A Wonderful Wedding Dinner

By MTSAMC |

We celebrated an amazing wedding at the Bellagio in December 2024, and had a dinner for 38 at Michael Mina. The service and food were exemplary. Most (if not all) of our guests said it was the finest meal they had ever experienced. We had their signature dishes: a beautiful fresh salad, lobster risotto, and entrees Sole, Miso Cod, and Filet Mignon, and finally a beautiful chocolate mousse dessert. The wine, champagne, cocktails, were all excellent. Truly, this was a superlative experience for all who attended, and the service was impeccable. I can't give enough praise to all of the staff. They made the best day of our lives, that much better. Many thanks to Justin Wolf, the GM for taking such good care of our guests and us.

SPECTACULAR !!

By P Kellach W |

There are just nothing but superlatives... the drinks are amazing (the creamy passion fruit/mango ditty I had at the beginning I can't recollect the exact name of was divine. The lobster pot pie my bro had and the scallops I had were some of the best seafood I have ever tasted. The service was spectacular... everything was just grand!!!

Pre theater dinner winner

By pcryan5 |

At $68 the pre theatre dinner offer is one of the best deals in Vegas. At times such offers result is tiny appetizer with iceberg lettuce somehow being involved, an entree suitable for a mouse and ice cream. And attitude from the staff. Not here. Beautiful room. Bight and open. (Nice renovation guys.) Flawless friendly service. We had a fabulous meal without a miss. The sole entree was the best I've ever had. My wife's filet of beef was perfect. Note - you do need to ask for the pre theatre menu as they do not provide it unless you do. But they are NOT huffy about it. Five stars - start to finish. Bravo Mina.

One star of poor experience

By Nadia A |

Here is you 1 star Michelin! The theater starts with the hanger. At the door two cheep looking hostesses asked us to wait ( for about 5 min) when finally set us down. There were only two things came fast in the whole three hours of us being at the restaurant: the water and the big check. An hour in we have not even had out starters yet.forget about chef’s complementaries as it usually happens in high cuisine restaurants. Good cuisine was spoiled by an exceptionally long wait and a poor service. Instead of offering us a sorbet to clear out pallets in between dishes, as it is suppose to be in high cuisine restaurant the Cheff sent us shrimp to apologizing for a wait…. After almost three hours we still were waiting for desert. I tried to get attention of our waiter who was right there talking to a colleague of his. Another waiter saw me looking and also tried to pay the waiter’s attention but in vain. He ended up coming to us himself and addressing our need. Unbelievable! Mr Mina would not put his name under the service like that!

Delicious Foodie Experience

By wanderlaulife |

Michael Mina was a delightful experience. I cannot gush enough how wonderful the service was. They asked if we had any time constraints, which we did not. In a group of 4, we ordered 2 of the signature tasting menu and 2 of the market fish tasting menu. It was an excellent suggestion from our server. The sommelier was knowledgeable and very kind. The food came out at perfect intervals. We were happily fed and thoroughly impressed by how fresh the food tasted. Everything tasted so good, it’s hard to pick a favorite dish. I especially loved the caviar parfait, grilled shellfish, phyllo-crusted sole, and the lobster pot pie. We had a great time all around.

Nice but overpriced

Return visit for Wife’s Birthday

By Shalley |

We had been to this restaurant a few years earlier for dinner and it was the most amazing experience. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding! I wanted to do something special for my Wife and thought, let’s head to Vegas and go for a special dinner. Right from the time we sat down, it seemed different. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood which really reflected in her service. We waited about 15 minutes just for her to take our drink order and it got worse from there. We had to continually look for her to get another drink and not once through the whole service did she even ask how we were enjoying our meal. We called the manager over and voiced our displeasure but he was not much better. He offered to pay for our desserts, but when the bill came, the desserts were on the bill! The food itself was fantastic, but the service was what ruined the experience for the two us and after spending $485. US on what was to be a special night, we left very disappointed and no longer consider this to be our favourite restaurant.

Superlative service and signature tasting menu

By GordonABQ |

We had an outstanding meal for our 33rd wedding anniversary. Our server Marcio provided the best service we have ever had at a restaurant (and we have been at 1, 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants worldwide). He was attentive (but not overly so), informative and gracious. We had Michael Mina's 6 course signature tasting menu which highlights several of his renowned dishes. We added the wine pairing which complimented the food very well.

Rick at the bar!!

By EPB1977 |

I was dining solo and had Rick as my bartender/server. He was amazing. Made me feel like a VIP. The lobster pot pie was to die for and the experience was perfect.

excellent

By Johnson5521 |

excellent in every way, unless you like a bargain. Maybe the best sole I've ever had, one of the best Negronis, and the service is impeccable. It's just not cheap, and not easy to get a table. I recommend being there when they open at 5 and dining at the bar. The bartenders are super - well everything is super.

BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN LAS VEGAS

By E4468HCjerryb |

We had heard about this restaurant, but had never been there until now. Everyone that visits Bellagio must visit the arboretum, and you will find this lovely restaurant, quietly tucked away next to it. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy and upscale. The food is outstanding. The sole was the best ever, and my wife loved the lamb ( but I have no idea why she ordered that at a seafood restaurant ). One of the real surprises was the complementary flatbread. It was served warm, seasoned with herbs, and came with three different types of remoulade to spread on it. We absolutely loved it and we can't remember enjoying bread so much. The service was very efficient and friendly but nonintrusive. I must congratulate GM Justin and asst. GM Sean for the warm atmosphere they have established here. Another high point was the sommelier, Eric, who chose the perfect wine to accompany our meal, and it was reasonably priced too! This was a birthday celebration, and at the table was a card signed by the staff, and we received a root beer float and warm chocolate cookie for dessert. I understand that previously was their signature dessert. It was unique and delightful, and we hope they bring it back. Needless to say, we will visit them again.

Excellent Seafood Restaurant

By TrueKCRoyalsFan |

This was our first time dining at Michael Mina. The restaurant is definitely tucked out of the way compared to others, but it’s a great find. It’s on the smaller side as well. We had the tuna tartare as an appetizer which has great flavor profiles. For dinner we had the swordfish and salmon. Once again, a great flavor profile. Dessert was the lemon which is like a lemon custard you could say. It’s a lighter and fresh dessert that is delicious. I would recommend Michael Mina to anybody for a nice dinner.

absolutely recommendable

By KSO1960 |

As always when we are at Bellagio, we go to Michael Mina's on the last night. This is now something of a tradition. And again this time , great and competent staff , excellent food and the value for money (albeit at a high level) fits as always. Especially the staff , whether at the table or the wine waiter , need not fear comparisons to 3 star restaurants in Germany.

Good service, average food for price

By 702lv |

Trying appetizers at a restaurant is a good way to decide if they are good at what they do. Since this was our first visit, we ordered the hot char-grilled shellfish "tower", the lobster gnocchi and the roasted foie gras to share. The foie Gras was good, both of the other dishes were disappointing. Gummy gnocchi with imaginary lobster and a skimpy shellfish platter for the price. Lobster was not even a tail...it was a small leg. We won't be back.

Excellent in all

By Savvas Samourakis |

Excellent food as usual Execellent service and the most possible professional Gm Justin. Always a pleasure dine there

Amazing Dinner

By nicehrladee |

Came here on a business dinner. It was a set menu, but it was amazing. We started with the Caviar Parfait, then we were served the Ahi Tuna Tartare. Next was the Lobster Pot Pie followed by my entree of Sole. We finished with a dessert of the chocolate bar & lemon meringue tart. It was probably one of the best meals I've ever had.

Amazing and Gracious Service, Wonderful Food

By Bri G |

I have to leave a review for how well we were treated given the extenuating circumstances of our visit. My husband and I planned a dinner at Michael Mina and were so excited to celebrate a lovely evening and a fantastic meal. We ordered a cocktail to start, and then each of the tasting menus, with caviar, and I with a wine pairing. We were treated exceptionally, and everything that we were served was divine. Our server, I believe named Yassim, was spectacular. However, before our second course, I began to feel dizzy and lightheaded. Pretty soon it became abundantly apparent that I was not well and needed to leave. My husband pulled our server and who we assume was the manager aside and told him that unfortunately, I was not well and needed to leave. We expected to foot the entire bill for this meal - after all, there was no way that the chefs weren't already plating/preparing our remaining courses, right? We ordered the meals, meals that were NOT cheap, and at least we should pay for the courses that were already prepared. We were told simply "don't worry about anything, just get her well". We even fought to pay SOMETHING - we ended up paying for our cocktails. In the age of COVID, we could have been treated like lepers, and yet everyone was kind and gracious and never made us feel as though we had done something wrong. Every employee of this restaurant was a class act, and we could not have been more grateful. One day, we'll be back to complete what we're sure was an AMAZING meal.

Great food experience.

By johntreerandall |

Finally got to Michael Mina's Bellagio location and well worth the wait. It was a fairly quiet night and a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the hotel. We started with the roasted Pate foix gras. Probably one of the best we have ever had. Totally melt in your mouth and plenty to share. Almost total silence as we savoured every mouthful. We had really come here for the lobster pot pie and were not let down at all. Scrumptious, and another dish good for sharing with loads of lobster. Very attentive service and not overpowering. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Disappointed

By Dr Dan |

Inexperienced waitress had “spotty” / “forgot us” service. “sommelier “!did not know her wines ( she hadn’t heard of Martinelli. We were “left out in Left field” ... manager did an “ok” job .... no return planned

Exceptional food, at exceptional prices

By WahooHoward |

Seafood focused restaurant in the Bellagio. Lovely room. We had the tasting menu, and many of the dishes were wonderful. Service timing was a bit off at times, either too slow or too fast between courses. Signature Lobster Pot Pie had great flavor, though could have used more lobster. Signature caviar appetizer was beautiful looking, but overly busy in terms of flavors. Overall, the food and service was generally exceptional, though at these price points I'm not sure it was worth it versus other options.

Average food for fine dining

By prd2bascorpio |

Compared to other Michelin star restaurants, food was average. Service was fantastic though! We had dinner and it took about 3 hours

Amazing tasting menu

By Beach Traveler |

My husband and I chose to splurge and try the tasting menu for our anniversary. We are so glad we did. This dinner will be a special memory for us for many years to come. The staff was kind and engaging and the food was spectacular. It was so good, it was impossible for either of us to pick our favorite bite.

Caviar dreams

By Mary S |

Just a wonderful treat to have the opportunity to enjoy at the bar a tasting of some delicious items. The caviar parfait was brilliant! Don’t miss it! Lovely Alicia was our bartender and she was a wonderful person.

Forever Luxurious

By Michael U |

A part of the Bellagio since opening, first as Aqua but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was as The Strip shuttered that eight guests sat down for a meal never to be forgotten and now with the Pandemic but a memory the Restaurant remains remarkable under the direction of Chef Raj Dixit. Always a special place, and on this particular evening again completely full, it was in the Private Dining Room that four friends were situated just past to 6:00pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen who opted to prepare a menu of pure opulence. Designed as an eight-course menu, with white glove treatment afforded to all in attendance, it was following a Champagne toast that the night started with Michael Mina’s timeless Caviar Parfait commanding attention from black Eggs to crispy Potato Cake with palates cleansed between bites by Belvedere Vodka. Delivering Mina’s housemade Laffa next, the first of many baskets complimented by a trio of Spreads, Shellfish comes as a tremendous display whether raw or char-grilled with Garlic, the White Truffle Butter on its side foreshadowing housemade Pasta blanketed with tableside shavings. Pairing each savory with Wine for those so inclined, Salmon given Thai treatment offered with Riesling, Duck with its Liver each arrived flawlessly cooked alongside a quartet of condiments ranging bitter to sweet. Not holding back with A5 Miyazaki Wagyu plated simply with classic Bordelaise, California Cabernet matching its richness, Dessert is always an all-in affair on this evening finding Michael’s famous Root Beer Float alongside “The Lemon,” Chocolate Mousse and silky Panna Cotta.

