. The waitress told us that the marinades have butter. So my husband could only get the grilled chicken and salad. We also had the humus and it did not smell or tasted fresh. I got the chicken kabobs. That came with an excellent rice. That dish was good.

Sat on the bar side at the tables and we were treated to excellent service after just stopping in by chance. Low key but pleasant atmosphere allowed for easy conversation. Great wait staff with much better than average food. Enjoyed it all and looking forward to the next time by...

Grilled vegetable salad was made to perfection. Veggies were lightly grilled and served warm on top of a bed of greens tossed in a delicious dressing with feta, olives and sun dried tomato.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Houston! Everything I have tried on the menu has been delicious. You can really tell they make the food fresh and with the very best ingredients. The salmon salad with the sun-dried tomato dressing is my go to order but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is chic while being cozy and the wait staff is very attentive. We have used the restaurant for catering before and all of our guests were raving about it for weeks afterwards! Couldn’t recommend enough :)

Best consistent food in town get the chicken mango and the rice is good too no reservations needed and plenty of parking..

We enjoyed dinner here last night and highly recommend this gem. Don’t let the strip mall location and the hall type Decor fool you. This chef puts out extremely flavorful food with great service. We enjoyed the calamari which is made in house. It was light crispy and the dipping sauce was excellent. We also enjoyed the seafood risotto and the mixed grill. Best kabobs in many years. In closing unpretentious spot with excellent food.

I had a filet and Sarah had a vegetarian plate. We hit the salad bar and had a nice time. The service is always good as is the cuisine. Try the quail poppers. Great place to dine.

Mezza Grill is my favorite restaurant in Houston. I can most honestly say that everything I have ordered was just plain wonderful and full of wonderful Mediterranean flavors. In particular, I’d like to commend the management on theirgreat servers. Lydia served us last time. She really is special. She is good-natured, efficient, professional, and very funny. Love her and will be looking for her next time.

By the numbers: #1, Shay at the bar was a wonderful host; #2, the chips and herb oil was excellent with the cheese chips; #3, food tonight was consistently hot when it arrived, a surprisingly difficult thing for many places to manage; #4, the calamari app was perfect; #5, the snapper was not overdone (again, not typical), and the sides -- scalloped potatoes and spinach -- were really good; #6, the seafood platter was all very well done. The scallops and the shrimp were at perfect temp; and finally, the bread pudding was not, in my experience, what bread pudding should be. However, we ate every bit of it. It was delicious. All in all, highly recommended....

First time visiting. With 100's of Middle Eastern venues in Houston you can get a bit jaded.There is a sameness in decor and menu selection that can become boring. While Mezza has the expected atmosphere its menu variety and food taste do set it apart from others in this crowed category. Service was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable. I had some of my regular favorites and found the taste and presentation superior to many. I'd recommend Mezza to either newcomers to Middle Eastern cuisine as well as the more experienced. To my Western and some what limited palate the food here is definitely tastier than many other places.

Love picking up lunch there or eating in and their salads in particular are great although quit frankly everything I have had is tasty The Fatoush Salad with chicken is consistently fresh and tasty - one is more than enough for 2 people. The appetizers are large and tasty as well. Often pick up a few appies and salads for supper

We ate at Mezza Grill while staying in Houston and found the menu , food and service to be a great experience. The menu catered for everyone and had lots of very interesting sounding dishes. We would recommend for an average priced dinner with good food and interested staff. Hope to return on day.

The Spinach Goat Cheese Stuffed Chicken was remarkable. It was big and the sides were delicious. I had a bite of someone else's ribeye steak with blackened seasoning on it and it was one of the best bites of steak I have had in a while. This is a definite place I would go to again. Service was awesome as well.

Just had lunch in this great restaurant and I would go back tomorrow! Yum! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had the stuffed chicken and my friend had the fish and shrimp and both were 5 stars! Our server took time to make recommendations and was prompt to see that we were happy with everything. Wonderful food , Omar was a perfect host . I am vegetarian and the choices are healthy and yummy . I had the dip trio, tabbouleh salad , falafel . My friend had the lentil soup and Spinach Goat cheese Stuffed Chicken and really liked it . Will be here again soon.

I had dinner here recently and tried the mango-stuffed chicken with scalloped potatoes for the first time—honestly, it was amazing. It’s one of those dishes that sounds a little adventurous but is absolutely worth it —pure perfection. I’ll definitely be back!

