Horrible Customer Service

By Dana M |

DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS PLACE! This was by far the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service experience that I’ve ever had in my life!!!!!!!!!! And I’m pretty old. Starting with the host who was barely ever at the front area manning the host stand, I had to walk through the restaurant and find him just to get on the wait for a table list. Also their / city and state covid protocols were NOT being followed; there were people allowed in and walking around without masks, no one’s temperature was taken to enter, and no one’s information was taken for contact tracing in the 3-4 hours we were there. The process was disorganized, but we were waiting for a couple of people and heard good things about the food and drinks so we stayed. After we were seated, The waiter whose name we were told was johnathan, took 15 minutes to even come to the table. He took drink orders, those took a while also, then took 20+ minutes to come back to take our food order we literally had to flag him down. He was rude, disrespectful, dismissive, and did not care at all about the job he was there to do. Despite writing the order down our food came out incorrect. He did not know what was included in the meal. We had to ask for basic things like utensils, napkins, straws, and water. He did not check on us at all. The frozen margaritas were good. The lobster quesadilla was fresh and delicious. The rest of the food was mediocre, and we had an assortment like the wings, the lobster guacamole, and a variety of tacos, it was just ok. The rice and beans were dry and flavorless. And on top of this they are committing credit card fraud! I was with a party of 5 people. The waiter, threw the check on the table and came back in 30 seconds fir payment, sir where was this haste and energy when you were taking orders? He came back and snatch up our cards. We did not tell the waiter to nor did he ask if we wanted to spilt the check; therefore the amount charged to each card is incorrect. Also please note, Nowhere on the menu nor on any signage in the establishment was there a statement saying that gratuity is mandatory and will be added to the final bill, only suggested gratuity. He added it to everyone’s card and DID not bring back any receipts when he threw our cards on the table, we each logged into our bank accounts right then and there to see the amount. You may ask why we even let him walk away with our cards, we assumed, based on 100 percent of past restaurant transactions, that receipts would be bought back to us. I have NEVER EVER been to a restaurant or any other business where a card is swiped / charged and there is no receipt electronic or otherwise. We did not receive any receipts to sign even after we asked repeatedly. Apparently they do this frequently, it is NOT OK, we learned this from people at another table who were also asking for receipts. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that the manager had left for the day. Then the bar tender, who said that her name is Alma Perez, came over to the table claiming to be the manager. She asked to swipe our cards, AGAIN. No thank you ma’am! So not only was this matter NOT resolved, we were lied to. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau AND disputing this with my bank!

Great Location

By Lathisa H |

Cute little restaurant, loved the atmosphere. Disappointed in the drinks, AWFUL margarita for a Mexican restaurant! Food was really good, got the fajitas, burned my arm on the fajita pan. NO COVER!! Pretty pissed about that.

Interesting and fun take, on Mexican cuisine

By Christian T |

Found Miti Miti through their yelp ad, when looking for somewhere to eat after a concert in Prospect Park. The decor is colorful and vibrant, and the place was built out nicely. We were seated quickly and started making our menu choices. We opted for the octopus salad appetizer, and some coconut pineapple chicken wings. My first impression of the dishes were that they missed the mark with regards to authentic Mexican flavors. But the more that I ate, the happier I was with the meal. It no longer mattered to me whether or not The recipes were done by the book, because the favors were very nice. And if they want to put a little Caribbean twist on Mexican dishes well why not? The service was also friendly and attentive, and our server Chris went the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied. My only regret was that we could not take advantage of their cocktails, as we had already had too many before arriving, and had to drive home afterwards. We also enjoyed the music, as well as the amazing cheesecake Taquito dessert which was called Xango. Highly recommend this place for solid food and service, and a good time!

Great happy hour!

