Very popular Mexican food establishment buried in a shopping center at the southwest corner of Forest and Preston. Mi Cocina is currently the top dog Mexican food chain in Dallas and this is their best location. There is sometimes a wait for a table, but expect good service when seated. I was a little hesitant to write a review for this location, since I eat here often. Do us locals a favor and try one of the other locations.

We were a family of 7 including a baby, and the wait staff could not be nice. We started immediately with warm nacho chips and yummy salsa which was quickly replenished as soon as we removed the last chip. The food arrived quickly and all dishes were delicious. But mostly we appreciated the kindness of the staff concerning the baby who left an ankle deep pile of rice on the floor. They couldn't have been nicer!

Casual, but nice. Seated and served quickly, and food is fantastic and high quality. Be sure to order a Mambo Taxi - it's delicious.

Dropped by Sunday night with a big party. Zaid took very good care of us and kept my drink full. Will be back again!

Had a very nice experience tonight with excellent food, and will be asking for Zaid the next time I come in as he was friendly with excellent suggestions! Can’t go wrong with the Brisket Tacos!

Great menu, great service, awesome Mambo Taxis. Came here with a large group. Service was great although they were a bit funny when some of our party were late and they were threatening to fill the table with other people. Once they arrived, though, it was all good. I've been here 3 times now and always excellent food and drink.

Nice place, fun atmosphere, good food and take out available. Chips and salsa were great, portions were average, service was quick and attentive.

Our favorite Mi Cocina in an ugly strip shopping center has been serving up reliable favorites since the '90s. If you want a traditional combo, get the Luann's and substitute a chicken enchilada for the regular one. If you want something a little different, try Tacos de Brisket with corn tortillas. Mambo taxi, a swirl of frozen sangria and margarita is the go-to drink for those who drink alcohol. A large order of guacamole will feed a table of 4. The kitchen is incredibly consistent and quick. Very kid friendly - if you don't like kids, this might not be your place. They will bring you a flan and sing las mananitas (the Mexican birthday song) on your birthday. If you are visiting Dallas, there are several locations around town. Worth a visit!

When we visit the Dallas area, we always plan a stop at our favorite Mexican food restaurant - Mi Cocina. We enjoy their enchiladas, tacos, fajitas and guacamole. Their atmosphere is an elegant yet casual feel. We have been to several of their locations in the Dallas area and have never been disappointed.

Mi Cocina has good food and service. Good Opening chips and salsa are also good. The sunset sauce and the guacamole are very good. Easy parking Good entrees with the quesadillas and the fajitas.

Can’t go to Texas without having some Tex Mex food and this place turned out to be an excellent choice. It was busy, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table on a Wednesday night but it was worth the wait. The service was prompt and professional and our food arrived very fast. The street tacos were a bit spicy ( our waitress did warn us) but very flavorful. I would definitely here again.

A Dallas favorite, well priced Tex-Mex food.

The food was its usual consistent self. Had the fajitas, salads and enchiladas (a bit dry). All good but nothing outstanding. Service was not as good as usual. Had to ask several times for drinks, salsa, etc. Not a great night, but will probably return.

On our last day in Dallas, after loading a U-Haul in the August heat, we treated ourselves to Mi Cocina's for dinner. We had a wonderful waiter and began with the best margarita ever! To be clear, we could likely have eaten a cardboard box at this point, but the guacamole and chips were delicious starters while waiting for our meals. We ordered chicken enchilada dinners and they were very good. Large portions and good food. Try it sometime when in Dallas.

The four of us go here a lot. The food was very good as usual (queso, chicken and quesadillas). The service was at best sporadic. Hard to get the waiters attention, get the check, get drinks, etc. We will return but hope the service is more consistent.

I've been to several Mi Cocina's and they all live up to their expectations. The location of this ones seems to bring about the more noticeable crowd. My daughter and I went on Monday around 6:30pm and it was packed! We were lucky to grab two seats at the back bar. Service was a little crazy but we were willing to put up with it so we could eat- no big deal. Love their salsa, chips are average. Mambo taxi margaritas, a house specialty is certain to please. Food portions are large so you could absolutely share. A buzzing mixed crowd of families, birthday parties, business diners and pretty people. This will be one of our regular favorites :)

I believe that this is the original Mi Cocina location. It is certainly the best. They have set the standard for every day Dallas Tex-Mex for over 2 decades. There are fancier styles of Mexican food, but this is basic Tex-Mex done well that everyone returns to time after time.

