I have traveled extensively and been to Morocco. The food at Moroccan Bites is authentic and delicious. The service was superb! The desserts are first class. Highly recommended!

I have visited this location on a number occasions and have never been disappointed. My last visit was on an evening for dinner with my staff as we were in SA for a conference. Anyone visiting SA knows you can find some of the best Mexican food prepared in numerous kitchens throughout the city. While we all enjoy that, several of our palates required a break from the cuisine found in abundance throughout the city and I suggested- Moroccan Bites. After seeing it featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, I thought this would be a nice diversion and it was actually more than that. Since there were 4 of us in the party, one of the sisters working in the resturant made suggestions that allowed us to share. To our amazement each dish, whether it was featured with lamb, chicken or veggies, it was delicious. The combinations of carrots, dates and other spices really made for very pleased palates. The hot mint tea no matter the season is also a must try. This business is operated by what appears to be family with two sisters, a daughter of one of the two (I think) and the mother of the sisters who works as the cook. Every dish is prepared in that special way that only moms can do (no matter what walk of life we come from). Throughout our meal the sisters visited to share their background and culture with us and at the end or our meal, the mother (cook) came out to meet us. It was truly a warm and pleasant experience. We ended the evening with a purchase of their homemade baklava to go. Each family member expressed their gratitude and appreciation for our patronage. Now upon each visit, I make sure that if I go out to eat, I make at least one stop at Moroccan Bites. Same service/Same gratitude/Same quality/Same great tasting food.

They serve small portion for your dollar . Orders take to long . They set for the tip you don’t give one they charge you the tip . They charge you for extra condiments have a lemon ketchup . Hot sauce there food is not authentic . I would not come here again period beware of this place they think there still in there country and do bussiness un American way so do me favor don’t waste your tip and money and time here . If your the owner reading this yes you that’s not how to run a restaurant my friend do not automatic charge tip 20 percent or any percent and charge for condiments that’s dumb

Like every other idiot, we went to this restaurant because we saw it on (Digusting) Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. That alone should have told us better, but anyway. It is a nice looking place in a horribly run-own strip mall and the place was filled with other people who watched the same show as us. The Menu makes everything sound good, and the owner is a very cute lady... who sadly lacks any clue as to how non-existent the service is (Maybe they are family members). I ordered the Hummus appetizer, which wa four bucks for four a small amount of plain old garbozo beans, whole in a little bowl. Yawn. For an entree, I ordered a shrimp tangine dish. It took for-ev-er! But when it arrived... those tiny tiny little cocktail shrimp were RAW! You would think that they could have coooked them on the way from whatever dirty third world asian country that they came from , but no. After trying to get the waitress for ten minutes or so , I finally was able to sent them back. After thirty or so minutes of no service, the waitress brought back what I believe to be the same plate of RAW, tiny shrimp. The owner stopped by and I explained to her my toxic dish. She said that they didn't want to overcook them.. I explained that after having lived on the coast I knew what raw was and those horrid little translucent insects on the plate were not safe to eat. She asked how they tasted, and I said I didn't know, but I'd take them home and cook them for my cat and maybe the cat would like them. The only other food I had was some flavorless yellow rice, which was seved in a huge pile as the only side dish with the order. The others in my party had edidble but bland chunks of meat, and a chicken dish which seemed ok. I'll write this off as another crappy restaurant.

Great Moroccan food in an unassuming spot. Large menu serving traditional Moroccan food. Staff were really friendly as well.

All the awards and the credentials would have you thinking this place would blow you away. It certainly did not. The service was excellent but the food was just okay. The kafta was overly salty, the rice was bland, and the chicken and lamb combos in the kabob platter were given in teeny tiny portions. I've had much better tasting elsewhere as well. Another trip to try different items might improve the experience, but first impressions were not mind blowing

Reviewing this place not if it’s food, but service. I thought to try this place for the first time with friends and our kids. We called ahead to see if they had a table available for 8 and they did. Upon arrival, we were not greeted or acknowledged. We approached a younger gentleman and said that we just called for the party of 8. As he was about to seat us. The manager Nadia, rudely interrupted and was apparently not happy that we had kids in our party. Gave us an excuse saying she’s going to have another big party coming in, but she’ll seat us anyway and made us feel as if we aren’t welcomed there with kids. We felt uncomfortable giving her our business, so told her that we will not be eating here due to the distasteful service we are receiving. She got smart with us and said, “ok, thank you!” as if it were a joke. We asked her for her name and she then mocked us by getting in our face and saying, “oh, my name is what’s my name?!”. We continued to tell her that her poor attitude is no way for a business owner to treat costumers. She shooed us away with her hand and said she doesn’t have time for us. Get off your high horse Nadia. Just because your restaurant was featured on Food Network, it does not give you the right to treat people as you please. I will never give them my business and I will tell others to do the same.

based on other TA reviews, we decided to give Moroccan Bites a try while on a visit from Tampa. Although a litle off the beaten path, this gem is certainly worth the effort. Before I go further, people must understand that Moroccan food IS NOT your standard Middle Eastern food. As the owner pointed out to us, Morocco is as close to New York as it is to Cairo. That being said, those used to Middle Eastern food will also fall in love with Moroccan. I had the Lamb Tagine, while my companions had Chicken Kabob and the Roasted Lamb special. All meals were excellent and plentiful. Save room for desert as the selection is varied and delicious. we tried a sampler plate of their 6 different types of Baklava. It was heaven . This is a family owned and run restaurant and it shows in the care of preparation and the pride in giving excellent service. We felt like we were eating at a friends house, not at a restaurant. This place is a definitee do over for us on our next visit.

A very jolly manager/owner greeted us and helped serve us and she was the highlight of our visit. The chicken pastilla was the best of the dinner. The chicken kebab was also excellent. We found the kefta and merguez tasty but a little dry. We also quite liked the baklava sampler. On the beverage front I must say the mint tea is as good as it gets, albeit a little sweet for me.

Vegetarian couscous and lentil soup was delicious. The atmosphere was family friendly and the shrimp was also very good. It was clean and has an interesting interior.

Upon arriving in San Antonio, we headed straight for a Triple D joint and found this gem! We ordered the chicken kabob, lamb shank and Moroccan salad. All were delicious. Our host/waitress was kind enough to write down the names of several restaurants in San Antonio for authentic cuisine. She even gave us the name of places in Houston that she and her Moroccan family frequent for authentic dining. We will definately return to this restaurant!

