This was a bad experience from the moment we walked through the front door for lunch. First, there was no hostess at the station. We waited and waited, and then heard someone speaking to us from the dining room that he would be with us soon, but he was talking on his cell phone. Eventually someone did come along to seat us but I did not appreciate that he was displaying a mask hanging from his chin. Since wearing masks is clearly optional it makes no sense not to wear it correctly, which means covering both the mouth and nose. Anything less is disrespectful since no one will be protected from a mask that is not worn correctly. Second, we waited and waited for a server to take our order. After 21 minutes someone stopped by to tell us she would be back soon. So we waited some more. Fortunately, when she returned she was very polite, calm, and attentive in a way that put us at ease. Third, the Osso Buco, that is advertised as "slow cooked" not only took nearly 50 minutes for lunch when the place was not that busy, arrived at our table appearing completely charred as if it was deep fried. Although the inside was indeed tender, the outer bark was totally destroyed by some inept cook who really should be fired since I ended up rejecting the meal and sent it back to the kitchen. The manager kindly removed the meal from our bill and because our server was truly wonderful among this dung heap of a restaurant, I made sure to tip her especially well based on the original total.

This restaurant has a lot of seating even on busy nights. Seating is quick and the hostess was great. The server even better. It's a very convenient location with great parking. Give it try.

I was in town for business and was looking for a place to spend the rest of the day. I had just got into town after the long flight from Phoenix. This place was right next to my hotel so it was perfect. It also was a Sunday during football season and their was a good crowd there. Definitely a busy spot. That usually means something. They have these chicken finger things called Zingers. They are super bomb! I think the flavor was Asian something. I wish they had one of these spots in Phoenix.

Have been to Miller's twice before, since they opened a few months ago. The first visit was during opening week, and the staff was brand new, with tons of management people walking around asking if everything was all right. Other than being out of a few items - due to opening - the food and service were good. The second visit - a few weeks after opening - the service was a lot slower - due to the kitchen being backed up - but the food was still good. I had osso bucco and the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone. Our last visit - and I mean it will absolutely be the last - was this past Saturday. The open kitchen was total chaos. The servers were lined up in front of the kitchen counter waiting for food, and the panic showed on the cooks faces. Our friends are in the restaurant business, and spotted the food ordering screen where most of the orders were highlighted in red. That means the order was placed L-O-N-G ago. I ordered the osso bucco again , expected the same good meal as our last visit. After a 45 minute wait, my meal arrived, and I knew at once that something was wrong. The meat was like rubber, and looked like it had been deep fried rather than slow roasted. For the first time in my life - and we eat out at least 3 times a week - I sent food back to the kitchen. I told the server I would take a replacement only if it would not take another 45 minutes. Several minutes later, another osso bucco arrived. Same rubbery texture and fried appearance. My friend said they probably fried it since the kitchen was backed up. I sent the second one back and did not order anything else. The manager came over to apologize and of course removed the item from our check. The servers are good there, but there is a definite problem in the kitchen. It was like a scene out of a comedy movie, where they were totally confused. The restaurant was busy, but not totally full, so I think management needs to fix this, or they will not survive. I know there are only a few reviews here, but I have talked to lots of people who have had a lousy experience at this restaurant.

I was having Lunch at the Ale House in Hunters creek, when the manager decided to take tape off of the wall by the TV's at the Bar. It was left over from the football season. There were guest sitting at the bar as he was reaching over them to get it off with a pair of pillars. I asked him if he really had to do that now and he replied "why yes I do. Even though he was pulling stuff off hat was falling down on the bar. This guy has NO consideration for the guest and I doubt he has ever been in F&B before getting this job. Was he even thinking about what he was doing. I don't think so. Just STUPID If Any of you would like to chat about this please call me. 407-409-2474

We’ve been to Miller’s Ale House several times and have always enjoyed the meal. Today was no different although the air conditioning was not working that well when we first arrived probably due to the fact that it was 100° outside. We were seated by family hostess and our waitress was very nice, took our order and got our order out right away. I enjoyed the mahi sandwich blackened and my colleague enjoyed the apple walnut salad. The onion rings are also very good.

Ate here with friends. We had a very good waitress, Rita. The appetizers of pretzel & cheese and potstickers were good & came out hot. My entree was blackened salmon & it was very good. If in area we would eat here again. Very good for a chain restaurant.

