Deeelicious AND organic?! Yes! We've been to Moo Burger a handful of times. The first time we ordered a lot! The Moo Dog was and is perfect, as are the cheese burgers and sliders. We were not crazy for the bahn mi chicken burger, it was a little dry and lacked the bahn mi punch. We've also tried the french fries, which have actually improved since they first opened. The shakes are also very good (and organic). Great decor. Though you don't have to bring a child to dine here, you'll definitely fit in better, at least at 5-6pm, which is when we go. Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful.

Only one Moo Burger. Need i say more. cobble hill Brooklyn Treasure very unique menu they just do burgers right.

So delicious. Not cheap, but I love it. Fries are hot and perfectly salty, burgers are juicy and perfectly seasoned. Also, they have gluten free rolls, which makes my life. Period. Never had anything bad here.

We received a gift certificate for Moo Burger and decided to give it a try. The burgers were really, really good. Super kid-friendly, which we appreciated. A little pricey for a burger (about $10 and up for just a burger - sides are sold separately), but they were good. Yummy shakes, onion rings and fries too. I'd skip the nachos - we ordered them and after bitting into the chip, a lot of grease came spilling out.

I always try to patronize places that are mindful of where they source their food. My wife and I tried Moo Burger on a Friday night. The place was busy, but not overcrowded. We generally enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food and the service, however, were just not up to par. We had the pulled pork, and it was inedible. The meat was extremely fatty with a hint of rancid. The rest of the dishes that we ordered were bland. To top the experience off, the service was slow and inattentive. I commend the establishment for sourcing humanely-raised meat and local produce, but this was not something that I would want to experience a second time.

We visited with my sister who lives in Brooklyn and had a table for 7. The food was good and the service was appropriate however as I am no longer a teenager I hate the fact that I had to sit at a bench. Get rid of these and use chairs.

... which is something, given we only stayed in Brooklyn for a week. But each time we went (at either end of our holiday) it was full of families, with everyone obviously enjoying themselves. Thoroughly recommend it, and if we ever find ourselves in New York again we'll be sure to come back.

This area was lacking affordable, decent burger joints... Until I found Mooburger! FANTASTIC burgers! Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable and casual atmosphere. GREAT for families with young kids! Nice selection of burgers and salads...can't wait to return and try them all!

Food was ok (you can get the same or better in most places) but expensive for what it was. The real gripe here is that they were removing food from the table before we had finished and generally gave the impression they valued high customer turnover above looking after their existing customers. Which is a mistake because we won't be returning or recommending this restaurant. The staff looked harassed and unhappy, no sign of anyone in charge who cared. The bigger chains are better.

We came for lunch on a Monday, t’was very quiet as we were the only guests inside. No worries as we got really fast service. I had the steak sandwich w/ reg fries and my wife and a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back but this time for a burger and a beer!

Second time here. Took my son and his kids for early dinner (5:45). At that time, everyone had their kids so making noise was not a problem! Hamburger bowls were big. Kids had delicious fried chicken nuggets with fries. Waiter let me order that too. Very good food at reasonable prices!

Went over the Brooklyn bridge and wanted somewhere good to eat. Moo burger was very understated on the outside, but fab on the inside! We had a smokehouse and a moo-less, both were exceptionally tasty. We ordered fries and a portion of the fried mac’n’cheese balls, all was good. Then we ordered a couple of shakes, the peanut butter and jelly shake was amazing and my partner got the black and white, which was super chocolatey. Highly recommend.

I'm always up for trying new burger joints so was intrigued by reading the Yelp review and gave Moo Burger a shot. My son & I definitely enjoyed our visit for lunch on a random Thursday. Place was relatively quiet but I'd assume it's packed around dinner time and especially on the weekends. Back in the day, you'd say this place has a Bohemian feel but I guess today you'd say it's more of a Brooklyn hipster vibe. The restaurant space itself is ample - perfectly sized in fact where you don't feel claustrophobic nor that it's too big and impersonal. Also very clean! The one knock on the infrastructure is that it has only one bathroom - could see this being an issue when the restaurant gets busy. I had the Greek burger (pictured) with a side of the fried pickles. My son had a regular burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was great. I am a fan of lamb burgers and really enjoyed Moo Burger's take with the olive remoulade - it really took the taste up a notch. To close we had small (kids) shakes - the value isn't great at $5 a pop for something in a small water cup but after indulging on the burgers, portion control probably isn't a bad thing! My Bananas Foster shake was incredible. Can't wait to return!

This little gem of a place must be visited. I had a Greek burger which was fab. The staff were friendly and kind even letting the kids log onto their internet. A great place to chill and drink wine

Great hamburgers and hot dogs. Loved the fried pickles. Nice selection of beers. We were here on a Sunday and so there were lots of little ones around. Tables are narrow but we loved that as it seems more cozy.

Great quality meat! I wish fries came with the burger and not as an extra side$. The water would have been better with ice, but overall it was a pleasant experience with a tasty burger.

