It's the Wandering Yank here. On business in SF recently, our host took several of us to nearby Momo's for lunch, one of her favorites. Good choice! Great location, across the street from AT&T Park (go Giants!). Between the 3 of us, we ordered 2 small plates - fried calamari and mac and cheese - 2 chicken Caesar salads and 1 grilled ahi. Lots of food, very flavorful, and reasonably priced for the location and quality. Nice atmosphere, with some outdoor tables. Excellent service, efficient and friendly, from a well-trained team. 2 thumbs up!

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! I was there with a group of 8 and, although the food was decent, our bill was padded by about $80.00 and one of the gals purse was stolen. We are certain that it was stolen by the staff. When we informed our waiter and the "on-duty" manager we were treated poorly, at best, and were told that my friend must have left it somewhere else. Since she had removed items from her purse while at dinner, we knew this was not the case. The restaurant minimized the incident which was very upsetting and ruined our entire weekend, not to mention our evening! This was a horrible experience! Do not frequent this restaurant unless you want to risk being stolen from.

A pretty cool place to spend an evening ! Their appetizers are great ! drinks are superb and reasonable, a simple choice of main course, the service is excellent always friendly and helpful ! Also good choices for desserts,What can you ask for ? always good friendly people around ! Oh by the way, If the Giants are in town,This place is packed ! so come early,Big screen TV at it's best !

We were group of 10 and there was plenty of room for us. They were short staffed so the service was just OK (but very nice when we got it). There is lots of variety on the menu so everyone in a big group can find something they like. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy their selections. The restaurant is very very convenient to AT&T park

I have been here twice for Giants games and once for brunch on a gameday. Get here early, and if it's a popular day (like Opening Day), beware of the bathroom lines. Great and convenient meetup spot for friends/family before catching a game.

My wife, son, and I travel to SF to attend a Giants game, when they play our home team, once a year, and we have always noticed the big crowd at MoMo's across from AT&T, so this year we decided to eat there before the game. The interior features a typical sports bar atmosphere, but the menu is not the usual pub grub. My son had a french dip (he deemed it "tough and dry"); my wife made out better with the Cubano sandwich, but I was really looking forward to some ball park fare--brats or hot dogs, but surprisingly they weren't available, so I settled on a Caesar salad which was mostly stems. Next trip we will look for someplace else.

Good service and very nice surroundings. Portions are just too big, but if you happen to like doggy bagging it's good, right?

We tend to go when we have a large group. The service has always been great and food isn't bad. Feel it is just nothing to write home about either. Had calamari and Ahi Nachos appetizers, the calamari was a bit chewy and the ahi nachos had the unagi sauce which mad everything too sweet for my taste. they were stacked high but cam crashing down on table as people grabbed chips... Ask them to leave unagi sauce off next time as tuna was great and the wonton chips. One had pizza and liked it, other likes were Cioppino, Gumbo, Ceasar Salad and Lamb burger. Some of the disappointments were thai beef salad and Nicoise salad. They try to be all things in one kitchen and that is hard to do. We would go back just stick with non ethnic food and you should be pleased.

great seafood any time of year. steamed mussels and pasta are the best here. good craft cocktails and oysters as well. beware on game days it will be a zooooooo!!!

Always a favorite place before a Giant's game. The atmosphere of all the fans, great food, location cannot be beat. However, even though the combo louis was great (see photo), felt $22 for it was a little too high. I had not ordered this before, would have it again, just sayin a little pricey for what you get. Regardless, don't pass this place up, lots of fantastic food. A must do if you never have. Be prepared for a wait, long wait when busy, it's one of the best around the park and most popular. Can get very crowded, consider a reservation for after the game and enjoy a nice meal then? Go Giant's!!

Group of 6 for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals, 1 blackened salmon, two shrimp and crab salads, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza and a chicken pot pie. The margarita pizza came out cold and this problem was immediately corrected. The diner who ordered the pot pie would rather of had it in a pie crust than with a pie of puff pastry floating on the chicken and veggies in gravy. Service excellent for such a busy place.

Phenomenal service, nice wine list, relaxing atmosphere, bar food menu Great place to wind down and wait for the traffic to let up. The patio outside was a party, but inside it was quiet, relaxing and the service was great.

I've always liked Momo's. I came here with a friend before a home baseball game last month. I had a huge martini, then a double-cut pork chop with red beans and rice, and string beans! It had a mustard sauce, and was cooked perfectly, was wonderful. Great location across the street from AT&T Park. Nice upscale vibe in the restaurant.

We went here before a game and I feel like it was a pretty typical restaurant that is near a stadium. Overall I felt like the food was overpriced for what it was. I didn't think the overall selection of food was that great. They did have the typical hamburgers, fries, appetizers. My mac and cheese had meat in it despite asking for it not to (I get it, things happen, and that had absolutely nothing to do with my overall rating). That being said, the server was great about taking it back and getting me food without said meat (and for that I say thank you!!). The servers were friendly, but service was slow and they weren't great about things like refilling drinks and getting us silverware. I loved the fact we could eat outside in front of the stadium and they also had very adequate indoor seating. Also super convenient to public transport which is a plus in that area. I would go again because of the proximity of the stadium, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Convenient to ball park but average food and average service =don’t bother. Stopped before game for brunch but not as advertised only had three items available👎🏻Would not have been a huge deal but came early for what we thought would be breakfast/brunch, so just don’t trust website for menus availability. After reading reviews I guess this is part of their normal so come for convenience but not necessarily quality experience. Lots of other options!

About two months ago, four of us were going to attend a Giants game and decided to eat here before the game. The restaurant was not crowded and we were immediately seated. But, after 20 minutes and no staff coming to assist us we walked out. Well, we decided to give it another try yesterday. We had made reservations to eat after the Giants game. We were immediately seated. The restaurant was about half full at that time. Again, we waited. And waited. And waited. We saw others who were seated after us having their orders taken. And we continued to wait. I had made eye contact with a couple of the waitresses and I assumed that they were going to come to us, but they never did. It was amazing that we could be ignored like this again! After 25 minutes, I stopped one of the men bussing the tables and asked if someone could help us. A waitress was sent over and when we informed her that we had been waiting 25 minutes she gave a simple "sorry" but she could have cared less. We placed our order. About 10 minutes later the waitress returned to confirm that I had ordered a Caesar Salad. I said that it was a chicken Caesar Salad. She then left. Just after she left, we received our order of calamari, which was good. But, we had not even received our drinks yet. We then received our drinks at the same time we received our dinner. It was the worst chicken caesar salad that I have ever had. Strips of cold, dried out chicken, stale tasting chicken had been thrown onto the salad. And this for $18!!!! I think they threw on some chicken after I told the waitress I had ordered a chicken caesar salad. This is the first bad review that I have had to write for a restaurant or anything for that matter. The location of the restaurant, across from AT&T park, is convenient and maybe good for a drink. But, I will never go there again to eat.

