Ms. Saigon is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. In Houston, a city with a number of good Vietnamese restaurants, this is our top choice. The vermicelli with chicken or grilled pork is exceptional as are the spring rolls. Give it a try.

Flambé Steak Cubes were AMAZING, as were the grilled pork spring rolls! Absolutely love these small family owned places...

Nice way to have an Asian experience after a week of heavy dining in Houston. A good bowl of pho and nice freshly made spring rolls. If in Houston again and in need of Asian dining, I know where to visit.

This place is a gem! Each of the four ordered an appetizer. All were delicious, especially the fried shrimp. Then, we all had an entree. All were delicious, however, the Caramelized Lemongrass Shrimp was out of this world. The baby bok Choy was so tender and tasty. Don’t miss this place and reasonably priced.

The inside of Miss Saigon Cafe is nice and cozy. The menu is a little bit more expensive than your average Vietnamese restaurant. However, this is a perfect place to take out your date.

This evening I took my son who is a freshman at Rice and two of his buddies to Miss Saigon Café in Rice Village. It's just a hop skip and a jump (well five minutes by car) and there was ample parking at Rice Village. The restaurant's décor is simple but attractive upscale for many Asian restaurants but not Houston fancy by any stretch. The food was terrific and the real deal. Have a Vietnamese iced coffee (café sua da) really great. The pork/shrimp spring rolls were super fresh and the dipping sauce tangy and spicy. I had the beef pho which came with a ton of garnish . . . bean sprouts, cilantro, sliced jalapeno. Terrific. The boys had chicken curry and beef with ginger dishes and scarfed everything down in record time. I don't think that was just because they were eating off campus. Really and truly, check out this hidden gem in Rice Village. You'll be glad you did!

I dream about this place. I'm sure everything on the menu is great, and I DESPERATELY want to try other things but I crave the cabbage and chicken salad all the time. It is so delicious. I live about 12 miles away in the burbs, and I have a hard time getting someone to go there with me because they don't know how much they love Vietnamese food! Bunch a bubbas! If you have a hunger the size of Texas, this is probably not the place for you, go to Goode Co BBQ down the street. But if - like me - you would love to eat something light and fresh without having to prepare it yourself, just go to Miss Saigon Cafe.

Nice unassuming atmosphere. I had beef in garlic sauce with rice. Very good though I prefer a spicier dish. Wife had a noodle beef and shrimp salad - also very good. We had Banana Flambe for desert - ice cream, bananas, and orange liqueur. It was really fine.

I love the beef pho in Miss Saigon Cafe at Richmond Ave. The service was good and food are tasty. Will definitely go again.

The cabbage salad is fantastic, crunchy, tasty and really good. I got it with smoked tofu instead of chicken and it was amazing. The spring rolls I also got the tofu and they were really lovely and a great meal to eat on the plane. Really nice staff, lovely restaurant.

I was in this restaurant couple times and I can recommend you pho gá (chicken soup), it is very good!

Casual and yet elegant, this is a lovely place in Houston's famous Rice Village for a lunch party. The food is authentic Vietnamese and the service is very prompt. Try the dumplings, the peanut sauce, chicken, and the variety of rice. The cold coffee on ice is brilliant ! Comes in a special decanter. The decor recalls scenes from Vietnamese life and adds colour to the cafe.

Cosy, casual and affordable, Miss Saigon offers unusually good Vietnamese soups and entrees. The spring rolls are outstanding, and you really should try the Vietnamese coffee. I have been here many times, and I consistently love Miss Saigon.

We made a reservation for a party of four at 7pm. The restaurant was empty. The table next to us was used by the waitress to sort piles of credit card paper receipts, count money, and check her smartphone. Backpacks on chairs. When complaining to the waitress she told us to sit down at another table........ If you like atmosphere beyond just food intake, go somewhere else.

First of all the restaurant is no longer at the location given here. They have moved to Richmond Ave. Very friendly staff, eager to make you happy!!! The crispy Vietnamese rolls are the best ever!!!! I would go just for those. The food is very good and at a good value, and the small restaurant ambience is grear for a single person or a couple.

Same excellent quality since first opened. Never made ahead of time. Flavorful, fat and fresh. Service is always attentive.

We routinely eat here for lunch and often times call in for take-out. Most times we always order the grilled pork rolls - tasty and filling.

First of all, the cuisine is authentic, ingredients and preparation are exemplary. Now to the other stuff… A very nice little restaurant, you can take people for business, family or even a date. The ownership and servers would appear to be family. They are polite and professional. Try everything. You won’t be disappointed!!!

