Not the best service

By SaguaroLover |

We stopped in for dinner while gambling at the Silverton. Chips and salsa were brought to us immediately and they were delicious! Our waiter came and we ordered dinner. Three of us ordered the special, which was 3 tacos and a margarita for $12 and one ordered a burrito. Another person brought our dinner and we told him we still did not have our cocktails. He was able to find them at the bar and brought them to us immediately. Our food was fair. The chicken taco on the flour tortilla was very good. I also had a pork and a beef, both on corn tortillas. The corn tortillas could have been cooked longer and both meats were very dry. The burrito was primarily rice and black beans with some chicken. To be fair, I think we ordered the wrong items as others around us with different choices appeared to be enjoying the meal. At the end of the meal, we still had not seen our waiter since he took our order and we had to ask the hostess to find him sowe could get our bill.

Really good Mexican food

By michaelg999969 |

Really good Mexican food inside the Silverton Casino. Chips and dips to start at no charge, and huge portions for dinner. Our server (Luis) was awesome! Could not have asked for a better dinner experience.

Good Mexican food

By Bret P |

Pretty good Mexican food. The free chips and salsa came with three flavors of salsa. We got the fresh made guacamole and it was pretty good. We got the mushroom enchilada and it was kind of weird but the rest of the food was really good.

Best Mexican restaurant in Vegas!

By GRE |

Do not miss out on this hidden gem! It was our favorite restaurant we visited on our 5 night trip to Vegas. The taco salad with carne asada was absolutely unbelievable, and very fairly priced. Most meals in Vegas are absurdly expensive... Not Mi Casa! Huge plates of fresh, delicious food for less than $20 per person. The tortilla soup was the most popular dish at the table, and it had tough competition. Do not miss out on the best Mexican restaurant Vegas has to offer! Cannot say enough about the food and service. Only regret is that our hotel did not have a fridge and we had to leave some delicious leftovers behind

nice Mexican Restaurant

By nascardonna |

fairly good restaurant with nice atmosphere. service was friendly and helpful but was slow. we received 3 types of salsa when we sat down which helped pass the time. Margarita was good. food was adequate.

Ok

By kes1639 |

Not quite sure what all the rave reviews are about. It was ok but nothing special. 45 minute wait for a table so decided to eat at bar area. Wouldn’t let us pull a third chair over to the table so had to sit at bar. Video gambling machines were in the way so not much room for plates. Did the table side guacamole which was good but needed more salt. Got the enchiladas and they were fine. Bartender started out good but then got a big ignored.

Dinner

By smont |

First off, only plan on eating here if you have plenty of time. The service was HORRIBLE. Took almost 45 minutes to get our food. 20 mins to even order it. The server must have been new. She was rude, unattentive and didn't seem to care much. We did not have a wait to be seated and it didn't seem that busy so we don't know what the problem was. Our appetizer came out 15 mins have being ordered and was wrong. The food however was GREAT. The manager was great as well as we did complain about our service. Overall, since the food was so good, I would eat there again.

Good Mexican food !

We had an excellent steak fajita dinner. Very nice Margaritas with excellent service. Would recommend.

Do you like Street Corn?

By Karl F |

Great Food & Great Service - if you enjoy Street Corn - this is a must stop and try - portions are large and can't beat the price - a good selection of beers and they make their own Sangria very refreshing and yummy Enjo

Girlfriend extremely disappointed

By baaaaaaa |

Our first visit was so horrible we gave it another try. Ordered combination plates and the food was not very good and service improved from extremely horrible to ok. Long long wait for food even though restaurant was almost empty. Cheese Enchilada was just cheese and corn tortilla period. Fish taco was mostly cabbage. Beef taco was like it came from taco bell. On the good side: Silverton offers half off promotions which makes the over priced bland mexican food more reasonable. Girlfriend says she would rather starve than come back.

Another Worthwhile Meal

By Anthony D |

One of our go to restaurants. We visit often on last minute decision. The food is quite good at affordable prices. I like the fajitas. Huge portions so always have enough to take home for lunch the next day.

Greasy

By fun traveler Ohio |

We are pretty conscious of our diet and try to eat whole food plant based. Mexican food usually works with us for those requirements. I had the vegetable fajitas and it was so full of oil I couldn't eat it.

Average!

By MTS--1000 |

Service was ok. Hostess was fiercely enforcing the rules regarding large groups. There were 12 of us so only one check. So we broke into two groups & they seated us in opposite sides of the restaurant. More understandable if they had been busy which they weren’t. It actually was probably more pleasant than being at one large table but opposite ends of the restaurant was a bit much. The pitcher of Sangria for $30 was mostly ice. The Spanish rice was crunchy and without flavor. I asked for black beans and got refried beans. They did taste better than many refried beans I’ve had. The portions were large. One of the group thought his seafood enchiladas had too strong of a fish taste. No one thought the food was great or horrible. On the plus side the food was reasonably priced. Since we had just signed up for the player’s club, we had a 50% off coupon.

If you like good Mexican food this is the place

By Bill P |

Great food good service competitively priced. Great selection on the menu. They also have a full bar with a very large tequila selection.

A Very Odd and Disappointing Dining Experience

By MMandS |

We had a very odd dining experience at the MI Casa Grill Cantina at the Silverton Lodge. We arrived prior to opening, and asked if we needed a reservation, and we were told no, just come back when they open. We returned 30 minutes, asked for a table for 2, and they proceeded to seat us at a large round table with approximately 8 chairs. Never in my life, have I ever heard of seating 2 dinner guests at a table for 8. So I asked the young hostess: "we prefer a booth, may we switch to a booth?". There were several booths available, the restaurant was just opening up, and was fairly empty. The hostess gave me a curt response : "No sir, we don't do that here". Days later and I still have no clue what that means. They don't do WHAT there? They don't give out booths without a reservation? They don't let customers choose where they want to sit? I was dumbfounded by that response. As we ate dinner, I sat and watched as couple after couple were seated in booths. It made no logical sense, and came across as very disrespectful. As for the food, it was decent but not amazing. Yes, the portions were large, and the Elote appetizer was pretty darn good. They brought us 3 different salsas, but all 3 were pretty blah, and not a single one had any real spice to them. The tortilla chips tasted like the typical store bought ones, and the refried beans & rice were forgettable. The entrees were ok, but not enough to make up for the rude hostess/management. We definitely would not return or recommend this establishment. If you read the reviews on other sites, you will find multiple complaints about that the staff at this restaurant. Unacceptable.

Mexican dinner

By debcanon |

We used to love this place but seems it has gone downhill. Took a long time for someone to greet us. They said no tables but we could sit in bar. Went to bar side and all tables were dirty. So we waited for 15 min. then a wait staff did not show up for another 20 minutes. An overall bad experience which makes me sad as I used to like their food.

Meh, Average

By VegasToEssex |

My parents and I met our close friends for dinner at Mi Casa, which is located in the Silverton Casino The restaurant is modern and a nice refuge from the casino area. The food and service, however, is not much to talk about. Although the hostess was very friendly, it took an incredibly long time to receive chips, salsa, and margaritas. Only 1/4 of the tables were seated, so there was no excuse for the long delay. I ordered chicken enchiladas, which were fine but nothing to write home about. The whole experience was just..... fine. I wouldn't run back.

Great Atmosphere

By AnnaMcBee |

The food here was really good. We ended up here right before they closed. The staff are very accommodating.

Food good, service not so good

By Pattysc123 |

Food was excellent and great for the price. We ate there two evenings - both nights the servers left a bit to be desired. Not impressed.

