I got the $32 short ribs and it was a tiny little bony piece with nothing. I’m 90 lbs and really thin and I was so hungry and that was so disappointing. Ridiculous. Will never go back. Do not waste your money. Go to El Tiempo instead.

The traditional bun and the vinaigrette the offer you at the begining... both were delicious, the simplest, the more delicious. I recommend you the Lamb Osobuco. Lamb meat was good but small portioned. In the compliment I noticed that the potatoes wher mixed with small seasoned pieces of eggplant... good. I recommend this place, for a couple dinner, and choose a good wine for pairing.

Very good wine at happy hour. We really enjoyed their filet for dinner. Good outdoor seating. Good service! Reasonable pricies. We have dined here 6 or 7 times, never disappointed.

We visit Mia Bella every other month for dinner, either with friends or just the family. We've noticed over the last 6 months the quality and consistency of the service and food is down. We do have better service during lunch, actually, than dinner. One of my former favorites was Pollo Alla Mia Bella. It was tender and flavorful and different. The last time it seemed like thrown together hash. The chicken parm is another dish that is just okay now - and really not worth the price being paid. The only consistent;y great entree, for what we like, has been the filet and asparagus. Serious kudos to the sea bass. Tried it this last time and it was fabulous.

The service was very good and the atmosphere nice, but at least for my taste not my kind / style of Italian food, but I have only dined here twice. They had a Jalapeno Fettuccine Shrimp dish that was unusual, but good, the Chicken Parmigiana however was just a little too different – stuffed w/ spinach, mushrooms, roasted red peppers – not bad but the flavours were not what I was expecting and the rest of our party felt a little the same about what they ordered. We all go out often for dinner for work, so not new at this or complaining, just warning you to be ready for a very different Italian experience

Nice atmosphere, Fabulous Bellini's, Fantastic Brunch (Salmone Benedetto & Polenta Gamberi). Service was very good. Recommend for moderately priced meal. Planning to try dinner. Great menu & wine selections.

Mia Bella was recommended to me for a business lunch. Good thing we had great companionship at our table and we were able to brush off the lack of service. the food was "eh". None of us finished it. The best part of the restaurant is the location in Vintage Park - very nice area.

I had goat cheese putanesca. If you don't mind a funny smell of goat cheese and like tomatoes this antipasti is for you. On the downside - lasagna. Can you believe they do not have regular lasagna with beef? I had to order seafood lasagna which was simply awful - mushy dough with ground fish which reminded me of cheap Asian-style fish cakes. Cream cake and Irish coffee were good. Overall - recommended but be careful what you choose.

Made reservations for a family member's birthday on a Saturday evening. Nice ambiance, wait staff was very attentive, food was pretty good - not overly outstanding, but good. Location is nice at Vintage Park, however parking was not that easy on a Saturday evening. All in all, Mia Bella ranks up there with some of the best in the area. We'll head back there again soon.

If you want a good Italian food this restaurant is a winner! Excellent margarita pizza, risotto, and the Mia Bella salad is delish! They have excellent bread with a to die for oil and vinegar dip. Hard to stop eating it!! Enjoy!

We went the Mia Bella Tratoria on a Wednesday evening, before the crowd, and just about had the restaurant to ourselves. They were having a special on appetizers and a half special on house wines. We had the Cabernet Sauvignon and the XXX, both of which were great. Each of us enjoyed our wine, but not other's wine, so that worked out well also. We both agreed the wines were perfect for us. We had two appetizers: the calamari which was the best I've had in Houston, and the crab cake, covered with a fig chutney. Our favorite was the calamari. For a main course don't miss the Mapled Pork Chop. I was hungry when I got into the restaurant, and still took about half of it home. It was amazing! Our waiter was Ashton and we got acquainted with the manager, who gave us each a glass of lemoncello...vodka, infused with grated lemons. It was out of this world. Just enough sweetness to make it sweet! Ask for Ashton who was personable and was "just right" on attentiveness. We plan on going back soon. You have to try it....it is a restaurant to be enjoyed. In my opinion it is the best in Vintage Park.

This is a very good restaurant in every way, but it's not special in any way. It's a regular stop for us, maybe twice a month, so you know it's pretty good. Still... The food is consistently good, with a few dishes that are excellent (the osso bucco, the meatballs). Service is fine drags between courses but mostly on task. You can walk in most any night, except maybe primetime weekends. The outdoor dining is comfortable and plentiful, but be careful - the live music most nights is only 20 yards away and you can't really talk over it. The bands are consistently good, nice music, but always loud. This is a good place to come on short notice or if you don't want to drive far. You won't be disappointed, the food will always be good, and the prices are very reasonable.

The place was full due to a huge party. We did have to wait 15 min for our table but once seated we were pleasantly impressed by the service and food. The staff was so friendly, even the ones that delivered our food. The food was great . temperature, flavor and presentation all were nice. I love the grapefruit with the salmon and asp. the only complaint is the dining room was loud.

average food average service not bad but not good either, one time visit with no plans on returning. Would make an alright overflow place if you couldn't get into your first choice.

Firstly, I want to express that this is one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The customer service was terrible, the service was extremely slow, and the menu was confusing. I ordered an omelette from the brunch menu, but the pricing and ingredient information were unclear and did not provide a straightforward cost. The ingredients and protein options were listed side by side, and the menu suggested adding up to four items. I chose mostly meat options, each priced at $7 or more. However, the menu only showed vague pricing like "7 for..." or "8 for...," which was confusing. A simple fix would be to include dollar signs and clearly label these items as premium. Additionally, the items I received were minimal and overcooked. I work at Lone Star College and will advise my colleagues in the Vintage Park area to seek out better dining options. This restaurant is poorly managed and feels like a ripoff!

We had plans to eat somewhere else, a little more casual. When those plans fell through we thought we would give Mia Bella a try, feeling slightly apprehensive since we didn't have reservations and dressed more casual than I would have liked for a trattoria. But they seated us gleefully without problem and were warm and helpful! The ambiance is very nice with Tuscan hues. Service was wonderful! Food was very good, better than most Italian in the area, with a wonderful wine selection. Would definitely make plans to visit again.

We celebrated our anniversary at Mia Bella and will be back. The staff was great. Victoria was very helpful. We tried sitting side by side in a booth but quickly realized that made the table too high. She moved us without fuss. The food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely try the Seafood Risotto. And the manager sent us a beautiful dessert to share at the end of the meal. The Vintage Park area is a great location for locals and visitors alike.

I was part of a group luncheon, which ended in a business meeting. We were given a private area, and did not leave until 4:00 p.m. There were no other people in the restaurant when we left, and were permitted to use the restroom facilities and left by the front and side doors. The service was very good, as well as the food.

im a keen Italian eater and have struggled to find a proper one in houston with fresh ingredients and proper presentation..this place made it happen , from the vibrant location to the service to the extended variety of menu . i had the lentil soup which was excellent , my dad had the crispy mozzarella salad and my mum had the deep fried artichoke salad all were amazing. for main courses i had the chicken stuffed with mushroom, cheese, peppers, spinach on a bed of spaghetti , my dad had the ravioli with mushroom ricotta and goats cheese , my mum had the spaghetti arabiata which was nice and spicy and al dente. this is a place worth going to , i would definitely go back and value for money is really good ...good job guys and thank you !

My sister planned this location for her post wedding celebration. The restaurant did not seem to miss a step. They assigned us a few wait staff and kept the guests happy and well served. Normally you have to go get water or something because the staff forgets, but not here. The drink menu was well stocked with great options and a few of us had some of the listed suggestions. The steak I received was beyond what I expected. Easily one of the best steaks I have ever had in a restaurant. The food came out clean, hot, and since we were having a great time.. the food seemed to be almost instantly brought after ordering. Not one person had to ask when the food was coming out. Just about everyone received the food at the same time, which is a great accomplishment since we had 30-35 people in attendance. I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great night out and a great meal too.

What used to be a sure bet in High Quality Food and Service, has surprisingly been lost in this iconic eating place in Vintage park!! After enjoying some fresh bread and a classic nice Lentil Soup,we ordered Chicken Marsala, which after almost 1 hour of wait, came out perfect as expected! But we also ordered Chicken Piccata and 2 orders of Eggplant Parmigiana! The Piccata was served cold, and both Eggplant dishes came with uncooked, hard pasta as sides!! Can you imagine an Italian restaurant kitchen who cannot make pasta al dente!! Its just incredible!! Manager adjusted the prices of the eggplant dishes after we complained, but we do not go out to have dinner,to have a price break, but to have Quality Food and Service, and enjoy a great time with family and friends!! Mia Bella at Vintage Park is not recommended for this. I believe in second chances and hope to return some other time, wishing to see the former great Mia Bella back.

