We are visting family in Austin so we're not very familiar with all the fun places to go. Thank goodness for reading the good reviews about this place. We gave it a try and struck gold! Fast friendly service. Simple menu. ...burgers, fries, o-rings. The half pound burger was a BIG burger and tasted fresh and amazing! Hand cut crinkle fries and o-rings just as fresh and amazing. The venue is cool too. Pinic style seating. Unique hand washing device near the soda fountains. Men's restrooms had a fun little surprise! I will let you experience it for yourself! Voted 2015 best burger in Austin. I now know why!

I was amazed that a "burger joint" could get a Baldridge Quality Award. Until I had the burger - fabulous! You might well do better at some eclectic place that handcrafts burgers from Kobe beef or the like, but this is a reasonably priced chain where you are eating at picnic tables, for heaven's sakes. The burger was absolutely top quality, the fries and shake very good. And the hand washing jacuzzi was neat, too. I'll be back!

I went there with my two kids, we had classic burgers with grilled onion and cheddar cheese, strawberry shake and fries. They got our order wrong, had to go back for an item. It was a good burger, didn't think it was so amazing.

No variations just simple awesome burgers. Well you could choose the size of the patty but that's it. Also lemonade is great, finally a place where not the regular one is served.

Great lunch and some high quality products. Made in house Ground Beef, Krinkle cut Fries, pickles krinkle cut and homemade shakes.

Always a good, decent, quick choice . Good service and menu. They have added a chicken sandwich recently so nice to have a bit more choice

These burgers were on point and you get to make them the way you want. The burgers were juicy and the onion rings were crispy. The sauce for the onion rings was super delicious I could put that on everything. The fries were also really good. The atmosphere had a very down home feeling. The tables were set up in a community style so you are sitting next to other people. Overall this place was very good and I would definitely recommend for some good quick eats.

We are lucky enough to visit family in Austin every year and this burger place is a must. Clean, friendly and you can watch them prepare the food too. The best burgers ever.

Staff were friendly and helpful, always a plus. Good burger and fries. I will stop by again the next time I'm in Austin.

We stopped in at 1 pm and the place was some what busy. We walked right up and ordered. $47 for four burgers and four drinks. No double meats just the single patty. That through me off. The food came out to you very quick & the gentleman from the register to the guy wiping the table were fantastic! The food was hot, fresh and tasted great! It was a nice experience but again the price shocked me a little.

I’m a frequent diner of Mighty Fine Burgers when in Austin. They are in the rotation of food establishments. Their customer service exceeds any fast food restaurant I visited. On a recent visit it rained, and an employee greeted customers at their cars with an umbrella – how nice!! They are friendly, fast, and courteous. I always order the ¼ pound in a bowl. The fries can be ordered by kiddie size but why bother. The taste of the food is outstanding. The milk shake are just as good. I’m always tempted to order something extra like chili or the deep fried burger. For a great burger that won’t put a dent in your wallet, try this place. They have mastered the art of blending fast food with quality and customer service. I’d pick this place over some of the more common upscale fast food establishments.

This place is clean, efficient, quick, and they make the best hamburgers I've ever tasted. Well worth the reasonable cost!

Today was my first time visiting Mighty Fine Burgers (Mopac) and I will definitely be going back. The cashier was so friendly while taking my order and others around her were very attentive to what I was ordering in order to start preparing my meal. So what did I order? I went for the The Classic 1/2 lb. Hamburger (well done) with yeller cheese, lettuce, pickles, grilled onions and jalapeños with fries. It took approximately 5-8 minutes to prepare my meal and off I went. Yes, this was a to go order as I was on my lunch break. Once I finally got to bite into my burger I felt pure joy! The meat was cooked to perfection and the taste was awesome. This is by far one of the best burgers that I've had. I stopped going to many other "fast food" locations because they tend to pre-cook the meat and it tastes horrible. Mighty Fine Burgers prepares your meal once you order it. The meat is hot, cheese melted and the french fries compliment this meal. I could go on and on complimenting this place, but I encourage you to decide for yourself. Like myself, you will wish you had tried them out sooner!

The food was great, service too. I highly recommend the extra thick strawberry shake. They add an extra scoop of Blue Bell ice cream to thicken it and make their own strawberry sauce to add to it. The staff is incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to make sure you are having a good experience.

love this place! love their burgers-you can actually taste the freshness of their meat! a bit overpriced for a meal but bc the burger is soo good, its worth it! wished their fries were spectacular =/

I LOVE Mighty Fine Burgers! First off the meat is clean and wholesome, NO growth hormones, NO antibiotics and they have a GLUTEN FREE bun!! YAY!! I loved being back in Austin where there are eating establishments that believe in clean, healthy food. Love this place! Staff is always, always courteous and the food is always, always good! You get what you pay for eating here and you won't be disappointed!! I do wish their fries were steak fries, I prefer a hearty fry than a skinny wimpy one.

Had a half pounder burger, which was nice and messy & tasty. Grilled onions are free. Cheese is extra. Crinkle cut fries were meh. All you can drink for one price soda fountain drinks, plus bottles of soda and beer available. Picnic style shared seating. Plenty of parking. There are better burgers around, but this one is definitely worth trying.

We went to this restaurant last night and it had the best gluten free buns! I have been gluten intolerant for the last 20 years and this bun and burger were the best I have ever had! This is a great place to eat and the shakes are amazing!!! The service was excellent!

Mighty Fine has a lot of good things going right for it....service, cleanliness, friendliness, gluten free buns, onion rings. There were several indicators that they were voted the best hamburger in Austin. I don't think they even come close to having the best burger. I think it is pretty average but the other things I mentioned above are the reasons why I would return.

Avoid The Onion Rings!! The breading falls off so you get a bag full of crumbs and half breaded onions. It gets worse. They just dump the onion rings and crumbs into the bag on top of your burger, making a greasy mess that soaks through the bag and gets on your clothing and your car seat. The burger itself pricy $$$ but otherwise not bad. I forgot to add, the onion rings came out cold.