A little too expensive for such a remote location

By TravlinStacey |

I had read that the aquarium at the Silverton Casino was the #1 free attraction in Las Vegas, so we spent $25 on a taxi to see a single tank in the lobby. BUST! Luckily, the huge, adjacent Bass Shop entertained my kids for an hour and we had a quick and delicious lunch at Mi Casa, right inside the casino. I loved the restaurant design and varied seating options. The hostess was not particularly helpful, but our server was friendly and efficient. Free chips were hot and fresh, so very thin and crispy! Three varieties of salsa aling side offered something to appeal to everyone. My family loved it. Interesting varied menu selections offered. After we ordered lunch off of the regular menu provided by the hostess, I saw a separate lunch menu on a stand on the table with much better pricing on a limited number of entrees that were very similar to those we had ordered. I was frustrated over not having been provided that menu before ordering, or having one of those selection suggested after hearing our order, but we were in a hurry to finish and get to a timed event at another hotel, so I let it go. It is as right on the table, so that was my own fault. The four entrees arrived together: hot, fresh, crispy and cheesy. We had chicken enchiladas, ground beef tacos, shredded beef tacos and crispy chicken tacos. All were delicious. $53 for lunch with no drinks was much more than I would expect to pay that far out of the way. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but if you are at the store or the casino, the food is very good.

Photos added. Very good Mexican Food

By NitroDog |

Very large portions of very good Mexican Food in a very nice restaurant. I had the taco salad. YUM! Very good chips and salsa. Our waiter was excellent. I will return.

Love This Place!

By iluvmoose |

Love the decor and atmosphere of Mi Casa. Food is great and servers are good. Always get enough to eat and tamales are excellent.

food and service

By arl |

last night we had dinner at the casa mia, a restaurant we have enjoyed for years, eating there at least 2 or 3 times a month over the winter months. last night, 3 of us had dinner, first two dinners were served in a timely manner. my dinner seemed to be forgotten and when i received it, looked like it had fallen on the floor and been scooped back on to the plate. and i think it was, spent the night with severe stomach pains and have been sick all day

Good food, service, and atmosphere

By TayC08 |

Very nice spot...you can walk around and see a mermaid further down in the casino. The restaurant is also decorated very well. Service was great and the food was really good. For what we paid and for the choice of food on the menu (it's not your standard menu) we will definitely return. More content can be found on instagram @collins2collins.

Good Food. Second Visit

By Julie K |

Food was very delicious! Salsas were super tasty! Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush. The only problem was the server complaining about the complexities involved around her splitting our check for five. It would be so slow, not able to serve others... It was odd. But everyone enjoyed the large portions of salads, fajitas, enchilada. We will go there again.

Amazing food at reasonable prices

By Ccfx2935 |

My husband and I stopped here for lunch upon our arrival in Las Vegas, and it did not disappoint. We shared the mushroom enchilada, avocado fries, and chicken quesadilla, and finished it off with coconut flan. Food arrived quickly and piping hot. Our server Jordan was extremely attentive without being pushy. Bottom line, this is definitely a stop to add to your list.

Best Ever Frozen Margarita - Good Food

By tnlag |

This is a favorite for Mexican food at a reasonable price in comfortable surroundings. Recommend reservations during peak dining times. I do not like strong alcoholic drinks so was very pleased that the frozen Margarita was perfect for my tastes. I have never been disappointed with any meal that I have ordered. There is a wide choice of food menu selections. All are served with generous portions. The complimentary chips are served with 3 different salsas -- all fresh.

Drastically Disappointing

By Mudsharks |

My husband and I come to Vegas at least twice a month and always stay at The Silverton. My husband hates traffic and crowds and I owned a home in Southern Highlands for years so it's close to friends. Mai at the front desk is always amazing and friendly. The 1 time i requested a quiet room for the day after my surgery we were put on the 1st floor. First time it was noisy. We always go to Mi Casa for dinner, my favorite part of the trip. Or was? How can one employee leaving, I believe her name was Nita or Needa. She was the bartender in Mi Casa and gave us the greatest service and conversation. This time I was ignored at the bar. Our drinks during dinner took forever and our last drink didn't come until after the server dropped and picked up the check. I wouldn't have ordered if I knew we were done. Bartender was a blonde lady. I worked in Las Vegas for 25 years, opening 3 casinos. I couldn't work with people any longer who had no customer service skills and intentionally ignored or neglected guest. My last meal at Mi Casa I felt intentionally ignored and our service was not great. I have been staying here for a year at least twice a month, always eating at Mi Casa. This experience made me feel not welcomed. I'll miss friendly Mai at the reservation desk.

Great Cadillac Margaritas!

By MtBakerFarm |

We really loved this restaurant! My steak fajitas were really good, the chicken Tinga tacos were good, one person had the fish tacos which she said were just adequate, chips and salsa excellent, but the best thing we had were the pitchers of Cadillac margaritas. $28 for the equivalent of 3-1/2 drinks. We tried the house margaritas and the Paloma, but the Cadillac were far superior. Drink prices in Las Vegas are out of control, so we were thrilled at the prices here, and the food was also a great value. Service was excellent. Definitely one of our favorite meals in Las Vegas!

Really Good!

By hmortenson |

Great salsas: regular, spicy and tomatillo. Chicken enchiladas were delicious! Decor is delightful. Fast, friendly service. A good place for a really good meal.

Great Happy Hour Tacos

By loonalaska |

The wait was long but the food was very authentic with tasty flavor. We highly recommend the tacos on happy hour price. The hot sauce had really good spice. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was the best. Nice place to get away from the casino vibe. Great margaritas

Food Great, Service Not So Much

By MrLee73 |

We were staying at the Silverton Hotel and decided to just eat in house. We like Mexican so decided on Mi Casa. The food was more reasonably priced than I expected and we found it to be tasty. The chips were thicker than the usual and hard to stop eating. I had the delgado de pollo, and my wife had the chicken burrito. They were both very tasty. The service, on the other hand, was not up to par. The hostess seemed bored and uninterested with her job. I ordered an ice tea, but had to ask for it a second time. However, the worst mistake was we had no silverware with which to eat. When our food was delivered we noted this and were told it would be brought right away. Five minutes later our waiter checked in on us and finally brought us utensils. Loved the food. Hopefully the service will improve.

great enchilads

By cktab |

went to Silverton for a drawing and hadn't had dinner yet and were tired of burgers and buffets so tried their Mexican, well we've eaten at at lot of places but this one had street style tacos(soft shells) and 6 or 7 different types for $2!!! We had a couple for appy's and ordered a shrimp and crab enchilada to share, I have to say 2 enchiladas and a big serving of rice was enough for us both. And what a treat REAL crab meat!!! We had a $10 coupon so the bill was $20 but we would've paid the full price it was sooooo good, you have to try it

Great value

By Staci J |

Hostess was slow but we just sat in the bar. Not very smokey even though we sat right by the casino.

Veggie fajitas

By Soggy Surfer |

The Best!! I was impressed. Wish I hadn't forgot my leftovers. Portobello mushrooms squash, asparagus etc.

Great Mexican

By JK S |

Not only great food, but the decor and service are as well. We like the lunch $10 specials, and the weekend 3 tacos and a giant margarita for $12 bucks.

Authentic Mexican!

By dagrlz |

my only complaint is they do not hae vegetarian black beans...other than that, the food is so fresh and flavorful. Veggie fajitas have asparagus, zucchini, not just onion and peppers! and the mushroom enchilada in the cream sauce...delish! must try the lime-cilantro rice as well. And the margaritas are excellent!!!

Happy Hour

By FadedFoodie |

Attended a private event featuring their signature peach & strawberry margarita. QUesedilla and chicken wings were up to par and the guacamole hit the spot. Here's a place that offers Happy Hour on weekends - not too many I know in Vegas. May be a good spot to drop in late afternoons on the weekends. Staff is very friendly and on top of their game.

Made up

By taxsun |

Combination cheese enchilada (white cheddar & green sauce) & carnitas taco (roasted pork was dry), I sent mine back as I did not like either. They replaced with chicken fajitas - which was great. My wife had mushroom enchilada & fish taco - good.

Just average

By traveling-archer |

Food was average and too expensive. I dont mind paying for very good food but this was a $18 dinner that was worth $8

OK if you are staying at the Silverton

By Brad D |

Stopped in after a 5 hour drive from Phoenix. Relaxing and comfortable, except for the video poker games placed on the bar. The Margarita was wonderful and the enchiladas were tasty. The refried beans and rice were OK.