Fab place. Family night out and had something for everyone - spoilt kids and fussy vegitarian wife! Brooklyn has an amazing array of restaurants and we wanted to try as many as possile but this was the only one we planned to go back to in our weeks trip (apart from la vara)

Had a burger here with a good gluten free bun and a delicious strawberry milkshake. NOTE, the fries are NOT gluten free if you are celiac

Very good burgers, well served and most of all juicy and not greasy. Friendly staff, nicely located on Court Street. Quick service and not too expensive. Lots of families with kids but never too noisy.

Really good burger! We had an amazing time with my friends.it was very packed.food was good! Nice place!!!

Went there twice. Good, fast service. Burgers were enjoyable both times. Great place for a quick bite to eat. Decor and ambience is very pleasant.

I had to waste an hour yesterday in the area. I waited for the place to open and was seated quickly. Pretty soon all the tables were filled with parents with young children. I had a great burger with onion rings and a specialty Boylan soda.

MOO BURGER is an organic burger joint that’s kinda like BAREBURGER. As with Bareburger, depending on what you order, a meal here can end up costing you more than it should. Unlike Bareburger, however, Moo Burger’s menu thankfully doesn’t include Ostrich meat – although, in addition to beef, Moo has chicken, turkey, bison, lamb, salmon and “mushroom patties”. The menu lists many fancy-sounding burgers but I ordered the simplest and cheapest: the beef “All-American” for nine bucks. The All-American burger has lettuce, tomato, red onion and “Moo sauce”. I also ordered fries ($3) and “All Natural” Gus’ ginger ale ($3). (They don’t offer the common, less expensive brands of soda.) I found my burger to be on the small side. It tasted good. Not the best but good - about as good as Bareburger’s. Not as good as the BURGER BISTRO but better than SHAKE SHACK’s. I loved the fries. Moo Burger’s interior can be described as “rustic”, with mostly wood and white-washed brick, until you look up at the ceiling, where there have rows of thin metal slabs in modern, industrial style. They have booths to the right when you come in that are nice; tables that have less privacy (too close together, in my opinion) against the wall to the left, and relatively large “common” tables in between.

Food is DELICIOUS and GOOD for you! Oh and the milkshakes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Staff and ownership are very friendly and polite!

Quality meat, quality burgers and all sides. Very pleasant place, good atmosphere. Only suggestion - larger patties :)

Good food and beer . Tasty America junk food with cool atmosphere. Try chili and cheese frise:) . Its not the best burger ive had but still really nice option in Brooklyn.

Not worth a separate trip but if you're in the neighborhood and feel like a burger this is the place. Excellent burgers - although most served on a brioche bun (not my favorite). The lamb burger (the Greek) is really good, Very good milkshakes. Nice salads. Their fried mac and cheese good too. 'There are some booths, tables and some big picnic tables for larger groups. Wait staff very nice. My kids love the place. The 20+ times we have eaten here will probably last me a lifetime. Nice place

Came here because the location was close to where we were visiting family. We were greeted and seated immediately and they have a nice atmosphere. Couldn't tell who worked there or not because they were dressed in casual clothing without nametags. Food was ok, not fond of the turkey burger sauce but my friend loved her special that they had that day and the burger she ordered.

Very nice food and good service. Good burger and delicious fries. Also nice beers and other beverages.

A typical window display, decor and atmosphere for this restaurant located on Court Street, one of Brooklyn's lively shopping streets. A friendly and professional welcome, a not too long fast food menu with a good range of burgers, meats, salads, and milkshakes, not to mention a few beers and drinks. For us today, a simple burger (very nice and good minced steak, cooked as requested), with a peppered cheese and fries option, accompanied by a cold Belgian beer. A good time, maybe a little expensive, but we are in New York!

I've been to Moo burger in may 2014 and i had one of the best burger in NY. The place is really nice and the owner is welcoming. They have their own beer: the MooThunder! Recommended!

We've been three times and loved it every time. Treat yourself to a shake! The burger was juicy, the fries were crisp, the onion rings were fantastic.

This place was delicious, a small exclusive atmosphere but so fun and a great place to enjoy some casual quality food. The service was wonderful as well and the manger checked in with us a few times, smiling and happy. We got the street corn as an appetizer and it was wonderful. They have the greatest sides, the Mac and cheese balls come in a set of 3 and are so yummy. Fries are done to perfection as well. For alcohol they have either beer or wine as options, no liquor. (Not a problem here) The burgers were all incredible, you really couldn't go wrong with any of them. I added avocado to mine. Everyone in our party left happy.

I like Moo Burger, the way they are setup works for families. Very good burgers (different meats & toppings).

The burgers are very good quality and the Mac & cheese balls are so so Good.Definatly finish it with one of there Shakes.

Very good and family friendly restaurant. The burger selection is quite extensive and quality of food excellent. My meat was a bit overcooked but overall a nice experience.