We went here after seeing so many good reviews about this place. The burgers and fries were good but we loved the milkshakes. The prices were too high though. 1/4 pound burger was enough for each. Service was great.

I am not a fan of hamburgers. Period. When my husband won a $50 gift card for Nighty Fine at his work, I was thinking: "What are we going to do with $50 worth of hamburgers? Who can we give it to?" However, one time when we were shopping in the area, I agreed to go in and try it. Well, $50 does not buy you a whole lot of hamburgers as I thought. (I said I was not a hamburger consumer.) I had the small size burger with fries and have to admit, I liked it--and that says a lot . As I do not buy sodas from soda machines and soda guns, I liked that they had the bottled sodas options as well. Service was fast and the place reasonably clean. I liked the "hand washing machine"-and most kids I saw there did too.

Always get a fresh, hot, quality burger with fast, friendly service. Impressive consistency across locations, as well.

My husband and I did a blind test comparing In-n-out, Top Notch, PTerry's and Mighty fine buying their regular cheese burguers. We both gave Mighty Fine the best scores. They definitely surpass the others in meat flavour, fries and bun-to-meat ratio.

Okay, it had nothing to do with the fact I'd just arrived in Austin after being in California for a week, but I wanted a good tasting burger (which was not something I was able to get out there). I'd been to this location many times, so I knew it was good, and that's why it was my choice for dinner. The servers laughed as I told them about my inability to find a good burger in CA, as Mighty Fine was far superior to anything out there (like In-N-Out, which has made it's way to Austin). I had a cheeseburger red and a chocolate milkshake. It didn't last long as I devoured it, but savored every bite. I did notice the prices had increased a little, but I don't mind paying for quality. Every time I've come here, the staff always makes me feel welcome. That, and a great product, is why I keep coming back.

Stopped here for quick lunch. We have eaten here several times after boys soccer games. It is always good. I tried a chocolate shake this time and it wss really good. I'm sure we will be back again.

I have never been a big fan of krinkle fries, but their's are fresh cut and the krinkles keep the fries from getting soggy. They have become my favorite. Be sure to try the fresh strawberry lemonade. Now they have added onion rings. At Rudy's and Mighty Fine, they know how to serve up great food in a hurry.

What a great team that worked there, from order takers, cooks and cleaning staff. Love their fun hand washing station. The burgers was ok, had better else where.

i arrived around 2:00 and the line was pretty long but moved quickly. Even with a lot of other people in front of me in line it only took maybe 5 minutes for my burger to get to me. The food here is usually pretty reliable.

I have been going here for 4 or 5 years. I really like the hamburgers and fries. But I've noticed in the last year or so the price is constantly increasing. Customers also like value for their money.

Hand down the best burger in Austin! The curly fries are excellent! its pricey, but its well worth it. Save your time and just go here! Shake shack is good and anytime were in California or Texas we always get In and Out, but Mighty is our favorite

This austin favorite hamburger joint does one thing and does them well, burgers. You get two choices, white or yellow (mayo or mustard). i assume they'd throw you out for ordering one plain, ala the soup nazi! but if those two do you fine, then this place will suit you Mighty Fine!

This is not a fast food place although the food service is fast. Lot of faithful fans. Easy parking.

The entire operation of this place it top-notch! The Classic Burgers are large, hand-formed patties, perfectly cooked and deliciously dressed (especially with the grilled onions!). Fries are crisp, light and tasty! Positive attitude from staff is uplifting! Highly recommend it to friends and family!

I love hamburgers! If you love hamburgers too, you need to try Mighty Fine Burgers. There are several locations in Austin, the one I go to is on Brodie Lane. They are a down to earth, simple to understand way of getting you your burger fix. It's clean, clean, clean, user friendly, reasonably priced, and the best tasting burger in Austin I think.

Took my niece and nephew to a ball game at Disch-Falk where the MF food truck was serving. Bought two burgers, two fries, one water and we were charged $33.40. Fries were soggy and lousy. Burger was OK but nothing special. No receipt. Avoid this place; there are many better burger joints in Austin.

I ate lunch here at Mighty Fine Burger. The burger was pretty good, but in my humble opinion the fries were lacking. The fries were crinkle cut, but cut very thin. You would think that a thin cut would allow them to be served crispy, but they were not. I despise soggy fries and unfortunately these fries were inconsistent. Some crisp and some soggy. The staff was friendly and attentive. To me the gold standard for hamburgers is still either 5 Guys or a Hardee’s Thick Burger.

The burger was nothing spectacular but was good. The shake was decent but even though you don't get a 5 guys portion of them I did like the crinkle cut fries.

Hey it’s a simple straightforward burger shop - the burgers are good - probably not exactly MIGHTY fine good, but good - and I think I actually liked the fries more than the burger! It was a little expensive though...we got two burgers, two drinks, and shared one French fry and it was $25...I had to look at the receipt twice!!! So in the end, good burger, fast food type of place, no waiters or anything it’s all self serve - but with a fairly high price for that!

I love this place. This was one of the best burgers that I have eaten. I like the atmosphere. I love the hand washing machine. The staff is friendly. I had the classic burger with cheese and a side of fries. It was delicious. The prices are affordable. Do not be intimidated by the line. I went at lunch on a Friday and the line moved fast.

I used DoorDash to order food. I ordered a burger, fries, and hot dog. The burger was really good. It lacked enough condiments, but I had some at home. The fries were cold and not enough ketchup given. The hot dog was really good, but it was smashed and very little chili. This was the best restaurant I have ordered from, but it was expensive will all the fees.

This burger place is awesome. Highly recommend this place for a great burger and shake! I wish they were closer to home - I would be there more often!

We always try new places, and are constantly disappointed. Not so with Mighty Fine. The staff was so friendly, in fact overly so, my wife changed her mind after the order on the temp of her burger, and the staff wanted to redo the whole order, including fries and onion rings. We wouldn't let them, didn't want to waste the food, but the gesture was nice. Anyway, on to the burger. I had the 1/2 pound cheeseburger and it was sooooo delicious. One of the best I've ever had. I also had the onion rings which were outstanding. I finished it off with a strawberry shake, also above par! This was an excellent meal for the price!

