The food was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's a good place to host a private event. However, I would not drive in to downtown for this restaurant. If you are in the downtown area and need to host a private event, consider this place. If you are looking for great steak, there are less expensive options likely in your neighborhood.

Ordered rib-eye medium-well, got burnt and well-done rib-eye. Manager insisted that what was clearly a well-done steak (not a trace of pink) was, in their understanding, medium-well. Anyway, I returned it, and the second one was fine. Prices were excessive for what was delivered.

Good steaks. Professional and friendly staff. The place was very crowed and noisy. Not ideal to go for a date or a business dinner. Very expensive.

The food, service, and staff was all amazing.... Even though the fire alarm went off twice, sprinklers flooded a middle room, and we evacuated the room (all while the Heimlich was performed too). Story of multiple thousand doctor conference... My steak was "chilled" after all this, but was still delicious and cooked properly. The wait staff also tended to me individually 3 times while speakers were going on. I would attend here again in a heart beat!

A wonderful and elegant place to dine in Downtown Atlanta. The food is delicious and the service was superb.

Morton's is a fine dining eatery which excels in steaks, but it's additional food is also delicious. I had the steak with shrimp add-ons with multiple sides (we shared) and everything was top notch. It was a lot of food. You will not leave hungry, by any means. Nice atmosphere and the service was impeccable.

I came back here after 2 years. Still good and energetic. I had a rack of lamb. It was perfect. Nice smoky flavor lamb. Everyone will enjoy the food here.

Nice restaurant with great service and food. Can never go wrong with Morton's. Steaks always very tasty. Great dessert.

They burned my wagyu filet out!!! The taste in my tong was like coal. I returned it. I am back and will ask for it again. They deserve a second chance.

My husband and I dined at a Landry restaurant in Pittsburgh. We were impressed, and signed up for the Landry’s Select Club. For my birthday, a $25 Reward arrived among my emails. That decided where we would celebrate my birthday, and it did not disappoint. Morton’s Steakhouse is located in downtown Atlanta. The decor is attractive. The table was festively decorated with confetti, and at the top of the menu were wishes for a Happy Birthday. Maurice, the Server, was impressive. He exemplified excellence in customer service. He had an extraordinary command of the menu, and shared that information in a conversational manner. All of his recommendations were wonderful. My husband began the meal with Grilled Oysters, and it was a perfect beginning. We also recommend the Iceberg Lettuce Salad (the 1000 Island Dressing distinguished itself), the Filet Mignon (perfectly prepared), the Hash Browns, and Key Lime Pie. A dessert is complimentary for a birthday or anniversary , arriving with a candle, and accompanied by Maurice’s melodious voice bringing back memories of Motown. The perfect ending to the meal was a Birthday card with a photo of us taken by the Hostess! Morton’s does food, dining and celebrations well. Disappointing: The music. It was nondescript and more sound (bumpty bump) than music. Thinking music from the Great American Songbook (Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Nat King Cole) or Jazz would be more suitable. Recommendation: If noise interferes with hearing, recommend requesting seating in a quiet area, away from the entrance to the kitchen, and away from the servers.

Our company took a customer to dinner. There were 10 of us total. The food was all excellent. I wish I would have known all sides were large enough to share. Plenty of food to go around.

We arrived at 6:00 for a 6:30 reservation expecting to go to the bar for a drink. However, there were tables available and we were seated immediately. The waiter was very helpful and friendly, made suggestions, and was very attentive. The Waygu meatball appetizer was delicious, the round loaf of onion bread was also fantastic. I ordered the 12 oz filet with bordelaise butter and creamed corn as a side. My partner ordered the 8 oz filet Oscar (with crab meat) and onion rings. The filets were probably the best steaks we have ever had. The creamed corn soufflé was spicy, cheesy and delicious. The onion rings were crispy, well seasoned, and delicious as well. The sides were plenty large enough to share for both of us. We ordered one molten chocolate cake and ice cream to share and it was excellent also. Rich dark chocolate and not too sweet. We will definitely return the next time we are in Atlanta on business again.

Me and my wife went here for our anniversary. They went out of their way with decorating our table, having a special menu stating Happy Anniversary and numerous employees congratulating us. Both had filets, they were great, sweet corn and baked potato was very good too. Bread pudding for dessert was also great and a large portion as well!

waiter seemed from 1960 and unsophisticated in cosmopolitan setting. Hostess was bright and welcoming and helped at the tables when short handed. Food was wonderful! Everything I put in my mouth made me want to dance like a little kid. Lobster bisque, chilled platter, creamed spinach, crème brulee. I will go again. oh yes

Excellent service, excellent food, they even catered to the 2 little kids we brought along. Morton’s never disappoints and this location was wonderful as well.

I love Morton's! They stick to a high standard when talking about the food they serve. The service is also awesome and they are always into making great suggestions if you are not quite sure what you'd like to eat. Prices are a little high but it does worth every cent.

Definitely a place to be seen. The food was ok. Almost lost hungriness because time between courses was so long. Water attendees were great keeping glasses fun. Group had a nice dinner.

Our belated Valentine's meal was spent at Morton's. We enjoyed raw oysters for an appetizer, the seafood and steak combo, and berries and creme & creme brulee for dessert. The steak, as always was on point...I like mine rare, and they got it right. Our server (I think his name was Yadi) was very skilled and took great care of us. The only problem we had was getting there and finding parking, since Atlanta traffic is so terrible.

The meal was tops the service was way beyond expectation. It is expensive but worth the price for those occasions when you want special.

I've had dinner at a few Morton's throughout the country, and this one, like the others, was excellent. Order the Chocolate Souffle when you place your dinner order - it's rare to find a restaurant that offers this dessert and it is so good.....you will love it. I ordered the prime ribeye with the truffle butter sauce. Always delicious. Try the horseradish mashed, or if it's on the menu, the pureed cauliflower with truffles....OMG. Melts in your mouth and one served easily can be shared by two or more. Morton's never disappoints, and is always at the top of my list for a great steak and great experience.

Our group had a good meal, but steaks were expensive with only average quality. My ribeye was ordered medium plus and came out medium rare, and several others had similar experience. Key lime pie was good, but not as tart as key lime should've been. For the price paid I expected better.

Delicious food (Filet Mignon, and Salmon entrees with enormous baked potato and exquisite Chocolate Mousse for dessert), outstanding service and an elegant dining experience. Things feel different with social distancing but Morton's goes out of its way to make your experience enjoyable and rewarding. The service was unobtrusive when needed but friendly and helpful when appropriate. Adam, our waiter, was outstanding and made good recommendations. The steak was so flavorful and among the best I've had. The salmon that my wife had (she gave me a taste) was also great. The chocolate mousse dessert was rich and the perfect end to the meal.

Service and food quality were excellent..Morton’s is the original upscale chain steakhouse that lives up to its billing...

Great steaks, great food, but expensive !!! I think a bit overpriced place, but the food is very good. Service can be improved. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress asked me specifically if we want one bottle or 2 bottles, since we were 9 people. I said only 7 persons are drinking, but since non of us is a big drinker, one bottle is fine and we will share it. She came wit the bottle of wine and before we understood what is happening, she filled a lot of wine to only 4 glasses, and then asked me if I want to order another one, since it is not enough... I said no, and we pored from one glass to another, so that everyone will have some wine. But that trick she did, I assume since she wanted to expend the sales and get more tip, just did the opposite : we gave less tip, and we did not give any tip on the wine. Apart of that, food was very good, but overpriced. One backed potato is $18 before taxes...

I would like to say great job. My wife and I have our anniversary one day before Valentines. We had reservations at another restaurant in the area that did not work out at all. Morton's stepped up with our last minute change of plans. The food was excellent and so was the service. I would like to express our thanks for an unforgettable evening. Job well done

The steak was amazing and side dishes so yummy. I had a 6 oz filet Mignon and bacon wrapped scallops. The meat was seasoned so well that you didn’t even need any sauce. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Delicious. Wish they cut up the lobster into smaller pieces so it was mixed with the cheese better. Wine selections also good. Had the Decoy Cabernet.