I have honestly never had worse service in a place in my life. It was a busy night, so you could excuse being slow ( I was a waiter for a while and usually totally understand), but we actually never got our drinks from the waitress after she took our order. We kindly asked a busboy after waiting 30 minutes and he quickly brought us drinks. The waitress never checked for refills either. She then proceeded to bring us mint tea that we never even ordered or asked about that we thought was complimentary and at the end tried to charge us 9 dollars for it. She did change this, but it was inexcusably bad service. With the 20 minute wait for a table included, we did not receive our food for more than an hour and a half. The food was delectable once we got it, I would recommend the meat tray, and apparently many vegetarian options also that my friend really enjoyed. Neat décor also. Had the food not been so different and good, I would have rated it a 1 for the service. If I went back, I would order the food to go, to avoid the horrible service, although I would at least hope it is not like that often.

The resturant which names moroccan bits where located in San Antonio is not a moroccan resturant they sell just their raspy nothing more, and if you want to order a bastila or a koskosso which are the main deshies in morocco they will tell you we don't have it. Sham on them. They take with me badly on the phone as if they are paying me.

It is hard to find but well worth the visit. The complex flavors of every dish we ordered was amazing. The food was prepared to order and was delicious.

Not sure when this restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives, but the memory of the event looms large. Big poster, window dressings and catering truck all promote the 3D's endorsement. We wished it lived up to the press. Had to work to get our server's attention regularly, but it was a little endearing that she was talking with someone who was an obvious regular. If I was a regular I would want that type of attention. The meat combo platter and the shrimp tagine were both solid dishes. The shrimp dish had depth of flavor but quickly became one note. The tea was fantastic: Very sweet and minty-flavored. It's a solid restaurant that I would recommend, just don't go in with huge expectations.

Paid this restaurant a visit strictly on recommendation from Guy Fieri, and I was deeply disappointed. This restaurant is very much over-rated. The food was very average, nothing really stood out. The chicken tajine that I ordered was shockingly bland, under-flavored, and dry. The Moroccan bread was not even warmed when served. I do not eat lamb, maybe their lamb dishes are on a different caliber, but my dining experience was quite disappointing. The only exception was their desert: The baklava was actually quite outstanding, albeit a bit pricey. The wait staffs were very warm and welcoming, but that was not enough to make up for the lackluster food.

My moroccan friend wanted to frequent your restaurant, and my nephew saw your restaurant on Drive-ins/Diners/Dives...Upon arrival the atmosphere was beautiful and authenic Moroccan decor. The owners and Mama chef were very friendly and helpful in ordering...Mama is a wonderful cook...Not only are the meals delicious, but inexpensive, and the desserts are fabulous...

actually I ordered Harera soup it's delicious and tasty and most popular thing in Moroccan's restaurant is Tajen really good . I recommended this restaurant.

Moroccan Bites is by far my favorite Restaurant in San Antonio. I love this place. It is family owned and the food is amazing. The food is cooked by the sweetest Moroccan Mama in the kitchen and her two daughters also work in the restaurant. The food is authentic and simply amazing. The lamb falls off the bone and is sweet and succulent. The safran rice is fluffy and so flavorful. When I have visitors in town, I always take them there and have yet to bring someone, who didn't love it as much as I do. Try it out, you won't regret it!

If you've never tried Moroccan food, you need to try this place. It's awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining anything you want to know concerning the food, how it is prepared, what is in it, etc. If you're a fan of coffee, don't leave without ordering the Moroccan coffee! It is absolutely delicious. If you're worried about caffeine, don't even bother. This stuff will definitely wake you up!

We won't be going back. After we were seated, we waited 15 minutes to get menus. I ordered a chicken dish and was told they were sold out, but later saw it being served to tables that came in after we ordered. My partner ordered bread with his entree and got rice. He got his entree a good ten minutes before I got mine. My order was for the daily special, but there was nothing special about it. Two small pieces of lamb in a sea of saffron rice with no other seasoning, sauce or garnish. My partner saw the kitchen staff heating the already cooked rice in the microwave - no wonder it tasted bland and dry. Finally, I waited 15 minutes at the counter to pay while the owner chatted with friends.

My wife and I love eating here, it's our favorite restaurant in San Antonio, and we LOVE to introduce friends to this place. First off, the food is SUPERB. So flavorful and delicious, I can't put it into words. I'm working my way through the menu and I have yet to order something I didn't like. I know everyone raves about the lamb shank (and they should, it's insanely good) but the Shrimp Peal Peal and the Fish Tagine rocked my world recently. Their desserts are INCREDIBLE. All are made in-house and you can taste it. My favorites are the chocolate mousse cake and the oreo cheesecake. My wife adores their baklava. The wait staff is wonderful as well! They make us feel so warmly welcomed, every time we dine. The ambiance of the restaurant is top-notch as well. Bottom line: I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE :)

I know it is almost 2 years since I was at Moroccan Bites in San Antonio. Reading the lastest reviews, I feel I can still contibute. Judging from most of the reviews, things are still the same. Yes it is in a strip mall on the outskirts. It is is long and narrow. What I liked is that part of the kitchen is right there as part of the resturant. I was there on a Triple D road trip. This is definitlty a place for the locals, if you didn't know about it you would never find it. I'm glad I did. I had the Kafta Kabobs. It is ground lamb kabob with Moroccan spices. It is not spicy but I got the hot sauce that you see the chili seeds in. Outstanding. The rice is one of the best resturant rices I have ever had (yes I am a rice snob). The bread was also great, I just wish the was a sauce or gravy for it to sop up. Service was great and I got to meet the owner (she was on the show) on my way out. All in all Moroccan Spice is worth visiting

What a wonderful place to dine. Great and authentic food with a wonderful family atmosphere and gracious love of life with every dish served. Lamb dishes and desserts were superb! Closed on Tuesdays, and be sure to call ahead for some special dishes as they require a day in advance. Moroccan cous cous is served on Friday and Sat.only due to authentic preparation.

