You can spend all day shopping and eating in various resturants in the local area. There is a lot of sight seeing too.

We would have stayed longer and ate more but we already had our eyes on another restaurant for dinner so we had something light. This place does have a touristy feel but that’s ok for us as it at least has some spirit. It was lively fun and everyone seemed happy. It was expensive but then again Seattle is expensive.

Stopped in here after the great wheel. The place is right on the Puget Sound waterfront, and has a lot of entertainment for kids. It is mostly tourists, and the food here is pricey but has average service and food.

This is a must for any tourist. There are so many fun shops and great restaurants as well as a spectacular view.

Really enjoyed all the life-sized figurines. Some were funny enough to pose with, some very close to the real person.

Miners Landing has several shops, the Crab Pot restaurant, and most importantly the Giant Ferris Wheel. It's a good place to stop before or after you take a harbor cruise, which is located nearby.

Went in here to check everything out and it's pretty much what you'd expect from a tourist-oriented family spot - arcades, games, colors, and loud noises.

Walked over from Pikes Market. Rode the ferris wheel with our four-year-old grandchild. It was fun. Also bought tickets for the carousel ride and was disappointed by the long wait. There was no one on the carousel and the employees ignored us until we asked what the problem was. We were the only ones with tickets and given their attitude I can see why.

We are from the midwest, so when we came to eat here we were looking for some fresh fish and we found it!! It was very good!! The location is right on the water and the decor was very comfortable. The employees were very nice and helpful. Really can't ask for much more!! I do recommend this place but I save the 5 stars for only the best. Would definitely eat here again!!

we went here to the seattle sourdough company 4 times durring the weekend. we had the best clam chowder i have ever had and sourdough rolls. the we bought sour dough bread twice too. they were friendly and easy to deal with.

Place is crowded and over price. We were in the bathroom line for 10 minutes, at the door and a female supervisor told us we had to leave as the bathroom needed toilet paper we ask her to please let us use the restroom, she said NO "And if you do not move right now I have the right to remove you from the property". We left not a place we will ever go back.

I enjoy Miners Landing. There are great shops, restaurants, the BIG WHEEL and in the back(or at the end of the dock) there is an old fashion feel of arcade/circus games and treats. A must visit is the Alaskan Sourdough Bakery inside. We did not have time to visit there, this trip. Make sure to stop in with a bit of an appetite and enjoy :)

This store is certainly a tourist trap but it also has some really neat items that are equally entertaining for locals. I was able to find some really fun things for Christmas Stockings and leafed through some fun cookbooks, too. Ecclectic selection of items for all ages.

This is definitely one of the tourist centres in Seattle, with it's ferris wheel and merry-go-round. The kids run around with cotton candy, so it seems like it's probably fun for kids. We went there to find lunch and there were choices in the food court. We ended up in the Fisherman's Restaurant, which had a 20 minute wait for OK food. There were washrooms for the public, which are useful for tourists, and it's close to the aquarium. We walked along the sea walk after lunch, which was nice, despite the current construction.

Miners Landing is a great tourist spot on the waterfront. Pier 57 has tons of fun things to do, the wheel, carousel, lots of shops, arcade, great restaurant (crab pot), souvenir shops and lots of room inside if you get stuck outside in the rain. although it was fairly busy, it was not crowded and lots of great spots for photos as well.

We wandered through Miner's Landing after riding the Ferris wheel. There was just the two of us and we hadn't stopped here to find a restaurant, have a beer, get an ice cream cone or ride the carousel. So we didn't linger for any of the opportunities. I camps see how this would be good place to spend some time with kids, looking for a snack or enjoying a brew on the deck. It certainly seems to be well done.

I ordered the just the hamburger and fries combo on the menu coz i was super hungry from walking around. I only had to wait for a good 10-12 mins and i was stuffed. Super good food and the price is on the ok side specially the location. I thought the place would be packed on a weekend but it was not at all so i was so glad. Anyone walking around the water/bay are definitely worth stopping for some bites in here.

