Decent place at the mall, had great drink specials and menu, service was a little slow other then that ok.

I went to Mi Cocina for dinner on a Friday evening to round out a business trip. I was immediately seated when I walked in the door and had fresh chips and salsa on the table within 30 seconds. I was greeted by Bob within a few minutes and received an excellent recommendation for the rib-eye fajitas. Bob retuned promptly with a steaming fajita which definitely was worthy of the recommendation. Great experience - would recommend.

Great drinks and it is fun to watch the skaters. Food was ok best is the cheese dip and salsa but I will warn you when they are close to closing you do not get the best food. The tacos are decent when hot.

The food was really good. When our waitress walked off, my daughter said, "she is so upbeat! I like that!" Have eaten here before, and would do so again.

Absolutely love this place. Bob, our server was fantastic, he always is when I go here. Food is always delivered super fast. Sunset Enchiladas are incredible, especially if you like spicy queso!

Quite elegant interior with a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Large and appealing menu, in fact I had trouble deciding. I ordered the Tacos Mi Tierra and was very happy with that. Good chips and salsa (at way too much of those) and very attentive service. Expect to spend $20-$30 per person all in with a drink tax and tips, which is reasonable for the quality.

Had a great experience! Our server Bob was very nice and helpful and got our food out quickly! He even told us about the traffic that is going to come for Addison’s Kaboom town!

NEW Sigh! I really want to like Mi Cocina because some family members and friends love it. But as one who worked as a GM for 20 years and who dines out at least 7 times a week, I have to sigh with dissatisfaction with the mediocre food at a high price compared to competitors,’ and give it just an ok for a score. Today’s visit was DALLAS GALLERIA location. NO SMILES FROM THE HOSTESS OR BARTENDER OR ANY OF THE STAFF. Grim feeling the whole time. I did see the GM smile and chat with an obvious regular customer at the bar, but that was it. Food was just ok. Chips tasted stale and unsalted. Salsa was great as always. Enchiladas and taco arrived not the least bit warm. I watched the wait and bar staff to see if they were friendly or smiled at ANYONE- never happened. I sat with an empty iced tea glass for half of my meal. Probably won’t return. Disappointed to put it mildly.

Ruelas recommended a chicken dish from the menu which was fantastic. He also recommended Mexican beer which was also really nice. Great food great people very friendly

My child had a kids quesadilla and began choking and gagging on a long black hair. Soon got a hold of the manager (José) and he said no one in the kitchen had long black hair and told us because we had disposed of the hair he assumed we were lying and trying to get a comp’d meal. If we wanted a cheaper bill we would not have chosen the 10$ kids meal. He kept saying it wasn’t possible that there was hair because “everyone wears hair caps and no one had long hair.” Grossed out we asked for our bill to leave and Jose soon came back to inform us someone else a few moments later had also found hair in their food. He said he had overlooked a cook who’s hair was slightly out of the hair net. Jose continuously harassed us trying to apologize for 10 minutes as we asked for our bill over and over again. José is very unprofessional and rude. If you go here and find something contaminating in your food expect to be told your lying. We will never go here again and I hope that he learns better customer service. I do not recommend at all.

You can’t go wrong with Mi Cocina! My wife and I were joined for lunch with our daughter and granddaughters (2 yr and 1 yr old). Our waiters were fantastic and very attentive to the babies and our needs knowing that babies can cause a bit of issues at a table. No worries. Without feeling rushed at all, they brought the babies food to keep them busy. The seats next to the ice rink helped with the entertainment. The food was excellent as usual: Rico salad and Deluxe 57. The food is fresh and done to perfection. Of course margaritas added to the wonderful lunch experience. Thanks for a great time and outstanding food and service!

The food here is good, and you can sit ice level and watch people ice skate right across from you. The service is great and the guacamole is good too. We always eat here when at the Galleria.

