expensive, but great. the food is always top notch along with the service. would not hesitate to recommend this experience.

We went to Morton's for our anniversary. The staff literally doted on us. And they printed a special menu for us that had "Happy Anniversary" with our names at the top. From the greeter, to the waiter to the wine specialist, everyone was attentive and professional. We both had ribeye steaks, cooked to perfection. I had a red wine (can't remember vineyard but "Prevail" was in the title) and it was one of the best wines I've had. This place is pricey but worth it, especially for a special occasion. They really go all out!

I visited Arnie Morton's with a group of business professionals. Morton's is a typical place for these types of meetings (5 gentlemen) and it was another great time. While, I personally feel the food is a bit overpriced, its quality and taste is quite good. We started with the hot seafood platter as an appetizer, then moved on to our steaks and sides. As expected there were no complaints and all plates were spotless when dinner was finished.

I've eaten at a number of Morton's and have never been disappointed until my meal last night. I don't know if its this location, of if the new management has decreased the quality of the restaurants throughout the chain. Under the new management they no longer come to the table with the cart and run through the various cuts of meat and vegetables, which used to be fun. We ordered souffles and then about 15 minutes later our waiter came to the table and said that they weren't making souffles that night because a machine was broken. Then, our steaks were served without the Bernaise sauce and we had to track down our waiter to get the sauce which should have come with the steaks to begin with. My water glass was empty for a lot of the meal and was slow to be refilled. I had a gift card which I used to pay with. The waiter came back and told me that there was nothing on the card. The card had never been used, and had $100 on it, so I told him to try again. 20 minutes later he came back and apologized for the embarrassment -- the card had worked. When you're paying $75+ per person for a meal, everything should be excellent. I don't recommend this Morton's - try a different location or a different steakhouse.

I was really excited to come here for happy hour with my coworkers because I had heard great things about their bar menu. We sat outside on a nice winter evening, and it was nice because it wasn't too cold, but they still had the heat lamps on. It was a little breezy, so no one else was outside but our table, but it was still okay. There were two servers waiting on us, it was really good because they kept coming by to check on us. However, they weren't coordinated, because they both kept asking the same questions. I got a glass of Malbec and a Palm Beach cocktail and had the Filet Mignon Trio (Sauce Au Poivre, Béarnaise and Blue Cheese Butter) because my coworker had told me it was really good. Unfortunately, I found the meat to be a bit dry and bland. Not sure if it was because I was still getting over a cold, and my taste buds were a bit off, or if it was because I had asked for the meat to be medium. Would it have been more tasty if I had asked for it medium rare? Dunno. The drinks were pretty good, and the Palm Beach cocktail had the fresh taste of pineapple juice. My total bill came out to $25, which was with happy hour prices. All-in-all, I would say it was a pleasant place to hang out for happy hour, except for a hiccup at the end. One of my coworkers had ordered a martini but didn't realize that his choice of drink was not included in the happy hour prices... but the server had never informed him of such. So there was a bit of a snafu with both of the servers and then the manager had to get involved. They finally comp'd us for the misunderstanding, but it took a long time to sort out the bill. This kind of put a damper to the evening, so I'm not sure if we will be coming back here any time soon.

Tried the special spring salad. Big enough to share which we did. Took advantage of discount on stag leap bottle of cab. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Souffle dessert was light and airy. Also good to share. And then walked back to Hilton!

The staff and service make this already fantastic restaurant a perfect choice for just about any perfect night out. From excellent bartenders, to servers that anticipate your every need, to the deserts that…well they're just unbelievable…Morton's Woodland Hills is a dining experience you are sure to love. We come here for happy hour almost every Friday night and love it, and this is also our favorite 'special' spot for birthdays and New Years! My favorite is the Cajun Ribeye (wow…just wow) and they make really really good Manhattans! Sum up, great for a special night out!

We dined here for a business meeting in a private room. We had two servers assigned to us. There were only 4 of us but it was nice. This is Comparable to the other Morton Steakhouses around. I do like the sides and the raspberry soufflé was quite good.