Not Impressed

By Judy C |

The food we'd ordered were fairly standard meals....tacos and burritos. While I really wanted to like this restaurant the fairest thing I can say is this...High prices for Taco Bell quality food. The food was just not that flavorful or tasty. Everything was bland. Even the guacamole had little flavor. The burrito was humongous but not that tasty. For some reason this and all other restaurants seem to be charging an arm and a leg for beverages. Coffee and soda's are not worth nearly $5 each. Somebody needs to wake up.

Yummy food, relaxing environment

By Moe C |

Really good food and great service from Bri. We waited 30 min to be seated since we didn’t have a reservation, then ordered from the Mexican menu (although the Su Casa options of sushi and Japanese faire looked fantastic too). The table salsa was notable - not spicy at all, more smoky. Perfect with their better than average chips. Both of our entrees were delicious and provided take-home leftovers. We used a promotional discount from the adjacent Silverton Casino so it was quite affordable too. Looking forward to going back on another visit to Vegas!

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, great food!

By TeriHughes |

We love this Mexican restaurant, which is located inside Silverton Casino. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is always very, very friendly. My husband and I usually share a pitcher of cadillac margaritas, a great value at $24, given that individual cadillacs are $12. We get about 3 1/2 margaritas out of a pitcher, so it saves us a decent amount of money. The food is always delicious and comes quickly. We also usually share fajitas or carne asada, making it an even better value - and there's always plenty of food for the both of us!

Tasty and attentive staff

By has6954 |

Visited this Mexican restaurant inside the Silverton Casino. It is nicely appointed and comfortable with both tables and booths available. It can accomadate large groups as well. The menu is full of choices and having now tried several I can say honestly that all are worth the money . The fish of the day was Swai, a white fish that we ordered with sauteed vegetables ( not on the menu like that but the Executive Chef accomadates almost all requests without any hesitation ). My wife thought it was outstanding! They have a wonderful Taco salad that was prepared for me with iceberg lettuce as I cannot have romaine . Again no problem for the Chef, Antonio, as he aims to please all his customers . The salad can have ground beef, steak or chicken added as well . Their complimentary chips and salsa offers three types of salsa, and the medium is my personal favorite. Always a great consistent taste. Refills of these are complimentary .The side dish of Queso, a mildly spicey warm cheese appetizer goes great with the chips . It goes for $6. and is so worth it . The service has never been bad and we have been to this place several times as a local. Fernando or Juan are two of our favorite waiters and would be worth requesting them by name .

¡Rico! Vegetarian Fajitas are incredibly delicious

By Pilates_Gal |

We absolutely loved the vegetarian fajitas for two. They have great chips, great salsa, and the fresh abundant vegetables had us returning one week later for more. We will return again and again for this dish as it tastes so good and is a very good value. Left overs which we split for lunch the next day are just as delicious. Friendly service too.

Tried It Liked It:

By cpldutch |

A different type of menu here and it is good. Sure all the same standards but its just a little different and good. Had the Fish Tacos and they were fine with me. Cold Beer and Tacos, mmmmm.

Good Food, Good Service, Good Price

By Wendy K |

We ate an early dinner at this restaurant located inside the Silverton Casino, arriving just as they opened at 5:00 pm, before heading to the airport. Lots of choices on the menu, complimentary chips with three salsas, happy hour drinks and excellent service. We had between two couples chicken enchilada, Taco Salad with shrimp, The Mango, bean, corn salad with shrimp, and chicken fajitas. All tasty. And the bill was very reasonable.

Good casino restaurant

By debbiejo |

I have eaten here a couple of times and enjoyed my meals both times. The shrimp in the fajitas and other dishes were really good. The servers were attentive and I enjoyed the complimentary chips and trio of salsas while waiting for our dinners. Nice atmosphere and is located inside the Silverton casino. I will go there again on another trip.

Best Fish Tacos I've Ever Had! Very Good Mexican Restaurant

By Brady K |

Usually I am a bit skeptical of these restaurants in the Vegas casinos, but this one actually turned out to be a great one! The chips and 3 salsas they bring to the table are very good and pass that test. The fish tacos (which I am very picky about) are some of the best I've ever had hands down. These can be hit and miss depending on the restaurant you visit, but this place had fantastic ones. The restaurant is very clean and looks nice as well and does not have any issues with the smoking that goes on in the casino area of the casino. The only thing that was a bit of a negative was an attentive waitress that did not do the best job in the world of serving us. Other than that though, very solid establishment.

Great Mexican Food

By Paul W |

We enjoyed our visit so much the first time that we went back two nights later, and again had terrific food, drinks and service!

Um... no longer yummy

By IronMerMayden |

So, I hadn't been here in a while and I was craving some Mexican food. To my disappointment, the quality here has gone down. Everything just tasted like a glob of salt. That's it. No other flavors. So, alas, I will not go back again. I used to go often, but I want a little more than the taste of salt in my mouth.

Excellent food and service in beautiful setting

By Travels_with_Lia |

Mi Casa has very good food and a variety of tequilas to enjoy. Like most of the Silverton, the staff is friendly and attentive. This restaurant has one of the most aesthetically beautiful environments we have ever enjoyed. The lighting design, glass motifs, colors and textures all mix with good food and service for a most enjoyable experience.

Love the street tacos

By Kitty V |

I try to schedule my trip to stay over a tuesday night so I can have the street taco's. There are three varieties, I get one of each. I prefer to have them with a Blue Moon, but they no longer offer Blue Moon. Anyway, love the taco's.

Good food and away from the crowds of the strip

By Heather Gebbia |

The food and service were great. I loved the white sangria with lots of fruit in it. We were there on a Sunday night and it wasn't crowded at all. I don't know if other nights are more crowded, but it was nice to get away from the crowds of the strip.

Mediocre Appetizers

By D L |

We met other couples for happy hour "appies" and drinks. Drinks had little alcohol, and appetizer tastes (shrimp cerveche, fajita skewers, wings, and taquitos) were slightly better than average. Service was mediocre. Price high for what was served.

Falls short for the cost!

By Michael T |

We ate there this last Saturday night and I must say it fell short of expectations. The Cadillac margaritas were pretty bad for a pitcher which cost $31. No hint of alcohol so do not order those. The steak was very fatty and the rice pretty dry. They could pick it up a couple notches. We would not return for the value.

Good Mexican cuisine

By marylyon1 |

It may not be authentic Mexican cuisine, but it was tasty after a long day of playing blackjack. We especially liked the chips and the assortments of sauces. :)

Always good!

By Erica L |

We love to eat here when we are in Vegas! The service is always great, food is very good, and there are happy hour drink specials! The restaurant is in the Silverton Hotel and Casino, which is fun in and of itself. There is a gorgeous fish tank with rays and sharks and a beautiful mermaid:-) Best of all, the restaurant is peanut/tree it safe, so my son can enjoy meals here with us. And enjoy we do!!!! Oh, and they bring you very generous amounts of yummy tortilla chips and s trio of salsas!

Awesome Wedding Reception!!!

By Marni B |

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Mi Casa 10/04/2013. It was AWESOME!!! Their enchiladas are the best and their service was top notch. Even though our party was small (40 people) they treated us like royalty and the set up was better than I could've imagined. Thank you Mi Casa and staff for helping to make our wedding reception so special.

Good Portions

By WOODS424 |

Hungry for Mexican food so decided to eat at Mi Casa. Great service, great atmosphere. I love the decor of this place. Ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce that was great! They give you tortilla chips with 3 different types of salsa while waiting on your food --- Yummy! Great service, great menu selection and great ambiance. Romantic atmosphere depending where you sit. Nice bar area that sits a little higher than the restaurant. I will be going back. Mi Casa is good for family, couples, friends kids, solo, or even business.

Worth a Try

By MotorOn2 |

Actually we intended to eat at another restaurant at the Silverton but it was closed. Since we hadn't tried Mi Casa we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed our margaritas and the chicken fajitas, along with the queso fundido. The food is a bit americanized, probably to appeal to the many out of state tourists, but we found the food and service good. We would probably return the next time at the Silverton.