We recently attended with a large group. The service was great and the food even better. They chicken mole is a must try. The appetizers were all great. Easy location... inside the Galleria Mall and next to the ice rink.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. There was no wait. The food was delicious! Our waiter was very nice. The manager was visible throughout the restaurant and was very supportive of her team.

Very good dinner. Upscale mexican dishes. The service was good as were the margaritas. The only negative was that we were there at closing time for the mall and ice rink and a very noisy machine came out to clean the ice.

Mi Cocina is a great Mexican restaurant located in the bottom level of the galleria. My wife and daughter took a break from their shopping to go have lunch! They got in with no wait!They absolutely enjoyed the tortilla soup and the red Chile chicken pozole, which was recommended to my wife as the best soup! Great staff, very friend and VERY quick service! A bonus is that you can watch all the ice-skaters from the restaurant! Would defiantly recommend to any shopper in the Galleria Mall because you can enjoy great food so close to all the stores!

Held an annual retreat for our US team in Dallas recently, and dinner on the first night was held at the Mi Cocina in the Galleria. The restaurant is located on the lowest floor of the Galleria right by the ice skating rink. Luckily we had a reservation for our large group of 15, but primarily the seating is at the bar or small booths and tables that seat 4-6. No big surprises on their food menu, but everything was excellent! For my entree, I ordered the poblano chicken enchiladas and couldn't have been happier (in fact, I could use an order of them now!) Their drink menu is where the real standouts are located. Nearly our entire group ordered some version of a margarita, and all were happy. My pick was the Mambo Taxi on the rocks - it is the cross of an original margarita and a sangria! Drinks are good, food is great, and the service is outstanding! I would definitely go back to Mi Cocina any time for another visit!

Within the Dallas Galleria Mall, you won't find a better option. The food is always tops, great margaritas, incredible salsa and fresh chips. Located on the lower floor, facing the ice rink. Always a favorite when I'm shopping at the Galleria

Food and service were both excellent! Bob was super attentive and made great suggestions that were delicious! The atmosphere was light and fun! Definitely coming back here for a dinner date and walk around the mall some evening.

While on a leisurely visit to the Galleria, we chose Mi Cocina for lunch. We were given a booth beside the glass partition facing the ice skating rink. That was fun for conversation and people-watching. The food was the biggest plus for us, however. Excellent food, and service. This is definitely NOT regular "Mexican food." All-around good food. A definite thumbs-up!

Came here for lunch for the chimichanga had no flavor whatsoever I will not be coming back here on top of that. I only ate maybe two bites and they still charge me after I complained about the taste, took my plate and threw it away. The only thing that was good was the guacamole.

This restaurant is located next to the ice skating rink at the Galleria. The salsa served with tortilla chips was very good, just enough spice. The menu is pretty typical Mexican fare. A lot of patrons seemed to be ordering the soup which looked very good. Our service was warm, friendly and very attentive. My only complaint was the noise level in the restaurant. I could barely hear what my server was saying.

Less than average food and service. Everything is overly salted, maybe they think it will make for the lack of flavor. If your 21 and still love a late night Taco Bell run, this is the place for you!

This is the second time I was in Mi Cocina Galería location,Susy make me feel special,she did a great job and suggest me Tacos mi Tierra and she was right, Delicious! And tres leches chocolate cake,omg,awesome ! I defetnily come back, see you soon!

Had a a quick meal, I went for the BBQ brisket enchiladas. The meat was very dry and not quite tasteless, the BBQ sauce was ok but could have dosed a bit more liberal.

Do you know how hard it is to find a place with good salsa? Very. It's very hard cause Gringo's and Ruthie's be sitting at the top but finally, another place with salsa that doesn't suck. Third time I've been here while in business trip and staying at the Westin. Food is consistent but not overly creative. The margaritas with sangria are a hit. Definitely a solid choice if in the area. Easy to get seating and nice view of the skating rink. Again, if I'm at the Westin I will come here to eat.