This restaurant would surge ahead and be quite popular if the owner knew how to run it. Not having been there (yet) I cannot say it is really Moroccan decor, but when you step inside you feel as if you are not in San Antonio. The dishes were all foreign to me (no pun intended) and the manager had a little difficulty explaining one from another. Throwing caution to the wind we ordered a Moroccan salad, Fish tagine, Moroccan couscous, Arabic coffee, and a Hala shika. It was an interesting experience, a break from the routine. The food was good, but the service was not. We were not told how long it took to prepare our orders and I was served while my wife sat patiently for almost 10 minutes. I unknowingly had to wait 15 minutes for the coffee which was good, quite strong. Dessert was way too much for one person, loaded with caramel. The young ladies waiting the tables appeared to have no training or experience. I really cannot rate the quality of the food not knowing what is is supposed to taste like. Unfortunately there is not a "good" rating. The experience was interesting, but I doubt we will return.

After our son spent a summer in Morocco, we wanted to find an authentic Moroccan restaurant so he could introduce us to the cuisine. We drove 4 hours from Houston to eat here and it was wonderful. My son said it was the same as the food he ate in Morocco. The bread and hummus were really good. We had chicken couscous, lamb and kefta with vegetables, seafood pastilla, chicken bites, and of course mint tea and baklava. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and visiting with the owners. They were friendly and interested in our son's trip and happy to talk to us about Morocco. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return next time we are in San Antonio.

My wife and I had heard of this place and gave it a try on Friday evening around 9:00 - they're open until 11:00, no problem getting seated but it was about a third occupancy. It was easy to find on Wurzbach Rd. & Evers Rd. and we started with the Moroccan chicken bites in a puff-pastry shell with mint tea as an appetizer. Get this and soon. It was deliciously seasoned and they showed they knew how to handle pastry dough. Our main was the seasoned chicken on a bed of couscous and for afters we had some baklava, all made there in the family-owned restaurant. It would have been nice to get a military discount in San Antonio, but not here. The food is great, though, coming from one who traveled in Tangier.

We were in San Antonio on spring break with our 11 year old. I made him and his dad go with me because I wanted us to try something different. I ordered chicken tagine and my husband ordered lamb tagine. It had potatoes, carrots, and peas. The sauce was so flavorful and had a hint of lemon. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are now looking for a restaurant at home that serves Moroccan food. If you have a picky eater like my son they may not enjoy the meal as much.

I have eaten here many times but tonight was the last. Terrible, terrible service! If you don't care what you eat or how long it takes to be served mediocre food, then this is the place for you. Good Luck!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Morrocan Bites for the first time, and was not disappointed. I was with a large party (11) and this was the only negative because seating is very limited for large parties. The management was very accommodating and combined two seating areas by the entrance of the restaurant. It was not the ideal seating arrangement, but we soon made the best by the the great food and company. I ordered the spicy olives as an appetizer, and lamb tangine which was served with vegetables and a large side dish of saffron rice. The lamb tangine was extremely tender and juicy; a must to taste. One of my my friends ordered hummus, which is is served with whole hominy and a savory sauce. I highly recommend it! I also ordered the mint tea which was very tasty, a bit too sweet for me , but never the less good. My sister ordered their traditional coffee which was delicious! The coffee which is brewed in a small teapot has a very bold flavor. Please note that cream is not offered with the coffee. Customer service was excellent. The waitress was friendly and extremely patient with all of our requests and questions. The owner was also very attentive to our table and often checked if all was good. I plan to return and try more of their dishes! Buen Apetito!

We've now been here twice, with six or more each time. When the food is good, it's really, really, good. For example, the chicken and lamb tagine dishes were very well done, with large portions, excellent seasoning and good vegetables included. The fish was, unfortunately, over-cooked, too highly seasoned (you wouldn't know it was fish). Chicken Pasilla was too sweet (it has powdered sugar on it) and the adults didn't like it, but our 3-yr-old grandson absolutely loved it! Appetizers we've tried were all tasty, especially the "chicken bites" (need to be ordered immediately when you get to your table as they are cooked to order and consist of excellent puff pastry filled with minced chicken and spices). Prices in the $10 to $20 range for entrees - so not a cheap thrill, but unusual and worth a visit.

I have been here several times. The inside is beautiful! Food is great. Today I had the 3 meat kebob combo. So yummy! Spices were right on.

This was our first time to eat Moroccan food. We came here based on Diners drive inns and dives recommendation. The lady who seemed to run the place waited on our table. She was great. We could not decide what to order, so she asked what meats that we liked and we asked to try lamb also. She ordered us mint hot tea to start our meal, while we were waiting for the meal to get prepared. The tea was delicious, sweet and refreshing. Each of the three dishes was delicious. We received a meat sampler, a chicken and vegetables, and a lamb shank and apricots. The lamb shank and apricots stole the show, although all three dishes were great. We will be back, really unique experience.

Ok. So we fell into the trap. We saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and the food looked so tasty on my HDTV that my hubby and I just HAD to go check them out. When we first pulled up to the place, we just had this feeling that this was going to be an "interesting" experience. We shook it off and ventured inside. The first person that we encountered was a young lady who leaves a lot to be desired in the personality department. Wouldn't you know it! She would essentially be my waitress. (And I use that term very loosely). She figured out which table she wanted us to occupy and told us to go find it. Nice. Ten minutes later she shows up with menus. Before I got there, I already knew what I wanted...but of course I didn't order it. Stupid me! I chose the dish that my waitress suggested because at this point I hadn't written her off and this was my first Moroccan dining experience. Who should know better about the dishes than the waitress??? My mistake. I'm owning it. So I ordered this lamb dish that was touted as a specialty dish. It was literally two hunks of dry, flavorless lamb swimming in a sea of saffron rice. My husband ordered the Moroccan Couscous, which was essentially the same dish that I had (dry lamb included) with nicely steamed veggies and Sahara style couscous. The waitress that I wish I had walked by and like magic, she asked me if I wanted some lamb sauce...(meaning that our meat did once have some gravy but they were hoarding it in the back!) I guess she could see the disappointment on my face. Her name was Waffa (apologies if I misspelled the name). She was an absolute joy. Then another very personable lady (I'm assuming she's the chef, owner or both). She offered my husband some hot sauce to help kick up his dish a bit. Needless to say the attention that these two ladies showed to us literally helped to salvage what was turning out to be a disaster of an experience. Ok, so we're finished with out meal and we are sitting there...napkins in plates and our "waitress" never acknowledges that we are done. Apparently that's how it's supposed to go. Not once did she tell us that we were supposed to pay up front. After sitting there for about 15 minutes, my husband goes to the front and the owner advises that it's their custom to allow you to sit and enjoy your food and company and then you can pay at the front when you are good and ready to leave. Would have been nice to know that. Then again, it would have been nice if Waffa were my waitress from the beginning. Unfortunately, I don't think that the kindness of Waffa and the owner is enough for us to give this place a second try. What a let down!