Casual place, rustic and comfortable. We couldn't get seat without long wait at Joya so wandered into here. Very pleased with Bison burger and the there of us shared some excellent fries and onion rings. Limited beer choices but had a nice IPA draft.

Lovely place really nice staff and tasty food in nice naibourhbod ))) I was visiting them many times with my fiance and trends

We had the pleasure of dining at Moo Burger on a bustling Friday night. The place was buzzing, sorta loud, smiling faces. Perfect. The host and server were pleasant and efficient. The space was hip and a mix of singles, couples, and families. The beer list was not too shabby and priced well. The food was amazing. We had the Hangover burger and split a beet salad. The beet salad was a touch over-dressed, but, not enough to detract from the experience. More on the Hangover. It is bison, smoked bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and a fried egg. Cooked to a perfect medium. It was so tender. The egg broke and was running down my fingers, making a mess of me and the plate - Just the way I like it. It was such a solid burger. I salivate now just typing about it! Normally, when finished with a burger, I feel stuffed and unsettled. The Hangover, while chalk full of flavor, never left me feeling this way. Not sure how they did it, but, they made a burger almost seem like light faire. Perfect!

There's no question that the burgers at Moo Burger are excellent. The basic burger is great, but the salmon burger and others are also really good. That being said, Moo Burger servings are SMALL and slightly overpriced. With Bareburger nearby (larger burgers) and 2-8-2 Burger just around the corner (also smaller burgers, but much cheaper) you really need to think of Moo Burger as the place to go if you want the specific items they have on the menu. That being said, the burgers and sides are all really great. Hard to find something to dislike here.

I rarely eat burgers at restaurant but this place I would recommend. The decor is very cute. The staff were cute and attentive. The burger creations all sounds wonderful. I ate a bison burger. It was delightful. The sandwich had the balance. The burger size was modest but perfect for the other ingredients. The standout was the sweet potato fries with syrup.

The staff are super friendly here. Burgers are all freshly cooked to order, and are not only beef but veggie, bison, salmon and lamb. I am not one to rave about hamburger buns, but the buns here are light and not at all doughy. I had the Brooklyn Chilli burger and it did not disappoint.

A high energy place at any time, superstorm Sandy blew us into Brooklyn in search of heat, light and food, so we headed straight for the comfort of this well run restaurant. The menu is filled with taste sensations, from the plethora of burger and hotdog choices to the yummy sides. I had my first fried pickles in some time and they were really good; we also enjoyed an assortment of beef and chicken burgers and the 'dirty dog,' which if you love beans and hotdogs with the barest undercurrent of a spicy bite, this one is for you. Best of all is the relaxed, pleasant atmosphere... a welcome choice, whether you are escaping the aftermath of a superstorm or just in the mood for food with fun as an integral ingredient. This restaurant seems to be especially loved by families with children.

Stopped here on a Saturday lunch time, had a lazy burger, sweet potato fries and a good blonde beer. We were visiting from London and staff were so helpful and accommodating with our requests for places to head to in the afternoon. Great selection of burgers which were very tasty!

Good service, decent portions and organic meats. A great place to bring kids. Onion rings were fantastic tho fries are too small to share!

This was my first time here, and I have to say that the decision to come was the best decision I had made that night! I had the regular burger, and fries nothing fancy. I loved the taste of the burger, everything was freshly prepared and when I'm in this part of town I will definitely come back. The only thing though, I would agree with the rest of the reviews are the prices. A tad high, but I just loved it too much to let it affect me. Just had to add that for anyone low on cash.

before taking off for a bike tour with baja bikes eating a smoke house burger @moo burger with family it is our 30 st anniversary of being married and we were surprised by our children with a helicopter flight above manhattan what a surprise the burger tated marvelous

Delicious burgers, light fries (super delicious sweet potato fries!), great service...no fuss perfection!

Very nice place in Brooklyn. Worth at Burger, the calm atmosphere and Family. Its far from a fat burguer. Healthly and very well preapared.

It does burgers and similar things, as you would expect. My mac & cheese topped burger was amazing, so good. The sliders off the children's menu seemed pretty good. My 8 year old companion very much approved of the root beer ice cream floats, also. The server was a bit offhand, they don't do coffee, and the sauvignon blanc was not great. 3* would be harsh, however, but it wouldn't take too much to push it up to 5.

My friends and I found this place while on holiday. The food here is phenomenal and the service is superb too. The waiters are helpful and friendly and constantly bring you more free water. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

We were 4 adults and 2 children,7and 9. We Had an assortment of burgers and fries, soft drinks ,a milkshake and two beers. With tip the bill was over $160. The food was good but way over priced. Two members of our party said the preferred Five Guys.
Love These Burgers
Was in New York for a week staying in Brooklyn & was recommended this place. Great call. More burgers than you can think of, hot dogs, sweet potato fries etc this is just what I expected from NYC. Great burgers, quick service and your full for a day. Top marks Mr Mooburger.