By Hgmen |

I suggested this place for dinner with some coworkers who were coming in from out of town. This place had a great happy hour on a Tuesday night, all night. $5 margaritas, mojitos, beer and wine. The margaritas were good, not great, but for 5$ I thought it was a great deal. For appetizers we had guacamole and a tuna ceviche. I'd definitely order the guacamole again, but the ceviche - not so much. Finally, for dinner I had a taco platter. The tacos were pretty good-- a little dry, even with lime. The tortilla was a flour tortilla.. I really don't like flour tortillas. Nowhere in Latin America are you offered a flour tortilla. I would've liked at least the option to choose corn tortillas, but I'm not sure if they had the option. Overall, I thought they had a great atmosphere, decent food, good happy hour deals.

Excellent Food, Drink and Service

By Bert272 |

It is always a pleasure when a restaurant combines excellent food, drink and service. I enjoyed it so much that I bought gift certificates for friends.

Great experience.

By flussier |

We had a good time to this restaurant. Everything was fresh and good. You can find modern and old style mexican food. Lot of drink and really good white sangria. Good price and the place is really funky.

Very good

By Vulcanus |

Very nice staff in the stress thinks on everything. Free wifi. Food good quality, prices ok. Decoration Dias de los muertes, original. Clean toilet. Gay friendly.

Fun place!

By Bookistan5 |

This is a new restaurant opened by the owners of Bogota, also on Fifth Avenue on Park Slope, which is known for tasty Latin American food and excellent service. This restaurant has a different concept, serving small plates in a casual, fun atmosphere. There are also a lot of cocktails and drinks on the menu. The small plates are quite large - we ordered four and could have done with one less. Everything is tasty and well prepared. I hope this place catches on - there is nothing quite like it on Fifth Avenue, which has so many restaurants, and it's a great place for a casual meal.

Delicious!

By Hayv7 |

Came across this restaurant by chance and went for dinner with friends. We are all fans of Mexican food and thought this place was amazing! Could not fault service or food. I had the mixed tacos and thought every bite was delicious, would highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and food

By Athena L |

If you want a solid dinner in Park Slope, you can't go wrong with Miti Miti. Their quesadillas aren't huge, but they are filling and tasty (at $10 for chicken quesadilla, not bad). My friend got nachos for $13, which I thought was a bit pricey, but the portion was huge! Margaritas are great - I wish I had come during Happy Hour though (they are only $5 then!). I also loved the decorations and lighting - this place would be nice for a date! Service was friendly, attentive, and quick.

Great Boozy Brunch

By Joseph S |

Excellent food, great atmosphere and plenty of mimosas! Had the pork belly hash, pork was tender and well flavoured. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Great delivery of tapas

By crazy50 |

Have had delivery of tapas from Miti Miti several times in the past two months. Food is great, temperature still hot when received.

Great modern Mexican cuisine and lively vibe

By Bartonbears |

This is a great modern Mexican restaurant with a quirky decor and lively vibe. We had tacos and absolutely loved them. There is a broad choice that should satisfy most diners.

Great Food!!!!

By Terence T |

Went here with a group of friends and it was an awesome experience. The food was great, the service was quick and the drinks were excellent. I had the Mexican corn and the chicken and steak tacos. Awesome place. Will be back!

Work night out in NYC

By James M |

Went to Miti Miti with work colleagues, the food was very good. We were eating off a fixed menu as quite a big group but the quality of the food was good and the ingredients were fresh. Also tried a chilli beer which was ‘different’!

What a vibrant place!

By BHUANG69 |

Came here to have dinner with a friend on a Friday night. We arrived around 7pm and the place is almost full. Lots of people talking and with music playing in the background. It was a bit hard to hear what the waitress was saying but we did successfully placed our order. I had a flavored Margarita. Enjoyed the buzz it brings. For food, we ordered: - Miti nachos with crispy pork: the flavor on the pork was good. The nachos are basically what you can expect. Not bad. We were hungry and ate everything. - Buffalo wings: The flavor is good. I enjoyed it. But this is not buffalo. I think they should call it something else. When you order buffalo, you expect certain flavor profile. - Crispy chicken tacos: Enjoyable. Overall, service is a four star. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Food is a three star: meets expectation. Value is a three star: meets expectation. The atmosphere is very good and I think that is what draws people to this vibrant place.