As you enter the Vintage Park it gives you a different feeling that you have left Houston and come to a different place. May be the weekend we choose added more to it. The central area, if I may call it, has variety of restaurants and that sets the tone for the evening. May be a bit of San Antonio river walk minus the river ?? Live music in the open area, you may call it a Karaoke but the singers are live though, and the people dancing around are real.audience as well. Add a juggling act to make it feel as if you are away from daily grind. The atmosphere was well set for smooth cocktails with the setting sun..... a sundowner in the moods........sitting in the patio. Tasty food served with a smile and for a relaxed evening sundowner what more you need. Menu has a good selection of wine to give you the tinge you want for the dinner. You want the atmosphere, stay in the patio.

We have had lunch, brunch, dinner and a wine dinner at this location in the past month. Last night's dinner was charred octopus with cherry tomato relish and garbanzo beans. The second course was Brodetto, a peppered seafood stew. The third course was Scripple 'Mbusse; a herb filled crepe filled with roasted duck and pecorino cheese. The fourth course was Braised Pork Shank with mascarpone polenta and fig chutney and the dessert was Fried Cinnamon Gnocchi. Just excellent!

We come here frequently and love the variety on the menu and the good service. Today, my husband had a before dinner drink, we split a half salad (more than enough for two) split an entry, had a bottle of wine and he had an after dinner drink. My only bad surprise is they charged us an extra $4 to split our entre. This would be fine if they had told us verbally about it before or had something on the menu telling us this was planned. Because or total bill was over $80+ for lunch (before tip) and we can't eat that much food any more, I was disappointed. Jessica did a good job serving us and we left a nice tip. Assistant Manager came out to talk to us but didn't mention the extra charge - we only found out when we received the bill. We ate outside and we were about the only ones out there when we left because of the heat. (our car said it was 91 degrees and we parked in the shade, left the upper window open and put in a window shade). The men's toilet was out of service and my husband really had to go, so they were nice enough to let him go to the women's bathroom while someone stood guard. Outside chairs have been replaced and we miss the more comfortable chairs they had previously. The flowers on the table are a nice touch.. We will be back but want to know about extra charges in the future.

They are short on silverware and towels. They simply do not care. Good food being served but u have ask, twice, to get silverware. Do not go for Sunday brunch and spoil your day. I also go there for my office lunch. You need to go by 11 so u can be back by 1 pm. Strange it gets top ratings just because food is good. Has anyone seen the dust on the bottles stacked and the huge cloth that runs near the roof... Crazy. Keep eating bread and take your lunch home because u r full.

This is an excellent place to have a bruch. The food is great and the customer service is really good.

I'm a regular, I love this place. The inside decor is not very exciting and it's not often I sit inside, but I love the patio. Sitting there overlooking the fountains can't be beaten. Fri/Sat evenings are even better as there is a band playing. Makes it a perfect evening. The food is very good, tried so many of the dishes but I just love their pizzas. The perfect crust!! Drinks can be hit and miss. I love white wine sangria. Somethings it's good sometimes awful. I do wished they had one recipe for this and stick to it.

Family decided Italian for dinner and it was up to me to pick it and WOW, what an absolute gem! Family of 6 all got what they wanted and then some. Service and ambiance wonderful. Will be making this a fav!

Went here after a local movie. Wanted to have a drink, grab an appetizer and listen to the band in the courtyard. It was 9 pm so the place was not busy. Sat on the patio and waited a solid 5 minutes before a server showed. Only saw our server twice in 45 minutes. Once when he brought drinks and then the check. Received bread and appetizer from a food runner. Had to ask the runner where our server was. He did apologize for the waiter. No utensils or napkins without asking. Then, the calamari we received was TERRIBLE. Chewy and gritty with a weird Spanish flavored sauce. We will not be back nor will we recommend.

The last time we went here, we sat outside overlooking the fountain. The weather was nice so we had a nice time. One drawback, outside is also for the smoking section so be prepared with the cigarette smoke and smell. We tried the seafood pasta. It was okay but I really like the Mia Bella salad. It was so good, i think next time i 'm going there that's what I'll order for the meal.

Parking is around back and free as long as you can find a spot - I've never had any trouble. Once you enter the bar is to your left, the kitchen is further ahead to your left and the dining area is directly in front of you. The host to your right greets and seats you. This place conflicts me. Some dishes are so good and some are so bad. I really wouldn't recommend getting anything other than straight pasta here - especially anything seafood seems to be amiss. Truffled Risotto - the happy hour portion is small, for the money I think I would just order the full portion. You get so much more and it is /so/ good! So creamy, but not too creamy and just the right truffled flavor. I'm craving it right now as I write this. Steamed Mussels - Happy hour. ooh. No. Not fresh. They taste very chewy. Complimentary bread and olive oil - now this I can get behind. Keep bringing it over, please! The bread is fluffy and dense and I'm totally here for it. Especially the blend of Italian spices they've brushed it with. Yes, yes, yes. Bruschetta Il Giorno - another happy hour item and another no. The eggplant just tasted very bland. Calamari - happy hour. So chewy. Not fresh. Pass. Cosmopolitan - happy hour. Tastes like it's been made with gasoline - I'm guessing they used super wells vodka. Another pass. Sangria - happy hour. Now this I can get behind. Cheap and strong but not overpowering. Order some of these. The service is reasonably friendly for how busy it is and very quick and attentive.

A very extensive menu. Penne with salmon was excellent.Very attentive service. They were accommodating to the baby too.

This is our second visit to Mia Bella Trattoria at the Vintage. I was hoping the second time will be a good experience since the first one was very disappointing. The location is nice next to Peli Peli overlooking the water fountain. The service is not good. Our waiter never ask or check on us. We never get a refill of our water and our coffee. The manager came by to say Hello which is nice. We told him our concerns. The manager apologized. Food are average. The place are nice and clean but without good service I will not be back. I will give them a try again next year. I don't care if you have good food or not good service is a priority for me. The management really needs to look into hiring a better waiters and waitresses.

We had driven by this restaurants many times, but being in a strip mall, it didn't seem attractive. However, we decided to try our luck. Parking in the garage behind the restaurant is convenient, although the garage is dark. There was a uniformed guard, so we felt safe. You can walk to the restaurant directly from the garage under a covered breezeway. The interior is not particularly attractive; rather utilitarian. The modern tables and chairs are plain; there are no table clothes and the silverware (flatware comes wrapped in a napkin. There is a bar, which seemed full when we walked in. Our server was very good, careful, friendly and helpful, and he exceeded our expectations (based on our first impression). The menu is pretty varied and quite attractive. The lamb ravioli was exquisite (!) and so were the Smoked Duck Tortellini. The Calamari were well prepared, although we have had equally good or better in several places around Houston. The Mushroom Strudel was outstanding and so was the Lamb Ossobucco. The wine list is quite varied and there is a good list of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a much better experience than we expected and are likely to return soon for a second visit.

Came here on a Sunday at about 7:00 PM for dinner. There were only three other tables occupied so we thought we would get exceptional service and food since they weren’t busy. Our waitress was nice but not very helpful. I wanted to get a bottle of Italian red wine to accompany our dinner but wasn’t familiar with their Italian selection of wines so I asked our waitress to recommend a medium bodied Italian red in the vein of a Pinot Noir. She said that she didn’t know the wines but would ask the bartender. Shortly she arrived with two California Pinot Noirs. I again told her that I was interested in an Italian red so I just selected an Italian red blend which I thought would work. We went ahead and ordered our meals, Crab Cake starter, Chicken Piccata for my wife and a Lamb Shoulder Ravioli for me. The Focaccia bread arrived and it was delicious. We could see the staff looking for the bottle of wine I asked for with little success and the waitress returned with a different red blend saying that it was a popular choice. At this point I said fine and she uncorked it and it was good. She said that it was a reasonable price also at $55. Although more than what I was looking to spend it was fine. The Crab Cake arrived and it was outstanding, great amount of crab and a delicious sweet sauce. We were on our way to a lovely dinner and talking about bringing some friends next time. Then it went down hill fast. The waitress returned to say she was sorry but the wine was $75 not 55 and was that Ok, well we had already had a glass each so I said fine. Then the meals came, big let down. My wife is a chicken piccata fanatic but this chicken was dry and over cooked with the artichoke overpowering the lemon sauce served on a big pile of so-so risotto. Now with the description of lamb shoulder ravioli in a port wine reduction I was bracing for a richness blast but what I got was a nondescript meat ravioli in a cloyingly sweet sauce. I swear it was the same sauce as on the crab cake. Even after scraping the sauce off the ravioli I couldn’t discern that it was lamb. What started off as a lovely evening ended in big disappointments.