Morton's outdid themselves this time! Early dinner on patio. Jason bartender welcomed us and seated us and took drink order. He was very friendly and kept us entertained until our waiter Derek arrived, who was also friendly. Jason and Derek were both attentive throughout the evening. Their personalities made our evening special. The food and wine exceptional - Caesar Salad, Filet Mignon, Spinich & Mushrooms, Shrimp Alexander, Creme Brulee. Morton's honored an offer from the manager Mary Ellen after our last dinner in 2019 - due to Covid, we've been unable to dine out until now. The only disappointment was hubby had heart set on the wagyu beef to celebrate his 2020 birthday but the shipment was delayed. We plan to return to celebrate his 2021 bday after the wagyu arrives. Many thanks to all for a wonderful dinner experience!

Went to Morton's for a team Christmas Lunch. We have high expectations and they were completely met. Our reservations were for 1pm and the place was packed with Christmas luncheons. However, we planned on spending the entire afternoon there and succeeded in grand fashion! By the time we left, after 4pm, we were the only table that was occupied. The staff was attentive the entire time. The food was (as expected) excellent. We frequently consider alternative restaurants for special lunches, but always return to Morton's!

Came here with a group. Nice outside area. Appetizers were delicious and hot and drinks were also good. Servers were constantly there to ensure you were eating or drinking. Very professional.

At the very best, this is an average restaurant, serving average to less then average food in exchange for very high prices. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and will be neither returning, nor recommending Arnie Morton's in Woodland Hills to others. Just a few examples here: (1) An order of seared scallops wrapped in bacon included three large scallops, absolutely pale with no sign of searing of any type, presented with a bit of marmalade which did less than nothing for the dish; (2) A nearly $20 order of first-course crab cakes included one rather small crab cake; (3) There is absolutely no excuse for pricing Chilean Seabass at $40+ Ala Carte, just so the same amount of money could be realized from customers which do not eat steaks. To me, this is punitive, not to mention that the fish was as ordinary as one could only imagine with a bit of pineapple salsa on top; (4) The lobster tail which came with the steak was completely overdone and dry, but not rubbery, just dry, which leads me to believe that frozen lobster tail was paired with the steak. No excuse for this type of a restaurant; (5) The Grand Manier souffle was terribly doughy and underdone, and the only flavor which could be detected was of eggs. The menu, in its entirety, is recited by heart at a speed of light and no opportunity to ask a question about a specific dish until the waiter finally takes a breath and, by then, it is hardly possible to remember what one wanted to ask about a first course. Why bother with this senseless intro? Why not provide a written menu right from the start (it is available following the marathon verbal recitation) and allow people to consult it and then ask questions? Finally, the table is literally attacked by various members of the staff, waiters, assistants, runners, men in suits. Due to obvious lack of coordination and unnecessarily created urgency, a dinner plate was placed on top of the glass of water, toppling the water, spilling it all over the table and my clothes, necessitating re-seating to a different table in the middle of a meal, and further negatively impacting the experience. Yes, it was an accident and management sent complimentary after-dinner drinks but there is no excuse for poor service, even if it was accidental, or employing "clumsy" waiters, as the server called herself. We expected a flawless meal and service for the price, neither of which was delivered.

We walked over from the Hilton Hotel. We had reservations for 5 and 4 of us made it and they were fine with it. First we ordered our drinks. Next, we ordered side dishes to share and our main courses. The main course thes existed of bacon steak, ribeye steak and a special. The side dishes were steamed Brussel sprouts, horseradish mashed potatoes, mashed cauliflower with black truffles. All were prepared amazingly. The stakes were prepared to perfection. Very pricey and very tasty. Highly recommended! Great service.

Sat in the bar by myself and had a very good ribeye with a couple Maker's 46. Now leaving full and very satisfied. The bar tenders were excellent.