Bob our server was very nice and friendly. He explain us the menu. The enchiladas were a kind of cold specially the tortilla, over all food was good Gracias Bob!

As a visitor to Dallas I couldn't have run into a better Mexican restaurant. Great open atmosphere right by the ice rink with delicious food (Taco salad with lemon sauce dressing is a killer) and top notch service. If you get lucky and sit in Bob's section, you'll be pampered; ask for him by name!!!

Came to the galleria for shopping and lunch. Bob was absolutely wonderful through our entire lunch. He checked on us several times and made sure our experience was delicious.

Convenient place in the galleria to have a coffee. Very quick and efficient. They have lunch too. It is in the middle of the store.

Stopped in for a solo dinner. Nice seating area with an open and airy feeling. Restaurant staff were very attentive and did a few little extra things which were great. My meal (BBQ pulled pork enchilada) was undercooked and a bit bland. There are multiple sauces I could have ordered as sides. I did like the way they prepared their rice and beans. Overall cost was less than expected. I would go again.

This was probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. My girlfriend and I walked into the restaurant on Wednesday night, November 7th, and was seated at a wobbly table. After not being greeted for quite some time. We asked the nearest person if we could move tables. It was date night and I just wanted everything to be special. The server we asked was quite cheeky and joked with us about how we just wanted to move tables to be in his section because he was "so attractive." We laughed it off awkwardly because it was visibly obvious we were two gay women in a relationship together. He introduced himself as Jose. He seemed extremely outgoing so we thought we were going to get good service but instead his arrogant antics and belittling made us uncomfortable right away. Everything in this review happened before we even got drinks. At one point my girlfriend had to take an important call and he leaned down towards me and asked how long I've really been dating girls for. I thought this was highly inappropriate but it did not stop there. While she was on the phone he berated me about my sex life and even proceeded to call me insecure because I was not entertaining his flirting. He then proceeded to say that gay women have been hurt in their life which causes their "homo behavior" he kept insisting that I was not actually gay but just misguided and needing a real man like himself...I kept trying to interrupt but he had a mouth on him. His coworkers (females) stood at the bar and laughed at the entire situation. I'm not sure if he thought he was gonna get anywhere by speaking to me this way. His coworkers seemed to wonder the same thing as they stood by the bar and watched. Eventually after my girlfriend got off the phone, he proceeded to get our drink orders. And I grabbed the nearest employee and demanded to speak to a manager. The manager (possibly named crystal) came out and spoke to us but unfortunately did not seem to take the situation seriously. She said she could provide us with the server whose section we actually belonged to and then joked about how Jose was the restaurants "little shark." Any manager who can be okay with their employees stealing money/tables from their coworkers does not have the correct morals to stand in a position of power. Our next server (did not catch a name but was a middle age Caucasian male) was very apologetic about the situation and finally got our drinks out to us (mine had a gnat in it). While I was waiting for him to come by the table again so I could get a new drink, another gnat flew into my salsa. At this point we just decided to leave. We gave the new server a tip for the inconvenience and because the situation was clearly out of his hands. Jose the server is absolutely disgusting and made me feel extremely uncomfortable on my DATE NIGHT. I relayed the entire situation to the manager who only found humor in it. I will contact corporate or whoever I need to to get this issue properly heard considering the manager found this to be one big joke. My girlfriend, along with myself, find NO humor in sexual harassment. Wish we could have gotten a chance to eat, but after Jose, and the gnats, our appetite was completely gone. I expect more from Mi Cocina UPDATE: was contacted on yelp by a customer service representative who said she would give my information to the restaurant director....that never happened. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this restaurant at all costs. I'll be sure to post my review to TripAdvisor and google as well.

While at a conference in the Westin, my friends and I needed a place for dinner. Since we had no car, we took the recommendation to come here for "authentic Tex Mex." The location is lovely and convenient. The food seemed average to me. I've had better Mexican at local restaurants in Minnesota, so I wasn't "wowed." But it was good food with decent prices and great location, so it worked okay.