The steaks were excellent, the combination of steak, shrimp and scallops were all excellent. The service and attention to detail was excellent. The atmosphere at Morton’s was busy but relaxing. The wine selection is quite good. Great restaurant but a little pricey but comparable to the other good steak houses in Atlanta.

We visited on New Year's Eve and had a great experience. The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 star review was due to the very small chilled seafood platter we paid $130 for. It only came with 4 shrimp and 4 crab legs, along with a few oysters. A bit lacking for that price! The Wagyu steak is an absolute MUST, though! Best in ATL.

We had a choice of 3 salads, 3 entrees, 2 sides and 2 desserts. My filet was almost 'melt in your mouth' category. The salmon also looked delicious. No one at my table ordered the pork chop, but we all agreed it was very tempting. Staff was very friendly and the service was excellent.

Lousy food and service. I understand it was busy but it took 2 hours to get our dinner. When we got it it was over done - that said the bill was $107 - this is totally unacceptable for Mortons. Someone needs to look at this restaurant and fix the problems.

The food was very good. The staff overall was friendly. We came for my wife’s birthday as a party of 4 and we were there for 3 hours. This was completely unacceptable to me. Other tables around us were not there that long either. We dine in nice restaurants often and unfortunately I feel like we were profiled by our waiter. Other waiters were very attentive and engaging as waiters should be (I was one before as well), and ours simply was not at all. We would go 20-25 minutes without any check in, never once asked us how our food was, and literally came with the desert menu stated they are all homemade and walked away. We look young and I am heavily tattooed, however I expect to get the same service as anyone else. We also tip very well because my wife and I both worked in the service industry. Unfortunately I feel like the older gentleman completely ignored us and as much as I like Morton’s, I will absolutely not be going back to this one.

we went to Morton's for my wife's birthday dinner and also because we still are on our honeymoon. We decided to split the porterhouse steak and a side of creamed spinach. It was the very best steak EVER!! grilled to perfection and it was almost melting on your tongue. Wow! Our server Mac was great; very informative and accomodating. We liked the atmosphere (reservation made for Saturday 8pm, so not too crowded), staff, and of course, the food. The manager came out and offered us desert on the house (a chocolate soufflé), which also was the very best chocolate soufflé ever!).

Great steaks as usual. Amazing apps and sides. Excellent service on a very crowded night after the SEC championship game. Server recommended items we probably would not have ordered. I am not a brussel sprouts person but they were very good.

Wife and I had dinner with friends. Usual tough ATLANTA traffic but kept our table for us. Kyle is a very good server. Drinks were super. Steaks, sides and desserts were very good. Place was busy with business people but food came out timely. All the staff were great.

I take all of my daughters on Daddy / Daughter trips and as part of that we indulge on a fancy dinner night. We wanted somewhere close to our hotel so we picked Morton's, as I have never been, and what a great choice that turned out to be. The food was delicious, I've had my share of steaks and our filets were cooked perfect and a great, no-frills tasting steak, I also had the lobster and 1/2 dozen oysters, all tasty. We got the warm chocolate cake dessert and wow, very good! But the night was made perfect by the service, our waitress and service staff was attentive, and Eric the manager made my 10-year old daughter feel so special as she told him we were there to go see the John Mayer concert and he went and printed a special menu for her that read "Morton's & John Mayer Atlanta 2023" as a keepsake that she loved! As the night closed, it started to pour rain outside and he even walked us under umbrella to meet our Uber ride. Overall it was a perfect evening for us, and the food and the friendly people represented the Morton's brand very well. Thank you from Kyle & Lucy!

This was the second year me and my wife celebrated our Anniversary at Morton's. The service is hands down, one of the best in town. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is always prefect. I don't think we're going to wait another year before going back. Thanks Morton's Crew!

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves on the last night of our holiday. We knew it would be a little more expensive than we’d usually pay but decided to splash out :) We had French onion soup (very nice depth of flavour) followed by 8 oz filet mignons ($54) and had to pay separately for all sauces and sides. Our server mixed up the steaks although my husband didn’t realise and my steak arrived over-cooked, and ridiculously salty. The staff were understanding and readily offered to prepare another medium rare, less salty filet. Alas, when the second arrived it was, again, so salty I couldn’t taste the ($54) steak. The sauce, too, was unbearably salty. I didn’t feel able to complain any more (possibly because I’m British) but was gutted that we’d paid double what we’d normally pay for the worst meal of our trip. Trying not to let it get us down before we fly home!

Wonderful dinner! We sat at the bar and enjoyed friendly service and a great meal. The bacon wrapped scallops were terrific as were the steak, lobster bisque, and their bread. A bit pricey, but we would go back.

Walking distance from our hotel. Called at last minute for a table when Open Table showed no availability and they got us right in. Wish I could remember waitress' name because she was right on top of everything we needed, right down to replacing the used silverware before the next course---often neglected in some places. The steaks were cooked to perfection including mine ordered as "Pittsburgh" rare. Sides were all perfect as was the strawberry/rhubarb crisp with vanilla ice cream.,I am often disappointed by the typical high end steakhouse. Not this time.

We returned to Morton's to celebrate our anniversary after being there 4 years ago for the same event. We had another happy memorable dinner with delicious food, excellent service, and 'star' treatment that made us feel truly special. When they know you are making this an event, they really up their game to make it special. Yes it is on the pricey side but it was worth it.

My husband and I ate here because we have always enjoyed Morton's. His steak was good but mine a little over cooked and cover with aujus so the flavor was not there. Service was good.

A nice evening spent in Morton’s. The bar I think could be a little more lavish or have a facelift. The menu and standard was good. The steak was cooked to perfection. The service was good also. Will definitely revisit.

In Atlanta for the Peach Bowl. Dinner reservations on New Years at Morton's. The bar tender and hostess were both great. But. It's Morton's. Food should be excellent. It was not. the chopped salad seemed as though it had been sitting, dressed for hours. Potatoes were barely warm and the Filet was dry and tasteless. Yes. I could have sent it all back, but I didn't. Never know what will come out. Normally don't go out on New Year's but they were not busy. My advice. Don't bother.

Another great member of the Morton's chain delivering high quality steak cooked to perfection for every discerning palates.

We had dinner here on New Years to celebrate the holiday and ring in the holiday in style. While the restaurant had good service and we were seated quickly, there was not much going on there for the holiday. It was as if we were attending on any other night. Our waiter recommended a few sides to go alongside with our meat entrees. The cauliflower dish was the star of the evening and was so tasty. Around midnight, the staff did bring out some items to hand out in preparation for midnight. However, that was the extent to which we celebrated the holiday.

excellent mea. A steakhouse t in the true anglosaxon style. excellent the filet mignon and the backed potatos. very nice personnel , a very well kept ambience. The restaurant is close to the main hotels

We like Mortons for national reputation and quality but chose this steakhouse due to walking distance from our Marriott Marquis hotel. Food was excellent (salads, steak, side dishes). Drinks were strong. Came early to grab few drink in bar before our reservations. Bar holds about 10 at the bar. High tops also. The restaurant had a lot of tables and patio seating. Our table was next to the window so fun people watching on the street. Great food, service was good. Nothing spectacular but good. We would return.

I am really lucky as my colleagues treat at the end of a trade show is ALWAYS a trip to Morton's. Now I have to say the porterhouse I had in Atlanta was not the best I have had at a Morton's, but that is like saying one Picasso s better than another. Incredible food, incredible service - monumentally expensive - but I did not have to pay the bill. If you you can afford it go to Mortons!

Be very careful. I had to send my meal back. I asked for unseasoned dud to allergies and got a very "Cajun" seasoned steak. Nice iob. Not.