Since I am from Tanzania, I have never tasted a "burger" .... They were amazing. I loved the way they treated their customers. Overall, just an awesome place to go.

Seriously good burgers. Straight to the point on order.. Simple menu but tasty as hell.. A must when in the area..

When the suggestion for lunch came up, I recommended this place because of the quality I'd gotten here before. My two friends had never been here before, so it was a great new experience for them. I got my usual cheeseburger red, and it was as juicy as the very first time I went here years ago. We did have some important news to discuss, and we couldn't sit inside because it's extremely noisy. The picnic tables outside are right under the speaker system, which makes it louder than inside. There's a small seating area in the parking lot, which is available nearby. This place continues to have good quality food, and is some place I'll continue to come to.

We come here often for the great-tasting burgers and the thin-cut fries. The shakes are fantastic as well. Quick, friendly service is a plus as well!

Between the two, the Austin hamburger market is sewn up tight. Great burgers and fries. Mighty Fine's prices are a little higher than I'd like, but what else is new?

Use to be good . #1 the person taking your order spoke too fast and we had a hard time understanding him #2 the carpets where the fountain drinks are was filthy for just opening up for lunch. #3 my grandson of 14 had a brick for a burger and couldnt finish it way over cooked and dried out # cost $40 for 3 of us for lunch.

Friendly staff with fast service. I would recommend trying the country fried burger it was awesome and will be one of the best burgers you have had.

I will preface this review saying I was hangry after a long day of shopping and this burger tasted like heaven. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu is very simple but they do it right. The lemonade was cool and refreshing. They stack their toppings under the burger so you don't have to deal with the disappearing bun. And the fries were tasty. We got one and shared between two people.

The hubby and I enjoy burgers and so we were happy to stumble across this little gem of a place. You order at the counter and unlike many of the burger joints in Texas, they actually bring the tray to you. The milkshake was very thick and tasty. We probably should have taken the lid off and found a spoon but... The burgers were great, tasted freshly ground and seasoned well. The fries were also very tasty and freshly cut. We really liked this place and look forward to returning the next time we're up in the Domain area.

Mighty Fine's burgers are pretty dang good. They are juicy and made from natural beef. The crinkle fries are really good, just a little thin. One order of fries will feed two people. The price is a bit expensive, especially when you can get a comparably tasting burger for much less elsewhere. The staff provide very good customer service and they REALLY seem to love working for the company. At the South location, my kids enjoy watching the burgers being made through the glass window. My son enjoys the restroom because it has a one way mirror facing out into the dining room. The handwash station is a favorite for kids, too. I must admit, though, I enjoy the relaxing sound as it runs and the fact that I don't have to do any work to get disinfected. Because, we all know how much work it is to wash your hands. The shakes taste good, like a regular ol' shake. Beer is available. The family style seating and no frills atmosphere makes it a great place to take your family.

I am a burger fanatic. This makes the top 3 of best burgers in my opinion. You can just tell the meat is fresh, and the service is most amazing! The french fries are hard to beat too.

My cousin's husband had a hankering for hamburger and likes this place. My cousin said it was just okay based upon previous experience. I was surprised how big the joint is (looks like they are prepared to serve crowds of people due to the line setup and the big dining area). Got in line like a herd of cattle to order. They write your order directly on a paper bag that later will contain your order, which was interesting. The burger was seriously not good. There was nothing special or unique about it...unless you count the fact that the meat patty shrunk to 75% the size of the bun and the bun was soggy (my cousin had mentioned how her buns were soggy in the past and she thought it was due to the tomatoes, so she stopped ordering tomatoes...her bun still came out soggy). The fries were a bit on the brown side so they were dry. I personally think for the quality of burger, the price doesn't match (not that it's expensive, but considering there are much better burger places out there, then yeah, it's a waste of money for what you get). I would not willingly go back on my own unless I was starved.

This was my first visit to this Mighty Fine and it is like the others with one small change. You get cups for water at the counter when you order rather than at the fountain soda machine. I had a 1/2 lb Chili Cheese Burger and it was delicious. I ordered it medium rare and is was delivered as ordered. Service taking my order and then bringing the burger out were all fast, and I ate and left a very happy camper.

Fresh food, open kitchen, fun environment. Nice, friendly staff. Fresh made food and onion rings! Did not try the shakes but they looked good also.

We have been going to this store for several years, ever since it first opened. The quality of the hamburgers remain as good as when it began serving. We love the onion rings. This is my son's and my favorite hamburger place.

The meet is organic, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is like vintage is one of the best burgers that I been.

Young lady at the counter was super nice and delightful. Thanks Jamie, we will be back! Delicious burgers, very neat and clean establishment, gluten free options, everything we need. The burger was great and the fries too, but really the kind friendly service is what puts Mighty Fine over the top. Way to go, team, keep it up!

After a long day at a convention, I really wanted a burger and went with Mighty Fine Burgers. I ordered a 1/4 lbs with chili and cheese, onion rings, and a strawberry lemonade. The burger was satisfying but given that I added chili, I was hoping it would be meatier; maybe I should have opted for the larger one. The onion rings were very good though, and the lemonade hit the spot. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if I find myself in the area again with a burger craving, I'll be sure to order the 1/2 lbs :)

Great friendly people, great burgers, great fries, great shakes, oh and very cool hand washing machine. In summary, it's Mighty Fine!

Good burgers, good onion rings, strange setting like a camp or prison dining hall. Apparently have chicken and dogs but have never seen anyone order one so have not risked it myself Can be very crowded.

Friends took me here great service terrific burgers and great fries Shakes are to die for a must visit I love 5 guys but I think this beats them

Mighty Fine serves a mighty good quality burger. It's a bit on the pricey side but it's always delicious. Meat is always cooked right and it's always served hot; unlike other burger places. The staff is always upbeat and smiling and seem to enjoy their job.