Las Vegas' best Seafood Restaurant continues to improve

By Michael U |

Originally known as Aqua, but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was behind The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens that five guests sat down for Dinner on Thursday, service led by Jorge Pagani once again faultless as the kitchen showed off a seasonal bounty. A former Michelin star recipient in the guide’s Las Vegas days, accolades that would have undoubtedly continued or received an upgrade with MICHAEL MINA’s 2018 shift towards market-fresh Seafood, it is under the watch of Executive Chef Nick Dugan that the kitchen has operated since Spring of this year, his time working with Bocuse d'Or Coach Gavin Kaysen in Minnesota apparent in plates that showcase great ingredients in complicated ways without seeming tedious or ‘fussy.’ Always a special place, though the recently-added lounge menu looks to offer guests a more casual way to experience some of Chef Dugan’s Food in the front, it was while a large party took place in the main dining room that Carte Blanche was requested by friends gathering cross-country, a Champagne toast starting things off and quickly followed by Michael Mina’s timeless Caviar Parfait. Cleansing the palate with an icy shot of Belvedere, and continuing on with an a la minute French 75 built around Hibiscus and Cucumbers, Mina’s Bread Basket once again proved tempting despite many courses to follow, soft Laffa excellent regardless of condiments and also well-utilized for sopping up Sauces or the remainder of Sweet Corn Gazpacho poured tableside of King Crab, Melon and Peppers. Impressed by Nick’s Pithivier in May, and finding equally splendid Pastry surrounding a Tomato Tart brightened by Bacon and Honey, it was with the linger of Truffles still present that two types of Foie Gras followed, the cold preparation matching Liver to Plums with textural toppings while a whole-roasted Lobe divided tableside wowed even those skeptical with the sweet and savory contrast of Peaches and roasting Juices perfumed by Truffles. Already a remarkable meal, though only at the midway point, guests were next treated to a new-signature in the form of triple-tiered Shellfish grilled with Japanese influence, the wrist-thick lengths of Crap and Dayboat Scallops standing out from pack while Lobster also shined here and as the centerpiece of Michael’s famous Pot Pie. Making the Pot Pie “Surf n’ Turf” by way of two 24oz Dry-Aged Rib Eyes, a cut of Meat that would stand out at any Steakhouse on the Strip, it was after leftovers were packed that Desserts from Vivian Chang took center stage, the seasonal Panna Cotta walking a tightrope of sweet and sour atop peerless textures while Chocolate Cake, a reworked Pineapple Parfait and Summer’s beautiful Honeycomb Pavlova all impressed the eye and mouth equally.

Dinner at Michael Mina

By richardgA474JY |

Every time we go to Las Vegas, we make a point of having dinner at Michael Mina, and we are never disappointed. The service, ambiance and cuisine are unparalleled. There are outstanding ala carte and tasting menu options. My wife is a great fan of the Vegetarian tasting menu, as it is unique and delicious. We also had the Coconut Soufflé for desert, and loved it.

Delicious seafood

By MauricioBabilonia |

This is an excellent seafood restaurant at the Bellagio. We had the tuna with foie gras and it was superb. Service was very good.

excellent date night

By maishanghai |

It is a small restaurant right behind the beautiful but extremely crowded conservatory in the Bellagio lobby. The food was excellent, the lobster pot pie was as advertised a signature dish, and the branzino was excellent as well. The service was excellent and attentive.

Disappointing

By sskarma |

My husband and I came here for his birthday expecting amazing food. We were disappointed. We paid around $500 for just an alright meal. We both had one of the set meals with the wine pairings. Dinner started out great with the beet pavlova but from then on was nothing special. The scallops and lobster were so overly spiced it wouldn’t matter what it was you were eating you wouldn’t be able to tell. The show of preparing the tuna tartare on your plate was very awkward especially when they only walked a foot from the kitchen to do it. The decor is very cold and uninviting as well. Overall I didn’t like this restaurant and I would not recommend it.

Old School Dining Still Alive & Well!

By Larry G |

Remember back in the day fine dining was all about getting dressed up, having a special cocktail before dinner and having waiters in suits taking care of you? Well those days still exist at Michael Mina. In fact, some of the staff are still here from when the Bellagio first opened in 1988, I am happy to say we had Greg who was most delightful. We started with cocktails, you must try the smokey Manhattan if you are into bourbon. The bartender actually uses smoke, covers the glass with a huge beaker and the smoke penetrates the drink. Greg brought the drink to the table, unleashed the beaker and suddenly the room smelled like a fireplace. It was most amazing for $38. The tuna tartare is the original recipe and prepared table side. Enough to share and one of the best. Jumbo fresh water white prawns are five to an order and a must have too. Bread service is homemade flatbread served with three different Mediterranean dips, so good. We had to try their signature lobster pot pie ($115) just because you only get to experience stuff like this every once in a while. Served table side, Greg removes the top flaky crust, puts it on the plate and then takes the filling and puts it on top. About two pounds of lobster and a rich combination of veggies. Over the top. We also had their fresh bronzino which was very good. So stuffed but had to try their signature chocolate dessert plate. Oooh-la-la. This is one of those restaurants that you know you are going to splurge but unlike so many others these days, this one is worth it. Nice calm environment, white table cloth service and if you ask for Greg, you are in for a treat.

Great 40th B-Day Celebration - Signature Tasting Menus & Wine Pairing

By IreJM |

Myself and wife ate here to celebrate my 40th birthday. We arrived at the restaurant and were brought to a fantastic table beside the window (I had booked this through the Concierge in the Bellagio and told them it was my 40th). Our waiter (who's name I do not remember) was possibly the best waiter I have ever come across anywhere in the world (I do not know how to articulate what made him so great)..... we both opted for the signature tasting menu and also for the caviar supplement. We also went for the wine pairing. The Caviar Parfait was delicious and worth the supplement (for us anyway) as it is something we have always wanted to try and we both loved it. The 'Tartare of Ahi Tuna' which is prepared table-side was just ok. It was nice but nothing in comparison to the caviar before it. We both thought it lacked a bit of a needed kick - a bit tasteless The Phyllo-Crusted Sole was superb, so lightly crusted, melted in your mouth - the portion was HUGE - not what you would expect with a tasting menu - no complaints here.... The Lobster Pot Pie was crazy-good (I am running out of superlatives for the food!). This was so good that you would ask for it on death row as your last meal. Again, great size with lots of lobster. The Wagyu Rib Eye with Foie Gras was out of this world - Again, I was surprised by the size of the portions here - with both the meat and the foie gras. The desert was delicious too and they brought out an extra dish for my birthday too. The bread was a type of Pita bread with hummous and other dips - really tasty but I was afraid to eat too much and fill up. We both agreed that this was the best meal have ever had in Vegas - we have never eaten in Joel Robuchon, L'Atelier or Guy Savoy or 'e, but we have eaten in most of the other leading restaurants in Vegas - it is miles ahead of Le Cirque, Picasso, SW, Prime, Lakeside, Bartolotta, etc. Cannot recommend highly enough

A fantastic dinning experience

By William H |

My wife had the halibut and I had the tasting selection which was the perfect blend of amazing flavors. The only problem I had was that the bread (before the meal) was so good that I ended up eating too much. ;-) That said, I am glad that the Bellagio is so big, where I was able to walk off the belly that I acquired. Additionally, I have to do a shoutout to Jessie our server, for the great job that he did.

A Dining Experience

By Kimo688889 |

This is a classy seafood restaurant which serves all of the faves including Branzino. We ordered cocktails and wife was surprised that olives for her Martini were $4. I made the mistake of ordering a Chardonnay and got a glass of Kistler for $42. I think the waiter should point out the price or leave the wine menu on the table. The food was great, the service great and the bill great.

Nice experience

By Paola A |

The decoration of the place is great and the food is a delicios mix of flavours! The service is really great.

Very good seafood spot in bellagio

By DrMikeinNJ |

Been to the bellagio many times for dinners, and decided to give Michael Mina a try. It’s located in the conservatory just outside the Bellagio lobby. Setting is fine, open floor plan, tables not too close together. Service was good, cocktail service was prompt. Decent drinks. Good wine list. Started with some oysters, which were excellent. Had tuna tartare which was prepared table side. Very good. For dinner we had the half portion snapper, half portion branzino, and phyllo-crusted sole. All were good, as expected, but for $78 for a half-portion fish, perhaps we expected a bit more “wow” factor either with presentation or flavor. Would definitely try again next time we are there.

Amazing meal, amazing staff, amazing experience.

By Riggers |

This place can be pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. Me and my girlfriend each had one of the tasting menus (about 5 or 6 courses each) and every single course was amazing. I've never had better food anywhere else, it was the nicest meal I've eaten. The staff are attentive and quite happy to explain items on the menu to you. The restaurant was quiet which was a good thing I think as it was a pleasant atmosphere. It is very expensive (our check came to $350.00) so obviously not an every week sort of restaurant, but great for a one-off or special occasion.

Amazing food, great service worth it!!

By deborahlynw |

Five stars, really enjoyed dinning there with friends, elegant without being 'stuffy'. Delicious menu, fantastic wine list too! Good sized portions.

Best Bartenders!

By andrewlN3317YW |

When you go to Micheal Mina’s the restaurant is great but you must stop by the bar or have dinner there!!! We would stop in after the pool and order most of the seafood dishes which were amazing!! We went back six times during our stay after the pool for Cocktails and Appetizers. On two different occasions the manager made accommodations for us throughout the resort. Overall a very well ran restaurant with great staff and amazing food!!

Rich and Dreamy

By GottaRun |

Looking for a place to treat clients to show your appreciation in Las Vegas? Special night for you and your sweetheart? Just going to the “O” Show and won big at the craps? Dine here! Our preferred table is one overlooking the Bellagio swimming pools, but once the meal begins, placement of the table becomes nonessential. Servers are polished, efficient and offer personality. Make sure you tell your server if you have tickets to the show. They will watch the clock for you. If you decide not to indulge in one of the tasting menus, order the lobster pot pie. Every bite is rich and dreamy.

Excellent food, Very Good Service

By DktrO |

High end pricing with excellent food. Service was fine but not outstanding. Had Clam Potato Chowder prepared at table side: A bowl with the solids was set down and the broth poured over it; interesting twist. Had grilled oysters and lobster. The oysters were too small but tasty. Something other tables had that I lusted for (too late) was the Lobster Pot Pie. I thought it would be the usual pot pie, but this pot was literally a four-quart pot with pie crust covering the top ($92). You might want to consider it; very impressive looking. Had Phyllo Crusted Sole that was perfection; highly recommended.

Just not worth it

By DStay3178 |

It seems like many of the restaurants at Bellagio can be hit or miss and we had a miss. The dress code that is listed on the website is more restrictive than a lot of Vegas restaurants (for example, no shorts) so we thought we were in for a special place. Instead, there were people in not only shorts, but t shirts and many kids running around. The general atmosphere has potential but the lack of enforcement means it may not live up to it on your visit. The food was good, but not the great you might expect for the price. The lobster pot pie is a signature dish which I wanted to try. I had seen that it could be around $100, but today’s (market?) price was $148. I was already there so I ordered it. Like everything else good to very good, but wouldn’t even think about getting it again (or really going back at all). The celebration we had listed on the reservation was acknowledged at check in, but nothing else was done for it. I would have even taken being put in what looked like a nicer room off to the side, but we were stuck next to some kids instead.

First time but not the last time

By Texaswinecouple |

First one and will be a return customer We each had the the two tasting menus with wine pairings and that was the best choice! Each course was paired perfectly with wine from their sommelier! From the caviar parfait to the root beer floats OMG perfection! Yes it is pricey but well worth it and the experience will be one you will remember forever!