I have been to 7 different Morton's location. This was my first time trying the restaurant in Woodland Hills. It was a terrible experience, and the lack of follow up is even worse. I made a comment (see letter below) on their website over a week ago and still haven't heard back. With a Flemings and Ruth's Chris within 2 miles and Mastro's not too far away, I can't imagine why anyone would spend their money at this far inferior spot. Judging by their occupancy on Thursday night I would say not many do. This was my note to them: "We had a very poor experience at the Woodland Hills location last night. We were seated at about 7pm. Waters and menus were not brought to us for 20 minutes. Our party did not receive our first course of salads and soups until 7:50pm. When asked about the delay, Robert responded that the kitchen was buried (which seemed surprising since the dining room appeared to be about half full). Our entrees arrived at 8:40pm (roughly an hour and 40 minutes after being seated). The food wasn't terrible though it wasn't excellent either. My steak was not properly cooked however there was no way I was going to send it back after waiting so long to have it served the first time. We rushed through that course because we were hungry and almost out of time with our sitter at home. After sitting for over two hours, we asked for our desserts to be prepared to go because we had to leave. In fact, my wife had to "leave early" after two hours to relieve the sitter. My wife spoke to Enrique about the experience, telling him she doesn't plan to return with such local dining options as Mastro's, Flemings, and Ruths Chris. He seemed confused, and offered a free appetizer for next time. The manager's lack of urgency summed up the attitude of the staff, resulting in a poor experience."

The 4 of us celebrated Christmas Eve at this place and were very pleased. Nicely done inside as all Morton's, very classy and upscale. We started with Woodford Manhattan's. We also had abottle of "Drama" Cab. which you should try. I had the crab cakes and sides of sauteed spinach/mushrooms and AuGration Potatoes (Sides were shared by all). Good tasting crab and almost no filler. My wife had the Honey Glazed Salmon and she loved its moist and fresh flavor. Others had the Chicken Christopher, Ribeye/Bearnaise, Lobster Bisque, & Caesar Salad. All was excellent. Bring your wallet as dinner similar to ours will run you $500 minimum without dessert, coffee or anything else plus valet parking $6 All plus tips

Great place for dinner, it has private rooms is you want privacy with your group. At the entrance is a nice bar and parking is easy and always available. Food quality is good, service is great and wait staff goes above and beyond to please.

Mortons comes off the winner in a comparison with Ruth Chris. Better menu, less crowded and noisy, attentive staff. Inside parking structure valet parking which was a godsend during the storms.

Visited for drinks and bar bites. I had no reservations but I was able to get seated Right away at the patio. The decor is great. Staff is very attentive. Menu has a lot of selections. I ordered the short rib tacos and sangria summer drink. Tacos were really good, seasoned well, meat was soft and I wanted more after eating these tacos. Valet parking is available. Overall it's a high end restaurant, great for date nites or family and definitely if you are not on a budget.

We have been to this restaurant at least five times over the last few years. Booked a table for two, once we had got over being offered a table in a high traffic area near the back of the Bar settled for a table in the main dinning area. Obviously not regular customers but one that have been there before. Service was good but ordered Steak medium Rare and a medium steak to well done turned up. On returning it I got a steak cooked exactly as asked (MR) and in my opinion a better quality than the original one. For the price you are paying a little disappointing.

this is my 4th or 5th time at this Morton's. I find it better than most Morton's which as a whole, DC, Chicago and Atlanta, I have found very sub- par. The food was good the service very attentive. There are three issues that really aggravate me and they are as follows: 1.The music they play is terrible, not dinner music but all sorts of music not agreeable with a nice relaxing dinner 2.The waiter is selling and up-selling all the time. I went with my wife, we eat out VERY often, we don't need someone pushing us to spend more, eat more. We know what we want! 3. We do not want to be sold on joining Landrey's Select Dinning Club. We came for dinner not a club sales pitch! Come on, the food is good, the place is nice, make it a great relaxing experience. I am not going to another Morton's until this place changes.

You take a really great piece of aged steak and throw it into a 600 degree cast iron pan. when all the sides have a good char the steak is done. It will be crisp and charred on the outside and cold in the center. Only a great steakhouse will even have the pan in the first place. If you like rare meat this is for you

We have sampled many of the finer steakhouses in Southern California the past two years. They have all had very good food, but Morton's was the whole package. The cost was what you'd expect. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant, but not stuffy. The steaks were superb and matched with a great slection of wine. It was an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Morton's was the first one that we both agreed deserves a return visit.

Morton's is one of my all time favorite places to eat whenever one is available during my travels. The food is always top notch and service is also very good. This particular location was very warm however. My customers and myself all thought it was a bit too warm. We asked if the AC could be turned up but we didn't notice any difference. Back to the food and service: Fantastic

Okay this is the place for steaks this is the place for family but now seasonally they have end of the woods mushrooms so rare so tasty must come and try

One of the best steak restaurants in the city but expect to pay extremely high prices.