We ate too much and paid for it with a 76% tip :-) For us, the price was too low for the quality of the food. We know the value of a dollar, that is why we left the tip.

Every time we are in Houston, we eat here. I always start with the spring rolls - they’re soft yet crisp and super fresh. The peanut sauce is the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. I have tried the shrimp vermicelli and the chicken curry. Both are delectable and filling. I always eat too much, but I always leave happy. One of these times I will leave room for dessert. Love this place.

Very good experience with good value for money. Pleasant service. Special atmosphere: old French songs playing on repeat :D Vietnamese cuisine is classic (no surprise!) but very well done. We ate very well during our two visits. We recommend.

This place had incredible food. I had the lemongrass chicken with rice and I ate every bit of it. It's a quaint little place with friendly staff. It closes during the day for a few hours so make sure they are open before you head that way.

My wife and I and the couple with whom we dined at Miss Saigon really enjoyed the restaurant. The proprietress took us to our table upon arrival and chatted for several minutes before passing out the menus with recommendations. Meanwhile, two young women bent over backwards to service the table. Food came quickly and was quite good. Prices were a bit high compared with Viet restaurants in enclaves of oriental restaurants around the city but fair for Rice Village. All told, an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.

Stopped in on a hot day in July. We had a seaweed salad that was a wonderful surprise. The wait staff was very kind and the food arrived quickly. My dining companion had banana pudding cake and said it was wonderful.

Every year friends and I schedule a shopping day in the village and we stop at Miss Saigon for lunch. It's always consistently good vietnamese food in a quiet atmosphere where we can relax for a bit before heading back out to the shops. The spring rolls are my favorite with the vermicelli bowls a close second. The wait staff are attentive with good service. I look forward to my next visit.

Hadn't visited the new location on Richmond, and while the decor is a bit cheesy, you can't beat the variety nor the quality of the selections. Fantastic spring rolls, and delicious lemongrass beef and caramelized ginger chicken. And if you have room , especially if you get doggie bags based upon the generous portions, try the coconut creme brûlée. May be the be best I have ever had. Great and friendly service too.

This is a new location on Richmond Ave for this restaurant. The excellent food moved with them. Service is prompt and pleasant. They have a reasonable selection of wine and beer. Ah, the food - it is the real deal. If you like Vietnamese food you will love Miss Saigon.

It is a cozy place for a date, although expensive. Never having tasted Vietnamese before, I have to say it was great and there was enough variety that even a picky eater can find something good.

This place is very small. The waitstaff are nice and attentive. It is more up-scale than the Vietnamese restaurants near downtown, but if I am looking for Vietnamese food (especially Pho) I skip this place and take the short drive to Pho Saigon.

We stopped at lunch. Quaint atmosphere. Shrimp spring rolls were great. They had fresh mind rolled inside. Had Limon chicken. It was outstanding with nut sauce. Presentation was outstanding. Size big enough for two. Very friendly staff. Free parking in garage nearby.

We were a party of 5. Great service , nice variety of foods. We all ordered different items everything was great. Portions large. And reasonably priced. One of our party had dietary restrictions. The waitress went over all items indicating which meals , sauces or other items she could eat. We will all definitely go back

We visit here about once a month. We order the Spring Rolls and the Chicken Curry. The others dishes are great but those are the favs for us. They have a wonderful staff. Consistently terrific!

We just visited the new location on Richmond avenue Same great service, food, and atmosphere I had my favorite dish, sesame Salmon Always a favorite when I want the best Vietnamese food in Houston!

Excellent surprise close to the Menil collection...the French songs bring a little nostalgia and humanity in this Houston so mineral and frigid. I feasted on a salad and nems

Great location. First time there. Lived here forever. Food was good. Atmosphere needs a makeover. Do it. This will bring in more folks and make it more pleasant.

Since we were at MD Anderson Cancer Center on our wedding anniversary we were hoping to find a nice restaurant nearby. Miss Saigon was not the "classy" place we usually go for this occasion, but it well exceeded our expectations. I have a weakness for Pho, the Vietnamese soup. It was excellent and a full meal. My wife had the vermicelli and loved it. The fresh summer rolls with pork were exceptional. I would strongly recommend this restaurant, even if you never tried Vietnamese food.
Hidden gem in the Rice Village
This one of the truly authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Houston with the parents as the chefs in the back and the kids serving upfront. The food is tasty with great variety and the service is excellent. The egg rolls are really good and the Pho is delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the location (Rice Village) and I highly recommend it for fresh tasty Vietnamese food.