Food good and service terrible. Seem to be ignored by the waitress so ate and left didn’t both with pudding or coffee. Wins most on location as right next to the att stadium.

Let me first say that I had reservations, but my table was not available. How can that be? Ok, I accepted sitting outside. That was fine. But then the service was poor, cocktails and food came out very slowly. I understand a baseball game was about to start and it was crowded. But that's no excuse for unfriendly and slow service. The gumbo I had was very good, and my friend had the mac & cheese and their burger, also very good. A poor dining experience tonight I'm sorry to say.

Dinner before game. I know with such a great location next to game, it would be expensive but it was ridiculous. $20 for a burger. It was good but not that good. We are going to try something different next time. A kids menu would be nice instead of $14 for mac and cheese.

Located across from giants stadium on San Francisco Bay. Momo's appeals to the baseball crowd and sophisticated diner. We visited on a quiet Friday for late lunch. Service was prompt' friendly, attentive but not intrusive. The menu is varied and interesting with standard favorites. I had the mushroom pizza which was nicely prepared, a generous size with a thin crust and plenty of flavorful mushroom. My companion had the three potsticker small plate which was nice with standard sweet and sour sauce. Standard prices prevail. Their is a listing of interesting cocktails and a nice offering of California wines.

Peter Osborne is most personable and a genuine host. My wife and I were at the outdoor patio area at Mo Mo from 3 to 6 today --June 11th, 2009. We enjoyed the weather, the wine and the food. It was a grand experience. As a former concierge and Hotel operator my self, I could see that Peter runs a tight ship. He kept a careful eye on his guests and was as genuine as your favorite uncle. We will return to dine at his establishment.

As this is opposite the ball park, it's either packed and the service is slow. Or completely dead! We visited when it was super quiet. Service was still fairly slow. However prices are reasonable and the menu has a good amount of options. It's a reasonable option when visiting for a concert or ball game but I wouldn't go there otherwise.

The food and service was excellent. The weather was also beautiful. We were greeted by Jackie Krill who made us feel very welcome, and actually wanted us to return.

We had lunch here. We stopped to look at the menu to see if there were any vegan options for my daughter. The host told us there wasn't really anything on the menu, but they would whip something up for her. The chef made her a delicious veggie and rice dish with an olive tapenade. I had the chicken pear salad (would recommend) and strawberry basil lemonade. My husband, son, and youngest daughter claim the fries were "the best they ever had." I don't know why the fries were so special, but they all made this claim.

Treated very well here during my visit to AT&T park. Great tasty food but very crowded on the weekends. Transit system is nearby and the Embarcadaro and Bay Bridge is right around the corner. The only negative is dull the crazy people walking around panhandling, especially at night.

We came here for a quick bite to eat before catching the Cirque De Soleil show at ATT Park. We got seated right away the service was good the server was very attentive however the food was not good. I had the crab cake dinner the kids had the pizza my husband and the burger. Everything was bland. I would not come here for dinner but maybe for drinks ! The jalapeño Margarita was good.

I had great service and an amazing homemade lemonade that I couldn't stop drinking until it was gone. (Basil and Ginger Lemonade) It wasn't busy when I casually strolled in; knowing what I wanted I inquired with the server about what his favorite dishes were and the ingredients. After some good input and even better recommendations I went with my original decision. The calamari and shrimp was lightly breaded and served with a sauce that was delicious. A larger portion than I had originally thought I enjoyed my appetizer and decided I didn't need any more. I enjoyed myself at Momo's, I would return, and also recommend to any of my friends.

fun atmosphere during baseball season, though can get a little crowded and crazy...but good drinks

So I would rate the food here above average, however it was the really slow service that hurt the rating. Plus they weren't all that crowded in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and the waitress barely checked on us. Prices are definitely high but I expected that across from ATT Park. Get the pizza if you like a good fire grilled pizza with s nice smokey cheese flavor. Considering it cost the same as a burger id get it because it's good size. I like the design of the restaurant on the inside and it has a nice outside patio in front. Not sure about parking because we took metro and got off right in front.

This is truly one of the better restaurants in SF. It has great ambiance both inside and out. My family, friends and I have been going to Momo's since April of 2000 (since the Giants) and have enjoyed it for Saturday/Sunday brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, etc. on a regular basis. We travel from Stockton even during the off season. We think the food is great and reasonably priced. We hope to continue going there for a long long time. We do however miss "Boom Boom" . She is definitely one the main reasons we kept returning. I think she helped establish Momo's great clientele and I thank her for her friendliness from day one. The rest of the staff have also always been very friendly and gracious.......

I used to work around the corner but generally we didn't eat here because it's rather over priced for what it is...that being said...the clam chowder was excellent...

My husband and I arrived at this restaurant 5 minutes before Happy Hour ended. No problem! We ordered appetizers and drinks and enjoyed them immensely. Service was friendly and attentive.

Electric atmosphere from full house prior to Giants game; burgers very good, and consistent with SF prices, high...good service...good beer selection

It was the crowd of patrons standing around that lured into Momo's this fresh fall evening. We had planned to go to our first ball game at AT&T park and wanted something of substance. While we only had appetizers and a beer, it was something that we both agreed that we had enjoyed. My wife had the French Onion soup and I had the pork sliders and the fries. The glass of beer on tap was a nice touch. The dinner menu was something that looked very appealing but we didn't have time to try it. All in all, a good pregame snack.

I had been to Momo's for dinner before years ago, and don't recall it being particulalry memorable, besides expensive. We recently moved back to the neighborhood and decided to give it a try for brunch. I had the best heuvos rancheros ever, and they were only about $13. We got out of there for 2 with tip for only $33. I went back a second time and it was still great. There was plenty of outdoor seating and people could bring their dogs. I will be back!