If you don't want to have a conversation with you guests, this is the place for you

By J M |

My wife and I dined here during a recent stay at Bellagio. We had visited Michael Mina previously and knew the food would be excellent. It was, and the service was also very good. However, the ambiance of the place is a zero. The restaurant has been remodeled since we were here last with a very bad result. The single large dining room is very cramped with tables quite close together, a low ceiling, and is open to both the bar and the kitchen. The resulting level of noise on a busy evening is deafening. We were unable to have a normal conversation during dinner. The atmosphere is more like a very large bar at happy hour. We were very disappointed and will not return. There are several outstanding restaurants in the hotel. Try one of them.

A bit disappointing...

By Tanya Rae |

I ate here for the second time, with my husband. The seafood was great, but I ordered a ribeye medium temp and was given a rare New York Strip. I told the waiter right away, and was offered the steak I actually ordered, but I didn’t want to have to wait for a meal when my husband’s was already served. The steak quite honestly was too rare and chewy for my liking (I don’t like NY Strip), so I only ate a 4th of it max. I didn’t raise a huge fuss, but am sort of annoyed that we paid full price for a steak that I didn’t even order. I understand we were offered a new steak, and I also understand mistakes happen, but I think it’s also understandable why I did not want to wait for another steak to cook.

Fine dining at its best

By Kena D |

I went to Michael Mina for the lobster pot pie. It was the image on my room key during my stay at the Bellagio. It was very pricey at $88 but I LOVED IT!!!!! I cannot say enough about the meal and the service. I plan to eat at Michael Mina's again during my next visit to Vegas.

A little disappointing, it was nice but sadly didn't really meet our expectations.

By Tony B |

We recently managed to dine at Michael Mina in the Belagio. The service is attentive and efficient and the venue itself lovely and we'll located, but for such an expensive restaurant some aspects just didn't seem to meet our expectations. Having eaten in a number of Michelin star restaurants we had some thoughts as to what we could expect, I chose the taster menu which was admittedly rather nice, with my only adverse comment being that the lobster pie, needed more lobster. The Tuna starter was the star dish and my favourite. Unfortunately my wife chosen the scallop starter which was massively salty having been overseasoned, I tried some and it really left angling after taste which was a shame. We had a bottle of wine but wasn't told it was empty until we asked for more, not a massive issue but when spending $450+ you should expect the little details to be right. Finally when we requested the bill we were given the bill for another table. Other than the salty starter these are all finicky little things, but at that cost you should expect perfection and didn't leave feelings that had been the case.

Impeccable Experience

By Hardrocker8888 |

This was my first time having dinner here. I opted for the Signature Tasting Menu. And I loved it. It was a lot of food but I managed to eat it all except the dessert. I took the dessert back to the room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They explained each dish as it was presented. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.

Talented young Chefs and the same great service keep Mina amongst Las Vegas' very best

By Michael U |

Originally known as Aqua, but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was behind The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens that five guests sat down for Dinner on Saturday, service led by Jorge Pagani once again faultless as the kitchen showed off a seasonal bounty. A former Michelin star recipient in the guide’s Las Vegas days, accolades that would have undoubtedly continued or received an upgrade with MICHAEL MINA’s 2018 shift towards market-fresh Seafood, it is from the hands of Executive Chef Nick Dugan that spring is expressed a la carte or via tasting menu, each featuring several new items in addition to Chef Mina’s classics. A large yet serene space, natural lighting prominent at 6:00pm before slowly being replaced by the soft-glow of chandeliers, it was from familiar servers that Dinner started with complimentary Champagne, Mina’s own Cuvee soon joined by an Amuse of Spring Pea Soup served cold atop textural elements including Horseradish Panna Cotta and tiny Gulf Shrimp. Next offered the first of two Bread baskets, Mina’s Laffa and trio of Spreads appropriately light to avoid filling up but simultaneously compelling enough to overeat, it was with shots of iced Belvedere poured that Michael Mina’s Caviar Parfait was presented, layers of Caviar, Salmon and Crème Fraiche luxurious as ever atop a crisp Latke and deviled Eggs. Continuing with a tower of Market List raw preparations, the tiered service an elegant touch and throwback to Mina’s early trios, those seeking to dine light cannot go wrong with Hamachi or Snapper that carefully balance heat and acid, though the star comes by way of sliced Squid carefully dressed in Miso and smoky Urfa with brightness added by Yuzu. Unaware of Chef Dugan’s recent history with Gavin Kaysen until later, the Bocuse d’Or Head Coach employing Nick as his Chef de Cuisine at Bellecour for nearly two years, it is in retrospect that dishes including grilled Octopus with Onions and Belgian White Asparagus fortified by Truffles and Bottarga stand out even more prominently, each boldly expressing the season but never losing focus despite implementing several strong flavors. Not about to forget Duck Liver, the first of two styles offering a creamy Torchon ready for spreading on Brioche with various forms of Rhubarb, it was continuing on to richer dishes that Chef Dugan presented housemade Gnudi with Oregon Morels and Lobster from Maine, fresh Favas adding freshness while Butter and a bit of Wine tie it all together. Describing the next dish as “Chef Nick’s signature,” something that if not already a fact will soon be, it is much like Josh Smith’s Beef Wellington at BARDOT Brasserie that Spanish Turbot comes surrounded by Pastry, a layer of Shrimp Mousse keeping flesh moist while Scallop-infused Peppercorn Sauce does well to compliment but not overwhelm the Flatfish’s subtleties. Briefly veering off-menu for a surprise, Mina’s iconic whole lobe of Foie roasted and served with Cabbage and a Brussels Sprout-Kale hybrid, it was in follow-up that two whole Fish were presented tableside, scale-on Sea Bass standing up well against vibrant Chermoula and Olives while broiled Snapper carried Indian Butter Chicken as its inspiration atop a bed of Rice perfumed by Onions and Spices. Smart to save room for Dessert, Pastry Chef Vivian Chang’s move from Waldorf Astoria to The Mina Group displaying her talent to its largest audience since opening Yardbird, it was on three as-yet unreleased choices that guests were left to indulge, the “Chocolate Mina Cake” spinning Red Velvet by separating Chocolate and Beets without excessive sweetness while a Pineapple Parfait and the reinvention of Chef Mina’s Root Beer Float are textural masterpieces that look gorgeous and eat light.

Michael Mina, Las Vegas

By richardgA474JY |

On our most recent trip to Las Vegas,we had the pleasure of dining at Michael Mina at the Bellagio. I cannot say enough to express how wonderful our experience was. The food was amazing, coupled with service that was phenomenal. Our waiter was attentive to our every need, and could not have been nicer. The general manager checked in with us during the meal as well and was also genuinely concerned about making sure everything was perfect— and it was! We will certainly be back on our next trip to Las Vegas, and would recommend this exceptionally fine restaurant to anyone.

Lackluster experience and peculiar service

By Gierus1 |

We joined for pre-theatre menu—many uncharged including for amuse bouche! Dinner was fine, but sommelier brought wine if a vintage other than on list and did not bring this to my attention until I pointed it out to her, whereupon she offered the excuse that they were out of one and we’re substituting later vintage at same price. Odd. At the end, bill arrived, with a $22 glass of wine in the tab — we didn’t have that. Waiter corrected bill, but no apology. For $600 for 3 people, go elsewhere in Las Vegas! I recommend Catch at the Aria. Half the price, much better good and service!

Wonderful restaurant

Michael Mina is definitely a great choice! Staff is extremely helpful, knows the menu, and can answer any question you may have in regards to the food. Wine list is superb!

One of my top 10 meals ever...

By 357glennj |

One of my top 10 meals ever. Started with their Red Skies Cocktail, one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. If you like Bourbon you are doing yourself a disservice if you are in Vegas and you don’t go try it. Started with their Signature Tuna Tartare Appetizer - it was amazing, the pine nuts and spices really set it off and the Tuna was the best you can get. Generous portion too... Followed with the Signature Phyllo-Crusted Sole with a mustard beurre blanc sauce. I don’t often rave about Sole but I can see why it is a Signature dish. Very light flavorful and scrumptious. I would go back just for that dish. Service is impeccable as is the food and atmosphere. When we lived in San Francisco Michael Mina’s was always one of our top 3 favorites. His Vegas restaurant is equal to his original one. If you want a real treat go there, it is not cheap but it is one of the best dining experiences in North America, treat yourself...

Outstanding dinner at Michael Mina

By apianoman |

Everything about my experience at Michael Mina was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and top notch in their professionalism. Decor and room were lovely. But the star, as it should be, is the food. I had the classic tasting menu with wine pairing, and replaced the lobster pot pie with gnocchi due a preference to avoid lobster. Everything was outstanding. I added the caviar parfait to start, and that was well worth the cost for the experience. I highly recommend Michael Mina at the Bellagio for fine dining when in Las Vegas. I will return.

Mothers Day Brunch Wins The Day

By BurrItsCold |

Our fifth visit brought joy to a humbled couple from Whitehorse Yukon 🇨🇦 Mother’s Day Brunch was a huge success. The unlimited Momoas and Bloody Mary’s rained down on our table. The kitchen was bustling like a steam locomotive, everyone moving at high frequency and precision. The atmosphere was wonderful. Service was attentive but not intrusive - thank you Paul. You were personable and endeared yourself to us. Food quality was stellar and continues to be unmatched - thank you Chef Dixit!!! Ambiance was lovely - quick paced but not rushed. Each Mom received a care package and bouquet of flowers 💐 very thoughtful and on point. Justin, Carla and Eric - always a pleasure to see you and catch up. The conversations always meaningful and heart felt. All three of you have impacted our lives - integrity, professionalism, and above all else care. 🌹 Once again magic 🪄 was achieved.

Great food, but the price is insane!

By Catie P |

The food was delicious. There’s no question about that. I’m here on a business trip so I was by myself. I did the tasting menu, and everything was very good, but I have to say that I can only give this a three star because the price was ridiculous. For me as one person, the tasting menu and two alcoholic drinks was $350 with the tip. And I feel like for that price, the amuse Bouche included!!! It was not, and in fact, it was an extra like $60. Very extraordinarily priced even for casino restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful dinner and don't miss the lobster pot pie

By Jack R |

Wonderful service, fabulous food and the lobster pot pie is terrific. We have had the lobster pot pie before at Michael Mina's restaurant in Dana Point and it was just as good here at the Bellagio. My suggestion would be, since it is so large, order one and share it with someone. One item that is no longer on the menu but can be ordered is their root beer float. A lady next to us ordered one and she said it was great. Enjoy!

what a waste

By william H |

possibly the most overhyped ripoff I’ve ever experienced. Why? Because service was non-existent. How about 35 minutes to get served a drink? $60 for a burnt piece of fish. $28 for a little piece of hummus w toast? You’re better off giving your dollars to strippers or one of multitudes of homeless in Vegas than spending it here!

Best. Dinner. Ever.

By Dora A |

We came here with a small group of colleagues for a conference and could not have been more thankful that we did. Our head server, Marcio,is the one who made our dining experience one of the best we’ve ever experienced. His personal narrative, passion for food, and belief in the chef’s vision for each meal made this dinner stand out from our entire trip. Based on his recommendations, we tried a wide variety of foods that were not only cooked to perfection, but paced appropriately. We were never rushed and never waited too long between servings. We look forward to visiting again when we are back in town!

Plenty of better places, don’t waste your time or money.

By mendozafamily2017 |

Let’s start with what wasn’t good. We had a table of eight. Four of us ordered steak, two NY strips and two filets. At this price point I would have expected it to be cooked to order and no complaints. I realize this is a seafood place but they should be able to cook a steak. Of the four of us no one enjoyed the steak. I will speak to mine. It was ordered medium and arrived well done. It was tough, lacked flavor. Complete disappointment. Ordered the asparagus with it. That was fair but it was five spears for $19 along with the $76 steak disappointment. Would have sent it back but someone had already sent back a seafood plate that they found dry and not appetizing. I didn’t even finish it. The waiter was great until the food was brought around. He never asked if it was cooked correctly. Not that you would have to ask. One look at a brown steak with no red or pink present is pretty obvious. Others in the group said the mash potatoes were really good and most like the complimentary bread. We stopped here for a very nice dinner before a show and the Bellagio and it was extremely disappointing when it came to the meal. Especially for the price. I wouldn’t even come back for a second try. To end on a high note, the atmosphere was very nice and other than not returning to check after the food arrived, the server was very nice.