Steak is probably my favorite meal of all time and I love nothing more than a flavorful, properly cooked bone-in rib eye! Been to many of America's fine steakhouses and decided to give Morton's location in Downtown Atlanta near the Merchandise Mart and Hotel district a try to celebrate a friend's birthday. Made a reservation conveniently using the Open Table mobile app and was promptly seated on arrival. Restaurant confirmed the reservation via text message the day of which was nice. Since I had advised it was a birthday, we were seated at a table that I believe was for someone else - it had hearts on the table and the menus said 'Happy Anniversary'. Thanks?? HA. Regardless, it was a nice touch. Bar service was a little slow to start after arrival even though the restaurant wasn't busy. As the restaurant got busier in the evening, the bar and table service got even slower. Appetizers of Tuna Tower and Bacon Wrapped Scallops were both delicious and flavorful. Bone-in rib eye steak ordered Medium Rare was well done in places and 'medium' throughout. Not a lot of flavor for a prime steak and a good amount of sinew that required multiple uses of the steak knife. My dining partner enjoyed the mixed grill with filet, shrimp and scallops. Filet was over cooked, ordered medium, arrived well done. :-( Shrimp were also overcooked to the point of being very firm. Sides were generous and as expected. Complimentary red velvet cake dessert for the birthday guest was both very good and appreciated. Summary: I could have easily cooked this meal at home and done better. Nothing spectacular. If I'm going to go to a fine steakhouse for dinner and drop $125-$150 per person, I expect to be wowed. Overcooked prime steaks? Average service? Not a prime steakhouse experience! I also wasn't a fan of the atmosphere - black interior throughout. Servers aren't full of energy and excitement. Lots of one-time hotel and convention business at this location so I assume no worries about not keeping loyal, local guests.

I did not expect this Morton's to be just ok. Maybe they were shorthanded, maybe, but service was slow and erratic. Food preparations were just ok. Did not feel any sense of fine dining here. Steak, a bone in prime fillet was just average, no wow when you take that first bite. Salads also just average. Had a birthday that night, but no nothing from the restaurant.

Excellent service, delicious steak and martinis and good as sweet lemonade. A tad overpriced but Morton's is one of our favorite chains.

I was excited to experience Morton’s as it’s been deemed one of the best steakhouse restaurants. Because of the event being work related, our menu for entrees was cut down to three choices. I chose the Christopher Chicken, sigh. It was missing mostly sauce as it was underneath my second piece of chicken and not enough to cover both thin slices. I just squeezed the lemon from my plate over the chicken to give it a better taste until I “found” the sauce. The mashed potatoes were awesome and the broccoli was ok. I’m assuming most people come here for the steak (I do not eat beef) and the atmosphere of being in downtown Atlanta. For me this was a miss. Maybe I’ll go back to look at the full menu and try again to have a better review.

My family and I were not that thrilled with Mortons. It was the only Steakhouse with an open table on a Thursday night. All other restaurants were booked. I called at lease 10 from the list of best steakhouses in Atlanta. Our server was not that great. He told us he will be back within bread three times. No bread. I then stared to ask for the bread. Asked twice. Finally got it. Drinks were good, but overpriced. Server told a family member that he would come back with some GF info. Never did. She also ordered tea for dessert, then was told that there was no tea left. The salads were huge! Definitely share. The sides were garbage. We had the Parmesan truffle fries, no flavor. Steak and Shake fries are better. The filets were prepared great. And tasted wonderful. The other two steaks, ribeye and peppercorn were nothing special. We will not return due to poor service and sides.

This chain was not known to me. Earlier in the day I had sat across the street with a coffee and thought that Morton's was an office! The food, attendance at table and the staff performed well.

Our waiter, Calvin was very attentive and kind. He gave honest reviews of items we were curious about. Our meal from start to finish was wonderful. I would definitely return.

The steak was good but very pricey. I would have thought if you are paying over $150 for a meal, the ambiance should match that. Perhaps it was just the weekend we went there.

The steak is very good but the wayu’s filet mignon is amazing. They’ve a great cellar but don’t know to serve the wine, the temperature is more important.

We chose this venue based on proximity and the reviews. We had to select 4 different wines before they actually were able to produce one. Each one required a trip to realize they did not have something that was on their list. This was followed by fairly slow service that started with the server spilling molten hot soup on one of our party after which they never even apologized. The salads did come out all at once. The meal came out in a disjointed fashion. One side dish landed followed by a lull, then our steaks another lull and later the other two sides. I would have counted on a restaurant called "Steakhouse" being capable of nailing the cooking of your steak to what you ordered. Only 10% of my steak was cooked perfectly and the rest was over cooked. Getting back to the soup incident, the manager did come over and offer to pay for cleaning and offered to comp some deserts for the table which was a fair remedy except when the bill showed up, not only were all the deserts charged out, but also the first three bottles of wine that they did not even have or serve us were on the bill and to make things worse still, five steaks when our table was only four people. We called over the manager who took the bill back and when it came back the second time, it was still wrong and took a third trip to get it right. After all that he never apologized and even seemed disgruntled that we even complained. The server appeared to be trying to get things back on track, but it just never came together. The atmosphere was nice and the food not in keeping with my expectations of a restaurant of this caliber. The deserts were well done and the presentation excellent. In fairness to this location, and based on other reviews, I would like to think this performance and our experience was a rare exception.

one has high expectations from a high end steakhouse, was our 1st time @ Morton's and definitely met expectations , great steak, my wife had salmon and we both enjoyed immensely. service just as good as the food

I have been to this restaurant on 3 separate occasions and every time was as good as the time before. It is very dimly lit inside but bar seating is available and has great lighting. You MUST have the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip it is amazingly delicious. I have had the crab cake BLT before as well and that is great but can be a little fishy. Overall great experience. I would recommend everyone to try here before you leave town.

They handled our group of 20 and never missed a beat. Food was absolutely delicious, scallop appetizer was amazing and the tenderloin was able to be cut with a fork.

I was expecting a lot from Morton's. Their reputation is that they are a fine dining steakhouse. I did not find them to be that way. The service was very good, no complains there. The food was challenging. The truffle deviled eggs were not eatable. The raw oysters were terrible. I have never left an oyster on my plate. I only ate 3 of the 12. The lettuce on my salad was all iceberg and it tasted old. My ribeye steak was okay, but I expected more than okay from Morton's. If I had not been at a business function, I would have sent everything back. I do not recommend.

Typical Morton's which means the food and service were outstanding and the price was way up there. Dinner with one drink and a glass of wine (12 oz filet) with tax and tip was $118. Having said that, it was the best beef I'd had in quite a while and it was perfectly prepared. Always a pleasure to go there.

Morton's The Steakhouse on Peachtree Center Avenue in Atlanta is a great place for all things steaks, sides, and desserts. This location does everything really well and is definitely worth it for an excellent dining experience. The staff here really goes all out to make sure that you are well taken care of and have everything that you need. It is good to have a place that you know will be good each time.

There for a dinner party we have annually, excellent food and service was impeccable. Hand served appetizers were very good and the service was great!

We came on restaurant week which was a great way to try the wonderful food. The staff were amazing, beautiful decor and amazing food. I started off with the 5 onion soup.....then filet and potatoes....and finished the meal with creme brulee....... wonderful wine list also. It was an amazing experience. If you want a really good meal and have the $ to spend.... add this to your list

Morton’s: Great in almost every city, except Sad Atlanta. When you going to the same restaurant a lot when traveling, there are certain items you order over and over. One for me is the chopped salad. Morton’s, in any other city, gives you a beautiful plate with piles of chopped tomatoes in one corner, hard boiled egg chopped nicely in another, lots of chopped bacon in you guessed it: another corner, and crumbled High quality blue cheese in another. Somewhere along the side they put a pile of chopped cucumber, and then a couple slices of avocado. It’s delicious with added sliced tenderloin or grilled chicken. It’s delicious alone. But not in Hotlanta ha! Expect the sloppiest salad you’ve ever seen with hardly any of the included ingredients. Look on Uber eats to see the reviews for this salad in atlanta and you’ll see it’s how they normally make it. Embarrassing for Morton’s. Zero effort or pride in presentation in Morton’s. Atlanta. Perhaps if enough people complain they will figure out how to earn their name. The onion loaf is always delicious too, and served with butter. In atlanta: expect stale bread and of course it’s a 50/50 at best if you can expect butter. The Meatballs are to die for in every city! Seriously they are mostly meat and just wonderful. In Atlanta, however, the chef drizzles some green (pesto? ) sauce sloppily on and lots of garlic. Doesn’t Morton’s have a recipe they follow everywhere? Who is the chef in Atlanta creating such subpar food?! I could go on and on here, about the scallops, the filet, but you get my point already. Quality control needed. Shape up and make Morton’s level food Atlanta.