Really great food lovely service some unusual but fab soft drink options the chips here were the best ever and my beef sandwich came with gravy All in all a great lunch

Love Momos. Our goto hangout after the game. Staff have always been super friendly, drinks are excellent especially happy hour prices, and the bartenders are quick and efficient moving the lines. Cheers!

Went here for a beer and early dinner before a game. Great location right across from the Ball Park with terrific people watching. Felt the food was OK at best and not a good value for the price. I will say, the burger (which we didn't order) looked great as did Calamari as they passed towards other tables. I ate their version of a French Dip and it was nothing to write home about. Service was OK. I'd stick to the outside bar for a beer and people watching before the game and spend your food dollars elsewhere. Oh, and if you do decide to eat here, as others have noted, make your reservations via Open Table and skip the wait!

Went to Momo's on Mother's Day for lunch/brunch before Giants game. Have eaten here a few times before. They have added TVs through out and changed the menu a bit to more of a sports bar type. Disappointing. They did have carrot cake muffins in place of bread but only a few egg items & French toast to choose from. Gone are the fresh oysters, interesting salads such as skirt steak & chicken. Not many seafood choices- where were the mussels? or fish tacos? We are in San Francisco Bay! Had a hamburger, which was good but expensive and I can get that across the street. Location is now main attraction for this spot, but with Sports Bar restaurant across @ ballpark, doesn't offer much difference. And Ameccis is down street if you want pizza. Fun place to try with all Giants fans but disappointing menu now.

A bit on the pricey side, but the location (near the ballpark) was rather picturesque, and the food was quite good.

After recent SF GIANTS game we decided to go for some wine and appetizers at Momo's. Great energy in this place. Loved sitting outside and watching the GIANTS fans pour in. Also appetizers were great, good wine selection and great service!

Great place to eat before the Giants game.

Most of the appetizers were fantastic BUT the shrimp cocktail! There was no cocktail party here. Seriously 4 jumbo shrimps DOES not resonate with the type of appetizers that matches the rest of the menu must. See exhibit A! But still, it's super before the race.

Great location across from the ballpark...and that's the end of the positive attributes of Momo's. Too many individual bad experiences to document here but this should give you the feel... We visited during a game (not before or after); the place was not crowded and had plenty of staff on-hand. The service was slow and when I took the forth bite of my burger I had to extricate a long, black hair from between my teeth. And this wasn't the "oops, it fell onto your food" type of hair. No, this one was part of the meat patty - very gross. I advised the waitress I no longer needed my food and the reason for it. She said, "Oh, sorry about that," and walked away. Really, that's all you got? Not, "Can I bring you something else?" ... or maybe "let me make sure this doesn't end up on your check." The manager was aware of the hairy food and offered to make my accompanying diet coke "on the house." I then got charged for two, despite only drinking the original one I had ordered with dinner. After more lousy service, mediocre food and failed drink deliveries for our table, our party of eight people began to leave; some stopping by the bathroom and others (like me) running for the exit. As I stood outside, with my wife, awaiting the rest of our group, the manager contacted us. He told us he was going to call an ambulance for our friend who was passed-out in the bathroom. This made no sense to us, as none of our group (all adults well into our forties) had consumed more than two drinks and we had left our table only seconds earlier. He stated the drunk woman in the bathroom was a female from the table he saw us sitting at...so back inside we went, befuddled, but looking to help our friend. After confirming the combative, puking dame was NOT a member of our group, my wife and I exited again. While waiting for the rest of our group, the manager approached us again. This time, with a used car dealer tone, he offered us free "shots", as some sort of recompense for a lousy dining experience. Seriously dude? I know Momo's location makes them a money-printing machine and they won't care about this review. But for what it's worth to the TA.com community, I wouldn't return to this place if it were free. I'd take my chances in the Tenderloin before I risked eating here again.

Have been here for business lunches, dinners with wife and friends, people from out of town, a drink before a Giants game - can't beat the food, ambiance and location. Nice oysters, excellent seafood, good wine selection. Highly recommended.

I went a few years back and beleive I had some sort of soup, which was good, nothing special. I liked that the staff wasn't so pesty therefore allowing my party to enjoy our cocktails without feeling rushed. Great pre/after Giants game spot for drinks.

We stopped here before a Giants game. First off, the pepperoni pizza was fantastic. Secondly, we sat by the bar and were ignored. Bar staff with no smiles. One of them was doing the same work as the other 3 combined. If the owners fix that problem this place would get higher ratings. Sine was near AT&T park, it was expensive.

It's apparently impossible to get a reservation here before a game (Cal/USC) since my request for 3 hours before the game was refused. Trying to get into the bar that day, we were told there was an hour wait so went elsewhere. After the game (our friends were persistent), we were told that there was no food service on the patio & that we could get our drinks ourselves from the bar. I would have left, but our friends persisted....I ended up with a Lemon Drop with almost no alcohol in it...in fact, it came with no ice or mixer. My friends were ok with their drinks, but the noise level is so loud that conversation is impossible. I'm not sure why one would stand in line, except that this is apparently a spot to go and be seen. We'll go elsewhere for the rest of the season.

We visited this restaurant opposite the Giants stadium after a graduation there We were a large party and just wanted some snack food and drinks, the pizza was good thin crust and good selection of drinks We did not have the other entrees but they looked good

Like the location nearby the ballpark. Average food, but large portion.

Had a great brunch here before the game as its exactly opposite AT&T park. Make sure you make a reservation on game days otherwise you will be disappointed

We stopped here before a baseball game and they seated us within 5 minutes without a reservation. The service was a little slow but it was busy due to the game, the food was delicious.

Arrived without reservation for lunch Saturday and after a short 20 minute wait in the bar were seated. The restaurant was filled with navy personnel and their families but the wait was not bad. The food all around was excellent and very good as were the drinks in the bar. I would not drop in when the Giants are playing but for a nice change from downtown it was a good lunch choice on the weekend.

We stopped in Momo's for lunch after walking around AT&T Park. Such a great place! Amazing food, great atmosphere, across the street from the stadium, and wonderful, friendly staff. Indoor seating is spacious and can accommodate groups. They have a beautiful outdoor patio right along 2nd Avenue. On game days, this place is bustling with baseball fans and is such a festive atmosphere! Happy Hour specials daily, and they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The title pretty much says it all. Great before a Giants game, but get there before noon for easiest seating.