VERY expensive but great food and service

By Victoria L |

My husband and I decided to splurge and go to Michael Mina's. I had the Pre-theater menu at $68.00, and it was very good. My husband wanted a steak, which cost $72.00 and didn't come with anything...just a big piece of meat with tiny garnish. He also had a first course, and we had cocktails. Our bill was almost $300.00. I have to say that the food was delicious, and the service was amazing. I think we had about five people helping us. I was afraid to take a sip of water because a water guy would come by and fill it up again. We knew going in that our bill was going to be high, so we were okay with everything, but it wouldn't be something we would do again. It was sort of like going to Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland. You do it once for a splurge, but you don't plan to do it again, unless you happen to be wealthy, which we are not.

Michael Mina is THE chef in Las Vegas...wonderful place

By Jack R |

We always visit Michael Mina's restaurant each time we visit Las Vegas. Incredible service, great staff and the food is phenomenal. Lobster pot pie is the top and their faux gras is amazing. Thank you again for another fantastic evening.

The dinner that never was

By Mcbub8 |

I was really excited for my anniversary dinner- I was a Michael Mina fan until tonight- his hostess couldn’t train Lassie to come home- she goes to seats us - walks us to a lovely table- then moves us?? I’m confused- from a large chair To an uncomfortable chair- when I asked - she said you can’t eat in dinning room with shorts - mind you not gym shorts or cut offs but $75,designer shorts?? So I said I’d prefer to sit with the comfortable chair- imagine I’m going to spend $160 pp avg and dismissed me- so I sat down and decided to go to lago- which was crowded and this restaurants was empty- the atmosphere like hostess’s stunk- ty for ruining my anniversary dinner

Rough start but redeemed at end of night

By Grandiosa98 |

It took about 30 minutes before we got our order in. We told waiter that we had a show and if he thought we would have enough time for tasting menu. He said no problem, but he totally underestimated the time. About 15 minutes before show two of us left just after 3rd course. We were so mad, however, they did comp us the final courses at the end. In fact, they asked us to come back after the show, which was after the closing time, to pick up our last two courses to go. This was a nice touch and helped me believe in good customer service again.

Best meal we had in vegas

By Glennr08 |

Took my wife for her birthday, we went two four top restaurants. This was the best for space, service and food. Go here book so you are not disappointed.

A Masterpiece meal!!

By TK26_12 |

One of our favourite restaurants in Las Vegas for that special night out. We were seated at a terrific table looking out at the Bellagio swimming pools. Our server was very polished & efficient, went over the menu in detail with us & explained the tasting menus. There was both Mina's signature menu & also a special summer fish only tasting menu for a little more $. We knew ahead of time we would do the signature tasting menu with wine pairing as the food is always incredible. This night was no exception. I started with the caviar parfait, an extra $18 and worth every penny. My wife is not a caviar fan but tasted it & said she could make a meal if it. That good! The ahi tuna tartare was Nextel, seasoned to perfection with scotch bonnet oil & pine nuts highlighting the incredibly fresh tuna. Next came the incredibly lightly fried diver sole, a melt in your mouth piece of fish. Then the star of the show, chef Mina's signature lobster pot pie. You could easily walk into the restaurant, order only this dish & leave as satisfied as you have ever been. Perfectly cooked large pieces of lobster in a creamy concoction of fresh vegetable inside a super flaky puff pastry. Decadence at its best, so rich & filling but you can't dare leave any on your plate. If the dinner ended right there, it would get 5 stars but next up was a perfectly cooked piece of wagyu ribeye on a bed of spinach. Incredible! We could not eat a morsel more & then came out the chocolate bar dessert. Light yet elegant, we had to tap out half way through. Each course was paired perfectly with a wine and both wine & food were explained with just amount of detail to really give you an appreciation for what you were experiencing. A final select sherry was brought to us in celebration of our anniversary, very delicious end to the meal & a classy touch. This is not a meal, it's a masterpiece restaurant by one of the best chefs in the world hands down. The price is not for the faint of heart with a cheque that easily reached over $600 for two with tip, but if you are going to indulge & risk spending that much on a meal, you won't go wrong with Michael Mina at the Bellagio. Enjoy!

Scrumptous Dinner

By Amadeus 88 |

After trying several of the fine dining at the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas we decided to try out Michael Mina because of his seafood specialty. My wife loves seafood I am not a big fan. I must say I had the best seafood at Michael Mina. The Tuna Aihi, Octopus and the lobster pot pie were so good it left us in tears. The aroma from the lobster pot pie was incredible. We will definitely be back for the degustation menu next time.

Decent but not outstanding.

By Merbear47 |

Decent but not outstanding. Ordered salad with peaches first and foie gras. No complaints there. Salad was a little boring. Mains were japanese sea bass in a coconut curry and phyllo sole. My mistake was ordering a very rich first course and a rich fish dish. Pros: portions are large, dessert was very good and inventive Cons: bread came at the same time as our first courses so we really didn’t get a chance to enjoy both. The herbed naan-like bread came with hummus, olive tapenade and another savoury dip. Root beer float and pineapple or mango desserts were exceptional. I felt a little snubbed in the service department as a single woman came into the restaurant and was served very promptly, and received first courses before we did, which I found rather snotty. I felt the waiter kind of was straining to be friendly. We left feeling as if we spent too much money for alright but not outstanding foid or service. Also Bellagio really needs to update the menu because we were really excited to try the corn gazpacho but alas not on the menu.

Awesome food, ambience, service!

By Gonny E |

We had an amazing dinner experience here. 2 couples, abundant food choices, superb staff and great atmosphere! The sole was out of this world; tuna was scrumptious as well.

Not really all that

By Hans T |

Went to Michael Mina's last week for a dinner, having heard that it was just over the top good, well it makes me question the people who had referred it to me. The food was OK but not great, had the fish tasting menu, some of which were over prepared (to much breading/seasoning) some were cooked to be more 'fish jerky' than flaky. To say the least I was unimpressed.

Exceptional meal and service.

By gourmandmobile |

The restaurant is visually beautiful. It is light, open and airy and the atmoshpere is relaxed and polished. The service was excellent from the wait staff to the sommelier. Everyone was attentive without being intrusive. The dishes were visually beautiful and absolutely delicious without being overly complicated. Definitely recommend.

INCREDIBLE! A must Las Vegas dining experience.

Michael Mina's restaurant in the Bellagio was FANTASTIC! The service was outstanding and the food incredible. Thanks to all the staff, especially Marisi, Eric and Sean.

Jesse & Alex Deliver!

By Jerard77 |

My wife and I enjoyed sensational food here last week. It was sooooo good we ate dinner here three times. We enjoyed the Cavier Parfait, Little Gem Salad, Tuna Tartare, Foie Gras, Phyllo - Crusted Petrale Sole, Steak, and several desserts. We enjoyed most of these items multiple times. Jesse served us on the first and third evenings and Alex on the second evening. The food and service were tremendous. With over 4,300 restaurants in Las Vegas to choose from, we chose Michael Mina three times. That speaks for itself as to how good it is!

Excellent

By Cass B |

This was really a spectacular meal. The lobster pot pie is fantastic! On the pricy side but overall great experience

Amazing dinner experience!

By MomJopp |

My husband and I had the tasting menu and ordered different dishes in every category, so we basically tried the entire menu. We are foodies and have eaten all over the world, and this is one of the best dinners we have ever had! Every dish was creative, beautifully prepared, and was fresh and absolutely delicious. Our server, Jamie, was so very personable and enjoyable, and made the evening that much more special. He also made sure we were finished in time to get to our 7:00 show. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Awesome meal!

By Babalu |

Wanted a great meal to celebrate a birthday but didn't want to break the bank either so we were lucky to choose Michael Mina's Pre-Theater fixed prixe menu for $70, with an extra $32 upgrade for the decadent lobster pot pie. Service was exceptional, always pleasant and professional. The food was even better! Everything was top notch but the ricotta gnudi and lobster pot pie really stood out.

Michael Mina Las Vegas - The most memorable experience of our lives!

By Pedro |

The best experience of our lives! If you are visiting Las Vegas, YOU MUST, and I repeat, YOU MUST have dinner at Michael Mina. We just left dinner tonight at Michael Mina for my wife’s 40th birthday and it was the most memorable experience of our lives. We travel a lot all over the world, we have dined at many fine dinning restaurants, but none better than Michael Mina. From the very second we were greeted, the service, attention, food, and experience was in a class of it own. We have dined at incredible restaurants, but none more incredible than Michael Mina. We have stayed at incredible hotel, but none have compared to the service we experienced at Michael Mina. We are so grateful to the incredible team of Michael Mina for creating an experience that we will never forget, one that is on a level beyond all else.

Better Than Ever

By SMS777 |

We had dinner here last night for our 34th anniversary. I'm so glad that this amazing restaurant is back open from covid, and it's clearly running on all cylinders -- better than ever. Food - 10 out of 10 - presentation; flavors; each of the five courses caused my wife & me to pause and look wide-eyed at each other after the first bite or two; simply off the charts. Atmosphere - 10 out of 10 - what a beautiful dining room, with a level of ambiance that's lacking in so many restaurants, even those that are highly rated; classy, but not stuffy or pretentious. Service - 12 out of 10 - we eat regularly at Michelin-starred restaurants here and in Europe, and it truly doesn't get any better than this; of particular mention was our head waiter, Patrick, who made sure our 34th was a special evening.

Wonderful service Average food

By carmen m |

Came for supper for our anniversary with high expectations, we were disappointed. The service was exceptional, no problems there. Unfortunately our food fell flat. I ordered a tasting seafood dish which had shrimp, crab, lobster, and mussels. My husband had steak and mashed potatoes. Everything was average, the seafood and steak were disappointing. We have had better at red lobster. Maybe because we were at the east coast this year the seafood tasted so blah? The steak was just ok as were the potatoes, the Keg us definitely better. Not a meal that was worth $380 with 1 side and 2 alchohol dtinks. ( tip in) would definitely never go back.

Wonderful dinner

By Mmarymomm |

As a special treat for our son we dined at Michael Mina’s. We had the signature tasting menu which we have had before. Although several of the dishes were the same we were pleased to see that since our last visit seven years ago they had added a delicious beet pavlova as an amuse bouche and a fish course. Also they had cut down on the number/variety of desserts which fit our palates perfectly. Along with the excellent amuse bouche there was a caviar stack, tuna tartare, a filo encrusted fish with a brandade, the signature lobster pot pie, and Kobe beef with foie gras. It was all wonderful. The wine pairings made great sense with the food. The service was impeccable, friendly but not in your face. I recommend sitting in the back room where it is quiet and you can easily hold a conversation. All in all a memorable meal for all of us.

SPECTACULAR

By doug100worth |

A+ restaurant. Expensive & worth it. I had a lobster pot pie that was gorgeous and terrific. Dale had lobster rissoto. Three grandchildren had different fish or fish & steak dishes. All were terrific. Yum

Fantastic food and service

By gourmandmobile |

One of the best food experiences I have had in Las Vegas. Service was professional and polished. Selected the tasting menu and it was exquisite. Every course was beautifully plated and well seasoned. The lobster pot pie was rich and decadent. The portions are very generous and you will leave satiated.

Best place in Vegas to eat

By Christopher W |

The service is absolutely amazing! You need to make a reservation this is the best place in Vegas to eat so book ahead. The food is nothing short of heavenly. The staff are spot on to meet your needs. Tara is a classic that brings me back as well as the caviar parfait with Belvedere vodka. The steaks are always tender and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Las Vegas, and you don’t eat here, you truly have never been to Las Vegas.

