Before checking out the Farmer's Market we stopped in to get some tea. They have select infused teas you can try out. They were amazing! They have different types of chai tea's, that were my favorite! They have a huge selection of teas, which made it hard to choose. Their service was excellent as well!

If someone says they don't like tea--take them to Miro. They have an entire book of teas and the staff is very knowledgeable. They make tea drinks that don't taste anything like tea i.e. lemonade with ice tea, green tea lattes, mojito ice teas (yum!) and chai tea. They have a small menu of food such as crepes, grilled sandwiches and some goodies. They even have PB & J for the kids.

Moro tea has great atmosphere, amazing service and great tasting grilled cheese! Their tea selection is very impressive. Everyone can find what they are looking for. More than 150 teas to choose from. Lovely music in the background. Nice furniture. Very impressive all around. Thank you!

This is my favorite tea house in Seattle for a number of reasons. The tea selection is shorter than other tea houses but obviously chosen by someone who knows what they are doing and perfectly brewed by the genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, un-pretentious staff. I absolutely love the environment in here: light, modern, and comfortable. Grab the couch if it's open! The free Wifi helps me get work done while I am there. I love that there are four sample pots brewed every day, just waiting for you to discover something new- it's how I discovered Honey Dong Ding! I am also a fan of the 1 oz. grab and go's- another convenient way to sample a potentially new favorite without committing to the 2 oz. size. The baked goods selection is better than many of the bakeries I have been to in Seattle. The chocolate croissant is perfectly buttery and flaky without being dry. Highly recommend.

I was craving a grilled cheese sandwich when someone told me the best ones are here at Miro Tea. They are in the cold case but grilled fresh while you wait. Have them add some slices of tomato and you'll be in sandwich heaven ~ !!! Love the iced green tea, too ~ !!!

It's a relaxing place to read or play Scrabble while the tea percolates on the burner. An excellent range of teas to drink in or take home. An antidote to coffee chains!

I should start by saying that I've been going to Miro about once or twice a week, give or take, for the past year. What started as a great place to drink tea while doing homework has turned into a full-on obsession with the comfortable, warm environment (don't take my favorite window seat over in the corner!) and my absolute favorite Earl Grey de la Creme. I've gotten to the point where a few of the staff actually know it's my regular order! The Traditional Chai latte, London Fog, and Coconut Vanilla Black are also great substitutes. For food, I love the Lemon Coconut scones, Blackberry Biscuits (who knew gluten free could taste so good?), and various crepes and sandwiches, like their smoked grilled cheese. All the staff members are equally friendly and helpful. Some actually seeIf the huge menu is overwhelming, just ask for a recommendation. They're all so knowledgable about their teas and what food goes well with what. They'll even ice a cup of tea for you on especially hot days if you're desperate! I've been away from Seattle for the past few months traveling, but out of all the restaurants and cafes I'm missing, I know Miro will be one of my first stops once I return. After all, why else would I have brought a three month supply of their Earl Grey de la Creme with me to the UK, arguably the tea-drinking capital of the world? :)

Had a delicious tea latte in this lovely little place. Highly recommend it if you go to Ballard

I was there by myself on a Saturday night after a long day of visiting. I enjoyed my time eating a sandwich and drinking a iced tea while I was reading a book. The ambiance is calm, you can easily work without being disturbing by the noise around you.

Stopped by for some tea with my family and really enjoyed Miro. They have tasty snacks too. My son got a gluten free cookie which was delish! Plenty of room inside and out to sit and chat. I would highly recommend Miro if you are in Ballard.

Cape Town Latte was great. A nice place to sit and get some work done. Free WiFi. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating which fills up pretty quick.

When visiting Seattle, we always like a stop at Miro Tea. The teas and treats are all delicious. A family friendly place--warm and inviting. Be sure to buy some tea to take home!

This was my first time here and it is definitely unique. Lots of different tea to choose from and even though I am a Black Tea enthusiast I decided to try their Black Tea Latte with Hemp Milk. Very different flavor then what I expected, earthy, creamy and really good. There were lots of people having lunch as well as tea and the outdoor seating was packed. Think Starbucks then take a 190 degree turn and you have Miro.

Perfect Place to meet up with friends, family, colleagues or alone! They make a delicious Black Tea Latte and Matcha Tea Latte... Tea's are beautiful. And the yummy chocolate croissants and ahhhh! the Gluten free banana bread...sooooo very good. They are fast and yet add a nice touch to everything they do. Comfortable setting. I am not the biggest fan of getting around Ballard and finding parking...but I tell you I will drive all the way from the eastside just to go to Miro Tea and drive in circles to find parking.....Yup it''s that good and worth every penny! Love Love Love!

Huge selection of various teas. They also offer several kinds of sandwiches and crepes. I was initially disappointed when I ordered a sandwich to see the the waitress reaching into a refrigerated bin for a premade sandwich only to find they were out of the sandwich I wanted. I switched my order to a crepe...Made with gluten free batter...it was delicious! It was also pretty substantial, which is why I can't review the gelatoria a few doors down!