Truly a grand slam. Sits right across the street from AT&T Park (home of the Giants!). Service, atmosphere & food - perfect. A must visit for anyone in the City.

A must for all SF Giants fans to visit at least once before a game! Fun fan filled atmosphere on game days. We ate appetizers inside and then had a drink on the terrace at the outside bar. The hummus platter was really delicious, the calamari was ok....

Went with a group of 7 friends and they had only 3 of the 13 beers tap available. Plus many of the items on the menu. No buns for any burger items. Only a couple of apps ! Just bad ! I felt sorry for our server. Most of the menu was not available. Will not return.

We went to MoMo's for a "late lunch" because of its very convenient location before attending an event at ATT Park. The eating area was comfortable & thankfully (probably because of the off hour & few patrons) all the TVs were off. Staff was friendly -- especially the greeter & bread/water attendant. The portions were ample, the food was filling & OK -- but it was nothing to rave about. We ordered 1 beer, a crab melt sandwich & a pizza. For $50, I think we paid for the convenience, not necessarily a memorable meal.

Thai chile chicken wings were delicious. Kids loved the Caeser salad and fries. Beer was good and cold too.

A friend new we were going to be attending a Giants game and she suggested that we have lunch at Momo's before the game which started at 7:15. So we arrived at around 3:00PM and the place was already busy with Giants fans waiting to attend the game. We entered and was asked if we wanted to sit inside or out on the patio. Wife and kids said they would rather sit inside because there was a cool bay breeze blowing. We were at right away and within a very short period of time our waiter came over and introduced himself and handed s their menu's. The atmosphere in Momo's is great for a family or romantic dinner or lunch. You just have to remember that you will have to put up with the Giants fans who are there before and after the game. I have to say the baseball fans were not loud or rowdy and we had a very pleasant lunch. There menu is varied and on the back of the menu they have a large selection of California wines as well as other wines, beer and cocktails. The server took our order and we were served with our food in less than 10 minutes and everything was prepared exactly the way we wanted it. Their food quality I would say was excellent, service excellent. In fact our entire visit to Momo's I would say was excellent. We will definitely be returning to MoMo's when we take in another Giants game

This is a place very conveniently located across from the Ball park and near the train station. The bar is rather large with a number of windows looking out on the street, the atmosphere is nice and the place comfortable enough. We stopped by for a light dinner and ordered beet salad, pizza and a couple of glasses of wine. The beet salad had some interesting ingredients: mache greens, figs, goat cheese were all good, but unfortunately the beets themselves were mushy and watery - pretty much what you get out of a can. We ordered one of the vegetarian pizzas - it was a big disappointment: the zucchini was chopped in cubes, like for sauteing, there was all of maybe 1 green olive chopped in the center, the crust was not flavorful; more like frozen dough type. The two types of wine were good with a descent size pour, The service was friendly and competent. All in all, a nice place, but the food has to improve, especially considering the prices.

We have been to Momo's several times and have always had good food and competent service. The menu is a bit limited and it is not a place for "cheap eats". Have been to Momo's before and after a Giants game and - yes - I would describe the atmosphere as a party place but without the typical sports bar atmosphere. However, dining at Momo's without the baseball crowd gives the restaurant a much more relaxed vibe. The fixed priced dinner special is a good deal at a good price for a nice San Francisco location.

Lounged on the sun-drenched porch with puppy... delicious food and caring staff who brought a snack and water for my dog - very kind! Chicken sandwich was fresh and yummy... definitely not a frozen bird.

If you are looking for good food and a fun place to eat then MoMos is the place to go. Outdoor seating, great drinks and food are what you will find here. The turkey pot pie or any of their thin crust pizzas sre outstanding. If you get a chance catch a great meal here.

$5 bites and drinks. Try the $1 oysters it's worth every penny! The cocktail dancing juice was also very good! Definitely come back!

The menu offers a really wide range of food, literally something for every customer. We recently enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner with friends. Everyone was satisfied with their choices, from pasta to hamburger to salmon. Service was excellent - attentive, friendly & efficient. The place is quite large with multiple TV screens mounted throughout. If you're in the mood for this kind of atmosphere and very good food, you can't go wrong with MoMo's.

Had dinner here when the Giants were not in town. Very quiet atmosphere. Food was good. Drinks were good. If you come when the Giants are in town, very difficult to get a table and much more louder!

I would like to give it 3.5 stars. It's a good restaurant near the stadium. We came before a Giants game (brunch) and we had recommend reservations. Even though they were busy, we had quick service. The food was as I would expect given the location- simple, good, but not incredible. Tips: Their menu changes on game day. Get reservations. Good spot for a group going to the game. Nice outdoor patio.

We tried MoMo’s on the frequent on-air recommendations of the Giants’ broadcasters. We were three hours early for the start of the game and were seated immediately. The main dining room is set up like a sports bar with multiple screens running current games and events. By the time we ordered, the room was packed with Giants’ fans so we were concerned what that crush of customers might do to the wait time and service but the food was served in a timely manner and the service staff was excellent, thoughtful, and attentive. After a brief wait, Maddie, our server greeted us and took our orders. She was charming and attentive to detail – like most San Francisco professionals taking our orders and changes without writing anything down. I ordered the Cobb salad, asking her to hold the bleu cheese & red wine vinaigrette and to substitute a cup of Louis dressing on the side. The salad was served in a large bowl stacked with a variety of crisp fresh greens, covered in crushed bacon and shredded roasted chicken, with a hard-boiled egg sliced to the side. The bacon and greens were generous – the chicken was pretty sparse. The treat was their homemade Louis dressing that was thick, chunky and delightfully zesty. When Maddie came by for an initial quality check within minutes of receiving our meals, I requested a second small bowl of the dressing. My wife had the mushroom and sausage pizza. She likes thin crusted pizza and this was just right for her – ultra thin, crispy crust, lightly covered in red sauce, slices of mushrooms, cut Italian sausage, provolone cheese, and generous chunks of roasted garlic – topped dressed with arugula leaves. The eight slices were too much for her lunch so I was lucky enough to get two slices to go with my salad. Even with a generous tip, the lunch was under $40 -- not bad for SF. This may become a pre-game ritual for us.