We went to Miller’s Ale House for dinner on Friday night before the Electric Light Orchestral concert. We got seated right away our server came over right away and took our drink order then food orders . The wait was not long our food came out right and got our server was very good and the prices are good. We had a very good dinner would definitely go back next time I’m in Philadelphia

Hello, I just want to inform you about me and my husband dinner on Thursday Night at your 2100 S Columbus Blvd location in Phila Pa It was simply awful. We came for the Thursday Night Prime Rib Special – we both order the Prime Rib, baked Potato and Salad. Well the salad looked old and some of the lattice was black, my prime rib was hard and I mean hard I asked for it to be med/well, I couldn’t eat it because it was just that bad. The only thing that was good was the very small baked potato and that was cold. We will not be coming back to this location for what we had to pay for bad food.

My family and I stopped here for lunch after spending some time looking across the street at the red, white, and blue ocean liner. After seeing that Longhorn had a wait time, this was our plan B. The food was good, the place is clean, and the service was nice too. First up, the food. The most important part for sure! I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries and the Zingers (pretty much a boneless chicken wing). They were both very good and had lots of flavor. The pricing was also not terribly bad either ($9.99 for a big burger with fries). Everyone else in my family also enjoyed their meals. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next, cleanliness. There is nothing that needs to be said here. This place was more than fine with cleanliness. No bugs were found in my food (this has happened to me before at other restaurants). The food was warm, dishes seemed washed, everything of that sort was all good. Also, very importantly, the bathrooms are clean. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Finally is the service. Our waiter was super nice and had a great attitude. The speed that our food came out at was perfectly fine at less than fifteen to twenty minutes. For 12:30pm at lunch time, there was no wait, which was a pleasant surprise. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 It was a decision we all made as a family that we will be back to a restaurant in the chain for sure, we really enjoyed ourselves a lot. The food was good, cleanliness is great, and the service was fantastic too. If I was in the area again, I would eat here. Also, I would recommend the place to others that would be in the area.

Great place for kids as well as adults, very good kids menu Ribs & sweet potato fries are delicious, calamari is tender and cooked just right, servers are very friendly prices are good, nice casual atmosphere, would defiantly recommend!

Miller ale house has some of the best crab legs I ever tasted the shrimp are some of the best too and the prices are unbelievably I let my grandude select from the adult menu because of the price we go back often and thr service from top to bottom is fantastic

Food and service was great... Good food with good company and good service.. what more could you ask for

The new Miller's Ale House on Columbus Blvd is a great destination for dinner after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant stays open late on Sundays, till midnight, and is a great choice with a family friendly menu. The zingers mountain melt is a great start with their steak and steak sandwiches holding their own in the cheese steak capital. Reasonably priced, very family friendly, and tons of T.V.'s for every sporting event. Enjoy!

Went there 3x already and the food and service was always good. Moderately priced. According to my husband they were the best ribs he ever had! Even better than when he went to Memphis,TN

I placed an order via Door Dash and the food arrived cold. It was not remotely warm at all. So to me it seems like the food had been prepared a long time before the Door Dash delivery person got there. The baked potato was hard as a rock. The cheese was morphed on there. The butter wasn't real butter. I'm not too sure what it was. The baby back ribs didn't have any sauce on them. The prime rib burger had a piece of prime rib on it that was the size of a quarter. I ordered a donut dessert that tasted like straight grease as if the oil wasn't hot enough when they were placed in there. $58 for food that wasn't edible is a hard pill to swallow. I definitely will not order from there again.

It depends on what time you go. We got there about 2 pm. No wait time. Yay! The place is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. The food Blacken Salmon, loaded potato and coleslaw was awesome. The vegetable medley was not good at all. We didn't get any drinks just lemon water. No bread is given. The waitress was good. We all ate about the same thing. My cousin did try the broccoli. She said it was good. It was 4 of us and the price was not bad at all. I'm going back to try other food on the menu.

We had dinner, both of us ordering the grilled salmon. This sports bar has a great menu with lots of choices. We thought the salmon was good, considering not a likely dish for a sports bar & the house salad was large & delicious was/ tomatoes & cucumber. Shaw, our waitress provided good service & there are lots of tv screens around the restaurant to catch your fav sports. We would return to this spot.