I paid $9.24 for a half pound chili burger which seemed overpriced considering it came with no side. Customer service was excellent and food was ready super fast to my delight! Metal folding chairs in dining area are not very comfortable to sit in. Burger was cooked all the way through the middle which surprised me since it was ready so quickly!

This is probably one of the tastiest burgers I have had in a while. The condiments (vegetables) were fresh and the burger quite satisfying without being messy.

We were originally going to try the new In@Out burger, but due to crowds decided to go to Mighty Fine in Round Rock. As always the staff was excellent, friendly, and the burgers out of this world as always. Enjoy going here for a quick good meal, never disappoints.

i literally eat here every day when i had a construction project near here (3min walk distance). It convenience at the time since not have alot of time for lunch.

Great home style burgers. This is a repeat stop for me when I'm in Austin. Try the Dublin Dr Pepper, it's the best.

Mighty Fine is a family favorite. Fresh made burgers in a clean trendy sort of set up. The hand wash station is fun. Fabulous Blue Bell ice cream shakes to finish off your meal!

I am not usually going to burger joints but this was an exceptional place. I had a small cheeseburger (when I say "small" it was 1/4 lb. of beef), nothing small about that to me and it was made just the way I like it. They will even grill the onions. I also had a caramel sea salt shake that was delicious. It was worth all the calories!! Kids had French fries so I got to try them and loved every bite. Prices were very affordable and the amount of food served was certainly ample. I was impressed with the employers support of their employees that was acknowledged on the table. Obviously this employer knows how to do things right! Great food, great service, great benefits for employees. Win-win-win

Great food great service. I just moved down from Chicago and was looking for a good burger. And I found the perfect spot

I've been a huge fan of Mighty Fine's ever since it opened. There isn't anything to not like, honestly. Their food, workers, restaurants themselves are all fabulous. All the way down to the hand washers and foot pedals on the bathroom doors. I recommend it to all my friends who visit Austin. I really can't rave enough about them.

My first ever visit to a Might Fine Burger joint! Knowing that it was all fresh and you could see what's going on in the kitchen was great. The burger was delicious, as were the onion rings and fries. The chocolate shake was just what the doctor ordered and I really enjoyed the communal tables' set up. The place was super busy, but everyone was served pretty quickly and they all had a smile on their face! I'd eat here again for sure!

My girls absolutely loved it! My youngest ate the entire burger and she usually doesn't eat burgers at all! The French fries were excellent as well. I love the kids meal option and because I was told this was a trial basis I think this should remain on the menu! In fact my husband just tasted the burger and we had to turn back around to get him one!

I have eaten here before and for fast food it used to be quite good--not this time though. I ordered online and as I was walking in from the parking lot and it was during a busy Friday lunch time. To my surprise, the order was ready even before the "promised" time, but when I sat down, I found out that the burger and fries were both completely cold. I don't mean that I would like my food slightly warmer, I mean everything was so cold, it looked like both items were made long time before I even placed the order and sat on the counter for a every long time. Also the fries were just a bag full of little odd pieces like skins and broken fires, as if somebody just cleaned what was left on the bottom of the frier basket. Normally, I would bring this back, but since they were so busy, I did not have it in me to stand in line to complain. I don't plan on coming bak any time soon.

An old fashioned burger (if you grew up around here). Same ownership as Rudys Barbeque....and similarly good food. Try the off menu FritoPie and others. Plenty of parking, but it is very popular and can be as loud as a bar at happy hour and as crowded as an airport departure lounge.

We wanted to get a quick lunch, and my girlfriend had never been to a MF location before. She’s not a “fast-food” person, but liked the idea of supporting a local business. I’ve been going here for years, so I knew to order my cheeseburger “red” and get a chocolate milkshake, and I helped my GF get what she wanted. She went for a regular burger and fries in order to try it out. Overall, she thought it was “okay,” she found it filling but not spectacular. She was glad she got to experience something that she hadn’t before, but it wasn’t her thing. I still found the quality to be as good as I’d had many times in the past. Even though my GF didn’t feel it was “mighty fine,” I’ll still be coming here because I like it.

I had some time to kill before seeing a movie and was not expecting much but I am a fan now. Great quality meat in a thick patty. No thin burger patty here! Great onion rings and a delicious blueberry milkshake . Skip the other burger joints and get a Mighty Fine instead.

Delicious non-greasy burgers. They are great. The beef is so tasty you can enjoy it without red or yellow. The new onion rings are perfect.

Visited 2017-05-03 at 1220. Two burgers with avocado and bacon, mix of fries and onion rings, and waters $1994. The burgers are excellent. We especially like the burger in a bowl. Onion rings are excellent. The staff is professional, courteous, and thorough. The ordering line moves quickly. Only item we've ever found disappointing was the one time we tried a gluten free bun - which was terribly dry. Ice tea is excellent, and the shakes are tasty, real ice cream shakes. We return on a regular basis.

Great burger and good service. I eat here all the time. Would be nice if the price would quit going up. They have raised it several times the last couple of years.

Enjoyed new experience at Mighty Fine. Food was fresh, never frozen. Service was quick. Atmosphere was relaxed with long family style tables w/ red covers. Enjoyed the meal with old friend.

After a long day of being outside and enjoying the nice weather, my friend and I decided it was time for an early dinner. This was right on our way, and a place we’d both had been previously (although not at the same time). We were so original, as we ordered the exact same things. My cheeseburger red was juicy and tasty as it is on every other visit I’ve had here. Her burger was also to her liking. The chocolate milkshake sat untouched during the meal in order to let it soften enough to drink (and we could enjoy our dessert in the car ride home). This continues to be a great place to grab a quick bite, and a way I can support a local business. Something which was new to me was the tablet sitting at the table where you could give immediate feedback on how the meal and service was. There was also a small kiosk so a picture could be posted on Instagram if one desired. I filled out the survey on the tablet, as businesses should also be informed when they are doing a great job.

Another city - why not - brunch was “see y’all later”, Exit Stage Left, thank you RUSH! I had 1/2 pound beef patty, jalapeño w/mayonnaise. Too much beef - comparison cancelled. It was too good to think different! So funny, The men’s room wall is translucent & when I spun around MHSW (my hot sexy wife) was seated staring at me at the wiz-bowl. There must be 50 ways to leave & Santa’s gone. Keep partying those are sleigh taillights ahead are Leslie & Tommy.