Excellent food and value

By Avis K |

The food was delicious and the servings were generous . We were seated quickly even on Friday night. Drinks were served fast and our order came out quickly . Too much food to finish. Big plus, the Silverton casino, where mi casa is located is not on the strip. Was happy to find this restaurant without the strip traffic or croud. Is now my go to Mexican restaurant . Yum!!!!

Tamales

By advcards |

Very good food had the combo plate, enchiladas were good but the tamales were awesome. Fajitas are. There speciality and my wife loved hers. Service was average.

Hidden Gem if You’re a Lover of Mexican Food

By sue m |

Just let me say “omg”!! If you’re in Vegas, going over to the Silverton to eat at this restaurant will be well worth the cost of a Lyft/Uber (cost us $13 round-trip from the Mirage Hotel on the Strip. The service was on point (Danny was great), the food choices we made were all very flavorful and expertly prepared; we were very pleased with all the fusion tastes. 2 apps, 3 dinners, complete with all the usual sides and a nicely potent pitcher of Golden Margaritas were reasonably priced. Make the trek over from the Strip, you won’t regret it. Oh, and the casino is very nice too.

Very long

By Claire M |

I recommend you to take reservation before going on this restaurant. Even if all the table were open we wait 45min getting or table. The waiter take forever to come to the table. The food and the drink were good. But the service was horrible.

Good Food, Strong Drinks, Pretty Decor

By Karen H |

My husband and I decided to give Mi Casa a try after the Silverton Player's card gave us 1/2 off dining. We ate a early dinner on the Sunday after Christmas. It was off-peak and the restaurant only had a few other customers. The restaurant is really pretty, with mood lighting and dark wood. There is a tree like thing with elevated seating in the middle. It feels like a lot of effort was put into the look of this restaurant. I ordered chicken fajitas, which were good. We had margaritas and chips with salsa. As far as Mexican restaurants, the food rates average, however the decor and the fact that we had such a huge discount, bumped this restaurant up a notch. We would come back here if we were in the area. Like my review? Check out my blog!

Just okay

By califclasy |

Average mexican fare. I wouldn't eat here again but the restaurant is nice. The service is very good. The food is average at best, so a bit pricey for the taste. Had the tostada, others had enchiladas with beans and rice. Plentiful servings, just didn't pop in the taste department.

The food was very good.

By chsnhvn |

We always like it here. The restaurant is not cheap but the food is good. The wait staff is generally very good too. We always get the guacamole, the margaritas and the beef fajitas for two. I recommend this restaurant very much.

Great food, great Menu and excellent service

By has6954 |

Visited this restaurant located in the Silverton Casino, just off Las Vegas Blvd. The menu was a wonderful surprise with several choices available . My wife had the fish of the day . It was Swai, a white fish that was seasoned and cooked to perfection . She requested thinly sliced vegetables instead of the usual rice and beans that come with the dish . No problem with that and the veggies were so tasty ! I asked if the Taco salad could be made with just Iceberg lettuce as it is the only lettuce I can eat , Again that was no problem for this kitchen staff . The salad was served in a large deep fried tortilla shell and was filled to the brim with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, corn and ground beef as I had requested . Other meat choices are available . The salad comes with a chipotle dressing that is quite good but not overly spicy . The Chef,( Antonio) came out to check on the orders with the special requests we had and he was so gracious and engaging. He wanted to make sure that all our requests were served properly and to see if there was anything else he could do for us. Our server, Fernando, was outstanding. Drinks were refilled without even being asked and the chips and salsa ( excellent mild version) were also kept filled without ever asking a question. The food was served promptly and the atmosphere is causal and fun. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are very filling . They have a choice of about 5 desserts that all cost about $6.00 including Churros and Fried ice cream .Unfortunately we were too filled to partake but the Churros that were served at the table next to us looked delicious .

Am I Invisible? Or are the waiters here just Oblivious & Preoccupied?

By Gale M |

Wow...what can I say? We found this place by accident and we should have kept going. We were looking for a quick snack so went to this cafe/cantina...big mistake. We were seated almost immediately...someone brought us water but no one ever came back to take our order. We waited...and waited...and waited while the servers chatted amongst themselves and scurried back and forth. There were few customers at the time so I am not sure what the issue was. We decided that we must be invisible or these are the worst servers ever! We got up and walked out without ordering. Sooo annoyed!

Good food - service better

By lcpotes |

Good food - service better than last I’m not a bug fan of Mexican food but do enjoy theirs. ALSO miss Su Casa - their sister Restuarant serving sushi (same location- shut down due to Covid) Mi Casa also serving TWIN CREEKS steakhouse limited menu - sorry forgot to take picture of menu.

Good Food!

By 865Lynn3612 |

We went for dinner. The food was over all good. We had the sopas and they were tasty and fresh. We had sopas and they were very good! I had white fish tacos and they were great. My husband had the taco salad and he said it was very flavorful. I found the salad shell a little oily.

Surprisingly Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Silverton Casino

By ShadManDu |

This is a fabulous find for a casino. The margaritas were outstanding and the food was surprisingly authentic. Waitstaff was excellent and the overall design was over the top. If you are in Las Vegas, this is in the Silverton. Go and enjoy.

Delicious Tacos

By Bev D |

This will now be one of our favorite places for tacos. We thought they were some of the best we have ever had, and we have had a lot of tacos! The decor is very nice and the service was very good. We go to Las Vegas twice a year, so this place will get our business.

Excellent service and good food, great margaritas too!

By kenmac1 |

Had a function here that was basically appetizers and margaritas which were very good so went back the next night for dinner. Yes, it was good too! Enchiladas and Carne Asada was very good.

Great food and atmosphere

By AnyHerts |

We had a great meal here. Daughter is a vegetarian and they have a great menu for vegetarians. Staff very attentive. Would recommend.

Great chioce

By Vivian A |

The food was really good and the service was even better! the waitress was so nice every thing came out fast, which was a good thing. The restaurant is not on the strip but worth the drive. the nachos were good and all the portions were good. I would definitely go back !

Good atmosphere, good eats!

By erixun |

While staying at the Silverton for a few days, we ate all over Vegas. This was one of my favorite meals. About $20-25 a person, for good food and a fun atmosphere. We had fish tacos, burritos and more at our table, and everyone liked what they had and sampled others... would go back for sure.

Good Casino Dining

By highdesertbadger |

My wife and I were staying here at the Silverton and decided that Mexican food was the winner for the night. The choice was a good one. The menu is extensive, service was very good, prices decent and the quality of our food was better than average for non Mexican run establishments. I'd eat here again.

How Many Times Do They Need to Hear This

By Heidi D |

We dined here this evening and it should have been rated higher except for — the horrible service. Just read three reviews that said exactly this. We waited 20 minutes before asking an unapologetic manager where our server was. About 5 minutes later he arrived, again no mention of how long we’d been waiting. Had no idea what a margarita straight up was (sigh). Finally salads arrived and barely enough time to eat even half the main dishes came and the bus person was trying to snatch my half finished salad. Stopped him from that. Food was good — shrimp done well and a tasty tomatillo sauce. My husband had a fish taco and Chile relleno, which he also enjoyed. Again we had way too long a wait to get the check and get the card back. While there is a somewhat captive audience at the casino this will deter repeat visits or locals. Management needs to get it together and train their staff.

Not to be repeated

By E T |

The restaurant has food from Mexico and Japan, strange combination. We have eaten Mexican, however it was food and that was all. We had burrito's and enchilada. in the burrito's was stuffed with a little bit of meat (not good) and French fries. We never have had French fries in our burrito's, this was the first time. It was very tasteless. Not to be repeated.