This place blew my mind! From the moment me and my family walked in we were greeted by the host with the biggest smile ever. The manager Ana walked us to our table, pulling the table out for us! Wow!!! Everything was amazingly delicious! Ana recommended us a great wine and I couldn’t thank her enough for the staff she has, the food and her friendliness! Another male manager checked on us when we got our entrees as well, very pleasant young man. The server was amazing, kitchen did a great job on our food ( steak melting in your mouth) and the deserts were fabulous! Awesome place and we will be back!

The host was friendly and we were seated quickly. The ambiance was what you’d expect, cozy and sophisticated. Our server was exceptional and the meal was cooked perfectly. We had the tuna tower, filet mignon (medium), sour cream mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and chocolate dessert, everything was amazing!

Went here for a Christmas dinner with my wife in December 2015. The wait time to be seated was around 5-7 min (it wasn't crowded on a Thursday night) and the hostess was very friendly. The waiter was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were trusted. We ordered a wedge salad (literally almost half of a head of iceberg lettuce) to start. My wife ordered the surf and turf and I ordered the salmon. From previous Yelp reviews I was sceptical about what to order but to my surprise everything was great. We didn't have enough room in our stomachs for dessert but I WILL BE getting the bread pudding upon my return. I must say that it can be a little costly (ended up spending about $120 after tip even with a $25 coupon). The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because of the pushiness of the waiter attempting to get us to enroll into their rewards program. Other than that great experience.

As always the beef is of excellent quality and perfecty cooked. Only disappointment was that not all the cuts were available.. . Excellent chease cake to finish the meal. Prices as expected. It would be nice to have the menu with prices available on the website

Quality food and service that's hard to beat anywhere. Have eaten at Morton's throughout the US and every restaurant meets their high standards.

Morton's Steakhouse was wonderful, from the beautiful decor to the outstanding Staff and of the food was profound. Being that it was a birthday dinner for my cousin they granted my cousin a free dessert of her choice! We will definitely be visiting there again when we are in Atlanta!

Had dinner with mom and dad while in Atlanta. I was a little unsure of having dinner here as my last few times have been disappointing. Everything from checking to our server was 5 stars! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was what I expect from a top tier restaurant. I would highly recommend eating here.

The private dining experience was perfect, attentive and the menu offered great choices. The steak was perfect and the side dishes were amazing - enjoyed the scalloped potatoes and the corn. The dinner was topped with a fresh berries dessert and it was just lovely after a heavier meal.

Went there for dinner last week and it was as expected - fabulous. Service was good and the food was great

Great food - well prepared and presented. HOWEVER: 1) none of the three servers/hosts wanted to be there. all had a so/so attitude and one kept us waiting on our bill and cc return while she continued to serve other several tables; 2) interesting the manager emailed with a nice in general how was it note. So, we let the manager know. Nicely of course. Never did hear back. NOT a Morton's experience but the manager's approach to service does look to reflect on other customer-facing team members. More welcoming at McD's, I'm sorry to say. At least kitchen was top notch.

Extremely top notch on atmosphere, service and food! Hors d'oeuvre (scallops with apricot jam, lamb, goat cheese bruschetta), main course contained options with a salad. Sea bass, lobster tail, filet mignon and T-bone steak with a side of green beans and twice baked cheese potatoes were excellently seasoned and cooked to perfection! Desserts were cheesecakes and chocolate mouses! Wonderful experience and can't wait to return!

Our visit to Morton’s started off on a negative note when we arrived at the bar and learned that they were not offering a “happy hour” menu because the restaurant was focused on supporting convention guests and could not prep to support “happy hour”. It was disappointing to hear for someone who was supported Morton’s for 20+ years. At the end of the evening I was left wondering if the “happy hour” decision was due to the restaurant’s desire to maximize revenue by only serving dinner in the bar area. On a positive note the food and service was good. Kathryn’s performance at the bar was exceptional.

My wife and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We were sat promptly. Our server was outstanding. The food was great. The atmosphere was amazing. Service was on point. She was a great server. They even made the menus with Happy Anniversary on them overall we totally enjoyed it.

First time at Morton’s and my family (wife and 2 kids) loved it! Ricardo took great care of us with our choices, recommended great wines, and the Morton’s Sundae at the end was unreal. I fear we ate better than the wedding we were attending the next day at the Capital City Club, but totally worth it!!!

From the moment we stepped in the staff and servers were gracious and accommodating. We were not rushed and had a delicious dinner starting with the seafood tower. The steak was prepared to my taste and the sides were excellent. Even with restaurant being crowded you could still enjoy conversation. Great experience as always.

I have never in my life had a better steak. I love steak well done, and the steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and cooked completely thru. I was able to cut the steak with only the fork! The Sour Cream Whipped Potatoes was amazing, as well as the onion bread. Asparagus was over seasoned. Our service was fair - poor, and it was not a busy night. Had to walk to bar for drink refills. Food was fantastic though!

We are in Atlanta for the festive season, travelling from the UK. We decided to try out Morton’s as it was very close to our hotel given that some of our party were still jet lagged. The food was good, the establishment was ok and the service was fine. However, we found it to be very pricey for this type restaurant and we know that there are much better steakhouses out there which would provide a similar standard of service but with a much better value for money experience

We have eaten at morton's in other cities, this one however is a little different, the restaurant is a little more modern and we liked the atmosphere. The food was excellent for a Mortons and the service was also good. We enjoyed this place and will go back again.

Service is impeccable, always is . Salad was awesome , appetizers were great and of course the steak was top notch. Dessert was really good also

Nice and lively place @ downtown Atlanta close to Marquis Marriott Atlanta. Nice collection of wines and steaks .... I tasted fish - it was nice . Enjoy your steak 🥩 here...

Morton's in Atlanta was a great place for a business meal. Service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. Would highly recommend!

Dined with a group of colleagues for a business meal. Service was amazing - they were made aware of an allergy and ensured everything was free of the allergen before serving!

I have walked out of two restaurants in my life due to poor service -tonight Morton's was the second. So, it's not something I make a habit of. But on this Wednesday evening it (Morton's) was a terrible experience. I found an open seat at the bar, the only one. The bar was jammed. The restaurant was jammed. To me it seems they have an issue here - not enough room. Ok, I am in the bar so it's noisy but you are crammed so close together you over hear others conversations. I cannot imagine what the dining area would be like. It took awhile to place my order - but the ONE Bartender was simply swamped. Hence the comment on staffing. Finally I did get my order in. After waiting 25 minutes for my appetizer of a Prawn Cocktail nothing had appeared. I waited about five more minutes and left. To the Mgr's credit he refused to accept payment for my one glass of wine. I have experienced Capital Grilles when busy, Ruth Chris Steakhouses when busy. They seem to be able to handle peak nights. Morton's in Atlanta this night completely failed.

We celebrated a birthday with happy hour at Morton’s Steakhouse. David, the Bartender waited on us. We started with lavender cosmos which he expertly prepared. We ordered a few bar bites; all which were delicious. David was friendly and attentive. The afternoon was a great end to my birthday. This Morton’s will definitely get more visits from us.

Great restaurant for a business meal. Steaks are great and service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!!