My wife and I visited Mighty Fine for the third time, and again, it was fabulous. Mighty Fine features home made hand formed burgers, fresh condiments, and buns fresh enough to melt in your mouth. It also features the best onion rings and french fries in town. The onion rings are served with a tasty creamy dill dipping sauce. Everything is up front and as you see it. You are met at the counter by friendly staff. You ordered your sandwich, customize your toppings and condiments and are given a locater for delivery start to your table. The only thing that is a bit unnerving is the communal seating. And yes, it can get crowded. Don't forget the kid in you and wash your hands with the automatic washer. A great Austin burger joint.

Nice family style burger joint. Quick & friendly service. Hot, juicy burgers. Good shakes! The fries & onion rings are ok. Will definitely visit again when in Austin.

The lemonade shake is not listed on the menu, but just ask for one. The sweet, tart combo is great on a summer day.

Terrific burgers in a Texas twist of In-n-Out burger. In fact, in many ways its better than In-n-Out. I loved it and would go back provided that I go to the gym first. it's not the healthiest but once in while, a good burger is just what one needs.

Not sure what all the hype is over the hamburgers. Yes they taste good and the prices are cheap but it's nothing to write home about. The food is fresh and quick service. The order takers are friendly. Give this place a try. I would go back! ○○○○○○

I was looking forward to a great burger & I got it. My burger was delicious as were the onion rings! Maybe the best onion rings ever! The shake for the day was banana cream pie - wow! But it was a little sweet for my taste. Hope to go back again.

Fantastic hamburger. Big, tasty, filling....just like I want it. CLose to other shopping and hotels. Staff amazingly friendly. Open seating on picnic type tables.

Big Super Burgers. Always FRESH. They always cook it as you like! Has a good, relaxing feel to the restaurant. Kick back and enjoy. Bring the kids..., too!

This place was good. We went here after a night of drinking so it was a good burger for that. The fries and onion rings were tasty and we didn't wait very long for our food. The blueberry shake we ordered was out of this world! This place isn't anything fancy but it's a good burger for the price.

I enjoyed my burger and fries, don't get me wrong but it was like a burger fired on the grill and didn't warrant the price. I didn't care for the long table set up because I don't like feeling like I'm sitting with strangers. I also don't get the one way mirror in the men's room. I reckon some people find it amusing but I'm glad I'm not a male. I doubt I will be back just because I can get a similar burger for less money elsewhere. The service was good and I did like how they had everything on display.

The fries & onion rings were great too! This was the first time we had eaten here. It was interesting to order, but the lady at the counter was really helpful. The food came out quick & it was all tasty. We would all eat here again.

We have been loyal MF customers for years. The prices for a burger joint were a bit high but were worth it for the quality. During the pandemic, we shifted to pick up orders and thought the food wasn't quite as good but thought that just had to do with the difficulties all restaurants were experiencing due to COVID. We returned to dine in service over the last six months and wondered what had happened. Compared to many years before, the food quality has declined. Also, for a place whose cleanliness had always been very noticeable, our location doesn't even come close. The floors are dirty, the restrooms are trashed, and the guy whose job it used to be to just keep tables clean was nowhere in sight. Even the famous hand washing station was out of order. In the "old days", employees even kept the entry door glass clean. No longer. Even the exhaust system doesn't seem to be working nearly as well leaving a greasy smell to the room. I checked online to see what had changed and found out the Austin stores had been sold in 2019. A quote from the new owners said they "want to keep the level of food and service (the former owners) have provided since 2007." Not even close. Whether intentionally or through neglect, they have really let things slide. Unlike the previous owners, there will be no Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for these guys. So so food and a dirty restaurant. These are two regulars who will never be back.

I went here with coworkers but didn't want a hamburger. I was told they had other items in the menu but when I arrived the only other options were a frilled cheese or fried chicken sandwich. My coworkers said their burgers were pretty good but the fries were mediocre at best. My chicken sandwich was pretty basic but not bad. The novelty here is with their special hand washing system, which is pretty cool. Seating is in picnic benches with traditional red & white table clothes. What made this place special was the staff-friendly and hard working for sure.

I do a lot of traveling on my Harley across the country. The places bikers look for is an establishment with a good burger and a beer. Although Mighty Fine does not offer alcoholic beverages, the burgers, fries, and shakes are the bomb. Only 4 locations in the greater Austin TX area. Check EM out if you're in town👍

We have always gone to five guys for burgers when out and about. Visiting Texas, we couldn't find five guys right away and here was mighty fine burger. Well, let's chance it we say. We loved it. The service was excellent, the staff have all been very helpful and friendly. Burger wise...it might be a tie here. I do like might fine's bun a bit more. But the fries...those fries beat out five guys hands down. They are crispy and flavourful. Nice.

Pretty no-frills dining on picnic tables and folding metal chairs. Menu is very limited...burgers, dogs, fries, shakes, drinks, and not much more. But the service is always exceptionally friends, the food quality is good (always freshly made with beef ground on-site) and the shakes are fantastic. Guys will have a strange restroom experience as there is a on-way window between the bathroom and the dining area. Weird, but amusing.

If you want lots of options, this probably isn't the place to go. But if you're looking for a good, simple burger and homemade shake, this is the place for you. The burgers are delicious, the onion rings were on point, and the shake was sooo much better than most places. Uncomplicated.

I've been to Mighty Fine once and I was not impressed. The hamburgers are ok but heard nothing but good reviews - I don't see it as that good nor fantastic or anything. The burgers are ok but very over priced. I would not go back and would not recommend it to anyone because they are very over priced for a hamburger.

Someone please tell me why this TINY LITTLE cheeseburger was worth $7.95 I couldn't believe the size it says 1/2 lb ... I think I must have been served the smallest one in the house .., it was fine nothing more missing the pickles and mustard / ketchup...the interior is nothing more than a large room with folding chairs ... and a cement floor...I'll stick to Wendy's..,

We love the burgers...we love the place. This is a regular stop for us when in Austin. The burgers taste great and the fries are delicious.