Meeting after work

By Tiff M |

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. As soon as we walked in the staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. It was three of us girls, so it was interesting. We had so much fun and the waitor was very patient. We had a great time, but the food was not so great. Now, we loved the chips and salsa that they bring out, but the other food was bland. I had the house margarita and I really liked it. Chicken taquitos were ok, but the tacos and sopas my friend got were bland. I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup, I've had better. He food was hot and delivered at the same time, but it was not what we hoped for. Again, we had a great time and the staff was great, but we will not be back. The prices aren't bad and they do have some deals and happy hour.

Always good, 5 years and counting

By MOC_Jamz |

As someone who travels to Las Vegas twice a year for a week each time on vacation, I've dined here numerous times. One day from my timeshare, I saw this odd place called The Silverton, and asked my best friend if he wanted to check the place out. I saw they had a Mexican restaurant and was surprised, so we went there. WOW is the word to describe what I deem to be the most gorgeous interior of a restaurant. It is beautiful. For such a casual menu, very reasonably priced, the look of the place throws you off. The food is very good, with basic service that I prefer to be basic. The overly dramatic service of the high end restaurants has not only become boring, but the prices you pay for a steak are so outlandish. We got tired of the la dee da high end places and have totally reverted to restaurants like Mi Casa. We always like The Silverton, overall, for gaming as well. The entire place is just beautiful. We prefer the off the strip venues, and there are several that really deliver.

Loved the decor.

By Lorelei S |

We walked over from the TA truck stop and were glad to have discovered a Mexican restaurant nearby. The prices were very reasonable. The decor was upscale. The salsa was excellent. They give you a selection which is a nice touch, since my husband loves spicy hot and I like mild. The food was okay. We should have really paid attention to reviews that mentioned how dry the meats were. We had the chicken salad and a couple of the $2 tacos. Nice flavor, but as has been mentioned elsewhere...dry meat 😔 The marguerites were nice and the waitress suggested the pitcher since it was the same price as two marguerites. Not a tremendous amount more, but just enough for two people. I think I would try the fajitas if we go back again, since they were recommended.

Tasteless Mexican Food

By julie197042 |

We cane here tonight to hopefully enjoy some good Mexican food and we were disappointed to say the least. I ordered the chicken tinga burrito (absolutely no taste at all), my friend ordered the taquitos and queso fundito to be served at the same time, needless to say that didn’t happen. The description of the queso fundito states it has chorizo but in-fact it may have only been melted in chorizo grease! My daughter ordered the carne asada especial and again the meat was tasteless and overcooked (it was ordered medium rare) the corn was so dry it should’ve been used as part if a Thanksgiving decoration near the cornucopia! The ceviche once again had NO taste! I ordered a coke 10 minutes into the meal and we are now 40 minutes into the meal and still no coke! The waiter was horrible he checked on us 1 time and that’s when I ordered my coke that I never received. He was very aloof and inattentive. Do not EVER eat here! The only reason I even gave it 1 star is because that is the only way my review will post.

Yummiful Food!!!!

By M.J. Dekker |

This has to be one of the finest mexican food restaurants we have been to, ever. First off, the service is 5 star, attentive to all your needs. Second , the prices are reasonable for the area here. And, the food,,OMG!! Authentic ,,they even make, the guacamole, fresh, table side,,it sets your taste buds on fire, its soooo good!! Try it here,,you will not regret it,,we are going back for sure!!

Excellent restaurant with great food and service.

By Victor O |

My wife and I have been visiting Silverton Casino for over a year and somehow overlooked this restaurant with beautiful and rich authentic interior. Mi Casa is very cosy place where we were met with sincere (not corporate) welcoming smiles. The waiters are very helpful. They sincerely advise you the best and the most popular food and they don't load you with the quantity. After you have made your choice they serve you quickly and care to check on their guests several times. Our waiter new by heart all beers, and wines and recommended certain tequilas for our "Margaritas".

Delicious experience

By rezz07 |

My wife and I loved this restaurant inside the Silverton Hotel and Casino. The chips and salsa are wonderful. The skillets are amazing. I really enjoyed the margaritas as well. The servers were very attentive and kind to us both times we had dinner here. Will definitely return if only for the restaurant.

Excellent service by Manager Matt and his staff ! Great service from Jessica. Impressed by their commitment to do a great job ! Good food - good drinks (Margaritas) and desserts ! Highly recommend ! Chips and salsa tasty - Mon / Tues AYCE taco/margarita special

Excellent service

By Czufam |

Staying at the Berkley and went over to Silverton for dinner. Short wait to be seated. Our server Jordan was the best we have had in years, anywhere! Handled everything very professionally. The food was pretty good and plentiful, we had the steak fajitas for two. We would return to eat in the future.

Excellent Mexican Food

By Sue T |

Short drive from Oasis RV Resort, located inside the Silverton Casino. Third visit to this restaurant. Sort of gourmet Mexican food. Had Camarones Verdes - perfectly cooked large shrimp over rice with Carmelites onions - and champagne! Great combo ! Husband had three street tacos and said they were great also. They do the traditional complementary chips and salsa but three salsas. One is habanero I think they said and very good but so were the others!

Japanese Mexican fusion

By Jill |

Delicious comped house margarita if you play video poker. Seriously amazing nigiri, and I feel like I have pretty high standards as far as sushi goes. I had the ramen on a previous visit and highly recommend!

A hidden gem!!

By TravelingTraci |

What a great find!! The best meal of our trip and one of the cheapest. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it, loved the variety of salsa that came with the chips too. We were lucky enough to get in on happy hour so we all had a couple margaritas which were very tasty. I would definitely go back.....this place is great!

Nice place if you are in the Silverton....

By AngusPodgorny1960 |

I'm on an extended project in Las Vegas, and frequent the Silverton. This is a nice place inside the casino, with sit-down service. The food was good and the service nice. Would probably come back, but just know the bar isn't stocked super-well (only had one brand of gin for example, and many of the Mexican beers were not on tap?). Otherwise, a nice place.

Good dinner alternative in the Casino

By Greg12342014 |

If you want to stay in the casino for a meal, Mi Casa is good. Great service. Reasonable beers. Very big servings so consider splitting an entre after you load up on very good chips and salsa.

Awesome Food and Service!!

By shopping62 |

Food Is outstanding. Special requests are no problem. I have dietary restrictions and Chef Antonio worked around those and served up a wonderful Mexican delight. Truly awesome. We will be back. Party of 4 and no complaints. Chips and Salsa are complimentary and delicious. All 4 entrees were large and well worth the money. Desserts were exceptional. Fried ice cream, cheesecake and churros - yummy!!!

Good Eats.

By Mark S |

I've eaten here a couple of times. I really love the street taco's. Was happy to arrive on a Wednesday and see that even though I missed taco Tuesday, I could still get street tacos.

Fajita

By crobin |

We had the buy one get one free. Shrimp was awesome, steak was tough. Over all it was good. Would do again.

The best Fajita

By anatayla |

I went with my boyfriend because we was looking a restaurant to lunch, We order a chicken fajita was amazing great teast, the best chips I ever teaste. Very recomendable a great atmosphere you have to try it.

Great food and fun atmosphere!

By JJR7436 |

Found this little gem while visiting the Silverton Casino. We ended up going back for a second meal, we liked it that much! We tried different food both nights. The street tacos were delicious. Our party also had: Santa Rosa salad, fish tacos and chicken burritos. All of our meals were delicious. Both nights our service was excellent, very attentive wait staff. We even indulged in dessert. The churros were warm and sweet and came with three very delicious dipping sauces. Would definitely dine here again. Our party left happy and full!!

Excellent Fajitas!

By gypsylady002a |

This is one of the best Mexican places off the Strip and better than many on the Strip. We have eaten here a number of times and either we'll split a Chicken Fajita for 2 for $24 (steak, shrimp and a combo are available too) or we'll get a burrito - I like the Carnitas/Pork Burrito for $13. It is stuffed with Mexican rice and beans, topped with melted cheese and served with a side of rice and beans, sour cream and pico de gallo. Personally I think they put too much rice inside the burrito so I ask them to leave it out. My husband gets the ground beef burrito ($13) with the same stuffing inside as the pork one. They don't list ground beef under their burrito selection but it is available. When you are seated they bring you a big basket of chips and 3 types of salsa - hot, mild and a green mild sauce - all are very good. The chips aren't overly salty either. They also have a number of appetizers, different variations of Tacos and specialty dinners. There is a full bar inside the restaurant that mixes up delicious Margaritas! Service has always been excellent and recommend eating here if in the area. Since the restaurant in located inside the Silverton Casino, plenty of parking is available. It is conveniently located off of I-215 or I-15.