My family and I visit Mia Bella at Vintage park frequently because its not your usual "American" Italian food thats smothered in cheese. We are always met with a friendly welcome and attentitive service. Last time we were there our family from Scotland was over and it was there wedding anniversary. One of the managers (Connor i think he's called) was absolutely brilliant and made sure there was a cake brought out to celebrate the anniversary.

My first visit and I enjoyed a lovely brunch of smoked salmon, eggs and hollandaise. Service was perhaps not the best but it was very busy. The Peach Bellini's were fabby and I will certainly return in the future.

From our group: The salmon was the best... hands down! The signature pizza was amazing! Our waitress was very pleasant, gave great advice and then delivered top shelf service to match!

I stopped in Mia Bella while visiting family in Spring over the holidays and it was great. Both my parents had been there before and raved about it and I was not disappointed at all. The food was delicious and the wine selection was great. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're looking for a great place to take your family and friends.

It is very hard to find a good italian restaurant but this Trattoria at Vintage Park is molto bene per me . We had a family reunion in 2010 and since then I have been there often and a lot of my friends had been satisfy after going there. the service from the server to the manager is great . I have tried many dishes and I had been super happy with my choices. Very romantic for couples. Good wine selection. Overall great place to have a great culinary expererience. 5 stars to the Chef. as well as the rest.

Sunday brunch with friends. The food was good but nothing special. Two had breakfast calzones and while they thought the filling was good the pastry was dry and coated in flour. Perhaps they should have brushed off all the excess flour and brushed it with an egg wash for a nice golden color. Those that had poached eggs thought they were cooked perfectly. The spinach and mushroom filling in my omelette was seasoned very well but I didn't care for the eggs being so brown. I suppose I have to find a French omelette to avoid this. None of us enjoyed the slightly bitter coffee. The casa bella cocktail was a hit. Had to repeatedly ask the bus boy to send our waiter for additional drink orders, etc. Service could have been better.

Very good italian food. Nice ambiance and good drinks menu. Check it out for brunch-very reasonably priced. The calamari fritters and bloodymary are good. The bread they put on the table is excellent. The eggs are cooked perfectly.

Was there with a large party so I can't comment too much on the service. However they are obviously trying to pose as a nice restaurant with the decor and prices and certain things cheapened the night. Just things you wouldn't see in other restaurants with the same prices. The presentation was good but the steak was tough. The drink prices are outrageous. $12 for a martini?? Last time I paid $12 for a drink, it was in Aspen and WELL WORTH IT. These, however, were subpar and not worth it whatsoever. More around the $6-7 range to me, if even.

this restaurant is very good and the price are reasonables. we have gone with my family and the experience has been great since we first visit. I recomend caneloni ! the plates are not so big, they are enough for one person. Pizza is very good too. You can have dinner outside, which is one of the things that i love from this restaurant.

My wife and I went to Mia Bella for her birthday. We got there at 5:00 and were the first to arrive for dinner. The service was excellent. Mia Bella has a very good atmosphere and reminds me of places we visited in Italy. The food, as always, was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and covers all price ranges. Also, if you tell them you are celebrating a birthday, a free desert is offered. Italian Creme Cake is wonderful.

They were fairly busy. Made a reservation and was seated about 10 mins later than reservation. Went to bar to grab a drink. Bartenders not that attentive. They could make ally of money if they were to hustle a little bit more. Our waiter was good. A little slow getting out food. Manager came by and gave gift card for how long it took for the food. Great atmosphere and at Vintage Park they had a little band playing outside.

Mia Bella was a lovely evening with colleagues and friends. I loved the location and the decor/atmosphere. We arrived for our reservation and were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and worked well with us throughout the evening. (Wendy) Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I rate Italian restaurants on their bolognese, but they did not have it, so I went with sausage rigatoni, and this one was a gem! One strange thing happened at the end of the evening. Our server gave us a card with her name on it and let us know that the servers get bonuses if they are mentioned in reviews. I am actually happy that the management incentivizes exceptional service, but I was uncomfortable being asked to do the review. Seems to me that mentions should be spontaneous or not worth much. All in all, however, a good evening.

Food was just not very good. There are so many better Italian places. No reason to eat here. Try Messanotte or Campioni's instead.

Mia Bella is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Vintage Park. Great food and great service.. The management is wonderful, friendly and will always stop by the table to say hello!

My wife and I ate there tonight and were not impressed. The "chef's board" appetizer of imported meat and cheese wasn't what I was expecting at all. The food and service were ok. We ate inside and it was quite noisy which made it difficult to have a conversation.

A choice of wonderful salads, several entrees, and a desert are available at lunchtime for one price. The presentation is great and the service wonderful. A wonderful place to take someone to lunch when time is a factor.

The food id ok, but not exceptional. There is better Italian food out there. Service was just ok as well.

Terrific Italian food! Great bread with oil dip. We didn't get any appetizers but the others who did looked amazing. We got pizza, pasta and salads. All of our meals were wonderful. We will defiantly go back!

I have lived down the road from Mia Bella since it's opening, however, it took my sister and brother in law who live in Atlanta, to introduce me to it. They came to visit in August, and again in September, and we have been 4 times! 2 times in each 3 day visit, that's how impressed we all were. From the warm bread and well seasoned oil, to the delectable and highly creative appetizers, on to the unmatched yumminess of the Risottos, and the originality of the pairings of ingredients of the entrees, and of course, our Very personable waiter, Jake, (we adored him instantly, with his awesome service, great smile and welcoming personality), we didn't think we could be more pleased. And then dessert came. Yummmmmm. Go, Go soon, and to make it an Awesome experience, ask for Jake. Thank you Jake, and thank you Mia Bella for a dining experience that makes all feel special.

An addendum to a friend's retirement party, is what brought us to this very popular spot...the perfect setting for good friends to catch up on life. Delicious food, warm hospitality, excellent service...not a single negative comment can we make!

It is no italian food per se, but you can enjoy a good dish with an American regional flare. Nice place, prices are fair with an excellent service, my recommendation is the Filetto Di Manzo!!

My co-workers and I enjoyed an evening meal here during our stay in Houston. The atmosphere was of a quaint café in Italy. The food was very good. The variety of offerings made it easy for everyone to get what they wanted. I highly recommend eating here if you can.

I had a great time here. The ambience is so stylish, service is good and food is delicious and fresh. I really liked the warm bread, which is complimentary by the way. I had brunch there on a Sunday noon (after the church service next door ended) and I loved it!! I would definitely like to explore other dishes there next time I visit Houston.

Had lunch with friends, I ordered from the Express menu, this included three courses for $ 11 95. I had the house salad, choice of main dish and a delicious chocolate cake. The waiter was friendly and helpful, a nice touch was three of the 5 of us had the express lunch but all of us were given the chocolate cake at no additional cost.the restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere.

Very picky about my Italian food. The service and the food are high caliber. Everyone found something that they liked and it was all good.

Very good lunch options. All of the food was great! Service was good as well. We had the create your own pasta, chicken muffuletta, tomato bisque and the house salad. Everything was tasty! We were casual, but most of the other diners were in business attire.

It had been a while since we did happy hr here so decided to go after a movie and weren't disappointed. From 4 to 7 pm Mon thru Fri in the bar only their house wines are only $4 and all appetizers are $4 off! We had the house Chardonnay and it was very good. We ordered the mussels in a tomato sauce and they are delicious. The fresh bread they serve is great for sopping up that great sauce. New also shared the risotto croquettes in a jalapeño cream sauce which was fantastic. It was rich but delicious. Service was good and great people watching'. Check it out!

What a pleasant surprise to find a Sunday brunch menu that was reasonable. Build your own pasta for $10 to chicken crepes for $12. The wait staff was exceptional, knowledgeable, and personable. Outdoor seating is available but was just too hot for us on this particular visit.

Good food, pretty good wine prices & selection, and good service. Dined here with a group of friends and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Manager is very alert that you are well - treated! WE were hungry and was already late but they hold up the kitchen as we order in advance before closure. Overall is great! xcept for the mohito and sparkling cocktails. Starter: Goat Cheese Putanesca - is ok... was expecting more goat cheese and less tomatos - is basically the components to make a bruschetta Tomato-Basil Bisque - very good! can't go wrong with this one! Entrees: Parmigiana di Pollo -is delicious, well served and filled with spinach and mushrooms! totally recommend but the Pesce con Porto is absolutely delicious!!!!!!! (if you like Porto sauce - that generally is a bit sweet. Only thing that went wrong as I mention were the drinks and at the end of my Halibut I found 4 spines!!! so careful ! *but well worth the risk!