Mezza is a new place we wanted to tryp for my daughter's 50th birthday. First thing I noticed on their wine list was our favorite Pinot Noir and a reasonable price. I had lamb and saffron rice. My wife avocado stuffed chicken. Can't remember what the birthday girl had but she was also pleased. The only bad thing if you could call it that was that each of us had to take home food because the servings were so generous. By the way there were several other entrees that I would like to have tried so we will go back. Finally, the service was very good.

Wonderful food. Love the Hibiscus Martinis. I have been here twice this week. The appetizers are terrific and I love the Kafta Beef Salad. I just wish I would have discovered this place sooner. It is in a strip center on Westheimer so it is easy to miss. Offers plenty of outdoor seating. If you love Lebanese food it is fantastic. The service is prompt, polite and overall excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is not a fancy restaurant but is consistently good. We love the way they do stuffed mango chicken. We feel it's the best chicken dish in town. There is a reasonable wine list and a large variety of dishes on the menu with a focus towards middle eastern cuisine. The crab cake appetizers are excellent. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars only because the ambience is not 5 star.

Ate here twice on my groups dive trip. Sat down and was offered a great mint hummus appetizer with very thinly sliced pita bread. All the food was very tasty and fresh. The portions are good and at a very good value. The first night we had wine and the second time we enjoyed their gin concoctions. Each dish came with a variety of taster portion sides on the plate. Each one better than the next. Since we came at a very busy time of year, we considered making a reservation for our group of 15. They were very accommodating but wanted to provide us with a buffet type program but at $40 per person. We balked but followed up with a small group and them the next time with a larger group without reservations and they could not have been more accommodating. Glad we gave them a shot and you will be to.

My first two visits to Mezza Grille occurred in a single week. Everything I have tried has been delicious. I enjoyed the Mango Stuffed Chicken so much the first time that I had it again. Hubby enjoyed the mixed grill. And we both think the white chocolate bread pudding is divine. Very attentive service. And fairly reasonable prices. Extra points for plenty of available self-parking and a relatively quiet dining room (something that is difficult to find in Houston). We will definitely return.

My mouth is watering just writing my review! First off, let me saying I love this place....nice ambiance......wonderful owners (hi Steph and Chef Mike)....and delicious food....can't get better than that!! :) I started with a niceglass of Moscato....then For appetizer I had the red pepper dip - aaaamazing!! For dinner I had the Shish Tawook but substituted and added shrimp - so delish!!! For dessert I had the Oreo Chocolate mousse - pure heaven!! Each time I'm in Houston....I make sure and stop by for dinner. I've been there many times and have NEVER been disappointed! I try to get something different each time because there are so many great items on the menu...and have truly enjoyed everything I have ordered. You are missing out if you haven't gone to Mezza!!!

Came twice on our trip and for some reason, it was nearly empty on both occasions! The atmosphere is sedate, with a fairly dark interior and tables running across the room, but no issue with it. Venue clean and tidy - and the bar looked well stocked. The menu didn't have a huge choice but there was something for everyone's taste on there; chicken, pasta, fish etc. My second dish, chicken parmigiana, was superb and the kitchen were also more than happy to take the cheese off. The first time, I had the lemon butter chicken pasta, my only gripe that the pasta was a bit too creamy (but my fault for not asking!). Other members of the party were suitably impressed with theirs too. Fantastic food in a good setting, and though not cheap, for the food you were getting, the value was very fair indeed. I would heavily recommend!

We were there for my wife birthday and it went very well. The food was worth every penny. I am going back there in two weeks to try other dishes.

My experience here was amazing!! The mango stuffed chicken is easily the best meal I have ever tasted, all the flavors with the mango, fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, absolutely divine😍 I will definitely be coming back again and again and will order it AGAIN and again! The cocktails are quite yummy as well, had a strawberry mule, pretty tasty with a kick. And last but not least our waiter, Omar was awesome, such great service and super polite and helpful. He also helped us pack our food into the boxes after, all around great experience❤️

Everytime we come here, we are met with friendly staff, great food, and an amazing atmosphere! this is one of our favorite places to come whenever we are in the area, and we sometimes even go out of our way to dine at Mezza Grille. I'm a regular for this good food! A go-to for a good visit, it's easy to talk in this atmosphere and the food is always delicious!