Not the Tex Mex I'm used to. This seemed closer to authentic Mexican food. The food was good and the atmosphere back by the bar was nice. The service was good as well. I just prefer something more truly Tex Mex. There is the option to dine outside if you are interested in that.

This restaurant is the standard for TexMex in the Dallas area. We visit here often and the staff is very good and well trained. I think that management could sell training services to other restaurants. Dallas has a lot of different styles of Mexican food, which I enjoy, but this is very straight forward and very good.

I love this Mi Cocina. It's a hidden treasure, because it isn't as busy as the uptown or HP Village locations. Same great food and service, and a really nice space.

On a very crowded Friday night, the service was timely and excellent. The wait was minimal. The food was very good, and consistent with other visits. The chicken fajitas were good and ample enough for two to share. A good RICO salad with chicken, and the jumbos rancheros were good with the eggs cooked to order. Full bar, and interesting mixed drinks.

Had a dinner here for a work group of 30 people. Chips, salsa and drunks were all filled promptly and refilled quickly as well. Food came out quickly. Most of the group was very pleased with taste if their food. One person said that the tamales they ordered were cold.

When the sunset fajitas at Mi Cocina are good, they are terrific. I often order them through Uber Eats. However, about 1/3 of the time, they are awful. On those occasions, the meat is stringy, often not fully cut into small slices, and the onion rings are soggy. I never know which I will get. I keep coming back because it is worth it when I get the fajitas with good meat and good onion rings. Considering how much the fajitas cost, however, the restaurant should make a better effort to ensure consistent quality.

Were at Mi Cocina (West Village) and the food was awesome. Had a church group of 24 and our waitress and the manager (Manny) on duty helped with our tables and they were wonderful. The manager thru in some queso dip. Awesome! Will definitely be back.

Did not realise that this was part of a chain when we visited. Service was good but food was average.

We got the chefs special- tacos al carbon. What a disappointment. Every bite was a bite into fat. The margaritas were nothing to edge about.

It's hard to focus on the food when the waitress comes over to your table eight times in 45 minutes and gives you your check when you are still eating. No one was waiting for a table, either. Very strange experience.

This restaurant is so good everyone I know in Dallas eats here and its always packed and its very kid friendly and good.

I took an out-of-town business colleague to dinner, based upon my prior experience at other Mi Cocina locations in the Dallas area. Unfortinately this time my experience was mixed. We both ordered Mi Cocina margaritas, which are delivered promptly and in a large glass. Taste was good, but compared to the Presidente Margarita at Chili's the night before, this one is inferior even though comparably priced. For my main entree, I had the BBQ brisket enchiladas, and was somewhat disappointed. I found them to be a bit on the dry side -- needed more enchilada sauce ladled over the top to bring more moisture. My business friend ordered Sunset Chicken and was quite satisfied, but he rarely has good Mexican food where he lives overseas. We also enjoyed the substantial, complementary fresh chips and salsa to begin the meal. I'm not ready to drop Mi Cocina from my "go to" Mexican list, but probably not this location.

Saw a bunch of cars outside this restaurant, always a good sign so we went in. Service was reasonable and our server was very friendly. I ordered the Tacos Mi Tierra and it was spicy delicious.......... enjoyed it tremendously. The restaurant atmosphere however was very disappointing. Very little effort was put into the design and decor, you basically felt that you were in a basic large room in a Plaza. In summary, the quality of the food makes for fantastic takeout, but not a nice experience for a lunch or dinner outing.

My wife and I have been here many times (most recently with her parents for lunch). The service is always prompt and welcoming. The food is always great. And, the prices are very reasonable. Personally I like the salsa very much - the best in my opinion (although I realize salsa often comes down to personal tastes and preferences). We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living or visiting Dallas.