Excellent Food, Experience Okay

By Diver-Hiker |

We dined on a Thursday night without reservations, and were seating promptly. We were in the mood for a great seafood experience. We began with cocktails. We understand they are expensive in such a fine dining establishment ($15 Cosmo,$18 Sapphire Martini); however we were a bit dismayed with the $4 upcharge for the blue cheese olives for the martini. We both got the oysters (4) for $24 each. Flavor was excellent, though we both had one with crunch (grit) that makes for an unpleasant experience. They should absolutely have more skill in preparation/cleaning. I had the half portion of John Dory which was excellent (enough for two to share), and she had the Foie Gras appetizer which was delicious. We each had a glass of Kistler Chardonnay which was exceptional ($36/glass). Service was very good. Total check including gratuity was $316. Would have been more if my wife had an entree. Enjoyable, but disappointment in the olive upcharge.

EXCELLENT

By mark48tennis |

Great food, excellent service and a contemporary setting make Michael Mina in Las Vegas a must go-to place for a fine dining experience. The menu leans towards seafood, though there are several options for meat lovers. Our party started with the caviar parfait, and for entrees we had the salmon and sole, and both seafood dishes were excellent. Dessert was a strawberry souffle. Food was well prepared, and was served hot-not lukewarm as some restaurants. If you want a special experience, I recommend going to Michael Mina.

Michael Mina, Wonderful experience with the "tasting menu"

By masherm2 |

My husband and I enjoyed Michael Mina. He had the lamb chops and said it was fabulous! I tried their "Tasting Menu" and it was also the same. My favorite from that menu was 3 things...the scallops in cream sauce, the prime rib (best I have ever eaten, anywhere) and the spinach on potato. I was not a fan of the lobster pie, so I am thankful it was just a sampling menu as I though to order only that at first. The dessert that arrived at the end was also fantastic! We also had the best people serving us!

Wonderful dining spot in Las Vegas

By abs |

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Michael Mina at the Bellagio. We dined at the bar and the two bartenders were superb - professional, knowledgeable & great conversationalists. Food & service were excellent.

Great Experience!

By Nicholas B |

We booked in here for the pre-theatre menu and were so pleased with the experience. The menu consisted of three courses for $68 a head. It also didn’t feel rushed which sometimes can occur with the early pre-theatre scenario. Service was friendly and polished from start to end. I requested for an alternate dessert choice from the fixed menu and it was handled without issue. One particular highlight was the female sommelier who assisted us. She was unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak to. I can’t recall her name completely, but maybe Soni or something similar - apologies for most liking getting that wrong. All food choices were well enjoyed and you could see a lot of care and effort had been taken. The serving sizes were actually quite large, I was definitely full when leaving. It was an interesting wine list as well, with some affordable offerings. The restaurant has a very calm and tranquil aesthetic too. Great night all round, made even easier by staying at the Bellagio. Thanks!

Not what I expected

By Hans T |

Went here for a combined birthday for my mother and I. Having heard so much good stuff about the restaurant and wanting to try something new we went and had the prix fix menu. My mother had the fish menu, of the 5 courses only 1 was really palatable. I had the other menu, while it was better, it was not worth the cost.

On our last evening at the Bellagio, we ate at Michael Mina. The best decision. The staff were great, very well-trained waiters, friendly and unobtrusive. Since we couldn't decide, we ordered the menu. It was really good. Everything was perfect, everything was fresh and delicious. An absolute recommendation. We'll be back.

I would give it a 6 if I could

By 11SJ987 |

My wife and I went to Las Vegas for a long weekend, and had dinner before a show at Michael Mina. They have a 3 course menu for dinner before a 7:00 show with a good assortment of choices. I had ahi tuna tartare as an appetizer, really good, and my wife enjoyed her salad. She had a filet of sole that was expertly prepared and beautifully plated. I had a specialty of the house, lobster pot pie. It was served at the table, actually made in a saucepan, with 2 pounds of lobster. Really delicious. Desserts were light, just perfect to end the meal, and the service couldn't have been better. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Just Love this Place

By Bonnie J |

This was our 4th time back and reach visit exceeds the last. Dishes are both creative and delicious. They have changed their menu and put their focus on Market fish - they’ve done it well! I had unquestionably the beat Foie Gras I’ve ever had. Salads are fresh and wonderful. We shared the Arctic Char which was more than the two of us could eat. Our server was Lee and his knowledge enhanced our evening. Highly recommend

Elegance Personalized

By Yuri Vanetik |

The tasting menu is the way to go. We paired it with wine and the pouring was generous. The elevated wine pairing was cool and the wines were rare and eclectic. The service was amazing and the Somm was smart and super charismatic without trying. Everything was over the top - well executed and not overwhelming. There was elegance and harmony. The decor is clean and balanced. This is the best of the best.

Amazing food shame about the service

By delacourt |

Our table had been booked 3 weeks in advance and we had email confirmation that yet they struggled to find it. The main restaurant appears to be in the back as the tables were set with white linen, the tables at the front seemed more casual. As our reservation wasn’t found straight away they asked if we would like to sit in a booth which were mainly set for 2/3 people, we were a party of 4! A table was laid in the back by the window and we were seated. We decided on the tasting menu and it was not an issue to change one course for one of our party as she does not like raw tuna. The portions were massive not tasting plates, we all started to struggle! The food was amazing though - very tasty. Service was slow, most course and wine were not explained, used dishes were left on the table, wine glasses were filled from the left not the right. Towards the end of the meal all the servers were more interested in setting up other tables rather than clearing ours. We had the accompanying wine flight which were good choices. I do think it was good value even with the less than expected service!

Sublime, Superb - Sensational ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

By BurrItsCold |

We contacted Justin W. Wolf the General Manager extraordinaire for a Sunday night dinner event for two. Our experience succeeded in supplanted our previous visits. LV has many restaurants and dining establishments. Michael Mina’s is a cultural anomaly, insert superlatives here. Justin assured us that “they” would be ready to meet us and ready they were. The culinary gauntlet was meticulously orchestrated as soon as we entered. The warmth of each staff member greeting us was emotionally felt and absorbed. The sentiment was heartfelt, we both commented on how deeply touched we were. The corner table with the majestic Bellagio Pools as a backdrop was from another world. This was a most unusual and splendid place. Theatrical in nature, removed from the outside world we meet the essential Carla. She, with the mischievous smile and bewitching eyes knows how to spin a storyline. Carla has more than earned her stellar reputation as conductor. She does as she states…”surprises and changes” We chose wisely with the Chef Dixit and Michael Mina’s tasting menu and wine pairing. The second act provided the sophistication and wry humour of our Sommelier Eric Davison. He is ours, we don’t share! We see Justin making his way over to our table, checking with other patrons effortlessly. Justin has the knowing eyes of someone who can measure the sense and purpose of each table left in his charge. The meal was unforgettable as it has always been. Fresh, seasoned, served and presented especially for us. A few surprises from Justin and from Carla that will stay an unspoken. Pictures, stories and laughter. Three hours and 30 minutes of fun and Purrfect bites.

Good Food, Poor Service and Poor Customer Relations

By Kate S |

We dined with a reservation. Our initial server was attentive and then someone else replaced him. They had asked if we were on any time constraints and we informed them that we had a show to see. An hour and a half into dining, we felt like we had been forgotten. We were sitting near the host stand where plenty of employees were standing around. No one checked on us and we were done eating, just waiting to ask for our check and leave. Thirty minutes later we had to get up and ask someone to bring us our check. Another ten minutes go by and we received our check. We were not able to go to our show as we had to go to another hotel and were told they locked the doors so far into the show. We reached out to Michael Mina restaurant at Bellagio. Nearly two weeks later we received an impersonal email asking us to to let them know when we would be back so they can ensure we have better service. Not worth it. They failed in my book. Too many other restaurants to enjoy. Instead we ended up wasting $600 between the show tickets and our meal.

Absolute Perfection from beginning to end!

By Sophie |

Michael Mina is an absolute culinary genius! We have been to his flagship Michelin starred restaurant in San Francisco which was divine and wanted to try this one in Vegas. This experience was so amazing that I won’t have enough adjectives to describe it. Walking in, I was struck by how beautiful the space is. Very light and elegant. We both ordered the pre-theater menu (only available the 45 minutes they are open). They serve a Mediterranean flat bread with homemade hummus, olive tapenade and a yogurt sauce. Absolutely delicious! We both started with the lobster gnudi with truffle sauce which was amazing. Husband had the Filet of Beef which was good but the standout was Michael’s famous Lobster Pot Pie. I actually gasped when they brought the copper pot to the table. I thought, they were going to just serve me a portion but I got the entire pot. It was the best lobster dish I have ever had! I will come back to Vegas to eat this dish! Be prepared to drop some money for it though. Not cheap but it really is an unforgettable dish. We finished with pineapple granita (so good) and the lemon tart. It was my birthday so I received an additional chocolate cake with a candle. The wine pairing was spot on, the staff was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and parings. Service was exemplary and the food splendid.

Simple Elegant Dining

By M P |

Unlike many of the fine dining locations in Vegas, Michael Mina maintains the calm quiet environment that should be part of a meal of this calibre. The food was sumptuous, the service was continuous without being overbearing, and the sommelier provided good support for the wine choices we were making without being either pushy or elitist.

SEAFOOD CORNUCOPIA

By baird t |

Located in the swanky Bellagio Hotel, just off the gorgeous indoor botanical gardens, this is a dining experience to rank with the hotel's philosophy of excellence and opulence. Passing an ice display of all the sea creatures available on the evening.....the dining area is pleasant but nothing extraordinary but spacious overlooking the back terraces. The menu is filled with all manner of creative treatments. And it's not just sea food. There's a tasting menu paired with wines, there's a pre-theater menu and vegetarian menu. We went straight off the ala carte faire, choosing the appetizer ahi tuna tartare dressed with mint, pine nuts, scotch bonnet and sesame oil. Delicious. Different. Sizable enough for two----easily. With so much to choose on the entree menu including Chef Michae's Lobster Pot Pie , we chose instead to go the "ICE COLD" for two which is shell fish on a two tier silver server packed full with oysters, crab, king crab, sea urchins, lobster and prawns. All freshly flown in from both coasts. Here is where Mina's signature term "Refined Coasta Cuisine" is front and center. Each and every item: on point. The server took time (but not too much time) to explain the medley and answer any questions. The three sauces on the side were each perfect for whichever morcel was being sampled. The clear but savory was a touch of perfection for oysters, prawns, and the Alaskan king crab. We did not finish it, but gave it a good go. There's plenty for two. Plenty. We took our time. The waiters stayed nearby but only once checked to see if we wanted more of anything. Full bar. Great Wine List. The dessert menu looked promising but there was no room for anything. The rest of the menu runs the gamut from fois to whole fish cooked as you wish. The caviar selection is good, better, best. Pricy yes. Powerful culinary experience Absolutely.

Always a special place, and quiet mid-summer, it was at a familiar table that five guests were situated just past to 6:00pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen who opted to prepare a menu of pure opulence. Delivering Mina’s housemade Laffa next, the first of two baskets complimented by a trio of Spreads, Hamachi arrives next with Peruvian inspiration preceding faultless Foie Gras with seasonal accompaniments alongside warm Brioche. Next revealing tender Gnocchi under a cloche before a liberal shaving of Australian Truffles, the fragrance better than most, semi-sweet Riesling proved well-suited to “Fish n’ Chips” utilizing Black Cod followed by a perfectly cooked piece of Duck with crackling Skin. Not holding back with triple-seared A5 Kagoshima Wagyu plated simply with classic Bordelaise, or the Prime Filet Rossini at its side, Dessert is always an all-in affair on this evening finding Michael’s famous Root Beer Float alongside “The Lemon,” Chocolate Mousse, Mango Sunset and a Souffle standing tall.

Great Food and Busy Place

By Kimo688889 |

I love visiting this restaurant if I am staying at Bellagio and get to walk through the Conservatory and its fresh flowers. We had a bit of a wait at check in but it is a busy place on a Saturday night. I saw them refuse a table to a group of 8 men wearing shorts and tees. Good. We had the Foie Gras app, salad, and both had the Branzino, which seems to be the new fish de jour. Karla did a good job. Great table service from the bread and water guys. I will always attend this place if staying at the hotel. Even got a free glass of bubbly for our anniversary.