We kind of stumbled upon this place by accident when we couldn't find the restaurant we were looking for. This was our first time visiting. The decor fit the restaurant. The service was rather indifferent to us. They didn't seem to care either way what we wanted. The waitress did suggest some foods but was so fast we didn't understand. The lamb kabab was tasty but the portion very small. The rice was bland. The chicken kabab was dry. The hummus was good but bread not good. The price was a bit high for what we got. Also no fountain soda only can or bottled soda. We will not go back.

Service was great, food was incredible. Went there multiple times. First time, I asked for konafa, but they were out. I was told to come back Sunday for some. She made it and waited for me to show. I’d go weekly if I could.

I'm very familiar with this type of food having eaten all sorts of N. African food for years in Europe. It was interesting to see how they have modified, presumably to suit Texas tastes. Couscous is only offered on Fri-Sat as a special, so it was a bit disappointing to not have that option. However, the tagging options were available, and all of the side dishes were quite delicious. Topping off with amazing pistachio baklava and a strong cardamom-flavored pot of coffee for two? That was worth the trip alone!

OK, so after my disappointing visit to a Triple D recommended place in Memphis, I thought I would give Guy another chance. He totally redeemed himself with this suggestion. I really enjoy Moroccan food and generally find it to be the best of the Middle Eastern cuisines. Having said that, on my last visit to Tangier in January I was disappointed with what I ate there. So it was a great surprise to find a place in San Antonio that serves better food than in Morocco itself. I ordered the Shrimp Peel Peel Tagine and my coworker a Chicken Tagine both were outstanding. We also ordered the famous mint tea and it was exactly like in Morocco. For dessert we had some Briouats and Chebakia, I have no idea how they are able to make them so good, they are actually better than what I had shipped from Morocco. This an awesome place with some great home cooked cuisine - a must try.

Learned of this restaurant by way of "Dinners, Drive-ins, and Drives" and glad we ventured away from the Riverwalk to enjoy this small, family restaurant. The kebabs were superb, as was the vegetable tangine. DO NOT pass up the in-house made Baklava, especially with pistachios; to die for!

Love the mint tea and hummus! Yummy chicken pastilla. My husband enjoyed moroccan couscous with lamb. Everything is fresh and the service was very good. We will definitely be back.

I've read reviews stating this place serves middle eastern and Arabic food. True they are influnced by these cultures but this is Moroccan food. This was my first time trying Moroccan food and it was delicious. The restaurant is in a business center that looks abandoned but once you step inside you step into another world. Inside is decorated moroccan style, nothing fancy but nice. The service was excellent last night. Food is made fresh and good size portions. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. I will definitely start eating here more often and recommend you give it a try.

I had the meat combo, it was delicious. My wife and soon had the chicken kabobs, they were juicy and filled with flavor! We also had the humus, it was very good, it was different than your standard, the beans were whole but awesome. We also had done of the mint tea it was spectacular! This place is a must try!

I wanted a change from the burgers and BBQ scene and went to this Triple-D restaurant. This certainly was not a diner, drive-in or dive but it was a good heads up. Everything is made fresh and very tasty. I am in town for a conference and back in NJ I frequently eat middle eastern and by that standard this place rates amoung the best. I had the Moroccan Salad of chopped cucumbers, tomatoes and olives with a light oil and lemon dressing (I know it as King Salad). For entrée I had a Kefta Kebab on Moroccan Rice. To finish with a flourish I had the Konafa with sweet rose water (this is phyllo filled with caremalized pistachios). If you live local to this restaurant I would certainly recommend it become one of your regular go-to places. If you are visiting I would recommend it too, but its a bit of a schlepp from downtown. I had a rental so it was easy for me.

We've dined here about 4 times or so. We have enjoyed all our meals and always experienced kind, friendly service. This family owned spot is a gem in a world or chain locations. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to explain the different dishes. Wonderful unique restaurant for diners with Vegetarian and Gluten Free, Dairy free concerns. We brought a family with diet concerns and they happily had lots of healthy fresh options! The tea is very sweet but worth trying. We also reserved the special tables for a birthday celebration. My daughter loved sitting with the pillows and sipping tea from the middle eastern pots. Expand your culinary horizon and try this place. Take time to talk to the servers about the food prep. They are very sweet. We will be back again!

I got turned onto Moroccan food a while back and now make it a point to find good places when ever I travel. I found this place because it was on Man vs. Food. I was not disappointed, the food was delicious. The ambiance was pleasant, and the customer service was wonderful. I would go again and would recommend this place to others.

Visited with my friend and it was just a littel after lunch, not many people there. We had the kafka (spelling) kabob sandwiches. The food and service were excellent and this is one place we will be back to.

First time to try Moroccan Bites. The service was fabulous, so helpful and attentive. We ordered tagine & lamb kabob. Both were delicious and reminded me of meals we had in Morroco. Desserts were killers too. Will definitely return again.

While on a conquest to go to every place in San Antonio featured on the show Driveins /Diners/Dives. Definately was one of the best. Had the Lamb ka bob with rice and a side of traditional hummus. This is a must have if you go. Also we followed up our meal with the mint tea and backlava, another must have. These are very nice people and they run their business with their culture and values, and in Morocco it is custom to leave you alone with your meal, I say this because the bad reviews I read are about the service.

Walked in sat immediately, waitress went over the menu. I've had Moroccan cuisine before so nothing different about the menu. Normal choices. Started with a Moroccan salad was covered in green olives which I was not use too so slightly ruined it for me. Main course was lamb couscous. Plenty of couscous, vegetables but light on the meat. 2 pieces but 1 was mostly shank bone. Deserts were nice good selection. Overall was a great stop just needs server work but since it's all family that most likely will never happen. Still worth a visit.