If you are a hamburger aficionado put this place on your list. Always a burger you can trust. It's a lot of fun for the family.

During a day of running errands, I wanted to get some quick, decent food, and support a local business at the same time, so it made sense to come here. The interior here has always been clean and bright, and the ordering queue easy to navigate. I ordered my half-pound cheeseburger “red” and had a chocolate milkshake to go with it. The burger was tasty and juicy, without being greasy. The shake was thick, and it took a few moments to melt enough so I could drink it (which was good, because I treat it as dessert). The seat being reminiscent of picnic tables makes this a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Still, as far as I’m concerned, this is one of the best places in Austin to get a burger.

We stopped here for lunch during a training session. The place has rows of picnic tables where you just find a spot to sit after you order. It is nice as it forces people to sit next to others and maximizes the amount of seating. As for the food, you really only have two choices of size for your burger, but you have a bunch of additional options to add to it. You also have an option of fries or onion rings for sides. There are three kinds of shakes you can have, but that is it. The small menu makes sure that they deliver a good quality burger and they do.

Mighty Fine on Mopac is bright and clean with long family style tables. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and helpful. Burgers were very over cooked and dry. Buns and veggies were fresh. Fries and onion rings were lukewarm, and while some were OK, most seemed like they were from the bottom of the barrel. Disappointing after a friend raved about the burgers. Maybe it was a bad night, but if a restaurant isn’t consistent why would I go there?

These were fantastic burgers and the fries and shakes were also top tier. The food was ready quickly and the staff was courteous and attentive. The dining area and the restrooms were immaculate. This is the best burger place in Austin.

Excellent food with great service! Outstanding onion rings…best I’ve ever had! Great shakes! Highly recommend!

This is a different kind of review. At Mighty Fine the burgers are great, the fries crispy and and the shakes are the best. But Sunday Aug31st the staff of Mighty Fine took it to a new level entirely. A car wreck knocked out the power pole that provides electricity to their restaurant and they had no power while Austin Energy made repairs. No electricity is no problem for the folks at Mighty Fine. They pulled up their catering van, installed some tents outside with tables and were busy taking care of the customers that drove up for a Mighty Fine burger. We had our usual 1/4 lb cheeseburger with fries and onion rings and watched the effort that the staff put out to make sure everything was just as expected. Mighty Fine could have put up a sign and reopened when power was back on but they chose to take care of their customer instead. Thank you for rising above the normal in a difficult situation.

Oh my mercy... It was AMAZING! Really it was just a well made, quality cheeseburger. That's what's missing in the realm of the burger biz. You can find it at Mighty Fine because it was really might fine. ;-)

I ordered "The Beast". It was a Pound of Meat, Cheese and a whole lot a calories, but I did not care, it as awesome, kind of hard to hold onto and eat, but worth it.

I was promised the perfect shake. While the taste was really great, the texture and lack of thickness was a bit disappointing.

This most recent visit was my second trip to this particular restaurant. My initial assessment was that these are good burgers....somewhat better than average but certainly nothing amazing. After this second visit my opinion is a bit higher. It was a GOOD burger. I enjoyed it. Will it make my Top 5 all-time list? No. But it really was just that - a GOOD burger. I think part of my thinking comes from the environment. It's clean, comfortable, well laid out, but there is no "character". That's more an observation than a complaint but it's true. I ordered their 1/2 pound burger w cheese. I liked the fact they made it easy to ask for mayo as a condiment....I like mayo on my burger buns. Service was efficient and quick. And the burger didn't disappoint. I'm a purist. I didn't order fries or any extras. I didn't order a shake or a drink. All I really wanted was a GOOD regular big old-fashioned cheeseburger. And that's exactly what I got. I suspect there will be a third visit at some point, and then a fourth. As far as I'm concerned the real measure of a restaurant isn't the number of stars a person gives based on a single visit. It's whether or not the person would go back, or would recommend it to others. In this case - I will, and I do. Nuff said....

Visited on 08/01/25 around 8pm with friends. My drink was missing from the order, so I calmly went to the counter to ask for the cup. The cashier, Yael, gave me attitude immediately—as if I was trying to scam a free drink. He hesitated, gave me dirty looks, and acted completely unprofessional. The other employee handed me the cup, but Yael continued to be visibly grumpy and dismissive. Absolutely unacceptable behavior over something as simple as a missing medium Mountain Drink that I had already paid for. I shouldn’t have to feel embarrassed or judged when correcting an order mistake. If this is how your staff handles customers trying to resolve basic issues, it speaks volumes about your training and service standards. Do better.

Mighty Fine provides good food at reasonable prices. Not only is this a burger place, but they also offer hot dogs and a local menu of items that are of interest to their specific customer base. Frito Pie? That's not on every burger shop's menu, but you'll find it on Mighty Fine's local menu options. Combine that with the ease of building your burger with just what you want on it and you've got a great place to stop in and eat.

Very friendly, personable employees. Service was reasonably quick. Good, cut from real, fresh potatos fries. Good burgers. Hard to distinguish this from growing number of chains in the premium burger crowd (i.e. Five Guys, Meatheads, etc...) -- but I would eat there again if this were the most convenient.

Yeller, red, or white?? Whichever, Mighty Fine are still great burgers, with great fries. Not cheap by Mickey D stardards, but you get what you pay for. ($20 for burgers, fries and drinks.) Still better than Five Guys or others. We try and get here once every time we are in Austin. Wish they would come to Houston.

By far the best burger in town!! Love love love the fresh ingredients!! Great French Fries. Husband loves the Gluten Free buns.

A very simple and refreshing approach to serving a great hamburger and fries. Simple but spacious seating. Gave somewhat of an old soda shop feel.

Back again in Austin for a holiday and visited Mighty Fine again. Great service, friendly staff as before. The hand washing is an experience not to be missed.