We had no problem finding a parking place & a short wait (10 mins). We had margaritas in the bar while we waited & they were just right ~ not too sweet. I love the contemporary decor, as opposed to traditional Mexican decor. It's crisp, neat & clean. Love their salsa! Great waiter. The food was so good. My husband out-ordered everyone & had their delicious brisket tacos. I had the enchilada dinner with one of each of three kinds of enchiladas ~ all good. We'll be back & I'll have the Tacos de Brisket next time!

the food is good but the waiters try to rush you out the door. I had put my fork down to take a drink and they tried to take my plate of food away. They stated that they thought I was finished eating - I had only taken 2 bites of my food. This has happened to me at all the Mi Cocina's I have eaten at - they are in a hurry to get you out

I will start off by saying our server Bob was amazing and one of a kind. Second I will say that the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Every time I am in Dallas Mi Cocina is one of my first stops. I love the street tacos and really most everything on the menu. Tonight was the second bad experience as of late. We had a bad waiter with an attitude. Three of the plates came out cold. One was sent back and the replacement came out unevenly cooked and cold. I never received an apology and finally asked for one of the plates to be removed after a tray came crashing down by our table full of food. The manger was not friendly and acted very "deer in headlights" all evening. We were all disappointed that one of our favorite places has started to decline in service and their quality of there food. Next time I am in town Mi Cocina will not be included in my visit.

We were really looking for a good Tex Mex meal and were told to try Mi Cocina. Even though it is a chain, this location at least is very good. The Mambo Taxi drink is delicious. Very good guacamole and great brisket tacos.

We went about a month ago and returned last night. The food (fajitas) was consistently good with the chicken fajitas quite tasty. Last night, the service was excellent. Diverse menu with gluten free options.

Great food and service. we eat here often. margaritas are awesome! most staff members have been there for many years. we highly recommend Mico.

4 of us had dinner. The food and service were both good. Decent chips and salsa. The fajitas were very good as was the huevos and the chicken quesadillas. Overall, a good meal.

There are plenty of restaurants in this area, but on this occasion I was looking for good, fast and informal food. The food was great but this review is about the service and the Double barrel Margaritas, which provided the icing on the cake :) a good choice for Mexican in the area.

Dinner is always delicious at Mi Cocina. Everyone loved their entrees and we had more than enough food to fill our bellies. Our servers were excellent and kept our glasses full. We dined with children as well and they had great selections for the kids.

Food is fresh and good, but nothing special. Lunch specials are a god deal. Get there early for lunch. Dinner is slower paced.

I have been eating at Mi Cocina (Preston/Forest location) regularly for the past 5 years, if not longer. I either dine in or take out from this location at least 1-2 times per month. That will sadly be coming to an end. Over the past few months, their food has gotten progressively worse. Everything has gone downhill -- blander salsa, unseasoned fajitas, poor presentation. It feels like they took a great Mexican chain with solid drinks and consistent, spicy food and then dialed it down so that people who hate Mexican food would feel more comfortable eating there. This is disappointing. I really wish that they could turn back the clock to when they were good. In the meantime, there are many other Mexican options that actually have good food.

Love this restaurant! Great atmosphere and food. Our waitress, Genesis, was so attentive and sweet. Will definitely be back!

This was the best seafood bargain in history at lunch. Top end $$$ seafood at $ prices with great service until the management changed, it went downhill, and disappeared. I miss this restaurant greatly

Any of the Mi Cocina locations will not disappoint.

The good - tortilla chips are great, the hot sauce is pretty good but just had to ask multiple times for refills of the sauce. Service was a bit slow but not unacceptable. The bad - two orders ofTacos Mi Tierra. They were so full of grease that we asked for new fresh hot tortillas. We sopped some grease off the taco meat and transferred the meat onto the new tacos. They were much better with 70% less grease. The OK - I had Tacos "De Camaron with an sliced avocado salad. Also had a side of guacamole. It was good. My only problem was I forgot to order salsa verde for these tacos We had sent the waitstaff back so many times I felt bad for them. The good #2 - our kids ordered off the children’s menu and had no complaints. The last good - waitstaff was great. Attentive, apologetic, wanting to make it ‘right’. Maybe it wasn’t their best night. Would try agains

We love to sneak in and have a drink and dinner! Love the salsa, chips are good, and sauces are great. service is good, and not expensive.

Went there with three other golf buddies. Were seated ASAP. Service was very fast and bar order taken with no problems. Herradura tequila margarita just cannot be beat. Appetizers of chips caso, guac. were taste. Lucychanga is excellent as were the burritos and pork special. A must go to.

This long established Tex-mex restaurant offers ample parking in a great location. Even on busy nights the staff is efficient in serving and seating in a reasonable time frame. The menu options are varied with something for everybody. The margaritas were excellent. However, on this visit the restaurant seemed carelessly managed. Food on the floor, tables not cleaned, and dirty dishes stacked in sight. Our food was served cold and our waiter was inattentive. We never saw him after our food was served. We received the bill and paid it with dishes stacked on our table (half eaten). Very disappointing.