It is very hard to find an authentic Moroccan Cuisine in the US, and was very pleased to find this one based on a recommendation from a friend. I would say that I had the same experience when I visited Rabat, Morocco, and ate at Tajine & Tanjia Restaurant (Check out my review). The service was outstanding and the food as I expected, so fresh, delicious, with all those multiple flavors of Moroccan spices, just amazing. Actually I went beyond the main dish which was a tajine of lamb with prunes and almond, and ordered a dessert, the cookies and the lemon cake were just amazing. Do notget mewrong, but if you are looking for an authentic Moroccan Restaurant, go here, you will thank me for it.

I've spent 2 weeks in Morocco, and was fortunate enough to eat in several private homes. This food was similar to what we had in private homes. We began with carrots and chickpeas as our appetizer, and both were delicious. The tea was exactly like the tea in Morocco that you are served at every occasion at all hours with fresh mint.. The lamb tagine was tender and flavorful. We chose not to have dessert, but I will return for it, because I saw they had an almond pastry that was addictive in Marrakesh. In the original, it is coiled like a big snake on a large platter. In the case, I saw they had cut rows of the pastry so that it looked like 6=8 tubes side by side. Definitely will be returning.

She took the time to explain all the dishes. Afterwards, she told us about all the other local restaurants that my daughter should visit, since she is moving here. She gave us a lot of inside information. Incredible! And the food was excellent. I had never had Moroccan cuisine before. The hummus was unlike anything I had ever had. The lamb was delicious. In fact, everything was excellent.

Wow! The food here was amazing and I truly mean that. My husband and I both had soup appetizers, full entrees, desserts and drinks (moroccan coffee and tea). From beginning to end the meal was near perfection. My entree was chicken in a flaky bread with some powdered sugar and cinnamon - it doesn't sound like an entree but is was wonderful and actually not too sweet. My husband had the meat entree and loved it. We had two desserts, I honestly can't remember the name of them, but I don't know that I have had desserts that were better before. The waitress, who is also the daughter of the cook, was so nice and helpful. We will, without a doubt, be returning here and likely to bring any of our visiting guest to enjoy this wonderful restaurant.

We finally got to experience this local establishment. To start we ordered a couple of apps, the hummus, and the olives. First, if you want the ground up, mashed up, paste that is usually served with a thin pita type of bread, you will be surprised. Hopefully it will be as pleasant a surprise as it was to us when before us was placed a bowl of whole chickpeas in some broth, and half a loaf of a round bread. The chickpeas however were soft and tender and the broth that they sat in was extremely flavorful. The LOML (Love Of My Life) said she could eat a bowl of just this and be happy. The olives were spicy, too spicy for her, but I enjoyed the picketed carrots and cauliflower that was also included with the briny olives. Saw some slices of lime also, but did not try those. For our entrees, she ordered a veggie terrine, which had carrots, peas, and potatoes in a tasty broth. Quite good, and not needing any meat in such a good meal. I meanwhile ordered a chicken pastille. Phyllo dough covering shredded chicken, and a mixture of crushed almonds and spices. All dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. It was listed as a house speciality, so over the misgivings of the LOML (chicken and sugar??) I ordered it anyway. As we waited the 25+ min it takes to prepare it, I mentioned that chicken and waffles are good, so maybe this would be also. When we finally got it, and I was able to cut off a piece of it for her, she agreed that it was really good and might get it next time. Going to the front to pay, we also got some of the different sweets, that were on display, to take home. We will be back in the future for a new Moroccan experience.

I visited Morocco 3 times, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find this place in San Antonio. We've been there twice already, and the smells are intoxicating—different spices and the lamb—they take me back to Morocco! There is a "reserved" area that is exactly like the one in that little restaurant in Morocco. Their pastry/dessert platters are homemade and decadent! I had a tagine with stewed lamb shanks, prunes & almonds. We make lamb shanks at home, so we are very familiar with the food. But this was even MORE exquisitely fragrant and mouth-watering!

This restaurant is super excellent. The food is outstanding. My wife had the Lamb Shank and I had the Lamb Meatballs! We both loved each and every bite!!! We had the house tea that was out of this world. The atmosphere is excellent and our waitress Sama was the best server I have experienced in quite some time. She is the total package! Request her when you visit this fabulous restaurant. We actually saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and made it a priority to visit upon our trip to Fort Sam Houston and the Center for the Intrepid (CFI) where they treat America's wounded warriors! Hooah! When in San Antonio, TX YOU must visit this restaurant!!!

I went there with around 15 friends and most of us had not experience of Moroccan Food..The food was amazing, I loved the white coffee.. Very very friendly service. I would love to go back again soon!!!!!!!

I am not sure how to include everything....this place is great! The service, the food, the decor... all incredible. I was taken there by my Sister and Brother in law who have been to Morocco and they mentioned over and over how true this was... you MUST go here!

Absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic (can't say enough about the chicken pastilla and the appetizer sampler), but the staff and owners are a jewel as well. Order a pot of tea, an appetizer and sit down for a lovely, lovely meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Truly out of this world and would highly recommend. Even got my 70+ mother to try it and she loves them. Our go to place to bring visiting family and friends. Thanks a million ladies!

I took my mom here because we love Arabic food. The cooks and waitresses are all family members and owners of the restaurant, very friendly and warm explaining the different foods there. They cook everything from scratch there because they must have everything Kosher. The interior is nicely designed in Moroccan style. The food is all good and the mint tea is wonderful. I highly suggest going!

Simply stated, the cruisine at Moroccan Bites Tagine is outstanding! While in San Antonio, having a moroccan bite should be on your agenda. The proprietor is one helluva chef, very friendly, and it is laid back for sure. One warning, save room for dessert. Her desserts are delicious.

I saw the restaurant on "Diners, Drive ins, and Dives" and decided to give it a try. We went as a large group so we tried quite a few lamb and chicken dishes. All were tasty. We loved every bite. Order a lamb dish when you are there and you will love it. We ordered a Baklava tray for dessert. This was the best that I have tasted. Perfectly flaky and not overly sweet. They cylinder shaped ones were the best. We enjoyed it so much that we got an order to go. We staff is friendly and makes tasty suggestions. You should definitely give Moroccan Bites a try. It's a wonderful restaurant

Moroccan Bites is a place that holds beauty and the food is splendid. This restaurant is a MUST try. The flavors of each dish that I have tried meld and marry together to form a perfect union creating the ultimate dish. The desserts are so good and popular that sometime sell out. The owners are attentive to the customers and explain the dishes in detail to allow you to know more about the type of foods they offer. So far, my husband and I have return over and over and will continue to do so. The time it takes to get your food is longer than a fast food restaurant, since all is prepared to perfection and from scratch and so well worth the wait. We love this place, the employees, the owners and the food is made with love and like no other.