I visited the place for Friday lunch I ordered risotto croquettes - it was dry, tasteless and swimming with identify "pesto butter" For main dish I ordered salmon penne Pasta was ok, not more Salmon- you need magnifying glass to detect it Bottom line - medium food But the self made bred- was really great

Went there for dinner and we were very disappointed. Would give 1 star if it wasn't for the manager. Our waitress seemed uninterested in her job and sort of unfriendly. Food was a joke. Their portion size is ridiculously small for the price and their pasta is very chewy and has an odd flavor to it. There was barely any sauce on it. The best thing about the food was the free bread they bring in the beginning. Wont be back.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The service has always been spotty, but the ambiance is lovely and the patio by the fountains is really the reason I had continued going, even after less than average experiences. I used to go for their lunch special once every couple of months, but I got fed up with the wine prices and erratic service. Last month, because the weather was so beautiful, I went with my husband and kids. My eggplant parmesan was okay. The risotto croquettes were definitely not as tasty as they used to be. The bread service is even erratic. Sometimes they bring it, sometimes they don't. My son got the kid's pizza, which was fine. My house cabernet was ten dollars a glass. Really? The 1.5 liter bottle of this stuff doesn't cost that much, retail. And if you order a second glass, they do the tacky "creamer" full of wine. Seriously? You bring me a glass creamer with wine in it? Are they afraid their bartenders( who, by the way, are not a friendly couple of fellows) are going to pour 1/10th on an ounce too much? Every time the weather gets nice, I yearn for a seat by the fountain, good food, and company. Mia Bella no longer delivers. They are perfectly situated, which can make a person forget the over-priced food and drink and not-so-great service. Eventually, though, people get wise and I am one of them.

Corporate type restaurants are all suffering from the same issue wait staff turnover. Nice is good, but efficiency is appreciated. Food is passable, but not memorable. We saw the manager more than we saw our waitress. They are trying, but their menu needs to be simpler, too ambitious for their skill level.

Met a small group of friends there. The bread and olive oil are very good. Best thing we had. A few of us got the Mia Bella salad (large). Only one person had a decent sized salad. The others were as small as a side salad and VERY skimpy with goat cheese, etc. Another friend ordered a crab cake appetizer. Disgusting. Even looked disgusting. If you have never had a good crab cake you may like it but otherwise it was difficult to even look at. The women's bathroom has 2 stalls. The toilet was broken in one stall and literally falling apart in the other. Bad experience. Please use your money elsewhere.

We just recently moved her from NYC . really have missed our Italian restaurant back home. After trying several places here I think we finally found our spot. Great location food was different but amazing. We had miale,(pork) and the house specialty that was recommended by our server. The seafood lasagna . we took advantage of the feature wine list and got a great deal on a bottle of Chianti, can't remember the name. Service was Stella . he did not hover but was there when we needed him. He also made some great recommendations. 2 managers came by our table, one thanks us for coming in for the first time and told us about the brunch and monthly wine dinners. Overall great visit. We will be back soon!!

My nephew suggested this place to meet for dinner with our wives. Nice place to eat some good American Italian food and drink some vino. Would go there again, a bit pricey for my taste. My wife has used this place for meeting/lunch with her friends.

Asked 3 different times for bar drink menu. Got a free appetizers. Hostess apologized for slow service. My son ordered special New York strip. Dry. Tough fat. I ordered the Beef filet medium. Came out VERY rare. Sent it back. Finally told them forget it. Hostess packed to go at no charge. When I got home cut into it. This time at least it was rare and not raw in the middle.

We first visited in April 2017 and couldn't wait to come back in May. So disappointed. Our server was awkward. He didn't share the specials (we found out later about specials because server at next table over was sharing them) Our son's pizza came while we were still eating our salads. Our entrees arrived over cooked and the risotto was gooey, not creamy. It was as if it was all sitting under warming lights while waiting for us to finish our salads. Our son didn't finish his pizza and asked for it be boxed, we never received it. As we are signing the check, our server comes over and refills our drinks. Just weird service. Will probably give it one more try but will make sure we have a different server.

Great food, great environment and great service. Price for each person is about 30 dollars for a main meal served with bread and sky juice. Big portion for Asian like me and good enough for 2 person with 1 meal. Located at the center of VIntage Park where consist of many different type of restaurants. This is the one for Italian food. Crowded during weekend.

I wanted to dine here but almost didn't after reading the reviews. We did enjoy Mia Bella, Vintage Park. Unfortunately we were seated two seats from the entrance on a half booth, but we went with it. This may have attributed to the fact there was a fly on and around our table. Our appetizer, Capesante con Porri, was listed as a roasted jalepeno sauce but was actually served in a cilantro sauce. It was ok. The Filetto di Manzo: grilled 6 oz. beef tenderloin filet was NOT stacked atop a crustini and grilled prosciutto as the menu stated and billboard photo advertised. Service was great.

In for a late lunch, early dinner (normally the slow, sluggish time for staff.) Not the case at this establishment. The hosteess, waiter, manager and busboy were just as attentive as they would be during a rush. the food was really enjoyable. Ceasar salad, Margerita pizza, Spinach manicotti were fresh, and cooked as my partner and I liked. The setting is lovely and peaceful, even though it is located in an outdoor shopping center. there is a lovely fountain, plenty of flora. really relaxing dining experience.

Our group went for NYE and had a good time. The service was a little wonky: awkward and intrusive at times (reaching over us consistently to take plates and fill water). Our main server was great, though, and friendly. The food was consistently good. Even with the live music playing, the noise level wasn't too bad. We'd go back.

This is our 3rd visit to the restaurant. The 1st visit was fine, the 2nd (1 yr ago) was less than stellar. Tonight, we went back. The waiter was polite yet stretched thin. We could see him serving tables in and outside the restaurant The ancillary help were uniformly poor like walking around with blinders on; forgetting necessary items like, plates, silverware, napkins (after 20 minutes of waiting). Failed to give some tables bread & oil. Some ancillary staff dropped food on customers. No one checked once to refill waters and the list goes on. I explained our concerns to the waiter, again a pleasant person, yet he seemed overwhelmed. He apologized yet his crew still failed to perform. The food "looked" good but honestly wasn't tasty nor warm/hot. This was our last visit.

Sit down and have a well prepared meal. The lunch menu is great, you can prepare your own pasta or enjoy a wood fired pizza. And if you are in a rush get it to go, once you try it you will wonder why it took you so long.

Love the Downtown Houston Mia Bella and wanted to try the Vintage Park location for lunch with a friend. Service was excellent; setting is beautiful and the food is delicious. Quality is fresh and our chicken dishes had a nice Italian fusion of flavors. The bread...OMG over the top delicious. Will return to this excellent restaurant.

Excellent service and lunch at this restaurant. The kitchen knew how to make my salad vegan friendly & our waiter was very professional. I didn't feel rushed during my dining experience at all. Great place!

We've dined here a number of times. Twice for birthday or anniversary celebrations. Several times with friends. Excellent service and food. Quiet enough for conversation.

it is not sufficient to call a restaurant "trattoria" to make Italian cooking. Menu and food had nothing Italian! And text in the menu had a lot of mistakes. Next time use google translator at least!

I have been working in Houston over 4 months now and have eaten out every night. Mia Bella at Vintage Park is definitely one of if not the best restaurant I have eaten at. The breakfast crepe with fruit salad on the side is delicious. For dinner the whole wheat tortellini is incredible but my favourite which I've now had twice is the Polpette. 2 large meatballs with wholewheat spaghetti with just the right amount of sundried tomatoes and ricotta cheese. It is so nice to have somewhere to eat that offers wholewheat options. From the minute you arrive to the moment you leave the staff are always extremely friendly and attentitive. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 👌

This restaurant has great italian in the classy Vintage shopping center on the north side of Houston. They also have a great happy hour with food and drink specials. Great place to meet after work.

We had lamb chops and maple glazed pork chops both were delicious. The sevice was excellent ,and would come back again to try their brunch.

Service was excellent and meal was exactly what I ordered. Drink selection excellent. Ambience was super.

This was my first visit to Mia Bella, and I was impressed with the restaurant, food, and service. I was with a group of lady friends for lunch. Our waitress Wendy was wonderful! She answered all of the group's questions; she was patient, friendly, and fun. Julio was also humorous and helpful, checking on all the tables to be sure everything was going well. The food was delicious! Everyone at the table was very pleased. I ordered a Crab Cake with sweet potato balsamic chutney & saffron wine reduction. It was a wonderful combination of savory and sweet! Everybody was happy with their food choices. You will be too. Mia Bella has a nice atmosphere, terrific food and great service!