Great food, even better service from Bob. He was very accommodating to our needs as one of us is vegan and the other was Mexican looking for good tequila and Mexican beer! Would definitely visit next time we are in Dallas

During our conference stay we came for dinner here after our shuttle driver recommended this restaurant. The customer service was great. Fre chips and salsa are served. I order the cheese enchiladas and they tasted great. There is also alcoholic drinks available at this restaurant. Overall a good restaurant.

The staff here is great and very friendly but the food leaves a bit to be desired. My wife and I ordered 2 different chicken enchiladas meals and when they arrived you would swear we had the same thing. Average visit and world tell you make your own assessment but won't be back for awhile

The food was better than one usually expects in a mall environment. Good Margarita if upgraded to the $12 level and the Crispy Enchiladas verde were tasty but not unique.

The food is really good here. Kids menu is affordable and good. My steak was excellent. Great service by Bob.

We met with two other couples to have dinner and catch up. The food and service was outstanding and great for the price, but the restaurant was very noisy and we had to leave and order dessert elsewhere in order to be able to hear each other talk. So, it isn't a place to go to have a leisurely dinner and relax with friends, but the food and service and the value of the meals are excellent.

Dani is such a sweet host and kevin is very attentive and always makes sure my drinks are full. Such an awesome guy. And handsome too.

We love to get chips and queso when we are staying at the Westin. Flautas are also very good. Easy to get to in the lower floor of the mall next to the ice rink.

located rink side at the dallas galleria it can be both noisy and cold. however the staff is friendly, the food is tasty and has a different take on mexican. as the name says my kitchen i always think someone's mother is busy in the back.

This is honestly the worst excuse for Mexican /TexMex we have ever had. The taco meat in everyone’s tacos was without seasoning. What the ranchero sauce was simply ‘red.’ No flavor. Just color. Salsa is bland. Chicken was also not seasoned. Everyone at the table just agreed that the salt shaker ran for the hills evidently. We are from west Texas. Lots of Mexican… This place would close there.

It's one of the nicer sit-down restaurants in the mall. The queso blanco is delicious. The salsa has a little kick. Portobella mushroom fajitas are INCREDIBLE!!!

Mi Cocina is one of my fave places to eat. My husband and I had our first date here and we bring our kids here when we come to Dallas. Our waiter, Bob, was fantastic and put up with our kids! Thank you!!

It was my first time to visit this restaurant. Promptly seated, drinks arrived quickly and order was taken. We ordered an appetizer and it never came. When we asked about it, the waitress looked surprised. Finally arrived at the same time as our entrees. The food was delicious. When the bill arrived, it was incorrect; waitress charged us for children's drinks when the menu stated drinks came with the meal.

Not only liked the meal, but the ambience was cool and there are large tables for larger parties. The server was really attentive and the meal was not a disappointment; good stuff.

First of all let me say that I have always loved Mi Cocina! This particular location is inside of the Galleria Mall on the 1st floor. I had a long day of shopping for a few hours with my friends and like always we worked up a nice appetite. What better place than Mi Cocina do you go when you want some great Tex-Mex type of food. I love that they offer happy hour Monday-Thursdays so for anybody that comes during the week can take advantage of it. When we first arrived we were greeted and seated right away! Score! No reservations needed or anything. Our server was super sweet and also patient. We took forever to order because we all were just catching up and barley even glanced at the menu. To kick things off right of course we started with some of the signature cocktails that they offer. My drink of choice was the cucumber margarita and boy was it tasty! YUM! I love when the bartender has no shame in making a drink that has some PUNCH! I think everybody at my table said that the drinks were amazing! I always go for the shaken since the ice takes up so much room in the cup when they don't pour it in the martini glass. The complimentary chips and salsa is always appreciated to pair with your drinks. I was feeling like a salad so I asked our server about some of the popular options. The chef has a special menu that day to choose from and the salad that caught my eye was called the "ensalada de flacca" or something of that nature. I added a salmon fillet on top with light dressing and I couldn't have been more happy with it. Delicious would be an understatement! My friends also enjoyed their orders and we all left full and a bit tipsy! What else can you ask for?