There are only a few places in the world where you get the old charm of a place by the water, carousel, a fly over Washington attraction (wow!!), the Fisherman seafood restaurant , Ferris wheel, scents of cotton candy, taste of sourdough, great retail shop, clam chowder and so on. My wife and I had a fabulous time. It all reminders me of my very young days where one would go to a park to enjoy such. But this is Seattle, by the water. Go in the evening and walk through it till about the sunset and then ride the Ferris wheel. Then we took the flying attraction and then dinner. We fell in love again. Great afternoon to evening. Easy parking by the place thought expensive and hard to get a lot. Family owned. Good job. Wish there are more like this.

This is a great place to walk around. Take in an ice cream cone, eat some clam chowder and definitely take a ride on the 175' tall Ferris Wheel. It's climate controlled and 100% inclosed

We stopped at Miners Landing two days in a row as it's about the only place with bathrooms in the area (not counting restaurants.) It's on the second level and it's technically a food court. Would recommend to have plenty of time when you stop - the restaurants were not fast by any means in delivering your food. At one place they actually ran out of bread so we had to get a refund on our sandwich! There are plenty of tables - inside and outside- if you are looking for a stop to rest your feet. The bathrooms are ok - you can tell they are heavily used and show signs of wear and tear. Overall it's an ok place to stop for a bottle of water and to use the bathroom, maybe rest your feet. I think there are lots of other food places I would try over this place.

I'm from Vancouver, and I wish we had something like this that operated year round. I thought it was nice to just be able to casually walk around with the option to go and do a little ride and to check out other random attractions. I like this!

It was an interesting place. As a couple in our 30's it wasn't totally our thing, but if you are older or have children, they would enjoy the giftshops, arcade area, and sweets.

Cool place where you'll find the ferris wheel, Wings over Washington and the carousel ride and it's all in one location. Cool photo opts, with restaurants and shops.

I enjoyed the carousel here, which gives a beautiful view of the water. It is right next to the Seattle aquarium. Including the miners landing it is a great area in Seattle to bring kids.

Relaxing place with a good choice of restaurants. We chose The Crab Pot where the seafood is excellent though a bit costly. Service here was good, and atmosphere is very relaxing. I ate here before on a Summers evening...yummy!

Miners Landing has the Seattle Great Wheel and other attractions as well as plethora of touristy shops and colorful people. It can provide hours of people watching, shopping and eating...come and enjoy. One caution, parking in the area is a pain and there is some construction going on.

Nice place to spend the day as long as weather is good, pleanty to walk around to see, if you want coffee, bam its there, ice cream its there, good food its there.

Nice place, well maintained and lots of places to eat and things to do. Walkable from downtown. Long line up for Crab Pot

Not far from Pike Place to Pier 57 Miners Landing if walking. Fun attraction located on the waterfront. You will discover restaurants, gifts shops, arcade, carousel and the Seattle Ferris wheel. Most people young and old will enjoy Miners Landing. We didn’t eat here. However, we did tour the shops.

We decided to eat outside to enjoy the nice weather and view. The service was average and the food was good but nothing spectacular. Family friendly but we were on date night.

I did not eat here, we had snacks! The Miner's Landing Pier houses a wonderful Carousel and really fun atmosphere however, they need to display their seaman carvings better and the tucked away places need to have fun games, displays etc. Spiffy it up and make it more attractive and fun!

I visited for the first time in February 2023. It was a good place to go as the weather was poor. There are a few restaurants inside, as well as a few gift shops and an arcade. The entrance to Seattle Great Wheel is also down here. When the sun is shining, it is a really nice place to walk. The aquarium is also near here.

Just a nice walk and beautiful sites. Interesting stores with typical souvenir merchandise but the view off the piers and the fresh ocean air is what you go to Seattle for. The Big Wheel is worth the price for the view. Much better than the space needle right now as that is under construction.