It was so dark that you can barely read the menu. Prices were crazy high. Pricing for even a Sirloin was nuts. No sides included.

Visited this fine restaurant for our anniversary. When I made the reservation I told them about out special day. When we arrived the atmosphere was great with candle on every tables. The menu was customized with a "Happy Anniversary" message. We ordered a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Ahi Tuna Tower as appetizers. For dinner I ate a 6oz filet Mignon with 3 grilled shrimps and my wife ordered a Honey-chili glazes Salmon Fillet. For desserts we had a Carrot cake and Hot Chocolate Cake. The food was delicious! Service was great, from the greeting at the door, to the waiter, to the manger who checked on us periodically. Highly recommend this restaurant. Its not cheap, but worth the money.

Went to Arnie Morton's in Woodland Hills with another couple and we all agreed that our food was some of the best we've had. Two had steaks and two had fish abd we all raved about the food. We did agree that the prices were a bit high but the food was worth it.

Good food, but server new to restaurant, which has also been remodeled to be more modern and crowded and noisy. Also the experienced servers we knew are gone and replaced with young folks with a heavy accent hard to understand. Sad state of a once grand restaurant.

What we hoped would be a nice evening out with the family before our son returned to college, turned out to be a very disappointing night out. It started when we walked in (with a reservation) but were not greeted, as there was nobody up front. After waiting a few minutes, someone finally greeted us, but told us that (despite the reservation) we would have to wait. We waited, and were finally seated, but service was excruciatingly slow. It seemed like they were understaffed or something, but nobody acknowledged anything, nor were we offered anything like a drink of dessert for our patience. Even trying to get the bill took forever. Anyway, to make matters even worse, afterwards, Morton's sent me a survey, which I completed, telling them about our disappointment, but yet nobody responded or acknowledged anything even after I expressed my disappointment. When you spend the amount of money that Morton's costs, and it is not cheap, you deserve to have a great dining experience, not what they put us through. The food was just OK and not worth the time and money we wasted that evening. Sorry to be so harsh, and I know things can't be perfect every night, but a little acknowledgment when things were dragging out would have been nice.

This was good in all aspects- can recommend it! Food was good, service was appropriate to this level of restaurant.

Hello, just had a terrible experience after I spent $350 on take out from you Woodland Hills, CA location. I called in regarding an important food allergy, as instructed on the ordering site, and was hung up on by an extremely rude employee named Janet. I called back immediately to confirm I was hung up on and Janet stated that I should have listed allergies online and hung up on me again. There is no option to list them online, the site says to call. I would like to be in contact with the general manager, Shannon Antrim.

You know what you get at Morton's, and this visit didn't disappoint. Professional waitstaff. Reasonable steak and seafood specials (I had filet and scallops wrapped in bacon; others had steak and lobster). Delicious cauliflower and cheese side dish. Stellar dessert. Pricey, but usually a destination for business dinner, so that's not often an objection, and you get what you pay for.

We were here on Father's Day and we had an issue with the sound they addressed it immediately even with all of these people the service is still excellent and the food is brilliant

Dined here during a West Coast holiday. We always try to go to a Morton’s once each holiday in the US as you can’t get steak like this in the UK. This meal was fantastic. We shared the 32oz porterhouse as our main course which was exceptional. We didn’t think we’d be able to eat it all but we couldn’t allow ourselves to leave any! Service was good and it’s a lovely restaurant. We were also given an extra dessert as it was our wedding holiday. If only we had a Morton’s over here!

Service, ambiance and the food were all amazing. The desert souffles looked perfect but we were too full from our meal. Very welcoming staff.

Every time i am in this area i eat at this Mortons. Walking distance from the Hilton and has a great bar crowd. The food is always delicious

Had a pre Christmas dinner with my son at Morton's Christmas Eve and enjoyed it immensely. It was rather quite, which was good. We started out at the bar for a cocktail before being seated for a wonderful Sea Bass and Steak. The service was excellent all around. Morton's has a great happy hour as well that starts on Sunday and runs through Thursday in the bar area. After a day of shopping down the street from Off5th, Nordstrom Rack and the Topanga Mall, it's a nice treat any time of year.