Came across the Mi Cocina when spending a couple of nights in a nearby hotel. We dined or snacked there on more than one occasion. Being beside the ice skating rink it was obviously patronised by lots of family groups. The food is mexican and it has a large range on the menu. The beers are well priced no booking is required to go there. While maybe not the place for a large group dinner, we would certainly rate it 5 out of 5 for what it produces.

On a business trip to Dallas with a few hours to kill before heading home, We decided to explore the mall and ended up at Mi Cocina for lunch. It was fantastic. The guacamole was the best I have ever had anywhere. Being the tamale connoisseur that I claim to be, I decided on the tamales that were on lunch special. They was so amazing and fresh and the beautifully plated. Delish all the way around. Will definitely visit again when in Dallas.

Excellent and friendly service! The staff starting with the hostess to the waitstaff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a wait (less than 10 mins) and the hostess kept us informed throughout the wait. Once seated our waitress, Sophia was cute and so sweet. The food quality is given to be delicious and the Mambo taxis a must but the added benefit of a personable and engaging wait staff was an added bonus. Thank you Mi Cocina for a great dining experience!

In a word...AWESOME! I had Mama’s Chicken con Hongas. Was fantastic! Hubby has food allergies and one of the managers, Cristen, hooked him up with a gluten, dairy, egg, and soy free feast! Was great to see him eat and enjoy so much! Cristen even followed thru to make sure everything came out as it should. Our server Jenny was prompt and delightful. Never had to ask for refills and was always there if we wanted more. HIGHLY recommend!!!

There was a group killing time at the mall, we stopped in for margaritas and seafood ceviche. Both were very good, especially the mango margaritas. Fast, friendly and attentive staff.

We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Galleria on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty busy so they are doing a good business. We were seated promptly and placed our order shortly thereafter. The salsa was as spicy as ever, and the chips from a bag do not bother me at all as another reviewer complained. The menu has not changed much over the years and I went for the nachos which were a favorite of mine back in the day when Mia Cocina was my favorite Tex-Mex in Dallas. That, admittedly, was a long time ago. They were good, but not presented as attractively as I remember, and they were pretty salty. Maybe it was too much cheese, or maybe the meat was over seasoned. I am not sure, but they were salty. The salty theme continued to the chicken soup that the wife ordered. She could not finish it because it was so salty. The servers were working hard at all of the tables. Our server was efficient but not very friendly. He was not unfriendly, just not friendly. Maybe he was stressed. Anyway, it was not a bad experience, but not the top notch food and service that I remember from back in the day. The location is cool if you can get a seat to watch the ice skaters. Otherwise, it's just another restaurant in a mall.

Mi Cocina had some of the best salsa I have had from a Mexican Restaurant. The chips were served hot and were amazing!!! Top it off with great service and drinks and it made for a great stop!

Location: Rink Level, Near Macy's. The Galleria is a massive mall and therefore a great tourist destination. During the holidays there is a larger-than-life Christmas tree that is worth visiting to wow your folks. Seating: Although Mi Cocina doesn't take reservations, you can easily get your large group in there to eat. Would recommend showing up a bit early and wait around for 10-15 mins for your seat to open up. Salsa: Spicy. 7 on scale of 10. Red. Blended. Room temp. Chips: Fried, Large, brownish. Taste reminds me of an unsalted frito-Lay corn chip flavor. Food: Wide variety that will satisfy a wide range of preferences, including meat-free, gluten free, keto, and more. Noise Level: loud, and fun! Overall, our large group of 7 had an enjoyable and unforgettable time. Highly recommend!