Ate at the sour dough bakery/restaurant for lunch. Also had the grandchildren ride the indoor carousel. Pay for your child/grandchild to ride. Parents ride free to supervise children.

This is a building on the waterfront with restaurants and shops. The Crab Pot restaurant takes up much of the building. There is also a pinball gallery with several machines, a small Merry Go Round, an ice cream shop and a restaurant with quite a few stuffed animals heads. You can purchase tickets for the Salish Sea Tours outside near the Crab Pot.

We were here before everything opened up but still had a good time taking pictures and walking around. There are lots of wooden fun statues to take photos of you and your family by them. That's what we did. Lots of street performers.

We enjoyed walking through the one leveled shopping area. It is close the Big Wheel, so went for a walk & found a few novelty items for the grandkids. You also have the option of picking a restaurant if you need.

We walked over to the Miners Landing and pier to check it out but it was nothing that special to see and all the vendors were not even opened for business

This pier is very historic but in present day (June 2015) other than having a nice carousel, the Miners Landing Crab Pot Restaurant and The Seattle Great Wheel I did not find very much to see and visit. Lots of families with children were enjoying the carousel and many folks were lined up waiting to eat at the Crab Pot restaurant. We were there to ride The Great Wheel and it was an outstanding ride. We did walk along the sea wall for a ways but on-going road construction makes the area difficult to walk around. I did see some mimes and buskers about and they were fun to watch. It is an okay place to visit but not outstanding.

If you want to play video games or ride a carousel, this is the place for you. Otherwise they have a few restaurants we didn’t try. I would pass on this specifically

Miner's Landing has improved over the years. If you're out and about, you need to stop in. It offers shops and restaurants on multi levels. I enjoyed walking through the front store, I believe its called pirate's Plunder. It has so many fun things inside. The building also has an ATM and clean public restrooms. The restrooms are up a couple flights of stairs. I didn't notice if it has an elevator, but I'm sure they do. There was a line in the restroom that led out the door so prepare for a wait. The soap dispensers were like those old Tupperware mustard and ketchup squirt bottles. Beware, it you squeeze them, half of the pink soap will come rushing out onto your hands. The waterfront has street performers and generally just an interesting crowd. Really fun vibe. You should go here if you're waiting for a tour, ferry ride or the great Wheel. even Pike Place market is near. for those who have disabilities, look for the elevator!

We were playing tourist and had a nice time on the wheel, our friend did the other ride and said they enjoyed it. The veiw from the wheel is nice. We went during sunset and it was beautiful

We had a very long lay over in Seattle so we went down to Miners Landing and wandered around for the evening in December around Christmas time and it was a great time with lots of cool little restaurants and shops

There’s a bunch of arcades and other small attractions at Miners Landing. We used the carousel, it was $6.93 (after taxes) to ride. The place isn’t too busy during the week in the summer. The seattle great wheel (Ferris wheel) is right outside. The pier is also very nice.

Had a chance to take the flying over Washington new ride...fantastic photography covering the state in about five minutes.

Walk around, shop, dine, people-watch, and pier-hop. Sort of the hub of the waterfront. Worth a visit.

This is a cool destination with rides, and restaurants. We came for the rides and saw where there is a Totem Pole workshop where someone is making a real totem pole. Fun

Houses a few shops, nice carousel, Crab Pot Restaurant and The Seattle Great Wheel. It is an okay place to visit but not outstanding.

we like going here we have lots of fun and we love seeing the mummy and all the little stuff we buy for family and friends

The Miner's Landing in along the Seattle Waterfront area near Pier 57. It houses several restaurants, shops and attractions including the Seattle Great Wheel (the ferris wheel) and an Arcade. It is also near the Seattle Aquarium and Waterfront Park. It's fun for a walk through or to get a meal when you are in the waterfront area.

A short walk from Pike Place Market, down to the waterfront, and you'll find Miner's Landing. It is a lovely area along the water with stores and restaurants. Very well done with lots of family activities such as a ferris wheel and merry-go-round.