One of my favourite restaurants in Atlanta is Morton's. Went there with two friends and we each enjoyed outstanding steaks done exactly the way each of us likes them. The sides were also very good indeed. Efficient and pleasant service and a very helpful maitre d'. A tip for first-timers. Parking is hopelerss in that area but the garage opposite has validated parking at Morton's

Honestly.... I’ve been to a lot of steakhouses, including other Morton’s, Lugers, Carnevino etc... but I was blown away by the perfectly done Cajun Ribeye paired with Lobster Tail (Valentines Special) and Au Gratin potatoes... Casey was on point as a server and reminded me what 5 star service was about... well done to everyone there... hats off to the chef for outperforming many others for steak done perfectly!

Just ate there and the food was superb and the service was faultless. Amazing restaurant and food and would come again.

Went here for business with a group of 14. The waiters were top notch, professionals all of the way. Food was great, staff really knowledgable on wines and choices. They have remodelled this in the last couple of years and it really is a very nice atmosphere. Been to Morton's in many cities and this is very representative of an excellent chain. It is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Desserts were also amazing and you ordered in advance so you did not have to wait. Great experience, really enjoyed it.

This is the first time I traveled to Atlanta with my mom.I browsed about most restaurants nearby hotel we stay, and Morton’s meets my requirements for steak and seafood. I order bone-in ribeye 16oz(nice texture and well made but too too big for lady😅,the taste worth the price and Prime USDA),scallops and lobster was also a WOW.Side dishes as spinach with mushroom and jumbo asparagus were outstanding either. Nice service, nice restaurant!

Great atmosphere and the best waitstaff anywhere. We liked it so much we went to the Morton's in Dallas and Orlando as well. We had our 1 year old son with us and they were very nice to him. Some fancy places will stick you in the corner if you have children. The onion bread is great. My favorite entree is the filet oscar and my husband prefers the plain filet. We both love the potatoes with the onions in them. For dessert, you must try the molten lava cake. We've also had the whole lobster before and it was cooked perfectly.

Morton's does steak about as good as it comes. The quality of their meats is extraordinary and it is prepared exactly to order. The wait staff is attentive to detail and know the menu inside out. They can answer any question and deliver any special need. The wine list is what one would expect from a high end steak house and does not disappoint. Morton's lives up to its reputation and delivers superior quality steak - exactly as one orders. Sides are varied and are ample servings. The grilled asparagus with balsamic was divine!

Went here with my husband and another couple. We had a great experience. The waiter was very helpful. The sides are À la cart but they are big portions for sharing. I got the steak with scallops and shrimp it was delicious. The husbands got the Cajun steaks per recommendation from the waiter and they loved it. The other wife got a filet and their were no complaints. Our sides were the mac and cheese, cream spinach, Au Gratin potatoes. They were all amazing favorite was the cream spinach. Drinks were great as well. Will definitely go back again

drove hour traffic to go to their Special they were advertising ALL MONTH of January, HURRY HURRY, only to get there wed and was told by the RUDE bartender "were not doing it tonight cause there is a convention in town"??? ended up staying to eat since drove hour.. WORST table by door opening and closing, THE WORST waiter horrible (Stefan). , and food mediocre at best.. VERY DISAPPOINTING.. DONT advertise something and then dont honor it ...was on FB and Insta all month.. HURRY ends jan 31st. OH BUT not tonight!? even the mgr. was unfriendly I was really disturbed by the lack of Friendliness and professionalism, waiter was SO lucky, didnt know specials, didnt know what came with the fish, didnt know how to pour champagne,, THIS IS NOT where you want to spend your 250.00 on a Less than par experience.. ..

This is a quality restaurant serving good food at a very reasonable price. Nice decor and clean restroom facilities.

Had a $100 gift card from my boyfriend's job to use up, so went here last night to celebrate a belated anniversary dinner. The handling of the occasion was great, both the hostess and the waiter congratulated us and we were seated side-by-side in a large banquet with customized menus and table decorations. The hostess took a picture of us and printed it as a souvenir. And the dessert (huge $13 chocolate cake) was deducted from the check (didn't tell us, just did it). Super classy. As for the rest.... I made the reservation from their website (which is linked to Open Table) and got a text a few hours later to confirm the reservation, but the person sending the text did not introduce themselves as being from the restaurant or from Open Table and did not reply to me to clarify. Maybe it was an automated text? I was afraid it might be busy with a Democratic party meeting in town, but ended up being pretty slow on a Saturday night. We decided to get two individual 24 oz porterhouse steaks ($64 each), lobster mac and cheese ($24), brussel sprouts with shallots ($13), and the second cheapest bottle of malbec on the wine list ($60). Skipped the appetizers and salads, and no regrets since it was plenty of food. The waiter recommended against the porterhouse for two since it takes a lot longer to prepare, but I prefer medium rare and boyfriend medium and two steaks were the same price. My boyfriend ordered a bourbon and peppercorn sauce ($6) for his steak and asked for it on the side. When the steak arrived there was no sauce, and we when reminded the waiter he fetched the steak and immediately returned with sauce all over the steak. My boyfriend decided he liked it at first, but it became a bit much after several bites.... and barely had a bourbon flavor. My steak had the standard seasoning and was VERY salty. I think salt is a good thing and can do wonders in moderation, but this was overkill. Otherwise the steak was good and I could wash down the salt with water and wine. I debated sending it back, but I suspect the steaks are pre-prepped with the seasoning. If you are salt sensitive or have high blood pressure, best to ask for reduced salt up front. The brussel sprouts were great. The mac and cheese had some nice large chunks of lobster, but was otherwise very oily. The service was spotty at times and I often had to refill my own wine glass. I doubt many of the servers had a long tenure, as is the case at competing steakhouses in Atlanta. We didn't finish one of the two steaks, so we asked our waiter to box it up with the remaining sides. But when I got home I realized there was no steak... just the sides. Not excusable for such an expensive piece of meat. I can totally understand why the Buckhead location closed if it was the same experience as this location, there are so many better options in Buckhead. I'm guessing 95% of the clientele at this location are from out of town, and that the majority are here on an expense account. For locals spending their own dough, go somewhere else. Also... I was amused that the silverware was the el cheapo banquet silverware with the little scallops on them. Really?!?

Ashley did a wonderful job. Best customer service ever. I’ve never had a better experience at a restaurant. I would recommend this steakhouse any day.

Love, love, love this place! Food great. A little pricey but over all it was good!!! Will we go back. Yes, but a smaller group.

Morton's offers more than just steaks, but why would you go there for anything else? Morton's provides a sophisticated atmosphere where you can enjoy a well prepared steak paired with a great wine from their extensive wine list. Morton's is certainly not the best steakhouse out there (e.g. Peter Luger, Bern's, etc.), but it is most definitely a huge step up from those many chain restaurants that merely claim the title of steakhouse. Morton's carefully selects its steaks, properly ages them, and expertly grills them at high temperatures. It's a great steak at a price that won't break the bank.

Had the opportunity to try an eye fillet here last week and it was fantastic. Almost as good as we get at home in Australia. Garlic french fries were a treat. Very expensive by Aussie standards though, and the exchange rate doesn't help. But I'd go back definitely.

Service was a tad slow BUT we were literally the first ones in for dinner service!! Not our first trip and Morton’s never disappoints!!

I am very picky and do not care what I spend to get an excellent steak. This was the best steak (10-10) and lobster tail (8-10) that I have ever had. Almost $100 person but well worth it.