Family Dinner

By Richard P |

This is Restaurant not tom be missed if you like authentic Mexican food, The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the portion size is generous, the atmosphere within the restaurant is lively and welcoming I would have no problem in recommending a visit here well worth a try

Will be back!

By Helen L |

My daughter had been to this restaurant once before and the manager instantly recognized her and welcomed her back and greeted me so very warmly. We did not have reservations but I would suggest that reservations be made if you are able. The decor is warm and joyful. We both enjoyed their red sangria (they also have white and green sangrias so they will be tasted in future visits). We shared the Jamaican street corn, cauliflower and carnitas sliders....each tapas plate was pretty hearty and everything was absolutely delicious and we clearly expect to try more menu items in the future. We had ordered the paella croquettes but there was a mixup in the kitchen. The manager quickly came to our table and since we were running out of time we could not wait for the extra dish and we were pretty full so he offered us a choice of dessert at no extra charge so we had the hazelnut chocolate cake which was the perfect ending....I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant on my next Brooklyn visit!

Delicious and Fun!

By Cailin S |

Drinks were great and food was delicious. Shared a few dishes with 4 friends and we were all satisfied!

Tapas - I love tapas!!!

By Kathleen B |

We shared several appetizers that were $5 for happy hour. The bacon covered dates were delightful so we ordered one more plate. The mushroom croquettes were divine. I had the steak skewers which were nicely prepared and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their selections. The only complaint is that some items listed on their website are no longer available so if you're interested in scallops or mussels, you might check to see if they carry them.

Much better

By Tricia L |

Revisited here recently and they have changed up completely. The food is much better and the drinks are perfect!! I wish the happy hour was more of a 2 for 1 but it is all day on weekdays so I can’t complain too much. Will b back!

Overpriced and No Flavor

By Mike P |

To be completely honest the food is really bland and extremely over-priced. We went to brunch and the bill came out to 120 for 1 burrito, 2 tacos, 5 wings, a piece of corn, and 2 drinks. Not to mention there was a mandatory 20% gratuity charge. This is completely unnecessary for 2 people grabbing brunch. Definitely won’t be going back there, there is way better Mexican food in Brooklyn for a fraction of the cost.

Best Nachos in town

By SheShe6474 |

The Nachos are excellent & they give a nice size portion. The best drink on the menu (and I had them all) is the Lychee margarita. I love this place because they believe in putting liquor in the drinks!

Nice!

By Daytripper101_101 |

Noisy, but food was pretty good. Not a huge Mexican fan, but i liked it. Nachos, buffalo wings and great tequila.

Another great time

By norphano |

We were just in Brooklyn for the weekend. Last time we were there we went into Miti Miti for the Boozy Bunch which we loved. We ended up here for happy hour drinks on Friday and got some light food before dinner, and ended up at the Boozy Brunch again. The food, service and drinks have always been great. We really love this place and would definitely recommend it.

Great brunch

By Richard W |

We went here for a bottomless brunch. We had nachos and tacos which were brilliant. You can taste how fresh the food is. We had bottomless mimosas and beer such the waitress ensured was never empty.

Great Menu Selection

By C C |

We eat at Miti Miti for lunch or dinner each time we visit Brooklyn. The atmosphere and service is great. The margaritas ( happy hour til 11:30 pm Monday to Thursday ) are very good along with the chips and salsa. Fish tacos, Red Snapper are delicious. I love the brussel sprouts and cauliflower which are the 2 items I get every visit.

Loved it!

By LuvTaTrek |

What a great place to have a lunch and coffee. The tofu taco was great, Columbian coffee a treat and the tomato soup sensational. Great choice of cocktails too- at reasonable prices!

Waited 45 mins for chips

By David D |

We ordered chips and guacamole, which took 45 mins to arrive. No apology or anything. They didn't ask for drinks and our food took even longer to arrive. The music was so loud, it gave us headaches and made the experience even worse. We saw people get served before us who sat down after us. We saw people get up and walk out because they were having a similar experience. My brother's $17 quesadilla was small and dripping with oil. My dad asked for a salad and got fries instead. The gratuity was forced on the check and we had to ask to have it removed. Even after we said why, they couldn't even apologize. Some of the worst service we've had in our lives. If you want to have a good experience, I recommend going to ANY other restaurant in the area.