Was very disappointed with this place, not particularly clean, and staff very unhelpful. Only had a drink then left. One star for view & location

This place houses atleast four seafood restaurants including the famous Crab Pot. It also has game arcade, carousal, and gift shops. This is like a mini market in the waterfront.

Enjoyed a few good seafood meals while visiting Seattle. Great service and very fresh shrimp, and crab legs.

We spent several happy hours here on our vacation to Seattle,on our visit there was a native American dance competition which was sensational to watch. There is food available at reasonable prices and the ferris wheel ,if you want a birds eye view.

We had read about Miners Landing in a magazine and decided to go for an afternoon/evening while visiting Seattle. We enjoyed the Pirates Plunder shop, and window shopping. There is a carousel for the kids, ice cream shop, the Big Wheel and the Wings Over Washington ride. It was very smoky, so we didn't feel the cost was justified for the Big Wheel. We did go on the Wings Over Washington experience which was a lot of fun. There are several dining options on the pier. We picked the Fishermans Restaurant and Bar and it was excellent. This is a very touristy attraction, but we expected that, and it has some unique things to do for all ages.

The pier area was crowded, but we found this place with a pleasant view of the waterfront. Their sign on the sidewalk advertised fried oysters and that was what we had and they were good! We ate outside and watched "The Big Wheel" and lots of other activities. Since we ate outside, this was not a fancy and clean plate, but ok. You place your order and pay at a bar and then food was delivered to our table. There were lots of families around, so a little loud, but good boardwalk atmosphere. This got us in the mood for boarding the cruise ship next day.

Good choice. Historicaly interesting. Cool attractions and stores. Good food. A fun place to visit. Cool for family and friends.

Not alot there, not alot of reason to visit to be honest with you. There are a few restaurants, some shops and not much more.

There are a bunch of things to do here but my favorite is to get ice cream. The last I got coconut, it was god and even had pieces of coconut in it. The time before that I got huckleberry and my boyfriend loves the plain chocolate they have so he usually gets that.

A big wheel and merry-go-round with okay shops. We ate at the crab pot and it was terrible. The whole place is over-rater as far as I see it.

With the wheel and shopping, this is a great area to visit. Would recommend if your in the area! Neat and clean.

We walked past this going into the crab pot and figured it would be a good stop for dessert. We couldn’t be more impressed - it in my book beats cold stone. It is a lot for one person. We got the coffee caramel in the brownie cup and the ice cream literally has little nuggets of caramel in it. Like a mcgriddle with syrup that doesn’t overwhelm, but delightfully surprises. The brownies were nothing special, but nothing to complain about. If you aren’t a whip cream fan though make sure to let them know because they TOP you off to the highest possibl!

Neat place to dine, there are many choices. Scenic dining area. Nice music playing. The sucky part are the restrooms.

This is a great place if you want to get some food when you are down on the waterfront. They have a food court up on the 3rd floor and a couple of full service restaurants. The great wheel is just of the back of the pier. They have a souvenir shop selling all things Seattle.

Nice area to walk around, shops, restaurants, etc. Street performer outside was fun to watch ! Some things were closed down to COVID when we were there though.

We spent a couple of hours down here and it's really a great spot. There are some souvenir shops and restaurants, as well as the Great Wheel. There were also a lot of vendors that were set up in tents along the sidewalk out front.

So many things to see and places to eat. Even recreational activities like the big wheel. Great get away on the waterfront.

Went with my sister (70, I'm 65) and we had a fun time! Pleasant friendly staff. Visited on a Friday afternoon and the wait was manageable for both the wheel and the carousel. You can have beer in line. A choice of restaurants, arcade, ice cream. A fun place for all ages and neat views of Ranier, ferry, Mariner Field, etc.

Expected more from this stop but it's cute enough. Right down on the water with seafood restaurants and the Carousel Wheel..