We worked with Iban at Mi Covina. We could not have been in better hands. We took two groups of 35 and things could not have gone better. Good, hot food; prompt service and professionalism. The fajitas and guacamole are must haves. Good work and would go again

I love their Sopa de Tortilla! I love eating at any Mi Cocina when I am in DFW area. My friend had two chicken enchiladas, rice and Beans. I had the tortilla soup. Excellent!

We always try to make time to eat at Mi Cocina on Preston Road when we're in Dallas. The food is fresh, fast, and fantastic. The chips are warm, thin, crisp, and the salsa is very good. Once in awhile we've had to wait for a seat, but usually can be seated right away. I would suggest reservations if you're in a large party or plan on dining on the weekend during the rush (6:00 - 7:30 PM). They have a good selection of south of the border beers, along with a full bar. Their Mambo Taxi is awesome but deadly. Mi Cocina is a great choice for Mexican dining in north Dallas.

4 of us went to Mi Cocina. Excellent service and very good food. Good chips and salsa to start. Entrees were chicken quesadillas, the tortilla soup, and the fajitas. Sides were the sunset sauce and a bowl of queso with tortillas. The quac was a nice touch with the entrees. All the food was hot and very good. Drinks. There is a full bar with good wine. The Mambo is a favorite as was the Virgin Bloody Mary. Easy parking and nice people. Will return.

I usually get the Tortilla Soup with no cilantro (blegh), and a side of regular rice to add to it. Delish! I also recommend the Queso Blanco. Today for lunch I had the special #5 which was an enchilada and taco. I have never had it before, and I am gonna have to say that it was VERY good. I have never had any complaints about this place at all. Service is always great, and most days, seating is immediate. We only had to wait for a seat one time, and it was a busy Friday night. I noticed a lot of people that knew each other as they would come in. Never knew this community was so tight knit.

while in Dallas another try of Texmex and that was Mi Cocina - excellent food, good service and affordable price. we were a group of 3 people and all of us were so happy with everything in this restaurant - highly recommended

Very friendly Staff. Nice patio, but it's dark - I used my iPhone to read the menu. Has a Corona, no Beer on tap. The chips & the salsa was plentyful & great!! Setteld for a beef & chicken fajita that was more Than OK.

We went here with friends we were visiting. Mexican food is not a food I've tried until now. The service was great. The food was also very good & fresh but not my favourite food but did enjoy trying it & what better place to try it for the first time.

Our business group of 5 enjoyed a weekday lunch in this busy restaurant....come early! We all had various selections from the lunch menu and everyone liked their choices. The hostess and waitstaff were prompt and friendly. The food was good and the price reasonable. I'd definitely come back.

After a long absence we decided to try Mi Cocina again, after all it is very popular. That said, I don't know why. Our food was mediocre. I had the grilled tilapia and it was over cooked and dry. Mistaken order because I had ordered fish tacos. My husband's enchiladas were okay. Chips and salsa came late after having to ask and it looked like we were served the bottom of a bag since they were mostly broken pieces not suitable for dipping. There are much better Tex mex restaurants nearby with better atmosphere. This will be our last visit to this one.

Brisket nachos are not on the menu. (They should be). You can order them. They are the best nachos I have ever eaten. We order them every time we eat there.

Great food and an amazing atmosphere! My waiter Zaid was so friendly and definitely made for a good meal and I will definitely be coming back. Such a great place to go for dinner!

Members of our party ordered a double vodka soda...WELL was $20.50...f2f Pos and service isn't good eh Bough to cover that. Sadly we will not ever be back...after spending on average as a collective of over $1000 a week. Maybe they should reconsider Their pricing for a WELL vodka double. I'm sure the surrounding restaurants, airports and hotels will be happy to have our business as they are at half the price! Good luck M8 Covina...the food isn't so good to cover your inflate and unacceptable prices.

Four of us went to Mico on a weekday night. Decent chips, salsa and queso (sunset sauce). There is a good variety of drinks, including house wine by the glass and a mambo taxi. For entrees, the table had Ernie’s chicken, the RICO salad, and the chicken fajita nachos as an entree. All in all, a good meal with excellent service.

This is a very nice upscale local Mexican restaurant chain. Swanky bar with big TV's, nice sleek decor with Mexican touches. AMAZING beef brisket tacos. I totally recommend them. I've had similar brisket nachos at Ditkas in Chicago and these are even better.