Delicious tapas and sangria

By Kelly M |

The tapas (patatas bravas, guacamole, goat cheese, grilled corn) were delicious. We also had the white sangria, which was amazing. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the waiters were very friendly and helpful.

So Much Delicious Fun!

By Abigail M |

We had a great meal here with several friends and family. We arrived a bit early as the restaurant just opened and had a drink and bantered with our waiter while we waited for our friends. It was great fun! The staff really adds so much to the fun, eclectic atmosphere and fabulous menu. This might have been the best meal we had in Brooklyn last weekend. We had been to the sister restaurant Bogota Latin Bistro a block away three times and loved it every time. Miti Miti is a little more quiet with more space and the food is equally incredible and the bar terrific! And try the Sangrita drink - a margarita in sangria! It's really delicious!

Miti Miti means half and half - I get it

By languageladyny |

This was my first visit, once again encouraged by some reviews I read. Miti Miti, yes half and half because, half of us (me) had the most disappointing "fish taco" ever and half of us had a decent chicken Quesadilla. Don't ever order the fish taco cause if you do - unless you have some inexplicable affinity for food that is devoid of seasoning and everything else - you'll not only leave unsatisfied but you'll most certainly want a refund. The cocktails were decent enough, but, I'm sorry, if all the food tastes like that sorry fish taco, I see no need to return. Also, something that was kind of gross imo, was the table setting - since when do you put cutlery plop down on a table that doesn't even have a nice white table cloth to shield you (yeah right) from whatever microbes that might have made their way somehow onto this community table?! I was also impressed at how much attention the gent filling our water glasses gave to his assigned task that he poured a little bit onto the table - we were going for the glass right - note to water person, you can't be looking at the avenue through the storefront while you're pouring water to the right. Whatever.

Terrific Brunch!!

By drjeff77 |

Went with family for Sunday brunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Starting off with a delicious pitcher of white sangRITA, had some nice nachos with guac, and the choizo sandwiches were really, really fresh and tasty! Excellent breakfast burritos as well! Service was very good and the place had a nice ambiance! Prices were also reasonable for NYC! Quick ten minute walk from Atlantic Terminal/Barclays Center!

Auto-tip

By Rombi D |

Watch out! The auto-tip is around the corner! But it’s written in the menu: if you have a magnifying glass you can read it.

Can't see what the hype is about.

By Stefan L |

Decent food, nothing special. Tacos small. Crispy chicken had no taste but was crispy. Shrimp tasted better but 2 in each taco? Quacamole was good even if a little salty. Our food arrived warm even though we were 10 steps from kitchen. We had to ask each time we needed water. Their sister restaurant, Bogata, across the street was much better.

Nice Tapas

By bagus56 |

Tonight we were there around 5PM and it was empty so we were somewhat nervous since it was our first time eating here. We were lucky because it was happy hour (4-7PM?). Lets just say that after our first drink and some tapas we were glad we came. We had the Bacon Wrapped Dates, Charred Spanish Octopus, Lamb Empanaditas, Arepitas de Chocolo and theSalmon Tartare Guacamole. The sangria was also very nice. Try it, the food is great and so is the service

Excellent Food & Service!

By Ali S |

We were in Brooklyn for the weekend and stopped by Miti Miti for dinner. It was EXCELLENT! Tacos were amazing. I have celiac disease - and the server was very understanding. Lots of gluten free options. The restaurant has a separate fryer - very accommodating to celiac disease. Also - had the best corn tortillas I have ever had! Eddie, our server was great and attentive! Very friendly. Best Mexican food I have had in a long time! Highly recommend.

Great Place with Outside seating area!