While Morton;s of Chicago is a chain, this one has a distinct personality of welcoming the hungry and/or thirsty with libations and delicious meals. The steaks or fish are grilled to perfection your liking. Salads have a flare with some dried fruits and healthy vegetable mix, the onion rolls are a staple, and delicious served hot. In fact the food timing, temperature and taste were all top notch, and it is clear the staff were well versed at getting the food at the right time for flavor and pace. Desserts varied from healthy (berries) to decadent (soufflé), ample wine list to satisfy even a. Californian's tongue. I had the salmon which was cooked well, and a high grade catch.

We were there for my wife's birthday celebration. the staff was very accommodating. The suggested fare was superb. Steaks were done to a turn. We were stuffed! More than enough food! And the service was excellent. The wait staff was unobtrusive, but always there when we needed them (water, wine, and so forth). Highly recommended!

In my view, good steaks do not need to be loaded with butter/fat and neither do the accompanying vegetables. Good wine list particularly their selected ones. Next time I will ask them to hold the butter.

Went on Saturday for an early dinner on my wife birthday. Sat outside on the patio. I had filet and scallops wrapped in bacon; my wife had steak and lobster. Delicious AuGratin Potatoes, onion bread. Stellar dessert. Jayson provided us with the professional service and every attentive with great personality.

I was treated for my birthday and it was a treat indeed. The steak was perfect and the sevice was outstanding. Very nice surroundings and good wine list. I liked the menu printed with Happy Birthday. This was fine dining to the max. Just be ready to pay dearly. I was a bit disappointed everything is ala carte as at those prices they should at least give a side dish. Nice desert selection.

Prime ribeye, mixed grill = 6oz filet mignon, jumbo shrimp 🦐, scallops & grilled asparagus. Onion bread 🥖 yum! Food was perfection. So delish. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, perfect temp 😋. Great 👍🏻 ambience, great service. Pricey but once in a while- you need a treat. This was a great treat for us.

Always excellent! Many restaurants did not survive the pandemic, but Morton’s did because for years and years they have served excellent food and provided the very best customer service. The steaks, including the Filet Mignon, are always delicious, but the Chilean Sea Bass is every bit as good. The appetizers and soups are also amazing and the bar is outstanding! It’s not inexpensive, however, it’s very much a good value for the cost. If any restaurant ever deserved 5 stars, Morton’s does! Weather it’s a very special day or just a day you want to make special, Morton’s is the place to go.

Love eating here! The appetizers weather the Ahi Tuna Tower or Jumbo Shrimp are delicious. There steaks are superb and my favorate is the 12 oz. Filet Mignon, but I have had many of their various steaks and they are all a tasty treat. The place is formal and good for celebrations, business, dates, or nice family outings.

This restaurant serves higher quality steaks and seafood. Just about everything is a la carte. I split a wedge salad with my dining companions and went on to order a nice petit filet mignon. The table also ordered some vegetables to share. We split some mashed potatoes, which were out of this world. We also split a couple of desserts. This was a business dinner and the tab was company-paid. But I am not sure I would say the food is good enough to spend my own dime on such pricey food. The service was good, not outstanding, but our server was attentive enough.

Top notch. Excellent food and we were attended to by a very professional guy called Tyler. Maybe a little expensive but well worth it !

I have enjoyed happy hour and/or dinner here many times. Whenever we have business travelers in our office, we take them to Mortons and they love it. I highly recommend Morton's!

Expensive steak house with great steaks. We had the fillets' asparagus, baked potato and then dessert: key lime pie and sunday/fudge brownie. Service was excellent and friendly. The wine list is expensive and has good choice of mostly California and options from Europe. The setting is more formal, rooms for private parties. Portions are big enough to split/share. Valet parking for $5.

As a member of the LSC, I occasionally receive emails with great dining deals. Recently I received one for Morton’s for a Steak and Lobster tail special for $40, so how was I going to pass that one up. We arrived early on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty dead. However, even with just a few folks in the restaurant, we managed to wait at our table for almost 10 minutes before our waiter came by with menus and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. From there, the service got worse. I ordered a Caesar salad to start along with the $40 special of course and my wife had a French Onion soup and Chopped salad combo. The filet was suppose to be 6 oz and tail 5 oz, but I can assure you the filet was no bigger than 4 oz and it was very tough, not at all tender like a filet should be. The tail was also undercooked and rubbery however the waiter never came by to ask how our meal was. On a positive note, my wife loved her salad and soup but the $15 bloody mary she ordered had mostly tomato juice and pepper and was not good at all. The service was so bad, a different waiter came by asking us if we wanted dessert and when we said, “no thanks”, brought over the check. Our waiter however was quick to show up as we were getting up from our table, to check and see if we had left a tip, which we did. Now we have been to this Morton’s before (not on a Sunday night) and have had exceptional service and food, but this time for the most part it was anything but good. Next time I won’t be so excited about a $40 steak and lobster combo deal.