Juicy and delicious burgers! Fries were pretty average but still delicious. Burgers come in 1/2 and 1/4 sizes (not including kids burgers). They are cooked medium well, but can be adjusted to your preference. Location is pretty cool and retro, with an awesome hand washing station that is a must try when visiting.

Great Hamburgers. Simple and Fast. My only complaint was the good fries were so small (maybe an inch big), I wanted to use a fork. It was frustrating trying to keep the ketchup off my fingers.

Ground chuck. not the cheap hamburger or hamburger with filler. great flavor. the best onion rings ever. Warning: lots of calories, but worth it if you don't go twice a week. :) This place is Zagat Rated and truly lives up to the hype!

These burgers melt in your mouth! We also got the french fries which are awesome. My husband got a burger in a bowl. What a great no-carb option! The men's room has a see-through one way wall. Very cool and unique.

When Mighty Fine first moved to the area everyone was pretty excited. I waited a couple months before going just because I hate the taste of new grill (I know, I'm weird). I heard that everything was great but kinda pricey. When I finally went, the pricey part was the only thing I agreed with. It was expensive but not very good at all. It was ok but just not as flavorful as a lot of other Austin restaurants. I will say that my shake was pretty good and all of the workers seemed very excited and helpful. The wait was a little long, but it was dinner time, and there was ample seating. But the burger was average at best, and the fries were quite possibly the worst I've ever had. If you're visiting Austin for the first time, just know that Mighty Fine is not our best.

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered the Classic Burger with onion rings and sweet tea. The service was friendly and comparable time wise to fresh-cooked food. The burger was a nice thick 1/2 lb patty but was a bit overcooked and dry. The veggies were fresh and tasty. The onion rings were made fresh and you can watch them being made which is cool. The sweet tea was pretty good. They have cafeteria style picnic seating. The prices are a bit high for a burger, side, and drink especially considering you can get a great gourmet burger cheaper.

Love the hamburgers. Simple menu = great food. The automated hand washer is a bonus. Good shakes too.

Super popular but the burgers are so so and they are way overpriced. I'd pass on this and go to PTerrys, much better and half the price.

A lot of times when people come to Austin, they want to eat What-a-Burger especially if they do not live in Texas. While What-A -Burger gets the most advertising and visibility. Might Fine Burgers, Fries and Onions rings are the best. Everything down to the Hamburger is prepared on site. The do have some items that are on a Secret Menu. This is not a place where you can go and find a large assortments of condiments or other items other than Burger Related items. Without a doubt one of the best Hamburgers are the Best. Fries - Crinkle Cut from Baked Potatoes on-site are some of the best fries you will ever have. The onion rings, again cut fresh on site, are battered just right. They are awesome. Unless you are starving the smaller burger is plenty if you are getting Fries or Onion Rings. My wife always get a burger each. And one of us get Fries and the other Onion Rings. Great Place to eat and Great service.

Burgers are excellent. Very clean and very helpful staff. Greta place to go if you want a great burger.

The burger was very good, the place is family friendly and there’s a different energy because of the long common tables

Contrary to many restaurants, this place is quieter. The manager, Katy, & waitress Carla, always greet me by name with a big hug. They have fantastic breakfasts.

First time at a Mighty Fine restaurant and I came away impressed. Had the original with cheese, onion rings, and a vanilla shake. All came out hot and as I ordered. Staff was friendly and helpful, price was reasonable, and the restaurant was clean. I hope to go back soon.

This is similar to Smashburger or Five Guys, if you've been to either of those. Premium burgers cooked fresh to order. I thought the burger tastes better than Five Guys, but not as good as Smashburger. It would be nice if MF offers more options like mushroom and Swiss. Tried both the onion rings and fries and found both were very good. Handcut smaller crinkle fries were fresh and crisp.

We recently enjoyed a grilled hotdog meal here. While most folks go fir the burgers we were looking for a decent dog place since our favorite closed. Wow these guys are very tasty and the chili is quite good. The grilled wiener has a smoked flavor.

Dropped by for a milkshake and fries on a hot day. The staff were friendly and cheerful, the place was clean and had a great atmosphere.

Went for my first time. Totally great experience. I had a burger with cheese and bacon, white. Also onion rings. The food was good as well as the value. Dining is family style. I'll definitely go back.

A very quick order and served hamburger place. You order at the counter, they deliver to your table. Share a long table with other patrons, but watch your fries. . . they are to die for!! Fresh ingredients all the way around. These hamburgers (w/ cheese too) are just like the ones an old style Drug Store would have grilled for you. . . hot, tasty, and made with love. All of the staff are efficient and seem glad you visited their place. Don't come to Austin without a visit -- it's better than Five Guys, and rates highest in the country for me.

I love this place because it is so quick and easy to access from where I live. The burgers are always tasty and made fresh to order. I think the only draw back I have is that there are no comb meals, everything is paid separately: fries, drinks, burgers. Still the best darn burgers though!

I returned to Mighty Fine and thought I would try ordering something from their local menu. I decided I should splurge on the dairy-laden lemonade milkshake to share with my kids. Little did I know that this would taste EXACTLY like my granny's not-quite homemade ice cream! We used to make it with ice milk (a rare find now), a splash of regular milk, and a few drops of lemon extract. Mighty Fine uses their lemonade in this milkshake, but all I could think about the rest of the day was going back and getting another one to drink all by myself.

With grandchild- good food. Ordered Junior cheeseburger and shake. Also ordered soft drinks as well. Plan on returning !

Mighty Fine is another Austin staple. On a comparison level with In-N-Out and Five Guys, Mighty Fine delivers a solid burger for a reasonable price. It's not as "gourmet" with its selection and choices as many other offerings, but it delivers about the best taste for its price. Double cheeseburger is excellent; shakes are creamy and rich. Fries leave something wanting. Enjoy the one-way mirror men's restroom. It's a fun little extra.

The burgers 1/2lb were huge and good. Only issue is that we ordered their fries and it was very small and not worth the cost. For fries that are almost $3 the portion size should have been bigger.

little burgers, skinny meat...might as well drive through MC Donald's, you would think with such few options they would be good at one...they are not

Eat here about once a week and they have consistently good hamburgers. The servers are nice and they know me by name. Recommend this place. Meat is also all natural and fries are gre.........at !.