I had never eaten here before today, when I stopped by to pick up takeout for lunch since I was in the neighborhood. I ordered the Shish Tawook, or chicken kabob with grilled veggies and garlic sauce. I can honestly say that nothing on this plate of food has a Middle Eastern flavor, not one thing. There is a sweetness in whatever they brushed on the chicken before they grilled it that permeated the whole plate, and the chicken is tough and dry. The so-called garlic sauce was even sweeter, with no evidence of any garlic or garlic flavor in it. I have had to throw the whole thing away. The worst Middle Eastern restaurant I have ever been to in Houston, where there are so many great ones. What a disappointment.

Red snapper was fresh, topped with cherry tomatoes and gulf shrimp in a savory garlic sauce. The sides were plank style grilled fresh veggies. My wife had the spinach salad, a pretty boring choice but she said it was very good. My daughter had the chicken kabob and my son had the chicken stuffed with spinach and goat cheese which was out of this world good. The atmosphere was nice but relaxed. The waiter was attentive but a bit awkward. I would certainly suggest this restaurant if you are a fan of Mediterranean flavors.

Everything was tasty and service was good. We had the Seafood Campechana and my wife enjoyed it. She had the Crab Cake for her meal and I had the Mango Stuffed Chicken.

My friends and I regularly lunch here and our extended family gathers here for celebrations. Lunch salads are always a favorite as is the Tortilla soup; dinner is also wonderful with a nice selection of entrees but the shishkabobs are a favorite! Red pepper hummus also great! The atmosphere is a bit dark inside for lunch time but nice to sit on patio in nice weather.

You have to try this place! We were attended by Joanne, such an amazing girl. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were epic. We loved the White Chocolate Bread Pudding most! Excellent food, service and ambience.

The quality of food in Houston restaurants is extremely high. Mezza Grill does not disappoint against the very high standards that Houstonians expect. Mezza Grill consistently delivers with high quality, tastefully executed dishes. While the menu had a Mediterranean flare, there are offerings for all palates. The service is noteworthy as well - attentive without being overly intrusive. On our most recent visit we were served by Tina, and she was exceptional. Mezza Grill will not disappoint!

This will be our 3rd time dining here and just like the last two times,our experience was absolutely outstanding. The entire staff is wonderful. We ordered the cucumber jalapeño margarita which is the best we ever had. The mango chicken and chicken platter, red snapper is simply divine. We always sit in Tina’s section and she gives excellent service. If you have never been here, you must experience their excellent food and top notch service.

On our vacation in Houston, we found this place TripAdvisor. After checking out the reviews, we decided to try it. It was quite good, my wife had the fish tacos, which she really enjoyed, as well as a tasty hibiscus margarita. I had a very good bowl of tortilla soup, which was more like a full tureen of soup, it was a very generous portion. The boys had standard kid fare of grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders and fries. I would certainly go back if I was ever traveling in Houston again.

Excellent service and delicious food. We have been going there for years, have pretty much tried everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Great place for families, quick lunch or dinner. We’ve also had many ladies birthday celebrations there. Parking is usually not a problem either.

This is my go to in the neighborhood. It is great for friends or families. The hummus is one of my favorites as well as their other Mediterranean delights.

The variety and flavors of the foods are amazing and hard to beat. There are so many great options to choose from and great service. The Shish Tawook and Mango Stuffed Chicken are my favorites but there are so many other items that are truly delicious. They are reasonably priced and give you a large quantity to eat.

Our first visit to this restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm and a comfortable level of diner banter filled the air. They have a wide variety of offerings in their diverse menu. My wife is less adventurous in her choices and she found several options which included pastas, salads, chicken and beef dishes. As you may suspect, they’re primary offerings are kababs and mixed grills with jasmine, saffron and other robust spices. We had a red pepper dip (with walnut and pomegranate molasses purée) with pita bread to start - which was fantastic. The portion was big enough to provide me with a couple snacks to dip at home. I had a mango stuffed chicken and my wife had a bacon wrapped beef filet. Both of these were great tasting items but the side of scalloped potatoes was some of the most delicious I’ve tasted in recent years. We did not sample any deserts; however, that leaves more to be explored on our next visit. With regards to the wait staff, our server and his support crew were very attentive but not overbearing. This was a pleasant and flavorful surprise. We both agreed we enjoyed it thoroughly to want to return again soon.