The food is excellent, the menu expansive, the martinis are delicious and the service is first class. There's no reason to keep reading unless you are planning a special anniversary or just want to know why we love this place. For our anniversary, we made reservations. Good decision! We arrived to find a personalized menu printed just for us - with our names and Happy Anniversary at the top. We chose our appetizers and got several suggestions from our waiter on things we hadn't considered. When our meal came, they accidentally gave me a smaller portion of steak then I had ordered and they more than made up for it. We were treated to a memorable night and amazing food. Make plans to come here for any special occasion. You can't go wrong!

Haven't been to what used to be our favorite steak restaurant Mortons (Beverly Hills location) for awhile, preferring Ruth's Chris. Decided to celebrate our 20th Anniversary here. The place was nearly empty on a Sunday evening. Our server was wonderful, but the rest was not! Everything was overdone. My "medium rare" steak came only slightly pink in the center (Medium well?), and my wife's "medium" filet had no pink whatsoever (Well?). Grilled asparagus was grilled too long, leaving chared areas. My fries were so brittle they broke when a fork was struck in one. My wife ordered the lobster tail/filet combo. When the main course arrived, there was no lobster tail. The manager explained it "fell apart" while cooking. When the new one arrived, it was also overdone...dry as paper...no moisture at all. As a change of pace, the souffle was UNDER cooked, half of it being a mushy mess. The salads were excellent ! Their home made Bleu Cheese dressing is outstanding. I am usually very generous in reviewing lodging and restaurants, but this was a real disappointment. They did however, have a special menu printed for us wishing us a happy 20th anniversary, and they took a photo and made a very nice card, signed by the staff. A nice touch which mitigated the food perparation. Is it possible they had a new chef, or oven/grill problems? I can't believe this happens all the time there. The writer before me complained about the seating manager. He seemed OK, but a bit impersonal when we were seated, but as my wife and I passed him by at his desk at the front door on the way out, neither he or a female hostess acknowledged us, or said even a "Thanks for coming in!" Now that's just plain wrong. To top it off, there was an on-line survey on our receipt to complete. I did, and never received a response. Oh well, back to Ruth's Chris.

Shannon the gen mgr seated us and was very attentive. Our waiter Brian was all business - not social which is needed to make an exceptional dining experience. The salads were ordinary. Cajun steak was delicious. Shrimp Alexander were either overcooked or old - very dry. Baked potatoes good. Aspargus had balsamic on it which did not go with rest of meal. Creme brulee good. Chocolate cake huge and ok. Wines good - nice pour size.

As others have said, the food and service are absolutely amazing. This is a great place for that very special occasion. It comes at a dear price but that wasn’t a surprise. My only wish would be that it could keep that pristine quality without being a dollar sign higher than equally rated and equally famous steakhouses in the area.

I had heard of Arnie Morton's many times over. Knew it was a large chain of steakhouses, but yet had never eaten there. Most people swear by it for consistent quality so I had high expectations. The truth is the food is solid, the service is very good (though we had a few errors made, they handled it like pros) and the prices for what you're ordering are competitive. But sadly, nothing about it stood out as exemplary. The double bone-in rib-eye I ordered was cooked pretty much as I asked (medium rare) and was tasty but nothing to write home about. Granted, you have the option of adding an 'upgrade' to your steak of a special sauce or crabmeat, etc. I passed on those as for me, a good steak generally doesn't need these. Our side dishes of creamed spinach and macaroni and cheese were good as well, though they initially forget the spinach -- they credited us later which was over and above what they needed to do. Kudos to them for great service The wine I ordered by the glass, a Gascon Malbec, was average for a $15 price. Perhaps the most delectable part of the meal was their onion bread, baked fresh and delivered with a finely whipped butter. Warm and full of flavor, this stuff melts in your mouth with or without the butter. You could do a lot worse for a special occasion. Arnie Morton's is like the old work horse on a football team: consistent, solid but not going to make you go 'Wow!'. There are plenty of other steakhouses in Los Angeles where you can get a little more bang for your buck.

