Yesterday we had a really bad experience at Bice, Palm Beach so we decided to try something completely different and this time in Miami. Momosan is a new addition to the Wynwood area. We are huge Morimoto's fans since his early days as an Iron Chef and even a sous chef @ Nobu NYC. Momosan didn't disappoint us. The place is really nice with great ambiance. All CODIV measures are taken so you can dine and don't have to worry about anything. Service was EXCELLENT, FLAWLESS. The food was tasty, delicious and creative, 100% Morimoto's style and the cherry on top...Morimoto is actually here, serving tables, cooking, working as usual, he doesn't stop. We couldn't believe our luck when he approached our table and cooked himself our wagyu beef. If you have been to Momosan in NYC, don't expect the same here, this place has a full menu, not just ramen, and the restaurant is comfortable, casual but trendy. Hurry up and try Momosan Wynwood as soon as you can, you won't regret it. Our only complaint? they only open for dinner.

My friend chose this place when we arrived in the area where this restaurant is located. Surprisingly, there was absolutely no one there after lunch, and we had lunch together in a cozy place. We ordered several dishes for two to share and were pleased with the ramen and Korean dish. The Peking duck seemed to us not as familiar as we order it in other places. Not enough cucumbers and onions and the flatbreads were not very tasty. Otherwise - good location, nice place, polite service. I recommend

The brunch here is an excellent deal, because it includes most of the items on their regular menu, but in smaller portion, . The sticky ribs is my favorite - the sauce is finger licking good and the meat is succulent with the right amount of fat. Of course, you have to order the ramen. Unfortunately, I find that the hot appetizers and meat dishes are so much better than their sushi. In a city with plenty of Peruvian places, they should don't call their dish ceviche if they can't make at least a decent one. For the tartare, the fish looked so gray and dull I was concerned enough to leave it uneaten. That said, there's still plenty to choose from to get you filled up and more.

Good Peking Duck, fantastic hot oil fish carpaccio, ok sushi rolls, excellent shrimp. Great relaxed decor, good cocktails, good staff with nice attitude, but could be more efficient. Really liked the place. Will be back to try more dishes.

This hot spot of the Iron Chef was amazing. Everything was tasty and full flavored to perfection. I cannot say enough about the service and food. As a bonus Morimoto himself cooked our table side Wagyu beef which was phenomenal. This is a must restaurant in Miami and also a fun area to explore.

Iron chef restaurant and all, I was son excited to visit this place. Food was ok, octopus was very rubbery. I was expecting an experience out of this place. Not happy.

Anthony was great and knowledgeable. Kept a great flow for us and didn’t miss a beat. One of the friendliest staffs in miami!

We arrived early for dinner. The service was average and a little clumsy. We ordered a number if dishes to share including the duck, ribs, gyoza etc. The food was average, was a little disappointed considering the price point. The space is nicely designed but a little tinny for the price point

Momosan has Peking decor, lots of parking, Covid 19 clean. Customers about 50% women, 90% locals. The menu is China comfort food: Peking duck tacos, pork dumplings, spicy wontons. Pricing and service very good.

We had not visited Momosan in about two years. My husband had been wanting to go and eat duck as he had enjoyed it so much the first time and I loved the ambiance. This time - not so good! The ambiance was more life a cafeteria, the duck was too greasy, and my sushi was bland. Not impressed!

Momosan was so much fun! Excellent food and service-thank you Debbie! Caring staff and DELICIOUS eats! You’re the best Chef Morimoto!

So, I had high hopes for this place as my friend recommend it and I generally trust his opinion about Asian food, also even though it is a chain, I thought that given the pedigree of the founding of the chef the standards in taste would have to be pretty good. I was wrong. Part of the problem is that I lived for many years in Asia and am of Asian (specifically Japanese) heritage so I am admittedly picky when it comes to Asian food. I also don't usually love fusion restaurants, but glancing at the menu I thought that momosan the dishes didn't seem too far off what would be served in a Japanese restaurant or izakaya. The other problem is that the restaurant does an endless brunch which attracts 20 something year old nouveau riche bro types that are totally obnoxious. When we arrived there was a table of 15 intoxicated people that were ruining the atmosphere of the restaurant - not the restaurant's fault per se, but also makes you wonder how desperate the business is for clientele that they have to do all you can consume brunches. My spouse and I ordered karaage to start and I had the "buribap" and he had the "bibimbap." The karaage was OK, but nothing special and they have to put like a sauce on it - karaage should generally be served with lemon but nothing more than that. The main courses of our respective baps which they "prepare" (sort of) table side were terribly salty and had way too much hoisin (or oyster sauce). Not only did it seem like the oyster sauce was mixed in to the rice prior to bringing it to the table, but afterwards when they were mixing it up table side as well. The sauce was a terrible mix of sweet and extremely salty and really ruined the dishes - I was extremely disappointed. None of the food was cheap either which was annoying given the fact that we could have ordered all you can eat and drink and gotten the same quality. All in all, if you consider yourself a connoisseur of authentic Asian flavors, do not waste your money, go somewhere else.