Mid-Range Prices and Delicious Food

By Susan B |

I had the Santa Rosa Shrimp Salad. It was very good. It was a meal by it self. he price was affordable.

Delicious food, extremely friendly service

By Kevin C |

Mi Casa Grill Cantina is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, and also an excellent value for the price. The service is always friendly and efficient, and we've eaten there many times and have never had a bad experience. In fact, since we live in Las Vegas, we often take home the delicious leftovers.

OK Food, OK Prices, Horrible Service

By Lvbryant |

Stopped by for dinner when Twin Creeks was closed. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were takes right away. Then nothing... for nearly half an hour. Finally we got our drinks, then we got chips and sat there with drinks and chips for another half hour... no dinner order taken, no water refills, nada. After ordering our food arrived and was OK, not food, but not bad. After eating, in a very cramped space since no empty dishes had been cleared away, we sat for another 20 minutes. Finally when the waiter, Danny, came back we asked for a check which took 20 minutes to get back. 2 hours for a quick bite after work. Not ok.

BEST MEXICAN

By Carol R |

Love this restaurant. The homemade chips and salsa are fantastic. Food is home made and to die for. This is a hidden gem. Wish it was open for lunch. You can get a pitcher of homemade margaritas for $18 and it is a huge pitcher. A must in Vegas

Good food not great service

By danni19721972 |

The chips and salsa served before the meal are outstanding. Flavorful salsas and crisp delicious chips. The meals themselves were also good. The rice served on the side was one of the better Mexican rices I have had. The shredded chicken in the enchiladas was also good. The fajaitas on the other hand were not great. The chicken was tough and the sides were not plentiful enough for the number of tortillas served. You only had enough salsa and sour cream for max 2 and they served 3. The service was not good at all. The waiter did not refill our chips eventhogh we had lots of salsa left so we had to ask. We also did not get drink refills and the waiter didn’t even bring my husbands drink at all. The restaurant was not busy at all so there was no excuses for the poor service

Excellent Mexican food and service

By Jola O |

This restaurant was close so decided to give it a try. It's inside the Silverado Resort Casino. We were so pleasantly surprised! The food was wonderful and the service exceptional. The dressing for my taco salad was too spicy, so the wait staff ran over to the buffet and got me some ranch dressing. I will definitely be going back.

Delicious Mexican Food

By Donna D |

We had a late lunch early dinner on a Sunday. The Mexican food was delicious. We did combo plates to taste the various items. It was quite. The service was exceptional.

Surprisingly good.

By chsnhvn |

Vegas has a huge shortage of Mexican restaurants. Fortunately, this place is far better than the typical bad Mexican food offerings that the ore offered in Vegas. We got the street tacos and margarita special for $12. Very good! The tacos are loaded with quality carne asada. My wife got the $15 carne asada burrito. It came with rice and beans. Stuffed with meat. The meal was exceptional and our server was a very pleasant lady. Great job Mi Casa!

Very good Mexican food

By NitroDog |

Very nice atmosphere. Very good Mexican food. Fresh and tasty salsa. Very good service. I will return.

Mexican food

By pbuckley124 |

Deeeeeelicious! We've been here a few times and always had a great experience. Food is gourmet Mexican. The restaurant's gorgeous! The food presentation is wonderful. Patron pitcher of margaritas are delicious. Very romantic place to bring a date. Prices are average Mexican restaurant. Id probably suggests dressing decent not fancy clothes but not sweats

Great atmosphere food just okay

By Norjeff2 |

Located inside the Silverton Casino, this restaurant has great service and great decor. Prior to ordering the waiter provides 3 type of salsas and chips. One is spicy, one chunky and one as a tomatillo salsa. All three were good. My wife ordered mushroom enchiladas and she really liked them. Me and my boys ordered combo chicken and beef enchiladas. Each comes with rice and beans. The food was plentiful but the sauce on the enchiladas was not great. The beef and the chicken were cooked correctly but the retried beans were bland. Overall with tax and tip it came to $65. Reasonable but could have been a little better.

Mi Casa Grill Cantina - Silverton Casino

By Sheri G |

Located inside the Silverton Casino is my FAVORITE Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas - Mi Casa Grill Cantina. It's a nice dimly lit cantina with Day of the Dead Style Mexican Decor. I recommend Taco Madness NEW: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 7pm $12 Taco Combo 3 tacos and one house margarita (frozen or rocks) or 16 oz. draft beer You get your choice of Pastor Marinated Pork **My personal favorite** corn tortilla, pineapple, cilantro, salsa casero Carne Asada marinated beef, corn tortilla, cilantro, onion, salsa quemada Roasted Chicken flour tortilla, guacamole crema, cotija cheese, pickled red onion All three are super good and you can mix and match, so you can try all three or just the ones you prefer. Comes with free house chips with 3 different house salsas. With more than 65 varieties of Premium Tequila, you have plenty to choose from. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. Makes a great dinner date or just to hang with friends.

LOVE the combo - Mi Casa and Su Casa

By lcpotes |

It’s works for my family. My daughter likes Mexican and my son likes Sushi. Both Restuarants have great dishes ! Love their enchiladas, shrimp and steak plates. Love their Lobster Diablo roll their best but have many other good sushi dishes. Plus you can get a margarita or sake plus Mexican or Japanese beer ! Service good and managers Matt and Eric always great !

Don’t sit in Juan’s section

By rodschaffer |

Dined a few days ago with another couple. Seated immediately but not greeted for several minutes. I think a server (assistant/ bus person) came with water and chips. Chips and salsa were good but the server didn’t come by to take our drink order until we finished off the second basket. Finally he came over, introduced himself as “Juan” took our order, came by to drop off check/ pickup check and RAN off. Juan gave us one of the worst dining experiences ever and seemed to not care whatsoever. Anyway, think twice before you go to this place inside of the Silverton and if you get JUAN as your server, RUN!

Visit the casino about once a week, first time we visited this restaurant. Had a 50% off voucher so decided to check it out. You get free corn chips and selection of salsas, we had nachos to start with, i had chicken fijitas, partner had burrito, food was amazing, service was great, will be back for sure.

Yes Yes Yes!!!

By shoeindynutz29 |

Perfect Mexican food. Our group was extremely pleased with Mi Casa Cantina. Grab a pitcher of watermelon margarita's. Best drink ever. The food was some of the best Mexican dishes we have ever eaten. Highly Recommend!

Let down by poor service and uninteresting food.

By Just_the_cook |

Miss-able Mexican to eat at. We were enticed by the décor but let down by poor service and run of the mill food. We were shown to a dirty table, we lifted the menu's off the table as they came back and wiped the food debris from the previous eaters from the table. Only one set of cutlery, they forgot there was two of us. The salsa was extremely bland that came with the chips and was not refilled. Our starter to share came with no side plates, the deep fried avocado was OK, but the Pico it came with was not Pico, it missed any zing whatsoever. They tried to deliver our main course to the wrong table :0( We asked for water and it came at the end of the meal. So in all, there are better places if you're looking for a Mexican meal.

Very enjoyable meal

By browncow6 |

We were in a really long line for the Seasons Buffet at the Silverton at dinnertime. We decided to skip the buffet and try Mi Casa. Really glad we did. Our meal was really good and reasonably priced. Service was equally good. We will definitely eat here again next visit to the Silverton.

Mexican at a Reasonable Price

By mkolostrick |

Love their Fajitas, comes to your table piping hot. They have specials certain nights (buy one get one), as well as a three taco and a margarita special for $12. Located at the Silverton Casino right off the I-15 south of the strip. Chips and Salsa come automatically. Try the fried ice cream for dessert. Not normally a fan of Mexican food but we are fans of Mi Casa.