the food is very very good a bit pricey, the private rooms are delightful. I liked the curry chicken pasta and the chocolate dessert was beyond wonderful-not much atmosphere but worth a good to extra good meal

We chose this restaurant because of the ratings we read on Yelp and trip advisor. Wow, we’re we disappointed. For the price the ambiance was likened to that of a cheap Chinese buffet. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. It was really greasy and served with a side of salsa and sour cream. The salsa tasted like it was poured right out of a Tostito’s jar. No way was it made daily out of store bought ingredients. For $13 you would expect more. Then there was the main course. The roasted chicken was so tough the knife couldn’t even cut it! It just tore the chicken apart. The Lemon butter chicken was so oily we didn’t even taste it. The scalloped potatoes were so greasy the oil was spreading down the plate. Needless to say the food was returned. That brings us to the customer service. When I asked the waiter about the signs of the spinach artichoke dip, the sour cream and salsa, he didn’t know anything about them. Then when we tried to tell them we didn’t want the main course and to take it back he had to ask his manager if he could take it off the check. Unacceptable, we’re not eating it So you shouldn’t have to pay for it. They did remove the charges and we paid for our two flat Diet Coke’s and the spinach artichoke dip. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I recently discovered this place when I was early to an appt. and stopped in to kill time. What a pleasant surprise! The menu selection is incredible especially the salads making for a perfect lunch.

Love, love, love this place! Have been coming here for years, as far back as when they were Cafe Mezza. The entrees are always wonderful. My fave is the chicken shish tawook, but the ribeye, the kafta kabob and the ravioli were all wonderful. We were just here for Mother's Day weekend and truly enjoyed our dinner.

Everything I've ever ordered from the Cornish Hen to the Red Snapper platter has been outstanding. It's one of my favorite dining spots in Houston. My other favorite dishes are the mixed grill platter and the grilled chicken platter. Excellent service, too!

I am very disappointed in the customer service that I just received. I had made a reservation online with Open Table for 6 people but just called the restaurant to let them know that I actually needed seating for 7 but the app wouldn't let me do 7 people. The man that answered the phone was not friendly or hospitable, he simply stated reservations for more than 6 even if for only 1 more are not allowed and it will be first come first serve. Also, I asked if you all did anything for a birthday celebration and he said "only a piece of cake for birthday person, no outside cakes allowed". I am very disappointed with the business' lack of customer service. I have been there two times and we really enjoyed the food; however, it is sad that the employees do not care more about customer service to make it a truly excellent establishment. The two times we were there the servers were not friendly or welcoming either. One always assumes that the employees are a reflection of the management; therefore, if such is true, that is sad because the food is very good. Based on the foregoing we cancelled our reservation and took our party of 7 elsewhere.

Excellent service and the food was perfection. Alittle pricey but we did order the Pecan Ceuated Salmon and the Rack of Lamb. MUST try the wild mushroom risotto and the scalped potatoes! My family went to an early dinner (4:00 pm) and almost had the place to ourselves. Our waitress was so sweet and efficient. Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious! Rather than bread to start off with, we were served yummy chips and dip that were like spiced parmesan flatbread chips with an intriguing oil dip. The Seafood Campechana was fresh and flavorful. It looked like a large shrimp cocktail, but rather than be disappointed by a large glass of excess cocktail sauce, the mixture was a delicious dip made with lump crab, avocado and salsa with fresh pineapple. The Spinach Salad was fresh and the Raspberry Poppy Seed Dressing was sweet and tangy. Family favorites were the Spicy Chipotle Seafood Risotto and the impressively presented Mango Stuffed Chicken. The servings were all large and beautifully presented. The side of scalloped potatoes was so creamy and tasty, and made for excellent breakfast leftovers. Everyone raved about the meal! What a great find!

This is my first time eating in Mezza Grill and I am amazed with the atmosphere. It has a nice air and feeling to it. The service and waiter Omar is pretty amazing too.

We enjoyed the ambience of this place, the menu had soooo many delicious choices! We liked the waitstaff, the crackers with olive oil pesto. I had just the bruschetta appetizer and my two sons had the chicken parm. They loved it! We’ll have to go back to try their pizza and burgers. With pleasure!