We wandered in on a Tuesday evening after riding the big wheel. We were hoping to find somewhere to eat but the cafes were all busy with queues waiting for tables so we kept moving. Life size models of a few film stars, but my overall impression is that it needs sprucing up - but that maybe because of all the people there. Best for us was the Pirates Plunder gift shop.

There's a lot of great restaurants in here we ate at the crab pot it was awsome the also have other spots in there to eat and places to shop and games for the kids and a huge ferris wheel.

We stopped in here before we went on the great Seattle wheel. The sourdough roll I bought was as delicious as it looked. Stop in!

Went here with friends of all ages. Choice of burgers, steak, chicken etc we had a variety of meals and enjoyed eating them outside where you could see the whole bay.

This is a pier with a few rides, arcade, shops and restaurants. Worth a visit if you're passing but not sure I'd make it my end destination (unless you're going to one of the restaurants).

Exploring at your own pace, seek your own interests. Walk hand in hand the shops, the food, the docks.Grab an ice cream on the boardwalk, listen to the street musicians, watch the boats on the water. Many places to eat to chose from. The free Seattle Shuttle that operates until Nov has their transfer station right in front of one of the tour boats you can book. Check out Ye Olde Curiosity Shop Gift Ye down one of the side streets. It is a store and a museum. Antiquities and oddities on display, so look up, too. Walk to the Big Wheel or the the Flight Over Seattle

We had some drinks and rode the Wings Over Washington ride, it was a little short for the $19 price but it was very cool!! Loved the smells they filter in.

Not a whole lot to see but a fun quick stop if you're in the area. It's close by to a lot of other attractions so it's convenient. I loved the statues!

We enjoyed it at Miner's Landing more than Pike's Market...but that probably had more to do with the fact that this place is not crowded at all. There are things to do (the Great Wheel, Wings over Washington, a carousel), places to eat, and places to shop. If youw ant to escape the Seattle crowds, this is a good place to do it. Bathrooms are also clean and you if you sit on the pier, you can always watch the myriad of jellyfish in the water below.

Outstanding place to visit. The Great Wheel, flying over WA, carousel, sourdough bread, ice cream, seafood, on and on. Amazing management. Had so much fun!

There is a carousel and food places in there and 1 gift shop. The Seattle Great Wheel is also here. Overall a bit run down, but if you want food there are a few options. Wouldn't plan on spending any big amount of time here.

I'm not impressed with the wheel. It has wonderful views, but the ride is short, and they don't fill many baskets in spite of the large crowd. The ride was only the turns with one loading round. The price was somewhat high for such a short ride. Also, the staff was not very friendly.

We went to Miners Landing on a Tuesday, so it wasn't very crowded. We strolled around on the pier, rode the Ferris Wheel, ate at a great little pizza place in the food court, got some cotton candy, played a couple of arcade games, rode the carousel and then just sat outside at one of the tables, soaking up some sun. We had so much fun just relaxing and taking in the sights. The kids loved it!

The WINGS at Miners Landing was a wonderful 4D experience giving great views of the region & understanding of the history, besides being a great ride. It is worth the $24. The WHEEL was $23 & nice, but probably something I would skip in the future.

The food court was closed when we arrived on a Wednesday around 5 pm. Left only two restaurants as choices. Gift shops have Seattle goodies. Be sure to stroll around before dinner, other pier locations closed at 5 or 6. Lots of construction around the area. Next to the Aquarium.

I went here with my six year old daughter, they have a carousel inside that you can ride while you get ice cream, visit the gift shop, or wait to be seated for dinner at the restaurant, all of which we did. The prices were fair and the ride was really fun for my daughter. It's just a fun little place to be!

Fun tourist spot on Puget Sound, Lots to see and to do. I'd suggest this stop if you need a place to get out of the rain or sun

After walking for several hours I decided to have some lunch. I ended up at mariner's landing and had a clam chowder. Not the best one I ever ate but it was good. There are a few shops but while doing research on the internet before my trip this area was compared to Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. To my assumption this comparison is incorrect. Fisherman's wharf is definitely better than this place. So I actually was a bit disappointed. Nevertheless I would suggest to at least see this place when you are in downtown Seattle.