Perry was our server and he is a great detailed oriented professional server. Meal was perfect and all our requests were honored without a question. Birthday cake was complimentary which was a plus. High quality meats cooked to perfection and Bernaise sauce best ever. Parking across from restaurant in public garage.

hate to leave negative reviews, but this was atrocious. Reservation at Morton's Atlanta. I called on my way to confirm. We arrive and the place is packed, the dining room is a mess and the whole scene is chaotic. We check in and are told we will be seated shortly, they just need to clean and set a table. The hostess disappears. I see her running plates across the dining room. 20 minutes goes by and she comes back. I politely ask if we will be seated. She tells me there's "no chance we are seated inside of an hour." I remind her we have a reservation - confirmed by her. She tells me they just seated several large parties and cannot seat anymore tables. I ask to speak to the manager. She, now with an attitude, leaves to get the manager. Another 20 minutes goes by and no one comes back to the front desk. I see the hostess looking at me across the room, clearly purposely not returning to have to speak with me. Realizing, that even if we sit, I am going to be disappointed as clearly they are having service issues, and I am about to spend $600 on dinner for my family, we opt to leave. We were in Atlanta on an international layover. We just wanted a quality meal on our first night back in the states. It was a $50 uber from our hotel to Morton's, and another $20 uber to a different restaurant. I expect more from the Landry's family. This was incredibly insulting and rude. Morton's just lost a customer.

I went with my husband and two children. We ate better than average steak (about the same at Ruths Chris) and each had an appetizer. We did not drink any alcohol and for the four of us, the bill was $340.00. This is a good steak but ridiculously overpriced and one could eat for less than half this cost at any other decent steakhouse.

Great atmosphere....felt like the Rat Pack might show up at any time. Very enjoyable and relaxing dinner and the steaks were oh sooooooo good. Pricey but we'll worth it

The location is downtown and the decor is great, food is what you expected from Morton's, service is great

We dined on Saturday evening at 8:30 pm. The dining room was mostly empty except for a few booths and tables sprinkled throughout the large dining room. Shortly after we arrived a large party of men came through and were seated in the center of the room. They proved to be animated and were subsequently moved into a private room, where we no longer heard them. The menu is varied, including many cuts of beef, pork, seafood and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the cauliflower with black truffles and parmesan. The baked potato was excellent, and about 9" long! A nice loaf of onion topped bread, very warm was presented first. The wine list is impressive. We enjoyed two glasses each, which set us back $65. Not cheap, but very nice for a special dinner. My fillet mignon ($45) was the less expensive choice to the $66 one of similar size with bone in. We enjoyed the service, the food and the ambiance, but will not be able to afford the Morton on every trip here.

Table of four, had to wait 2-3 minutes for hostess, no one at door to greet, strike 1, extremely cold inside, strike 1.5, the bread is a ridiculously huge loaf, why isn't it sliced? So messy and awkward to cut, no one wants that kind of hassle at an upscale restaurant. And, if you still choose this method, a bread knife should be provided. Only my father enjoyed his steak meal. Shrimp appetizer shrimp scampi nice size and presented well but undercooked. Baked potatoes were not premium sized and haphazardly cut. Three of four entrees lukewarm at best and had to be sent back. Mac and cheese is not oven broiled as it should be, it's obvious the pasta and sauce are just tossed and served, it would have been exceptional if the execution was there. Very disappointing, this location is not a professional representation of the brand. Dress code is not enforced. Morton's Schaumburg sets the bar.

If price is of little to no concern, you'll not be disappointed. Good wine selection. Ambience a cut above as is the service. Splurg and enjoy

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. The steaks were prime and the sides were just as good. The martinis were superb. Highly recommend. Service was outstanding.

No matter where you go, if there's a Morton's there, and you want a good steak in a fine dining restaurant, you can't miss with Morton's. This location has convenient across the street parking that the restaurant will validate for you, the restaurant itself isn't huge, but its plenty big enough and even offers private dining options. Typical Morton's layout with semi circle booths and large round tables decked out in crisp white linens and sparkling cutlery. The baked onion soup is amazing, delicious broth, plenty of caramelized onions topped with melty gooey cheese. Any steak you chose will be excellent, i went with a small 8oz fillet cooked perfectly and i added wild mushrooms as a side. Awesome wine, impeccable service and amazing steak, chops and seafood will leave you wanting more. It left me wanting more so much so, i went back the next night and did it all over again!

I Have Been Eating At Mortons For Years And It Is always Perfect I Have Eaten At All The Great Steakhouses In Buckhead And In Dallas, Gibsons In Chicago, Boa In Los Angeles , The Metropolitan Grill In Seattle And So On And So On This Is As Good As It Gets

Service was impeccable. The meal was very good. Everyone had steaks of all different cuts. Each was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Was expensive.

Great service and fantastic dinner. Had dinner a bar with excellent service from Katie. The mix grill with filet scallops and shrimp was perfectly prepared. Great steakhouse in downtown and a must visit.

Overall quite disappointing as compared to other steakhouses in Atlanta. Service was a bit slow, but I can get past that. The wedge salad was great, but the dry aged ribeye was not well prepared. Honestly, the steak appears to be boiled, no char at all and lacked flavor. The spinach and mushroom side also had very limited flavor. Overall the dinner was just “OK”, I’ve had much better steaks and sides for 1/3 of the cost.

Another Morton's experience with really good food and service, but I never feel it is worth the price. It is really good food, high quality but they charge more than it is worth. I really like the sides and salad, and the steaks are great. They had a fire alarm go off and everyone had to wait for a while until they got going again. Since it is a common place for business dinners I will return.

I eat here several times a year while in Atlanta for business The food is very good and their new remodel is well done My issue is the non stop up selling from the servers. We are starting to feel like we are buying a car.... When we say we have been there many times, take it for face value but don't try and up sell everything on menu.

Having dinner here was a nice experience. Atmosphere is wonderful! Staff pampered us. Food was perfect! It's not your casual steakhouse where you would bring the kids & grandpa. In fact I would not bring a child under age 13 here. This is a "grown up" resturant, luxury dining, with prices to match so check out the menu before you plan to dine here. For example - $59 filet mignon, $63 ribeye, $17 lobster bisque. We had 4 wait staff at our table. Our bill for 3 people (2 had pork chop dinners & 1 had soup) was $130, no wine or drinks from the bar. People were dressed very stylish, men in suits & ties, women in dresses & high heels. No T-shirts, no polo shirts or jeans here. Definitely NO flip flops! If you want to treat yourself to a special meal with a sophisticated atmosphere, I highly recommend Morton's Steakhouse. But if you are on a budget or have a large, loud family with young children, please do not come here. Don't get me wrong, I love children and I love dining out with my loud, silly family, great-grandparents & all, but this is not the place for that. This is a beautiful, quiet, romantic place where business deals & wedding proposals are made. Thank goodness!

I've eaten here many times over the years. They serve up delicious prime beef every time and the service is always impeccable.

This is a good couples night venue. I loved the ambience and the food was really great. My waiter was Charles. He was very outgoing and had great customer service. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We will be returning.

We ate here for my wife's birthday and it was very good again. We each has the three course meals for $40 each and it was a very good deal! The food was awesome too!!!

My wife and I ate there in late May. Great meal, attentive service and the complimentary birthday dessert, chocolate lava cake was excellent. My wife said her filet mignon was the best she could remember eating, and my Cajun ribeye was tasty, although honestly I am not such a connoisseur that it was worth three times what it would cost in Longhorn. What sparked me to write this review was our waiter's disclosure that the Atlanta Mortons you see today, a traditional steakhouse in a dark-ish room with many tables, is about to be remodeled, opened up with windows and patio and the menu broadened to include sea bass. And no doubt craft beer on draft, which is completely lacking at present. The passing of an era.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Wednesday night. So the service was good which is not always the case when there's no guests. The salad ( too much dressing) and tuna tower were good even when a bit big. The onion bread was too strong and didn't go with the food and even worth the wine. The filets were small. how oversized the side portions were, so was the meat undersized. With the exception of rib eye was the meat good. I can not recommend cajon steak. It was over cooked and way too spicy. We had chocolate desert for two, its actually the size for four. I suggest to skip desert altogether. All in all it explains why it was empty. When i compare what i got for $550 for the four of us i recall to spend the same money in guide michelin restaurants which were so much better. We will not go back.

Service was poor, we had to wait very long time for our orders. I can not understand why they accept such number of reservations that they can not handle! Stake was over cooked. The place was very noisy. This restaurant is overrated and far below expectation.