I enjoyed eating at Mi Cocina's. I ordered the nachos appetizer as a meal and there was so much I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Wonderfully Delicious! The BBQ enchiladas meal was a variety of tastes on one plate. :)

While not super unique or inventive, this Tex Mex spot serves very fresh veggies and tortillas. I didn't have any meat but my husband said his shrimp tacos were good and my friend's chicken fajitas the same. They made custom dishes as well that weren't on the dinner menu (chili rellenos and huevos rancheros). Staff was friendly and the garden area was nice. The night clubby interior was less appealing.

Went here last night to visit a friend at his suggestion. While I had a pleasant experience the food was just ok, nothing special. The price for the quality of food just does not warrant a higher rating. I have eaten at many tex mex restaurants and when you get $10 to $14 for an entree it should be tasty. This food was plain and bland. Their margaritas are also very expensive. $10 for a 6oz serving for a house margarita. I will not be back, there are better places in Dallas, try Uncle Julios instead.

I wanted to start off New Years Day with some yummy Mexican food. I would have liked Tuppy's, but as a family business, it appeared closed. So we settled on Mi Cocina's, my second favorite. Yummy as always and delicious. Service was fantastic. Food was great!! Loved it and a great start to a New Year in 2014!!

I always love going to Mi Cocina for the drinks and the atmosphere, but I'm not a huge fan of the food. The chips are bland and the food is not anything to get excited for, but again, I go for the drinks and the great wait staff.

We often go to this restaurant when we visit Dallas. The food and drinks are good, and the staff is pleasant. Tonight our order was slow to arrive for a few in our party and there were some errors, but we were satisfied in the end. Do try the Margarita flight if you’re adventurous because it’s lots of fun. Although I usually like me fajitas, I found the chicken to be dry tonight.

We have many times eaten at Mi Cocina in Highland Park .... the atmosphere is very good & the food "fair". The "sister restaurant" on Preston is just plain not even worth the ride to get there. From the moment " you open the front door" the impact is negative i.e. like dirty & no atmosphere. A good margarita is assumed at any Tex Mex restaurant But Not Here. It was raw & way too salty. Basic standard foot items such as tacos & baroque beef enchiladas were ok . In fairness, the chips & salsa was good. So, if you have to go Mi Cocino head to Highland Park...... better yet....look for another Tex Mex restaurant.

Stopped in with friends for dinner on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. Chips and salsa were very good. We all shared a large queso and gucamole both were tasty. The fajitas were wonderful as was the Tacos Carbon. I would visit them again if we are in town.

Went with friends while visiting from RI and they had said it was one of their favorite restaurants that they visit weekly. IT WAS AMAZING!! What can I say, order everything and share, loved every single thing I tried. Great cocktails too! Can't wait to go back. Great chips, salsa, queso, chicken and quesadillas!

Been eating here since it opened in 1991. Great texmex but you can pick healthy from their modern menu. And the service is always great!

THE most consistent tex-mex in all of Dallas. From the basics to fun adventurous items, you will NOT go wrong. And the margaritas are wickedly good too!

Delicious Tex Mex food with excellent service provided by the staff. Brisket tacos were flavorful and so were the enchiladas. Skinny margarita was a delicious treat!

We've been to this restaurant several times in the last few years and it has always been very good. It's always busy, which is a very good sign, and we love the seafood enchiladas. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews but it's worth it, in a good neighborhood, a must!

My co-worker picked up our carry out orders for us. Approx. about 5 people ordered. When my co-worker got there she was told by a woman "I don't appreciate all these separate orders." What!?! Who says that at a restaurant that's in business to have business? Would she have rather all of us gone up there and all 5 of us stand in line waiting for our order at the same exact time vs. one of us? I ordered the lunch #12, quesadilla and the avocado ensalada. The quesadillas are very small and the avocado ensalado came with no dressing at all. We order from a restaurant every Friday and occasionally pick this location but after this visit I'm not so sure if this restaurant will be at the top of our list to frequent anymore.

The food is very good but way overpriced. It has been noticed some servers keep the coins for your change due. What right do they have to decide what change is due the customer. These servers can consider the few coins to be their tip. Otherwise, they may been given 15-20%.