Incredible food and a stellar team!! A Must Visit when in Vegas!

By Mgmecu99 |

Michael Mina at the Bellagio is now on our regular very short list of Must Visit restaurants whenever we are in town, several times a year. It obviously starts with the food (heavenly Caviar Parfait, melt in your mouth Ahi Tuna Tartare, and the Lobster Pot Pie is worth every mouthwatering calorie), but beyond the food, it is the staff that brings the experience to the next level. We were lucky enough to have been seated in Yassin’s section on our first visit (a few years ago, at this point). Now we request him with every reservation. He’s so professional, gracious and friendly (and, we just found out that he shares my birthday - how cool is that??). We always enjoy our meal that much more because of him! And Yas is just the start! Chef Raj commonly comes out to chat with us when he can! Kevin and Justin (managers) also swing through to check on things. And we know there are countless others whose names we don’t know who execute all aspects of the dining experience flawlessly. From the greeters at the door who seat you, to the bartenders who make the yummiest cocktails, to the kitchen staff perfecting the gorgeous and tasty dishes we eat, to the sommeliers who know their wine, and the countless others who refill your water, replace your silverware, and serve your food - what a spectacular team! Everyone is so warm and hospitable, something that is not always at the forefront of high-end restaurants. If you’re in Vegas, make some time to enjoy an amazing meal with a stellar team of people!

Great service but portion sizes are small for the cost

By Sue C |

Eh, just okay. The prices are ridiculously expensive, especially for the portion sizes. Lobster pot pie for $88?! I was excited about coming here but quickly realized it's so gimmicky that it lost its luster. I will say the service at both the bar and the table were spectacular, so there's that and added an extra star above. Scallops were seared perfectly, octopus grilled lightly and had lots of flavor and the king crab cold was delicious and fresh, but so damn small a serving for the price. Drinks cost a fortune too. Whatever happened to inexpensive Vegas? I see why people love it, the restaurant that is, as you can get things here you can't elsewhere. But for me I'd rather spend my $40 and go to the extensive buffet at Bellagio where I can eat all the king crab I'd like. For the prices they're charging I just expected more ambiance and just wasn't all that thrilled with the restaurant. It just didn't do a thing for me...

Pleasure on a Plate!

By keithmJ6744FW |

Lovely place to dine for a great evening! The staff was very friendly and helpful in food/beverage choices! We had the "Lobster Pot Pie" and it was fabulous! The lobster was fresh and tasty with the nice gravy and vegetables. The deserts listings were great. We split the tart and it was a great choice - tangy and sweet rolled into one! Nice wine selection and great atmosphere but not over the top! To all at the Michael Mina at the Bellagio - Well Done!

Service not up to par, food good

By Gierus1 |

Expecting excellence at Bellagio's Michael Mina, we were disappointed with sommelier bringing a vintage different from what was on the wine list and not pointing it out until called to her attention...not sure if she was a sommelier. Had to ask for decanting. Error on bill was not caught by waiter, had to bring to his attention, no apology. Food was very nice, but lobster in the shepherd's pie was a bit rubbery. Pleasant, calm environment and soothing decor. For $600 for a party of 3, there are better restaurants in Las Vegas

Good quality

By Sanda |

The service is attentive and superb. We went for pre-theatre menu and loved it. One of the best steaks in USA

Impeccable dinner..!!

By jk7ng |

We had dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic.. the food could not have been better and the service was seamless.. highly recommended..

Poor service!

By Susan W |

Yes, the Food was amazing but, when your food is delivered by staff and the waiter is never back to follow up at all, that’s inexcusable. It was clear that our table of two was much less important than the other tables of men who were obviously high rollers and well attended. Disappointing that at these prices you must ask the water man for your waiter after you are finished and plates sitting for at least 30 minutes after we finished eating. The manager came over with an apology and gave us a credit on our glasses of wine. I hope our experience is an isolated issue.

Fantastic from start to end!

By vicky r |

Firstly, make a reservation that way you won't be disappointed if you can't get in, this place is so worth it! We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing, all the dishes and wine choices were hands down amazing! The only negative thing I can say about our experience here was the pretentious ladies that were seated beside us that kept making comments to each other about how much wine we were having lol! First off we are less than 3 feet away from you and can hear you and secondly we don't care! The service was fantastic we were never left waiting, needing or wanting anything! Thank you for a great dining experience!!!

Vegas

By JackNelson |

Was recommended to go for the lobster pot pie. Did so, and was not disappointed. The theatre around the serving of the pot pie was worth an applause. It really set off a great meal. The service was second to none and the attention to surpassing customer expectations was duly noted. Other establishments could take a leaf out of the the way Michael Mina at Bellagio staff treat their customers. Can not recommend enough. Do not miss the opportunity.

Pricey but Great dining experience for a special occasion

By Debbie C |

Great experience but Rated it a 4 because the Caesar Salad was wilted and just ok. The sole entree was superb. As was the swordfish. Side veggies perfectly cooked and enough for 4. Cocktails very expensive. Would definitely revisit for a special occasion.

Oh my! Very special!

By lonestartraveler3 |

This is always a “must dine “ when we visit Vegas! The lobster pot pie is my very favorite-and this visit had two pounds of lobster in it- only leftovers were some bites of potato! Not being a glutton- just skip lunch and enjoy this pie- beautiful crust, delicious sauce, wonderful presentation tableside. The Mr had fish prepared in clay pot which he declared was truly delicious but he didn’t love the side selection. We were rushed because of show tickets and the servers were kind enough to accommodate us even though the restaurant is normally a more leisurely dining experience. We love this place and return every visit to Vegas!

Awesome Food, Drink and Service!

By Denise C |

My sister and I had an awesome experience at this restaurant. We were there on a Wednesday evening. I have a business card with his name on it because I said I wanted to provide my compliments. Nevertheless, the waiter was ever so helpful making suggestions, based on the descriptions of various tastes on cocktails, wines, and food. He hit it out of the park every time. On top of that, he was attentive at just the right degree and very professional, kind, and considerate. We also appreciated the attention he was giving to a gentleman who was sitting alone at a table nearby. We just had a lovely experience before going to the theater to see “O.” The food and drink were outstanding.

Eat here. You WILL NOT be sorry.

By Haley and Levi |

We will definitely be back and this was the best meal we've ever had. Seriously. Our server and every single person on staff made our experience special and memorable. We are so grateful for everything! Next time, we definitely want to try the lobster pot pie. GET THE SOUFFLÉ. The amuse-bouche and bread with all the sauces was absolutely delicious. We had the octopus appetizer and the phyllo-crusted sole. We also ordered the duck breast and it was PERFECTION. I don’t even like duck and it was incredible. The chocolate soufflé and coffee was exceptional. Seriously, EAT HERE. You WILL NOT be sorry. We will definitely be back.

Better by the day

By Michael U |

Opened with the Bellagio as Aqua, but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was behind the recently updated Conservatory & Botanical Gardens that eight guests sat down for Dinner on Saturday, service overseen by Jorge Pagani once again faultless as the kitchen led by Chef Dugan showed off its newest seasonal creations. Always a special place, and on this particular evening booked to capacity during one of The Strip’s busiest weekends, it was at the dining room’s center that friends new and old were situated just prior to 6:30pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen with one diner fluidly accommodated for religious dietary restrictions. Requesting no Michael Mina classics on this particular evening, and thus started off with a Falafel Canape brightened by Za’atar, it was after explanation of the night’s first Wine Pairing that house Laffa Bread was offered alongside three Crudo, the Japanese Uni brilliantly balancing Salt and Citrus with light florals while tangy Sumac acted as a foil to Red Onion served atop line-caught Trout. Texturing the Urchin with Breadcrumbs and Fish with Phyllo, while allowing tender Scallops to stand on their own against Orange segments plus Buttermilk, course two attested to the global influences that have emerged ever since Chef Dugan took over, a traditional Duck Liver Torchon perfectly smooth at the center of Grains and Seeds with Coffee dust and spicy Mole playing remarkably well off one another. Cleverly using Pastry Chef Chang’s Concha as Bread service for the Foie, a coat of crackling Sugar refreshing the palate between bites, it was by way of Maple Syrup that the kitchen brightened Pastry filled and surrounded by roasted Squash, a dollop of Mascarpone smoothing things out and crumbled Bacon easily left off for those dining with restrictions. Frequently offering a Pasta course, Autumn replacing Gnudi with hand-cut Spaghetti swimming in Ocean-kissed Butter beneath tongues of Uni, it was as guests swooned that Nick raised the bar further with a generous plate of Rice liberally topped with shaved White Truffles from Alba. A former Michelin star recipient in the red book’s Las Vegas days, accolades that would have assuredly continued or received an upgrade if the guide had stuck around, the penultimate savory consisted of individually portioned Turbot with Huckleberries and Fish Roe, yet good as it was the flavors were merely a fleeting memory once seared Liver and Scallops arrived on the same plate, deftly tied together by earthy Mushrooms, Turnips and Salsify. Lighter than recent meals at MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, a blessing for those who’ve previously waived the white flag prior to Dessert, it was beginning with individual Panna Cotta that Pastry Chef Vivian Chang’s talents took center stage, her Valrhona Chocolate Cake next riffing Red Velvet by separating Chocolate and Beets without a lot of Sugar while the reinvention of Chef Mina’s Root Beer Float is as delightful to eat as it is to look at, though for an eight-top one Cookie was certainly not enough. FIVE STARS: Following its 2018 reinvention MICHAEL MINA Restaurant took a big step forward, and with Chefs Nick Dugan and Vivian Chang now overseeing the Kitchen and Pastry program, respectively, the Restaurant continues to get better and better with each seasonal update.

New Chef Raj Dixit contiues a proud tradition

By Michael U |

It was shortly before The Strip shuttered that eight guests sat down for a true celebration, and sixteen months later the Restaurant remains remarkable under the direction of General Manager Jorge Pagani plus new Chef Raj Dixit. Always a special place, and on this particular evening again completely full, it was at the dining room’s center that novices and long time fans were situated just prior to 6:00pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen with one diner gracefully accommodated for religious dietary restrictions. Designed as a ten-course menu, with white glove treatment afforded to all in attendance, it was following a Champagne toast that the night started with Michael Mina’s timeless Caviar Parfait commanding attention from black Eggs to crispy Potato Cake with palates cleansed between bites by Grey Goose Vodka. Delivering Mina’s housemade Laffa next, the first of many baskets complimented by a trio of Spreads, shared Crudos have been replaced by individually plated Amberjack topped in fried Artichokes plus Acid with a follow-up of Octopus Salad finding the Cephalopod tender with just a bit of snap. Smart to maintain a Seafood focus, the closing of Wynn’s Costa di Mare further tilting the scales in favor of Michael Mina Restaurant’s bounty, Crispy Spot Prawns show a Thai influence while Moules Marinières see a sailor’s Stew bettered by Saffron and the “World’s Best” Butter. Never leaving Michael Mina Restaurant without Foie Gras, Chef Dixit’s version spanning all parts of the palate, it was following tender Potato Dumplings and King Crab that Chef Mina’s Pot Pie was plated tableside complete with a generous shaving of Australian Black Truffles. Wrapping savories with more luxury, Japanese A5 Wagyu with Truffles and Béarnaise perhaps the height of opulence, Dessert consisted of stacked Peach Melba featuring locally sourced Fruit, intense Raspberry Sorbet and fragrant Sauternes Consommé imbued with Elderflower.

Caution to those on a low sodium diet

By Robert H |

The service is superb, the ambiance outstanding, but a caution to those on a low sodium diet. Everything from the pre-entree bread, to the appetizer, to the main fish course was salted to the max. Tasty, fresh, but very salty.

Signature Menu

By daikin |

WeI got the signature tasting menu and the seasonal tasting menu. Our waitress described then as "dueling menus" and although that may be a little stretch, it was very cool to compare his traditional menu with his more modern takes. Overall I preferred the signature menu on most dishes, especially the caviar and the tartare, but the veal on the seasonal is one of the best things I have ever tasted.