What a gem of a place. Fantastic food, lovely people and great redesign. Bravo!

Had dinner there as a result of a random Google search while looking for halal food options in SA. 1) Location: The area has many halal restaurants and a halal supermarket just opposite. The restaurant itself is brightly lit. 2) Ambience: Nicely decorated and they had all their accolades and articles they were featured in on the wall. The place is famous! Some nice ethnic touches... 3) Menu: There was a good selection, including some vegetarian and kid-friendly options. 4) Service: I think there was only one server that evening, but there was only 2-3 other groups dining. She was friendly and made some recommendations. 5) TASTE: WOW, just WOW!! All the mains we ordered was so delicious! The meat was tender and well spiced. Rice soft and fluffy. Portions were moderate, you could share 3 entrees among 4 people but the food is so tasty you probably wouldnt want to share :) They have a wide spread of Moroccan and western desserts. The chocolate cake we had for dessert was dense and fudgy, a little too sweet for my taste. 6) Price: Dinner for 4 (starter + 4 mains + drinks + dessert) set us back $90. Pricey compared to the other middle eastern buffet Al-Bustan ($12/pax) but we left as satisfied customers, happy to get to experience this SA institution.

A friend in San Francisco who saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, told us about it. It was a delight! The food was fresh and delicious, and the decor is simple but fun. We tried the lamb shank tagine and shrimp tagine, with rice and Moroccan bread. The lamb was tender, with traditional sweet and savory seasonings, and the shrimp was tasty as well, followed by almond cake and baklava for dessert. We also had mint tea with our dinner, which was served in a beautiful teapot on a tray. The staff was friendly and helpful, answered any questions about the different dishes. We will definitely go back to try other dishes - SOON!

Loved it, had white coffee, very interesting and tasteful...4 of us my brother was visiting from out of town for my birthday. Everyone was very pleased with their choice...Atmosphere was peaceful and calm...staff very attentive and helpful with suggestions....I can't wait to go back for dinner!

The food was amazing but the service was a slow.We had to flag our waitress down whenever we needed anything. The food mote than made up for the service. I had the homemade sasuage sandwich and it is now one of my favorite things in SA. I will have it on every trip to SA.

I met a friend for lunch at noon on Wednesday. He had visited before and knew a little more than I did. He insisted we get some coffee and it was excellent! We shared the moroccan humus, which was delicious and new to me. The lamb and apricot tagine was very flavorful and the shank was cooked to perfection. The staff was very nice and friendly. We stayed for quite a while, and ended with dessert - if they have baklava cheesecake, it comes highly recommended. Amazing combo. I will keep this place in mind when I have a lamb craving.

I have to say the few times that I have had this cuisine I was not impressed this place actually impressed me. Will definitely visit again.

My sons and I visited this place because a friend gave recommended it, but we didn't like it. First of all, the place doesn't look clean at all and is small. The personelle weren't friendly when we entered, but at the end they were nice. It was the first time that had eaten this kind of food and now that we tried it. We think that it is tasty. The price is reasonable, but if you are waiting for something spectacular, let me tell you that it is not the place.

This is one of very few restaurants that embodies the true mom and pop spirit. The place was pretty busy when we walked in looked like a table of 15 , a few of 2 and a 4 with one lady serving. A second lady joined about half way in and it literally felt less like a restaurant and more like your Aunt was bringing dinner from the family kitchen. I can’t say enough about how warm an inviting everything is about this restaurant. In a world full of scripted service and boxed chain food I absolutely love restaurants like this. The food is an easy 5 absolutely superb great homemade flavorful Moroccan food. It’s funny my 2 favorite restaurants in San Antonio Moroccan Bites and Kabobland are literally right next to each other. Why can’t any of you build near 1604 and Potranco. Seriously, go out of your way to dine here it’s amazing. I recommend the Moroccan hummus and the mixed meat kabob plate. Thank You

Another Triple D stop on my tour. Had the moroccan sausage which was great and some type of dessert that was cake, fudge, caramel, vanilla creme, and almonds that was out of this world. Prices were fair and wait staff was very friendly.

We came 35 minutes before closing time (9:23pm) one evening and were told that the kitchen closes a half hour before closing (10pm) and were turned away. It does say so on the sign outside but not mentioned on Trip Advisor. Excited to eat here, as the reviews have been good and recommended from Diners Drive Ins and Dives (I'm a big fan) we m they brought everything out at the same time. Nothing was hot. Still we did not complain. The presentajtion was nothing like the photos on Trip Advisor. The flavors were good but the food was not exceptional. The cake we ordered for dessert was also somewhat stale. On top of everything our service was very poor. We had to go back in the kitchen to get someone to even bring us the bill. Sorry to say our first Moroccan food experience was not the best. Sorry to say I can't recommend Moroccan Bites and will not be back.

We went there for lunch there were no body just us, we were surprised coz it was empty... the food was average but the baklava was delicious....

Our guest visiting from overseas wanted to try a Moroccan restaurant in our area after having tried one in NYC. We were 2 hours away and needed to call to make sure we would not have to drive 4 hours round trip to find the place closed or not serving lunch. A woman answered and I asked if they were open for lunch. Her answer was: "I am on the phone, aren't I"? Not a good sign. After driving all the way across San Antonio, we found the place in a dilapidated strip mall. There was an employee smoking by the restaurant door. Once inside, we wanted to check the menu first to see if my guest could find dishes he would enjoy. The waitress walked over to us and asked abruptly: "For here or to go?" I told her that we did not know yet. She turned away in a huff. The waitress was not done yet. We sat down and she came over to take our order. My guest asked if the tajine with prunes was very sweet or medium. She snapped back that he should not order that. She said that folks like him, from the Gulf states should only order lamb and rice. My friend ordered the prunes tajine anyway. I asked about the traditional Moroccan dish, Couscous. She again snapped back that Couscous is only served on Friday. I suggested that in a restaurant, all dishes listed should be served. She was upset and argued about Moroccan tradition of only serving Couscous on Fridays. This is contrary to the the legendary Moroccan tradition of being extremely hospitable. Oh no, not these Moroccans. Then the topper, when the dishes finally arrived, the food amounts were small with very little meat on two huge shank bones which took most of the space of the miniature tajine dishes used to serve. Again, these geniuses somehow missed the traditional Moroccan generosity to guests. Needless to say we left hungry, insulted and ended up paying nearly double what we should have paid for a much better meal in any other restaurant. We later found out that the place had been visited by Guy, a host of some cable TV show about diners and dives. That still does not explain the rudeness of the waitress/co-owner. The only thing I can say about the place is: stay clear. The management and staff may need years of training. One last thing, I read in other reviews that they have the gall to rent parts of the restaurant furnished in Moroccan style (in addition to paying for the meals).