I brought my family in for dinner after being in the house for so many months. And all I can say is that we had an amazing night. Food was prepared perfectly, staff very friendly, place was clean, sanitizing after every guests, atmosphere was very nice. Great place!!

We have dined at this Morton's on several previous trips that required us to stay in downtown Atlanta. Love walking in that simple wood door. When we arrived, with a reservation, we (a party of two) were seated by two parties of 6-8 businessmen. The two parties had obviously "loosened" up prior to our arrival and were quite boisterous. Needless to say, we couldn't hear our server much less each other. I didn't mind that we were seated facing the open kitchen as I generally like to watch chefs at work. Service was prompt and attentive. We split a blue cheese wedge salad, shared creamed spinach and lyonnaise potatoes. All were nicely prepared. We both ordered filet mignons. Seated to watch the kitchen, I was beyond disappointed to observe steaks being cut out of vacuum-packed bags. Over-priced restaurant running on location convenience for travelers. Do not go out of your way to get here.

First there was no valet parking Second no one asked to check our coats until after we were seated at table Third the noise level was extremely high Second the tomato steak salad was not fresh The steak was not taste They were out of A1 sauce This is a steak restaurant on a very busy night Water wasn't served until we asked I have been to many Morton's and this is nothing like the rest Whoever is managing this location should have some hands on advice Wouldn't recommend

My husband and I snugged in to our round banquette table with a great view of the entire restaurant at the helm. We put our order in to our Turkish career server of 30 years at Morton’s. Next thing we know, a lovely and soulful African American woman in front of us, whose table was celebrating a birthday, stood up and asked the adjacent table if it would be ok if she sang HBDay to their birthday honoree as well. Everyone said bring it on...All I can say is she sucked us all in with her monumental southern Gospel singer rendition of Happy Birthday! We were captivated by her performance and I wish to thank her for that amazing moment. Wish I knew which church she sings in...I was so in awe that I totally forgot to pull out my phone...which is sometimes a good thing...just enjoy the moment. Right!? Morton’s was top notch as always!! Fun dinner!!

Had a solo lunch. The waitress was the best! Food was fantastic! The atmosphere was comfortable and there was no wait.

Food was awesome however they did not give us the steak presentation that I have had before .. food was good location is off the beaten path though

excellent meal, wine and service....I had a perfect filet and 48 hours later, I still have not had a substantial, Shaq-sized BM, which I would expect after such a meal. This in no way lessens the meal, and I still expect it to come out. Here come the Depends.

Morton's does a good job with everything. The location is central to everywhere a visitor might be, but it is a major hassle to get to if you are local. There is, however, parking across the street, once you navigate the one way streets. Once inside, your adventure begins. The host was diciest and directed me to the private room for my function. The room was very nice, although the sliding doors did little to keep out the noise from the main room. Additionally, the doors not only didn't completely close, but they were shared with the adjoining room, which also had the same same "don't completely close" problem. The result was a tug of war with the next room. It reminded me of a Marx Brothers movie and added some hilarity to the lunch. The service was excellent, as expected. The food was amazing. Steaks, fish, soups, salads, veggies desserts- all wonderful and cooker perfectly. Don't underestimate the grilled veggies. They are a perfect compliment to the main courses. The cheesecake should be against the law it's so good. The prices are in line with what you might expect from an upscale steakhouse in a tourist corridor in a major city. Ask for your parking to be validated. Except for the flaw in the design of the private room, Morton's is a perfect place for lunch or dinner, including private functions.

This is one of the most disappointing Morton’s I have ever visited, my wife and I were seated and waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come over, we ordered drinks and apps when he finally came over. 15 minutes later we finally got water, then our appetizer came out, still no drinks (not complicated, a cosmo and a martini), the appetizer was horrible, burnt to a crisp and we did not finish it. App gets cleared and we finally get our drinks. Dinner comes and steaks were cooked all wrong, Brussel Sprouts (on the menu said fried) were pure mush and the flavor of dirty socks. My orders another drink and it never comes, in fact the waiter came over and said “didn’t you order a drink” she said yes and said we are fine no need to bring us one we just want our check. Long story short, didn’t eat the steak, Brussel sprouts sucked and we are out $218.00 dollars for nothing.

Had two very special friends join us for this special anniversary dinner. Morton's Steak House is one of those places you go to for special occasions. The food and service is certainly first class and you are treated like royality. Our server was very gracious and helpful. The meal was esquisite and we were not rushed at any time . Highly recommend you treat yourself to this experience at least once.

I really don’t know what the fuss is over this place. The service is horrible, the food leaves a lot to be desired and is horrendously over price for what you get. If you’re a southerner steer clear. You will not get the hospitality you’re accustom to receiving.

Day, month, year in and out this restaurant ALWAYS delivers the absolute best - product, service, atmosphere, decently dressed customers while others come and go.

Morton's Restaurants always seem to have an air of elegance to them. Usually, the quiet atmosphere lends to the elegance but we were seated next to a very loud table. They have an extensive menu and an impressive choice of steaks. Our meal was wonderful but it was very expensive. The only complaint was the bread that they served. It was a small loaf of onion bread that was impossible to cut through and in the end we just pulled it into pieces and passed it around. That did not feel very elegant.

Morton's, with rare exceptions delivers on all fronts. Strong drinks, very good steaks and sides and excellent service. The Atlanta location was no exception. Our servers were spot on with great service and recommendations. The food was quality and more importantly cooked to everyone's liking. You want a good steak come here. You want an expensive good steak, definitely come here! Great special occasion venue.

My husband and I were in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl. We were able to walk from our hotel to Morton’s. We were immediately seated even without a reservation. The service was great. Our waiter recommended the filet mignon and lobster. It was pricey, but delicious!

Great downtown Atlanta steakhouse. Convenient to major downtown hotels. Made a reservation during the Covid 19 scare. The rest of downtown was a ghost town. Great service, great meal. Staff was fantastic from the time we entered - until we left. Wait staff was perfect.

Attending a conference in Atlanta, my colleague didn't mind jacking up his tab for dinner, so he wanted to go to Morton's Steakhouse. I unwittingly agreed, already calculating in my head that I would have to probably pay for the meal myself and cash expense it as my $25 per diem, paying for the rest myself. (I was right.) I know, I know... you're not supposed to order seafood at a steakhouse. However, my $55 salmon Alexander mixed grill was absolutely delicious. You have to purchase side dishes separately - and they're big enough to share - which is good, since the lobster mac & cheese cost $25. Wow. This is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion - like an anniversary or winning the lottery - but probably not the best selection for the frugally-minded. Of course, it was delicious food... of course, the tables had linens and multiple sets of eating utensils... and I found myself recalling every lesson on manners I had heard from childhood through charm school... but I think I (personally) would have be just as happy at a less-expensive restaurant without the sting of $90.67 meal.

The food was amazing on our last visit and the staff was pretty great too. Be prepared for steakhouse pricing but it's worth it when your steak comes out perfect and is accompanied by delicious sides and dessert to die for (I recommend the carrot cake). My mouth is watering and I'm starving just thinking about it.

I recently ate here with my wife as we were celebrating my wife's birthday. My wife got shrimp cocktail, they were huge but a little pricey as you would expect for a high end restaurant! I had steak which was very good. Everything is ala cart and shareable! Nice atmosphere and they validate your parking! Nice experience and the wait staff was excellent!

We’ve never been to a Morton’s and because it’s so close to the Fabulous Fox I made reservations. Roderick was our server and took care of every need. The lobster bisque and the Cesar salad were great. The steaks and seafood were delicious. Cream brûlée capped off the dinner on a high note.