Epic Culinary Experience

By dreamteampr |

We came in with high expectations, and Michael Mina did not disappoint. The tasting menu was out of this world! Will be back.

Exceptional Food and Great Service

By kenhub100 |

I have dined several hundred times in Las Vegas and mostly in the Bellagio Hotel. Michael Mina,s restaurant located just behind the lobby is consistently one of the finest restaurants I have experienced in Las Vegas. The lobster pot pie, prepared at your at your table, is divine. The dover sole, a signature dish, is exceptional and very sweet and flakey. Michael Mina is a culinary experience that visitors to Las Vegas should experience.

Skip this place!

By Susan |

Excellent service but food was not what we expected. Ordered the sole which was wrapped in phyllo dough on top of mashed potatoes. It was described to us as a very light dough and quite delicious. It was more dough than fish. For $64.00 each (as we both ordered the sole) we expected a much better meal. Lacked flavor and mostly tasted the crunchy phyllo dough. Very few diners on a Friday night. We should have realized there was a reason for that and gone somewhere else. We won’t be going back. Too many other great restaurants in Vegas to try.

Extraordinary food and service bit also at high prices

By George S |

Whatever compliments I say for this restaurant it won't be enough. Whether you choose the tasting menu or the regular one you are in for a treat. All the food is sublime, cooked to perfection and served with a great attention to details. You will have 5 or 6 waiters watching over your table and making sure you got all that you need. The wine list is very impressive too, their cellar hosting more than a thousand different bottles. Everything that we tasted was exceptional but the Tuna tartar, the Waguy beef and the lobster pot pie were out of this world. The only not so good thing is the hefty bill, but if you get what you pay for it is more than justified

Fabulous food!

By cjs65 |

We had a quick early dinner before a show and they accommodated us perfectly. Carla was our server and she was superb. Very professional and helped us navigate things promptly. The food was amazing! The wine was great as well and we got in and out in a timely fashion and made it to our show. We would certainly come back!

Great Nachos

By janD3162QJ |

Had a fantastic meal of Nachos here, was gorgeous! Great service, friendly staff. Definitely a nice place.

Great experience!

By Cristina |

Service and food was excellent! I strongly recommend chief speciality’s- tartare and lobster pie! After first dinner inevitably was the second! Best choice for a romantic and elegant night during your stay at Bellagio!

Surprisingly mediocre

By Rhopkins4734 |

I wrote very few bad reviews. I don't like doing it. Maybe this one will either wake someone up at MM's or save someone from a very expensive and disappointing meal. First off, the drinks and service are 5 star. The wait staff is attentive, pleasant, and very well informed. The drinks, most of our group had only one or two, were spot on. The big let down was the food. Two of us had the $128 sampler of their specialties, one also ordered the wine pairing which he judged to be very good. Two ordered the lobster pot pie. One ordered the New York strip. I had the seven course sampler. I would say that maybe one course was good, not great. The rest were simply something to try while you waited hopefully on the next course. It never exceeded two stars. The lobster pot pie was especially disappointing. It literally tasted like an old, frozen, tasteless pot pie. The steak, which is often the redeemer in a bad meal, simply showed up and didn't perform. The meal, including tip, for the five of us was an even $1,000. I think I would have rather had a salad, which was delicious, and lost the rest at roulette.

IMPECCABLE service and amazing food!!!

By Billy Shoemaker |

I am a casino host so I have been to many high end restaurants but have never experienced this level of service along with the delicious food and unique drinks! Their sommelier was incredibly knowledgable and our server Marcio was super cool and gave us all great insight on what to order and was on point with literally everything. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this joint :)

Excellent food, great atmosphere and exceptional service

By mark48tennis |

The room is contemporary and fits the restaurant nicely and the manager Shelly makes you feel like a welcomed guest. Our server was attentive and well versed on the various dishes explaining each in appropriate detail. The appetizers, heirloom tomato tartare and sweet corn gazphaco were tasty. Our entrees of fresh fish, snapper and halibut, were equally tasty and well portioned. Save room for dessert as you will not be disappointed!

A classy place!

By beehappy2day |

A lunch for about 80+ and it was handled so beautifully. It was as if it was a group of 4. The food was beautiful - if you can say that about food. And it was delicious. The staff was attentive and the way their kitchen produced such a great meal was a joy to watch.

Excellent! Beautiful room, calming, wonderful service and delicious food.

By Harley 1966 |

Just superb - loved the service, ambiance and food. Will definitely go back. Loved the pita bread with tapas to start. The steak was much better than Prime Steakhouse. Fish was lovely.

Spectacular seafood

By 0gazza0 |

The restaurant has an exclusive feel right from the start. The service is amazing, the waiter team are made up of many separate roles (from a wine expert, a server, table water server, and a maitre-d). There are fish on show that you can pick from and are able to waste the wine to help you pair with your main choices. Rather than go for individual meals I would recommend getting a large sharing platter between two.

Pricy but good food

By Lijger |

Very nice setting in the Bellagio hotel. We had the tasting menu. The food was great, but a bit pricy. It was my friend's birthday and he got a special dessert for the occasion. When we visited the restaurant, there was also a big group (20-30 ppl) having a party there so the restaurant was a bit loud. Only downside for us was the waiter: he practically never looked at my friend and only talked to me. He wasn't really a help in picking the wine. As we didn't know the taste of the menu and we did not want pairing wines, we would hope he would give us some inside info, but he did not. Everything we picked (menu, starter, wine ...) was an "excellent choice"... Every time we finished our plate, he was there right away and wanted to clean everything as soon as possible. That gave us a bit of a stressy feeling. All in all: the food was good, so our night was good!

Best Meal I have ever had - TWICE!

By Stephanie E |

This was our second time to Michael Mina and it definitely did not disappoint. The first time we went, we had the signature tasting menu with wine pairing. It was unbelievably good and was the best mean my husband and I have ever had. This past trip, we decided to stick to the main menu. We started with the Ricotta Gnudi w/main lobster and it was so creamy and delicious. Then I got the Dry-aged NY strip with crispy Idaho potato cake. It was the best NY Strip I have ever had. Again, it was the best meal ever. I highly recommend the tasting menu - if you get the chance but I guarantee everything is so delicious, you will not be disapointed!

Super seafood

By voyager5017 |

Worth the hype - a great place that delivers on the seafood front in spades. We had a tasting menu that simply was divine - obviously the lobster pot pie deserves a mention although my personal favorite was a sole in phyllo pastry! Fantastic

Really Mediocre

By CRI B |

Really don't like write bad reviews, but this restaurant definitely worth one. Starting from the beginning, we book a table for 6.30pm for a pretheater dinner. As soon as we arrive we were escorted to our table and we order a bottle of wine and water. While listening at the suggestion of the menu, we ask if the pretheater option was available as we book for that and the waiter answer they stop serve it at 6.15 even if they advertise 6.30 as the website is not updated... anyway we had enough time till the show so we choose from the menu a selection of their suggested dishes and some that we liked from the menu. One in particular was the wrapped striped seabass, the waiter told me it was really a bad choice and definitely the worst option in the menu... I was speechless, never happened to sit at a michelin starred restaurant and listen something like that. I asked to give the order as per my choice and let me judge, than we ask the manager to move us to another area of the restaurant with a new waiter, This to avoid compromise further the dinner, a food experience is not only about taste and ingredients but also ambience, service and feelings. The rest of the dinner was enjoyable. The sea urchine were good and also the tuna tartare, less impressive the lobster and the sole. The seabass was not wonderful but definitely not so bad as described from their staff. We took a bottle of sancerre and one of puy fumee and both were ok, well served at right temperature. No amuse bouche and petit patisserie, actually neither a small chocolate with the cofee... For a 600$ bill in two I must tell is a NO MORE Service, even if after become decent after the table exchange, is definitely not even average. Food is good, but not outstanding. Some dishes are nice and ingredients well picked, but if atmosphere is wrong average dish become terrible and good food become average. I definitely not recommend this place, and definitely not worth a michelin star.

Best Fine Dining in Vegas

By Joseph |

Michael Mina’s is the best Fine Dining experience I’ve ever had in Vegas. Probably anywhere. Patrick our server was top notch and was very attentive. He was super knowledgeable about the Menu. Kevan also helped us make our dinner selection choices. We had the Salmon, the Lobster Gnocchi and the Lobster Pot Pie. Oh my god the flavor and the taste! Best Seafood I have ever had. The desserts for my wife’s birthday were amazing and so well presented. From start to finish it was the best Fine Dining experience I’ve ever had. Thank you so much to Kevan and Patrick and the Staff for making my wife’s birthday dinner so amazing!

THIS IS THE REAL DEFINITION OF FINE DINING

By E4468HCjerryb |

We ate here before and said is was the best tasting menu we had ever experienced. We came back to explore the rest of the menu. Glad we did. We loved the caviar parfait (which is like nothing we have ever had before), coconut shrimp, sole, and filet mignon. One of the really special things about dining there is the dining experience. We were greeted by the smiling Lucy and welcomed by several employees on the way to our seat. Eric, the sommelier, always has a perfect wine to match for our meal. Just ask him, Our table server, Marteen, was always there with a smile. Another server, Arleni, always served with a smile too. Our waiter, Marcio, knows absolutely everything about every dish. The general manager, Justin, was always in the background to make sure everything ran flawlessly. And it always did. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated. We were able to eat leisurely, and never felt rushed. As we left, we were thanked and wished a good evening by several more employees. This was truly a fine dining experience. !!!

Looking for fine dining, you found it!

By wayne m |

We couldnt get in the first day, so reservations are required. But the wait was well worth it.. Atmosphere was very nice and the service was far better then excellent. Food allegeies were a concern but the CHIEF was unconcerned with difficulties and served some dishes that were amazing. We returned two nights later to experience a repeat of first. Tremendous,..

Great food, excellent service

By Helmut |

Michael Mina does not disappoint. Every dish was delicious. The dressing on the grilled octopus was just right for the cut, the salmon perfectly cooked and the dessert absolutely delicious. Service is extremely attentive and friendly and the space nice. I only wish they had no TVs ... Prices were pretty good given that it is Las Vegas. Definitely worth going.

Hands down best dinner ever!

By seeker of quick lunches |

We had the tasting menu with: caviar, sea bass, lobster pot pie and more! Very pricy, but worth every penny! Dessert was fab!

Marvelous Dinner at Michael Mina

By David B |

We recently had one of the best dinners in memory at Michael Mina at Bellagio. We had a nice dinner there one New Year's Eve some years ago and wanted to try them again. As other reviewers have noted, it is a pleasure to walk through the beautiful displays in the Bellagio Conservatory on the way to the restaurant. We were seated promptly (we had a reservation), greeted warmly by the main waiter, treated to a service that was professional and efficient throughout the meal, and presented food that was uniformly delicious with ample portions. Although a fair number of people, including some large groups, showed up during our time there, the noise level was fine and we had a lot of quiet moments at a secluded table. We particularly enjoyed the ahi tuna tartare as a starter and the very generous signature lobster pot pie for a main course. We look forward to experiencing the fine dining there again in the future.

Start to Finish Excellent

By amytK2791MP |

We were so pleased with our recent evening at Michael Mina. The experience was excellent start to finish. This is a well-orchestrated and functioning dining room. Staff move around the room each with a specific function and purpose and make it look easy. Our server was uber-professional but also approachable. The food was top notch. We enjoyed their signature dishes: the sole and lobster pot pie. Ultimately we could have just shared the lobster pot pie (now priced at $94) and still left perfectly full, but the sole dish was special in its own right. The presentation of the lobster pot pie is impressive. It is decadent as wonderful as you would hope it to be. We also shared a starter and dessert. We each had a glass of wine. All in we were $300 for the meal with tip. So glad we made the decision to spend a special evening at Michael Mina.

