We visited tonight after only finding this place at 7pm online and they close at 8pm!! Everything was great. Super friendly and warm service and we enjoyedvall the food that we ordered. It was very busy with takeaway puzza orders but our food came quickly. Would recommend to anyone. A great little find.

Stayed at The Lodge at Torrey Pines for our 39th anniversary. Short drive to Mom's Pizza and Pasta. Ordered the Fig pizza, greek salad and cannolis. Pizza was delicious! Excellent crust. Lovely fresh salad and homemade cannolis. Chatted with, we assume, the owners. You could tell they truly care about their customers experience and food. Will be back when we're in the area,.

While Mom's sister restaurant was closed, Mom's offers customers their combined menus, which was quite impressive and delicious. Take-out service was quite efficient and friendly!

We are in San Diego for a swim meet at UCSD. Our kid swims for UCSB and we are staying at a nearby hotel. We went by 3 three places, all small take-out, but we wanted sit down and we just happened to pass by. Seriously just gave up on looking for places, didn’t really want pizza or pasta, but we were hungry. Saw Moms, pulled into the lot, it was full, went out to the street but those spots were taken then went back behind the place and found a spot - SUPER happy we did. Walked in, it was packed, and the incredibly cheerful hostess (owner maybe?) greeted us and sat us right away. It was my wife, myself and my father-in-law. My wife and I were going to split a chicken Parmesan and salad but she (awesome-super-energy person that sat us) recommended the pizza. Done! We got the chicken parm pizza (medium to share - no place to put leftovers) garlic knots, grandpa got a Caesar Salad, and wife and I split a caprase. All fantastic and she was right about the pizza. Super light crust, crunchy and the sauce was very flavorful. Chicken parm on a pizza is exactly what it was. The only small drawback was the canned instead of fountain soda, but we should have been drinking wine instead anyway… so no loss of stars - our bad. A diamond in the ruff sandwiched between a Karate Studio and a day care. Love it and, if she isn’t the owner, you need to give her a % because we’d come back just to get a little of her energy (and a pizza).
Excellent + Smiles
Delicious pastas at a very good price for the area. Pesto penne w/ chicken was a standout. Cannoli was also excellent. And such a friendly staff to hand the food off.