I’ve been dining at Morton’s The Steakhouse for over 30 years. In that time, I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal at any of their locations. Known for their top-notch steaks and the impressive service, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better place for a company dinner, birthday or anniversary celebration. One particularly memorable evening I had was at the Morton’s in Dallas, Texas. My boss at the time was Larry Hancock who’s hobby was investigating the JFK assassination. Morton’s in Dallas is one block away from Daly Plaza and the infamous “grassy knoll”. That evening after dinner, we got a guided tour where Larry took us step-by-step through the event. It was a night I’ll remember the rest of my life. Larry went on to write all sorts of interesting books on the JFK assassination, the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King and other topics. On this evening, we were enticed by an email I received the prior week for a $29 Leap Day special. $29 because it’s Feb 29, I get it. To say it was a deal is an understatement. The offer included just two courses – a choice of appetizer and an entrée with a side. Altogether the value of the meal is $69, so we got about $40 off per person! Now, we got another appetizer, a dessert, and an extra side – without that though, it would have been a steal! The bread service starts you out on the right foot. They serve you a large uncut loaf of onion potato bread along with whipped butter. This bread is awesome because it’s both light and dense, so it goes down really easy. Be sure to ask your server to add a full loaf to your doggy bag, because you’ll want more the next day! We couldn’t resist the special appetizer of Lobster Stuffed Roasted Mushrooms. This was a special item that isn’t normally on the menu and I cannot recall having a similar item anywhere. I had to try it. I confess, great decision. It was awesome. The large mushrooms had the stems removed and the lobster and stuffing were plentiful. The roasting of the mushrooms was a perfect way to prepare this and the lobster stuffing had a great flavor. I chose the Caesar Salad, while Melanie selected the Morton’s Salad sans the anchovies. The salad is a perfect mix of greens and I really love the Caesar Salad at Morton’s because of the large shavings of Parmesan cheese. I loved the flavor of the Caesar dressing and Melanie got both the Bleu Cheese and Ranch and loved them both. We both decided on the 6 ounce Filet that came with our offer. Even though its the smallest Filet on the menu, its plenty of meat to satisfy. They offer a variety of flavors of butter toppings or even an Oscar topping with crab meat, asparagus and béarnaise sauce. I normally love béarnaise sauce, but this Filet is so good it would be a sin to put sauce on it. The meat is so tender you can literally cut it with a fork. This just melts in your mouth and is an incredible dining experience. The flavor was perfect and Melanie’s Filet was well-done without any charring just as she had requested. The Morton’s Filet defines their tagline – savor the good life. The sides were just as good as the Filet. I am a horseradish freak so when I saw Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, I quickly asked about substituting that for the Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes. So, I love horseradish and this was STRONG, even for me! I loved it though! The Creamed Spinach was some of the best ever. The asparagus was steamed and it worked out perfect for these LARGE pieces (some of the largest pieces of asparagus we’ve ever seen served publicly). During our meal, we overheard our server offer a Hot Chocolate Cake for dessert. It would take wild horses to make us leave without Melanie and Randy having some of that! Served with vanilla ice cream, its that perfect hot/cold taste in unity that makes it so marvelous. The hot chocolate is actually baked within the cake, so when you cut into it the steaming hot chocolate just oozes out. One word to describe this is “sinful”. Your personal trainer will hate you, but you will love it. When you go to Morton’s, you can park right across the street in Suntrust Plaza Public Parking area. It’s $6/hr but bring your ticket with you and Morton’s will validate it for you before you leave. If you forget your ticket (I obviously failed to read the part that says “TAKE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU”), they can give you a sticker to attach. Just stick the ticket in with validation, and the gate opens! Voila! Yes, yes, I know that Morton’s is a chain, but let’s face it – its a damn good restaurant and I’d put their filet up against anybody’s in town. They treat you like royalty and have a superior dining experience. BOOM – there it is. If you’re in Atlanta on the company dime, take advantage of it and go to Morton’s. Guten appetit!

I visited this past Friday (7/20/18) and sat at the bar with a friend. We came to have a drink and some apps before I left for the airport. Shyra was our bartender and she was fantastic. My friend and I each ordered a martini which was really crisp and delicious. We shared the the tuna tacos, crab dip, and a shrimp Alexander. The tacos were really good and and the dip was phenomenal. However, the deduction in stars was for the less than mediocre shrimp Alexander. The shrimp were over cooked and rubbery, and had a burnt after taste. It really was tasteless and chewy. Being that I had a flight to catch we just ate it, paid, and left. Having eaten the Shrimp Alexander just about every time I go to a Morton’s, and hyping it up to my friend, made this extremely disappointing. I ended up paying $22 for 4 over cooked shrimp- and I should note there was no one in the restaurant besides for us and one other couple. Really don’t think I’ll be back at Morton’s because with that name, and prices to boot, I have high expectations and this establishment fell below. Never thought I’d say this in the 12 years I’ve been patronizing Morton’s but save your money and go elsewhere.

The ambience at Morton's is great - all dark wood and low lights. My steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. The service was excellent and the staff were extremely gracious when we had some difficulty with our credit cards. Really enjoyed our evening here.

I visited Morton's as a birthday gift. I order the Mixed Grills which included a 6 oz Fillet Mignon (which was butterflied before grilling), 3 grilled shrimp and 2 bacon wrapped sea scallops. Everything was very well prepared and presented but most importantly tasted wonderful. But the biggest and best surprise was yet to come. My words do not fully express the pleasure I experienced as I dined on Morton's bread pudding for dessert. It was, without a doubt, the best bread pudding I have ever tasted. Fantastic way to top off a good meal.

If you order the ribeye steak here, make sure you are really hungry. My ribeye was perfectly prepared (medium rare) and delicious. And, it was HUGE. It was served with nice vegetables and our starter salad was great. My favorite was the key lime pie for dessert. Overall, I rate this Morton's highly and would look forward to dining here again when I am really hungry.

We had a very poorly located table next to the swinging kitchen door with an endless parade of servers running past us all dinner. Food was average, with the exception of the horseradish mashed. Kitchen had trouble cooking one steak to the right degree (3x) , but did correct it finally, and removed it from the bill.

The steak was perfect, the Brussels perfection, creamed corn…..deliciously out of this world!!! Our severe was great very attentive and friendly…. All of them. They checked in on us often. We felt like royalty

Dined at Morton’s Steakhouse in Atlanta and overall had a good experience. The Wagyu beef dumplings were excellent and full of flavor. We ordered the rack of lamb, six-ounce Wagyu bavette, and a filet with lobster tail. The meats were good, but the lobster tail was undercooked and the entrées weren’t very hot when served. The lobster mac and cheese, spinach, and mushrooms were very tasty. Despite a few issues, I’d give it another try.

It was a nice dinner and located close to our hotel (Ritz) so we walked to dinner. They even took our picture and gave it to us at the end of dinner for my husbands birthday.

We have eaten at Morton's all over the world and have not been disappointed until we dined at the Atlanta location. We spent $179 for a meal which was a total waste of money! Luckily, the bread was great, as usual! We ordered the Lobster Tail special that was offered during Lent and they were just okay. The spinach and mushrooms were terrible. The spinach tasted "dirty" and had some sort of spice that was not a taste we enjoy. We did send them back and asked for brussels sprouts. They were okay, but were not cooked long enough to become tender. It really saddens us that Morton's, right here in Atlanta and where we live, will not be a place we will return.

My friend and I dined at this Morton's location on 1/29/18. First of all, our table was located in a "created area," which left us right in the breezeway of the main entrance of the resturaunt to receieve all of the winter gusty wind that entered the building each time the door opened. We complained about the location and the uncomfortableness of the table and asked if we could be relocated. A female manager who did not share her name came over and we shared how uncomfortable we were at this table and recommend that no customer should be sat at the table because of this experience and the manager became short and said its nothing she could do. There were other open tables available althought it was set up for a larger party but none the less accommendations could have been made. The manager offered no typre of recovery not even acknowledgment acknowledment of our dissatisfaction. The waitress offered more concern and provided actual customer service vs the manager. I will not return to this location and I do not recommend this location due to its lack of concern for its customer's comfort and satisfaction, but my waitress Ashley was great.
No matter where, always great.
No matter where you go, Morton’s is always an incredibly delicious steak house with great service. No exception here in Atlanta. Avoiding red meat at night, I had the Chicken Christofer absolutely delicious.