This Ale House serves decent beers in a huge setting. The thing to remember, however, was the super BAD service. At check time, FOUR servers were talking amongst themselves, paying NO attention whatsoever to patrons. This crowned the pitiful effort for the lunch crowd.

Went here for lunch, great food and service. Highly recommend! It was fairly busy but the management was very accommodating.

Thirteen of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Servers were very friendly. Food was excellent, and the big screen TVs were playing a very interesting program.

It's a good location before a game. Large parking lot and the only real restaurant anywhere around. Lots of bar room and tvs. Mostly fried bar food which is nothing special. More about the location than anything else

Tried the one on the boulevard, was disappointed after the buffalo shrimp didn't libe up to the ones I had in Orlando. Still chasing a dream, I decided to try the South Philly location, only to be let down again. I will visit Miller's Ale again for a burger or the cajun chicken pasta..., but I guess the good shrimp were a one time thing.

July 27th 2018 1:30pm we were promptly seated right away by the hostess. Then waited 10 minuets and no service not even to say I will be with you or to be offered any water or anything. The place was not crowded Les than half full. So we just left no one stopped us or asked any questions so we went to another restaurant. Never had a problem with service at other ale houses this was the first time at this one.

It there was a way to rate this place a “O” star, we would do that!!!!! We were SUPER disappointed!!!! It shouldnt take over 45 minutes to make a medium prime rib (esp if it is served medium); it shouldnt take over 1/2-hr to flip a well-done burnt burger, and it shouldnt take 1/2 hr to make a kid’s burnt mini burgers. I blame the cooks in the kitchen and poor kitchen manager’s service. I watched the one short order cook who paced back and forth nibbling and grabbing on food (most likely taking our kids fries off of plates). Overall experience was poor. I believe Management should reconstruct cooks in know how to speed up the orders and more attentive in satisfying customers. We will not return to this location.

Went here as the Longhorn was empty but not seating to to staffing issues. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food came out quick and hot. The zingers were excellent. Also loved the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. We’ve never been to a Miller’s before but we enjoyed it.

Perfect place to spent time. Hot welcome. Good food. Place really warm and staff really friendly. Big parking and nice music. Great....

Been patron it first opened but in recent years its gone downhill! Food is not as good cook staff screw up often! You might be ok w/ nachos burgers wings but fagedsboud entrees esp steaks! The med well like a dried up hockey puck u try “medium” & it bleeds and moos all on your dish.. & tasteless like today! We sat 15 mins had to find our server. The meal either i speak another language or she cant hear or cooks give you what THEY want but i ordered fries - got baked potato.. but then i see the blood from steak to me thats -med rare but ok … then i asked for a Caesar salad what do i get a reg salad with tomato cheese & watery ranch dressing😳 the wait is long for your meal come out & we almost always go mid day not peak hours or nites god i can only imagine at games or nites!!! .. anyhow about to give up on this place last six or more visits have be some issue each time.,, food or staff!!

On 11/18/17 I wanted a descent lunch without having to go for fast food. We were near Miller's Ale House on Columbus Blvd and decided to give it another try. We had already been there three times. First when they opened last year...and had a great meal. Then twice again. One the service was terrible, the other time the food was terrible. I have dined at Miller's in NJ and have always enjoyed the experience. But something is very wrong at this location. Many of our friends have had similar experiences. On Saturday at approx. 1:30 pm we walked into Miller's. There were only a few cars in the parking lot , so i was hoping they were not crowded and that the prior poor service would not be an issue. The restaurant was less than 1/3 full, and the hostess proceeded to seat the people who walked in ahead of us. She never came back to the entrance. We waited five minutes or so, and then a gentleman- possible the manager, came up front and said he would have a table ready in five minutes or so. That was it, I thought he was kidding ! The place was empty and yet we were told we had to still wait for a table. Combined with our prior experience, we immediately left to save ourselves another dreadful experience at this location. We went next door to Long Horne and had a great meal. Corporate need to fix whatever is wrong at Miller's So. Philly, or just close it. It is a busy area where a well -run establishment could do vey well.