Service was friendly and fast. I got a small burger and small milkshake. The burger was ok and the shake only so-so. I was hoping that one or the other would be great. There are too many great burger places to go back to ones that are just ok.

From the owners of Rudy's BBQ, well crafter 100% Beef Burgers fresh cut krinkle fries and hand scooped shakes this place does the simple really well. They cook burgers to order in a fun atmosphere and you can taste the difference a sure fire top notch burger in a town with a lot of good burgers.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch burgers and fries. I had the 1/2 lb burger with everything plus chili and it was delicious. Cooked as I asked at medium rare. The fries weren't as good as I remember and I forgot to tell them to not over cook them so shame on me. Service was fast at the counter and delivery was pretty quick. Pricing is high at 9.99 for the burger plus 1.99 for the chili. There are better value burgers here, but none as tasty and satisfying.

This is a good burger place with fresh burgers and fries. The seating is family style with long tables and chairs so you may be sharing space with a new friend. It was fun to watch the people make the burgers and buns through a viewing window. The food was good and service was fine.

Fast, friendly service. Good burger and strawberry lemonade.. fries were small, greasy and not very tasty Liked the “picnic style decor”

There are quite a few "grab & go burger places in Austin. Some of the similar local chains are P. Terry's, Dan's and Mighty Fine. Of these, I have to say Mighty Fine had the best tasting burger. The chili on the burger was good but the fries and onion rings are average and rather greasy. These places are better than fast food and I'd rather support a local chain with their corporate offices in Austin. It's not as good as Hopdoddy, or other mid-range burger places but as a quick grab & go it's fine. But fair warning for Mighty Fine - if you get it to go don't put the bag on your car seat - mine was soaked in grease & required cleaning.

The burgers here really are fantastic. Fresh ingredients, delivered to the table fast. The burgers are pretty substantial. 1/2 Lb patty plus all the toppings. I actually showed a little restraint and went Junior that's still 1/4 Lb. That was enough for me for lunch. I also had onion rings. They are also really good.

This was once the best burger in Austin so when I came to town I drive out of my way to eat here. The guy that took my order was so rude. I ordered two burgers and onion rings and fries and he said " you need to slow down, you know this isn't mc Donald's ". My dad and I looked at each other and my dad was so shocked he just walked away. He said red yellow or white and I asked what he meant he said this is how people talk now like I was a dumb old guy. Then when I've asked for my name and I gave him my name I asked if he would call my name or if I would use one of the buzzer/beepers on the counter he said if I would just wait he will tell me. It was like they were trying to be as ugly as possible. My dad asked for water and he threw a plastic cup on me and it hit the floor and he didn't even say ooops or anything. Finally the burger was very mediocre and I can't remember the last time I didn't tip but I certainly didn't tip this time. I will never let some jerk talk to me like that again and I will never ever eat at that place ever again. If you want a sloppy and bland burger and to be treated horribly, this is the place.

This is a local chain utilizing all fresh ingredients (quality beef, fresh cut fries, in-house onion rings). Counter-service fast food, but much better than typical fast food. Fries are great (fresh cut), onion rings are great, nothing is frozen. Highly recommended for quick tasty burger with local flavor. Be sure and use the hand washing machine!

I was excited to try this place, and I was actually a bit disappointed. I had a burger with bacon and fries and a strawberry shake. The only way to describe the burger is bland. There was not much flavor from anything, including the jalapenos or grilled onions. It didn't taste bad, just bland, so I had to use extra ketchup. Fries were crispy and good, but there were not enough of them. The real star was the strawberry shake. Wish I had ordered two of those and skipped the food.

Fed a family of 6 here after a funeral in Austin. Good quality burgers. The fries and rings were good, too. Liked that they had gluten-free options for buns as we try to do that for the kids, usually. In fact, they had "gluten-free fries" as an option, which is strange to see. Shakes were good, strawberry lemonade was awesome. Community picnic tables were interesting, but ... clean. I'd go back! Wish we had one in Houston.

Been here twice recently. Once ordered online in advance and the food was ready just as I walked in and most recently, just walked in and ordered. Great tasting burgers, good fries and cold tasty shakes. Good staff and lots of indoor seating.

This Austin burger establishment stemmed from the people who made Austin's Rudy's BBQ famous, makes fresh ground hamburger and fresh but cut fries and hand cut battered onion rings. The burgers are homestyle delicious and the fries and onion rings are done crispy right. The service crew is friendly and the food is freshly prepared and does have you wanting to come back for more!

After trying burgers at most of the top burger restaurants in Austin, Mighty Fine lives up to its name and always provides a very fresh tasting burger along with some of the best fries ever. Choose the 1/2 pound burger and that is going to be a major meal, but the 1/4 pounder is suited for a normal order. When ordering, you choose what you want on your burger so each order is a custom prepared burger just for you. Their onion rings are great but the fries win the battle of sides. Their freshly squeezed lemonade is also very good. And for the kids, it is an easy task to get them to wash their hands with the robo washing machine that you just put your hands in and they are cleaned quickly.

I like burgers. Not that I am a total carnivore, but I really like a good burger. And these folks make a great burger. I like them better than almost anywhere in Austin. The ambiance of the place, not so much. This is really a jeans or shorts and t-shirt kind of place. But the burgers and fries are really good. The fixins' are fresh and plentiful. The fries are done, not limp and soggy like some places. And they have some taste to them. the meat is fresh and the burger seems medium well done. I like them. They push people through the order line fairly quickly, even on a crowded Saturday with gobs of kids in line. If the process seems similar to Rudy's it is because the same folks are behind it which is a good indication of the positive quality of the product. I really like their burgers.
Not sure why this burger chain gets such high ratings
Not sure why this burger chain gets such high ratings. Our food was average at best and was really really greasy. Staff was so very friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean, but the food – eh, not so great. And it was pricey for a burger joint. We will not be returning.