The experience was great starting with the personalized birthday menus they surprised me with. My family enjoyed their steaks fully and I loved my tuna stack appetizer and salmon entree (I don't eat red meat). The chocolate lava cake and chocolate soufflé were delicious too. Service was stellar! Last surprise was a photo of us in a paper Morton's frame. Nice touches all around. We'll definitely return soon!

Having flown over from the UK colleagues and I were trying to tay awake and needed something to eat. What a place this is, we were surprised to get a table as it was heaving. We were sat in the bar so was very busy, but service was very good, and the food excellent, Lovely bottle of red too! Blimey the bill was big, just for the 3 of us!!

Booked ahead using OpenTable.com and then rang the restaurant to book their special Prime Rib which is only available Friday and Saturday nights. When we arrived exactly on time there seemed to be some consternation at the front desk and we were told to wait while they sorted our table out. There is no waiting area for diners and the bar was full so we had to stand in the middle of the doorway getting blasted by cold air while 2 other parties arrived and were seated immediately. We were celebrating a special occasion and had picked Morton's as they are reputed to have excellent service and we had received such at a Morton's in New York. After 12 minutes waiting we were about to leave when a "Manager" in a suit strolled up and started looking at the seating plan with the hostesses. We asked if there was a problem and he literally barked NO! at us and continued playing with the computer. After a couple of minutes he decided to lead us to a table. As we walked through the restaurant I noticed 3 empty tables one of which we were unceremoniously seated at. I was appalled by the lack of service and attitude of the "Manager". He is the reason we will not be returning to any Morton's restaurants anywhere in the US. On the good side Stephan the waiter who looked after us did a very good job. He is a very talented waiter. We decided against appetizers or salads as they didn't look that good on the tables around us. We ordered the Prime Rib and New York Steak, both of which were good. The garlic mash was tasty, the grilled asparagus with balsamic was OK (it is better at The Grill) and the Mac & Cheese was good too. The Lyonnaise potatoes were loaded with pepper so much so that we could'nt eat them, and we love pepper and spicy foods! Desserts were the usual, the chocolate lava cake and apple pie were OK and the souffle good. However with one glass of wine, one soda and a bottle of sparkling water and two coffees the bill came to $250.00 Not exactly value for money, especially when you take the bad attitude of the "Manager" into consideration.

We didn't really want a full dinner but since we love Morton's we decided to go and have a nice dinner away from hotel food. We just had a bad experience at a nearby restaurant so we did not identify ourselves as VIP. Wanted to see how we were treated. Had a great server and great meal. Thanks Morton's for always being top notch.

Every time I have been here it's been excellent. Great quality food cooked exactly how I ask for it. Good atmosphere and a great wine list. I will be back here over and over.

I want to start off by saying some of the best food I have ever had. But.....We were seated with wine menus nothing else. We waited and waited and waited no water or menus , nothing . I finally asked for a manager ( who never showed up by the way ) I finally had to ask a bus boy for water. The waiter finally came he was very nice and finally gave us the menus. The dirty dishes from dinner sat on the table for a while and we were thinking are they ever going to take them ? I still like the waiter but as a owner of a small hotel I was very put off by the lack of manager and the slow bussing . The food was excellent - like really, really excellent ., As a senior reviewer on trip advisor I don't know how to rate this place. I was so put off by the slow service but the food was so good . Is it a 3 maybe ?