While my husband has dined here several times, this was my first time, and it was our anniversary. We got a booth, which is my favorite, and it actually was not too crowded for a Friday night. Service was awesome from the minute we stepped in the door. The staff were very attentive, and when it was mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary, they graciously served us a complimentary drink. Our waitress seemed new to the restaurant, but she did an awesome job nonetheless. I eat vegetarian, and had no problem finding something meat free. I am already thinking about when I might come back.

Four of us went to dinner together, and everyone's food was absolutely excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.

I had brunch here several times with my wife and the food has always been great. Service is good, not great.

My co-workers and I thoroughly enjoy eating lunch at Mia Bella. Their daily executive lunch menu offers a great selection of lunch size portions at very affordable and reasonable prices. My favorites are the lasagne alla pescatore, parmigiana di pollo, and the penne al salmone.

Although the service is good, I cannot say the same about the food I ordered. There were 2 of us and neither were satisfied with the taste of our food. Didn't seem very genuine.

We went with another couple for drinks and appetizers Friday evening 5:00. Wine was 4 a glass and other drinks specialy raced as were the appetizers which were excellent. Grilled artichokes ,proscuitto fruit and cheese plate, shrimp in tomato sauce, crab cake. We sat outside and were graciously moved to a table out of the direct sunlight. Fresh bread baked onsite was provided with an olive oil dipping sauce. Our waiter was attentive to our needs and very professional. The happy hour will be visited again.

Had dinner with friends just now. This is the best Italian food I ever had, the breads are amazing... Would love to come again n again..

Probably the most well-trained waitstaff in NW Houston (Cypress). They are experienced in all areas of excellent customer service. Great food. You will not be disappointed! Well run restaurant. Locally owned. If you haven't tried Mia Bella in The Vintage you are missing out.

Really enjoy their Wednesday extended happy hour. $20 for a bottle of wine (that is actually decent) and 2 small plates or a pizza.

Very good Italian food, good service. Located in Vintage park with wine places next door and shopping around. Have only been once at lunch but will be going back in the future.

Absolutely wonderful, delicious, eye appealing, tasty......get the idea? This place serves a tremendous variety of Italian favorites. They have enough wine on hand to float a battle ship and that translates to a great selection. We were here for a family celebration for a 100 birthday. It was somewhat chaotic to me but the staff pulled it off with class. We were checked on by what I imagine was the manager to make sure everything was going great....and it was!!!!

I am reviewing Mia Bella based on two separate dining experiences. The first was about two months ago. I met my friend for dinner at seven on Thursday. The hostess was accommodating, and the server was pretty attentive. The seafood lasagna I ordered was very bland and desiccated, it tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. The only appealing aspect of the dish was the shrimp on top, and the small amount of bechamel sauce swirled on the plate. There was quite a delay in getting my second glass of wine, and I almost refused it as I was nearly finished eating. Dessert wasn't memorable, I got something chocolate, and the bill was rather high. Last night my husband and I went for dinner after being given a gift card. We ordered cocktails (I thoroughly enjoyed the champagne Cosmo), and calamari. The calamari was fabulous, succulent and tender with a spicy marinara to die for. Before our appetizer was cleared, we both ordered the fillet cooked rare, and opted to split the house salad to start. A this time we also ordered a bottle of wine. We finished our cocktails and appetizer, and received our salad and water refills, but no wine and no server. We finished the salad and our fillets were promptly brought out. The beef could melt in your mouth, it was tender and flavorful. Personally, I would have loved to have had it paired with a nice risotto instead of the very basic mashed potato and julienne squash, and I didn't really eat the potatoes or veg, but the beef was so good I didn't mind. However, still no wine! We made it half way through our meal when I turned to my husband and remarked that we should refuse the bottle and just take a glass instead as we were nearly done. We kept eating and talking, and still, no wine. Finally, as my husband was cleaning the last of the potatoes off his plate, and I was enjoying the last bite of beef, the server showed up with the bottle! We turned it down completely, as we were done eating, and asked for the check. Only the quickest apology was made and at no point did a manager come over. We paid and left, deciding to go to Toninos down the road for a glass of wine and dessert. Probably will not return, wouldn't really recommend. The reason I give A three rating instead of two is because the beef was that good and the calamari was delicious.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed brunch, he chose smoked salmon. I ordered a chicken dish from the lunch menu which was delicious. It was too early for wine, but they have an extensive list .Atmosphere was nice but the restaurant was full of patrons for brunch. We arrived at 2:00pm and they were still serving off the brunch menu.Service was good, but the waitress didn't know that the menu had an offering of 1/2 of tomato, mozzarella salad and had a little argument with my husband about it when he ordered a 1/2 order of the salad. She went to the manager and he allowed it. So if it is on the menu it should not be an issue! Another issue I had was asking a person who was changing the linens a question and all she could do was point to another wait person -my guess was she didn't speak a word of english. It was just an ok experience, but the food was very good.

Have had brunch 2x @ this beautiful restaurant. Great patio dining. Service attentive not interfering, food excellent. There were 3 large parties -- 2 inside and 1 outside when we were there for brunch this weekend. Noise wasn't disruptive at all. Had the angel hair pasta with seafood and tuna at our table for dinner. Everyone was very happy with their choices. For brunch, Eggs Mia Bella and Eggs Benedict were delicious. The 2.95 mimosas and bellinis were a hit too. Admit we've been here for Happy Hour and indulged in $3 appetizers and cocktails. Mia Bella is now our favorite happy hour in Northwest Houston.

We stopped at this mall area and picked the Mia Bella without knowing anything about it. We ate lunch there and ordered a seafood dish which I believe was a lunch special. The seafood was a snapper with mashed potatoes. My husband and I split the meal and had plenty to eat. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service was good also. A pleasant dining experience! We travel to Spring TX maybe once a year and will return to this restaurant on another trip.

So I went to eat at Mia Bella at Vintage Park tonight and would give the food an A but the service an C-. The waitress was not rude just very unprofessional and low key. She never took our drink order and went straight to ordering food, never tried to sell an appetizer, although I asked about several seafood entrees and told her I wanted seafood she never told me the specials that included lobster (I saw the table next to me eating it or I would have never known),When I made the reservation I stated it was a Birthday so when my guest said we wanted dessert she told her she got a free Cream Brulee. She never asked if we more desserts and got my guest her free Brulee. Again she never asked about drinks and offered coffee. I had water and 2 times I had to ask other wait staff to fill my empty glass. Okay If I was management reading this I would be very upset about SOOOOO many opportunities to build my bill lost. All good waiters know that drinks, coffee, appetizers, specials, these things add up. As for me I would love to go back because the scallops and pork chops were to die for but.....if I am going to spend $100 to eat I better have both SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD! Come on management train your staff this girl was not prepared.

Yet another disappointment we have visited this location in the past decided to try it again. Wow we are never coming back it is the worst food and service in the Vintage Park. The manager was on his phone texting the whole time never cared to check on us or anyone else.. Too bad

Mia Bella is one of my new favorite places to dine. The menu is nicely varied, the wine selections very good and the chef's presentation leaves you satisfied. I was disappointed this visit with the waiter. Usually the wait staff will introduce him or herself and provide you with the specials of the evening. On this occasion, this gentleman did not. He was very short in his comments which kind of left me with a flat feeling. The meal however was excellent. My husband had the Chilean sea bass and I had the veal with sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. We selected the Seaglass riesling, which complemented the meal very well. We will come back but hope we have a better server the next time.

My wife and another couple had dinner on the patio. The manager came to our table and interruted the waiter and told us he was going to "borrow' him. He called all of the other waiters to the front of the restaurant and appeared to be giving them a "pep talk" while ingoring the customers. The was a Thursday evening at 6 pm. I have never had such an experience where customers were ignored in this fashion. We sat with empty wine glasses and waited for our meal to be served. I spoke to the manager, who basically gave me the impression that he was more important than the we, the customers. Later, the manager came by and asked if everything was ok, giving me the impression that he still didn't realize how inappropriate his gathering of the waiters was.

Take all out of town guests, family and friends to Mia Bella in Vintage. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and you can tell staff enjoys working here. Happy hour is the best with tapas sized plates of yummy goodies and no one has ever left hungry. Enjoying dinner on the patio with the fountain as a view is awesome.

I wish I didn't like their food as much, it's pretty delicious, however the service leaves a lot to be desired. We went with another couple and our daughter for my birthday dinner. Every time we asked for anything they acted as if we were inconveniencing them. Food took forever, they forgot our drinks (alcohol) and the server had only had one item on their menu when I asked what he'd recommend...fettuccine alfredo, which you can get basically anywhere. We haven't been back because of the service.