I recently placed a Togo order over the phone with Stephanie. After placing my order I was notified that my order would be ready within 10/15 mins. Being that I was already in the area I came in to enjoy a glass of water until my food was ready. After sitting at the bar for 30mins my food finally came out. The bartender who was complaining the whole time “Ohhh, I’m sooooo ready to go home” brought me the receipt for my order. After looking over the receipt I noticed that my tab was $72. Being that I have ordered this same exact order maybe a month or two ago I was confused as to what was different with this tab and my last one. The bartender told me that they had changed the menu 2years ago & proceeded to grab the General Management which happened to be the exact same woman that greeted me over the phone when I placed my order “Stephanie”. She begin to tell me that the menu had changed 1year ago. Now I feeling like I’m being scammed out of my money. And I began to show her my Uber eats account where just last month I ordered this exact same thing for a cheaper price. Then she explains that maybe she has the dates wrong and the owner changed the price last month. And told me as the General Manager she has to ask the head chef if she could discount the total. After waiting another 5mins she came to tell me that the head chef wasn’t there anymore and it was nothing she could do. (10pm the restaurant closing time is 11pm) I felt so disrespected!!!! I’ve been to this place so many times and even ordered take out very often. For this to have happened and no one had their story as to why and then proceeded to tell me that it was NOTHING that they could do is just an awful experience. Not to mention I brought a friend with me who experienced this for the first time. I will NOT be back and Stephanie should know more about her place of work & maybe even give customers their total and explain that the menu is different so customers can understand before they arrive!!

Foods okay, nothing to write about. The wine selection was very limited. Getting a reservation on Saturday night was too easy and the place was pretty much empty.

The service was excellent and the portion sizes were large. The Calamari was very good. I had Mango stuffed Chicken which was delicious. I would have been happy with a third of what I got. The dish was accompanied by delphinous potatoes that were greasy and there were no greens. For some people this restaurant will be fabulous, but for me it was all a bit too heavy and too much food.

Waitress gave some great recommendations and I went with the popular dish of the mango stuffed chicken. The one who waddled out stuffed was me. There was plenty for one person and the combination of flavors was amazing. I can see why this is a popular dish. I can’t wait to come back down to Houston and partake of another delicious meal. Took home tres leches and polished that off a couple hours later. Service was great, very attentive and nice.

The Mezza Grille has a nice atmosphere and really good food. I went there on my recent trip to Texas and had Chicken Parmesan, which was delicious. The portion was the perfect size. I understand that they used to have a great Happy Hour, but they no longer have that. At any rate, our waitress was very friendly and nice, and we had a lovely dinner there. Prices are moderate. Would recommend!

What a wonderful dining experience! We had drinks and appetizers and then delicious entrees amd couldn't finish our 2 desserts. The Mango Stuffed Chicken is amazing. The Shrimp Campechana was to die for. The Pear Martini was delicious and the service from Mr. Ricardo Sanchez was Top Notch. We will definitely come back here. And oh, I almost forgot, how my kids, wife and I were fighting for the last bite of the Tres Leches and the warm White Chocolate Bread Pudding. I would come back just for those!!!

First time that we visited this restaurant since we wanted to try something different. I was really surprised with the service and with the food. You got to try their Spicy Lobster Bisque. It has to be the best one that I have ever had. I really recommend this restaurant. Food portions are very generous and the price is reasonable. Wine selections are also good and $35 for a bottle of descent wine is not too bad (for a restaurant). I will definitely be making it back.

Came here before a concert, and I was impressed by this place! The only compliant I have is the lobster bisque did not have any lobster. Everything else was impeccable!

This restaurant has revolved over the years. It is a lovely place with really good Mediterranean food. The dish I ordered was a lamb stew. It was good with a generous portion of rice. I guess the only way I would improve this dish is to add MORE lamb and have less rice. Service was impeccable as usual.

First time here and was recommended by a friend to help my wife get induced into labor with the eggplant parmigian. Of course my family wasn’t going to eat the eggplant, so they ended up eating the stuffed mango chicken, lemon butter chicken, and other items which were all delicious. Also don’t forget the white chocolate bread pudding and coconut tres leches. Omar was terrific with his recommendations and awesome service. Again HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