My youngest brother took the Van Wilder approach to college and after 7 years was finally graduating and he picked here for the family to celebrate his long winded efforts of achievement. We walked in a little early so we had a drink at the bar. The bartender was very frank on what was good and maybe not as good on the menu since none of us had been here before. We made it to our table finally and Stephan (pronounced ste-ven) was our waiter of the evening. Stephan also was very good about breaking down the menu for us. We shared short rib tacos and the jumbo shrimp cocktail presentation w/ dry ice (very cool). The restaurant itself is very clean and has that old school wood and low lights look. The sommelier came by and made some nice choices and we went with a blend made specifically for Morton's. For myself I had the center cut prime ribeye 16oz. Medium rare with dry rub peppercorns and a bourbon creme au pouive that really was cooked to perfection and was something very special. We shared sides of creamed spinach, Mac and cheese, Parmesan fries, baked potatoes and even Brussels sprouts. All fairly good. Just before the main course came my brother opened his gifts and I gave him a pair of Beats by Dre headphones and serious as a heart attack Dr Dre walked in not five minutes later right behind us and acknowledged us when we gestured his way. He was joined by two ladies (2.3 billion from Apple and you could have the same). He sat in the back and his bodyguard sat right next to us. You could tell he was a regular how the staff responded to all of them. Anyway for dessert I ordered a grand mariner soufflé that was also good. The experience in a whole was very good. Because I had told them of my bros graduation our custom menus had a congrats to him at the top of the menu....nice touch! The prices are up there but you do get what you pay for even if you can only make it for a special occasion. If I get the opportunity to come back some day I surely will.

I've been to several mortons and this is my favorite. The good quality is the best. The drinks are also tasty.

We had a reservation for five and arrived with 2 more. They were super flexible and gave us another two settings without any grief. We were promptly seated and given menus and the drinks that were ordered arrived just as quick. The service and attention to detail is wonderful but of course it all comes at a price. We came out from another state for a business visit and I would recommend taking any client here. The food was very good and the desserts were just delicious and fresh ( they are ordered after your main course comes because it takes them 20-30mons to prep). Overall I think it's a great place for an intimate meeting or time with family and kid friendly.

Having the option to compare this Morton's to others around the world, it is way below the standard I know. There was no hostess to greet us and it took the bartender about 5 minutes to come over and check if we can be helped or be seated. The waiter did not go over the menu with us and did not explain to us, that some desserts take extra time to make. So if I did not know this, we would have ordered the dessert after dinner which would have added another 20 to 30 minutes to it. The Filet I had was bland, the potatoes au gratin where warm, not hot and the service was normal at best.

Morton's was like a ghost town inside. Service was lacking - the waiter was gone for long periods of time and we were frustrated. Having been to Mastro's, I was expecting their level of service and this was nowhere near that. The steak was tasty but the value for the food is not there. Overpriced and service very slow.

The personnel at the Morton's Woodland Hills made it a great evening!!! They were a little slow at first (I have noticed this many times before - even late at night - before they close and there are less than four (4) tables max. in main dining room. This time, however, the staff truly redeemed themselves and went above and beyond. ONE WORD OF CAUTION: IF YOU ARE USING THE CURRENT VALET CO. AT THE WOODLAND HILLS LOCATION, LOCK ALL VALUABLES, BAGS, GLOVE COMPARTMENTS, ETC. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY.... I can almost guarantee that I will receive a call due to this "unique post." I will alert all colleagues about this "matter," and see how things progress from there. *Any company that hires a sub-contractor should know of that companies practices, "new hire" process(es), etc., (as it becomes a reflection of the initial company) and ensure that the other co. (valet company) is employing honest, background checked individuals - know more info about the other business(es) being allowed to conduct business at their company.* I expected more from Morton's - to spend over $125 for a meal, then have to replace item(s) taken from my car...... I must ask myself, " [I]s it worth it?"

My wife and I were here for dinner with some friends. Service was Excellent, servers attentive, very polite, and eager to please Food: Crab cakes were very Excellent, and we could make a meal out of just that alone. Other appetizers were the Bruschdtta and Roast Beef with Blue Cheese Crostini - toasted bread were soggy, but otherwise, Very Good and tasty Caesar's Salad was good to borderline Very Good Filet Mignon was excellent along with the mashed potatoes Chicken Christoper was TERRIBLE! We were surprised at how overcooked it was and extremely dry. Rather than making a fuss with friends there, we decided to just take it home - primarily maybe to see if something can be done with it. The dessert was .. double chocolate mousse, I think - and it was Very Good. Overall, everything was Very Good to Excellent - except for the Chicken Christopher. We wouldn't ordinarily order a chicken dish as many times, a restaurant tends to slightly overcook it, but we had never tasted this dish before, and curious about it. When we did try to do something with the chicken at home, a couple bites and we basically threw the entire dish away - it was THAT dry and seemingly tasteless. I am surprised that Morton's would not be better at doing this dish.