Surprisingly good meal

By Dan E |

We were visiting Bass Pro Shop and it was approaching dinner time. We noticed there was a Mexican restaurant inside the casino and we thought it was work a try. We were not really expecting much and it started with a 20 minute wait, but we stuck it out. We are glad we did. We started with the Avocado fries, they were great. The $2 street tacos we great as well. As a family that eats a lot of Mexican food and has pretty high standards, we were very impressed. The service was good, they brought more chips and water before we could ask. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly go back.

Nice Atmosphere

By Kat654 |

Also inside the Silverton Casino this restaurant is decent, but not the best Mexican food I've ever had. The service was good and the portions were plentiful.

Wow - delicious ! What can

By lcpotes |

Wow - delicious ! What can I say but Chef Antonio serves up an outstanding dish ! We thoroughly enjoyed our NYE dinner - thanks to Bryan Executive Hotel Manager of Operations and Restuarant Manager Gina ! Good service by Alex ! I haven’t eaten lobster since Hawaii, I love me Shrimp from MCGC so always good, first time trying scallops better than I thought and good with crab meat bearnaise sauce. Here’s to ending the year on a good note !

Good Mexican joint in Casino

By Michael C |

This is located in Silverton Casino. We started with delicious Margaritas and ordered the table side guacamole. Chips and salsa were brought of course and were very good. The guacamole was good but a little salty for my taste so we had to get more Margaritas! I ordered a sampler with a seafood enchilada and a portobello enchilada. They were both very good as well. They like you to wear a mask until you start getting drinks/food but like everywhere it seems there is no enforcement.

GREAT

By HunterDave3006 |

We had the sea food Enchiladas they were great!!!! great staff plenty of room to streach out not much of a wait they realy try to do a good job

Nice surprise!

By vconvey |

We went over to the Silverton from our timeshare at the Grandview due to promotional material we were handed at check-in. Had never been over there before. Had a great time in the casino and had a late lunch at Mi Casa. What a wonderful treat! We both had one of their weekend specials - a huge taco salad. Have had some very good taco salads at home in Colorado, but this was one of the best we have ever had! Very tasty and quite generous portions. We plan to try another menu item before we leave town. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Don't think you will be disappointed. Service was prompt and professional. Decor is very nice.

Terrific

By Theodore O |

Learned you could put watermelon and jalapeno peppers in a Margarita. I would go there again. Food was great.

Best Carnitas taco's next to mine.

By Bob L |

Wow competition, the carnitas plate is so good I had it two days in a row. Their refried beans and rice were also excellent. I didn't try anything else and don't think I ever will.

Frozen margaritas - gotta try

By tnlag |

This is one of our favorite places for reasonably priced Mexican food in a comfortable setting. The establishment appears to be abiding by sanitation guidelines although it was noticed that the slots and tables did not have any of the plexiglass shields. Temperatures are taken at the door. Reservations are encouraged - not sure if they are required. The homemade chips and 3 different kind of salsas are a great way to start. Any meal we have ordered has been delicious and generous portions. To my knowledge all the food is homemade. The frozen margaritas are one of the best I have ever had. Valet service is not available, but there is plenty of surrounding parking. Restaurant does not open until 5pm.

Good Times

By TallTVTravellers |

Went to Mi Casa because we had been touring all day outside of Vegas and needed some good Mexican food (I.e. margaritas). Had to drive by a bunch of chain-Mex and then one place that only offered beer and wine (really!?). Mi Casa is inside the Silverton casino and provided what we needed - margaritas and fajitas. Great margaritas but the steak in the fajitas was a bit over cooked (we were told it’s precooked as medium well to well done) and not very much of it in, amongst, the peppers and onions. Chips were thick and very tasty, especially with the 3 varieties of salsa they provided. All in all, it was just what we needed after a hard drive!

UPDATE- IMPROVED Since my last visit

By IronMerMayden |

Yay! I'm so glad they are back to being an excellent restaurant again. I had their chicken tortilla soup and I'm hooked, real tasty. Also had their street tacos, tasty. My hubby got the Santa Rosa Chickecn Salad (see pic) and that's yummy again. I'm very very pleased that they are back to great tasting food. So happy!

Great Mexican Food

By Patty S |

Restaurant is not on the strip but easy to get to and very reasonably priced! We truly appreciated the decor, the customer service was great and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return! I can’t wait to return.

One of our favorite Mexican Restaurants

By TBMVEGAS |

We are locals and have brunch or dinner here 1-2 times a month. The food is amazing each and every time but the service is hit or miss each and every time. The Hostess always very welcoming! Even though the service is not always so great we continue to go back as the food again is amazing and so worth a recommendation

Satisfied my Mexican food craving!

By NancyRoweNH |

I live in the East, where there is very little decent Mexican food. When I arrived in Las Vegas my cousin suggested we go to Mi Casa. My only complaint about Mi Casa is the booths. They are up a step from the floor. I was afraid I might miss the step and fall, so we asked to be seated at a table instead. The chips and salsa were out of this world. They gave us three kinds of salsa with them. The server was great. My cousin is a vegetarian and she said her vegetarian meal was tasty. I had a taco and enchilada, and both were excellent. Refried beans and rice were top of the line. There was enough food to make a second meal out of it. My cousin and I ate the leftovers the next day, and they were still great. The next time I go to Las Vegas, Mi Casa will be my first destination. Highly recommend it!

pretty good

By ShawnAZ1 |

Sat at the bar area for dinner.Service was good,Food was very good I had the chilli rellenos very good maybe the best I ever had.Drinks are good and cold and come in a timely manner. The only draw back was a waiter was complaining and moaning about some customers to the bartenders. That should never happen.

Great service by Billy great food!

By k8ybilly |

We decided to try Mi Casa because of a free dining credit we received on our first night at the Silverton. The server, Billy was very attentive and the food was excellent! We had the fajita for two and it was more than enough for just two people. The margaritas were very tasty. Atmosphere is very intimate. We enjoyed everything at the Silverton and will return.

Good Mexican food and lots of drinks to choose from

By devnprt1 |

Clean indoor seating in the corner of the Silverton Casino. Valet parking available with lots of parking. Masks not required for vaccinated customers due to changes in Nevada Covid rules. Tables and booths for your enjoyment.

Bad service, don’t bother going!

By Tourist |

Poor service for no reason. 15 minutes waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant. when a woman came over and saw I was alone she told me to just sit at the bar. 12 minutes at bar and no one took a drink or food order so I left. Bad service...how about no service!!!

Service was good, food ok

By Me H |

Ate at casa Mia on property of Silverton Hotel and Casino. Service was good, kept our drinks and chips full. The carna asada was to tough to chew. Taco salad was ok. A few small pieces of meat. The "street tacos" looked good, but the meat was tough and tasteless, tried the chicken and carne asada. Average price $15/person.

Excellent Find

By Bartender John |

Great freshly made meals. Comparable to meals prepared when visited small towns in Mexico. Very reasonable prices/large entre portions for a restaurant located in Silverton Casino. Clean, roomy, efficient/professional staff.

Needed A Mexican Food Fix

By Rondo |

We stayed at The Silverton Hotel May 27-30. We did not want to drive so we gave Mi Casa a try. Ambiance - Mi Cas is decorated quite nicely. Reminds you of Mexico. Service - was good. Were seated quickly by hostess. Our server was courteous and quick. Food - Ordered Tableside Guacamole which was prepared at table by server. $9.00 dollars. Margaritas were tasty. Chips and Salsa were complimentary. 3 different salsas came with chips. Ordered one 3 item dinner to share. 1 taco, Chicken Enchilada, and Chili Relleno. Dinner included rice & beans. All items with dinner were good but not over the top. Pricing a a little steep but you are in Vegas. We are from So. Cal. where Mexican Food can be found and is a little more authenic. But Mi Cas got the job done for our Mexican Food Fix.