Like many others I flocked to this Mediocre Moroccan establishment because of the Diner and Dives Episode featured multiple times on the Food Network.... Guy has a history of saying food is great but I realize now that he has to say those things as to not hurt the chef's feelings.. I visited Moroccan Bites yesterday at the request of a friend and was greeted rudely upon entering the door. I did not know my party was already seated and when the hostess approached me she gruffly asked me if she could help me and when I said I was waiting on my party she turned away without another word. My party waved me over and I sat down to browse the menu. The waitress approached and was very rude when she took the orders .. I asked for the Sunday special of Rotisserie chicken and rice and she gruffly replied we're out of the Special .. I was like how can you be out of the special when it's 1300 and you opened at 1200. She said you can have the other chicken and rice which surprisingly cost more than the Sunday special. I then asked for the Chicken Bites and she said that its going to take 25 mins but so is everyone else's food so you can order it if you like. I wanted to try it as I knew I'd not be returning any time soon and also grabbed two mini macaroons at a stiff price of $2.99. (Get them from Bakery Lorraine *Better Price and quantity) .. The food was decent but not worth the $27 I forked over and I can't say it was the best I've had with the military travels I've had around the world. I didn't feel welcome by the hostess and as I was paying the cashier said we've already added the 18% tip in... One reason I hate going to places with groups ..it allows restaurants to take a tip even with mediocre service... Will not be returning to this Mediocre place again.. Ms. Foodie

My wife and I visited for the first time last evening and we Loved it! Delicious and for us, different food and drink. We started with their hummus which consisted of whole chick peas in broth — different than what we were expecting but delicious with their bread. The bread is a little extra but well worth it. It reminded us of bread we’d enjoyed in Egypt. The tagines were delicious my wife had lamb which she loved and I had the chicken which was great as well. The rice which accompanied the dishes was perfect, fragrant and delicious. Overall it was an excellent experience, clean, pleasant, and welcoming almost like enjoying a home cooked meal in Morocco. The service was also very friendly, and the baked goodies were very tempting. We loved it and we’ll be back.

My husband and I lived in Agadir, Morocco, for two years in the early 2000s and enjoyed its people and food. While in San Antonio we picked Moroccan Bites out of an array of Middle Eastern cuisine restaurants partly on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. It lived up to its reputation deliciously. From the first taste of harrira soup to the last sip of sweet, minty tea, we were transported to our favorite eateries in Morocco. The lamb shank with prunes and almonds was succulent and tender, the kefta tagine an all-time favorite with tiny meatballs and a nicely cooked egg on top, and the traditional cous cous served on Friday with lamb made it hard not to kiss the chef. Sadly, we were an hour too early for mashoui, so indulged in a yummy carrot and beet appetizer and a plate of olives. The woman who served us was a bit abrupt in manner but did a good job of serving. As we finished our tea and thought about leaving, she was gone and the woman who helped us select traditional Moroccan cookes to take with us and brought our bill was very friendly and chatty. Turns out this family lives in Agadir and mama Haja Latifa was on her way back to Texas from a buying trip to Agadir. Definitely authentic. Definitely worth a return visit.

I had the luck to eat at this place during my visit to San Antonio Texas. The food was amazing and you can tell that the ladies cook it with love. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for Moroccan or Middle East food specialties.

Step out of your car in Texas, then step through the door of this cafe and into Morocco. The decor, the service and most especially the food will take you there. The dishes are expertly prepared, beautifully plated and presented, well seasoned, delicious, and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this dining adventure. Happy trails.

Well, this was my first time having Moroccan food, and I will say it will definitely not be my last. Some friends invited me to dinner there and it was a feast for sure. We had three different tangines..chicken, lamb, and kafta. All three were good, but the lamb and the kafka were great! We had one of the appetizers called a chicken bite. It was like a pillow of pastry dough with this amazing filling of chicken and spices and vegetables (I think) then topped with a creamy sauce. It takes 20 minutes to prepare, but it was delicious and worth the wait. The mint tea was tasty as well. We finished the evening with some various baklava like desserts. What a great ending to the meal. I also tried their Harissa soup...now this soup was so tasty, and it would be the perfect soup for a killing a cold, too. MMMM. The food is very reasonable and the restaurant is run by a very pleasant and talented family. I will definitely be back on a regular basis. Guy Fieri was there for his show a few months ago, too, and ate every single bite!

We had planned a family dinner at another restaurant, but a sign on the door said "closed for a special event." So off we went to nearby Moroccan Bites and were delighted with the food and service. The server didn't hover by any means, but it was fine to have an uninterrupted, delightful meal. Sadly, they were out of their house specialty pastilla, but no one at the table was disappointed. Savory lamb shank, perfectly grilled meats, crisp fresh breads to mop up the sauces, and delicate veggies. Note: this lovely place will be closed for the month of June while its family returns home to, well, Morocco, I assume. Come back soon!

Saw a review of this restaurant on local television station so we decided to try it for ourselves. We started with the hummus and Moroccan bread and found it to be very tasty. The lamb Kebab was tender and delicious. The Lamb shank served over rice and vegetables was cooked to perfection. All the desserts we tried were indescribably delicious. Excellent food and a great experience well worth a visit

Morrocan by decor yes, authentic hmmmm debatable. We didn't find this four star worth so only three stars from us. Hummus was very strange, more like DIY hummus cause they give you boiled spiced chickpeas, never ever had hummus this style. Also this is the first time that we had to order the bread separately to eat with the hummus, didn't know you are supposed to eat hummus on its own. Chicken tagine is very average and the chicken and veggies are not even cooked in the tagine, it's more SERVED in a tagine. Chicken lacked the flavors. Overall think it's more hyped cause it was featured on food network. Nothing that one has to drive out of your way to eat here.