This was my first time dining at Mia Bella in The Vintage, but it will not be my last. I was pleasantly surprised how nice everyone was from the time we walked in till we left. The food was quite good and not overly priced (not like some in the area) and the service was impeccable. I look forward to going back soon to try other items on their menu!

Upon walking into the outlet, looking at the menu, enjoying the bread an olive oil... Order the Eggs Bendict and must say it was really really great food...even if you want some of the items off the evening menu they will serve you some of those items.... It's a Great Place!

I've never been a big fan of Mia Bella's for brunch even though they are supposed to have one of the best brunches around (I am not a big Eggs Benedict person and there are tons of Eggs Benedict options) but last time we went for dinner it was delicious! The menu is big with lots of great options. I had the seasame crusted tuna with risotto. Very indulgent and delicious. They cooked my tuna perfectly- and the risotto was so good I had to share with my husband who couldn't get enough. Our waiter was young but fun. We had a groupon, too that we wanted to use and managament was very nice about it. The service was great, laid back and the menu seems to get better and better the longer they are open. Would definitely recommend!

This place is the best for Italian food in this area. Besides great menu that offering variety of traditional Italian with "Mia Bella" recipes, there are much more for your family and friends. I enjoy the stone-fired oven pizza the best. There is no comparison for this pizza. You will also recognize the exceptional services from the manager to the host. They are the best. Price is valued for the dished.

For Lunch today we met up with our Covenant Group at Mia Bella in Vintage Park. We get together once a month and this month our gathering was hosted my Don & Kathy, who picked a Very Delicious place for our Lunch. We arrived at Noon, was greeted by the Hostess and shown to our table which was all set up for us. When everyone arrived we placed our Drink Order with our Server, which I forgot her name and on the ticket it says 'Banquet 99', and I know that's not her name - but that's what I will refer to her as so you will know it's our 'Server' - anyway - my Wife is having their Frozen Bellini and I'm going with a Mojito. While we all waited for our drinks the Mia's Staff brought out some baskets of their House made 'Focaccia Bread' with Balsamic Herb Oil. This bread is some pretty good stuff with a Very Crunchy Crust and Tastyliciousness inside. Our Drinks arrived and we all Toasted. My Wife really liked her Bellini and was surprised it wasn't Peach, but it's Deep Red with a Red Wine taste - and that's good because my Wife Loves Wine. My Mojito is Extra Really Good - reminds me of when we were in Aruba drinking Mojitos there. Mia Bella Bartenders done this one right - it's Awesome and so good that I ordered another one to enjoy with my meal. We socialized for awhile before ordering because it's Sunday and we are enjoying this time together. After we looked over the Menu my Wife and I decided to go with a Brick Oven Pizza. She picked out the 'Roasted Vegetable' Pizza; Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Eggplant, Cherry Tomatoes, Portobello Mushrooms, Basil & Goat Cheese. We plan to share this one. My Second Mojito arrived and it's as good as the first one. They do make'em really good here. It was now time to order our food and 'Banquet 99' took everyones order. Mia Bella is really busy today and the Staff handling it all. Soon our food arrived and our 'Roasted Vegetarian Pizza' looks Damn Good - this thing has Lots and Lots of Veggies Everywhere and Globs of Goat Cheese are all around. 'Banquet 99' sprinkled some Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese all over the Pizza and also on the Slice I have on my plate. Now it's time to eat and that First Bite was the First of Many-a-Delicious Bites. This Pizza is Tasty and the Fresh Vegetables are Delicious and I'm Loving It. It looks as Beautiful as it taste and it taste Mighty Good. My Wife wasn't very hungry and we thought we just might take some home - but no we ate it all and Loved Every Bite. Not sure what the others ordered but whatever they had looked pretty darn good also and I'm sure they enjoyed theirs as much as we enjoyed ours. 'Banquet 99' did an outstanding job serving all our needs and earned the 'Dollar-Bow-Tie' Award, thought it was cute and thanked me Very Much. We have been here before and Loved what we ordered then and Love what we ordered today. Check'em out on Facebook; Mia Bella Restaurant (Vintage Park) - and On-Line - and pick you up a Mojito - they make'em really good here. It was great getting together with our Covenant Group once again and can't wait for our next gathering. On the way home my Lovely Wife and I enjoyed another Beautiful Texas Afternoon in the Vette-Jet with the Top Down - all the way home. Love You Baby, Bunches & PizzaMunches.

A friend and I met at Mia Bella in the Vintage for a "girl's lunch. We had the executive lunch which included a salad of choice, an entrée of choice, and dessert. There were other price point choices for lunch but we chose the 16.95. Pricey but we knew going in we were going to splurge. We were not disappointed. We had Pesce con Lemon (Tilapia over risotta with spinach), the Mia Bella salad and Italian dream cake for dessert. We added wine and coffee. The meal was a wonderful mid week splurge. The fish was cooked perfectly, the salad was a meal in itself, and the dessert was rich and creamy. The wait staff was very attentive and helped us choose our meal and wine. The manager even said that if were weren't satisfied with the fish choice, we could change it. This was a great lunch, atmosphere and food, and polite attentive staff. Yes we paid for it but a well deserved treat.

I have been to Mia Bella many times and am usually happy with my food and service. I have felt a little rushed by our waiter a time or to but that is not usual.

I have been to Mia Bella many times over the past three years and had many good experiences, but a recent visit really soured my memories and made me never want to visit again. I was in this morning for an early birthday lunch for my mom. We had my two year old with us, who is exceptionally well behaved and quiet (thanks to his love of playing games on his Kindle!) and requested to sit outside in the patio area just in case he got a little boisterous. We were seated immediately and the server who seated us removed a chair to create room for a highchair. Our server greeted us several minutes later, but didn't bring a highchair for five more minutes after we asked. Then he didn't ask if my son needed anything to drink, and didn't bring a kids menu until I asked. We ordered the crab cake appetizer and it didn't come out for another 20 minutes. During this time, the server never came back to refill our drinks or take our order or check on us at all, although he was nearby at another table and being very attentive. We felt very uncomfortable, like we were being snubbed for bringing a child with us, even though as stated, he was very well behaved and quiet. We split the crab cake and paid, leaving hungry without ever being asked if we wanted to order lunch. The drink refill came with the check. Definitely never going back, which is sad because I've liked the food in the past, and have brought my eight year old stepdaughter, and son when he was an infant and never experienced this shunning before, and never have either of them ever acted out or were loud in the past (even when the restaurant was loud). I mean there are restaurants that I would never dream of taking my son, but this isn't exclusive enough for the snobbery. And the crab cake was fishy.

I went for date night and was not disappointed. Our server was prompt and the food was delicious. Our glasses were never empty and we left with full bellies!

2nd time we have been here for lunch and will definitely return! This is the Pesca Paisano - Grilled Marinated Trout on a bed of Harissa Herbed Couscous topped w/ Roasted Tomato Cilantro Pesto, looks thicker than in person. The pesto was light and did not take away from the taste of this beautiful fish! I substituted the Couscous with the Risotto w/ ease from the Chef. Services as exceptional, present yet non intrusive and very knowledgeable with a genuine sense of elegant hospitality. Another in my group had the Salmon Daily Special and wish I would’ve taken a picture of that elegant entree. Chef was very friendly as was the manager of the floor. Prices are comfortably equal to the quality of this experience. Kids are welcomed and they make special efforts to make dishes that are specific to their needs. With a 2 story ceiling I was concerned with noise but had no problems with conversation, hearing and speaking across the slightly larger/ extremely comfortable table.

Ate outside - the food was amazing as was the Joel Gott Chardonnay. We asked for a dinner menu and I had the ahi tuna (perfectly cooked) and the sauce was amazing. The mushroom risotto was to die for. I wish they had told me the tuna had black and white seeds in the sauce as they get caught in my teeth but I assume they added flavor and I would order it again.. My husband loved his crab cake. Service nit was our waiter Tony overcharged us - we asked to split a half salad and I asked if it was a half salad when he delivered on two plates, as there was so much salad ($6 for a half salad but got a $13 charge on the bill and the full salad is only $12 on the menu. I'm sure this is due to the split charge but we would have just ordered a half salad and shared it ). We winded up taking half of our salad home; but with the dressing is on it, I'm not sure how good the salad will be for dinner tonight . Also wish Tony had mentioned the special menu as another waiter mentioned it to a table nearby and the salmon special sounded really good. FYI, when we arrived, I went inside just to ask about a table outside and they took my temperature. We sat in the shade and later the waiters moved our umbrella over a few feet to accommodate another table also. Moving the umbrella wasn't a problem originally but by the time, we got our food, we were in the sun but we didn't want to ask them to move it back and put the other couple in the sun. We love Mia Bella and plan to come back, but we are just mentioning things Mia Bella (waiters) could improve on..