Chips are good quality from mostly white corn. Salsa was OK, not the best I've had. Margaritas were pretty good, large glass and cold. But the food is excellent, I had Mi Tierra tacos and they were spicy enough that my tongue was numb when I finished. Incredibly spicy - if you don't like tears and sweat get the peppers on the side, about half the contents of the tacos were finely chopped jalapeños mixed in with fajita meat. Slightly fried thin tortilla shells, just hard enough to hold and soft enough not to break. Usual sides.

Helpful staff, great choices. Cook at home or take away.

Food was good and consistent. Diverse menu. Service was a little slow as I think the server was relatively new.

Family of 4 dining without reservation and were able to be accommodated upon entering. The place was pretty full too. We had the queso blanco which was not very good. It was not cheesy at all and more watery. The margarita was really good. Poblano chicken enchiladas, tacos and chicken quesadillas were all cooked nicely as requested. Service was quick and friendly.

Very good food for a good price. More formal than On the Border but in the same price range. Good place for a date or business meal. Excellent staff took very good of all the customers.

The food here is pretty good and the menu has a lot of options. This location is pretty cool because of the shopping center where it's located. I've been to another Mi Cocina and the food here matched my prior visit. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas.

My family and I have been going to Mi Cocina for many years, including their relatively new location in Flower Mound near our home. We enjoy the consistency in the freshness of their food and service, no matter which location we stop in at. There are many Tex-Mex institutions in Dallas and this chain is certainly one of them. Their restaraunts have a clean, modern look and feel, very comfortable for families. The hostesses and servers are always very attentive and provide a very pleasant dining experience. I have always felt that Mi Concina provides very good value with its high-quality Tex-Mex. My son and I typically split order of Fajita Nachos made to our order (hold the guacamole and bring on the jalapeno's with lettuce and tomato, which I make into a very tasty dinner salad). We have not run into anything on their menu that wasn't excellent - enjoy!

Like the food & service much better than the crowd . . . this is Mexican food for the 1%. Since you'll be waiting in a jam-packed lobby for a table, you're going to hear lots of loud commentary from the surgically enhanced high-maintenance blondes and their monogrammed children (apparently forgetting one's name is a common problem?). Perhaps I just needed another margarita to be able to tune out the scene and enjoy the food.

6 of us visited last night. The food was ok,but not outstanding. Good machos and fajitas. The service was sporadic. Not bad, just not to the usual standard.

Four of us had at Mico. Decent service, though a little slow. Two of us of spilt the fajita chicken. The other two had a large queso with beef and the quac. All the food was good, but not great.

I love this place. They have enlarged the patio and yesterday was a perfect day to sit on the patio and have a meal. My goal is to go to every Mi Cocina there is!

This is a great place for very good Mexican food. We ate here with a lot of family members. The waiter was wonderful, the food came to us quickly and the wait staff was very attentive. The portion sizes were generous and everything tasted fresh and good. The menu is very extensive and there are lots of traditional plates as well as other fun things to try - like Ernie's chicken, for instance or shrimp brochette. We would make this a regular place to eat if we lived nearby. Enjoy!

I couldn’t believe how quickly our food arrived. I thought this might compromise the quality - but no! My 12 year old loved the sour cream chicken!!

Stop in for lunch. Had the #1, which is 2 enchiladas with yellow rice and refried beans. $8.95 without salad, plenty of great tasting food. They serve free high quality chips & salsa before your meal. Didn't have any alcohol, but noticed they had an extensive menu of same. I was waited on by Reyna. Very prompt, attentive, cheerful. I will ask for her next time. I enjoyed lunch immensly, will come back often.
Terrible food, service and ATTITUDE!!!!
I have been going here for years. I USED to eat here every Friday night. NEVER again. I have never experienced a ruder staff or worse food. Our waiter had so much attitude and was not interested. We had a group of 13, which I know can be tough but the simples things were not done; silverware, water clearing the plates after the appetizers were finished or getting rid of the empty glasses. I went and found the manager and its no wonder his staff acts the way it does. It starts with his attitude. It's AWFUL!!!!! All of our food was cold. The drinks are LOUSY. The bartender was putting sugar in the SKINNY margarita's along with simple syrup. The entire experience was not what Mi Cocina used to be. We had to flag the waiter to get anything. I am still waiting on the water I asked for. It starts with the terrible attitude of the manager and his is pretty bad. When I suggested that the waiter was a little overwhelmed the manager only made matters worse by being nasty to everyone at the table. What a way to ruin a night!!!!