They have daily specials for drinks. The Sangria is great and you can get a pitcher for $10.00. Tequila shots for $2.95 It was reasonable and refreshing. My best friend had the calamari and I had the chicken fingers and onion rings. The food was good and not expensive. The service was good. The waitress did not hover over us but was helpful when needed. The total bill was inexpensive and the atmosphere was nice. They have sports on varies monitors for your entertainment. Parking is free and plenty of it. Great place for Happy Hour!

Went here with friends for a late dinner. Our server was friendly and quick about taking our order. Took forever to get our food. Everything was over done. One of the guys chicken had so much dry old bay on it that he had to scrape it off to make it edible. If it hadn't taken so long to get it we would have sent it back. It was late and we just wanted to eat and get going. Won't eat there again.

love Miller's never been to one but was glad to see it as a new option to the area at Columbus Blvd in Philly. Been going for over 2 mos or since it opened.. terrific food at a decent price & great service. Their Steaks are so tender juicy cuts my fiancé says no sense even heading over the bridge to outback,(though a onion pile or frazzled thing might make him even happier if on menu) The burgers are awesome with that char grilled taste I find delicious the make your own & some special burgers the other appetizers are really good, The place is usually crowded but u are able to be seated quickly, great service .. friendly staff. Only tip slightly negative side is if loud talk u find annoying avoid sitting in the room w/tables around the bar. The TV's are a bit overkill LOL buy hey its philly & u cant have enough sports events going at one time.. Check it out.. for my taste Great also is daily set specials one ea day list at table. Prime Rib nite the steak was awesome..Another nite had Surf Turf kind of meal ..thumbs up.. Again never heard of Miller's Ale but sure glad it made its way to Philly!! Oh and one really big positive for any OUT of TOWNERS - its in a area where there is ample parking without having to pay or search like in center city or other areas of south philly.

In town for Donor Dash & had eaten here last year, so an easy decision for us. Good service, good food & good prices once again. I had the chicken Caesar salad & it was delicious & large. My bf had the cobb salad & it also was good. We will return when in the area.

Food was good, got my husband's order wrong but fixed it in a timely manner. All the televisions for sports games is nice.

My friends and I go here often for lunch and we haven’t been disappointed yet. I love the veggie fajitas and the shrimp choices as well. You can also get a drink that’s not watered down for under $10. (I go for the Manhattans.) Athough I do not eat red meat my friends rave about the Osso Bucco and the burgers. Take the children as well, the kids menu has plenty choices even for picky eaters.

Excellent service and the food was very good. The appetizers were great and super good. Too long the wait will be the only thing to say that we didn't like. We wait 1 hour to be seated. But worthy !

The food in this wonderful restaurant was truly outstanding and worth the experience. The server Naajah T is an exceptional professional who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The chef did an exceptional job of preparing truly delicious food. The food was affordable and just plain awesome and prepared to perfection. I’ll be frequently coming back to this excellent restaurant on future trips to Philadelphia.

I’ve had the opportunity to dine at Millers Ale House- South Philadelphia with my wife, son and his wife. Although I’ve only eaten here a few times, my son and his dine here quite often. The food was excellent! According to my son this place is very consistent and he has yet to have a negative experience. GREAT! However, the purpose of this review is to rave about our sever, Ameera. She was knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Her customer service skills are off the chart. And she does it all effortlessly. Truly, I cannot say enough about this amazing young lady. No doubt, we will return.

This was our first visit to this location and since they are relatively new we may give them another chance. I ordered the osso bucco and it was flash fried which made it dried out. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and so did the brown gravy. My husband ordered the chicken parm and it was burnt on the bottom of both pieces. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not overly busy so there was no excuse why the food arrived the way it did. Like I said the restaurant has only been opened for less than a year so I'm giving them a 3 otherwise it would have been a 2.

Doing some shopping in the area and decided to check this out. Glad we did. Chose the fish & chips and the 6oz sirloin with a reasonable bottle of Malbec. All in all a good lunch location.

Great food. Great location from our hotel at Penns Landing. The service was great and the food was wonderful. Pricing was perfect and a nice relief from eating in the city for a couple days. Kids loved all the TVs around
Christmas party with family
We dine in millers for a family get together and millers did not disappoint the server/bartender was all around and was very tentative through out our whole experience. Kudos to millers!!