We had some time to kill at the Dallas galleria, so we went to Mi Cocina ("My House") and had a very nice time. It's a little nice for little kids, and some Moms with toddlers were a bit out of place for the very nice atmosphere. The restaurant overlooks the ice rink, and that was fun watching the skaters. The chips, salsa, and guac were all tasty and refillable. The margaritas were excellent. As would be expected, it was a little pricey, but a nice afternoon with decent service.

Stopped in here with a friend while my teen and her friends were shopping. I've never had a Mambo Taxi so I was excited to try one. Pretty tasty and probably my favorite thing there other than the view from our table overlooking the ice rink and such. Had the large brisket queso blanco ($9.25ish) --- okay this bowl is SMALL and there was barely any brisket in it. It was decent but not worth almost 10 bucks. Also had the half order of guacamole ($7.50ish) --- this was just basically avocado smashed on a plate with a couple pieces of cilantro. There was zero flavor. No salt, no jalapenos, no onions etc. Very big disappointment. We didn't try any food other than that so I cannot comment on that but it looked like the prices were average at $11-20 a plate. Very busy so people must like it. We went on a Saturday evening. Just wasn't for us.

Ate here after a late flight. It is near the skating rink and is very loud! The server was friendly but not very attentive. The food was adequate but came so fast that I felt as if it was premade and thrown together.

Fajitas were great! Bob was an awesome server. He gave us to go cups to drink while we are shopping.

we ate before we let the kids play in the skating rink. no waiting that time so that's a good sign. we have a good waitress. she talked to my kid and that's nice for her to give a little attention to them. the only concern I have is the food, when I look at the menu they don't have many choices we order cheese dip for appetizer but to us it doesn't taste cheesy cheese it taste like they mix it with condensed soup my husband doesn't like that taste and the first time he taste it he already told me that the cheese dip that we order is not what it is. we went ahead and order our main course, the food was alright I ordered taco salad and they gave me mountain of lettuce and a little tortilla cup of taco meat. It was alright but I don't think it's worth it. my family won't come back here.

Ate here with the kids to replace bad food and service at the Neighboring Luciano Pizza Rest. This restaurant is where we go most of the time in Southlake when we want Tex-Mex.

I was more than pleasantly surprised at Mi Cocina in the Galleria. Great for mall food and pretty damn good overall. We loved the the frozen margaritas and the chips were warm and not at all greasy. Any place that has a decent mole is alright in my book and the mole here was pretty good for a tex-mex chain. Not my top 10 mole's across the US, but we still enjoyed it along with the rest of the meal. Will definitely eat here again the next time I am in the area.

This place is simply AMAZING! The food was very tasty and the service was outstanding. The staff are very friendly and nice. They are willing to do the extra mile, which really makes a difference, they work with their heart and soul. The restaurant wes already closed but the manager Raquel understood my situation and let me had my dinner inside. Everything was very tasty! I highly recommend it. If you are a guacamole fan, this restaurant has THE BEST guacamole! The chips are crispy and fresh, salsa has a blend of traditionally great flavors and then there’s the guacamole. For queso fans, don’t miss out on the queso blanco with beef! I’ve eaten at several locations and Mi Cocina serves consistently great food. Mi Cocina es su Cocina! 😉😊

If you are looking for a fine quiet peace, please go elsewhere. This is a carnival. The Cirque de Soleil But go ahead if you enjoy shouting at your friends and watching a parade. It's for the Millenials who can multitask outrageously. The menu is ordinary fare, not creative but no one at our table complained. Waiters great. Just not my style. Grandchildren loved their tacos. I am just too old for this.

We ate here whilst staying at the Westin. Got to say it is one of the best mexican meals we have ever eaten. The staff brought out bols of salsa(??) and corn chips as starters and the rest of the meal just got better and better. Highly recommend Nachos Locos and BBQ Brisket Enchiladas. Kids had a ball!