Some friends and I went here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed. There was 1 table left at 11:30 so we snagged it. Moments later a waiter came and set a purse holder by our table and helped our ladies settle in, very classy. The food/service was great and at an affordable price (ranging from about $7-$14). They have a wide array of brunch drinks like Mimosas and Bellinis for $2.95. We will definitely be going back here for brunch and recommend it for anyone near the Vintage Park area looking for an early Saturday/Sunday meal. Enjoy!

Went for dinner on a Friday night. First time visit. The place was packed and quite noisy. Even so, service was prompt and attentive. Our server was friendly and helped answer questions about the menu (with some effort to communicate over the din). Food was merely OK - not bad, just nothing special or noteworthy. Entree prices generally are reasonable. Decent wine list. Nice decor. May try it again on a weekday evening.

We arrived at 11:30 on a Saturday morning for brunch and just a few other tables were occupied. By the time we left at 12:30, it was packed! There was also some kind of bridal party in the back of the restaurant (separated by a curtain). Mostly the other tables were ladies doing brunch. It is a bright, sunny restaurant with easy parking within the Vintage Park plaza. Though I did not see it listed on the menu, there are carafes of Bellini and mimosas. We had the mimosas and they were tasty though not very strong. But that's ok! I had the Eggs Mia Bella and my friend had the Eggs Florentine. Both entrees came with 2, so we each had one of both types of Eggs Benedict. Both were PERFECT. There was just enough hollandaise sauce (which was perfectly seasoned) where you could taste it but the English muffin was not soggy. The vegetables (mushrooms, spinach, artichoke hearts) were a nice compliment and did not distract from the poached egg, hollandaise sauce or crisp English muffin. I am not a huge Eggs Benedict fan but these were so tasty that I will absolutely order again here. The eggs were served with a potato wedge (nothing special) and fresh fruit (melon, berries, pineapple).

Erik was absolutely amazing! He knew everything Mia Bella and gave great suggestions. When my husband and I first walked in the host looked us up and said “Congratulations “ that was so sweet. We are celebrating our wedding anniversary. My husband got the lamb cocco looco is was delicious tender meat and I got the chicken primanga which was to die for!! The drinks were amazing too. The ambiance was romantic and cozy. The dessert was on the house crepe brûlée with two glasses of champagne with cherries. We will definitely be back!

Went on a Friday night to Mia Bella after a long absences from this place. It is still very good with a vibrant crowd inside and out and a live scene on the commons by the front door. The food was excellent, however the lighting in the corners is not great so I could not see everything. The wine list is affordable. Will be back soon.

My wife and I have been to Mia Bella several times, and the atmosphere has changed quite a bit since the last time we went, and not for the better. It just seems to much darker. That being said, when we entered, we were seated right away in a great location, the waiter was a little awkward, but was able to give us the specials and answer questions without a problem. The bread and balsamic were very very good. For my meal, I got something with rigatoni berguez in the title, which was basically rigatoni pasta with a berguez sauce, and some beef and lamb for the meat. It was very good, and I would definitely have it again. We told the server at the beginning that we were celebrating our anniversary, so the manager came by towards the end of our meal and ask if he could send over some champagne. We agreed, and not only did he send champagne, but a free Creme Brulee as well, which was very tasty. All in all, it was a great experience. Our drinks never ran dry, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Mia Bella.

Great place for a nice lunch. We enjoyed the daily specials. Every dish we have was excellent. Be sure to save room for dessert.

Great for lunch and brunch. Good salads and fresh pizza and Italian food. Reasonable prices. Good service and fresh food. Fresh bread!

This place is located in the Vintage Park, is surrounded by water fountains and the ambiance in the interior is very appealing, is excellent for romantic dinners or family reunions or just for have a good Italian food very exquisite well presented and affordable price, the menu is very complete and offer various dishes, my favorite entree is the Cotoletta D'Agnello, the Tiramisu is to die for, in the Bar the mastered the cocktails and the Bloody Mary is incredible, the wine selection is great and the service excellent, They also have a delicious bread. EXCELLENT....

Nothing special about this Italian restaurant. Fairly good menu selections. Food was nothing outstanding. Good wine selections. Service was rather slow considering that the restaurant was about 1/4 occupied.

This is a nice restaurant but there are better places to eat Italian in Houston. The calamari is nice and comes with an unusual dipping sauce, not the usual marinara. Have only been a couple of times so I haven't tried everything. Kids liked the pizza.

Salmon was great. Tasty , good side dish, just great . Opening bread- could be better with a different spice than olive oil and pepper. Price/ high for the dish

Mia Bella's never disappoints. I have been there for lunch and dinner numerous times, and the food and service have always been outstanding. I went recently with a group of 10. The seated us in a private dining room just big enough for us. We had several waiters who were very attentive. My husband and I split the Mia Bella salad - plenty for two people. I ordered the pork tenderloin with pear chutney risotto and cleaned my plate - one of the best dishes I have ever had. In fact, everyone in our group was very pleased with what they ordered. If you like seafood lasagna, the serving is huge. We had two people order that, and I think both took home at least half of the serving. Great place for lunch or dinner. At lunch, you can order half a salad which makes a very reasonable serving. The crab cake with sweet potato chutney in a saffron sauce is a fabulous appetizer. You won't be disappointed with Mia Bella.

Love this place. I usually go there for lunch or brunch. Great Italian food and absolutely love their Bellinis!

Hit on all cylinders - good food, good service, reasonable prices, nice ambiance. Not perfect, not the best, but a really safe choice if you are looking for a good Italian meal.

I had my Birthday dinner in the wine room. There were kids running around unsupervised and no one seemed concerned. One of the kids pushed 2 bottle of red wine through from the outside and they smashed and I was covered with red wine and so were my gifts. Not only were the parents not concerened but the wait staff or management did nothing to stop them from continuing to run around. I am not blaming this on the Restaurant entirely. I just felt as if they should have asked them to stop. The food is average but I think it is time for this place to either upgrade or change. It's not bad food, it's just average to me. I don't like to give bad reviews but this place was not comfortable or delicious. It is very loud.

Went for a work dinner and we really enjoyed it. I loved the focaccia bread to start - we actually asked for a second one. I tried the Chicken Marsala and loved it - came with gnocchi and the flavor of the sauce was super tasty! Others in my party tried the Chicken Parmesan and the Seafood Lasagna and both seemed to like it. Props for having a half size salad! Love when that is an option. This is in the Vintage Park area and has decent free parking options available. Good ambience and we had a great server! Would recommend!

After a taxing day it is very nice to relax with just the two of us or a foursome. The wines are served by servers that can make educated suggestions on by the glass or bottle. Plus the drinks from their full bar selections. They know the menus very well and attend to any allergies when necessary. Our favorite time to go is when the sun is setting and the evening is cool/warm enough for the outdoor seating. Many weekend evenings there is entertainment in The outdoor area.

My husband and I came here for our 10th anniversary. The entire staff was attentive, especially our waitress, Galina. The complimentary focaccia was delicious! My husband had the lamb ravioli and I ordered the Italian style dumplings. They brought us a free creme Brulee to share to celebrate our anniversary. Our only advice to people coming here is to consider ordering an appetizer or two with your meal if you come with a big appetite. The servings are reasonable, but my husband was still hungry. Overall, a positive experience!

Met some friends at Mia Bella's for dinner. I ordered the Mia Bella's Chicken it was awful! There was not much flavor, the veggies where soggy, and the presentation of the dish left little to be desired. The chicken was swimming in flavourless broth. Service was spotty. I definately would not go back.

eggplant was good not breaded with a realy good sauce. I did have good service went to the one in the vintage

Enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Delicious and very beautiful. I enjoyed it with my husband and it is a great date place!

We found this restaurant had a nice romantic feel. Not too noisy, great decor and fabulous service. Wendy was our server and did a great job. I really loved the food. First, they brought out probably the best bread I've ever had in my life with the olive oil and Italian seasoning. I ordered the Ahi Tuna that was excellent!! My girl got the pork ravioli that was equally good. The prices were very reasonable. I'm pleased to give Mia Bella a 5 star rating.

It's only ok...maybe because it is a chain! They have a nice wine selection, and the pasta selections are generally okay, but it isn't worth the money really.

We had a great time trying the variety of drinks and appetizers which were all very good. We will go back soon!