Excellent

By mark48tennis |

Great food, excellent service, and nice ambiance. The Michael Mina at Bellagio specializes in fish dishes, though you can have steak also. The fish dishes are prepared a variety of ways and depending on your fish choice, each way is unique. I highly recommend the red snapper, grilled, and my wife had the spanish turbot which was equally delicious. Both fish dishes were excellently prepared, and the portion for one person is ample. As a starter, we had the grilled octopus, but I found it to be a bit tough, perhaps overcooked slightly. The chocolate bar for dessert went well with the 12 year old scotch.

An experience one should not miss.

By DrC33 |

Michael Mina is a hidden gem tucked behind the incredible Bellagio gardens . My favourite travel partner (mom) and I were starving. By great luck, there was room at Michael Mina for dinner - not having made reservations. The service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and made sure our dishes were brought out quickly. The menu items were all enticing. We each had the gnocchi and lobster appetizer and were extremely pleased. The dish was a layered treasure of gnocci, lobster, and fresh corn. The lobster pieces were succulent. I had the fois gras entree and must say it was the best fois gras dish I have ever had. Fois gras is my go to item when dining out at upscale restaurants. The complimentary items on the dish were very well thought out. In general, everything we ate, including the bread and side dishes, was very fresh and brilliantly prepared. Perhaps what is so memorable is that we weren't expecting to eat here and came upon this unforgettable culinary experience by chance. I cannot recommend Michael Mina enough.

Great Diner

Excellent service and food. Plenty of fish options. Fresh tasting. Service is impeccable. Worth the money

A Happy Anniversary!

By FitTravellerLasVegas |

We chose Michael Mina for our 19th Anniversary celebration. We have eaten here on numerous other times, including birthdays & “just because,” but tonight was special. Our history with Michael Mina goes back to our third anniversary in San Francisco when we first dined at Aqua. When we arrived tonight, there was a lovely note from the staff welcoming us and wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Then, as we were perusing the menu, we were offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine! 🥂 Our fabulous waiter, Marcio, took care of our every need. We ordered the Signature Tasting Menu with the additional caviar parfait (it’s a celebration!) The service was well-paced, the food and wine pairings were spectacular and Marcio’s service was impeccable. He explained the food and the wine perfectly.

Haute Cuisine

Michael Mina is surrounded by the beautiful picturesque gardens of the Bellagio Hotel. That sets the stage! The restaurant is also beautiful. The service is very attentive and professional. The food is superb. I recommend the Branzini in the Mediterranean style. Portions are big and sumptuous. As you might expect this all comes at a pricey cost (particularly the price of cocktails!) All in all it is a night to remember.

The Class and Elegance You Expect, At a Price

By doctorbobster |

If you have experience with high-end multi-course dinners with wine pairings, Michael Mina will not let you down. If you have not had the experience, MM offers a great introduction, albeit on the pricey side. With limited time before our 8pm show, we selected the "Pre-Theater" dinner menu, priced at about $65/person with the $35 wine pairing. While I loved my selection of courses (culminating in a beef tenderloin cooked a perfect rare), the fish entree was deemed "good" by my dinner partner. The wine pairings were effective, especially the 2011 Bordeaux from the Margaux region for my beef. The effervescent dessert Moscato was also a great choice. The setting and service were perfect: attentive without fawning. If you are looking for a high-end experience, MM is tough to beat.

THE BEST TASTING MENU EVER !!

By E4468HCjerryb |

We had been to this restaurant on several occasions, and always loved it. This time we decided to try the signature tasting menu. We have tried tasting menus before, and there is always at least one of the items we didn't"t like. This one was different. We absolutely loved each and every course, and looked forward to the next one.. Marcio was the perfect waiter, who knew every detail about each course. Eric, the sommelier, picked the perfect wine to accompany this feast. The general manager, Justin and his assistant, Sean, were always in the background making sure that everything worked perfectly, and it did. Even the first time we were there we felt very comfortable and had a warm feeling about this place. We will be back again soon.

A really great dinner experience.

Booked for New Year's Eve, it was a great evening. The service was excellent and the food was on point. They were very accommodating with my wife's dietary restriction and she was quite happy with her food. Highly recommend trying it at least once when in Vegas. The wagyu rib eye was perfect in every way. The Lobster pot pie was amazing. You can't go wrong with any of the menu!

Fresh, delicious, and creative!! 😋😋

The interior decor is attractive and more formal. Business casual! I found the staff to be friendly, very attentive, and professional!! My complaints!!! The menu has an appetizing diverse selection. The prices are more high end. The seafoods I tried were very fresh!! I had three different dishes for dinner. The presentation was beautiful. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients were so very fresh. They were perfectly prepared and full of flavors. I liked the attention to the different textures as well in each bite. Such a pleasure to the senses. The bar has great seating for a solo person. It was an excellent dining experience and enjoyed!! Recommend reservations.

Overhyped, overrated and overpriced

Went for my brothers 70 birthday meal. Wanted it to be special, but alas just an ok meal. Restaurant lacks any atmosphere an overall No wow factor that one would expect at this price point. Much better options in Vegas.

SuperWiie pairing with the dining

We stayed at the Bellagio four night and tried Picasso and PRETROSSIAN and Michael Mina and loved them all. We took the gastronomic dinner to compare. The service was also excellent and the Wine List also excellent We will not come back to the Bellagio casino because of the smokers

Great Food Especially If You Have Great Dental Insurance

By Robert B |

The food is often hazardous. The sommelier is amazing. The Crispy Kona Blue Prawn was phenomenal paired with a wonderful glass of Viognier. They brought out some bread that was delicious, but the focaccia was served with a branch of rosemary that could cause dental injuries. The Muscovy Duck /breast & Foie Gras was an amazingly rich course served with a brilliantly selected Brunello di Montalcino. However, there was a side dish of rice with a cherry in it. I wanted to enjoy the cherry, but there was a huge cherry pit that was terribly painful when I bit into it. It is so terrible to see such amazing craftmanship in the kitchen diminished by such amateur mistakes. I would never recommend this restaurant to my friends, unless they have great dental insurance. I did congratulate the sommelier on his amazing wine parings in spite of the kitchen hazards.

Great, with one exception

By Daniel W |

The service, the Servers, the Sommelier and wine selections were all great. My only "gripe" would be the amount of time it took to complete our meal. While I never want to be rushed when fine-dining, I also don't want to have to wait almost 2-hours to get my main course then have to literally shovel it into my mouth, ask for the check as the food is served and end the meal in a rabid hurry. My two coworkers and I showed up 3-hours prior to our reservation, sat at the bar and had drinks for almost an hour, then were sat at our table at 5 mins prior to our reservation time (7:30pm). I made this reservation time because we had tickets to a show at 9:30pm in the same hotel, so I figured a 2-hour timeline would be sufficient. After being seated the remainder of the meal was wonderful but we noticed that the kitchen's timing was a little slower than most high-end restaurants but we just bided our time. However, as 9pm came and went, and we still didn't have our main courses, I finally had to ask our Server to ask the kitchen to "rush" our meal so we could make our show on time. Then, to complete our meal, the Server brought 2 of 3 meals to the table and I asked for the check at the same time. We ate fast, still waiting on the 3rd entree to show up but anxious to not miss the start of our show. When the 3rd entree showed up it was consumed rapidly as I paid the check and we gathered our things, walking away from our table exactly 2-hours after we had been seated. All in all if you have no timeline at all to meet, if you have time to just sit for several hours, then I highly recommend. As in most Vegas hotels, everything is over-priced, with wines appearing to be at about a 300% - 400% upcharge, but you pay for the experience and convenience.

$$$$ Return visit 5 years later

By Kim J |

Our first visit was 5 years ago, I have to say it was a better experience then; however if I had not been here before then i might move it up to a 5! We did the 2 tasting menus 5 years ago (seasonal and signature) and shared. The server explained the dishes more thoroughly the first time as well as the wine pairing. We did get some explanation this time, just not quite as much information. This time the signature menu had changed (one of favourites was not on it but still on the regular menu) Our server asked how everything was and we let him know that the black cod should be back on the signature and remove one of the other dishes (not the sole - that was fantastic!) I had the seafood tasting, the hot grill (shrimp were not fully cleaned and were overcooked. Lobster was perfect. Hubby's lobster pot pie, lobster was a little rubbery (was not last visit) steak was amazing. Desserts are fabulous. Wine pairings, I have managed to hunt down the 2 wines (just lovely) I really liked that were paired. I would go again, but probably would order a la carte, miso black cod and the sole

Unexpected perfection

By John M |

We go to Vegas a fair bit and have eaten at many of the “go to” spots around the strip. We had yet to try this one and reluctantly gave it a go. Wife and I were both blown away. We did tasting menu and every single course blew us away. Standouts were philo crusted sole and caviar parfait. Also wine pairings we perfect and can highly recommend the drink red sky’s at night. We will back every trip. The best meal we have had in uears

Wanted it to be great, but, alas, it wasn’t

By MApropism |

We’d been looking forward to dinner at Michael Mina at Bellagio for quite some time; in fact, over the course of our many stays at the hotel, we had somehow never tried this particular restaurant, so we were ready for something spectacular. In the end, we got food that was merely good and service that left us feeling largely ignored and insignificant—even an afterthought. Things started off well enough. We were seated, menus were offered, cocktails were ordered, etc.; indeed, it seemed a good experience was on its way. Then, it became clear that the only time we were really spoken to was when a course was delivered. No one seemed to care how the meal was going, just that the next dish was in front of us. We were just a table of two, and there was some sort of group in the room behind the bar. It became abundantly clear that the group was an all-hands-on-deck situation, leaving us to feel like a bother. Even the delivery of the bill was rather offhand. As to the food, it was good. The seared foil gras and lobster pot pie were standouts, to be sure, but the John Dory was awash in too many spices to allow the fish to stand on its own merits. The turkey dinner was fine, and the pumpkin cake was nicely presented. We would need a good bit of convincing to give the restaurant another try.

Exceptional!!!

By DGardJr |

Visited the Bellagio for a conference. While I didn’t really get out of the hotel, I did get to enjoy this restaurant since it is in the hotel not far from the lobby. They offer tasting menus in addition to their standard menu. I went with the seafood tasting menu and I think I was still full the next morning. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend. It is on the pricey side.

Good service over cooked expensive food and 3 sick people from rotten shell fish

By waltermichael |

I have been to this store no less than 4 times and obviously had good experiences. All pre covid. 7 of us went for what we expected to be an experience. We had oysters and clams . $4.00 plus oysters have white/white shells. A few of our guys ate clams and oysters that should have never been served. They were spoiled had yellow shells and one clam we sent back just based on its aroma. To top it off we had 2 steaks and 1 venison all ordered medium rare all came out well. That was sad One was so over cooked that they took it off the tab. The low quality of clams and oysters made 3 of our group deadly ill. The trip ruined. Michael Mina's team refused to speak with our hosts. Too many awesome places to eat in Vegas. Skip this place and go to Guy Savoy, Picasso, Le Cirque, Nomad, a few of superior venues.

Seafood at The Bellagio

By Designer-at-Large |

Contemporary, attractive, bustling, dinner restaurant & bar behind the beautiful garden conservatory at The Bellagio. Dinner was all well prepared, with complex combination of flavors, the highlight was the main course. Flavors draw from a northern African or Mediterranean cuisine with exotic accent spices. Spiced, crispy pita bread and a hummus dip was offered to the table. The menu is divided into several ways to enjoy fish and shellfish. Raw, chilled, cooked. We started with steamed clams. Under the hot main dish, three different fish & preparations can be selected. Ordered a medium sized, very fresh red butter leaf salad that was good, but unremarkable. Selected red snapper for two with a curry preparation. Delicious. Sat at comfortable booth by the entry across from the bar counter which allowed for enough separation for conversation. White wine list a little weak for us (they were out of the one we ordered), but had a nice champagne that complemented the fish. Mixed drinks were exotic. The restaurant is divided into 3 different areas to accommodate larger groups. Acoustics were fairly good even with a large table next to us and the bar adjacent to us.