By JoamiArias |

I came here before a concert in the Barclays Center. They offer Mexican food and awesome entrees. The service is quick and they have awesome happy hours options, I had a Sangritas which is a Sangria and a Margarita mixed together. They give complimentary salsa and chips while the food gets ready. Service is awesome and the area more! Walk couple of blocks up and you will see Prospect Park.

Sunday boozy brunch

By BKSweetie |

My waitress was a total sweetheart and although it was a busy Sunday afternoon, I did feel like she gave me as much attention as she could. My mimosa was completely awesome as was my passion fruit lemonade. I love spicy food so I must say that my food was not as spicy as I would’ve like but an extra dash of hot sauce handled that just fine. I had the camarones a la Diablo with poached eggs, my eggs were completely over poached so I didn’t get the runny yolk but the overall food was good and I would definitely come back.

Ordinary

By Jen255093 |

I had the quesadilla's. It was very very ordinary. My partner had tacos which he said were good. Service was good. Table felt grubby. Wouldn't repeat the visit unfortunately

AB FAB!!!!!

By CeMar1016 |

If you're looking for a place with delicious food and tasty drinks that offers a chill vibe with vibrant surroundings, then Miti Miti is THE PLACE to go. The lobster guac and green sangria topped off with lychee are out of this world! The waitstaff are attentive and friendly and treat you like family from the moment you walk through the door. The Teal tufted booths and black mini chandeliers throughout the rear seating area provide a fun Disco era backdrop to an awesome eclectic playlist. So don't be surprised to hear the table next you sing along to Envogue 90s R&B, followed by another table singing along with Culture Club. Yup all of this while while sitting across from your bff sharing a delicious plate of Mushroom Croquettas! If you're ever hanging out in Park Slope and not sure whether you want to go out for Dinner or chill out at a fun lounge, go to Miti Miti and do both!!!

Friendly and GREAT food

By Hannah K |

I recently visited on a trip to Brooklyn/Manhattan. We were staying right around the corner and sangria and tapas sounded amazing. Their happy hour was very good $5 a tapas and $6 sangria! Everything we ordered was AMAZING. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. We also had the street style corn, spicy feta dip, mushroom blue cheese croquettes, and roasted chickpeas. Everything was seriously amazing. The staff was so nice and friendly. I would definitely go back.

Can't live up to Bogota Bistro's reputation

By Kidzot |

We had very high hopes for this place as we love to frequent Bogota Latin Bistro, Miti Miti's sister restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to its big sister. The food was okay, tasted old and dry. The tres leches cake picked up the garlic flavor that it was housed next to in the fridge. The service was subpar with our waitress often missing and no one wiping the table. So you are better off sticking to Bogota. Don't waste your time on Miti Miti

Great Mexican Food, Margaritas

By 421Traveler_123 |

Went for dinner one evening, seating outside for some tacos, margaritas and appetizers. Heartily recommend this restaurant! Make sure to get the nachos, cheese and salsa, as well as it’s margaritas. Options for vegetarians.

Fun spot - very loud

By AdamL60093 |

Miti Miti has a great vibe and is very clean. I would say the food was good (not great) - you have to order the Mexican street corn Bummer about this place is that is impossible to have a conversation because it is so loud. Staff was nice and helpful.

YUM Yuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm

By Franfran14 |

Everything that came into mu mouth was AWESOME!!!!!!!WE had the mac n cheese, salmon, all tacos, kale salad, and the corn. It was wonderful. My son loved the salmon and fries. He wants to go back! I want to go back. Miti Miti for the win!!

Worth it

By BENJAMIN P |

I went there for Anna's (Her review is below) birthday. It was amazing. We went again a couple of weeks later even though it is about an hour away from where I live. It had tacos and quesadillas with crackers/chips. It was amazing. My favorite meal was the chicken tacos. It has such a good mix and it was crispy with a good crunch. It's definitely worth a visit

Yummy

By jadoc |

Went with family and enjoyed my meal, the beans were excellent with yellow rice. Had tuna and coconut shrimp tacos which were pretty tasty.