I’m an avid user of Trip Advisor but not many restaurants make me want to leave a review.. this was a phenomenal experience. One of the best culinary experiences of my life. Every dish was unique and well thought out. The service was outstanding. Plus, having Chef Morimoto personally cook our Wagyu was amazing. Definite highlights are the Sangrias which change weekly - we had the mango sangria, the Sticky Ribs are a MUST, the Wagyu NY strip was mouth watering, and the Tonkotsu was the best. What a great price for the best food I’ve had in a while. ALSO, felt very safe with covid with temperature checks, the window wall being open, and tables spaced out. Would go there again and again

Momosan does the asian food classics with a twist or just really well done. The hot appetizers are amazing especially the Spicy Won Ton, Chicken Karage and Bao. Ramens are good as is their Peking Duck. Casual setting for relaxed food and drink, strong Sake selection.

Truly awesome family brunch on Sunday. The server was a super Pro bringing plates as requested, staying in top of all 11 of us… All plates delicious (what an explosion of flavors!). Very refreshing Sale Sangria. Glad that music is at reasonable volume so families can talk… We decided as a family to do a monthly brunch here. See you soon!

I go often to Momosan, I always enjoyed. Tonight it was a real sadness! Little menu (they removed several choices), noisy and messy, service at minimum possible (in any case it was impossible to hear the waiter, with all the screaming), no dessert... only a sad cheescake... big disappointment, I won't go back!

All I can say is wow. This place is a gem. I would have dinner here every day if it was closer. The only issue is parking; but well worth the trouble. Highly recommend and will be back.

I had the privilege to visit chef Morimoto’s restaurant in Philadelphia many years ago. All those memories came flooding back today with this visit to his Miami spot. Set in the fashionable Wynwood district, this dining experience was out of this world. The spicy ramen is not to be missed at all. The broth is like nothing I have ever tasted and is out of this world. If given a choice, I would have kept drinking the broth all night long. The fried tofu pieces are crunchy and so so tasty. Their take on the traditional mango sticky rice is very unique and tasty as well .I am so so glad to have stopped in today and will definitely be back. Outstanding food, incredible attentive but not intrusive service is impressive.Indoor and outdoor dining are available . Temperature checks at the hostess station, spaced tables and cleaning protocols make it safe to visit.

Went to Iron Chef Masahuru Morimoto from TV and Michelin star to visit his new opening in Wynwood,Miami. Everything excellent. Great food, great service. Reasonable process. Great drinks. Wait staff wonderful

Totally a worthwhile visit! The quality of the sushi was excellent (the freshest of salmon!). The special order ramen (only 12 are made a day) was beyond expectation and the pop stickers amazing! My son dreams with going back!

We really enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner at Momosan. Everything is delicious in a simple way. Prices are also affordable and service is excellent. We will keep coming back. We loved the tuna pizza, the rolls, the wayiu steak!

This place was amazing. The food and service was great. I had the spicy dumplings and the Tokyo chicken Ramen and they were out of this world. Will definitely come back.

Food was amazing! The ribs are my favorites and the ramen was espectacular! Flavors are on point. The only critic will be the service, my server Miguel didn’t introduce himself, when I ask him for a recommendation he basically said everything is good. I had a previous experience at Momosan and it was a much better service with recommendations and a big smile and welcome.

Best ramen in wynwood. Approachable prices for a Morimoto restaurant. Didn’t even notice Chef Morimoto was there running the show low key.. great addition to the area.

Momosan Wynwood offers a solid Japanese dining experience. The ramen was good, though not the best in town, but the fried rice and fried chicken appetizer were truly tasty.
Outstanding!
Our adult kids like all the "latest" restaurants...Momosan did not disappoint! Incredible food and great service too. Appreciated the outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend!