Tex-Mex food that leans toward the Mex side. I had the beef enchiladas, which were delicious, and later the cheese enchiladas, which I'm sure were good, but I did't care for the type of cheese they use. Overall a good restaurant. Highly recommend it!

We took my son's family to Mi Cocina at the Galleria for a lunch break during a long shopping day on the Saturday before Labor Day. The service was so great, we asked to see the manager so that we could tell him personally about how pleased we were. The food was exceptionally good, and the salsa was the best we have ever had. All seven of us commented on what an excellent restaurant this is. It is truly is a "pocket of excellence" offering a wonderful respite in a busy mall!

Mi Cocina is a chain restaurant, but they do it right. In general, I lift Mi Cocina up as a higher end Tex-Mex restaurant. It makes sense they are located in the upscale Galleria mall. To find this Mi Cocina, head to the center rink location and take the escalators down to the rink level. The restaurant is open to the mall, rink and Christmas Tree if in season. I love sitting in the restaurant and looking at the glass ceiling, ice rink and view. The decor of the restaurant is a mix of warm browns, yellows and off-whites. The layout curves around the ice rink. The curves are carried into the restaurant with the ceiling design and bar. It's really well done. Service was wonderful. The host greeted us in a pleasant and happy attitude. Our server was very nice and answered all our questions. Other employees walking around were polite and interacted if you passed by them. The food at Mi Cocina is wonderful. I really like their quesadillas. They are moist and full of flavor. Today I branched out and tried the Quinceanera Salad with Chicken. The avocado & red onions balanced nicely with the sweet from pineapples and mango. The chili-lime vinaigrette married it all together nicely.

I have been dining at the location for years. Our most recent visit was about 8PM on Friday night. The restaurant was relatively empty. We were promptly seated to wait. Then wait. Then wait. Eventually our waiter and then after another lengthy wait our food arrived. Everything was cold and guacamole was on top of the plate rather than on the side as requested. We asked for it to be corrected. We were brought back the same food, flipped upside down. It was poor food and poor service from what was a nice establishment.

Bad service!!! I was there last night with my family 12/16/18. Received the worse service ever. I felt like I was discriminated for being Hispanic. Waited 15 mins to get greeted, one of the managers took our drink order, and offered and appetizer, I ordered an order of fajita nachos as appetizer. Waited another 10 mins for our drinks to come in, and never received our appetizer. 15 mins later, a random server comes to our table and ask us if "are we ready". He never introduced him self or anything (still no appetizer). We were low on drinks, and chips, waited 41 mins for our food to come out. (never received our appetizer) Food was cold, no one checked on us to see how we're doing or how the food was. 20 mins after our meal, they just came to drop of our check and left. But the server was giving A1 service to the table next to us (Maybe because they were Caucasian) As we closed our tab and left, my wife left her phone on the table. She went back to the restaurant within 10 mins, asked the management about her phone that she left on the table, and told her that no one has returned a phone. They refused to help her find her phone, and out of no where, the phone appeared on the hostess stand. Never going there again, and I will make sure all my family and friends don't go to this place. THEY DISCRIMINATE THEIR OUR RACE!!!!!!!

Mi Cocina is typically an upper end Tex-Mex restaurant serving great food. I've been to several of them including this one back in 2016 where I wrote a glowing review. Something is not right with this specific location. It's located inside the Galleria Mall on the lowest level next to the ice rink. We sat at a prime booth location with full view of the ice rink. It's beautiful, but the seat cushions are worn out and cracked. That's diner style not high end. We ordered fajita chicken quesadillas. It came out in minutes and was stone cold. We were served a pre-made cold meal. Our service was slow and difficult to hear. I did not enjoy my visit here and would not come back.

We had a large party and they were very accomodating. We had a wait just a short time for a table. Our waiter was curtious and may I add funny. Drinks were brought out and orders taken within an acceptable time. We all had different things and all were pleased with our meal. Individual tickets wereprovided which was nice. I would definitely eat here again.