We had the pulled pork sliders with slaw, lamb meatballs, and sides of macaroni/cheese/ham (great!) and sauteed greens (a huge portion, very mildly spiced). The service was spotty (half of our food came out right away, and the rest was forgotten at first), but the flavors were great in a relaxed, non-dressy setting. Very filling and served piping hot - will return. Great appetizers and small plates!

When heading over to AT&T, for a Giants game, this is an excellent bar/restaurant right across the street. This was our second visit to Momo's.There will be a big crowd out front, with outdoor bars. Inside is a very nice dining room, with fast attentive service. We made a reservation, and were promptly seated. The food is a bit pricey, but the quality is there. I ordered an iceberg wedge salad, and it was about a half a lettuce head, huge, with blue cheese and bacon everywhere! The heirloom cherry tomatoes were exceptional. My margarhita pizza had a light crust, and was delicious. My wife had the Stone Fruit Salad. She thought it exceptional, and enjoyed her pasta too. Our friendly server was very attentive and friendly. Finally, the boxed up my leftover pizza in a sealed bag that flies through AT&T Park security checks. Great place, we will be back.

Before heading to a Giants game, my partner and I thought we'd grab some lunch here, as it's right across the road from AT&T park. We were shown to our table by the host at the front and left sitting there for 10 mins before being offered water. Then 10 mins later a server came over to take our order as 'our server was running late'. My partner ordered a burger well done and when our meals came out 25 mins later so now a total of 45 mins since we arrived, the burger was still pink and raw in the middle, not a healthy option to eat raw mince!! They offered to make another but by this stage my usually unflappable partner had had enough and was not willing to wait another half hour. They did remove the burger from our bill. We then sat for another 15 mins until finally we asked someone to clear our plates and bring the bill. We were ignored and received the worst service. I could maybe give some understanding if the place was busy but it certainly was not. I'd be embarrassed to recommend this place to anyone. Steer clear.

Momo's is a San Francisco favorite but we had not been to it. We ordered an appetizer along with our entrees and the food was wonderful. I had the pizza and she had crab Caesar salad. The waitress was attentive and playful; we will go back.

The best thing about Momo's is it's proximity to AT&T park. We were starving after our tour of the park and the menu was perfect for our group of 8. We lunched al fresco on a beautiful Spring day. Their beer selection is extensive, the food good and reasonably priced. We would eat there next time we're in the neighborhood.

The food here is excellent. I've had the Thai steak salad, mac and cheese, tuna tartar appetizer and several entrees. I always come here before a game. Great people. Service is pretty good too, they know you want to be in and out. Vibrant bar scene. Make reservations on game day!

Last Friday evening (2/4/2011) my wife and I had dinner at MoMo's (across from the AT&T Giants Stadium in SF) as we often do. The service and food is consistently good although at 9PM that evening there were few diners. However...DINERS BEWARE: DO NOT mistakenly leave a credit card or wallet behind because Mr. Peter C. Ashbourne (boss, manager, owner?), will absolutely assure you that although he has over three hundred (300) of these regrettable conversation with customers each year !!! Peter will absolutely assure you tha this perfect staff from janitors, busers, waiters, to the top - are not involved with any of the over 300/year missing wallets or credit cards. "Perhaps the $500 I had in my wallet might be tempting"..."Absolutely not an I don't like you accusing any of my staff!" Defensive Peter? Well...maybe...just a little. However, with a boss so absolutely certain about the 100% honesty of 100% of his staff, seems like the perfect cover for maybe, just maybe one person on the staff who maybe, just maybe is a little less than perfect. Maybe, Peter, maybe? Any of the other "over 300 each year" customers out there who have received this high level of understanding and consideration from the Management at MoMos?

Went to Momo's after touring AT&T park. It was delicious. First, we used their valet parking for $11 while we were touring and then eating. Very convenient. Had lunch and their salads were wonderful. I had a pear and chicken salad. It was large, sweet and very tasty. Came with crostini slices and cheese, yum. My son had the Calamari, big dish for an appetizer and then the lamb burger. Cooked perfectly. Service was good. Lots of T. To watch if a game is on. Didn't go in the bar but it looked very nice. Definite place to try if you are in the area.

Great food and drinks at a reasonable price. Fun time to visit before or after a Giants Game! Located directly across from AT&T Park.

great ambiance! must have the oysters. very good pork dishes!

We ate here on a Saturday afternoon. My wife had a shrimp salad and I had their burger. Both were good.

The food at Momo's is great - the service is great. Many people hang out here before and after games - but it is insanely crowded - I would suggest going on a non-game day - you will be pleased with the quality of the food. The outdoor seating is lovely on a nice day.

We have picked this place for dinner before A's games, baptismal party, graduation celebration, after a funeral, you name it...the staff are there to provide excellent service and make sure you are happy and comfortable. Food is great. Selection is good. Couldn't be better.

This is I am sure a great restaurant. I was looking for a beer and a burger before a game. I had a beer and a tuna appetizer and hit the road. Way too high priced for pregame food! I went back a block and had a great burger and beer for a reasonable price in a less formal atmosphere. Melinda was a fine server but for pregame meal this was too pricey.

We chose this restaurant for a group (30) function. Nice room separated by heavy curtains and private. Food was good, not great, but good variety. Bar service and friendly staff.

We went for drinks after the game (On a recommendation by a policeman). The atmosphere was great, drinks were good, seating and location all were excellent. One thing ruined it, I paid for drinks (round cost $15) I gave the barman a 20, he did not bring me any change. I waited for several minutes watching him serve other customers heading past me 3 times, he did not acknowledge I was there crossing to pretend I was not waiting for him. I do know it's customary to tip in the USA but I would prefer to be given the chance to do so myself (and would probably not tip 30% for bar service) rather than have money blatantly stolen from me as if I were an idiot and / or so drunk I would not know what was going on. I chose not to address it there as I had a great day and did not want it to end badly.

Going to Giants games and stopping here for a beer goes hand in hand, but the quality and price of the food just doesn't add up. Overall its a great place.

Overrated and forgettable. Beautiful space, though.