Nice italian place. great bread. great date place. varied menu. The olive oil and vinegar for the bread was yummy. Not too pricey (about $15-25) which is good for the type place.

Mia Bella Trattoria is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at in Vintage Park. I have never been disappointed by a meal or service here. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner on Tuesday night and the food was delicious and the service by the server and manager was the best! I decided to order something different for me, and ordered the salmon penne dish and my husband ordered the veal. Both dishes were very good. The manager came by and introduced himself and the waitress was so sweet. My husband had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us two champagne glasses with cherries and for dessert a slice of Italian cream cake that was also delicious! We dined outside and the weather was perfect. Mia Bella staff really made us feel special and our anniversary dinner special too.

I've been taking my family, and customers, to Mia Bella in NW Houston's Vintage Park for ~5 years, and it remains one of our favorites. The restaurant faces the courtyard fountains, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Mia Bella is very spacious and open, with a fairly large semi-circular bar that's somewhat secluded in one of the corners. My favorite antipasti are the Calamari Fritti and the Strudel di Funghi e Formaggio (Mushroom Strudel). The calamari is great, but the mushroom strudel is great and I've never seen it anywhere else. My favorite entrees are the Lasagne alla Pescatore (Seafood Lasagne) and the Filetto di Manzo (Beef Tenderloin Filet). Again, I've never seen the Seafood Lasagne anywhere else, and it's an amazing combination of shrimp, clams, scallops, lasagne, topped with lobster sauce. The filet is consistently very good, and also has a very unique flavor. Enjoy with your favorite bottle of wine. If you have room, get the Tiramisu!

We order pizza and pasta and both were very well. The serve the pizza in a piece of wood, different way to present it. The have an interesting menu with many italian choices. I didn't triy the desserts but seems to be interesting. The service was very good.

I was attending a child's birthday in the area and our group wanted to have lunch after the party. I wanted to head back to Houston, but my wife convinced me to try Mia Bella instead. Very happy I did. Food and service were excellent. One of the best Chicken Caesar salads that I've had in a great while. Focaccia bread was excellent as well. Everyone had a great time and all were impressed with the food.

We were a large party of business colleagues which the restaurant accommodated with ease – sitting to one side of the restaurant which allowed us to talk freely without disturbing other diners. The level of service we received for such a large group was very impressive, I don’t think we had to wait for anything, the food arrived promptly and the drinks flowed freely. Well done! Good menu with a nice selection of dishes that would tempt anyone. Food was well presented and tasted delicious. We all left very happy and promised to return at the earliest opportunity.

We were extremely pleased with the service and food quality that we received. The bread was awesome. We will definitely come back for a revisit.

We came to Mia Bella Vintage Park in seek of a restaurant to host our wedding dinner party. We had to fire Gianna's in Tomball two months before the wedding because the owner was so rude and difficult to work with. My matron of honor and I went in for lunch to Mia Bella and met with Annabelle. Annabelle created an entirely different atmosphere and welcomed our business. She was excited about our event and anxious to make it a memorable evening. We were able to book the private room, she helped with the centerpieces and had everything set up EXACTLY the way I had requested. Even though she had an emergency at home the night of the wedding, she was at the restaurant upon our arrival to assure that we were happy with everything. That is true customer service! My family and friends were welcomed by the entire staff, the waiters (JT and Jonathon) went out of their way to accommodate and even went shopping for a present for my husband and me. The food came out timely, tasty and true to what was on the menu. Everyone had a great time and couldn't stop talking about the dinner venue. Brides....this place will definitely make your dining experience easy to plan and they will assure your guests are happy. The entire staff came together with service on this one and all congratulated us on our wedding. I'm happy to say that this place is close to our home so that I can come back often. Thanks Mia Bella Trattoria Vintage Park!

Mia Bella n this location (I have not been to other locations, so no basis for comparison) is just average. The food is not memorable, definitely not bad by any means, but does not stick out for me. Service is very good. I have been there on lunches, mostly business, and this was the first time that I go there for dinner. Basically, nothing to write home about, simply average

My husband made reservations for us for Easter Sunday. We were excited to try a new place. When we showed up, we waited behind the walk-ups in front of us who were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. We gave them our name. They found us on their computer list, and told us it would be 30-40 minutes. Shocked, I said,

We ate at this restaurant tonight but weren’t impressed by our Neals. The bread is great but you pay for any extra servings of bread. Two of our party ordered the 12 oz New York strip steak. It was ok that’s all I’ll say. One ordered children’s pizza and other one ordered salmon. Neither child cared for their dish and said they never wanted to eat here again! Spouse got spinach over pasta with Alfredo sauce but it was very runny and not what they’d thought it’d be. Too each their own but not worth the money we spent there imo.

I love patio at Mia Bella for a Sunday brunch. If you have a group of about 10 people, you should also ask to reserve the "wine room", which is secluded from the rest of the restaurant and is quieter and nicely decorated. The pizza is super delicious. I pretty much get that ever time. The French toast on the brunch menu is also really good. My husband got potatoes as a side with a brunch plate and he said they were really try and stale. Other than that, I have had very positive experiences at Mia Bella. The lunch and brunch menu items ate pretty reasonably priced.

I’ve been to many Italian restaurants and this rates at the top. Went for Sunday brunch with family and we all had something different. Each of us agreed that the food was exceptional. My eggs Benedict was the best I’ve eaten. Two of us had pizza and just raved over it. Will be going back on my next visit to Houston.

Galina’s service was spectacular she helped answer all our questions! I had a great night out with my girlfriends thanks to her phenomenal service! The food was delicious too

Just ate there yesterday and we found the food to be average at best. The chicken marsala was chewy and lukewarm and the roasted chicken was uninspired. The wine by the glass list is really in need of some additions. Service was good but all in all from a few years ago to today Mia Bella Vintage is not as good as it used to be. I am sad to say this Italian place is not up to par for it's location and menu.

We Visited Houston TX this past week. We are at Fast Food, Family Style, and combination Restaurants. The Italian Restaurant ( Mia Bella) that we took the extended family to was an overall disappointment. The service and attitude of our server , Amanda, detracted from the variety of Italian Dishes we ordered ( the Fried Calamari appetizer was excellent, The Bruschetta was ok but way overpriced ). Six of us were seated a combination booth + chair arrangement with place settings for four(4). Amanda brought our waters in Styrofoam ( Rest of Table had Glass). We requested two more place settings while we ordered a bottle of wine, ice tea and Soda. We go the wine, and Ice Tea but no more place settings. Another wait staff member noticed our water set up and came with six glasses of water and said she was not sure why we were served Styrofoam. When the calamari arrived I again asked Amanda for the Diet Soda. After a while, I asked one of the managers if we could please have two more place settings, which he promptly provided. Amanda eventually brought us the diets soda. The meals were brought to us by other server and we did not see Amanda again until the bill was presented. We debated the level of tip to leave but felt the other servers who assisted attempted upgrade our service. It's quite disappointing that after leaving the restaurant bidding our good byes , that the service and not the meal was the topic of discussion. We will always remember the "Time We Visited Houston and got poor service at our family get together dinner" During our visit to Spinge we also ate at Chedders, Red Robin, and I Hop - All the servers were Excellent .

First of all I'd like to recognize my waiter Justin who was very attentive in making sure my wife and I had everything we needed! I am a vegetarian and had a hard time finding something that appealed to me. At first, Justin suggested I get a plate that normally is accompanied with Chicken but without the meat. However this option was not the least bit good. Immediately he brought me a better plate that I finished every last bite of! So overall, the food is good once you figure it out through a not so usual menu for an Italian restaurant but the service received by Justin and even the manager was outstanding! Much better service than I received at the Sugar Land location! Thank you for the excellent service!

Stopped here on a whim with my sister and our daughters for dinner. The seating outside is refreshing and entertaining. We got to hear live music and the lull of the fountain in the center of the Pavillion and had fun people watching. The food was tasty and service was efficient and friendly. I was told by my sister that the prices were a bit high, but compared to home in the Hamptons, NY they were on par with what is the norm.
OVER-THE-TOP SERVICE, FOOD & QUALITY
I attended a wedding dinner on Dec 27th at this restaurant and it was undoubtedly the most WELL-RUN service with the best food and drinks ever! Service went over and above to create the type of welcome that makes one feel they are at a wedding of royalty. It brings you back to the way business used to be when patrons were important and there was pride in service. Eggplant parmeson was fabulous while others had the steak and said it was the best they'd ever had! Their drinks are spectacular along with the bar service. The staff had such flair and personality that we all felt in capable hands. I can't say enough about this restaurant, they really know how to keep people coming back! Cheers!