Great food, good price, nice ambiance

By LanaYks |

Love the food, love the Sangria- highly recommend the Green or the Red Sangria. Food is really, very impressive. Its a nice fusion between Moroccan cuisine and Catalan/Spanish Tapas. Highly recommend this place. Intend to come back here.

A taste of Barcelona in Brooklyn

By qqSbstee |

This small restaurant opened within the past few weeks. It has a menu with many classic Tapas dishes (chorizos, patatas bravas) and some unique items with a more middle eastern bent (hummus and falafel), as well as some full sized entree dishes.. All of the food is flavorful and well-prepared. and the service is attentive. You will definitely want to try the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese and the silky chicken liver mousse. Come with a group so that you can sample many dishes. There is a good selection of wines and some interesting cocktails to quench your thirst, but we preferred the excellent sangrias (red, green and white). The menu is still evolving and changing so there is a lot to look forward to here.

Boozy brunch!

By norphano |

Went in for Sunday brunch. Our meal was great and the booze brunch menu was very cool. $20 covers your drinks for 90 minutes. Great selection of tequilas as well. Would recommend!

Kitchen service VERY slow and Manger did not care

By Alyssa H |

I am not a tourist trying a new restaurant in Brooklyn, but I needed to leave a review on Miti Miti. We had good expectations going in, the hostess sat us faster than we thought, drinks from the bar were good, etc. From there it is all downhill - the Kitchen service was SLOW and it took us over an hour to get our appetizers. Also, the sides we ordered WITH our food came half an hour earlier than our actual food. The second round of drinks were terrible, but the AWESOME bartender took care of that. Our waitress did not pay attention to our table and we saw many other tables were impatient as well. The manager did not check in on any tables. He only went to the tables that requested to speak to him/her. We spoke to the manager, but he did NOTHING to accommodate the slow service. Overall the lack of service did not make it an enjoyable experience. We wanted a quick dinner and spent over 2 hours in the restaurant because our food took so long. If you want good Mexican and drinks...go down the street.

So versatile and delicious

By Anna P |

Celebrated my birthday at miti miti. The menu was different from the regular run of the mill and most items we tried were fantastic. The portions are small and meant to be shared. It was great to try pretty much the whole menu as we were a large group. No one left disappointed. The waiters and staff overall is great! Drinks were really good too!

Weekend might be for brunch crowd only

By Nickiinny |

Stopped in for a non-alcoholic lunch with my daughter and her best friend. Staff were attentive at seating us and taking our order, but it took a half hour to get our food. My daughters salmon (a kids meal) was raw in the middle, our other meals were tasty. I'm confident that if I was there having a few margaritas and tacos with my girlfriends, I would not have noticed the time the food took. Might try again for taco Tuesdays.

Great food, great vibe, nice people

By CDinMaine |

My family decided at the last minute to attend the ACC mens basketball championship game at the Barclays Center on a Saturday night in Brooklyn. We don't know Brooklyn at all and scrambled to find a place to eat that was close to the arena. We scored big with Miti Miti. First, we were a little disappointed that we weren't seated until 6:40 when we had made a 6:15 reservation on Open Table. However, in fairness, the restaurant was hit hard because of the game, and the staff could not have been more friendly. So no demerits for that. When they did seat us the service was prompt and the food and the drinks were terrific. Miti Miti is serving updated versions of traditional Mexican fare with presentations and combinations that are just different enough from the standards to make the food fresh and interesting. All appetizers and mains were consumed with relish by the family. On top of the great food is a colorful, warm, and inviting atmosphere, which made it perfect for pre-gaming. My wife was so enthusiastic about the whole experience that she bought a tee shirt, which is pretty unusual! If we are ever again in the neighborhood, we will surely return to Miti Miti.

Miti Miti - to Eati Eati

By Cori |

This place is fabulous! Took my sister in law to eat there while on vacation in July 2018 for her birthday. From the front, the establishment appears small, but what awaits your journey to the back of the restaurant is fun decor and atmosphere! Wait staff kept us filled to the rim with drinks, and offered sweet birthday wishes! Their unique flair on Mexican cuisine was a welcome change to my pallet! Great prices, great food, great staff! I highly recommend it!