As a loyal SF Giants fan, we would always see folks having a blast at the outside bar across the street from AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA. After attending many Giants games, we finally made a point to go there and eat. The restaurant itself is actually more upscale than I thought! We walked in the door to see nicely set tables with a chic decor. Since it was game day and we were dressed in our Giants gear, I thought we might be a little under-dressed. But, to my pleasant surprise, everybody had their gear on! It was a beautiful Fall day, so we asked to be seated outside. What a treat! A fun yet casual atomosphere, with the view of the Park right across the street. The wait staff was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived promptly but yet we didn't feel rushed. We ordered from the lunchtime menu enjoying gourmet salads, crab sandwhiches, and margarita pizza. The food was not only tasty, but the portions were generous requiring a few 'to go' boxes. The price was what you would expect to pay in the city. The bar just outside opens a few hours before game time, which provides a great outdoor social venue. We were lucky that it wasn't too crowded, but If going on a game day, go early. You certainly don't have to be a Giants fan to enjoy this restaurant, but it sure is a fun pregame thing to do! We'll be back.......

After the game was over, we sought refuge from the drizzling rain and the cold. This restaurant was terrific to get hot drinks and a light meal. Their French Onion soup was just right. The Margarita Pizza was shareable for four and the Chicken pot pie was a delight.

I booked reservations for early dinner before a Giants game, and they also offer covered parking for the game. Awesome!! The parking was $60, and is located "across the street" from the entrance to AT&T park!!! How easy is that!! They have valet service and after the game my car was at the curbside waiting for me to just jump in and go!! I was SO surprised at the personal service! Highly recommend doing this.

Went there before a game. Wasn't crowded but service was slow. Sat there for over 10 minutes and still had to go hunt down our server. Attitude was an "oh well"! Will not visit the place again.

Went to Momo's before a Giants game. Excellent food, service was a little slow to start, but then very attentive and helpful. The salads are fantastic and their half pound burger - delectable! Great beer and wine selction. Cocktails are fabulous too. A bit pricey, but a fun place to go and have a very good meal before a game. We even saw Joe Montana eating at a near by table.

Momo's might be a good place to eat but the crowded conditions make it very un-appealing. Might be better to go there when there is NO game across the street.

I gave Momos one star because there was nothing less to give them. We live across the street from Momos and have been going there for several years. The service is never consistent. Our neighbors refuse to go because of their bad experiences and tonight we had some of the same. My wife and I arrived at 5:45 and sat outside next to a group of people. The place was not that busy. The server that was taking care of the table next to us, ignored us for almost 20 minutes. My wife went into the bar to order a drink and was ignored by the bar tender as well. The only service that came our way was a bus person who cleared our table but never wiped it down. I asked to speak to the manager an relayed our experience. We will never return and feel that we need to share our experience. Beware!!!!!!!

This is in a great location for a bite to eat prior to going to the ballpark. Given its location it is overpriced however, the food was decent although not outstanding, The atmosphere is great before the game and worth stopping off for all Giants fans and baseball fans from other teams.

Fun place to have a bite to eat and a favorite beverage before the game. Great service and atmosphere.

We walked from the pier to the baseball park and saw this establishment had a good size patio for us to rest and have an afternoon glass of wine before heading back to our hotel in Nob Hill. It is right across from the diamond and I would imagine it would get pretty busy before and after the baseball games. The staff were very nice and although we didn't have anything to eat, the food around us looked very good. It is a family run restaurant which has a slight Mexican feel.

Good for Giants pre- and post-partying.

My wife brought me here for an Outstanding dinner, the service was wonderful and personable and the food was well prepared and served.

Obviously ballgame night so we went to Momo's for dinner first. We started with the Calamari ($18.00). I had the Burger with Bacon and Cambozola cheese ($22, for a burger, really?), and my friend had the Skirt Steak Salad with mixed greens, fuji apple, ginger slaw ($24, wow). We both had two martinis at $11.00 a pop. I also want to know what the$5.50 "surcharge" was, along with $4.00 "4 Up" charge was? Wasn't really explained. The total tab was $148 bucks (included tip), not cheap for basic food. San Francisco, Jeez... Fortunately the game was great. Next time we might just eat in the ballpark.

Great wings, French onion soup and steak! Server was super nice..location was right around the corner from our hotel

Good for post baseball again celebrations, but not much else

Located across AT & T Park, great place for drinks and snacks before a Giants game. Prices are reasonable and the dishes are plentiful! We had the dinner salad and margherita pizza. Our server was not so hot but location was awesome!

Overall, a mediocre experience. Guy up front had an attitude. Our server did her best but was clearly under-trained. Never saw anyone who looked like a manager. Our dishes were hit and miss. Way too expensive given the overall experience. It's San Francisco: they could and should be doing better.

This place is right across from the ballpark. Pretty convenient. Ive only had their food once, it was decent. Great place for a drink before or after the game. But just one. Too expensive for what youre getting, I think. Id rather head a few doors down to Petes or Pedros for a better atmosphere and cheaper food and drinks!

Love this place, such a fun place to grab a beer before hitting a game, or even grabbing a beer and watching a game. Its always packed with Giants fans and the atmosphere is always a great time, I have had a few less than good services here with the bartenders but the other 50+ times I have been here no other problems, unfourtionatley the few bad experiences with a rude server.. I have had a lot of my friends choosing other locations, but with the many times I have been here I knew better than to let those few times bother me because for the MOST part most of the staff is nice.

Made anther visit here before taking in a SF Giants ballgame. We come here regularly, before each and every game. My buddy and I will go nowhere else. Pricey but well worth it. After beer and lamb burgers. walk across the street and enter AT&T ballpark. The place is always buzzing with excitement.

What a really nice place - great food, great service, great atmosphere. We were going to the Giants game and got there a couple of hours before game time, and the place was filling up then, and was totally packed when we left (about half an hour before the game ). They had run out of frozen margarita's which wasnt ideal (especially since it was the drink special), but it did not take away from the experience. If going to Oracle Park, Moma's would be a great place to eat pre or post game.

We had problems from the moment we walked in the door. There was no one at the front reception desk. We spent a few minutes waiting for someone to seat us with no success. I finally went into the bar and asked the bartender about getting a table. The bar was almost empty, and the bartender gave me attitude when I asked for her help. She finally came around and took us into the dining area. The dining room was mostly empty as well. Our waiter took his time giving us menus. To make a long story shorter, the food was of poor quality and the service was equally poor. We ate here several years ago and received good food and good service. That was not the case this time. We will NOT dine here ever again and do NOT recommend this restaurant.