Ate 2 nights in this restaurant. Food was good. For $12 you can order 3 Taco's and a Margarita - can't go wrong with that.

Give me a break!

Went to the hostess at 5pm (in the South Point Casino ). Was informed that it would be a one hour wait. I asked why given that the place was empty. Was told a party of 15 was expected? I asked if I could be seated at the bar? Was told I could do that. So we got the taco special. Street Tacos for $3 a piece. Service was good but food ordinary. When left the restaurant was still empty and no large party observed. Pretty bad business practice. I would avoid.

Dinner with kids

By Hendersoned |

The kids and I stopped here after a visit to the Bass Pro shop (a must see). I had happy hour tacos, one pork and one chicken. Both were interesting, the menu said roasted chicken I believe, was not roasted but pretty good anyway. My son had Taquitos, they looked outstanding, he loved them. My daughter had chicken sopes and thought the sope was odd but tasted good, not light and aerie as it should be... she loved the rice. Lots of chips and 3 flavors of salsa. Pretty good service and Coke products!!

Cool resturant-good special

Got a margarita and three tacos for $10. Chicken was dry and the margarita tasted watered down. Not great but the price was right.

Mexican dining with class

I could just stare at the talavera pottery displays, but…the food is top rate. I especially love the swai fish special with a wonderful capered sauce. Ask for the burritos chimichanga style for a change. Friendly service, wide selection. I recommend, especially if you're looking for dishes that have an American appeal as well as traditional Mexican.

Been here every time I go to Vegas!

I'am in Vegas for work 4 x a year. Best high end mex. food in Vegas. In the Venetian Hotel by the Canals so great ambiance as well.

Decent food

By Sierra T |

The bartender that served us in the bar took over for the missing cocktail server. He was fantastic! Ordered taquitos (delicious) and a combo plate with taco and enchilada (nothing to brag home about). This is your basic Mexican food with a little more flavor and flare.

Great meal

Ordered the chicken fajitas for 2 $25. The chips came with 3 types of salsa and were delicious. The fajitas were delicious also, the chicken was tender juicy and tasty. The restaurant was very nice. Will be returning.

Excellent Mexican cafe in Silverton Casino

By Andy W |

Nice, quiet booths for visiting and an excellent choice of entrees. Not the best Mexican in town, but passable. Guacamole needs some heat, but chile verde was served in a soup bowl and delicious. They should have trimmed more fat, though.

Mi Casa Grill

By Ed G |

Mi Casa Grill is located inside of the Silverton Casino. After dining here on many occasions, I can honestly say that the service and meal quality exceed anything that you will find on the Las Vegas strip. Portions are generous and provide an excellent value. The pork carnitas should not be missed.

Good Food & atmosphere!

We met friends here while visiting in town. The menu options were good, the food was prepared well, nice decor. Good option for basic Mexican fare.

Very good food in a good room.

Restaurant is a nice big room with good decor. Food is good and was served hot. Rice and refried beans and tortillas were all very good. Prices are reasonable and they have food and drink specials. We will return.

Food good, service ok

It was an interesting concept to have a Mexican and sushi restaurant mix. I was a bit concerned to eat Mexican food there at first. However, the food was really good. Our server was very quiet and hard to hear. The service wasn't exceptional, but adequate. I would definitely return to eat there if we stay at Silverton again.

Delicious South of the Border Classics

By ChiefGuru |

While vacationing in Vegas, we hooked up with some local friends that brought us to Mi Casa, as it is one of their favorite Mexican restaurants. Mi Casa is located within the Silverton Casino, just off the casino floor. The six of us visited on a week night and were able to immediately get seated at 7:00 PM. The restaurant, of course, as a South of the Border decor/theme. The inner is nicely divided into separate dining areas for groups of different sizes. Further, the layout does provide a sense of privacy (i.e. you are not on top of nearby diners). The server was friendly, efficient and fast in satisfying our drink and food needs. They have a complete bar, which features premium tequila (go figure) – more than 65 varieties for sipping (añejo) or shooting (blanco). We were a bit more basic enjoying beers or vodka cocktails. Their menu has whatever Mexican fancy suits your palate - guacamole, tostaditas, ceviche, quesadilla, nachos, fritos, taquitos, sopes, queso fundido, bean dip, ensalada, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, with all the usual sides, and more. In my case, I went for the Chicken Tinga Burrito (shredded chicken, caramelized onions, spanish rice, black beans, Oaxaca/Asadero cheese and red enchilada sauce). This definitely was a filling meal. No problem suggesting this restaurant as a perfect option for good Mexican cuisine.

Excellent south of the border.

We go here for fajitas but beware. The servings are huge and delicious. Great salsa, nice decor, very good Mexican food. I would have a light lunch if you are going here for supper. This is a good value.

YUM... worth the drive from the Strip.....

By VAN-BC-Traveller |

Have driven by the Silverton Casino many time and finally stopped in to check out the casino and restaurants. After wandering around and checking the various menus we decided on Mi Casa. Great choice!. Endless chips and salsa (3 types) and margaritas started things off and various entrees ordered. Never seen fajitas come that sizzling hot to a table before. All items were well prepared, excellent taste, nice size portions and well priced. If required they do have a gluten free menu, just ask. Need to wear off dinner and want a few laughs, go bowling after dinner. You'll never believe where it is! Yes, we would come back again for dinner.

Best hotel mexican food

By lost_bobcat |

We were very surprised at how good and how reasonable the food was at this restaurant within the Silverton hotel. The Margarita was good, but more than the cost of a dinner. Service was good in this colorful eye catching restaurant.

Great Meals!

We really enjoy going to Mi Casa a couple of times each year when we stay at the Silverton during the NASCAR race weekend. The servings are generous and very filling. I love the $2 street tacos, chips & salsa, Chicken Quesadilles---are awesome! You get a lot for a great price--well worth the stop.

Succulent Mexican Dishes

Mi Casa inside The Silverton Casino is perfect and affordable. My wife and I enjoyed our Tequila drinks and the food very much. Our waiter started us with chips and 3 kinds of salsa. We shared a wonderfully crispy and tender order of calamari with a delicious dipping sauce for an appetizer. I opted for the shrimp enchiladas , and my wife ordered steak and chicken Fajitas for our main course. Oh so good! Service was excellent and the bill was reasonable. We will be returning to Mi Casa and would recomment to any Mexican Food lovers.

Gorgeous Restaurant But Service & Food Needs Work

By moviegal226 |

I dine at Mi Casa a few times a year because it's convenient and they run great specials that are constantly changing. The current deal is $10 for 3 tacos and a house margarita. Having said that, it's just not that great of a restaurant. First off, the space is huge. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is fantastic, but the cavernous space is so big that most of it goes to waste (I've never ONCE seen any activity in the open tortilla kitchen; the place just gave up on making fresh tortillas. Sad). They always clam to have a 'wait' even if only a few tables are full. I think this is a casino ploy / policy so you'll drop some money in the slots while you wait. Don't plan to have a quick meal here because the service is notoriously atrociously slow. I'm talking waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged, not getting refills on your drinks, and sitting around for 20 minutes after repeatedly asking for the check. This is, sadly, the norm at Mi Casa. I don't know if they don't have enough servers or what, but I've never had good service at this restaurant (and I've been dining here since they first opened)! The food can be hit or miss. As with most casino restaurants, the food is really overpriced. Expect to pay $15 - $18 for mediocre fajitas with tiny portion sizes. I've had good meals here and I've had awful meals here. The kitchen does appetizers well so you can't really go wrong with the queso, avocado fries (one of my favorite menu items), chips with salsa, or simple fare like cheese quesadillas. I'll continue to dine at Mi Casa because I know how slow and poor the service can be and I can plan for it. Go for the specials because they are a great value. Just be prepared to sit and wait...and wait some more.

Not bad at all

We picked this place for proximity reasons and had low expectations. However, it was pretty decent for a casino restaurant. Seemed to be a pretty new establishment. Has all the typical mexican dishes but lots of fresh veggies and herbs.