Brunch

By James C |

Fantastic food and service. The brunch is really good and the drink selection is fantastic and worth the price. Great place for small or large groups.

Amazing Drinks & Service

By Vandaryle |

Highly recommend making reservations in advance like we did in order to receive timely service. Our waiter Floyd was extremely efficient and informative knowing the ingredients of the drinks and providing recommendations on their appetizers and main entree. The food surpass our expectations and their speciality house Margaritas overwhelmed our palate with refreshing delight. If you truly enjoy food and delightful beverages please visit this restaurant

Nice and Friendly

This was such a top notch meal. The other guests were warm and tons of entertaining. This worth it every-time.

Delicious

By Jacqueline B |

The service was attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious I recommend the chorizo tacos. A lovely place for brunch with family or friends.

Fantastic Food

By Stacey S |

We walked past this restaurant and went in because of the unique specials offered on the chalkboard. The menu is extensive and has selections I have not seen in other Mexican establishments. The appetizer option with chips and 3 bowls of toppings is awesome. The food was wonderful and the decor is cool. The wait staff were attentive and helpful. This is a must visit if you are in Brooklyn.

Mediocre

By Tricia L |

The food was blah, the service was decent, the drinks were terrible. I prefer bogota over this place and was shocked to know that they are sister restaurants. Don’t think I’ll be back

I love this place!

By JamieNYC |

I was here for lunch today and had the chicken quesadilla with nachos, rice and beans from the Lunch Specials menu, all for $12.00. The guac dip that came with the nachos was fantastic. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection. Although I can't say that my quesadilla was the best I ever had, it was still very good - certainly good enough for me to come back for more. The atmosphere is nice and goes with the food: brick walls adorned with Mexican kitsch, and with Spanish music being piped in. They have a long bar so you can come here just for drinks if you want. Another thing I like about this place is that their happy hour includes lunch time on weekdays, so I was able to have a glass of Pacifico Clara from the tap for $6 - $2 less than the usual price. (Most places around here have happy hours that start late in the afternoon.) [Note: This place has changed its name a bit, from Miti Miti Taperia to Miti Miti Modern Mexican. It apparently used to be more South American but has become more of a Mexican restaurant.]

Great food and drinks, slow service

By Regina R |

Came here with my partner and our parents for Sunday Brunch. The food and drinks were excellent. I had the Green Goddess tacos with a side of potato hash and an EXCELLENT margherita. Our party ordered shrimo tacos, the chorizo croissant sandwhich, chicken tacos and the vegan burrito. Everyone loved the food. The green goddess tacos were really good but if I hadn't ordered them I would have gotten that chorizo croissant sandwhich. The drinks are REALLY good too. Only complaint is that we had to wait about an hour for our food to arrive

Wonderful fish and shrimp tacos!!

By Scott B |

We highly recommend the salmon and shrimp tacos! My wife enjoyed the shrimp ones the best. We truly enjoyed the Sangria as well! All the waiters seemed happy and it was a fun and pleasant dining experience! We will be back!!!!

Amazing

By Maysworld |

We went for Brunch and it was so worthy. The manager was very nice. He came over and introduce himself to us. We had a variety of sangrita's. The green one was not our favorite drink. The food is delicious. We had the lobster avocado and it was amazing. The chicken and waffle, shrimp taco and chicken taco was all tasteful. I had the burger and it was perfect. I can't remember the waiter name because she never have it to us. The unlimited drinks is 1.5hrs it starts f4om the time you place your order. Just be mindful of your waiter because we felt like she disappeared on us which limited our drinks order.

Good Food, Good Prices, and Good Casual Atmosphere

By Alex Z |

My wife and I have been here 5 times. Each time we brought different groups of friends. I can honestly say that we've never tried the entrees due to filling up on the appetizers. This is a perfect place to try different small dishes that are delicious. Lobster Mac and Cheese was a big hit. Tacos are also excellent. The atmosphere is casual and friendly with a modern twist.