We discovered this small ice cream shop while walking through the landing. The ice cream was hearty and delicious, clearly the best ingredients were used. I had the Maple Walnut and my wife the Chocolate Peanut Butter. Both were fabulous. Oh, my grandson ordered a double Cotton Candy ice cream but it was too sweet for him to finish all of it, but that doesn't degrade my five stars at all. Just a matter of personal taste. Enjoy!

This is a typical tourist stop and it's fun to see ... once. The place has an old world charm - meaning wood floors and the carousel is not one you see often

Enjoyed the visit, rode the Ferris Wheel and enjoyed the views. Plenty of shops and things to do as well as nice restaurants.

If you are visiting Seattle, then you must eat at Miners Landing Crab Pot restaurant. They have excellent food and service. Located right on the sound, the restaurant is within walking distance of downtown Seattle. You can also hop in a taxi right outside of the restaurant. I ordered Crab dip as a starter. It was very good and it was delivered to our table within seven minutes. As for my dinner, I had crab as well as fish and chips. Again, our food came out in short order and tasted excellent. Our bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant provides a great atmosphere for couples, singles and large groups. I highly recommend eating here.

Had dinner in the area and wanted a quick sweet. Ice cream on boardwalk hit the spot. Nothing really special but pretty good. The huckleberry was very tasty and had nice smooth texture. Fresh waffle cone made it just right. Fair price. OK prices.

I visited Miner's Landing while in Seattle for a conference. I decided to take a look after riding the Great wheel. There are a few shops and restaurants and that is about it. The place felt a bit run-down and dirty. As many people have commented it is one of the few places for bathrooms, but they were quite dirty. If you are in the area it would be a place to walk through. But I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

Shops, sour dough bread, gift shops are all here. the area is a mess with the big hole dig but worth checking out.

Great place to spend a few hours! Great restaurants and shops! The Greatwheel is incredible!! You can see a lot of Seattle!

Outdoor seating with ok views of the water. The place had a good selection of seafood and non seafood option. I started with Oysters which although fresh and tasty, there was only one type of Oyster and the staff had no idea where they were from. The fish tacos were fairly good, although I wish they had more toppings, such as a fresh fruit salsa or something else to compliment them. My girlfriend had the crab cakes, which were nothing to write home about. A lot more breading than I am used too. Overall, not a bad option.

Very busy! Neat shops. We went on the Great wheel, it was a cool experience, they have a small bar while standing in line that gives you souvenir cups with your drink purchase. We wanted to go to wings over Washington but the line was huge so we skipped it this time, talked to people who did it thought and said it was worth the wait in line.

Sorry, I like this place better than Pikes Market (which I love). Walking the boardwalk, trying all the food, the view, now a large ferris wheel, and once the construction is done, this place will be rocking again.

Cute area to walk along Seattle waterfront. Has shops, restaurants, and statues of fisherman, etc. Nice to walk into on for warmth on a cold night.

We came upon Miners Landing as we were "exploring" on our first afternoon in town. We walked toward the giant wheel to see what was there and were pleasantly surprised by miners landing. Fund to walk around, great for people watching, and wonderful views. A number of shops and places to eat. We ate at Fishermans restaurant which was good (see review). We also stopped and got ice cream as we walked around - that was when we stepped into the tourist trap :) for "homemade" ice cream it was average at best in flavor but most certainly over priced for what it was. Go to Miners Landing. Walk around, have fun - skip the ice cream.

Definitely go for a walk around, it is beautiful and fun. Lots of shops for gifts and souvenirs. The Ferris wheel was fun even though it was raining.
Nice place, shops
Nice place to visit with the carousel playing. Lots of shops and restaurants but we picked the Fisherman, wrong choice. Pirate shop was great.