The service was good and the food was excellent! I have enjoyed "morroccan" previously bur the family atmosphere and the warmth of a morroccan home prevails here. The Location is easy to reach but the resturant outshines the location. We had traveled far and my wife and I wanted something special. The wife was not as daring and went for the chicken kabob with lentils and rice. I tried a meat combination with the same side dish and we ordered coffe and baklava for desert at the same time. Service was seamless and food was simply presented with no bells and whistles. The food was excellent and satisfied my palate. Meats were well marinaded and the lamb was served properly with a touch of pink. I knew the desert would be worth it and it was. Just enough to fullfill the delight of the meal. Coffee was moroccan and is an acquired taste so try it. There is Moroccan tea available as well. As a side note I love to prepare a variety of dishes and could not place the seasonings used in the lentils. Staff with pride was happy to enlighten me and when I enquired as to the source of the saffron. I was given a cherished treat so now at home I hope I can come close to their dish. A REWARDING experience of which I will gladly partake again on my next trip. Moderate pricing for a home cooked Moroccan meal.

best food in town family owned and operated great service, best moroccan food in texas period do not forget to ask for the Moroccan tea its ti die for did i mention the dessert a variety of patisserie ohhhhhhhhhhh my god so goood everything is fresh and made the same day so be patient you won"t regret

We have tried various dishes on numerous visits favorite is couscous with lamb sells out everytime so go early husband loves mashoui lamb also sells out wonderful baklava friendly owners need more waitstaff

The SEAFOOD pastilla was good but that was it. I got the Zaalouk as an appetizer but it was gross: It was tasting old and disgusting. It loooked liked it has been cooked several days earlier...The chicken tajine was edible but nothing special. It has too much sauce. I'm from Morocco and I know how the moroccan food should taste. But All I can tell is that this place does not offer Fresh food. The first bite you put in you mouth ,you will feel that something is wrong with the food. I had to return the zaalouk dish to them . The lady was not kind and disappointed. I have not received any apologies about it. The food just didn't taste fresh. That is the only way to explain it. If you are planning to get sick , go ahead and enjoy the gross food at Moroccan bites. Also, check their restroom ,it's disgusting! hey moroccan bites : if you offer a long big menu , you should be able to offer to your customers fresh food and acceptable portion, not only gravy sauce in the sauce. Your menu card is too much . How can you prepare everything you have on your menu everyday with only 2 chefs in the kitchen???? impossible right??! don't rip your customers because they don't know the moroccan cuisine. I do not recommend you. the food was not fresh at all.

Tremendously disappointing experience for first-time customers! Not told about extra cost for bread...did not prepare dish as requested with white meat chicken...Waitress left restaurant never checking to see if our food was satisfactory! Our food was served by someone else who never bothered to come by table and ask if everything was satisfactory. Lamb loaded with fat and served with packaged apricots, not fresh as described. Chicken Tagine was dark meat not white as ordered and inedible...vegetables fibrous and hard. We were never spoken to again, never served additional water. When we asked for the bill, we were told to come up front to pay and never saw any bill. We were told what our totals were (very expensive)...and on and on it goes. Been there twice...first and last!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've visited this restaurant a few times and loved their food. The atmosphere is very clean, and tastefully decorated, and the staff is friendly. The hummus and eggplant dishes are among my favorite items on the menu and have us coming back for more. Good vegetarian options are available for those so inclined and an easy place to take Children. Try the tea and Turkish coffee...both are excellent. The restaurant is located in a strip-mall that looks a bit abandoned after dark but persevere and try this Moroccan gem.

One of our places to visit. We ordered the chicken pastilla and it was delicious as always. I tried the fish sandwich the bread was lite with a nice crunchy texture. The fish was very good with no grease aftertaste. The soup was a good choice as the appetizer. We return soon.

Our party of 3 visitors from Austin had a very late lunch. My second meal there in 2 years. An expanded menu of delicious, unpretentious, homestyle dishes. The zaalouk (eggplant) appetizer, lamb shank tagine, and mint tea were all excellent. The veggie tagine was OK, but lacked something. Now to the pastries: the baklava is perhaps the best I've tasted in this country, not soaked in honey as is too often the case, nicely flavored with pistachios or walnuts. The pastry revelation was the mabrouma, exquisite. The waitpersons are brisk and businesslike, a bit curt, but the matriarch-chef of the place is a delight, at least when addressed and complimented in French. They are due to open a next-door pastry salon de thé soon. I shall definitely return there whenever the occasion presents itself.

We happened to visit this place on the weekend DDD's was rerunning the original episode. The place was swamped with customers and was in survival mode. Fortunately we arrived early. Had a pleasant meal and got out before it became too crazy. The hummus is outstanding and highly recommended. I would like to return under more normal circumstances. The staff was very busy but still remained helpful and attentive. It's difficult not to over indulge but save room for the home made desserts.

Okay, no one can truly rate this place high enough. You just, no must try it for yourself. For a real treat call ahead and order the lamb. It takes about an hour to prepare but worth it. They have never failed my taste buds.

I saw some recent reviews and felt compelled to support the restaurant. We’ve been going to Moroccan Bites for years now and we have never been disappointed with food or service. The lamb with vegetables is my favorite. And the tea is a must-have.

Truly home-cooked Moroccan cuisine. It is not very often that I find outstanding Moroccan cuisine in the US. This place stands out. The place is run by a Moroccan lady, Nadia, and her mom. These are the only two who cook the dishes, as well as all the available desserts. The food is delicious, the price very reasonable, the service was quick and getting to talk to the chef owner about how she takes care of the place and cooks was a treat. The lady is fluent in 5 languages and very well read. What would I recommend? The egg plant appetizer was great but Lamb Tagine with prunes was to die for. The lamb and chicken kabab were very good too but Tagine is what I will definitely go back for. And my God, the desserts were truly awesome. Had a great dinner. Two thumbs up.

we went here on a family visit, the owner (lady) greeted us with a friendly smile and explained the menu in both Moroccan and English. the appetizers especially the Harira were excellent as well as the main entrees. I got the chicken tagine and it was great, I didn't care very much for the bread. my wife got the chicken couscous and she really enjoyed it. the lamb was very tasty. the Moroccan tea was also great. we will definitely come back and eat there.
Wonderful!
The food and service was excellent. Definitely not small portions. They checked everyone for COVID screening