A friend recommended this place while I was in town and I went back every day after that. The turmeric orange yea and the matcha latte were so yummy. I'm back home and miss Miro tea so much!

.. to have a devoted tea shop is such a treat. It seems to cater to a broad clientele of tea drinkers. However, because of my background I am not a seeker of chais or chai lattes etc. I have a particular preference for Darjeeling tea that this establishment has not mastered -- they source excellent tea and I was excited to see that they had first flush options. The brew was disappointing -- a large paper cup -- seemed dishonorable to treat Darjeeling that way. And they taste -- could have been anything! Did they not get the temperature right? Or the brewing time?

Who needs another latte? Miro is a favorite stop in Ballard. Their Bourbon Street Red tea makes an excellent treat and they have a selection of chais from sweet to extra spicy. Their crepes range from sweet to savory and include seasonal specials. A warm and cozy place on a chilly afternoon, with a friendly vibe from the folks behind the counter.

A local gem in the heart of historic Ballard where you can have your own pot of tea and enjoy a great book or study! With a great patio and a beautiful inside, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time alone or with friends. Tip: Sample the teas of the day at the front to figure out which ones you like!

When visiting new cities, discovering local cafes serving a good chai is at the top of my travel companion’s list. Her masala chai had enough spice and subtle sweetness for an enjoyable midday indulgence. My black tea latte was good, but a tad too sweet for my tastes, even with my request for half sweet.

What a great spot for a cuppa! Ordered several beverages and all were excellent. Great vibe. Wish I had ordered food. Next time.

While exploring the area I needed lunch and chose a Ham & Cheese Crepe and Peach Blossom organic ice tea. Especially enjoyed the crepe. The lovely day and quiet street area was like sitting on a piazza. Kitty-corner, the historic Ballard Bell struck 2:00 pm. Order at the counter, then you, too, can enjoy a pleasant outside lunch in the heart of the new old Ballard.

Wonderful concept having a cafe just for tea in a coffee-obsessed city. Great selection of curated teas that are offered in anything from cup size upwards. Staff know their tea and I'm very happy with the bulk tea that I purchased based on their recommendations.

They have an excellent selection of teas. They also offer a good variety of food items. The space is quiet and very good for conservation. All-in-all a good refuge to catch your breath and enjoy some quiet time.

I went here with a friend who is a regular the week before finals to get some much needed work done. The atmosphere was relaxing, cute little hand drawn pictures on the wall, soft music playing, small yet easy to get around. They have some tea samples set up for you to try as well as a binder full of all the different teas with a description. The staff is very friendly and will help you make the right decision as there are so many options to choose from. I had the Grilled Apple & Basil Panini -- Fresh market apples, provolone, spinach, red onion & red pepper basil aioli on Macrina potato loaf bread for $6.50, with the Traditional Chai --Black tea with cardamom and vanilla $3.50 and couldn't help myself when I saw the crépes. I got the Chocolate Haze-- Nutella, banana, toasted hazelnuts & whipped cream for $6.50. EVERYTHING was amazing. I have gone back several times since then and it is hands town the best tea and food I have ever had at a tea house. Also the Earl Grey de la Creme is out of this work amazing. The friend I went with had it and drank a whole pot by herself!!

This is a fantastic place for tea and atmosphere. If you're just looking to sit and chill with a nice oolong or be blown away by one of their tasty crepes, this is most definitely the place to be. The owners are great and the service is just wonderful. While there seems to be a bit of a wait for your drink once you order, I soon realized that it was only because they put so much time and effort into making such great beverages. Highly recommended.

I was so happy that we went to this place! I just happen to be a tea fanatic and loved the many options that they had. I tried a vanilla and peppermint hot tea, which was fantastic! We also had the green tea mojito, it was a little bit tart and sweet, the perfect combination! Also, the interior is well decorated and very peaceful. A MUST stop if you are in the area!

While at the Ballard Farmers Market we stopped in for a snack and iced tea. This little restaurant makes the most amazing iced tea. The Mojito Green Iced Tea is to die for. Lime juice, green tea and mint leaves. Could drink it all day long. VERY busy on Farmers Market day ... be prepared for lots of foot traffic. Great people watching spot!

Enjoyed the green tea chai and nutella brioche - yum!

We came for tea and a snack (fabulous Harvest loaf and cinnamon carrot loaf) with elegant teapots on tealight warmers - and stayed for lunch of grilled cheese and crepes. Soothing music, fun table set ups with a mix of comfy chairs and window corner benches and stools. Come for conversation, catch up on email, do some homework or reading, but make sure to bring an appetite. YUM!

I had green tea with latte which was very refreshing. The teas are aromatic and tempting. The ambience was great with wonderful displays of art works on walls. I liked their decor and overall a great place if you are in the mood of having tea and chilling out in light atmosphere.
Delightful Urban Teahouse
I used to frequent Miro back when I lived in Seattle and was consistently impressed with the service, the tea, and the crepes. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I still have a big bag of miro lapsang souchong that I pull out when the mood strikes for a little something smokey.