If you are going anytime during a baseball game, you will not get in without a long wait. We have learned there is no last minute decision to go here before a game. Reservations are a must. It is pricey. The location is fantastic. We love the patio and people watching.

Went to San Francisco to visit friends who had just moved there from San Diego. Momo's was on their list of restaurants to try - so they decided to take us for dinner - glad they did. I was a bit worried because it is literally right across the street from the baseball stadium and their was a game going on. Surprisingly, it wasn't too loud, even with sitting outside. We would hear the occasional cheering from the crowd which was kind of neat, even if you're not a fan of baseball. I actually think it was quieter outside than it was inside. The food was good. I was torn between the Turkey Pot Pie and the Lamb Burger. I chose the Lamb Burger, which was average. However, my friends ordered the Pan Roasted Chicken Breast and the Fresh Fish of the Day. Both were delicious. The staff was courtesy and helpful, even though it was a very busy night. If you just want to have a fun time and enjoy some good food, definitely try Momo's.

We went to MoMo’s after watching the Kurios performance in China Basin of Cirque du Soleil. Since MoMo’s is across from ATT Ball Park, and is touted as a sports bar, my expectations for the quality of food weren’t high. Yes, it is a sports bar with plenty of big screens, yet on a Sunday evening it was quiet and intimate. Our party of four enjoyed excellent service and a very good meal. The beet salad could have used a few more beets, but it was fresh and big enough to split. The lamb burger with sweet potato fries received a thumbs up from one guest and a “good but overcooked” from another. The gumbo and the cioppino were top notch. The cioppino is not served in a large deep bowl as we were used to, but the amount of fish in the dish made up for the lack of broth. A very good experience and we’ll definitely come back again. 3.5 STARS

Right across the street from AT&T Park, couldn't be better. However, if you plan to visit on a game night, get there well before 5, after 5 is reservation only, and I am sure reservations are made many weeks in advance. Televisions are everywhere, so regardless of where you might be sitting, you'll get to watch then game. We shared pizza and wings and had a few brews before we headed across the street for the game. Our server Emma, was very attentive, and personable. Nice clean place and the food was great.

Food is top notch. Directly across the street from ATT park so it makes a good pre game place to chow down. Prices are a little steep but that’s San Fran for you. You can sit inside or out. Parking is meters along the road so either walk or Uber.

Wandered into this place on our way to the game. Very nice service. We choose the grass fed hamburger. It was excellent. The French fries even better. It is high priced. Our burger and fries was almost twenty dollars. We had no problem getting in and the service was fast.

My husband and I really enjoyed lunch here. We shared the ahi tuna tartare and the French dip sandwich. Both were amazing! Our server was Ben and he was simply the best. We would most likely go back, but beware, it is a wee bit pricey.

The best place to eat before a Giants game is directly across the street at Momo's. Great menu and flexible staff - don't hesitate to ask to sub those fries (but they are great fries). Be sure to make reservations, they are packed on game days.

Located directly across from AT&T Park (home to the San Francisco Giant's), Momo's is the quintessential pre-game hang out. Ordering a hum baby from the satellite bar* on the deck on game days is a must before going into the park. *Closes 15 minutes after the start of the game.

I came here for lunch with some colleagues, we were a pretty large group. The restaurant is right across the stadium so I imagine that this is very popular spot around game time. The inside is nice and clean so probably they have fun happy hours here. Unluckily for us, we were there for lunch on a random day. Food is quite unremarkable. I had a turkey wrap, the meat was fridge cold and in general it was really bland, I ended up not eating much of it. Mind you, it was not _bad_ or anything, it was just really dull. Strawberry lemonade was all right. On the upside, the place is very fairly priced but unfortunately I left kinda hungry.

Went to this place after work, was close to our office. Wasn't a game night, so didn't have the normal hustle/bustle and people watching you might have when the Giants are playing. It did mean we had very attentive service, place wasn't that busy. Decent food, good place for a large group. Nothing to write home about, but decent all around.

Here's the bottom line...if you're literally the ONLY restaurant near a major attraction (AT&T Park, in this case), then you can basically operate however you want and people will come. Eventually, other places will flush this one out of business, but for now it is sufficient at best. First, upon entering, you can expect to be greeted by several burly bouncers (even though it is absolutely NOT a nightclub). They will ask for ID even if, like us, you are over 30. You'll find this strange, but will oblige because they are intimidating. Upon entering, you'll find this charade even stranger as you'll notice tons of kids with their parents who clearly passed the ID test somehow. Ultimately, these 'bouncers' don't make sense, but again, as the only restaurant in the area, do whatever you want Momo! Once you enter, a greeter in his late 20s - who clearly feels like his job as a restaurant host is the most prestigious position available to mankind - will show you to your seat. Despite more preferable seating available all throughout the restaurant, he'll smash you right between two other tables that are full because it's fewer steps for him and hey, you're the only restaurant in the area! Eventually, you'll order some overpriced food and drinks, and you'll convince yourself it's worth it because after all, you are right beside the park and the restaurant there can do whatever they want because for some reason they have no competition! In a nutshell, if I had the money and interest to invest in a restaurant, I can think of no better place to open one than anywhere near AT&T Park. You're only competition would be Momo's (and trust me, they're not much competition!) and you have thousands of potential guests for every game! Ultimately, if this place could shelf it's ego and just operate like a respectable restaurant, its food and service would boost its overall rating. Unfortunately, these potential pros get seriously overshadowed by the overpriced menu and the over-important welcoming committee.

What's worse than going to a game at AT&T and paying ridiculously expensive prices for eats and drinks? Doing the same thing before you get beyond the gate! Mom's is crazy overpriced for what you get. Go elsewhere!

My yacht club had Valentine's dinner here during our cruise out to South Beach. Great location within easy walking of the marina. We had tables in any configuration we wanted, the servers were all masked and took great Covid precautions. The cocktails were strong and delicious. The garlic fries were excellent, and I am very particular about my garlic fries. The pasta Bolognese was tasty and also the leftovers reheated well on our boat. The French Dip had tender meat with no fat attached, the roll was toasted perfectly, and the au jus and horseradish sauces were the best I've ever tasted. If you've read my other reviews you know I rarely give 5 stars, but Momo's deserves them.

Nice place and great service, but the food was not that good. Had the mac and cheese and the noodles were not cooked enough for me. Shared the pulled pork and it was not that good.

We stopped there after a ball game to have light bite, I had the mussels and fries and they were delicious, my husband had the chicken wings and we both had cocktails, very enjoyable and great service .

Came here for drinks after a Giants game one Sunday. Most bars around AT&T Park are packed after each game (especially after a Giants win), but MoMo's seemed the most lively. We got blatantly ignored at the bar and passed over for people who had been waiting for less time. When we finally did get the bartender to serve us, he had an attitude. This soured the entire experience for me. There are plenty of bars and restaurants surrounding AT&T Park to choose from that DON'T treat their patrons rudely. I'd suggest finding one of them instead.

This place is happening before all the Giants home games. Right across the street from AT&T so you can't be the location. My only negative comment is the drinks seem kind of expensive compared to other places close by but still cheaper than the stadium.

Went to prior to Sunday's game. This place was crazy probably due to it being 90 degrees and the game about to start. A shot of Bushmills was $9. Beers ran 5+. I'd go there again but only if I'm going to the game. Nothing unique.

good location. great for weekend brunches. beware however, that the service is so-so (was fairly slow ... seemed like they had only 1 person waiting on the outside while I was there) and if you order the Louis salad on the brunch menu (i ordered it thinking that I was getting a small shrimp salad .. however i didn't actually say "small" but I did say "shrimp") you'll get the large Crab salad unless you specify! I thought them assuming you want the large if you forget to specify size is a little presumptious ... especially since the large is a $20+ salad and small is like $12!

Was just there for drinks - way overpriced ($8 draft beers) but service was fine. Was there for the convenient location.

We were in town for a Giants game and stayed the night near the park. We were looking for a local restaurant to have breakfast. Momo’s Is located across the street from the ballpark and was a short walk so we gave it a try. There was another Giants game beginning at 1pm. We got there at 10:45am. Not too many people when we got there but definitely filled up by the time we left. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Server Felix was great. He gave some recommendations for what to eat and drink. We were not disappointed. I had the rancheros huevos and it was amazing. My daughter’s waffles and son’s pizza were great. The only negative is that there were only a few breakfast items to choose from……. But we understood Momo’s isn’t primarily a breakfast joint.

We visited Momo's before a baseball game in July. It was a Saturday and the place was hopping (hint: reserve on open table and skip the wait). We were stuck at the table and no one came by for at least 20 mins. Meanwhile 2 additional tables were sat next to us, and their waiters came and came back with drinks while we still had not been helped. The most frustrating part was that 2-3 service members kept watching us, all discussing who should take the tables but no one came over. Food was good, but service continued to struggle. My advice is to go on a non game day if you really want to enjoy the food, drinks and service that I'm sure is up to Momo's standards.

The best location for a beer before a giants game. Nice patio for the rare sunny day. Poor service but typical at a ballpark bar. $7 bottled beer.

We finally got to eat at momo's this year before a Giants game. The service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was very good. My son was very impressed with his huevos rancheros and my croissant sandwich was delicious. Kinda pricey but will definitely go back.

The hustle and bustle of game days makes this a fun but pretty crazy busy place to be. The staff seems to keep their wits about them but are clearly overtaxed. They need more staff who know what they are doing. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. I would return again game day or non-game day.

If you just show up during the season don't expect to get a table. With it's proximity to ATT Park this is the "go to" restaurant pre, during and post game. I anticipate when I want to go to MoMo's and reserve way ahead of time. Doing that I have never had a problem and the staff is attentive and always on top of things. Even as busy as they are i never have got the feeling of being rushed to get the next group in. Food and drinks are impeccable and never had problem in this area either. Do expect a boisterous crowd if you go during baseball season as the game is always on the TV's and the big screen that is setup. What more would you expect being across the street from the ballpark!!!

We ate here on Friday prior to the Giants game. We arrived to a very busy restaurant with great atmosphere. Travelling as a family of 2 adults and 3 children we asked if they had a children's menu but the simple answer was no but we can adjust anything of the menu....fantastic. The food staff were absolutely great, to say it was so busy we were very well looked after and even when my wives Lamb burger came out pink (our error) they quickly replaced it and returned well done. It was simply a great meal for us all prior to seeing the Giants play. Highly recommend.

We stopped at Momo's on a non-game night. The area was very quiet, and we were able to get a seat on the patio with no trouble at all. Very attentive staff. Food was good, and it arrived quickly. Very convenient to the ballpark.

i was in town last week to see the giants play in the playoffs and the wait staff and the restaurant were on fire everyone likes good service but these guys were fast and the place was packed it takes a certain kind of persons to work in this type of enviroiment and these guys and gals had it going on we only ordered apps and they were delicious the anchor steam beer which is brewed right there in san francisco is my favorite can't imagine the place being the same if the guiants aren't in town but when they are this place is a must visit we had the pizza and some other apps they were all home made and very tasty thanks momo see you at the world series

We enjoyed happy hour so much, we went back the next day! Great drink and food specials. Watched Auburn beat NC and others cheered with us. I wish this bar was in my neighborhood!

I realize you pay for the location and proximity to AT&T Park. It's a convenience thing. While the food is good, it's not ballpark like food, which pained my young family. Also, our baseball game dress was rather informal when we surrounded by suits (very nice suits).

We stopped here before the Giants game. Fun place, limited menu. Lamb burger, regular burger, some salads, mac & cheese and a they did have one gluten free pasta dish. Nice outside dining area. Seemed like most people were having drinks before the game

We stopped in before the game for breakfast. Great location right in front of AT&T Park. Good food and service! Will try the Ahi Nachos next time, they kept going by and looked delicious!!

Momo's counts on its proximity to AT&T Stadium for much of its business during the baseball season. While the space is pleasant, the food on the better side of average, the service is listless and slow. I visited on an evening where the dining room was less than half full and waited for 10 minutes for my waiter to appear. They may be better during the season.

Four of us went to Momo's before Giants game. Had reservations which was good idea. My son and I each had the chicken and pear salad and both enjoyed very much! Husband had pepperoni pizza and thought it was very good. Loved being able to walk across street and be at the ball park!
Great place to eat before the game
Momo's is located directly across AT&T Park. We always come here before heading to the game. The food and service is good. We make reservations through OpenTable to ensure we will have a table as this place gets busy!
